Where do we even begin?! From our first conversation with Marissa, we KNEW we had to have IndAroma cater our event. What really got us to commit was the food tasting experience with Abhishek! The food was out of this world good and the people are even better. We never had to wait for a response back to an email, never felt like once our deposit cleared that we were forgotten about like some other vendors, and it always felt like we were the only couple they were working with!! The day of our event was seamless and absolute perfection!!!!!!! Everyone raved about our food and how nice the staff were! So happy we chose IndAroma for our wedding. The food was spectacular. Many of our guests came up to me to rave about the tastiness of the food without me even asking! Not only was the quality good, but IndAroma was also able to provide both classic and modern, innovative dishes.

They were very responsive as well and professional to work with. The overall process was very smooth to work with them to create a menu.

For the wedding they were on time and delivered a beautiful experience.

Wedding Catering by IndAroma for May 2026 Fusion Wedding

We loved working with IndAroma for our recent wedding last weekend. They catered our Haldi pre-event snacks and dinner, post-baraat snacks, post-ceremony lunch, cocktail hour and reception dinner. We had tried their food at a friend’s wedding a few years ago and were really impressed by the quality, taste, and creativity of the items at that time, so we knew we wanted to sit down for a tasting with them when planning our wedding. As soon as our planner reached out to them, they were very responsive and quickly worked with us to schedule a tasting with our families. The tasting featured incredible food, and we loved interacting with Abhishek and his team as they were really receptive to feedback on the food items from our families, so we didn’t even bother trying any other Indian catering options and went with IndAroma. For our final tasting, they had taken the notes we had provided from our initial tasting and were very accommodating when we asked to change some menu items around and asked to provide Jain options for some of our family members. Since we were having a fusion Indian-Vietnamese wedding, we had asked if they could make some Vietnamese-based items, such as Vietnamese iced coffee as part of our post-baraat refreshments and Pandan mousse cups as part of our dessert table, and they not only were able to do this, but did it well. IndAroma worked seamlessly with our planning team and venue, the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, so that the food was always served in a timely and professional manner to our guests. Our guests were raving about the food from IndAroma all weekend.

In summary, we would definitely recommend IndAroma for your wedding catering and for any other events as well.

Aug'25 Wedding Reception - Food was delicious!!

Delicious and unique fusion food!!! IndAroma catered our wedding reception, and our guests could not stop raving about how amazing everything tasted!

We primarily worked with Marissa, who clearly has a wealth of experience managing and catering large Indian wedding events. From start to finish, the process was seamless. During our food tasting, we were treated to more dishes than we had originally selected — and every single one was incredible. We left full, happy, and completely impressed!

Some standout favorites were the Aalam Palak Chaat, Paneer Wontons, and Gulab Jamun Cheesecakes, but honestly, every dish was flavorful, creative, and one-of-a-kind. Highly recommend IndAroma for anyone looking for food that’s both memorable and absolutely delicious!

The Sebastians Mehndi Night

We used Indaroma catering for our mehndi night at the Omni Shoreham. From the moment we met with their team, we were greeted with nothing but excitement, professionalism, and positivity. It was wonderful to have such a great team working with us for our wedding weekend. On top of that, at our tasting we were blown away by the food. Everything was delicious and we knew our guests were in for a treat. When mehndi night came around, the Indaroma team killed it. The food was delicious, service was exceptional, and our guests loved the details (especially the chicken tikka taco station). Marissa was our coordinator and she was so wonderful; she really took the time to get to know us as a couple. We could not recommend Indaroma more!!

Excellent Experience with Indaroma

We had an amazing experience with Indaroma as our caterer for our spring fusion wedding. Marissa and Missy were so responsive and flexible with our many requests. We got so many compliments on the food and drinks from friends and family; many have said it's the best wedding food they've ever had! The chaat station and passed apps were a big hit with our guests. The team also knocked it out of the park with our linens and dinnerware, which tied everything together so well. They were professional, efficient, and reliable from beginning to end. HIGHLY recommend Indaroma for your wedding catering!

Best Live and Fusion Food Experience

Indaroma catered our Mehendi/Sangeet and let me say they knocked it out the park. We had envisioned live stations for our event and they definetly delivered! All of our guest loved the live stations and raved about every aspect of it. We also had live jalebi and a chocolate fountain, which was popular among the adults and children. They also took care of some aspects of the decor, the indochinese station had chinese takeout boxes which looked amazing.

Working with Marissa, Missy, and the entire Indaroma team was a joy. Marissa and Missy were so friendly and patient with all of our initial calls and with the tastings, they really did make our lives easier as the couple.

If you are looking for a caterer at all, or a caterer that specializes in fusion food, Indaroma is the way to go!

Indaroma is the best!

Indaroma was an amazing caterer to work with. Their team is so professional and responsive, while also maintaining flexibility allowing us to finalize a few details a couple weeks ahead of the wedding. The tastings with them were my favorite part of wedding planning! They really took all of our feedback into account for any preferences we had with the food items and delivered on that! All of our guests absolutely loved the food, from the appetizer live stations to the wide range of dinner buffet options to the live jalebi and gulab jamun cheesecake desserts! Their staff are great and they brought so many people that everything ran smoothly. Even though some rain changed our plans last minute, they were super quick to change to the rain plan and get everything set up in record time! Highly recommend working with Indaroma for your wedding - you won’t regret it!

Definitely work with IndAroma!

