Where do we even begin?! From our first conversation with Marissa, we KNEW we had to have IndAroma cater our event. What really got us to commit was the food tasting experience with Abhishek! The food was out of this world good and the people are even better. We never had to wait for a response back to an email, never felt like once our deposit cleared that we were forgotten about like some other vendors, and it always felt like we were the only couple they were working with!! The day of our event was seamless and absolute perfection!!!!!!! Everyone raved about our food and how nice the staff were! We recently had IndAroma cater our wedding and we were blown away by them! By far the easiest and best interaction we had with vendors. Everything was done very professionally all the way from the initial meeting, to invoicing and pricing, tasting and final execution. Moreover, they are generally very helpful in terms of suggesting other vendors. The price is extremely fair especially given their superior service. I would highly recommend!

IndAroma partnered with a separate caterer and provided a full Indian buffet for our wedding. They offered a seamless, professional experience and all of their food was top notch. They accommodated several different dietary restrictions with no hesitation, and we received numerous compliments on their efforts throughout the evening. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again to cater any occasion!

IndAroma provided catering for 2 events, my wedding in the morning and thereafter, for my reception. They also provided our wedding cake. Our guests said they've never had such wonderful tasting cake and a modern and novel menu, which was atypical to Indian weddings. We loved working with Abhishek, he understood our style and presented us with great ideas, which we incorporated in our wedding venue. We insisted that we did not want a typical Indian wedding menu and wanted very light fare, which he delivered. Wish his restaurant was closer to us, so we could visit more often! Abhisek is extremely professional and patient. We had a fusion wedding and I was feeling very stressed from various family pressures and cultural differences. Abhisek was sure to accommodate to all of our differences and various requests. I was snappy a couple of times and he still kept his professional demeanor and never let me feel unreasonable (even when I was). This is the kind of vendor that wins at their profession. Their understanding, of how stressful a wedding day is, is everything. Not to mention that their food is extremely delicious and they catered to all of our requests. Two thumbs way up. You will not regret working with INDaroma. They are the most professional and reasonable priced caterer in the area. I could not be happier!!! Thank you for everything

When it comes to food, my dad is VERY picky. I showed him so many different caterers. After finally meeting Abhishek and his team, we decided on IndAroma. With high expectations, we moved forward and were very impressed. They not only accommodated every possible request thrown at them, they did so with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Their food was not only excellent, but their presentation goes above and beyond. We had totally different styles for the mehindi and reception, and they delivered wonderfully. Their team was also present every step of the way and addressed any concerns immediately. They even made sure to follow the bride and groom around to make sure we were well fed. What can I say? Absolutely wonderful services and we would absolutely go with them again! Good luck with all your planning!

Awesome team!

Extremely courteous, professional and pleasant owner (Abhishek), staff and manager. They were recommended by other friends and we did not even talk to any other Indian food caterers for our Sangeet wedding event. The food was exceptional. Our guests were raving about the food and the presentation. Their professionalism gets 11/10 from me!
As the mother of the groom (our event) I was running around the entire evening, Marissa, the catering manager for the evening, came to me several times to make sure I had food and something to drink! Service with a smile. Look no further if you want good Indian food and exceptional service.

Wonderful!

IndAroma catered our wedding and did a fantastic job. The food was tasty and beautifully presented (the aam-palak chaat is amazing; I’d still like to know how they get the spinach leaves so crispy). They made adjustments to dishes when we requested them, and we were able to try everything both during a tasting and at their restaurant (which we now eat at regularly). The quality of service was amazing!

Abhishek and Marissa were a pleasure to work with all the way from the planning stages to the day-of. They are very knowledgeable about what will and won’t work and really lessened the planning stress with their sense of humor and wisdom. Marissa surprised us with some thoughtful touches on the wedding day, like bringing appetizers and dinner to us and making sure we always had a drink. If she hadn’t, we’d probably have gone hungry as it was impossible to move without talking to friends and family!

We would highly recommend for their amazing service and food!

Mehndi, Sangeet and Wedding Day success!

Abhishek and his team at IndAroma were amazing to work with for all of our events!! The food and service was not only exceptional but they are willing to work with you non stop to ensure you are happy. Even the indian vegan meals they prepared were to die for! The moong dal halwa was the best dessert you will ever taste, even our friends and family from India kept raving about the food! Highly recommended!

Working with Abhishek was a pleasure. We had a Hindu-Jewish crowd (145 guests) and so we wanted to make sure the food worked out for everyone. Abhishek worked closely with us on each item on the menu and was very accommodating at the tasting. The guests loved the variety of food and we highly recommend them.

