Impulse Strings played at my Central Park wedding ceremony at Cop Cot and they were amazing!!! The communication from the start to the day of was great and they played several songs at our request and played them at the specific times we wanted. This was one of the things I looked forward to the most in the whole wedding, and it will always be such a special memory for me walking up to my soon to be husband hearing Electric Love by BORNS playing! Thank you so much!!! -

For starters, Impulse Strings did an amazing job translating Max Richter's 'Spring' to an arrangement for our ceremony processional, and the beautiful day matched with their beautiful music just had me levitating out of my body. What an experience. One of the most devastating parts of the day was missing their performance at the cocktail hour bc we got too busy with photos, but our guests were raving about them and leaving us desperate to stalk down footage. We loved that their catalogue was so eclectic, with everything from classical bops to Thong Song, Taylor Swift, Kendrick - you name it. As the groom's mother walked in, she was touched to hear them playing a Matt Monroe song arranged specially for her. At this point, my now-husband and I are frantically brainstorming what other events we can throw just to have another round with them. Ally was a great communicator and the full group were also so lovely and friendly when I managed to stalk them down just in time before they left. Highly recommend!! -

Impulse Strings was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. The music they provided during the ceremony and reception was perfect to set the tone for an overall unforgettable day. Super professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They even learned two new songs for us which was really special. We loved their large music catalog which was filled with so many fun songs, both classical and modern. Definitely recommend this awesome group!! -

Alexandria was extraordinary. Not only was she able to accommodate our special request for violin (The Beatles, “With a Little Help From My Friends”) but she also offered an entire catalog of pop, rock, and classical songs for us to choose from. Easily one of the best and most fun aspects of planning our wedding was just deciding what songs we wanted to hear Alexandria play. And play them she did. She carried our entire ceremony and cocktail hour for our wedding, setting the mood, and putting everyone at ease in a light, relaxed mood. At every turn, she was kind, generous, easy to work with, and made the process as seamless as it could possibly be. We would absolutely work with Alexandria again, no question!

Truly Incredible
Allie played for our ceremony and did an absolutely incredible job. Our guests could not stop raving about her. Not only was she an incredible musician, but she was amazingly professional. Allie was early, set up everything she needed, worked with our Dj to test things the sound system well ahead of the ceremony, and even checked in with me to ensure there wasn’t anything I needed from her that we hadn’t yet discussed. Hiring Impulse Strings for your event or wedding it truly a no-brainer. It was without a doubt my favorite touch to our day and we will forever remember it. -

We had Alexandra and her String Quartet and Pianist play for our wedding, and the music was absolutely gorgeous. We had one moment when the ceremony timing didn't go as planned, and Alexandra improvised like a pro -- fantastic! We are so grateful and we can't recommend strongly enough. -

Allie the violinist was performing solo at our private elopement ceremony which took place on March 18th, 2023. I’ll be forever grateful for her professionalism, punctuality, hard work, and very pleasant personality. She inquired about our preferred songs and was super easy to work with. -

We booked impulse strings straight after our venue, we really wanted an artist to sing during our ceremony and cocktail hour.
Even when our original artist had to cancel, Impulse found someone amazing and gave us further options but we immediately chose Mariela as she was incredibly talented and made our ceremony and cocktail hour extra special. -

First and foremost Allie is an incredible musician! She is very professional, quick to respond and has a fantastic set list. She was able to add custom requests to our set list and made excellent suggestions on changes we should make based on her professional experience that I truly appreciated! She is wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to a friend! -

A wonderful musical duo to have at your wedding or any event!
My dad recently turned 75 and due to the pandemic, my family had to get creative with ideas on how to properly celebrate such a milestone birthday. Impulse Strings was a delight to work with. They emailed us their list of music and we were able to pick out songs we wanted to be performed for the hour. The ladies arrived on time and set up in the living room. They were dressed nicely, were very professional and were extremely pleasant individuals. They know an extensive amount of songs ranging from the classical to pop/rock hits. Everyone from my 75 year old dad to my 4 year old niece had a very nice time watching the performance... entertaining for all ages! I would highly recommend Impulse Strings. -

Alexandria truly made our wedding ceremony so magical. She learned multiple new songs for us with back tracking and really went above and beyond for us. Her playing was gorgeous and we received multiple complements on the music. Due to COVID-19 we needed to change our wedding plans dramatically and decided to last minuet add a violinist to out ceremony, and are so o happy we did! We highly recommend her to anyone looking to add beautiful live music to their wedding day. -

Although as bride and groom we didn’t have the opportunity to meet her, we heard her playing beautifully for our outdoor wedding ceremony. We had unforeseen delays; and so our planned order of songs were different. Alexandria was present and still played for our guests, and after we arrived then our procession and recession. We definitely recommend her; she was responsive and professional during all interactions. She has a warm personality and we hope to book her again if needed or see her again in future performances! -

I had Impulse strings come play as a trio on my original song that I recorded ! Alexandria was super kind to find all the players and organized the group for me. Everyone came in prepared and on time, super patient with all of my details and requests and were willing to try as many takes as we wanted. The results turned out amazing.. all the players performed greatly and with so much emotion! Thank you so much Impulse Strings for your contributions to my song! -

Alexandria from Impulse Strings was very responsive and flexible during the wedding planning process. She was able to recommend a violinist and was successful in accommodating our tight timeline. Adam, our violinist, played beautifully at our ceremony and was very personable. Our guests enjoyed the music and complimented us on his performance.