We loved working with Marissa and Missy from the very beginning at the tasting, and appreciated their flexibility and suggestions and creativity. We executed a fusion wedding with Zeffert & Gold at VisArts in Rockville, and were so grateful to have the opportunity to work with two incredibly professional, quality organizations with amazing people. Many of our guests shared this was their favorite wedding food ever. People loved the masala mojito, mango lassi, and chai. The dal chawal arancini and shrimp were favorites from cocktail hour, and we particularly loved the chicken tikka, naan, and mint chutney at dinner. The gulab jamun cheesecake as our wedding dessert was exactly the right choice. Excited to pick some of that up for our anniversaries for years to come. Definitely work with IndAroma!

Absolutely Perfect Wedding Caterer!

The whole team at Indaroma Catering, especially Marissa and Abhishek, were absolutely fantastic to work with throughout our entire wedding journey! From the incredibly fun and helpful tasting session where we crafted our perfect menus, to flawlessly executing three completely distinct events (a welcome event with a smattering of hors d'oeuvres, a decadent Indian buffet reception, and a fresh brunch with south Indian classics including live dosa stations), their versatility and attention to detail were mind-blowing. Working with them felt like a true partnership – they were responsive, insightful, and genuinely cared about our vision. The quality was exceptional across the board: food, drinks, desserts – everything was impeccable. Indaroma didn't just cater; they elevated every single event and made the entire process a joy. Cannot recommend them highly enough! They will easily be your favorite vendor!

Beyond the food (which was excellent - key talking point from our guests!), the Indaroma team did an excellent job handling some unexpected last-minute curveballs from us without missing a beat. Found my forever caterer!

I can't say enough good things about IndAroma! They provided fabulous catering for my birthday, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The food was incredibly delicious, and everything was handled professionally on the day of the event. All my guests were raving about it! I’ve truly found my forever caterer!

Leading up to the event, Marissa was instrumental in making the planning process smooth. She was efficient, accommodating my requests, and even made suggestions that elevated our event to fabulous heights.

The little touches during the tasting made us feel special and valued. Abhishek was a joy to work with, adding to the overall positive experience.

On the day of the event, TJ was our event coordinator. I felt a bit nervous since I hadn't met her before, but my worries quickly melted away. She knew every detail about my event, thanks to the pristine communication behind the scenes.

This is the only caterer I will ever use!

50th Birthday Metgala Party

Indaroma and Marissa were amazing. They worked with us to create an Indofusion menu that was out of this world. I have gotten so many positive comments from my guests that the daal arancini balls were incredible. the flavors of ood, the service and the attention to detail from everyone eas incredible! Exceptional!

When we first discovered IndAroma, we knew that we'd have to have them cater for our wedding reception and most certainly include the lamb chops in the menu. Our obsession with their phenomenal food went to the extent that we shortlisted venues where they had previously worked. No surprises here - it was all that we wished for and more! The team at IndAroma are fantastic. From our tasting with Marissa (who is the sweetest) to the actual event, the food was perfect. Our guests continue to rave about it and mention how rare it is to have such amazing food at a wedding. Reviews from the guests - 7 year old from Toronto: this is the best butter chicken ever. Bride's father: this kulfi is better than the ones in Delhi. Friend of the couple: I don't ever eat red meat but I ate three lamb chops (as did several other guests). Friend from Mumbai: Did you order the desserts from India?
The best part is that we can go back to their restaurant every time we think of our wedding. A big thank you to the team at IndAroma for everything they did to make our celebration the very best!

Best Indian Caterer in DC Area

We first experienced IndAroma when we went to a friend's wedding where they did the catering and it was the best food we had ever had at a wedding. Since we were planning our own wedding we reached out to them to cater ours. From the beginning, the IndAroma staff was amazing. We interacted with both Marissa and Abhishek and they were both very responsive, accommodating, and patient. They answered all of our questions and worked with us to set up the perfect menu for our wedding, even including some things made special by the chef that were not on the official catering menu. For the entire planning process the IndAroma team was incredibly accommodating and helped us work through any bumps in the road that came up. On the day of the event, they pulled together the entire event from setting up tables to serving food and making sure we and our guests had everything we needed. The food itself was absolutely outstanding. We have tried a lot of Indian restaurants in the DC/NOVA area and IndAroma is by far the best we have had. Everyone who attended our wedding is still talking about how good the food was. I would 100% recommend IndAroma to anyone wanting top tier Indian food at their wedding or any other event!

Best food vendor out there

IndaRoma was hands down the best food vendor for our wedding, they were such a pleasure to work with. Not only was the food AMAZING and high quality, but the staff was so accommodating and the experience itself (the tasting, creating our menu, etc) was wonderful. We couldn’t be happier. Our guests enjoyed the food so much, we had rave reviews all throughout!! They also have unique fusion items that were a hit. Although it is a pricey penny to pay, it is worth every bit. Very happy we chose Indaroma as our full service caterer for our wedding in Luray, VA. From the first meeting with Marissa straight through to the big day, we were appreciative of the team's professional communication, attention to details, and flair for festive table decor. On the wedding day, the team arrived early and executed the plan flawlessly, despite a torrential downpour during the ceremony time! Highly recommend the Indo-Mex tacos "live" station. IndAroma - awesome food, awesome service

We had IndAroma cater food for two events in a row! Their food menu items are creative and awesome-tasting! In both events, guests really liked and enjoyed the food. Guests liked the food so much that we were repeatedly asked, 'who catered the food?' - a testimony of their delicious food. The team is a joy to work with - Abishek and Marissa take meticulous care from the start and make sure that every menu item is described in detail and leave no room for any ambiguity whatsoever. The service by Tejaswi and the team was equally awesome! The alacrity with which they serve the food deserves special mention. Overall A+wesome!