Incredible food at our wedding!

Indaroma provided the food for our wedding day – we can’t recommend them enough! The staff were very responsive to our questions and accommodating in helping us to design and tailor the menu, including after the tasting. And on the wedding day itself, the food was delicious – our guests raved about the buffet during and after the wedding. We can’t recommend Indaroma enough – if it’s still available, ask for the sparkling blueberry lemonade!

Best Indian Caterer in DC Area

We first experienced IndAroma when we went to a friend's wedding where they did the catering and it was the best food we had ever had at a wedding. Since we were planning our own wedding we reached out to them to cater ours. From the beginning, the IndAroma staff was amazing. We interacted with both Marissa and Abhishek and they were both very responsive, accommodating, and patient. They answered all of our questions and worked with us to set up the perfect menu for our wedding, even including some things made special by the chef that were not on the official catering menu. For the entire planning process the IndAroma team was incredibly accommodating and helped us work through any bumps in the road that came up. On the day of the event, they pulled together the entire event from setting up tables to serving food and making sure we and our guests had everything we needed. The food itself was absolutely outstanding. We have tried a lot of Indian restaurants in the DC/NOVA area and IndAroma is by far the best we have had. Everyone who attended our wedding is still talking about how good the food was. I would 100% recommend IndAroma to anyone wanting top tier Indian food at their wedding or any other event!

Wow! Working with IndAroma is a dream. Abhishek and Lelia were super responsive, easygoing, and professional through the whole process. Every note that we shared with them - from designing the cake to drink recipes for the bartenders - was followed exactly. Appetizers and dinner were absolutely delicious (we are still getting compliments from guests!). I only wish we had more upcoming events so we could use them again! In the mean time we'll be heading back to their cafe to relive all of the yummy moments from our special day :)

We worked with Samah at Indaroma to pick out a cake for our wedding. We picked out a cake design online that we really liked and Indaroma created exactly what we asked for and made our cake look beautiful. We had a four tier cake and we had a different flavor on each layer. The cake tasted amazing and the real testament to that is that there was not even a single piece of cake left over after our wedding! We would highly recommend Indaroma!

My now husband and I discovered this gem of an establishment when we started buying our Indian groceries at their co-owned store "Ginger and Spice". We looked forward to each of our grocery shopping trips as it gave us the opportunity to eat at Indaroma.
So, when the moment came to plan our wedding, the only definite decision I knew from the beginning is that I wanted Indaroma to cater our wedding. All of our friends and family came up to us during and after the wedding to let us know how the food was some of the best Indian food they had tasted. From the delicious appetizers and entrees to the dessert lounge finale with masala chai and madras coffee, I couldn't have asked for a better wedding nosh experience. People were also obsessed with the paan.
Being of Indian heritage, I can attest to the fact that their home cooking is food for the soul. In addition to their quality of food, their service was impeccable. Abhishek and Samah met with us multiple times to finalize our menu and they were such a joy to work with. I wish I could throw events on a monthly basis just to work with this company and eat their food.

Choosing Indaroma as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made as we were planning our wedding. We had a multicultural wedding and most of our guests were not Indian, some had never had Indian food. We wanted to serve memorable food, rather the traditional wedding choices of fish, chicken or steak. Indaroma helped us create an interesting menu with some Indian classic dishes as well as a few dishes with a twist that were also fun and new for our guests who were well versed in Indian cuisine. We had such rave reviews about the food (appetizers, entrees, desserts) from both our Indian and non- Indian guests.
Working with Abhishek was wonderful. He really worked to give us the wedding we dreamed of and more. The presentation was absolutely gorgeous- elegant, classy. Everything was organized and ran on time.
Communication with Abhishek was easy. Our food tasting was one of my favorite experiences of the wedding planning process as it was really an amazing feast. The food just kept coming and coming and it was so nice to taste and enjoy the food. On wedding day, everything is so busy its hard to enjoy the food, so it was nice to have our own special wedding meal. I really struggled with picking a cake design and Indaroma was flexible in allowing me to make changes until the last minute to really create my dream cake, which was both delicious and beautiful.

Amazing Wedding Caterer!

We really enjoyed working with Indaroma as our outside caterer for our wedding at the Westin in Annapolis. it was a great experience from meeting with Abhishek and Malena to pick the appetizers, dinner, and dessert items to the tasting. On the day of the wedding the staff was very professional. Our guests all really enjoyed all the food and a few guests even mentioned it was the best wedding food they had ever had! They were also open to some creative ideas as I wanted to incorporate more of an American flare on the Indian food (ex. mini lamb burgers, won-tons, shrimp skewers, etc.). Overall, I would recommend Indaroma as caterer for weddings.

