First off, I want to say I am so happy that we found Nick and Ed. I knew right from the start that we had found the best DJ service in the area, and they both helped to put us at ease about the planning process.
Nick was so helpful with any questions I had, he gave great suggestions, and his overall energy and vibe was exactly what I needed. As soon as we got talking, I didn't feel like I was "just another client" - I felt like he was genuinely interested in me as a person and what our vision was for our wedding day. Right away I knew he was the right person for the job, and if I could go back in time, I'd choose Impulse Entertainment again and again.
The app was amazing and super easy to use. I loved that I could input songs/playlists right from Spotify - this made it super easy for me to add the songs that we wanted. I also loved how much planning they put into the app itself - all the various questions regarding speeches, blessing, wedding party, etc. - this template was super helpful and made a big chunk of the planning effortless.
And lastly, Ed ---- I mean wow. He was our guy for sure. I so appreciate his calm demeanor, and helping us feel comfortable and seen on the wedding day - not just as bride and groom, but as real people. There were multiple times he would come up to us to check in to make sure we were good and to see if we needed anything - this meant a lot to me to have someone looking after us.
He was quick to think when we had family slideshows play - he was able to hook up another speaker - since one of the chords didn't reach to my laptop. In this situation, he didn't waver or give any hesitance that he couldn't get the job done - he took action and was able to figure it out -- we so appreciated this!!
Also, his improvisation during the dancing hours was amazing - one notable moment was when some of our groomsmen had started to break dance on the floor - not only did he play the perfect music for them, but he also even did like a mini contest for them saying something like, "All right give it up for contestant number 1!!, number 2!!, number 3!!" It's hard to explain in words, but everyone was cheering and loved it - it was such an impromptu moment and he handled it perfectly.
We are so amazed at the overall seamless experience of choosing Impulse Entertainment. We are forever grateful to you all and will always recommend your services to any person that asks for a good DJ service.

Our DJ, John, did an amazing job!! My husband and I have very diverse musical tastes and we were able to put together a Spotify list to point John to the music we enjoy. He pivoted when he needed to for last minute changes to the schedule. And did the greatest things to get people on the dance floor! We have had several people ask for the playlist even - it was that good! Put simply, Impulse Entertainment did the best job possible! We felt so cared for from the start of planning to the event. Two words - BOOK THEM! -

If I could give Impulse Entertainment a million stars I would!! We are so incredibly happy that we went with Impulse Entertainment for our wedding ceremony and reception. From the very beginning, Nick was so energetic and so helpful in planning our day, taking our vision and bringing it to life. Nick is so talented, passionate and dedicated! He checked up on us during the reception and made sure to let us know what was going to happen next during the reception which really meant a lot to us. Impulse DJ's was truly such an amazing company to work with. Nick worked so closely with us to create our dream wedding day. He was as excited as we were for our big day. He sent us monthly emails to check in with us and make sure we were on track. He made the whole process much less stressful and more enjoyable. Our DJ Steve, was AMAZING. He was so lively and outgoing during the whole day. He played all of our songs exactly as requested from the ceremony to our last dance song. He kept our guests entertained and on our feet the ENTIRE night. There was not a moment when the dance floor was empty. Steve helped keep us on track during the day and checked in with my husband and me all day long. He guided our parents and siblings through our speeches. I would highly recommend using this company for your DJ services. I cannot stop watching our reception videos back. Just AMAZING. Thank you Steve and Nick for everything. -

You can stop hunting and just book Nick and his phenomenal team now. I am a dancer and my groom is a live music/ DJ snob and Impulse Entertainment blew our expectations out of the water. Planning was a pleasure and Nick is an absolute expert. He thought of things in the planning process that even my wedding planner didn't ask and he helped me figure out the best answers for me. I was really worried about how to blend my favorite country music with my groom's favorite EDM music but Nick and his on-site DJ John made it look easy. His equipment, both sound and lighting, were impressive and made our dance floor the place to be. DJ John was the perfect MC for the night, even with my crazy family. Thank you Nick & John for giving me, my groom and our families the most unforgettable celebration of our lives. -

Nick is not only a phenomenal human, but an amazing talented DJ.
Nick knows the wedding industry, he helped guide us through every aspect of the day. He let us get as specific as we wanted for certain parts of the day, and then knew us well enough after our meeting that he handled the rest. He knew how to read the room, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Seriously, the floor was PACKED! 3 weeks later, and I am getting so many compliments on my amazing DJ. He had HELPFUL relevant advice about the entire planning process. The most amazing hype man. His wife Susan did our photo booth and she was amazing as well. Such kind people. They genuinely cared about us and our wedding. He checked on us all night long, we love nick so much. Hands down the best. Do yourself a favor, and have Nick at your wedding. -

