Spectacular Photographer and DJ

We could rave about photographer Mary McIntyre literally all day long. She was incredible. Hiring her was the absolute best decision we made. She was tireless, creative, and efficient. We both have large families and she organized shoots with them far faster than we expected. And she did the whole thing on a broken toe! We cannot recommend her enough.

We also hired ITM for DJ services and were pleased there as well. We got DJ Josef, who received multiple compliments from our guests. He kept the dance floor hopping all night. I think he missed a few of our must plays, but we were outside doing photos for a stretch, so it’s entirely possible we were the ones missing them. Either way, they did great work.

Blow away!

I have never recommended a company more than I do In The Mix. We had an INCREDIBLE experience! From the first consult phone call to wedding day, every single experience we had with them great! They were quick with responding and catered to our needs! They were kind and you could tell that every single person genuinely wanted to make our day special.

First, Mary is the most incredible photographer and human being I’ve ever met. She did a great job at making my husband and I (who are awkward with photos) feel our best and capture some amazing moments!

The DJ and MC were a complete hit! At one point my friend came up to me and said “I was standing in the back of the room and literally everyone was on the dance floor” ! Korey listened to my suggestions on our phone call and literally made the most incredible playlist for our wedding!
The only sad part was that the projector wasn’t working for our monogram but definitely not their fault!

John, our videographer was so fun to work with! I cannot wait to see the video which I already know is going to be incredible!

Exceptional Entertainment and Photography Services

DJ Saint James and Emcee Alexcia kept the energy high all night. The dance floor was absolutely packed, and the nonstop dance party created such an electric vibe. They truly read the crowd perfectly.

Mary & Nolan (photography) were amazing with our big crew in 96° heat. They kept everyone organized while also making us laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera. We just received our photos back, and they are beyond incredible.

From start to finish, In The Mix went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a vendor team that will capture your memories beautifully and keep your reception unforgettable, this is the team to book!

Exactly What We Wanted

DJ Apex and Matt Gorms did an amazing job at our wedding! The company was easy to work with, super responsive, and very professional. Platt Wedding ❤️

Our wedding was April 12, 2025. We used InTheMix event group for DJ, photography, and photobooth. Our entire wedding journey was phenomenal from beginning to end thanks to Mary and Harry, as well as the rest of the staff.

Mary and Nolan were very patient with our large wedding party. They made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful.

Harry and Apex were incredible and killed it with the music. The bride and groom hardly left the dance floor :). The stand up lights and sparklers were a game changer.

Let’s not forget the Photo Booth. Everyone absolutely loved it and had so much fun. Also, Thank you for providing an album for us.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with In the Mix for our wedding!

DJ: Our DJ was outstanding! We gave some general input on the types of songs and vibe we were looking for and they did an amazing job about running with what was given. They played everything we wanted while keeping a fantastic variety of music. They kept the dance floor full the entire night with plenty of songs for everyone from the younger crowd to our own parents. They knew exactly when to hype up the night and when to slow it down to give the entire party what they were looking for.

Photo: Our photographer Mary handled both our engagement photos as well as all photography for the actual wedding day. She made us so comfortable with a fantastic mix of posed pictures and candid snaps. We had a ton of fun and plenty of laughs and the quality of everything we received was excellent. Our video for the wedding day was high quality and we are beyond happy that we decided to purchase it. Great editing means that we will still have something to enjoy years in the future. The whole photography and videography team worked together so seamlessly that it made the experience completely stress free. We never once felt like we were missing our wedding to do photos or take a video. They provided both the full video and a shorter edited version we can share with others.

Management: We were thrilled that we decided to work with In The Mix for all aspects of the entertainment. Having them coordinate internally for all photos, videos, announcements, etc. made the day smooth and stress-free. Their teamwork and communication was spot on ahead during all of our planning and the day of. Everyone responded to our messages and questions quickly and thoroughly so it was never difficult to get any information or clarification that we needed. They are very knowledgable and passionate about what they do. We cannot recommend working with them enough. Seriously book them, you cannot go wrong with this amazingly talented team of people.

An Unforgettable Wedding Experience with In The Mix Event Group!

We had an unforgettable experience with In The Mix Event Group for our wedding in Cape May on September 28, 2024! We hired them for DJ, Emcee, and Videography services, and every aspect exceeded our expectations.

The videographer was really able to cater to our vision for the day and capture all the key moments without being intrusive. We were also thrilled to receive both the highlight reel and the full video in less than a month after the event!

Our DJ and Emcee were both professional and a blast to work with. DJ Saint James knew how to handle the vibes of the night and reflected that perfectly with the music choices. Our guests were having so much fun, we had to cut the music a few times in order to do our speeches. Our Emcee, Katie, was also incredible and we were so impressed by her ability to keep the night running smoothly.

Customer service was top-notch as well. Mary was helpful and responsive from start to finish, and the entire process was seamless. Overall, we had the best experience with In The Mix and would recommend their services for any event!

Top Tier Services!!