The BEST Indian food/ catering of all time

Wedding food is very important to me. If the food is bad at your wedding it’s super disappointing. But if the food is beyond spectacular then not only will your guests enjoy and remember it but you will have no worries the day of your wedding. Indaroma was hands down the best Indian caterer of all time, and I mean that coming from someone in the industry and has worked with a lot of caterers. They were punctual, professional, kind, and above all the food was perfection. They listened to our adjustments during the tasting and executed a meal to remember. Guests of our wedding still come up to us saying how much they enjoy the food and how unique the experience was. I can not stress how professional they were as well. The food was perfection and I would recommend them to anyone for any event not just a wedding!

Indian Fusion Experience Home Run!

IndAroma Catering stole the 2024 Gala Awards Show with their terrific food and excellent service. We knew we were in good hands, but we didn't know how incredible the partnership would become as we moved through the process. IndAroma catered my wedding at Brookside Gardens and they did a fabulous job! The food was EXQUISITE and I received heaps of compliments from family and friends. Everyone was raving about the food. The service was great, too. They along with other members of the team made the evening go smoothly.

Indaroma recently catered our 2 day wedding event, which included 4 meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch and Saturday dinner). They did an absolutely phenomenal job! The owners were present throughout our wedding, which truly gave us confidence that everything would go smoothly. Although we used one caterer for so many meals, there was versatility with each meal. Our guests especially loved the Indo-Chinese fusion night, complete with "chinese food take out boxes" of noodles and rice! The food was truly amazing, and my husband and I attempted to try as much of each meal as we could! Our guests loved it. Also, just the week of the wedding, we had a friend tell us that she required gluten free food, and the chef was happy and prompt to give us a list of foods that were gluten-free. We will absolutely be using Indaroma again, and visiting their restaurant!

Food is very important in any event especially a wedding. Loved all the items and the personal attention to detail provided by Indaroma catering is impressive. We are happy beyond our expectations. You have to taste the food to realize how good it is.

They absolutely made everything perfect regarding food and service. The tastes were on point or even more so, and the owner so just so pleasant to work with. IndAroma did an amazing job on our wedding. Abishek and his staff were great to work with! Abishek and his wife did everything to accommodate my families requests for Bangladeshi style food, which is very hard to find in the area. They made modifications to their already wonderful food to make it more Bangladeshi style, which my parents appreciated greatly! Everything from their food, to the staff and the presentation of the food was the best in town. Our cake was also amazing in both taste and appearance. We really enjoyed working with them! I would highly recommend IndAroma to anyone!!

Their food is amazing - my foodie cousin from New York City couldn't stop raving about the it.

I was looking for a caterer with gluten free and vegan options - and I love Indian food. IndraRoma was affordable, easy to work with and a great local family run business. Far an away the easiest vendor I had to work with and very affordable. My wedding was on a pier in November - they didn't blink. Book these guys!

First, I 'd like to start off by saying that I never right reviews for service vendors. Mainly because I firmly believe that in this industry-doing your job well should be what you pay for and therefore expected. However, I wanted to make sure all the fellow brides out there (particularly those in the DMV area) are FULLY aware of how amazing Indaroma is.

I could literally write an entire book of my experiences with this caterer-but will try to hit the high points as I know many of you (as I did when I was looking for a caterer) would appreciate.

1. From the first meeting their professionalism was outstanding. They always had a "will do" attitude and nothing was ever a problem. We were the first wedding at the Marriott Marquis DC, and as amazing as the hotel was, they still had some minor kinks to work out. Indaroma was all over any potential obstacles and made everything work out beautifully!
2. Their creativity in both their food and presentation was phenomenal. Pictures couldn't do it justice. All I can say is-is that our guests are still talking about how great it was.
3. Their pricing was very reasonable for the service you received. Although they aren't the cheapest, you get top notch service with people you can trust. And on your special day, the last thing you want to worry about is your caterer's service.

I plan on using them for all our major events in the future & I HIGHLY recommend they for yours as well!