IndAroma: incredible experience!

Our wedding was simply elevated by IndAroma. Working with Marissa and the team made the process go so smoothly and they answered all our questions quickly and clearly. The food and service was incredible, and I didn't have to worry about anything with the food and set-up. Incredible team!

Amazing amazing amazing!

Our experience with IndAroma was exceptional start to finish. Meeting with Abhishek and Marissa was great. They were both professional, easy to talk to, and very knowledgeable about Indian food. They were willing to be creative with the choices to make our events truly unique. And let's not forget about the food. Our guests are still talking about the exceptional food that we had at our ceremony lunch, cocktail hour, reception dinner, and farewell brunch. Some top hits include the lamb chops, the samosa puffs, and the cardamom blueberry pancakes. But honestly, anything that comes from IndAroma gets a gold star from us. Hospitality, Food, and More! The best!

Having IndAroma as our caterer was the best decision we made! The food was mind blowing, especially their appetizers and the the way they serve them. Most importantly, the attention to detail and their warm hospitality with special care for the hosts and bride and groom! One very small detail but we cannot forget it, the groom's sister dropped her cutlery and suddenly out of nowhere Marissa was by her side with new cutlery, how awesome was that! Indian Fusion Experience Home Run!

IndAroma Catering stole the 2024 Gala Awards Show with their terrific food and excellent service. We knew we were in good hands, but we didn't know how incredible the partnership would become as we moved through the process. Delicious Food, Attentive Staff, Amazing Experience

We couldn’t have worked with a better caterer for our wedding than IndAroma. We had two big priorities for our reception — dinner and dancing — and IndAroma nailed the dinner! The food was fantastic and the service even better. Marissa was our event manager — she was extremely helpful, responsive and had excellent recommendations based on our tastes and vision for the event. IndAroma provided a coat check attendant, bar tenders, passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a meat and vegetarian-friendly menu for the dinner buffet. The catering team seamlessly organized the buffet so that no one had to wait in line long to get food. IndAroma also kindly cut and served our homemade wedding cake alongside a kulfi live station and a dessert table with a variety of small treats. A very nice touch was how much attention the wait staff paid to the bride and groom during the reception — they made us plates with a little bit of everything so that we got the chance to eat without missing out on time with our guests. They had our backs the entire event, and put out fires before we even had to think about them.

Absolutely unbelievably good modern Indian cuisine

We loved working with IndAroma from the getgo. Having a mixed Indian and Western wedding, we thought we were going to test out several different caterers or divide up the Sangeet and Wedding Day with 1 Indian and 1 Western caterer. But when we had our tasting at IndAroma we were floored! We had them do Indian street food live stations for the Sangeet along with fusion Indo-Mexican and Indo-Chinese stations and the wedding day was more traditional Indian buffet with passed hors d'oeuvres including cucumber sandwiches and dal arancini (to name a few). All our guests raved about the food across the two days IndAroma catered. They were also super communicative and willing to accommodate our requests for specific stationary and place setting items. We loved working with them!

Incredible food at our wedding!

Indaroma provided the food for our wedding day – we can’t recommend them enough! The staff were very responsive to our questions and accommodating in helping us to design and tailor the menu, including after the tasting. And on the wedding day itself, the food was delicious – our guests raved about the buffet during and after the wedding. Excellent Experience with IndAroma!

When we started planning our wedding, we knew that the food at our events was going to be a huge focal point for us. It took us no time at all to agree on IndAroma as the only choice for our reception as we had experienced their catering at several of our friends' weddings.

Amazing food and service - truly an exceptional caterer; perfect for weddings and major events!

We used IndAroma as the caterer for our Sangeet event at our wedding were beyond impressed. From the very beginning, their strong communication during the planning process set them apart. They were attentive, responsive, and accommodating, ensuring every detail was covered.

The IndAroma team was simply amazing. Marissa and Abhishek took care of our every need and were so fun to work with. Not only were they courteous and professional, but they handled the planning so effectively. They helped us navigate creating our menu and incorporating many diverse tastes and cuisines across the various courses. They also helped create custom plates for individual guests with very restrictive dietary restrictions, which showed their strong attention to detail and personal touch.

The highlight, of course, was the food. IndAroma's unique variety of dishes left everyone raving. We received compliments on just about every single item served. IndAroma’s fusion items and live stations were so unique and creative and helped make our event memorable. Throughout our event, what truly stood out was their flawless execution. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and elevated our entire event. And there wasn’t ever a long wait for any of the stations or buffet due to their efficiency and planning.

Amazing food, amazing team!

