Great DJ, Karaoke and decor!

They worked very well with our venue Camarillo ranch house. They did the drapery, lighting. DJ, and we did a karaoke add on which was a hit and well incorporated into the night.

Our DJ Brian did a great job of mixing the songs, weaving in the karaoke, keeping it lively, taking on the spot cues from us when the first dance song we chose started to feel a little long, and did a great job checking in with us and incorporating our favorite songs into the night.

DJ Brian Hit the Mark at Our Star Wars-Themed Wedding

DJ Brian elevated our Star Wars-themed wedding to epic proportions! Despite our intimate gathering of 40 guests, his music selection and lighting set the perfect atmosphere. Catering to guests of all ages, DJ Brian ensured everyone was on the dance floor. He flawlessly incorporated our favorite tracks, including Jungle and Post Malone, and even delighted my husband with some Star Wars mixes. DJ Brian truly brought our dream wedding to life, and we're incredibly grateful for his talent and expertise.

Awesome DJ!!

Loved working with DJ Sota!! Our wedding party came to dance and he made sure they never left the dance floor (it was an important part of our wedding day!). We were from out of town, but he took the time to do a telephone call a few days before to finalize our requests -everything came together perfectly!

Wonderful experience!

In The Mix did a beautiful job lighting our wedding reception. They have worked at the venue many times in the past and were great about giving suggestions of what we would need, and I never felt like they were trying to up-sell us on anything. Highly recommend!

Wedding of our dreams

My husband and I got married at the beautiful San Buenaventura Mission and had our reception in the O'Brian Hall. It was a great location, but the hall itself was very dull. We met with Tim and he could not have been more nice or sincere. Luckily for us, and since he's the best in the area, he had done several weddings at the venue. So he started showing up photos of what he had done previously. It was so nice to see the hall transformed and we added a few different touches, which elevated the look even more, but didn't break our budget.

When we arrived for our wedding, the hall didn't even look like the same place. Tim and his team completely transformed the space and made it look absolutely incredible. It was truly the wedding of our dreams and it looked so beautiful. We are so grateful to Tim for working with us. He answered every email (there were a lot), and he always had such great ideas. Tim was always willing to work with us also and even gave us advice on other vendors.

The service was incredible and the result was truly magical. Thank you!!!

Lighting and draping for ceremony

In the mix events is wonderful! I hired them as one of my first vendors to do the draping for my Huppah. I wanted a very specific pink and they were so flexible and awesome. I was able to buy the exact color I wanted myself and they gave me the dimensions I needed and were able to hang it for me and it looked GORGEOUS( I was not charged an extra fee for bringing my own draping). Instead of doing what is usually done they totally custom made the huppah for me- draping all 4 columns of my ceremony site and even adding a top piece. They hung the draping without having to pipe anything( which is something I desperately wanted to avoid), they also did my pin lights which added such an elegant touch to the ballroom. I also have to give them major props because unlike most vendors their lights have magnets that attach to the ceiling so they don’t have to place these HUGE awkward poles in your ballroom!

Kevin the DJ provided STELLAR music and entertainment for our surprise 25th anniversary.

He accepted almost every song request and stuck with the 80s music theme.

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G - We used In The Mix for both lighting and DJ services. First off, the lighting set the perfect fun and romantic mood we hoped for. It was absolutely everything we imagined. We got married in a barn and the lighting was the perfect touch to our rustic feel. Can we just say we ended the night with MOST of our guests still on the dance floor. These guys kept everyone dancing and involved the entire night. We spent a lot of time making our wedding a reality and the last thing we wanted was for people to be bored or leave early. Thanks to Tim and his team, we were able to celebrate the entire night with almost all of our guests. They did our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, dinner music and party music. They were timely, no mistakes and everything we could have asked for! We HIGHLY recommend In The Mix and will absolutely be using their services for any other events we may have! THANK YOU!

In the Mix is the best DJ/MC, lighting, and photo booth company in VC! I have worked with In the Mix as a wedding coordinator for many years. I have always appreciated how Tim and his team got guests on the dance floor, and could keep any timeline flowing perfectly. I knew I had to hire this great group for our wedding!
The DJ kept our dance floor packed all night - even through some crazier song requests (such as Nine Inch Nails.) And outside of our groups requests, he had a great selection and completely understood the music our guests enjoyed.
My husband appreciated how Tim made the evening about us and our guests, and never about himself. Tim is not cheesy or phony; he’s funny, upbeat, and genuine. He truly brings life to any event!
In the Mix did our lighting as well. They completely transformed our beautifully dark venue with gorgeous custom uplights that matched our colors perfectly.
We also added In the Pix to our package- the photo booth side of the In the Mix business. The lady working the photo booth had fun with our guests, and helped them feel comfortable by helping them pick out fun photo booth props. She was a delightful addition to our vendor team! There is no other place to go for all of your event/wedding needs! Thank you In the Mix for a very memorable evening that we will cherish and remember for the rest of our lives!!

