    Exceptional service and stunning florals, Rain or Shine

    We hired In The Garden NJ for our October 2025 wedding, and from the very beginning, Nancy and her team were an absolutely incredible to work with. Throughout the planning process, they were incredibly responsive, professional, and thoughtful. The pricing was transparent and flexible, and Nancy provided multiple estimates to help us stay comfortably within our budget while still achieving the look we wanted.

    Then, the week of our wedding, disaster struck. A powerful Nor’easter rolled through the Jersey Shore. Our dream of a beachfront ceremony with a gazebo covered in flowers was suddenly impossible. I called Nancy in a panic two days before the wedding. Without missing a beat, she calmly reassured me that she would make it beautiful no matter what.

    Within hours, she and her team completely reimagined our floral plan, designing stunning basket arrangements for our indoor patio ceremony. She even added last-minute floral pieces to the grand staircase, creating a breathtaking backdrop for our family photos now that the ocean view was no longer an option.

    On the day of the wedding, Nancy and her team braved flooded roads and 50 mph winds to deliver every floral piece. Everything perfectly arranged and more beautiful than we could have imagined. Thanks to them, what could have been a chaotic, disappointing day became an intimate, magical celebration surrounded by flowers that truly brought our space to life.

    Nancy and the In The Garden team didn’t just provide flowers, they saved our wedding. We could not recommend them more highly.

    Great to work with!

    I hired ITG for my wedding and they were amazing! Eileen was great, she listened to everything I did/didn't want and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. They understood my vision and the look I was going for and the flowers were stunning! I would highly recommend them and will use them again for any future needs!

    Amazing customer service, beautiful flower arrangements, couldn't ask for a better experience

    we had an amazing experience using in the garden. The flower arrangements were gorgeous. They were so easy to work with and would highly recommend them to anyone for any occasion

    Amazing! Highly recommend!

    AMAZING!!!! Please use them! They were so great and accommodating! They read my mind and my arch came out exactly how I wanted!! My flowers were breathtaking and perfect held up all day!! Nancy was so wonderful to work with and you won’t be disappointed!

    Absolutely beautiful job was done by Nancy and her team. I'm so happy we decided to go with birch arch, it was a nice touch. Table arrangements were gorgeous. Everything was done with taste and high quality.

    I cannot say enough AMAZING things about working with In The Garden! I worked primarily with Eileen, and she was wonderful from beginning to end. I showed a few pictures of things I had in mind and In The Garden completely brought the vision to life, surpassing all of my expectations! The arch they designed for our ceremony was absolutely stunning and the bouquets & boutonnières couldn’t have been more beautiful and full. I’m so thankful for all of their hard work and helping to make our wedding day so perfect. Thanks for being so great at what you do & such a pleasure to work with!!

    In the Garden outdid themselves for our March 24th wedding! Eileen and team were such a delight to work with. I did not have a specific bouquet / centerpiece in mind and Eileen was so patient and willing to work with me. She sat down with me and pulled out different types of flowers, colors and together we picked a bunch that I liked. When the time came for the centerpiece sample, I was speechless. She really took my love for greenery and the few flowers I picked out and put her art to work! The team never did a wedding at my venue and they MASTERED it. I had some unique pieces done by In the Garden for the venue (greenery hanging from the ceiling, wreaths, etc) and everything was so perfect. The venue even raved about In the Garden's professionalism and flexibility! What a great team to work with!! Also, happy to say that my bouquet is still sitting in a vase (5 days later) and they look just as beautiful!

    I was blown away by Nancy and her team at In the Garden! Our flowers and lights were absolutely gorgeous for our fall wedding at The Water Witch Club.

    I reached out to In the Garden after I saw the beautiful lighting they did at previous weddings at our venue. (One of my favorite parts of our reception space!) When I first met with Nancy, I showed her some photos of flowers I had liked from previous weddings they did, and she took it from there! She has such an incredible eye--our flowers were truly spectacular. She included little pops of things like rosemary, eucalyptus, purple cabbage, berries, and more, which added such a unique touch to the bouquets and centerpieces. (Not to mention, they smelled amazing!) Our guests took the centerpieces home, and so many of them raved about how beautiful they were!