We chose Indaroma after we had such amazing things from other couples and vendors! We had heard multiple people go to Indaroma weddings and rave about the food. The tasting was such a fun experience and they really helped us figure out what we were looking for, even though we had no direction from the start! We were a Sri Lankan/Indian wedding and they helped try to bring some Sri Lankan flavors to the cuisine as well. Also, hearing multiple venues say about incredible the Indaroma team was to work with made us feel very confident in their organization and responsiveness. Marissa and Abhishek were so nice, thoughtful, and thorough. Both our families loved them and the process with them was so easy. Both my husband and I had not been to many weddings, especially Indian weddings, so they really helped us figure things out while also keeping our budget in mind! We used Indaroma for our wedding reception. We had a Christian/Indian fusion wedding so they supplied the Indian food. Marissa was amazing and was our first contact. We met with her for our tasting and it was obvious that she was passionate about weddings and events as well as Indian food. It was also clear that she knew all of the dishes and details and was able to answer all of our questions. She was also very responsive as we altered the menu from the time of our tasting to our wedding date. The food itself was phenomenal and we had many guests complimenting the dishes. A hidden gem in the catering industry

We had a party and the venue had a preferred list of caterers and so we came to find out about Indaroma. Marissa was my contact and she was amazing. We had our tasting and made changes to the menu and they were very accommodating. Abhishek made suggestions and gave us great advice regarding the food service and even with general catering. My sister in law and I kept saying that “we hope the food will taste as good as the tasting”. Day of event and everything was amazing. The food was perfect, the staff were so pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend Abhishek, Marissa and team. Not only is the catered food great but so is their sit down restaurant - I tried for the first time a few month back as well and it was delicious!! Excellent service

We had a wonderful experience with Indaroma and feel they exceeded our expectations! TJ, Marisa, and Abhishek were easy to work with and ensured their food and service lived up to our expectations! The best wedding caterer. EVER.

If you are lucky enough to book Indaroma you need to thank your stars because your wedding is going to be AMAZING! Our wedding day went flawlessly thanks to the Indaroma team. The food was incredible - had many people tell me it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The logistics...perfect. And most importantly dealing with them was just the most pleasant experience ever. Marissa made us feel like superstars from the tasting all the way to the big day. On the day of the wedding, we encountered some brief but terrible weather. They rallied the staff and cleaned up the mess in a matter of minutes. By the time guests arrived, you wouldn't know the place was in chaos just a few minutes earlier. They are professionals under pressure. They know how to treat people and we just can't thank them enough for making our day so wonderful.

Best catering!!

We are so happy to have worked with IndAroma for our wedding reception. Wonderful food, staff, and service!

IndAroma catered our half-American, half-Indian wedding in June and we could not have chosen a better caterer! Marissa and Abhishek were an absolute joy to work with. Across morning mimosas, lunch, cocktail hour appetizers, and a reception dinner, the two of them helped us match our vision of a hybrid American and Indian menu that all of our guests would love. They suggested items and built a custom menu to what we were looking for.

On the day of the wedding, the IndAroma team kicked in and executed on the event flawlessly. Our guests loved all of the food, each meal went smoothly, and nothing ran out.

Best Catering!!

IndAroma is hands down the best catering service. We recently got married and could not have imagined our big day being so successful without IndAroma‘s help. From food tasting to the day of the event, they did not miss a single detail. The food was PHENOMENAL and all of our guests have reached out saying that it was the best Indian food they have ever had at a wedding. Aside from the food, we also used IndAroma as our full service (chair and table rentals, linens, dinnerware, full staff coverage, etc.). Every single thing was carried out so efficiently. The staff was amazing and their customer service was beyond exceptional!!! They took such good care of us and made sure we always had what we needed. We also had our event on a very rainy day with multiple things that were planned to be outside. Incredible Customer Service and Delicious Food

We had an amazing experience working with IndAroma. We enjoyed two separate tastings as the Groom’s family could not attend our first tasting. IndAroma provided us with several excellent south Indian and north Indian cuisine options for all our events and customized the dishes to our taste. IndAroma was amazingly delicious!

We hired IndAroma for our wedding reception. Marissa and her team took care of us from the very beginning with the tasting and then carefully crafting a menu from cocktail hour to the reception. So amazing!

We catered through IndAroma for our wedding and their food was INCREDIBLE! The taste, presentation, and menu options were amazing! Guests are still raving about the food!

Booking IndAroma as the caterer for all our wedding events was the BEST decision we made. In a desi wedding, if the food doesn't hit the spot, then you know it can make or break your wedding. We STILL have guests complimenting us on how good our food was at our events. Our parents are included in this group and they are tough to please! One guest even said "I was so mad I was getting full, because I wanted to keep eating more!"

The unique options on the menu allowed us to have an assortment like no other. Furthermore, IndAroma made items for us that they don't even have on the menu, and still nailed it! I had asked for a classic Raj Kachori as a chaat option because it's what I love to eat in New Delhi. I've tasted this at other weddings, but other caterers always make it too hard to eat. I hadn't tried it at the tasting, but on the day of my Mehndi night it was amazing.

IndAroma's was also very professional during tastings and coordination overall. We had a few back and forth interactions when finalizing the menus and they were extremely responsive and updated our selections right away. We even had guests let us know how nice and helpful they were at our wedding. Furthermore, they were very accommodating during our tastings. Our parents were very happy with the service and food, but in true parent fashion, also very skeptical with what the outcome would be on the day of the events. Even they admitted that the tastings were just like what we were served on the event days! Booking them was definitely a huge win for us, and we are so grateful that we were able to having them enhance our wedding festivities!

Stole the show!

Abhishek, Marissa and team are the best in the business. The food is still being talked about by all of our guests and we're still thinking about our experience working with them. They are so flexible, happy to incorporate family traditions, think of every little thing and we so professional throughout the experience. Our families were in awe when the team ensured that my husband and I, along with family on both sides were always looked after by the staff and they made sure we ate and were happy the whole time. Delicious Food, Friendly Staff, Something for Everyone!