I have been in the wedding industry for 15+ years and when my daughter announced her engagement, I knew Tim of In the Mix Events was who we wanted to MC and DJ her wedding. I have seen many DJ's over the years and they are not all created equal. Tim and his staff are all amazing. The wedding was at the Calamigos Pavilion and Tim made the entire evening run smoothly. He also supplied the Photo Booth complete with props and photo album which was so fun for all the guests. We had so many great comments about Tim from the guests. Kevin was our DJ from In The Mix and he was awesome! We met with him before the wedding and he was able to give us some good advice and answer a lot of questions. Being a professional in the wedding industry for over 10 years, my standards are pretty high and let me say that we hired THE BEST! Oh my goodness, I could rave for days over our thrill with In The Mix. They made our every dream and vision a reality and beyond. We utilized just about all their services: DJ (Kevin = superb), lighting and Photo Booth. The DJ totally clicked with our vibe and played THE BEST MUSIC. And he didn't just play music, he had to time fading in/out of dances and other specifics. He nailed all of our requests. Additionally, our venue was not the easiest to navigate and required setting up music in 3 separate areas. ITM seamlessly succeeded here as well. The photo booth was an absolute hoot! Being a wedding photographer it brought me comfort knowing that there was another way to assure all of our guests being documented. It's also a nice "gift" for guests. Then the lighting. Oh my geez! Again, I had a specific vision for the downstairs portion of the reception. I wanted to turn a bare space into a speak easy, Gatsby style. Our venue was very strict and I had my concerns as to whether or not we'd pull it off and sure enough Tim (the owner) was there overseeing and hanging from ladders to make sure all was done with perfection and artistry. It was absolutely magnificent! I was so blown away and so were our guests. No one could believe that we started from scratch! Aside from all of this the owner has the biggest heart and the greatest personality. I'm somewhat sad that this experience is over, but now there are photos to look forward to! I don’t think I can say enough about Tim and In The Mix. If you’re looking at them for any of their services, do yourself a favor and book today! Our February 2018 wedding was at the Camarillo Ranch, and we used In The Mix for lighting, DJ/MC, and photobooth, and were beyond pleased with all 3. Our guests couldn’t say enough how beautiful and perfect the lights were, and had so much fun with the photobooth. (the girls working at the photobooth were fantastic by the way!) But by far Tim and his partner in DJing were outstanding. Before the big day Tim walked us through everything, making sure no detail was left out. And checked in periodically to make sure we had anything we may have been missing. Come the day of, we had A LOT of unexpected things come up that requested quick changes and movement on the part of the DJ. Needless to say, they were kind and professional and if I didn’t already know they were last minute changes, I would have had no idea. They transitioned so smoothly and made it seem like it was all part of the plan the whole time. We are so thankful to Tim and In The Mix for making our special day the success that it was! We couldn’t have had a better time, or thank you enough!

Tim at In the Mix was recommended to us by our rentals company, Conejo Rental Center, because they don't do bistro lighting. Tim came out for a site visit and gave us several great options that were exactly what we wanted; he was professional and felt more like a family friend than a business partner. Additionally, Jessa on the phone was sweet and efficient with invoicing.

Tim and his team really impressed me; they've worked with Conejo Rentals before and coordinated with each other behind the scenes so it was all taken care of without me having to lift a finger or worry about it. There was no issue when they needed to hang the lights in a canopy last minute instead of stringing from poles and it just happened without me having to be involved. I also decided I wanted drapery for the ceremony after the site visit, and Tim used just the photos he had taken to bring perfectly sized beautiful white sheeting. This guy really knows what he's doing.

So happy we went with them, they made it stress free and beautiful!

Everyone at In the Mix was a pleasure to work with. I was planning my wedding from out of state and Tim was able to hop on a call and walk through all the details with me. They have a great client portal where you can plan all of your special songs which I thought was a great way to stay organized. Everything was set up and ready to go well before guests arrived. My bistro lights and uplighting looked beautiful! They put a mic on my husband and our pastor so no one had to worry about holding a microphone during the ceremony. Kevin, our DJ was great! The dance floor was never empty. Very pleased with everyone involved.