My husband and I got married in May of 2023 at Blue Heron Pines in Galloway, NJ. We already knew that we were booking In The Mix Event Group to be the soundtrack for our party, specifically DJ Saint James after we saw him DJ a friends wedding at the Collingswood Ballroom the prior year. After inquiring about booking, Harry met with us at their office and was very accommodating and made planning out what we would need for the day. We also appreciated the website provided to fill out all of our music choices and a run down for the ceremony which helped make things more organized and efficient for the day of. We booked Uplighting for the room as we felt it was a must for once the party got going. We also got the cold spark upgrade as well which made for some of our favorite pictures from the night. The photobooth fit great out on the enclosed patio area perfectly. DJ Saint James kept our dance floor packed the entire night, playing everything from the classics to the modern dance songs making sure to hit everything that we for sure wanted played. We still get compliments from friends and family about how much fun they had on our special day about the entertainment. Do yourself a favor and book In The Mix for your wedding, they won’t let you down.

Above and beyond our expectations!

In The Mix truly went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of the entertainment for our wedding was personalized and perfect for us. We felt like we were in great hands from the moment we booked them. As a forgetful bride, Mary was so helpful as she gently nudged us along the planning process. We have received countless texts from our guests who said it was one of the best weddings they’ve attended, many citing the music as a key reason. DJ Apex is hands down one of the best DJs in Philadelphia. He knows how to vibe with a crowd in a way that is so organic it’s almost as if he is reading your mind. I asked Harry about adding a live musician to play along with the DJ and he secured an incredible saxophonist who was playing over everything from Earth, Wind, and Fire to Lil Wayne. It was AMAZING! Emcee Bill was great! He helped facilitate the flow, checked in with us throughout the night, and was the perfect complement to DJ Apex. Guests also loved the 360 Photobooth, which was a fresh change of pace from the classic photo booth that's been around for years. Top-of-the-line service. Thank you for making our day unforgettable!

You'll Never Find a Better Duo Than Emcee Harry and DJ Apex

There are two things people will always remember (good or bad) from a wedding: the music and the food. Music was probably the most important part of wedding for my husband and I. We didn't want the same songs you hear at every wedding, but still wanted the vibes high and the dancefloor packed all night. In The Mix not only delivered, but they absolutely knocked it out of the park! I couldn't recommend Emcee Harry and DJ Apex more. Harry was incredibly helpful throughout the planning process and I truly felt that he understood what vibe we were going for. As a bride, I also really appreciated how super attentive Harry was all night. He checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was having fun. Most importantly, he kept the vibes at a 10 the entire night. Apex was the best DJ we could ask for. He took the few must plays (our do not play was infinitely longer) and the list of genres we gave, and just went for it. It's been almost two months since our wedding and we still have friends and family telling us it was the best wedding they've attended, or the best wedding they attended in a long time. We even had friends and family who usually don't get on the dancefloor out there all night! To quote one of our guests, "It was banger after banger. Any time I thought oh I'll take a break after this song, the next one came on and I couldn't leave the dancefloor". If you're looking for a DJ and asking yourself "should I book In The Mix?", the answer is YES!! Don't think about it, just do it. You won't be disappointed!

Great execution but a great staff!

What a breeze working with In the mix. A one-stop shop of nothing but professionals. We were going to go with independent vendors for each thing we needed (photography, lighting, DJ/band, rent a PA for the ceremony, photobooth, etc) then we went to a “wedding expo” for lack of a better word and met In the mix photographer, Mary. Got a packet from her that outlined all of the different packages they offer as well as fully customizable plans, and we were sold. Rather than dealing with 7 different vendors for the things we wanted it was a no fuss process that was easier than I could have ever anticipated for what is already an incredibly stressful time. Huge shoutout to everyone involved but specifically photographer Mary, for being our main point of contact through the experience pre/during/post wedding, as well as photographer Jackie who was there the day of the wedding and DJ Cory for keeping the party alive with ease!

Did not disappoint!!

From booking in the mix to our actual wedding, the whole process was effortless on our part. They were very easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions that we had before booking them. Then, they made it SO easy to pick all of our music choices for the big day, even down to the songs we did not want played at our wedding. On the day of, they made our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception great. We only had about 80 guests attend our wedding and 90% of them were on the dance floor the majority of the night. There was never a dull moment music wise! I highly recommend them for all of your wedding needs!

Amazing services!! One stop shop for wedding vendors

Had my wedding this past weekend & was absolutely honored to have ITMEG services throughout my whole day!

Harry was my officiant AND DJ/MC. Harry killed it during the ceremony, it was exactly what I wanted it to be, quick, easy & well planned out.

Mary & Sarah were my photographers - they couldn’t have been more thorough, professional, fun & awesome at what they do for both the guys & the gals during our special day. They made sure we had all pictures we wanted, organized family members, gave excellent cues & made sure we had fun throughout the process.

Harry & DJ Gorms kept the perfect vibe going during introductions, dinner service & dancing. They made sure the guests were involved in the whole process, hyped up the wedding party & had music for all to enjoy throughout the night. It was the perfect balance to keep everyone out on the dance floor & keep the energy up.

We also added on the 360 Photo Booth which was such a fun addition & gave guests something to do when they needed to rest their feet from dancing!

Top Notch!

In The Mix was the perfect choice for our New Years Eve Wedding! Harry & DJ Apex had the crowd dancing into the new year! Once the music started our guests did not leave the dance floor. We used them for more than just the killer music though. In The Mix also provided uplighting, cold sparks, monogram, astera tube lights and 360 degree photobooth! Working with Harry was fun and easy from the start. I will definitely be recommending In The Mix to all my newly engaged friends!

Best Entertainment!!