IndAroma was a pleasure to work with, from setting up the first meeting to talk about the ideas for our event, to the initial tasting, to working with us during the pandemic to reschedule two times! Abhishek, Marissa, and everyone part of their crew were so friendly and insightful in helping us determine how much food to order, what options to go with, and how to present/serve the food.

We had a mix of Indian/non-Indian guests and one non-Indian guest commented that this was the first time they were able to eat food at an "Indian event" because things weren't super saucy, spicy, or oily! A few guests even took down the catering info for their upcoming events.

The food was absolutely delicious! Our guests loved the am palak chat live station during our cocktail hour, all the main dishes (lamb Roghan josh, chicken tikka, sham savera), the sides, salads, and the sorbet desert was a fantastic ending to a hot July party!

IndAroma was very competitively priced, and in terms of quality, they are the best around! For quality Indian food for an event, look no further! You will not get better tasting food from a more knowledgeable and friendly caterer!

IndAroma knocked it out the park

We got IndAroma for our Sangeet and the food was beyond delicious! The process from our initial consultation until the day of our event was extremely seamless. Abhishek really helped us with our initial consultation call and Marissa was there to guide us with each item during our tasting. They were amazing to work with and were very responsive to us and our venue. We still have guests talking about our food. Everything was great, but the Indomexican live station and the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake (GJC) are on another level. We highly recommend you go with them and book them in advance!

We love IndAroma!

From the moment my fiancé and I sat down in the restaurant to have our taste test, we knew IndAroma was the caterer for us! The food was amazing and Marissa, the Event Manager, answered all of our questions and made us feel so comfortable. We knew that we would be in good hands with the IndAroma team and decided to book them for our wedding. And we were right! Throughout the planning process, Marissa continued to answer our many questions promptly and made us feel so calm about the day. Abhishek was also instrumental in making us feel calm and was flexible in allowing us to drop our guest count by 50 people when circumstances made it impossible for those guests to attend. My fiancé has an allergy and we felt that IndAroma was very accommodating and serious about avoiding cross contamination. The IndAroma team also made my mother a plate that was different from our wedding menu to accommodate her new food sensitivities. Our wedding day was perfect and I cannot thank the IndAroma team enough for all that they did for us! My fiancé and I are now frequent visitors of the restaurant- we can’t get over how amazing their food is!

Amazing food and friendly staff

The main things we looked for in a caterer were amazing food and solid communication. IndAroma knocked both out of the park. The food was absolutely spectacular - some of the best Indian food we've ever had. Several of our guests (Indian and non-Indian) asked for the contact information for IndAroma because they wanted to visit their brick and mortar restaurant in Alexandria. We had so much trouble narrowing down our menu because everything we tried was so delicious. The baingan bharta, shaam savera, and butter chicken were especially delicious. Once we selected IndAroma, Marissa and the rest of the team were a delight to work with - friendly, communicative, and offered great advice for how to optimize our menu within our budget. Outstanding Indian food, stress-free planning and implementation

Indaroma had catered the food for my daughter’s reception on July 2, 2022. The whole experience, from planning the menu, followed by the tasting, and finally the event itself could not have been more positive and stress-free.
Marissa helped us plan the tasting menu over a couple of zoom sessions and put us at ease, offering suggestions about the appetizers, entrees and the desserts. She then set up the tasting of the shortlisted items at the Indaroma restaurant in Alexandria. During the tasting Marissa and Abhishek patiently answered our many questions about the menu items, and helped us finalize the menu.
At the event the Indaroma staff, under Marissa’s supervision, did an excellent job in serving up the appetizers and the drinks, followed by the dinner entrees. For the appetizers, we chose the Chaat live station, Gobi Manchurian, Chicken 65, Bhelpuri in cones, and Lamb Shami kabab. The dinner entrees were Dal Makhani, Paneer Makhani, Tawa Vegetables, Dhaba Chicken and Kadhai Lamb. All the items were delicious, with the Tawa Vegetables, Dhaba chicken and Kadhai Lamb being outstanding. Our friends could not stop raving about how good the food was.
I would definitely recommend Indaroma to anyone looking for a caterer that provides excellent Indian food for a large party.

Truly the best in the business

Indaroma catered our wedding, and we simply couldn't have imagined the quality of food, service, professionalism, and general loveliness. Incredible, faultless, delicious, amazing

We would give IndAroma 25 stars out of 5 if we could. Absolutely everything about Abhishek, Marissa, and their team's service, food, and overall assistance was above and beyond all reasonable expectations. Let me count the ways. Their chef tried out my mother in law's recipe to make sure the taste of the biryani was perfect. No charge. They actually walked through the first cost estimate line by line with us and gave specific advice on where we could reduce cost, including suggesting specific affordable products we could buy to replace their provided cutlery, dishware, and linens. Yes, you read that right, they eagerly and actively took time and money out of their own bottom line to better support us. When we proposed bringing one or two items from another caterer in order to offer one dish outside of their menu, they enthusiastically agreed to serve it and clean it up. On the day of, Marissa was more akin to an event organizer than merely a catering lead. And somehow I'm compiling a list of rave reviews even before mentioning the food, which was simply spectacular. The tame palates of the Midwesterners and the bold palates of the Deshis in attendance all devoured and complimented the appetizers, drinks, and buffet we put together. IndAroma also had a creative pricing approach where we weren't charged by the dish but rather by the headcount. This meant they were happy to prepare more dishes (for more variety) in just slightly smaller portions all at the same cost. Thank you so so so much, IndAroma team, we feel so impossibly lucky to have been able to work with you on the best night of our lives, and you played such an important role in it. Exceptional Food and Professionalism