Great dj service, I had a few special requests and they helped make a dream a reality. Simple quick choreographed three part dance with some very important people in my life and the mother son dance, they helped walk us peice it together and it was amazing. Through the night guests were always on the dance floor. Their portal for music selection made everything that much simpler as well. -

My wife and I were married October 13, 2023, but our DJ vendor, Impulse Entertainment, started working on our wedding months in advance. We had multiple planning calls and emails with owner, Nick Vera, in the months leading up to our date and his enthusiasm and positivity made the process fun and easy. Nick walked us through Impulse Entertainment’s various packages and ala carte services to make sure we got exactly what we needed for our big day without price gouging us with unnecessaries and extras. He’s truly an honest man who understands the stress of weddings and wants to take off as much from your plate as possible.
As far as planning, Impulse Entertainment’s wedding website was easy to use and fully integrated our Spotify playlists. This ensured that the precise versions of the songs we wanted were played and was as easy as adding songs to a playlist during our morning commutes.
The package we went with also came with a photo booth and we as well as our guests were extremely impressed with the set-up. Not only did we have the booth, but we had an attendant (Susan) present on our wedding day, the booth automatically printed photos for our guests and could also send them directly to our guests’ cell phones. Susan set up the entire booth and seamlessly helped our guests figure out the technology. Not only this, but we had digital copies of all the photos within 48 hours of our day.
Finally, the day of our wedding our DJ Steve checked in early and was the first to bring us our drinks after the ceremony making sure we had a drink even though we had to take photos during cocktail hour. This was just the start, Steve checked in multiple times throughout the night, respected our wishes to not have song requests, nailed our ceremony and walk-in reception music, and overall kept our friends and family dancing until the very end. He even last minute stayed an extra half hour for us when we did not realize our contract called for a shorter time than we remembered and wanted the party to continue.
If you want first-class service for not just your big day, but the months leading up, don’t hesitate to book Impulse Entertainment.

We have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Nick as our DJ. Nick is the owner of Impulse and we were lucky enough to be able to book him. Nick went above and beyond for us, in the few meetings leading up to the event he was attentive and very detail oriented--even helped us solidify a timeline like he was our planner! On the day of the wedding, he met with us instantly when we got to the venue--grabbing us drinks, making sure we ate (KEY). We felt so taken care of by him, something that I was not expecting from a DJ. Our dance floor was POPPIN, incorporating the music we love to keep our guests dancing the night away. Our guests raved Nick all night, saying his energy was unmatched whether on the mic or behind the computer/turn table. Thank you for making our day so special and so FUN! -

Nick and his team from Impulse Entertainment were our favorite vendors from our wedding! They are professionals and so fun to be around, very positive people, and easy to work with. Nick is extremely responsive and easy to get in contact with. It was easy to tell that Nick and everyone else on the team were very genuine and cared for us and our wedding day. When I mentioned I caught covid, Nick sent me a care package. What wedding vendor does that!? They are also very thoughtful and sent thank you cards to our parents after the wedding is another example of that. Nick was also very generous in offering to help us on things outside of DJ stuff and giving recommendations. We found our photographers and videographer through Nick. Impulse Entertainment has great package deals and prices to choose from. They have a very organized way of getting things done in a timely manner. They had monthly check ins and reminders which were helpful. They were very accommodating. I wanted to surprise my wife with a dance with the groomsmen before the dance floor officially opened and they made it happen. They walk you through the the timeline of the ceremony to the end of reception to ease all your worries. They're all about addressing your concerns and minimizing your stresses and maximizing the fun of the wedding night. Our DJ was Steve for the night and he was awesome as well. He constantly checked in on us and made sure we knew what was going on, kept the night on track with its many festivities, and was an awesome DJ. We recommend Impulse Entertainment so much! Thank you for making our wedding such a memorable event in our life. -

Nick was absolutely amazing. We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Yes the music was awesome, but it was all of the extra effort that he put into the wedding day preparation/experience that really made the difference.
After speaking with him in planning meetings we were so very relaxed with his confidence and genuine enthusiasm. We gave him little guidance on what we wanted hoping he could guide us through song choices and flow of the night in general and he did exactly that.
I will be campaigning for him to be the DJ at all my future friends and family’s weddings and will pay the fee for it too. That’s how much we loved him! -