I was over the moon with how well our entertainment for the wedding turned out! Joe completely understood the assignment and crushed it with the perfect energy we were looking for! DJ Saint James played the music that fit our vibe so incredibly well, and I couldn’t have been happier with the pair! The crowd was electric and I truly owe that to these two for getting the party started and continuing until midnight! 10/10 recommend for emcee/dj, we are still hearing people i rave about our day and music/entertainment was a huge part of that!

We used in the mix for our photography and videography for our wedding 8/2023! We loved both vendors.
Mary the photographer was really organized and prior to the event really instilled confidence in us that she would bring our vision to life. The photos actually were beyond what we had wanted and everything was amazing. She also did a great job making us feel comfortable in front of the camera
Keith the videographer was really friendly and all the guests loved him. We loved having footage of the day to look back on, he did a great job capturing the important parts and making a highlight video for us.

Tailed perfectly for our wedding

DJ Korey and Emcee Danielle did an excellent job at my wedding in August. We all had such a blast and I got compliments from guests of all ages about the music selection. Korey did a great job nailing our taste! I so appreciated Danielle’s upbeat personality but also her professionalism when preventing guests from doing unwanted speeches or choreographed dances at our wedding. Just a slight head shake from us across the dance floor and she knew exactly what to do! Amazing! Mary was prompt and organized in coordinating for our event. They did our ceremony, cocktail, and reception music and emcee, and uplighting in our tent. Would definitely recommend In the Mix for your wedding or event!

Great Wedding Decision!

Absolutely amazing!! One of our most responsive and communicative vendors (I know things get crazy!). Katie, our emcee, was fabulous and handled every single possible thing that could have gone wrong. Effortlessly!! I even last minute (night before) asked to have clouds for the first dance and they accommodated me. On top of that, the music was great and exactly what I asked for. The dance floor was never empty the entire night!

We hired In the Mix for our wedding DJ after getting their referral from our venue. I spoke with the owner Harry about our vibe & type of music & he suggested DJ Matt Gorms & I'm so glad he did! Matt was an amazing DJ & everyone was on the dance floor the entire night myself included. Matt's energy was amazing & the way he mixes songs is perfection. You can tell he loves what he does. He was very easy going with last minute changes & always very responsive. Mary was always on top of answering my questions via email as well. Excellent dj/emcee and photography services!

We contracted In The Mix Event Group for our wedding and we are so glad we did! The owner, Harry McCloskey, was a joy to work with. He went above and beyond with all of our entertainment needs - from providing acoustic sounds, microphones and sound equipment for our ceremony to photographing everything from our engagement photo session to our wedding day from getting ready that morning through the bridal party photos to the ceremony & reception to emceeing and djing an amazing party - everything was perfect! We had several meetings with Harry and office manager/ lead photographer, Mary McIntyre, to discuss our vision for our wedding. They had an online site that allowed us to choose what music we wanted played and when, what the schedule of events was and who was involved in each event, and what pictures we wanted taken - this technology made everything so easy! Our photographer, Mary McIntyre, took gorgeous photos, was personable and attentive, and provided us with our pictures in a timely manner. Harry was an awesome emcee, making sure that everything we envisioned became a reality. We had THREE choreographed dances, with music, props and videos, and Harry executed them all for us. He communicated closely with our venue wedding coordinator to make sure everything went smoothly - from passing out glow tubes to making announcements and introductions. Our dj, James Epright/ DJ Saint James, was fantastic - we discussed that we wanted our reception to go from motown/ rock classics at cocktail hour to our favorite 80s/ 90s hits and standard wedding favorites after dinner to a full-on EDM rave for the last hour and that’s exactly how it happened. The dance floor was packed all night and our guests complimented the music throughout the reception. I would highly recommend using In the Mix Event Group for all your party entertainment needs!

HIRE THEM! i would absolutely give 10/10 if I could

If you want your dance floor packed all night long I HIGHLY suggest you hire In The Mix Event Group for your wedding/event. We had a mix of every age group at our wedding and DJ Apex played different genres throughout the night and that kept everyone on the dance floor LITERALLY all night long! Joe, our emcee was amazing! he was ALWAYS on the dance floor dancing with us, hyping everyone up, taking videos and checking up on me and my husband and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. We had added the photo booth to our package and let me tell you, that was a HIT! everyone loved taking pictures with their groups and using the props that were provided. The photo booth book we got at the end of the night is definitely something we will always look back on. A month from our wedding, Joe was always checking in over text, making sure everything was set to our expectations and I couldn’t thank him enough for that because if i’m being honest, i had no idea what i was doing. We truly found the best DJ/emcee for our wedding and YOU can too!! We can not recommend In the Mix enough and would use them again and again in a heart beat!

Best Wedding DJ Ever!!

5/5 service without a doubt! We used in the mix for our wedding on June 10th, we had DJ saint James and Harry as our emcee and we couldn’t have asked for a better combination! They kept the energy high all night long and kept the crowd on their feet with ease! We had so many people tell us St James was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen! The combination of DJ and emcee was great as one is able to focus on the music and the crowd while the other is able to tend to requests, motivate the crowd, make announcements which Harry did beautifully even checking with me a few times throughout the night to see how we thought things were going and if we wanted any changes made. They had several add-ons we used including a monogram, glow tubes, and also got our photo booth/videographer all from the same place! The photo booth was amazing and we even got a book as a memento with a copy of all the photos taken! Our videographer worked so well with the photographer we had and they made it feel like they weren’t even there so we could cut loose and enjoy ourselves. I would recommend In the mix Event group to anyone especially for weddings, they’re not your grandparents DJ company that is going to play line dance songs and oldies all night, they know how to get a party started and keep it going all night long! Thank you to them again for making our wedding the best party of the year!