    Nancy was easy to work with and always available (and so patient!) when I was overthinking things like so many brides-to-be do! When we were worried about bad weather on the wedding day, she had a game plan to rearrange some things in the reception area to make it feel special for our ceremony, if need-be. Everything turned out gorgeous, and we couldn't have been happier! Thank you, In the Garden!

    The flowers for our wedding were absolutely perfect! Everyone commented on how beautiful they were. Eileen was easy to work with and very receptive. My bouquet and the boutonnieres were exactly as we wanted, and the table set-ups were gorgeous. They had a great price and were so easy to work with, even from an hour and a half away.

    I am Ashton's mother. I wanted to take the time to thank you for your hard work in making Ashton and Erik's wedding a day everyone will remember. When they first picked The Water Witch Club for their wedding, I was concerned about how much work it would be considering we only rented the building and EVERYTHING else would be on them/us. I worried how we could make a shell of a building look beautiful and inviting. You and your staff made the venue look fantastic.

    You and your crew did so much more than I could imagine. I know the kids picked flowers that they wanted based on your guidance, but with that guidance, and listening to them, you captured their styles perfectly. Everyone noted how the place looked exactly like them. The attention to detail was pointed out to me throughout the day. From the votives and candles to the table runners to the plants on the porch, everything was on point. I cannot thank you enough for going above and beyond for this affair. You and your people made us feel like this was YOUR wedding. We couldn't have asked for more.

    All day long and everyday since, we have heard from guests how great everything was. If anyone ever asks for recommendations for a florist, I will make sure they know that they would be foolish to pick any other florist other than yours.

    Eileen and the staff at In The Garden absolutely blew us away! They were so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. Eileen understood exactly what we wanted and the execution was flawless. When we walked in to our venue on the day of our wedding we had goose bumps. The venue never looked so beautiful. Our centerpieces were more beautiful than we ever could have imagined and our wedding arch was gorgeous. The bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets were breathtaking. The pictures from our wedding day look like they belong in a magazine. We highly recommend In The Garden- they are truly talented and were a pleasure to work with.     Choosing to use In The Garden for our June 24th wedding was one of the best decisions we made for the big day. Eileen and In the Garden went above and beyond with every detail for our wedding. We were blown away with how beautiful everything looked and the service was unparalleled. When we first met with Eileen, we didn't really know what we wanted anything to look like or what we wanted to include at our wedding but she had amazing suggestions and guided us in the right direction. Our flowers looked beautiful all throughout the wedding day, even in the heat and on the beach. We received countless compliments from guests about all aspects of the floral arrangements and everyone ran to take home the centerpieces at the end of the night. We highly recommend you trust the pros at In the Garden for your next event.     Nancy was very easy to work with. She put together a couple of sample arrangements and I picked the one I preferred. Besides making the very beautiful and unique arrangements, she brought flowers to decorate the wedding cake with. She made the wedding cake look beautiful without over doing it and I liked how the cake matched the arrangements. She worked with me to give me the best looking arrangements for my budget. It was a pleasure working with her.

    While Nancy mostly worked with my mother because I was busy planning other aspects of my wedding, I wanted to take the time to thank Nancy and team for such an amazing job. In the beginning of the wedding planning process, flowers were just not a priority for me at all, but my mom insisted on hiring a florist. I am so so so happy that we did. Not only did Nancy perfectly capture my vision, she went above and beyond by working with the person who rented the porch wraparound (to keep guests on the porch warm during my fall wedding) to us to make sure it wouldn't look messy in photos, since we were having our ceremony in front of that porch. I also want to point out that Nancy was totally understanding about the fact that I didn't want to spend a lot of money on flowers, and was perfectly happy to let me DIY table decorations to my heart's desire. In the beginning, flowers weren't important to me at all and now that the wedding is over, I can't stop staring at pictures of my gorgeous bouquet and ceremony backdrop. That is a testament to Nancy's amazing talents. Thanks for everything!