Tim and the crew at In The Mix are awesome!! We hired them for the lighting at my son and daughter in laws outdoor wedding in Ojai. Even when rained threatened the event and we had to put up a huge tent which totally changed the layout for the lighting, they handled it with ease and the wedding was beautiful!!! We found In The Mix at a wedding expo almost a year before our wedding date for our photo booth and then met with Tim a few months later to book for our ceremony sound, reception music and DJ and lighting. We also had booked a lot more decorations and lighting but as many of you know, weddings add up and we had to cancel a few things. Tim and his team were very nice about all the downgrades we needed to make to hit our budget.
Come the day of the wedding our ceremony sound was perfect and our reception was a PARTY! Tim knows how to keep the crowd going without being that annoying DJ that makes it seem like a club instead of a wedding.
I would highly recommend In The Mix Events to anyone with an upcoming wedding, Tim and his team really made this part of wedding planning stress free.

From the beginning my experience was easy. Renee was super helpful and very nice. Amazing customer service. I just had my wedding on July 10 and Tim and his assistant that night we're AMAZING. Every single guest said how fun the music was and what a great time they had dancing. Tim was great with queuing up my song to go down the aisle.

Kevin was our MC for the night (and he had another person with him as the DJ but I didn't catch his name) and we could not have been happier. My husband is Mexican American and I am white so we were somewhat nervous about how the music and David would work to make sure everyone was having fun and felt included. Well, we had nothing to worry about with Kevin! He did a fantastic job and the (pretty large) dance floor was from the moment dancing started. He met with us for s couple hours during the planning process to get our vision and then we emailed with him fight before he wedding. He was very Wachovia with us ssn when we ha flash minute changes and the wedding felt seamless because of him. You will not be disappointed if you. Choose In the Mix Events!!

We were very happy with our choice in choosing In the Mix Events for our lighting! They did a great job. Lights were set up exactly how I had imagined. I frequently talked to Renee, who was very helpful and also responded very quickly to my emails and phone calls. We got the basic package, which was plenty for our outdoor venue at Limoneira Ranch and added the wash lighting (which we highly recommend because it made it so much easier for guests to see where they were walking). We would definitely recommend In the Mix Events for any event that needs lighting! :)

From start to finish Tim, Renee, and Scott were so phenomenal to work with! Our Dj/EmCee, Scott, did music for our ceremony and DJ'ed our reception. It was comforting to have full trust in Scott with such an important job. He made us feel very taken care of from our first meeting to our last dance. The ceremony was seamless! After going back and forth with different ceremony equpiment, we decided to go with In-the-mixx's electronic's (mic's, speakers, etc.) and I am so glad we did -- it is the best out there and the sound was perfect for our outdoor wedding. And the music was flawlessly timed. Our reception was or course SO FUN and Scott made everything so fun and entertaining without being overbearing. He got all our guests involved and got the party started from the very beginning. All in all, we could not have asked for a better expereince and are forever grateful to everyone at In-the-Mixx for providing us such an incredible service!

Tim and Renee from In the Mix were amazing! From day one, we felt very comfortable hiring them and they didn't disappoint! Their communication throughout our planning process was excellent, and Tim was very patient when I got a little picky with our music choices :) Day-of, Tim was our MC and he was exactly what we wanted - not corny, not obnoxious, and certainly very organized. He helped to manage our schedule amongst a wedding guest list of nearly 200 people, and he certainly kept the party going all night. We had complete trust for him and it helped make our wedding day everything we hoped for! Definitely will recommend this team to friends! In terms of lighting, we rented a rustic-looking grapevine chandelier and it hung over our sweetheart table area. It was beautiful! Hung well, and blended great with the decor. We also got the lighting for a great price!

Tim and In The Mix is amazing! We used them for lighting up our wedding venue with really cool drip lights, string lights, and more and we are so happy with the company and highly recommend them. Everyone at In The Mix was really nice, professional, and really helped us create a gorgeous fairy tale setting for our wedding. They came early to set up and tested everything multiple times. Tim also met with us late at night one night at the venue to make sure we got the lighting perfect, really A+ service and professionalism. Highly recommend, everything was perfect at the wedding and our guests commented that the lighting really was magical!!!