We chose IndAroma because when we went for the tastings we felt they were very innovative with their dishes. We thought the food was excellent, but they also had a flair of creating excitement around the food. Marissa would introduce us to unique food combinations and helped us create a memorable menu. During the tastings she went out of her way to make sure we tasted all the flavor and drink combinations so that the actual Sangeet would reflect our preferences and vision. Marissa truly treated out daughter’s Sangeet as if it was her own.
All I can say is that we got so much more than delicious food for my daughter’s Sangeet. During the Sangeet Marissa was an outstanding hostess. She not only made sure the Bride and Groom were fed, but she also made sure that the Senior members of the party had enough to eat. I cannot say enough good things about IndAroma and their professionalism.

Amazing Food, Incredible Staff, Top Notch All the Way Around!

When every guest is asking, “Who made the delicious food?” you know you’ve got a wonder of a caterer. Marissa at Indaroma was considerate, detail oriented, and an integral part of our wedding reception. She went over and beyond to provide us with service that impressed not only our family, but all of our guests. We could not have imagined the myriad of details involved with hosting a wedding dinner, but we never had to worry because Marissa had already considered it and made things happen.

Kudos also to Merlin, who fixed a vacuum cleaner at the church that had been broken for years. He and his staff worked meticulously to set up beautifully, serve the food, and then clean up—staying until the very end. Wow! What a great team!

Our family has always loved Indaroma the restaurant, but we wish we could host more weddings just to experience their catering services again! Ten stars all around.

Easy to work with, excellent food

IndAroma was an amazing full-service caterer for our wedding! The food was delicious (we had passed appetizers and a buffet) and we received multiple rave reviews from our guests. We were looking for a fully vegetarian menu with multiple vegan options, and in addition to having a lot of excellent choices already on their menu, they went out of their way to veganize other items and adjust spice levels as requested. Plus the tasting process was easy, helpful, delicious, and reasonably priced.
The catering team was flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. They let us bring in outside desserts and drinks/alcohol, which they served. We occasionally had to double check details that we wanted, but they always responded quickly and resolved any issues.

Amazing catering services for our multicultural wedding -- highly recommend!

IndAroma provided excellent food and bar service for our multi-cultural wedding in Charlottesville, VA. We worked with them over several years, as we had several postponements due to COVID, and IndAroma ensured that our menu was well-balanced and all special requests were met. We made several adjustments to the menu along the way and the chef even allowed my mother to request item modifications to truly make the dishes traditional and special, even for those guests who were not very familiar with South Asian cuisine. The team truly went above and beyond, and we received so many compliments from our guests about the food and drinks at our wedding. Great food and great service

Our guests universally praised the food and kept going back for seconds and thirds! As bride and groom, we were not able to try out each item but we loved everything we tried, especially the appetizers.
Because our previous caterer cancelled at the last minute, my parents were in a bind but IndoAroma was able to organize a tasting ~3 weeks before the event and executed perfectly on the night of.

Amazing food

Whenever I am in the DC area, I make sure that I eat at IndAroma. So when I decided to get married in Shenandoah Valley, I definitely wanted to get food catered from them.

IndAroma prepared everything, from appetizers to main course to dessert for my wedding. I worked with Marissa on getting the order and the details finalized. The BEST Indian food/ catering of all time

Wedding food is very important to me. If the food is bad at your wedding it’s super disappointing. But if the food is beyond spectacular then not only will your guests enjoy and remember it but you will have no worries the day of your wedding. Indaroma was hands down the best Indian caterer of all time, and I mean that coming from someone in the industry and has worked with a lot of caterers. They were punctual, professional, kind, and above all the food was perfection. They listened to our adjustments during the tasting and executed a meal to remember. Guests of our wedding still come up to us saying how much they enjoy the food and how unique the experience was. I can not stress how professional they were as well. Best service! Quality food and professionalism

Wow!! Through out my wedding night, I heard how amazing the food was. It’s hard to please everyone when you have a mixed
Culture but it was delicious and everyone loved it. IndAroma is amazing in service and food

IndAroma is amazing in terms of service and food. We have mixed guests with 50% being Indian and the others are mostly American. IndAroma accommodated both through their innovative menu choices. Abhishek and Marissa are awesome from beginning responding to our inquiries and questions quickly and in detail and working with us when we had to postpone our event due to COVID. Marissa explained every item at the tasting and provided options for us to select from. When the day came, they were on time and very efficient and their service is outstanding. Every guest LOVED the food and came to inquire about who the caterer was. The tandoori shrimp at the cocktails is out of this world (pun intended) and every item at dinner is just right and the Gulabjamun cheesecake is amazing. We highly recommend them for your wedding or any other event and will absolutely be using them again in the future!

The best caterers in the DMV!