    If you want a vendor with vision and creativity like none other, then In the Garden are the floral designers for you. They owneres/designers are young and vibrant and think-out-of-the-box utilizing seasonal flowers creating beautiful arrangements and bouquets. Nancy and Aileen are easy to work with and willing to work with your ideas and go a step beyond to make your event truly stunning. We visited three other vendors before our initial sit down consult and knew we were making the right decision in choosing them as they adeptly put together a bouquet based on a blend of our ideas. Also their pricing was quite reasonable and they worked with us on substitutions for even further cost-savings without sacrificing what we wanted to achieve. We thank you both and will use you for our future floral needs!

    From the beginning Nancy saw my vision and brought it to life! Her expertise and guidance were so appreciated! The flowers and centerpieces were beautiful! She and Eileen are great to work with! No matter if it's for a wedding or a bouquet for my home it's made with love and care!     Nancy and her team were amazing! They did a great job making inspirational photos that I sent to them come to life in a unique way. They also were very flexible and even though my wedding went from outdoors to indoors with only 2 days notice, they were able to make beautiful flowers to accommodate our change of scenery.     Nancy & In the Garden are an absolute MUST if you are getting married at the Water Witch Club. They know the venue better than anyone and are extremely experienced with how to enhance the venue without taking away from it's charm. Nancy was a huge help with determining our seating plan, understanding how we could get the most out of our arrangements and she even went the extra mile to help coordinate with my caterer when we had a minor hiccup with rentals. Thank you Nancy for the beautiful flowers, your patience during some minor road bumps and all of your support along the way!

    In The Garden is the absolute best! I'm so in love with their work. We used their services for our wedding reception at the Water Witch Club, ceremony flowers, rehearsal dinner, and bridal shower. Nancy had several consultations with me (the bride) and my Mom. Each time she was patient, offered helpful advice (even beyond floral services), listened to specific ideas I had, and delivered the most incredible flowers I've ever seen on my wedding day. We are still getting compliments on everything Nancy and Eileen put together for us. I had the good fortune of being able to visit my Mom a few times and see them in person, but I know they also do an incredible job if you happen to be remote. Nancy is amazingly organized and saves notes, photos, emails, etc. I really am still stunned by everything she did for us-- the details really made all the difference and our guests are still talking about them. I know we'll be working with these amazing ladies in the future. If you are reading, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

    Nancy did a beautiful job! I really had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted, but she read my personality and the overall vibe of my wedding ideas, and the flowers were exactly what I wanted and couldn't explain.

    We had In The Garden do arrangements and bouquets for our winter wedding. We had an idea of what we were looking for, but Eileen outdid herself with more gorgeous arrangements than I could have dreamt up. Let these ladies do the work for you - they know what they are doing!

    We were fortunate enough to have Winter Storm Jonas blow through on our wedding weekend in January of 2016. What luck! My husband and I were very concerned about our vendors traveling during the storm, but Eileen and Nancy were wonderful. They showed up a day early to make sure our flowers were ready to go before the blizzard hit, and kept our gorgeous arrangements and bouquets fresh and beautiful straight through our delayed ceremony two days later.

    These ladies are invaluable on your wedding day. What a great local business to support. Do yourself a favor and book In The Garden for tasteful elegant and unique flowers that will truly bring a personal touch to your event. Thanks Eileen and Nancy for a wonderful experience!

Nancy met with us multiple times before and picked up on my vision for the flowers right away. Her taste is impeccable and it shows in every arrangement she touches!     Nancy and her team at In The Garden were fantastic and professional. My husband and I are about an hour and a half away from our venue, so we couldn’t make a ton of trips and couldn’t consult with them in person. Nancy worked around us and did a phone consultation. She was also super patient with me when I needed to re-schedule our sessions due to craziness at work or just plain “bride brain.” The flowers were gorgeous and everything was ready for us when we arrived for the first look. My Jr. Bridesmaid/flower girl got to wear the most beautiful/adorable flower crown that everybody raved about. Our centerpieces were elegant and simple, and matched the beauty of the beach venue so well. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to go with In the Garden!

    I cannot say enough great things about Nancy and In the Garden. The flowers were gorgeous and everyone was in awe of them. Nancy did my and my bridesmaids boutiques, centerpieces, Chuppah decorations and boutineers for the groomsman. If you are a smart bride you will use In the Garden. Not only will you have the most amazing flowers but you will not go broke over them!