Fun, flexible and Fabulous

If you want to have a filled dance floor at your wedding, hire In the mix! I had every age group at my wedding and the were all dancing at some point! The ceremony and cocktail hour, we had a phenomenal keyboard player that captured the essence of the ceremony and played magnificently during the cocktail hour! Ladies, you can do a one stop shop here! Up lights, photography, photo booths! You name it, the have it! Such professionalism and flexibility too! I can’t thank In The Mix enough! They made my Wedding, Epic!!!!!!

Matt Gorms!!!!! Before we even got engaged, my now husband, would tell me he already had a DJ/Emcee for our wedding. I am so glad I trusted him because words cannot describe the energy Matt brought. Matt, you were the best to ever do it and we could not be more thankful for your friendship and your role in our wedding. Thank you for keeping everyone on the dance floor, finalizing our details, following through with all the last minute changes, and having the greatest personality. We are so lucky to have you and In the Mix Event Group. We want to give a shout out to Marlon, for helping Matt throughout the night! He kept everyone moving and laughing. Harry and Mary are amazing. Harry has a great personality and truly understands the roles/job load of a DJ and emcee hence why they always provide two people to complete the job. Mary, you are such an asset to the team. Joe and DJ Apex are awesome!

My husband and I can't stop talking about how much fun our wedding was, and that's because DJ Apex and Joe knocked it out of the park with our ceremony and reception! Music is very important to us, so when we were searching for a DJ, we needed someone that could blend different genres—from electronic to reggaeton to salsa—which DJ Apex handled masterfully. The other half of this amazing duo was Joe, who returned early from his back surgery recovery to Emcee our wedding. We were thrilled to have Joe back with us in the planning process, and he made our day even more special. We also purchased the photo booth add-on, a massive hit with everyone! Our guests say ours is the most fun wedding they've ever attended. Finally, we cannot thank the In The Mix Event group enough!

For some reason, when it comes to writing reviews, I don’t feel very helpful if I just repeat what everyone else has already established. It seems as though all good DJs/MCs generate heaps of the same praise, and not much stands out unless there’s a complaint. I completely agree that Harry is great at what he does. Our dance floor was never empty, and we received feedback from multiple guests about how great our DJ and MC were. His assistant, Mary, has also been a delight to interact with. Here’s what stands out to me most about Harry, though, and I think this says more about my experience working with him than anything else I could write: During the vendor-hiring process, a mutual acquaintance put me in touch with her long-time friend Harry. This shared connection means there’s a chance our paths will cross again at future social gatherings. I was originally a little wary about hiring someone with whom I share this potential overlap because if things didn’t go well with Harry leading up to and/or during the wedding, it could be uncomfortable to run into him again afterward. I wouldn’t want that kind of awkwardness for anyone involved! Now that we are on the other side of our wedding day (which was postponed twice and ended up occurring over two and a half years later than initially planned due to the pandemic, during which time Harry was a consistent source of reliability, encouragement, and positivity), I can truly say that I not only wouldn’t mind seeing Harry again, but also I really hope I do, and I’m grateful to know that it’s a possibility. We were aiming to find vendors who would perform their services well at our wedding, and we did; finding one who is so endearing that I would have been happy to have him on the guest list was a really pleasant bonus!

Great experience with In The Mix

We learned about the In The Mix Event Group from our wedding venue. After an initial consultation with the owner Harry McCloskey, we booked In The Mix for our DJ and videography. Mary McIntyre was our contact person and she was extremely organized and responsive. She even went the extra mile to find a drone for the videographer when we decided at the last minute that we wanted a drone (for an extra fee). Our DJ Matt Gormley had two extensive phone calls with us so that we could go over the music we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He was very friendly and did a great job of “reading the room” and playing songs that got our guests dancing. Our videographers were Danielle and David, who were both very approachable and easy to work with. Overall, In The Mix was very professional and responsive; they worked very hard to understand what we were looking for on our big day. We received a 5-minute “highlights reel” video of the wedding—it was nicely edited and really captured the essence of our wedding. We highly recommend In the Mix!

THIS is the vendor you NEED

In The Mix Event Group was amazing from start to finish. Our DJ, Matt, was so great about explaining the timeline from start to finish. He listened to our wants and made it all happen. Amazing experience

Harry did both my friends weddings so when my husband and I got engaged there was no question about hiring him! Harry and his entire team were by far our favorite vendors and most easy to deal with. Mary was always so prompt with any questions I had!

People are still raving about how amazing our DJs were. So on point with the music and professional. I changed my wedding music so many times the week of my wedding and Harry never once complained!

We added cold sparks and co2 guns to our wedding and boy was it a game changer! It really amped up the crowd

Harry along with DJ gorms, went out of their way and even made a little wedding video for us too with their GoPro!

What impressed my stepdad was how down to earth and professional both DJs were. He had throat cancer and has had surgeries on his throat and it makes it hard for him to speak. Harry reassured him with the mic/sound system he would sound fine., and he did. He really eased that stress for him.