My husband and I met Tim at In The Mix Events at a local bridal premier. We knew when we met him that he had to be our DJ for our wedding. During our first consult, he asked us what was most important to us on our special day...which was planning our first dance at sunset which was projected to be at 8:12PM :-) . He then provided some guidance and access to a really cool personal website with a to-the-second count down to our big day! During our second consult, we provided him with our wishes and then he transformed our notes to the perfect timeline. The day of, Tim coordinated our music for the ceremony, then cocktail hour and then transition to the reception. He was very in-tune to our guests and ultimately played the best music all night long. And yes, Tim & our photographer worked hand-in-hand to make sure we enjoyed our first dance to the most spectacular sunset we have ever seen!!! We would highly recommend Tim and In the Mix Events to anyone looking for a professional & fun DJ. Thank you!

I was extremely happy with my choice of using In The Mix Events for my daughter's wedding. They were easy to work with, reasonably priced and very responsive to my needs and concerns. Kevin, our DJ, was amazing as he coordinated everything according to plan, and was extremely pleasant and professional and worked well with the crowd. I would definitely use them again! We got good reviews from our guests as well! That is why rate them a 5 of 5 stars!!

If you want the best wedding DJ at your reception, then look no further! Tim and the gang at In the Mix were outstanding to work with from day one. Tim has a wealth of knowledge regarding weddings and wedding receptions- he really should add wedding planner to his resume! Our dance floor was never empty- ever! Tim has a way of combining your music preferences with music that will keep your guests of all ages on the dance floor. His advice for the timing of the whole evening was spot on. Tim also helped us out with a unique request- you should ask him about our Cake Smashing Contest- it was a much better alternative to the typical money dance... and Tim brought the contest to a whole other level! It was so much fun!!!!
The lighting that In the Mix provided for our venue, (the venue was great but somewhat plain) looked absolutely elegant and beautiful- a complete transformation- and for that alone my husband and I are grateful. If you haven't been to their office in Oxnard yet, you need to set up an appointment! Their lighting room will show you just how important great lighting is to make your venue look like a million dollars!
The manager of our reception sight couldn't say enough about working with Tim- from his professionalism to the amazing reception he provided. Our guests are still raving about the reception- in the words of many guests of all ages and backgrounds, including my husband and myself,- "BEST WEDDING EVER!"
The photobooth was one of the best decisions we made. One of our guests, who just happens to be a professional photographer, couldn't say enough about the quality of the photobooth. My husband and I will cherish our photobooth guest book for years to come.
We will be recommending In the Mix Events to all of our friends and family in the southern California area! Thank you Tim and everyone at In the Mix!!!!!

In The Mix Events provided lighting and DJ services for my wedding this past month. The event was at an airport so we had to do a lot to transform the space. We did a lot of DIY, so the morning of the wedding my fiancé and I were hanging signs and Tim and his crew were the first vendor to arrive on the scene with such a welcoming and professional attitude that immediately calms the nerves. When we first met with Tim to discuss the items for the wedding, he was very professional and full of really great suggestions in regards to things the DJs could announce and different options for the lighting. We were on a budget and he was happy to show us several different options based on our budget. He did string lights, up-lighting and spotlighting and also offered to hang pennant flags that I had made for the event. They transformed the space and it was exactly what I had in mind for the event. The DJ was awesome, I had a phone meeting with him to go over the plan for the wedding the week before (some packages also offer in person meetings with the DJ beforehand) I provided him a song list and he played all the right songs at exactly the right time to keep the party moving and provided lots of excitement and commentary. We had quite a lively group and he was happy to turn the mic over to me when the moments called for it (like when Ice-Ice Baby came on), he was such a sport with our flash mob, conga line, and line dancing and kept everything on par with the party atmosphere. We had such a great time at a blow out party and it was such a relief to have a professional vendor like In the Mix, where you do not have to babysit them. I was on a budget and opted for a different company for the photo booth because I was enticed by a lower price, but the other company didn't even show up, in retrospect I should have booked then for that too. In the Mix is a company you can count on to be on time, professional, and make your event look great and set the tone for a top notch party!!

In The Mix Events was awesome! DJ Tim Knapton was such a cool guy and was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. He had a detailed guideline of how the night was going to go and what music would be played.
All of the music was so much fun! He took requests from guests which made everyone feel more comfortable being able to dance to songs they liked as well.
All around, In The Mix is a great DJ company to go with. They are affordable and keep it fun!

The best advice I received in terms of the wedding day came from In The Mix Events as they told me that the day will go better if I am able to be flexible and let the guests run the day by how they are responding to different things. I was able to relax much more than I expected and everything went perfectly!!!! Things were out of order and at different times but it worked out better than I had expected!