Our favorite vendor from our entire multi-day event wedding

IndAroma was by far our favorite vendor. I give five stars for all the basics: professionalism, great tasting experience, execution, taste of the food. BUT, I really want to point out what made them unique: Abhishek was one of the few DC area vendors that didn't judge us for what our wedding budget was. I was sick of vendors gouging us for money. With Abhishek, his pricing was fair from the initial meeting (we had many vendors give us absurd initial prices and then "lower" it after negotiating). There were no surprise last-week additions to the quote (I had two vendors do that to me). When our quote went over our budget, he helped us curate it so what we would feel comfortable with the menu and it's price. All responses from his coordinator, Marissa, were polite, and incredibly punctual even though our event was on a major 3-day wedding weekend. If you hate that empty feeling you get after a vendor hands you a quote for your event, I highly suggest booking IndAroma because it is truly a breath of fresh air. We felt like we had a friend the entire time - one time we went to their restaurant just for lunch since we were in the area and Marissa recognized us from the security camera and she came out just to chat with us and say hi. They are just great people who are actually passionate about being caterers.

Indaroma did a wonderful job with our cake. It was beautiful, our guests raved about the design! After checking out another cake vendor who was far pricier and frankly not remotely as delicious as Indaroma's cake we knew Indaroma was the vendor to go with. They were very professional and everything went smoothly.

My favorite was the chocolate vanilla cake, and the mango was a hit with our guests (it was all gone by the end of the night!)

I had the pleasure of working with Abhishek and Malena for our wedding on September, 29th, 2017. In all fairness I do not think we even looked at any other catering vendors because we always knew it was going to be Indaroma catering the food for our wedding. From the get go it was a very relaxing experience working with Abhishek. The team truly has a great sense of humor and working with them was like working with friends. The Indaroma team handled menu crafting, subsequent adjustments and add-on requests so well in stride which just speaks to their vast experience in managing catering events of all magnitudes. Apart from their excellent management capabilities of the food catering aspect, the food speaks for itself. They had creative menu options that we tapped into and needless to say guests were extremely pleased with the variety of the menu. Our wedding had a cocktail hour as well and the hors d'oeuvres were literally flying of passed trays as quickly as wait staff could bring them out. I am personally big on dessert and we were able to construct an extensive dessert menu consisting of petite fours, mousse cups, mini cake slices of different flavors and a collection of other items. I am most definitely going to work with Abhishek and his team on different event needs in the future. They are very deserving of their lofty status in the catering industry in the Northern Virginia area and their reputation truly precedes themselves. Oh and I would truly recommend the Tandoori Shrimp cocktail as part of the evening. It was a complete hit with guests and the entire wedding party.

Mother of the Bride

IndAroma did a wonderful job catering our daughter’s wedding in Nov.2018. From the first steps with meeting with staff, to the delicious tasting experience and finally to the actual reception and dinner everything tasted great. The professionalism of the staff including waiters, bartenders and banquet managers contributed to making the wedding so meaningful. The appetizers that were passed were so plentiful and delicious and the buffet food exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated how the staff wrapped up the extra food.

I had the pleasure of having IndAroma cater our wedding through the Four Seasons in Baltimore and we were SO impressed by the food. As a native of Detroit, I find it hard to find truly amazing Indian food in Baltimore, but I was floored by how amazing our food was for the wedding! IndAroma was amazingly delicious!

We hired IndAroma for our wedding reception. Marissa and her team took care of us from the very beginning with the tasting and then carefully crafting a menu from cocktail hour to the reception. We specifically hired IndAroma for our reception due to their lavish and intricate menu items such as Paneer Wontons and the live station Crispy Palak Chaat, while also serving traditional and authentic Indian dishes. Best food vendor out there

IndaRoma was hands down the best food vendor for our wedding, they were such a pleasure to work with. Not only was the food AMAZING and high quality, but the staff was so accommodating and the experience itself (the tasting, creating our menu, etc) was wonderful. We couldn’t be happier. Our guests enjoyed the food so much, we had rave reviews all throughout!! They also have unique fusion items that were a hit. Although it is a pricey penny to pay, it is worth every bit. One of our favorite vendors from our special day.

We used IndAroma for our wedding cake and were very happy! Abhishek was great to work with, and took the time to sit down with me and my husband to create the cake design we wanted. I knew that I wanted a paisley henna design and Abhishek worked with me to get it just right. I had a few designs in mind, and he helped to narrow it down to something that would look good in terms of both the design and color. In the end, the cake was beautiful and exactly what I wanted.

In terms of taste, it was also excellent! I feel like guests don't usually compliment the cake, but in our case people raved about it. The pistachio cake was just delicious!

Best catering!!