    It was a pleasure to work with Nancy at In the Garden. She was super friendly and helpful when it came to figuring out exactly what I wanted and what I needed. In addition the flowers, Nancy was able to help with the decor for the ceremony so it flowed perfectly to our reception and cocktail hour.

    I cannot say enough amazing things about the Nancy, Eileen, and the team at In the Garden. Flowers were something that were very important to me for my wedding and they just knocked it out of the park. From the beginning they were so wonderful to work with and immediately got the theme I was going for. I gave them ideas and pictures of things I had liked and they were able to do even better than what I had imagined. The day of the wedding when they arrived with the flowers, I was completely blown away with what they had come up with. I loved every single thing they did from my bouquet, to the bridesmaids, the centerpieces, etc. It was all WONDERFUL!!!! A big thank you to these ladies for helping make my big day so special!!!

    My husband and I got married at the Water Witch this May and we couldnt have been HAPPIER with Nancy & Eileen. They went over and beyond and there is no other florist that can do this venue better! They were very professional and very easy to work with and our flowers throughout the venue were perfection. Not only do they do beautiful flower arrangements, they do beautiful lighting that really transformed our venue.

    In the Garden provided amazing bouquets, tables arrangements and boutineers. Nancy was a pleasure to work with and created exactly what I had asked for. I would recommend her to anyone.     Nancy and her team did an amazing job bringing our vision to life for our wedding at Monmouth Hills. I wasn't very particular with the types of flowers that I wanted for centerpieces, but Nancy was extremely patient and explained what would be in season during our initial consultation. She was very thorough and gave great advice throughout. My bridal bouquet was breathtaking as were my bridesmaids. We decided to add an non traditional arbor the week before, and Nancy sourced some beautiful Cherry Blossoms for us and it really made the ceremony breathtaking and unique.

    Having worked numerous times at the venue and with some of the other vendors, she was able to give suggestions and input that we hadn't thought about. When we were having doubts about a cool front coming in and having to possibly tent our porch, Nancy assured me that it wasn't necessary, making me feel at ease (and she was right!). 48 hours before, when something didn't come in for our decor, Nancy was able to create some moss letters to put in teh decors place. She is truly a pleasure to work with and definitely will work within your budget. We got an initial quote, was able to adjust some things and then add some things back in a few weeks before. In the Garden was truly a pleasure to work with. You can tell that they are passionate about their clients and what they do.

    A side note - If you book at Monmouth Hills, make sure to contact In the Garden. The do the gorgeous hanging lights from the ceiling, as well as the ones on the porch. They also created lighting outside for our cocktail hour.

    i was completely blown away by Nancy and her team. I was a very indecisive bride, I changed the color of the bridesmaids dresses and my overall color palette 3 times. In fact, I didn't settle on my Centerpieces and bouquets until 2 weeks before the wedding. Throughout the process, Nancy did multiple trials for me and we had a very open dialogue about what would work and what wouldn't. She was so dedicated and really wanted to make sure that I loved the final look. I decided on antique hydrangeas and when Nancy received the flowers, they came in a little more blue then expected. So Nancy and her team used 64 cans of spray paint to get them that deep purple and green color that I had wanted. They were stunning. Absolutely perfect and no one knew the wiser. The day of my wedding Nancy came and delivered all the bouquets and boutineers--not one flower out of place. She then went to my church and outfitted the pews with white satin ribbon and white hydrangeas. Onto the reception, she made a dramatic centerpiece at the entrance, added flower accents to the cocktail reception and even left some additional flowers to be placed on our cake. Nancy is professional, has an amazing creative eye and is dedicated to making your event more beautiful than you can imagine. Our wedding was so beautiful and we have Nancy to thank for that. I would recommend her to anyone!

    Nancy from In The Garden was wonderful to work with. On our first meeting I brought in pictures of what I wanted for my wedding and Nancy was able to work in my budget to bring my dream to life. The center pieces, bouquets and arrangements came out perfectly! On the day of the wedding everything was on time and set up perfectly, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. In The Garden was amazing!