The In the Mix team was amazing! Tim made planning the details of our wedding day (a daunt and slightly overwhelming task) simple and easy. Both Tim and Renee were super responsive and made the planning process so much fun. Their website was super easy to use and made it easy for me to adjust details while I was still being indecisive. On the day of, Tim read our guests so well and constantly kept the music fun and upbeat. Our wish was to create a party and to have our guests walking away saying they had a blast and that is exactly what Tim and his team delivered on. Our guest still talk to this day about how fun our wedding was. The best thing about Tim and his team was that they wanted our guests to have a great experience. To them it was more about the overall experience then being known as the best DJ.

Tim and his professional crew were phenomenal! We bought a package that included both an MC & a DJ and it was the best decision. Our DJ Bryan McQueen managed the entertainment for the entire reception, making sure our guests were having fun at all times, that everything went smoothly like planned, the timing stayed on track and honestly it felt like a true show for us. The team was very creative, coming up with unique game ideas, different musical arrangements with our DJ Scott and special touches everywhere. Bryan even orchestrated teaching everyone Thriller throughout the evening so we could all participate in the dance together. Their attention to detail, including the high-quality Bose sound system, the personalized monogram and gorgeous uplighting, made our reception a truly magical place. Thank you Tim, Bryan & Scott for creating wonderful memories for our special day!!

In The Mix was amazing and stress free to work with when discussing my DJ and lighting needs for my wedding. Tim was the perfect host to my guests and he made my vision of lighting come to life. The bistro lights and chandeliers created the exact ambiance that I envisioned. My guests were either on the dance floor or in the photo booth the whole night. Tim and staff did an AMAZING job at my daughter's wedding. They provided music at the ceremony, lighting at the reception, an awesome DJ and the fun packed photo booth! We received so many compliments and everyone is still talking about how much fun they had. The lighting definitely changed the look of our venue from something nice into something spectacular - those lighted crystal columns & chandelier added the final touch that was needed. Their motto "Be a guest at your own event" is truly what they accomplish.

If IN THE MIX is in the house, it's in the bag!

In the Mix provided DJ and emcee services for our wedding and did an awesome job. They were professional, creative, and very responsive. Yes, they cost a little bit more than other DJ's, but they are worth it and you get what you pay for. They did everything they promised they would do. We talked to other DJ's and felt like they were trying to sell us a used car. Tim on the other hand sat down with us and helped us plan. He was patient with us and made us feel comfortable. He discussed our options and didn't try to "up sell" us on extra speakers or extra lighting. Tim was genuine and it showed. You can pick all of your own music or you can let them use their years of experience to put something together for you.
Tim kept the flow of the reception going and everyone had a great time. When the music started the dance floor was full the whole time (literally). He kept the crowd entertained and everyone talked about it was one of the funnest receptions they have been to in a long time. Thanks In the Mix!

We are so glad we booked In The Mix Events to be our wedding DJ! They did a fantastic job providing the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. Meeting with Tim really helped put our mind at ease about the evening’s music and MC. We felt like his team really worked hard to create a memorable experience that fit us as a couple.

The process of selecting songs and announcements for our ceremony and reception was easy using In The Mix’s online program. On our wedding day, Tim and Kevin played all our favorite songs. Kevin did a wonderful job running sound for both our ceremony and reception. In the Mix Events made the reception so much fun for our guests! We had a great time working with the In The Mix team too. In The Mix provided beautiful string lighting, custom uplighting and spotlighting. At our venue we also had a large wind machine that they provided lights on and I know that was no small task. It all looked beautiful and they did their job like a professional company should. I would use and recommend In The Mix again without hesitation.

Hiring Tim from “In the Mix Events” as our MC/DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He was very professional, a pleasure to work with, and had great ideas. Tim provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. All went flawlessly. During the reception Tim played the songs we requested plus added music that kept a large crowd happy and dancing until the last song. We highly recommend Tim and In the Mix Events. Incredible job by Tim and crew! The cliche is "get good food and a good DJ and everyone will have a good time"-- well, Tim and In the Mix are a 'sound' basis for the adage! He's got the voice of a radio DJ and the music was played at the perfect volume, with the perfect mix of genres. If you're throwing a party, getting married, or have a corporate event, you'd be crazy to go anywhere other than In the Mix.