We are so happy to have worked with IndAroma for our wedding reception. The Sebastians Mehndi Night

We used Indaroma catering for our mehndi night at the Omni Shoreham. From the moment we met with their team, we were greeted with nothing but excitement, professionalism, and positivity. It was wonderful to have such a great team working with us for our wedding weekend. On top of that, at our tasting we were blown away by the food. Everything was delicious and we knew our guests were in for a treat. When mehndi night came around, the Indaroma team killed it. The food was delicious, service was exceptional, and our guests loved the details (especially the chicken tikka taco station). Amazing food and service - truly an exceptional caterer; perfect for weddings and major events!

We used IndAroma as the caterer for our Sangeet event at our wedding were beyond impressed. From the very beginning, their strong communication during the planning process set them apart. They were attentive, responsive, and accommodating, ensuring every detail was covered.

The IndAroma team was simply amazing. Marissa and Abhishek took care of our every need and were so fun to work with. Not only were they courteous and professional, but they handled the planning so effectively. They helped us navigate creating our menu and incorporating many diverse tastes and cuisines across the various courses. They also helped create custom plates for individual guests with very restrictive dietary restrictions, which showed their strong attention to detail and personal touch.

The highlight, of course, was the food. IndAroma's unique variety of dishes left everyone raving. We received compliments on just about every single item served. IndAroma’s fusion items and live stations were so unique and creative and helped make our event memorable. Throughout our event, what truly stood out was their flawless execution. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and elevated our entire event. And there wasn’t ever a long wait for any of the stations or buffet due to their efficiency and planning.

After experiencing IndAroma's exceptional service, we can confidently say that we would choose them again for any future events. IndAroma turned our Sangeet into an unforgettable event, and we can't wait to work with them again in the future.

IndAroma was everything we had hoped for in a caterer. Words cannot explain how amazing the IndAroma team was from start to finish and through our entire wedding process from the extensive, thorough, and DELICIOUS tasting to our final reception menu on the big wedding day. Abhishek and his team were wonderful!!

They were always there for us and were always responsive and attentive to our vision and needs. They never failed to return our phone calls or respond to our emails. Abhishek, the busy man he is, was always there when I personally needed to speak to him to ease my worries about the wedding day and menu. He was also available via phone/text/email and always looked out for our best interest. He always gave us the best recommendations for our menu and did not overdo it. He catered to our guests needs and dietary restrictions. He was also great with both of our families and eased their worries in terms of the menu selection.

Our guests loved our cocktail hour menu and dinner was also a hit. Indaroma’s desserts were also just as amazing and our guests still talk about our dessert selection.

Abhishek also gave advice on certain other aspects of the wedding outside his expertise. More importantly, him and his staff were beyond professional and kind.

Again, like I said, words can’t explain the service that IndAroma provided. The level of professionalism, availability, and attention to detail was exceptional.

I, myself, am super Type A and cared a lot about details and strive for perfection, so IndAroma was there for me and my wife. And believe me, I ASK A LOT of questions. Abhishek was very patient with me and reassured my wife and I with the catering process and the menu items.

In short, I recommend IndAroma to be any future bride/groom’s caterer. I recommend their catering services without any reservations. If we were to do it all over again, we’d pick them as our caterer again. Their menu is exceptional and their flavors are tasteful, unique, and traditional but with a modern twist!

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!!!! We worked with Abhishek, Shahrina, and Olivia for my sisters wedding in April 2014 and it was amazing so there was no doubt that when it came to our turn in April 2015, that we would use him again. My sister's wedding had a buffet and we were set up family style, so there were a few nuances and logistical things to work out but it worked out better than we could have imagined. The food came out perfectly, the guests were brought food in a timely manner with food to spare, everyone ate up their food with delight and we still are getting compliments about the food and the live stations during cocktail hour. I wish I had a chance to eat more of their food that night! Lucky for me, that they have a restaurant about 7 miles from my house! If you want some good Indian, Fusion, or Indo-Chinese food, then you want to call Indaroma!!!!

Amazing food, amazing team!

We chose Indaroma after we had such amazing things from other couples and vendors! We had heard multiple people go to Indaroma weddings and rave about the food. The tasting was such a fun experience and they really helped us figure out what we were looking for, even though we had no direction from the start! We were a Sri Lankan/Indian wedding and they helped try to bring some Sri Lankan flavors to the cuisine as well. Also, hearing multiple venues say about incredible the Indaroma team was to work with made us feel very confident in their organization and responsiveness. Marissa and Abhishek were so nice, thoughtful, and thorough. Both our families loved them and the process with them was so easy. Both my husband and I had not been to many weddings, especially Indian weddings, so they really helped us figure things out while also keeping our budget in mind! Excellent, caring and professional

We hired them for wedding reception. The food was excellent. They were prompt and at hotel ahead of time to take care of the catering. The staff was proactive in telling us what else they need at hotel so there is no last minute confusion. Above all, event manager from caterer was there till the end of event 11 PM - thanks to the young lady! Above all, if you looking for a stress free catering don't look around too much. Good job!