    Nancy worked so hard for my wedding. She surpassed what I had envisioned. She kept in contact and within the budget we spoke about. She gave different options and had great ideas.     We had a very small private ceremony and provided very limited notice and they were a surprise. The team not only kept the surprise, but did an outstanding job filling our needs perfectly.     Everything about our experience with Nancy was amazing. We went to see her a little more than three weeks before the wedding, totally last minute, to get centerpieces and accent decorations for the venue, and she was incredibly helpful.

    Not knowing much about flowers, or what to expect, Nancy took the time to sit down and go over everything that we'd need to fill out the space of the venue (where she has done a ton of weddings), AND worked with us to keep it all in our budget. We basically just gave her some broad ideas to work with, and she hooked us up with an awesome altar and beautiful centerpieces and accent decorations. We kept getting compliments on everything all night.

    I can't say enough good things about working with In the Garden. 100% recommend Nancy and her shop to anyone in the area looking for a florist.

    I was originally recommended to In The Garden by my sister-in-law for my wedding. I am not exactly a flower person and knew nothing about the different types of flowers. During my initial consultation with Nancy, she was patient with me and did a fabulous job of listening to what I envisioned for my special day and then she gave me her input on what she can do and different ideas on how to make them even better. She took the time to show me different types of flowers that she had in the shop if I did not know what they were or wanted a visual to help me make a decision. She was extremely thorough and professional. She even let us know of upcoming events she was doing at our venue and invited us to come up and see some of her work in person. All of the flower arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces that In The Garden did for us turned out beautifully and I could not have been happier with them!

    Nancy at In the Garden was 10 out of 10. She is firstly, SO sweet and easy to work with. Super laid back and go with the flow. She's also very knowledgeable about flowers/plants etc, knows pretty much everything you can know about them. Our floral arrangements for our wedding were gorgeous. Personally, I have never seen more beautiful flower arrangements at any wedding, shower, etc that I have been to. I highly recommend working with the team at In the Garden!

    My interaction with Jenna at In The Garden was delightful from the start! She was attentive to my requests and prompt in all of her work. She was most flexible when our venue was not ready for her to set up at the time they had scheduled for her to do so, and she made every effort to make sure that our flowers for the bridal party were as fresh as possible.     Nancy at In The Garden was superb in helping me plan my engagement party and wedding. At my engagement party, I handed Nancy a picture of what I wanted. When I arrived at the hall, the flower centerpieces blew my expectations away. The centerpieces were more beautiful than the picture that i fell in love with. I didnt think that was possible. So at my wedding, i gave her 3 pictures of flowers I wanted, bouquets, centerpieces and church flowers. I was worried free and had no concerns with Nancy and her team. Our guests took home the centerpieces and they told me the flowers lasted a few days. Every bride in NJ should have the priveledge of having In The Garden as their florist. They made sure everything was perfect as if it was their wedding day.

    There just aren't enough great things I can say about In The Garden. I had called dozens of flower shops & been to 3 or 4 before deciding to go with Nancy @ In The Garden for my wedding flowers.

    There were a few deciding factors that "cinched it" for me:
    1) Nancy has such fabulous taste & style, modern ideas and ingenuity.
    2) In The Garden is a local shop & I try to support local business whenever possible.
    3) The pricing was very reasonable. Nancy worked with my budget.
    4) (The most important to me) Of all the shops I contacted, In The Garden was the ONLY one that promised me I would have FRESH Lily of The Valley for my bridal bouquet without charging me a fortune for them!

    I will definitely be using In The Garden for all my flowers in the future!

    I am a gardener myself, so working with a florist that would understand how much I love flowers and be willing to do something unusual was really important to me. I made the perfect choice with In The Garden! Nancy loves plants and flowers as much as I did, and her color choices were perfect for my September wedding. She had lots of other unique ideas too, like decorating the trees and making floral wreaths. I really appreciated that she listened so carefully to my vision and requests, and that she took the opportunity to be creative and imaginative with my bouquet, centerpieces, and boutonnieres.
    Working with Nancy was easy and fun and all her special touches made my wedding feel straight out of the pages of a magazine. That's what many of my guests said, too!