If your on the hunt for entertainment for your wedding, and you want to wow your guests, hire in the mix!

Best dj ever!

Hiring In the Mix was one of the best decision we ever made for our wedding! Our dance floor was packed all night and Joe really got the crowd going and was so involved on the dance floor! He made sure to include all of the kids and always was always hyping the crowd up. So many people told us that our dj was great. At one point I said I need him to play a bad song because I couldn’t breathe from dancing and singing so hard!! They made our wedding so much fun and we can’t say enough good things about them!

a MUST have for your wedding

This review simply won't do justice to the completely AMAZING wedding we had thanks to Harry and James. They kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Everyone came up to us after and said it was the best wedding they've been to. Harry and James were professional, yet fun and engaging. The uplighting added an extra nice ambiance during dinner. Also, do yourselves a favor and add in the colds sparks. They made our entrance and first dance extra special and everyone commented on how much they liked them. Overall, I can't say enough about the awesome job they did and how they made sure we were happy with everything throughout the night. They especially made sure the bride felt extra special.

10/10 would recommend

I first heard of In The Mix Event group when Harry , DJ’d my brothers wedding in 2017. He was amazing, and I knew one day I would definitely choose his company for my own. So here we are, 2022 and In The Mix blew me away once again. We had a much smaller wedding than my brother, but the dance party felt just as big. Now Harry himself did not DJ our wedding, we had Yoseph , and he was equally as great! I really let him take the reigns on music, and he came up with an amazing playlist that we loveddd.
Everyone that I dealt with in the company was attentive and answered any question I had.
10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful Experience

I LOVE In the Mix! I am so grateful we were given a referral to this group. The whole experience from beginning to end was a pleasure! Mary was lovely to work with. She is professional, sweet, and very responsive. The owner, Harry, has great energy and I knew from first speaking with him that I wanted to go with them for our entertainment. For the big day, DJ Korey Oats was our DJ/Emcee and was fantastic!! He fulfilled every one of our requests, was very professional, and kept the perfect music vide from cocktail hour through to the very end of the reception. He also did an amazing job with set up of the lighting. I would highly recommend going with those extra touches, it looked awesome!

Amazing is an understatement!

We used In The Mix for their DJ and photography services. DJ Jim was excellent! He nailed our genre requests and he had the crowd dancing all night long! Photographers Krista and Jerry were the best team! They were enthusiastic and warm from our first meeting. By having two photographers, they were able to capture every special moment at different angles. They were creative with classic moments. Entertainment to remember!

AMAZING ! Not sure there are enough words to describe our experience with In The Mix !!! Our wedding was incredible, with the most amazing entertainment! My guests are STILL asking us who we used , even a week later !! The dance floor was packed the entire night even with the Phillies playing in the NLCS !! Harry even gave up his tix to the game that night to work our event & i couldn’t be more thankful! Between Harry, John, Gavin and the photo booth attendant (sorry didn’t catch a name) we couldn’t have asked for a better team! If your looking for your entertainment look no further !! The best!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Although I didn’t get much time on the dance due to conversations and other bride and groom duties my guest looked/ expressed how much fun they had. Music seemed to be well read by the room and dance floor didn’t stop. Billy my emcee was great very commutative and made the picking music process super easy. They brought the party!

We used In the Mix for our DJ (Korey), photography (Mary) officiant and lighting. I cannot say enough good things about this group. Mary is so sweet and made us feel at ease taking pictures. Korey turned our venue into a dance party and while I gave him suggestions on music, he put his own spin on it and we had a packed dance floor for 2.5 hours. I HIGHLY recommend getting the cold sparks (and if you're like me, forget that you got them)- they made for some amazing photos and really brought the "wow" factor. I haven't received photos yet, but our engagement photos (done with Mary) are some of my absolutely favorite pictures of us, so I expect the wedding pics will be amazing too!

If you’re still looking for a DJ/ Emcee pair look no further. The entire staff at In The Mix was PHENOMENAL to work with from the beginning of booking all the way up to the end of the night at our wedding. We personally had Harry as our Emcee and Dave (Apex) as our DJ and the two of them totally made the night something to remember for us and our guest. Harry was such a huge help when picking out our first dance, entrance, and party music and was constantly checking in with us throughout the night to make sure we both were happy with the sequence of things and was totally willing and able to make whatever we wanted happen on the spot. Apex KILLED it all night and made sure our Italian and Hungarian music was played at appropriate times and everything he played was seamlessly transitioned from dinner to party. We seriously will be raving about their service to EVERYONE. Would give them 100 stars if I could.

Wonderful Service!

Harry and In The Mix were amazing at our wedding! Our guests had a blast dancing and the dance floor was full all night long. They provided music for our ceremony as well, and everything was beautiful and perfect. The photo booth was great and our guests had a great time posing for pictures. The best night of our lives

Harry and In the Mix Group came highly recommended by my wedding planner at the Chauncey Hotel and Laurie House, Amanda. I trusted her to provide me with whomever she would have wanted at her wedding. I talked to Harry for the first time during our consultation and right away I knew he was a great fit for my fiancé and me. He understood that we really wanted a dance party that did not stop but a ceremony that was sweet and romantic. Him and his team were incredible and really allowed for our wedding to be the best ever!! Harry was also very quick to respond to emails and text messages which I appreciated in a vendor. His forms to fill out prior to the wedding are thorough and cover everything I could think of and more! With all the decisions that needed to be made for our big day, choosing In The Mix Event Group was one of the easiest. Amazing night and incredible dancefloor!!