Abhishek and his team at Indaroma were absolutely phenomenonal. From our very first food tasting to the wedding itself, they were super helpful, organized and of course delivered the most amazing service! I can't say we had any complaints, despite the wedding being in Baltimore! Not a glitch! They worked with us to set up a beautiful cocktail hour with passed apps and stations! I was able to create a customized cake which seemed like such an easy process working with Indaroma! The cake was to die for! Our guests were going nuts over the food. We had served a vegetarian lunch and then had meat and veggie options for dinner. Don't forget to try the gobi Manchurian, am palak chat, and tawa fry...my favorites. For cake definitely try the red velvet..it melts in your mouth!

Amazing caterer - highly recommend!

Indaroma was so helpful and flexible during our selection process. They took the time to explain their menu to us and also recommend the best food options given our wedding theme. Overall, the food was amazing - our guests and family couldn't stop raving about the appetizers and the main entrees selected for our buffet. The Mango lassi and Gulab Jamun cheesecake were absolute crowd pleasers! They were very generous with our need for multiple tastings and looked after us like we were family. Even incredibly flexible with the payments given our uncertainty with our visa situation! Very rare group of people. Would highly recommend them for any special occasion! Abhishek and Indaroma made our wedding reception dreams come true. My husband and I decided early on that we wanted to have an Indian Buffet at our wedding (even before we got engaged) because it's the best. We would give IndAroma 25 stars out of 5 if we could. Absolutely everything about Abhishek, Marissa, and their team's service, food, and overall assistance was above and beyond all reasonable expectations. Let me count the ways. Their chef tried out my mother in law's recipe to make sure the taste of the biryani was perfect. No charge. They actually walked through the first cost estimate line by line with us and gave specific advice on where we could reduce cost, including suggesting specific affordable products we could buy to replace their provided cutlery, dishware, and linens. Yes, you read that right, they eagerly and actively took time and money out of their own bottom line to better support us. When we proposed bringing one or two items from another caterer in order to offer one dish outside of their menu, they enthusiastically agreed to serve it and clean it up. On the day of, Marissa was more akin to an event organizer than merely a catering lead. And somehow I'm compiling a list of rave reviews even before mentioning the food, which was simply spectacular. The tame palates of the Midwesterners and the bold palates of the Deshis in attendance all devoured and complimented the appetizers, drinks, and buffet we put together. IndAroma also had a creative pricing approach where we weren't charged by the dish but rather by the headcount. This meant they were happy to prepare more dishes (for more variety) in just slightly smaller portions all at the same cost. Thank you so so so much, IndAroma team, we feel so impossibly lucky to have been able to work with you on the best night of our lives, and you played such an important role in it. We selected IndAroma catering for our engagement party after having read numerous great reviews about them on several wedding sites. At our very 1st meeting, Abhishek was able to impress us with their very innovative menu and professional service. As our guests were very international, we wanted to treat them to the Indian food with a twist! Absolutely perfect!

We were thrilled with Indaroma on our wedding day. Everything was perfect. The taste of the food, the presentation, and the customer service.

It was so easy to work with them, and I would hands down only use them in the future for events. We had a menu that was not ordinary and they made it happen! Our reception menu included italian, mexican, thai, indochinese, and indian food. The entire night I heard our guests making comments on how this was the best food they have had at a reception. Working with IndAroma was such a pleasure. Abishek and Olivia were extremely responsive and patient throughout the whole process. Whether it was fluctuations in headcount or last minute menu changes they were accommodating at every step.

Now let me talk about the food! It was amazing, so flavorful and creative! They think about the guest first and make sure that the food is accessible and easy manage for the guest. All of our guest were blown away by both the o'dourves and family style dinner that they catered for us.

I plan to keep on going back to IndAroma for both our catering needs and just when my wife and I want to have a great meal!

Abhishek and his team are phenomenal! We met with IndAroma, through my mom's recommendation. From our initial consultation, we were immediately impressed with the quality of service, their flexibility and their commitment! They were so courteous and extended the tasting to both of our families, and treated us so well! They were so understanding of our strict dietary restrictions and make sure everything was done correctly.
IndAroma provided lunch for our Hindu ceremony and dinner for our reception. Our guests were so impressed with both menus and raved about it all weekend. I cannot recall the number of times people told us that it was "the best wedding food they had ever had!" We cannot thank Abhishek and his team for making our wedding sooo special! We worked with IndAroma as our wedding caterer for our summer 2014 wedding and they were GREAT! We have heard countless compliments about the delicious food at our wedding from our friends and family and we couldn't be happier.