Nick was the most fantastic DJ!! He was incredibly attentive, prepared, and brought super upbeat and positive energy. Nick was extremely proactive and began reaching out 6 months before the wedding to collect our ceremony and reception information. We had a very thorough planning meeting before the wedding where we walked through all the details, and he provided some helpful guidance for the wedding day activities. It gave us so much peace of mind going into the wedding day knowing that Nick was on top of every detail. Nick knocked it out of the park on the wedding day and exceeded even our best expectations. He checked in with us and our families throughout the night to ensure everything was going great, and he played great music that got everyone dancing. In addition, Nick's amazing wife Susan also brought her A game and did a wonderful job running the photo booth. She also checked in with my husband and I multiple times throughout the night and created a super fun photo booth environment for our guests. My family and several of the guests were absolutely raving about the DJ afterwards and could not have had enough positive things to say. If you are looking for a wedding DJ and/or photobooth, this is your sign to go with Impulse Entertainment! I met Nick in 2016 when he DJ’d my sisters wedding. My whole family fell in love with him. He goes above and beyond the title of a DJ. After my dad passed a few months after the wedding, he reached out to our family. I knew then that if/when I got married, there was no argument on who I was hiring. Fast forward to 2022 and after years of staying in touch, my husband and I hired him, without hesitation. Our dance floor was NEVER empty and we had multiple people ask us for his business card for their weddings/events. I had nothing but the best experience from impulse entertainment. From the beginning of the experience all the way down to the last minute! Nick was an incredible DJ and just an amazing human! He took the time to get to know us and understand what we wanted! The online planning tools are super easy to navigate and Nick was there to help any step of the way. Seriously one of the BEST vendors we worked with for our wedding!!! I can’t thank them enough! So responsive, the best planning tools, and easiest to work with. From the very beginning Nick was extremely helpful in asking us what we wanted for our wedding day and gave us some of the best advice. He’s a true expert in what he does and even helped us with our wedding day timeline. I didn’t have a wedding planner but I honestly felt like I had one with Nick. This was a vendor I never had to worry about - I would tell my fiancé “oh I know Nick will respond in an instant”. That’s how responsive and reliable he is. I was so impressed with the online planning tools and being able to link my own Spotify playlists and create wedding must-play & do not play lists so easily. They were very familiar with our venue which put me at ease as well. We had them do our ceremony music, reception music and photo booth. Susan was so sweet and helped our guests with the photo booth. Steve was our DJ and absolutely killed it with the music! All our wedding guests were dancing until the very end. We decided to do an anniversary dance and he did an awesome job explaining to our guests how it works and just keeping the energy up all night long. Steve was always right there next to us asking us if we needed anything and checking if we were ready for the next event. I remembered that they mentioned they get us our first drink and when I sat down at the head table I just smiled knowing they absolutely deliver on every promise down to that little detail. It was truly a blast and the best day ever. I will 1000% recommend them to anyone I know (i actually already have)!! -

No need to look elsewhere, hire Impulse Entertainment! Planning our wedding from out of state, we mostly had to rely on reviews to select our vendors. After reading the raving reviews and communicating with 5 other DJ vendors, Impulse Entertainment was our #1 choice. And Nick (founder) did not disappoint and went ABOVE and BEYOND any expectations. Like others have said, having Nick was like having another wedding planner. From the start, the communication was always responsive and helpful. Their portal for creating playlists, timelines, and planning details were easy to use and we used the timelines they created for us to help our wedding party know what would be happening the day of (yes, you get all of that in advance, it was great!). Our final meeting with Nick also put us at ease as he walked us through every detail to make sure he planned the perfect night for us. And it was the perfect night- in addition to getting us drinks, continually checking in with us (and at one point I think Nick even cleared some dishes for us!), the music and energy generated was off the charts! I had guests say goodbye to me only to be spotted still dancing 20 minutes later because the music was so good they couldn’t leave. We danced till the houselights came on! From my teenage guests to my 91-year-old uncle, all old me the music was amazing and it was the best wedding ever. Nick- thank you so much for making it an unforgettable evening for us and all our guests! -

We had the most amazing time. Seriously, Nick kept everyone dancing, and the transitions were SO good!! We cannot say enough good things. We had so many compliments on the music. We had SO much fun. Truly was the best day of our life, and when the dancing came, it zipped by.
We also used the photobooth, which was run by Susan, and it was a hit with the guests!
I loved that they gave us monthly updates so it didn't seem overwhelming!
Overall FANTASTIC energy, and would pick them 100 x's over! -

Nick’s communication was amazing! He is so personable, organized and really knows how to make your day special. We had monthly meetings leading up to our wedding where we reviewed every detail to ensure things went perfectly. You can guarantee the order of everything will go as planned because he is just THAT detailed!
Nick also knows how to get your guests on the dance floor and keep them there! He has so much passion for what he does; you can tell he loves his job:)
We also added the photo booth option to our package. Our guests loved it and took great advantage of it. Susan assisted our guests and was extremely helpful in doing so!
All in all, my husband and I could not recommend Nick more, He will be sure your day is stress-free and you will not regret booking him and his team!!! -