We could not have been more pleased with in the mix! As a bride and groom you always want to enjoy your wedding to the fullest- the best part was how much we were on the dance floor!!! I can’t say enough amazing things about In The Mix. The whole team - from photo, video, photo booth, and DJ/Emcee was absolutely perfect. Having the convenience of using one company for all of our vendors was absolutely key. It’s a huge bonus to have a team that works together daily and communicates flawlessly. Harry has done a ton of family weddings for us and when he told us about Mary (photo) and Gavin (video) we trusted everything he had to say. We were not disappointed. Incredible. Brought a Party to Our Wedding

In The Mix Event Group came recommended to us through a friend of a family member. From the start of meeting Matt (our DJ), and working with the team, we were highly impressed with their professionalism, passion, attention to details, and knowledge. We had an immediate trust and comfortability with them, and also felt they listened and took into high consideration the things that were of importance to us. The day of, Joe (our Em-C) brough the highest energy and fun during the reception. This hyped up our guests, bridal party, and made everyone want to be on the dance floor. The BEST group to hire!

We hired Harry and his crew for DJ, photography, videography, photobooth and lighting for our wedding and it was the best decision we made! The DJ truly makes or breaks your wedding and Harry had everyone up and dancing all night (I even had some friends miss eating their dinner because they didn’t leave the dance floor!) He was super easy to work with and knows how to your guests out of their seats! Mary (photo) and Gavin (video) were amazing! I can’t stress enough how much smoother things work out when you have a crew of people who have worked together before. Hire! Hire! Hire!!

Listen, I believe the music at the wedding makes or breaks the atmosphere. I’ve been to some weddings where the dance floor is literally empty because the DJ did not know how to play to the crowd. Our wedding was not the case. I cannot say enough about how amazing Harry and Matt/DJ Gorms was for our wedding on 2/13/22.

Firstly, beyond flexible and helped ease all worries. Rescheduled Covid couple here and literally didn’t even flinch when I said we had to postpone.

Second, we didn’t have a list of what to play just a general idea (we are EDM lovers) but we wanted to party. We left it in there very capable hands, and did they deliver!! We had friends travel from all over and said this easily was in the top 3 of weddings they have ever been too and I credit the DJ as a large part of that. Multiple people said how awesome the DJ was and the dance floor was never empty.

It was a no brainer to go with In the Mix from the start and the response just solidified we made the right call. So if you are looking for a DJ for your wedding do not even take a second thought go with In the Mix Event Group!

An Amazing Company!

In the mix was a great decision for my wedding. Having all of the vendors under one roof is such a relief, it's less to worry about, BUT the quality they delivered was was beyond my expectation. The dj and emcee were great. The Photo Booth came out perfect and was such a great add on to the party. Mary, with the photos was just unbelievable though. The way she captured us and used the lighting to her advantage, I just couldn't believe how talented she is. Im so grateful and thankful that I went with this company.

Absolutely Amazing

I don’t even know where to start with this company! From start to finish, absolutely amazing! Harry answered every single annoying question, super quick and even when he was on vacation! We met pre-covid and went over all details and pricing. He came in under the competitors and was also highly recommended by numerous people! When I say he did not disappoint, he did not disappoint! We made the decision to do uplighting, a photo booth and cold sparks… all through In the Mix! The cold sparks were a statement piece. I cannot recommend him and his company enough. His services, professionalism and work was everything we could have asked for in a DJ! Everything was so smooth from booking all the way to the actual wedding. No issues or problems in between. Absolutely incredible!

Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard but planning two due to COVID postponement is pure insanity! With this being said, Harry McCloskey and his team really helped to make this process go SO much smoother then we ever could’ve imagined! Back in 2018, when my husband and I started planning our wedding for 2020, we were referred to the company, In the Mix, by a close friend. Although we had a few other meetings set up with other companies, from our first meeting with Harry we 1000% knew he was the one for our special day! His personable personality made booking our first vendor a breeze and this easy-going, accommodating attitude did not change for the 2+ years we worked together! I truly believe that our day would not have been what it was without Harry and DJ Apex — and did I mention the cold sparks they have to offer?! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Perfect team to get the party started (and keep it going)!

I am Cuban American and I was on a mission to find a bilingual DJ + Emcee for my wedding — someone who knew all kinds of music from salsa and reggaeton to oldies and top 40 and could communicate throughout our wedding in both English and Spanish. I didn’t realize that it would be such a mission to find this in the Philly region. I searched the depths of the internet until I finally stumbled upon In the Mix. When I spoke with the owner Harry McCloskey and told him what my (now) husband and I were looking for, he immediately connected us with Joe Sanchez and David Torres and after talking with all of them, I just knew that they were the right people to get the party started at our wedding.

Joe and David KILLED it at our wedding. They were so kind and fun and knew exactly what to play and when to play it. They had everyone from Gen Z to boomers on the dance floor as they danced to everything from Gloria Estefan’s Conga to September from Earth, Wind & Fire to Beyonce’s Love on Top. They danced it up with my family, passed me the mic several times to belt out some of my favorite songs and overall created the most positive, fun and amazing multicultural vibe at our wedding that was inclusive and loving. To this day, my mom STILL talks about how amazing the dance party was at our wedding and we owe that to the work of Joe and Dave.