We worked primarily with Abhishek and Olivia and they were wonderful to work with. They had a keen sense of creating a varied and interesting menu. They always got back to me in a timely manner and were very accommodating with our requests. They were also open and responsive to our suggestions at the tasting and were happy to make alterations to the menu even at the last minute.

IndAroma provided great food at a very reasonable price! We had selected a venue that traditionally does not allow outside food; however, we really wanted to bring some Indian food in for our buffet. Having IndAroma as our caterer was the best decision we made! The food was mind blowing, especially their appetizers and the the way they serve them. Most importantly, the attention to detail and their warm hospitality with special care for the hosts and bride and groom! We had the pleasure of using Indaroma for our food, table settings, and bar service for our wedding in May. Being long time customers of their cafe in Annandale and lifelong fans of Indian food, we had to look no further for our caterer. From the beginning, Abhishek, Malena and Marissa were attentive and professional to our many questions, changes and needs. Since they were the first of our vendors, we looked to them for guidance with other aspects of our wedding planning, and they quickly became our biggest factor in the overall flow and design of our wedding day.

We had an initial tasting, with many changes to the menu that were met with care and thoughtful execution. The food was simply delicious! Our guests keep talking about how delicious and well presented everything was to this day. Abhishek and his team even helped with having options for guests that weren't fans of Indian food - a dish that turned out delicious! Our appetizers were passed by their staff, and easy to eat, which was very important to us, and modifications were made to existing dishes so they could be passed around. Indaroma's flexibility throughout the entire process was something we were truly in awe of.

Malena was absolutely thorough in preparing the staff for our wedding day. She made sure all our of intricate venue modifications, buffet placement (which was a last minute change that Abhishek and his team welcomed and executed perfectly), and staff instructions went without a hitch. From serving welcome drinks, changing the room as needed for the different segments of the night, to making sure the party kept going until the end, Indaroma's team was flawless - yes, we mean without ANY flaw.

When you think wedding caterer - you tend to think about just food. Indaroma to us was more than just a caterer - they were the biggest factor in the execution of our wedding, and they were perfect. We couldn't have asked for better food, a better team or a more perfect vendor. Thank you!

These guys are the best in the DMV for south Asian wedding catering for good reason! I was very blessed to have found IndAroma catering from looking through positive reviews online. Flavorful food is a must for our families and good food is an essential part of any family get together, especially a wedding. My husband's family is Irish/German American and mine is South African East Indian. We both love Indian food but wanted catering that would represent the fusion of our marriage. IndAroma was the perfect catering company for our unique taste and it was especially fortunate that they make delicious, flavorful and artistic wedding cakes. They were very accommodating with creating a menu that reflected our heritage and wedding style and made adjustments to personalize the menu and wedding cake for us. Everyone enjoyed the food, even those who had never had Indian food before! The food presentation and taste from the appetizers to the desserts was just amazing! IndAroma also created a signature cocktail for us, which was a huge highlight! It was absolutely delicious! We told them what ingredients we liked and they concocted a special drink for us. They really went above and beyond to personalize the menu for us and create a unique catering experience just for us that we can treasure! One of my husband's groomsmen is also a professional chef who is very truthful when it comes to food and he gave the catering 2 thumbs up! This is the only caterer I will ever use!

WHAT CAN YOU SAY WHEN YOUR EXPERIENCE IS PERFECT?

This is the second time we have used IndAroma--for my second son's reception. The first time was so great that we went to them before we tried anyone else; they were so gracious and accommodating that we did not look any further. Once again, they were outstanding! Our guests loved them--their food, their presentation, their service were all magnificent.

IndAroma's menu is brilliantly creative. It serves great Indian/Pakistani food with a very modern and contemporary flair. (The Aam Palak, shrimp, mango lassi, the kulfi were the biggest hits with our guests, though everything was excellent).

The people we dealt with--Abhishek, the owner/founder, Marissa and Malena--were a pleasure to work with, and very professional. And interestingly, the "tasting" was one of the high points of our experience with them.

If this sounds like a commercial for them, what can I say? It is hard to be perfect, so when one someone is, we must acknowledge them. Too many service experiences are disappointing. With weddings there is a ton of anxiety, so it is priceless to find someone you can just trust to get everything right, That is what IndAroma is for us, after two great experiences.

The best caterers in the DMV!