    We were so very thankful to have In The Garden design all of the flowers and draped outdoor lighting for our wedding at The Water Witch club in June. Nancy was such an incredible help in the planning and installation of everything. She was open and honest throughout the process, recommending varieties that would be in season and available. Nancy and In the Garden worked with us on our budget to find alternatives and unique options which we truly appreciated. Even with our last minute additions like filling antique silver pieces with blooms, moving garlands, and placing rose petals on aisle (that weren't even purchased with them!), Nancy made everything seamless and beautiful.

    I could not recommend In The Garden more - from weddings to arrangements, their work is stunning.

    I can't say enough good things about Nancy. I met with multiple florists and she was the only one who would work with me to make my inspiration fit into my budget. Her arrangements were beautiful and looked so much more luxurious than what I paid. I had a winter wedding with red so the colors of the flowers looked vibrant and really popped in my pictures. I got so many compliments and all my guests jumped at the chance to take the centerpieces home. I was so happy with the flowers that I have already used Nancy again for another job.

    For years I have used IN THE GARDEN and have always been more than pleased with the flowers and plants offered. The staff is always helpful and goes out of their way to meet my needs.

    I had such an incredible experience with In The Garden for my wedding. My bridesmaids absolutely loved their bouquets and our centerpieces were amazing! Many of our guests commented by saying they've never seen such beautiful flower arrangements for a wedding. Great florist!

    I am so glad I decided to go with In the Garden for the flowers at my wedding! Nancy was an absolute pleasure to work with - she was extremely helpful and flexible throughout the entire planning process. Most importantly, the bouquets and floral arrangements In the Garden provided were simply exquisite, and far exceeded my expectations. The flowers were so beautiful and truly brought our wedding to life. I would highly recommend In The Garden to all future brides, as I had a wonderful experience working with them.     In the Garden does great work! That being said, they are small and are only available a few days a week to meet. They did work with us to offer many choices and understood what we wanted. The finished products were amazing! The table centerpieces were VERY full of the light blue Hydrangeas and yellow roses that we wanted. The arrangements for the "alter" came out great too! We would definitely use them again!

    In the Garden was one of the best choices we made as far as our wedding vendors. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. When we met to discuss the wedding flowers, I only gave them our color scheme and a few of our favorite blooms, and they were able to provide all the beautiful combinations using their creativity and talent. They ran through all the possibilities of what we might want for our wedding day and made sure to offer alternatives to fit our budget. They were clear in what was included in the contract and were able to include everything we asked for and in our price range! When the flowers arrived on the wedding day, I was floored. I got tears in my eyes - everything was so beautiful and they took care of all the deliveries to the wedding party, church, and reception hall seamlessly. The flowers looked amazing in the wedding day photos. We couldn't have been happier with their work and I would enthusiastically recommend In the Garden's services to any bride and groom, and have already done so!

    In the garden was so wonderful in helping plan for our wedding. Everything turned out even better then expected. The flower arrangements were gorgeous! Would highly recommend.

    Nancy was the florist for our wedding in June at the Water Witch Club and we can't even begin to count how many compliments we’ve received from our guests on the flower arrangements. Not a single detail went unnoticed and she certainly exceeded all of our expectations with everything.

    We were seriously blown away by how she was able to transform our venue into exactly what we wanted. Every detail was done to perfection from the bouquets and boutineers to the centerpieces and planters around the room. I would highly recommend Nancy for any wedding or event as she takes so much pride in her work and it definitely shows!

    In the Garden did an incredibly beautiful job on our wedding flowers. Not only did they have amazing ideas, vision and artistry, they delivered everything they had promised and more. I could not have ever imagined the type of beauty they put together and I would highly recommend them based on their amazing skill and taste level. I felt that Nancy not only understood the look I wanted for my wedding, she actually built upon it and made it even more lovely AND for a VERY reasonable price. They are honorable professionals who deliver what they promise and they have wonderful suggestions. Because they are a small business who takes care in each job they do, it was not always easy to get a hold of Nancy but other staff made sure to be responsive and when it comes down to your wedding day, Nancy will put in all of the back breaking work to reach out to you and make it just right. I was more than satisfied with their service and I will always cherish the photos I have of my beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, etc.