Behind the scenes, Harry worked with us as we changed our wedding date several times during the pandemic. He was incredibly responsive and flexible and we are so grateful that after several date changes, we were still able to work with Joe and Dave.

If you love to dance, appreciate a DJ + Emcee who know how to read the room, are looking for people who reflect your community and who are respectful and overall great people — hire In the Mix! You will have a dance party that will become a legacy in your family.

The Most Fun Wedding Day

Phenomenal service. Our DJ/MC checked in w/us multiple times leading up to and during our wedding. We’ve been to a few events where In The Mix was dj and just knew we had to use them for our big day! Harry was so great to work with! We had to move our date due to COVID and he was completely accommodating. Booking was easy and all done over phone/email. Planning out the details of the night when we got closer to the wedding was also super simple. Had a phone call with Harry and filled out a form with everything that we wanted. Very organized!

The night of the wedding was great! In the Mix did the uplighting and we had a photo booth. The Uplighting was lovely and matched our color scheme well. I asked to add the photo booth at the last minute and they accommodated me again with no issues. He had everyone on the dance floor during our wedding, I think most people were on the dance floor the whole night. I loved the photo booth so much! We are still waiting on our professional photographer photos so it was nice to go through the book of photos everyone took.

Incredibly Satisfied

After having a DJ scheduled for well over a year for my daughter’s wedding on October 30, 2021, we were notified about 2 months prior to the event that he was not going to be available for our event for a personal reason, but he passed us along to Harry McCloskey and his In-The-Mix Entertainment Group. A bit miffed and concerned we had our initial meeting with Harry. He put us immediately at ease and worked with my rattled daughter to calm her concerns and quickly make us realize that everything happens for a reason. Harry assigned Billy (as the emcee) and Joel (as DJ) to our event. After a few more calls with Billy and the team, all details were worked out and we were ready for the big day.
Fast forward to the reception, to say that Billy and Joel were professional, is an understatement. They were friendly and personable, very adept at reading the room and kept our guests engaged for the entire 4.5 hour reception. Once the dance floor was open, I can honestly say that at no point was there a lull in the excitement. The dance floor was PACKED all night long. To a person, my guests all LOVED the entertainment, with many asking for business cards for (hopefully) future use. We have heard from many of our guests after the event and all had glowing reviews. Most saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended, with a large part of that being the entertainment.
As we all know, a good DJ / emcee can make or break an event. In this case Billy and Joel made me look like a genius for choosing them to DJ our event. In fact, we had all gratuity envelopes prepared prior to the event, so I handed them out at the conclusion of the event. The day after, I felt compelled to Venmo additional gratuity money to Billy and Joel as I really wanted to show my gratitude to them both for the excellent job they did for us. THEY WERE THAT GOOD!

I known Harry a long time and he didn’t disappoint at my wedding one bit!! He provided all my services from emcee, to DJ, uplighting, photographer and photo booth for the best price. I would of paid triple the price to have him and his crew do my wedding again. DJ Matt was amazing as well and kept our dance floor packed literally all night . Five stars - professional & responsive

Omgoodness, where do I start! I've known Harry almost 15 years now and I knew the second we got engaged he is who I was calling for the entertainment at our wedding! Although we were both super bummed that he was personally already booked for our date, Nick and Joseph KILLED it! Starting at our outdoor ceremony Nick worked with us to get a generator since our ceremony spot had no electrical and he didn't miss a beat - everything went perfectly! Our reception was no different! We had asked them to do a bit of a mix up for our Best Man/Man of Honor entrance and it was EPIC! They were able to do everything we asked although nothing was traditional about it 😁 They took everyone's requests, kept the guests hyped, and the party booming all night. 💃🕺 The glow tubes were also a big hit! We received a ton of amazing feedback regarding the photo booth as well! How crisp and clear the photos came out, the nice, bright background. Wonderful!!

We had Korey for our wedding along with our dj and I can’t for the life of me remember his name but Everyone loved and raves about both of them!!! Awesome experience!

Friday the 13th wedding

Harry was recommended to us by a friend who swore he was the best, so I booked him based off her word. I was able to attend a wedding where In the Mix was the DJ and I did not stop dancing the whole night and neither did anyone else! On my wedding day, Harry had the whole dance floor full even before dinner. He played a mix of music that kept everyone on the dance floor without any of the cheesy classics (cha cha slide, etc). Overall 10/10 DJ if you want to dance the night away on your wedding day!

Fantastic!

My fiancé (now husband) and I were a COVID couple, like so many other couples. We originally started planned back in 2018- which is when I first met Harry. From the moment we met Harry, we knew we were going to use ITM for our special day.
When COVID happened and we had to push our wedding back a year, we notified Harry and he made sure we were still taken care of. The day came and we honestly couldn’t have been happier! We lucked out to be able to have the best DJ (Nick) and we lucked out with having Harry as our MC!

They say people remember the food, alcohol and music at a wedding- we definitely had the best music around and everyone is still talking about it to this day. We cannot that In The Mix enough for everything and helping to make the day as easy and as fun as possible!

Definitely a 10/10 business and I highly recommend booking them for your next event!