We first met Abhishek & Marissa at our wedding food tasting session. Abhishek took the time to sit down with us and explain each course which was uniquely detailed per our requests and he truly went above expectations. Marissa was very knowledgeable and helped formulate the final menu in addition to accommodating us with changes as we neared the main event. The food was excellent & loved by each and every guest with numerous compliments given to us throughout the evening. Exceptional!

When we first discovered IndAroma, we knew that we'd have to have them cater for our wedding reception and most certainly include the lamb chops in the menu. Our obsession with their phenomenal food went to the extent that we shortlisted venues where they had previously worked. No surprises here - it was all that we wished for and more! The team at IndAroma are fantastic. From our tasting with Marissa (who is the sweetest) to the actual event, the food was perfect. Our guests continue to rave about it and mention how rare it is to have such amazing food at a wedding. Reviews from the guests - 7 year old from Toronto: this is the best butter chicken ever. Bride's father: this kulfi is better than the ones in Delhi. Friend of the couple: I don't ever eat red meat but I ate three lamb chops (as did several other guests). Friend from Mumbai: Did you order the desserts from India?
The best part is that we can go back to their restaurant every time we think of our wedding. A big thank you to the team at IndAroma for everything they did to make our celebration the very best!

Beyond delicious, excellent service

I'm pretty sure every bride and groom have that fear that the food won't
be as good at the actual event as it was at the tasting. I can honestly say - I think the food was even better at our reception than the day we tried it! Our guests raved about the food - and that's saying a lot - given that we have a lot of good cooks in our family who have strong judgment about catered food! We got compliments for days after about how tasty everything was and how innovative the food options were - some favorites were the mango shrimp cocktail and the paneer wontons, I also thought the Nilgiri lamb was to die for. The dessert lounge was phenomenal and so innovative - gulab jamun cheesecake, gajar halwa tarts and the kulfi with falooda was the biggest hit of all. We couldn't have asked for nicer, more responsive staff in the lead-in, they worked seamlessly with us and the venue to make everything work and truly exceeded our expectations. You won't be disappointed working with IndAroma!

Found my forever caterer!

I can't say enough good things about IndAroma! They provided fabulous catering for my birthday, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The food was incredibly delicious, and everything was handled professionally on the day of the event. All my guests were raving about it! I’ve truly found my forever caterer!

Leading up to the event, Marissa was instrumental in making the planning process smooth. She was efficient, accommodating my requests, and even made suggestions that elevated our event to fabulous heights.

The little touches during the tasting made us feel special and valued. Abhishek was a joy to work with, adding to the overall positive experience.

On the day of the event, TJ was our event coordinator. I felt a bit nervous since I hadn't met her before, but my worries quickly melted away. She knew every detail about my event, thanks to the pristine communication behind the scenes.

Abhishek at IndAroma is AWESOME and very organized! He is very responsive and knows what he is doing. We had some unique needs with our wedding/reception and he was able to propose solutions, carry out the solution and deliver exactly what we needed. His ability to produce unique ideas and meet our needs are flawless! Indaroma was an amazing caterer to work with. Their team is so professional and responsive, while also maintaining flexibility allowing us to finalize a few details a couple weeks ahead of the wedding. The tastings with them were my favorite part of wedding planning! They really took all of our feedback into account for any preferences we had with the food items and delivered on that! All of our guests absolutely loved the food, from the appetizer live stations to the wide range of dinner buffet options to the live jalebi and gulab jamun cheesecake desserts! There was a wide variety to choose from, we were able to change several things at the tasting 10 days before the wedding and the food was great on the day of the wedding. Their mango cake was especially delicious!!Abhishek was very helpful and professional throughout and they helped to make the day the success that it was. I would highly recommend!!

The food was so tasty. They were very flexible with us on everything, including the menu and the presentation of the food. The service staff was very professional and seemed to always be in a pleasant mood. We'd love to use them again in the future.

Indaroma and Abhishek and team were amazing. They worked on fine tuning the taste and ingredients even going so far as to adjust ingredients and recipes based on my suggestions. They even worked with me on making some new dishes and I would use them again over any other caterer.
They were very courteous, professional and most important of all, delivered on what they promised.
The food was all beautifully displayed, tasty and very well done.

The staff at Indaroma were great and very pleasant and professional. Our guest absolutely loved the food and were very impressed. they even commented that this was the best Indian food they have eaten in a long time. Even outside the event our guest have asked for their information.
Abhishek and his team made the process so simple and stressless - would definately recommend them. Not only the food - the staff's mannerism, the quantity of food, the display and presentation was exceptional