We first met Abhishek & Marissa at our wedding food tasting session. Abhishek took the time to sit down with us and explain each course which was uniquely detailed per our requests and he truly went above expectations. Marissa was very knowledgeable and helped formulate the final menu in addition to accommodating us with changes as we neared the main event. The food was excellent & loved by each and every guest with numerous compliments given to us throughout the evening. Indaroma is extremely professional and they made sure that our guests enjoyed fresh & hot food per our request. Fantastic food and experience

Indaroma crushed our covid wedding. Way back in Spring 2019 we chose to get married in November 2020. We are not Indian, but we love Indian food and wanted to give our guests something memorable rather than the usual meat, chicken and vegetarian option, so we decided to look for Indian food caterers. Flash forward to Spring 2020 and the world is crap, but Indaroma takes us through a delightful tasting. We were pushing forward with our wedding, but knew this covid crap wasn't going away, so we signed up for contract that allowed us flexibility in the event we were forced to reschedule our event. Flash forward to October 2020, and we had to pull the plug on our 170 person wedding. Indaroma was completely understanding and totally accommodating. We planned a new wedding for July 2021, and Indaroma delivered. The food was simply fantastic. The dishes were memorable and delicious. We would highly recommend.

Hiring Indaroma as our caterer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The tasting experience was phenomenal and the team was very receptive to our requests and feedback. Throughout the weeks leading up to our wedding, Marissa, our event manager, was checking in on us and always responsive. We got SO many compliments on the delicious food at both our cocktail hour and reception. IndAroma - Very Highly Recommend

IndAroma came highly recommended to us from multiple venues. We had a fusion wedding (my husband is Indian and I am Taiwanese), so we were hoping to incorporate foods from both cultures/cuisines. We are so happy that we found IndAroma. They were so kind and so open to working with us to create the menu that we envisioned. They had me send recipes for the non-Indian dishes that I was hoping to have at our wedding. Their chef then prepared the dishes for us to try and allowed us to provide feedback for any changes that we’d like to make based on how it tasted to us. Everything turned out so great. IndAroma, Abishek. and his team. were integral in making our wedding a fantastic day for ourselves and our guests.

The entire process of sampling the food at their base restaurant, making specific adjustments, and executing on everything we wanted was great. IndAroma is very detailed and doesn't miss a beat with anything you need. Our families were extremely impressed not only with the food (it is absolutely delicious) but the efficiency and attention to detail.

We also procured many other items that IndAroma offers, such as tables and other support items, which they also delivered on completely and without issue.

Amazing food!!

I cannot say enough about Abhishek and his team at IndAroma! From the tastings to the 2nd tasting to the wedding weekend, the process was smooth and easy. He accommodated all of our little concerns and requests and helped guide us from his experience. Our guests could not stop RAVING about the food all weekend!! Even amidst the chaos of the wedding, my husband and I actually got to enjoy the food and so glad we did! We didn't even know it, but during the garba we had hakka noodles as part of a indo-chinese station, and they served it in mini chinese containers which I thought was such a unique idea!!

Our favorite vendor from our entire multi-day event wedding

IndAroma was by far our favorite vendor. I give five stars for all the basics: professionalism, great tasting experience, execution, taste of the food. BUT, I really want to point out what made them unique: Abhishek was one of the few DC area vendors that didn't judge us for what our wedding budget was. I was sick of vendors gouging us for money. With Abhishek, his pricing was fair from the initial meeting (we had many vendors give us absurd initial prices and then "lower" it after negotiating). There were no surprise last-week additions to the quote (I had two vendors do that to me). When our quote went over our budget, he helped us curate it so what we would feel comfortable with the menu and it's price. All responses from his coordinator, Marissa, were polite, and incredibly punctual even though our event was on a major 3-day wedding weekend. If you hate that empty feeling you get after a vendor hands you a quote for your event, I highly suggest booking IndAroma because it is truly a breath of fresh air. We felt like we had a friend the entire time - one time we went to their restaurant just for lunch since we were in the area and Marissa recognized us from the security camera and she came out just to chat with us and say hi. They are just great people who are actually passionate about being caterers.

We did a couple of food tastings at various Indian restaurants before we found Indaroma. As soon as we met with the staff and did the tasting with them, we knew we had found an exceptional catering company. Their professionalism and dedication to quality sets them apart from their competitors. Although they are not the cheapest Indian caterers in the area, you really get what you pay for with the quality of the food, presentation and professionalism of the staff.

We had around 400 people attend our wedding, and many guests expressed how much they enjoyed the food from Indaroma. Some of them even visited their local restaurant later. One of the most popular items for the night was the gulab jamun cheesecake, we highly recommend it!

Indorama puts a lot of energy and commitment into their work, and it shows on the results you get from them. We can confidently recommend them for your catering needs.

IndAroma was everything we had hoped for in a caterer. Words cannot explain how amazing the IndAroma team was from start to finish and through our entire wedding process from the extensive, thorough, and DELICIOUS tasting to our final reception menu on the big wedding day. Abhishek and his team were wonderful!!

They were always there for us and were always responsive and attentive to our vision and needs. They never failed to return our phone calls or respond to our emails. Abhishek, the busy man he is, was always there when I personally needed to speak to him to ease my worries about the wedding day and menu. He was also available via phone/text/email and always looked out for our best interest. He always gave us the best recommendations for our menu and did not overdo it. He catered to our guests needs and dietary restrictions. He was also great with both of our families and eased their worries in terms of the menu selection.

Our guests loved our cocktail hour menu and dinner was also a hit. Indaroma’s desserts were also just as amazing and our guests still talk about our dessert selection.