Amazing Experience

In The Mix made our day so special! From the time I spoke with Harry, the head of the company, to get the ball rolling, to planning the day-of with Bill our MC, the process went smoothly. Bill went above and beyond to ensure that we had what we needed, including setting up a video with our family from the UK who couldn't make it due to COVID restrictions. They even facilitated a little Bruce karaoke session at the end of the night, which was super special to my family. In The Mix got the party started!

In The Mix was the best wedding decision we made. Harry provided top notch customer service. Throughout the whole ordeal of switching dates due to covid, Harry was so flexible & always willing to help no matter the time of day. Joe and Jim, our day of Emcee and DJ, were amazing. The day went so smoothly with their help. The ceremony sounds were beautiful. These guys really started the party once the reception began. We received so many compliments about In The Mix from our guests, wait staff, and bartenders. The one bartender noted she has worked dozens upon dozens of weddings and this was the best DJ crew she ever heard. She said she was trying not to dance while doing her job. Thank you guys so much for all your hard work and dedication into making this day so special for us.

The 2020 Party everyone NEEDED!

I had first heard DJ Carlos spin at our Beachbody Coach events and loved how he always keeps the energy going! When planning my wedding, I knew I had to have In the Mix! We had to pivot our wedding plans 6 weeks before, change the time of the reception, logistics etc... Harry was very patient and accomodating and told me not to worry. He would handle everything the day of and I wouldn’t need to worry about a thing. And that he did! All we wanted was for everyone to have a good time and almost a month later they are still talking about how much fun our wedding was. Hire in the mix 100% the best!

Let me start off by saying this.....In The Mix Event Group is the BEST and I couldn't recommend them more! I wouldn't use anyone else. I am going to give a detailed review because every bride deserves to know how amazing this company is.

In a time of craziness and uncertainty with COVID, they were flexible, professional, and went with the 100 changes we had to our wedding. The team was more than willing to accommodate any change request we had and after speaking to hundreds of brides who's weddings got changed due to COVID, this is not something anyone should take for granted. Working with In the Mix was a gift and a blessing to us. Not once did I feel unsupported or worried about things. They were along for the ride no matter the changes. This is not normal! Other vendors do not treat others like this so book them if you can!

Last minute we decided to actually have our wedding that we post-poned. Called In the Mix up, and they immediately made the changes and said they will be there! I told them my story, how I am a Nurse Anesthetist, and worked during the whole pandemic and want to bring love and energy to our wedding. They spoke with me over the phone a couple times to get things the way I wanted and then like magic they made our wedding day perfect. The team was so considerate in setting up the lights and checked with me multiple times to make sure things were perfect. They checked in with me to go over any detail and made our party fun and full of energy!!! The team is so talented and went with the flow on so many things. I can't express enough how amazing this company is. Do not book anyone else, especially with the craziness during COVID! Go with someone you can trust like this company! Our entire party was complimenting us on the music, energy, and the entire In The Mix Team. Thank you for everything! We love you!

Highly recommend!

In the Mix Event Group exceeded our expectations !! If anyone is looking for the DJ and MC, look no further! They had the most perfect mixture of music...from peaceful and slow during dinner to fast and party vibe throughout the rest of the night. We had so many of our guests asking for their information! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Best night of our Lives!!!

I highly recommend In the Mix Event Group for any function where you need top-notch entertainment! Harry McCloskey Jr and our Dj -Jim DJ Saint James were simply amazing!!! They were so easy to work with and were beyond responsive to our requests and questions! Harry and his team are super attentive to his brides and grooms and made the process easy and enjoyable! We used them both for our wedding ceremony and reception, and the music was Amazing! They kept our wedding guests pumped up and the dance floor filled all night! Book them for your next event...you will not be disappointed!! I cannot thank them enough for making our wedding the best night of our lives! We will definitely be using In the Mix Event Group in the future!

This is the DJ you want for your wedding!

After dancing all night at my sister's wedding, I knew I wanted to book Harry and In The Mix for my wedding the following year. Harry and his team know how to party! They not only did our reception but our ceremony music and provided uplighting. They nailed everything from our ceremony playlist to the specific timing we wanted for our entrance song at the reception. The dancefloor was never empty and everyone was telling us the next day how much fun they had and sore they were from dancing. If you want to have a great time at your wedding and keep your guest entertained, I highly recommend booking In The Mix. You will not regret it!!

A DJ who listens to what you want!

DJ Saint James was excellent to work with, and even better at keeping our guests dancing on the dance floor. He was able to find EVERY song my then fiance wanted to play for the cocktail and dinner hour. That was the one area my now husband was adamant about, having every song on the playlist he worked on for a year to be played in a specific order. DJ Saint James did not disappoint. He also did a wonderful job of sticking to our dance music genre adding a few other tunes to get the older crowd up and dancing. He was well organized for the ceremony music and reception announcements, and then speeches. They are a wonderful affordable company, I'd highly recommend!

Dance floor full all night long!!

Whether it’s playing a small party or big wedding/event In The Mix always brings the same amount of energy to get the party going and people dancing!! I’ve known Harry for about 10 years now, so I was beyond excited to book In The Mix for my wedding. Him and his guys had the dance floor full allll night long!!!! Always extremely professional, courteous, friendly and most importantly fun! We can’t thank them enough for the awesome job they did at our wedding. ❤️