When we were looking for our wedding DJ we were really looking for someone who was energetic but down to earth at the same time. We hit both of those requirements with Tim Knapton at In The Mix. Tim understood our style, music, and lack of interest in all things cheesy! Tim played to the crowd, kept the evening moving, and was incredibly professional. If you aren't aware, planning a wedding can be hectic and stressful.

Thankfully our wedding coordinator Cari recommended Tim and everyone at In The Mix Events.

This was HANDS DOWN one of the best investments we made! Tim and his staff were VERY professional. They worked with us every step of the way to make our own vision a beautiful and stunning reality.

We worked within a small budget. Yet all our guests, of their own accord, kept posting and hashtagging sentences like "wedding of the century" and "best wedding ever" simply because the lighting emcee work and music, were so well done that the wedding was a perfect reflection of who were are.

Tim was the MC/DJ/light guru at our wedding two weeks ago, and he was AMAZING!

In The Mix Events has different packages available for different budgets, and Tim talked with us ahead of time to determine our needs. He was also very easy to reach when we had questions prior to the wedding.

The sound was great at both the cocktail/ceremony site and the reception site. The bistro lights set the mood for the night just the way we wanted. The dance music was spot-on. The photo booth was a big hit. (We have the thumb drive of those photos and the photo guest book to prove it!) Tim guided our guests through the night with grace and humor, even when we were running behind schedule.

I highly recommend In The Mix Events, and I'd give Tim six stars if I could!

Tim (owner) was a delight to work with and provided us with top-notch DJ services. Additionally, he did a great job providing outdoor lighting for our venue. He was easy to work with, provided us with an array of options to choose from, and did a fantastic job of covering the bases! We had 200 person outdoor wedding/dinner reception at a Gainey vineyard in Santa Ynez. And yes, we had a tight budget and Tim was able to pull it off! Outstanding service from the team at In The Mix, both Tim and Renee were polite, respectful, and responsive. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking to have DJ/MC/Lighting services. Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!! In the Mix Events truly out did themselves. The up lighting they did for my wedding was spectacular! The up lighting was set at a burgundy color to match my theme but once the partying and dancing began, all of the lights changed colors throughout the night! My photos look awesome with the different up lighting in the background. The photobooth was so much fun and all of my guests were so entertained with it! We picked the perfect package and we were given a photo album with all of the photos the guests took. It was used as a guest book because they got to add a message next to their pic. Overall, our wedding was amazing and Tim and his crew from In the Mix Events had a special part in making our wedding spectacular!

In the Mix and Tim were amazing! He really worked with me every step of the way to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. He always got back to me in a timely manner and was super friendly, just like everyone else I met and spoke to.

When they came to set-up they realized we needed more lights than we had agreed on, but they had some extra and did it at no extra cost to us. I cannot thank them enough for doing that for us!

They took all the stress out of the lighting and it looked beautiful. Every guest we had commented on how amazing the lights were. These guys are great and I highly recommend them!

Tim is absolutely amazing! My husband says, "He is just a cool guy." We both love music and wanted our wedding to reflect that love. Weddings can be stressful and planning our music with Tim was the least stressful and most fun part of our wedding. Our guests kept saying how much they enjoyed the music and how they all had a great time. Tim met with us multiple times, we even had a crawling baby in their office, and everyone was very helpful and friendly. On our wedding day, everything just flowed so naturally, like watching a motion picture with a soundtrack that set the tone. (This is the groom writing, just to be clear.) I'm reviewing In The Pix photo booth; I just didn't see an option to click those services on this website. I had been to a wedding where Monica (In the Pix) provided the photo booth. That was my first experience of a wedding photo booth, but she made it fun and I still have the pictures. So when my wife were planning our wedding and we saw the In The Pix setup at a wedding vendor showcase in our area, I knew that they were the ones we wanted, and I'm so glad we chose them. Monica did a fantastic job. She was very helpful on the day of the wedding (and in the prep stages too), and our guests had so much fun with the booth. We're glad our guests got to take copies of the photos with them, but we are so glad we also got the flash drive of the photos, and the book for people to write notes in it and leave a physical copy of the pics. We've had lots of fun looking through the pics, and were delightfully surprised at how involved people got! Even some of our most reserved, quietest guests got in there and took some priceless photos. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Our wedding was perfect from start to finish with the help of the In The Mix crew! We used their services for our DJ, lighting and photo booth (In The Pix) at our wedding. DJ Bryan was awesome to work with and very helpful with music selections throughout the ceremony and reception, and with the over all timeline for the day. He had some helpful hints that came with his experience. The day of ran smoothly and all our guests had a blast!