    We used In the Garden for our centerpieces, bouquets, ceremony flowers and for accents at our venue. They did a great job! Nancy started following me on Pinterest so she could see what our vision for the wedding. The flowers came out even better than the pictures on my page. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is because they were sometimes a little difficult to get a hold of, but they did fantastic work!

    Nancy and Eileen were great! They made sure we had good communication about what I was looking for. Guests commented how beautiful all of the floral decor was. It added to the whimsical feel of our day.

    When it came to choosing a florist for my NJ wedding -- I knew I was going to be picky. As a home magazine editor, I had pretty specific ideas on what I was looking for my in my wedding flowers -- and they weren't super traditional. I wanted organic looking bouquets with lots of greenery and trendy blooms -- a style that many area florists just don't do or won't replicate.

    Nancy at In the Garden was a DREAM to work, and she was my flower savior for my wedding. Not only was she super professional and knowledgeable, but she actually listened to (and remembered!) my ideas -- something I can't say for all my wedding vendors. I was able to sit with Nancy for over an hour a few weeks before my wedding and pick out every bloom with her. She used the vessels I had collected with ease, and did SUCH a wonderful job decorating my venue with all of the arrangements. Another pro in hiring her was that her team can also do other event design -- we had string lights all over our venue that she put up.

    I'd recommend In the Garden to any bride!

    I had a wonderful overall experience with In The Garden. Nancy was a pleasure to work with and understood my vision right away. The amount she charged for the job she did was unbelievable. She was affordable and produced a beautiful product. The day of the wedding she was perfectly on time to drop off flowers for me, the church, and the reception. I would like to say thank you to In The Garden and to Nancy for being such a wonderful Florist for my wedding, my big day would not have been the same without you!

    The flowers we got from In the Garden were absolutely beautiful! Everything came together perfectly, & we're happy that Nancy & her crew were able to be our wedding florist for our big day :)

    I was very happy with my service from In The Garden. It was very easy to meet and select items to add to my bouquet. My favorite part was their help in delivering and setting up. It made my wedding day that much easier and stress free! I have recommended them to all my family and friends planning events and will use them again in the future for other events needing floral arrangements.

    First off, Nancy and her team at In The Garden are extremely attentive and very kind. That being said, I was a little disappointed with my wedding flowers. My bouquets were very underwhelming; I asked for an all white/cream based bouquet with greenery for myself and my bridesmaids. When the flowers were delivered, I felt that they looked nothing like how I imagined. My bridesmaids bouquets were all different sizes, too. The boutonnières were nice, but were all different sizes as well. I also noticed that the flowers were browning and didn't look fresh. All of this aside, my centerpieces and other florals that were created for my wedding day were absolutely beautiful. In the end, I would recommend In The Garden to new brides, but would definitely say to be clear in what you want, provide pictures, and follow-up to ensure you are getting exactly what you are paying for/expecting.

    Overall, my wedding florals came out nice, but it was a difficult process, pricey, and (in some cases) not what I asked for. I received my initial quote, and we met once again about months out from the wedding and she prepared a trail bridal bouquet. We made some more adjustments but it took weeks to finally get a revised quote. This revised quote had many price and item discrepancies (i.e., missing items, price increases, double charged items). Since it was not a hard itemized list, it was difficult to follow after numerous revisions. I ended up going into the store front to discuss face to face. In the end, I never received a true itemized priced receipt; it was more of a generalized pricing guideline.
    Cons:
    -I paid $8/foot for greenery garland sans florals. Although this garland was plenty for the table spread, $8 per foot is pretty steep. Additionally, the greenery they selected had orange berries on them. Not the end of the world, but also not what I asked for.
    -I asked for greenery on my three cakes (see photo attached). This cost $65. This is extremely overpriced for what I received.
    -I requested that my bridesmaid bouquets would have only greenery. Unfortunately, they decided to include white flowers throughout all the bouquets even though I made it clear to only have leaves.
    -My bridal bouquet did not include the O'Hara rose as promised. This is a distinct white and peachy tone rose with a large and loose pedal. As you can see from the photo below, they were not included at all. A plain white rose was included. I also included a photo of my trial bouquet (you can see the large peachy rose front and center).

    Overall, they made is difficult, were not responsive, always seemed too busy and never remembered me or my event details, and they did not follow my requests for my details.