Abhishek also gave advice on certain other aspects of the wedding outside his expertise. More importantly, him and his staff were beyond professional and kind.

Again, like I said, words can’t explain the service that IndAroma provided. The level of professionalism, availability, and attention to detail was exceptional.

I, myself, am super Type A and cared a lot about details and strive for perfection, so IndAroma was there for me and my wife. And believe me, I ASK A LOT of questions. Abhishek was very patient with me and reassured my wife and I with the catering process and the menu items.

In short, I recommend IndAroma to be any future bride/groom’s caterer. I recommend their catering services without any reservations. If we were to do it all over again, we’d pick them as our caterer again. Their menu is exceptional and their flavors are tasteful, unique, and traditional but with a modern twist!

Five Stars From Start to Finish- Absolute Perfection!

Indaroma catered our parent's 50th anniversary party (about 100 guests). From the initial consultation until the end of the event, their professionalism and dedication to perfection was evident, and the culinary experience truly delighted everyone who attended (no easy feat when serving Indian dishes to Indian guests, who know great desi food!). Their catering/event staff, Marissa and Tejasvi, were an absolute pleasure to work with, and Abhishek was superb in helping us understand what we would need to make the event successful. We had high expectations, and Indaroma's team exceeded them at every turn. We recommend them without reservation for any event, and look forward to having them cater events for us in the future. You really can't find better Indian food in the DC Metro area...not to mention that the owner and staff are incredibly kind people, who are very easy to work with. You won't be disappointed if you cater with them!

Amazing service

From the beginning, Indaroma was nothing short of amazing. When I had my initial consultation I knew right away I wanted to go with them. They take pride in their work which really goes a long way. Marrisa and Abhishek always answered my questions promptly and thoroughly and were super accommodating. On the day of my wedding, Indaroma was the first vendor to arrive at my temple at 5:30 in the morning to get things set up and started. They go above and beyond and really make your event feel special! Thank you Marrisa and Abhishek for all that you did for us!

I would like to thank the enitre IndAroma team but in particular Marissa and Abhishek. They were very detail orientated and were very accommodating to all our requests. They took careful notes and adjusted the taste to our liking. They were very knowledgeable in their field and were able to help us with suggestions to add things where it made sense and remove items where they felt it was not necessary.
The final result was to our expectations and their service was exceptional.

Working with IndoRama has been more than a positive experience. The staff was kind and understanding.

IndoRama made each one of our event special by providing excellent food and caring service. My family and I are especially grateful to them for attending to guests who came from all over the world to attend my daughter’s wedding. Delicious food, fantastic team

Abhishek and his team were so incredibly on top of everything - we needed full service for our wedding (servers, bartenders, linens, etc.) and they provided in such a professional manner. Also, obviously, the food is delicious - I've been getting compliments from hard-to-please aunties and uncles since the wedding. Highly recommend IndAroma for any event! (Their cafe in Alexandria is great too!)

Amazing caterer - highly recommend!

Indaroma was so helpful and flexible during our selection process. They took the time to explain their menu to us and also recommend the best food options given our wedding theme. Overall, the food was amazing - our guests and family couldn't stop raving about the appetizers and the main entrees selected for our buffet. The Mango lassi and Gulab Jamun cheesecake were absolute crowd pleasers! They were very generous with our need for multiple tastings and looked after us like we were family. Even incredibly flexible with the payments given our uncertainty with our visa situation! Very rare group of people. Would highly recommend them for any special occasion! A huge thank you to Marissa and Abhishek for all their help!

Wonderful!

IndAroma catered our wedding and did a fantastic job. The food was tasty and beautifully presented (the aam-palak chaat is amazing; I’d still like to know how they get the spinach leaves so crispy). They made adjustments to dishes when we requested them, and we were able to try everything both during a tasting and at their restaurant (which we now eat at regularly). The quality of service was amazing!

Abhishek and Marissa were a pleasure to work with all the way from the planning stages to the day-of. They are very knowledgeable about what will and won’t work and really lessened the planning stress with their sense of humor and wisdom. Marissa surprised us with some thoughtful touches on the wedding day, like bringing appetizers and dinner to us and making sure we always had a drink. If she hadn’t, we’d probably have gone hungry as it was impossible to move without talking to friends and family!

We would highly recommend for their amazing service and food!

Excellent Catering Service

The team at IndAroma did a wonderful job of catering for us in the reception party of about 120 people at the Carnegie Institute of Science. They took care of everything, were well on time and provided a great feast which all our guests praised profusely. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending IndAroma to anyone who is looking for a good catering service for their parties.

Exceptional in Every Way

It would be impossible to adequately describe how perfect our experience with IndAroma was. Their excellent staff worked with us to craft our perfect menu - which for us was a variety of unique indian fusion dishes (they were happy to go all vegetarian for us, although they do have meat options as well). The food was so good that our photographer actually wrote us a hand written letter a few weeks after to tell us how amazing everything was.

Awesome team!

Extremely courteous, professional and pleasant owner (Abhishek), staff and manager. They were recommended by other friends and we did not even talk to any other Indian food caterers for our Sangeet wedding event. The food was exceptional. Our guests were raving about the food and the presentation. Their professionalism gets 11/10 from me!
As the mother of the groom (our event) I was running around the entire evening, Marissa, the catering manager for the evening, came to me several times to make sure I had food and something to drink! Service with a smile. Look no further if you want good Indian food and exceptional service.