The open air photobooth was the highlight of our wedding! So much fun!!! Monica was so helpful before, during and after our event! Our thumb drive of all the photos taken in the booth was even mailed within the next week of our wedding!!

I found Tim, the owner by accident. It was the best accident I've ever had! From the beginning I felt in good hands. Tim wrote down every detail, small and big. His team also did my twinkle light lighting and it looked amazing!! I had asked for so much and it all looked as I pictured it.
Don did our ceremony music and was our DJ. The ceremony music was timed perfectly. He was super amazing!! He turned our wedding into the party that I wanted!! He read the crowd so well. Everyone keeps saying what a fun and great time they had!

I would definitely go back to In The Mix Events!!

This DJ did a great job of keeping our Wedding very organized! Tim planned everything very well and did exactly what we wanted (which is hard to find) Our guests really enjoyed the entertainment!! Tim was very flexible, and that night our family wanted to keep the party going so, for an additional charge, Tim kept the party going :) everyone loved it!! Thank you In the Mix!

Tim from In the Mix Events was easy to work with. When we first met him, he instantly made us feel comfortable about the whole process and he spoke to us like a friend and not just another sale. Our MC was Bryan and I'm not sure who the DJ was, but they both did a fantastic job in keeping the crowd dancing and moving. Everyone continues to talk about how fun our wedding was and how much fun they had dancing the night away. They complimented us on the flawlessness of the whole event and how simply beautiful everything was. In the Mix Events definitely had a lot to do with these compliments.

Everyone said it was the best wedding they ever went to. Everything was perfect. Tim played every song we requested and stayed on key with everything. It was flawless and his personality killed it. Our guests raved over this DJ and his beautiful lighting made it gorgeous. So happy

We rented a photo booth open style from in the mix. It was everything I hoped for all the guest got a kick out of it especially some of our older guest! So much so that we had my husbands nana in there taking pics. Another set of guests truly had a blast my flower girls ages 3-7 the lady helping at the photo booth table was so kind and patient with the kids u can just imagine all the kids running up there taking pics of themselves and "photo bombing" everyone. I didn't know you get a hard drive with all the pics along with a photo book with people's pics and their warmest wishes... So awesome. Monica is so talented she took my wedding invitation and made the photo strip to look just like it, highly recommend them.

Tim is incredible!!! We had such a fun time with him planning our wedding. In the Mix Events was both our DJ and provided the up lighting.
There is a detailed process in creating a wedding that seems effortless to pull off. Tim and his team are professionals who provided us with everything we needed and everything we wanted our ceremony and reception to be.

Our major concern was that we didn't want a cheesy, over the top reception. Tim understood exactly what we meant and was absolutely brilliant at our celebration. He was a classy, smart, sharp MC that provided the perfect blend between being in control and moving the reception forward, but also a fun personality, without being over the top. He touched on all the notes we spoke about and really took the time to shape our reception into exactly what we wanted. The music was awesome! They really know how to read a crowd and were so much fun.

Tim also provided the gorgeous uplighting throughout the reception. We had splashes of different purples on the walls, and it looked gorgeous! It was so wonderful to have In the Mix Events taking care of both aspects. They put us at such ease, that we were really able to enjoy our special day.

In The Mix was wonderful! We book them on short notice due to issues with the previous dj and they did an awesome job. They provided a wonderful variety of music and really catered to our needs.

We were so incredibly lucky to have found In The Mix Events! I have rarely come across a company so caring, professional and flexible. Before we had the pleasure of meeting Tim, we had called numerous lighting companies for quotes on bistro or Italian string lighting and were given such outrageous prices. In The Mix was the only company that offered an affordable rate. They went above and beyond by making sure we had the right amount of power to run the lights.

The lighting truly created a beautiful and memorable atmosphere and helped make our wedding a dream come true. Very much looking forward to hiring them again for our future life celebrations!

Booked Tim of In The Mix events for our July 2013 wedding and he was fantastic. We had specific demands -- we banned a couple of genres of music and several bands/artists and gave a list of several hundred songs we liked and said any of those are great, as are any similar tunes from similar artists.

Every song played at our wedding was perfect -- Tim knew how to read the crowd so the pace of music was matched and he kept things flowing and organized (with regard to both music and announcements). My now-husband and I noticed that guests would start to leave the dance floor as a song was winding down and after Tim started a new one, they were like, 'Alright, guess I'll keep dancing.'

And when we made a last-minute request for a certain song to be played as the last song, he said, 'I don't have it but I'll download it right now!' The song was played and almost everyone got up for that one last dance. Fantastic DJ, fantastic company and a pleasure to deal with both Tim and his wife Monica.

My wife and I hired Tim to DJ our wedding, which took place on July 14th, and we could not have been happier with the service.

We had a very long engagement, and found Tim at a wedding expo almost 2 years before our event. We hit it off immediately, and he was the only vendor there that didn't scoff at the amount of time until our event. He had a very engaging personality, and sold us on meeting with him. He was very low-pressure, which we greatly appreciated.

Ultimately, Tim was one of the first vendors we chose, maybe even before we chose a venue. Cut to many moons later, and the time has come for our event. Even though it had been about year since we spoke with Tim, he still had all the details we had discussed in our meeting on file, so we didn't have to go back and do the legwork all over again. My wife and I had a lot of pretty firm ideas about what we wanted, and Tim allowed us to use those ideas while also suggesting new ones to fill in a few holes.

The night of the reception could not have gone better. Tim played each and every song we had provided on our must-play list, and beyond that he took any request we made and played that too. He kept to the timeline perfectly, and struck the perfect balance of speaking up and being an emcee at the right moments, and keeping quiet and letting the music do its job. There's nothing I dislike more than a DJ that won't shut up, and Tim was the opposite.

Not only was he the perfect reception DJ, but their prices were extremely reasonable, and they won't try to convince you to purchase more than you need/can afford.

I couldn't recommend a DJ more highly. I wish I could get married again so I can hire In the Mix all over again.

We heard about Monica and In The Pix from a relative who works in the wedding industry, and we are so lucky we did!! They did a great job, the quality of pictures is unlike any other I've seen in a Photobooth. They brought great props and people are still raving about how fun the photobooth was, weeks after the wedding. The thumbdrive was TOTALLY worth the additional fee, it is such a fun way to see what everyone was up to. Thank you!

Tim made our wedding the party we wanted it to be. We had all ages out on the dance floor having a great time! He played all the music we requested and was great working with the other vendors to make our day special. I will recommend him and his company to any future couple!

They provided a photo booth with accessories for a sixth grade graduation party. They were on time, professional and fun! The kids had a blast taking photos. Recommend them highly!

The photobooth from In the Mix was one of the highlights of our event! Monica was fantastic to work with from start to finish- from designing the custom photostrip for the families; being responsive to emails; showing up early to setup; having a relaxed demeanor even though things around her may have been a bit chaotic; taking her time with each group at the photobooth to make them feel comfortable & have a good time; & all the while having a smile on her face! The props for the pictures are a must have to ensure a fun time. We will definitely use them again if the need arises!

In the Mix entertainment made my event look Amazing!!! The staff was attentive and made my vision come to reality. The quality of their work is amazing and it looks like it costs more than it actually did. I think that having a good lighting coordinator can make your even look stunning. I would recommend In the Mix entertainment to everyone who is planning to have an event to impress. Their staff is attentive, and really work around your budget. I even think that they knew what I wanted before I knew what I wanted. Overall they did an amazing job and if I have another event I would not hesitate to call them back.

Tim was fantastic. For all of you brides considering lighting, it is truly the icing on the cake for the final "look" of your event. Tim took my vision and added onto it.

At the end of the night, I had a chance to look at all of the details and the lighting and it was perfect in everyway.

Purchased the In The Mix Events photobooth as a gift for my best friend's wedding and it was the hit of the reception!! We worked with Monica, and she did an amazing job: on time, set up early, VERY flexible with time to start. She even printed out more strips for guests who were packing the booth (10+ people). Also provided tons of great props. I would recommend them for any wedding!!

In the Mix Events was wonderful! We had so much fun at our own wedding and we really owe a big thanks to the crew that made it happen. We had Tim as our MC, Brian as our DJ, and Monica hosting the photobooth. We had so many compliments on the music, MC, and photobooth. They really brought the energy up during our reception. We have already had people ask us for their info because they want it for themselves or to pass it along to a friend.

I also really loved that they helped us plan out the timing of everything and were able to make suggestions for music down the aisle. It was a big stress relief to have just about everything figured out in just 1 meeting.

We absolutely Loved out photo booth.. We elected the open photo booth and our chest were so impressed with the props and the great time! This was an after thought as we were having a very upscale wedding at the four seasons, we had reservations.. Turns out .. It was the BEST part of our reception. The staff was unbelievably friendly and the photos were such a hit!
If you wondering if its worth it ... YES!