Don’t hesitate, book with Impulse Entertainment DJs now! Nick is amazing! He has so much energy and gives all of his effort to make sure that your special day is perfect! Whether you want a calm event or a jamming party, he is there to meet your every need. I loved how communicative he was; he was so easy to get a hold of and always responded promptly. I also appreciated how his company would send me reminders each month on tasks that I should be completing; it really kept me on schedule and alleviated a lot of stress. His music website is also very user friendly and has a wide selection of music! In addition to meeting your music needs, Nick is all about making sure all aspects of your wedding run smoothly. He offers to help in any way possible and even offers to bring you drinks during your reception! I was referred to Nick by a friend that hired him for her wedding and I am definitely going to recommend him to my other friends as they plan their weddings. My husband and I had the best experience with Impulse Entertainment! Nick was absolutely amazing! A friend from work told me about him and from our first initial phone call with Nick, we knew we wanted to work with him! Nick was there for us every step of the way throughout our wedding planning journey and was amazing to reschedule with when we had to post pone our original date. Planning a wedding comes with so many emotions, and then having to reschedule on top of it all, doesn’t help. Even though Nick was our DJ he was ALWAYS so helpful with everything, even things other than our entertainment portion of our wedding. Every e-mail he sent or phone call we had with him, he reassured us everything will be amazing and if we ever needed ANYTHING he would be there for us! I mean, not many people can say their DJ is willing to help them and be there for them through all the ups and downs. Nick is truly one of a kind and was one of our favorite people to work with. The night of our wedding was absolutely amazing, and Nick exceeded all the expectations we had! He checked on us throughout the evening and made sure we always had a drink in our hand and was the best and getting everyone on the dance floor! Wow! Nick earned the MVP title of our wedding - our guests could not stop RAVING about how amazing our DJ was! From the first call, I knew Nick's enthusiasm would be perfect to set the energy for the night. Nick was extremely professional and organized through the whole planning process (especially as we were delayed a year by COVID), and would consistently check in to see how he could be of service. Nick was always on top of everything we needed and the Impulse Entertainment website was a great way to fill out all information and upload our music recommendations. And boy, what a fun night! Even with 50 people, we had all attendees out on the dance floor. Nick also took care of getting our guests drinks, clearing plates, and helping my mom with some decorations. He laughed with our guests while remaining professional and keeping an eye on anything that needed to be done. The music was perfectly tailored to the crowd, and the whole room felt his energy (so much so that everyone didn't want to leave at the end of the night!). I highly recommend Impulse Entertainment - it will be your best wedding decision yet! -

We used Impulse Entertainment for their photo booth for our wedding night! I worked with Nick from the very beginning as far as communication goes, and he was very responsive and extremely easy to get along with. When our wedding got rescheduled due to COVID and switched to private property, Nick was sweet enough to offer out a helping hand wherever needed and even offered to bring along someone else to help make the night go smoothly since I wouldn’t have an on-site coordinator. During these times, vendors show their true colors and I would hire them a million times again just based on how they treated us the entire process. The photobooth was easily our guests’ favorite thing about our reception, and mine too! Their photo booth is so different from any other photobooth I have seen at weddings, and I think that is another reason why our guests loved it so much. Steve did a great job running it all night and we got many compliments on him and his fun personality, too! Though we did not use their DJ service, I know they would be excellent with that and would hire them for any and all services they have:) -

I unfortunately did not get the pleasure of having Impulse Entertainment DJ my wedding (thanks COVID) but we booked them prior to the pandemic and I wanted to share our experience working with them. From our initial phone conversation with Nick, we knew this was a vendor we wanted to work with. Nick’s energy is infectious, and he made sure to listen to exactly what we wanted to ensure we were a good fit for each other. We of course booked with him shortly after our first call. Nick was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process and was the most communicative and service-oriented vendor we worked with - his responses to emails were usually lightning fast and he made sure to guide us through every step along the way, giving us a checklist of what we needed to accomplish in the months leading up to the wedding. Unfortunately, we had to cancel Impulse’s services due to the pandemic. Nick was beyond understanding and accommodating. Should we decide to throw a larger celebration later when life gets back to normal, he will be the first person we call. I can’t rave enough about the level of service we received. If you get the chance, do not pass up the opportunity to book Impulse Entertainment! -

Nick was amazing to work with from day one! He was so fun and energetic even on our phone call/facetime meetings which made us so excited for our wedding. He was so easy to work with throughout the whole process and always replied so promptly with any questions I had. The website used to add our songs and make our timeline was also very helpful and easy to use. The monthly emails kept me on track with where I should be with planning and made it not at all stressful! At the wedding he kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time and was so helpful throughout the whole night. He always asked how we were doing and was bringing us drinks, and even brought our parents and bridal party drinks throughout the whole night! We would recommend him to anyone in the area! -

From our first meeting with Nick Vera in early 2018 we knew we were in great hands. Nick gets to know you (really know you) as he prides himself and his DJ’s on tailoring the overall program and music to your specific personalities, event type and guests.

Music was a very important part of our recent wedding celebration and we had specific thoughts about the types and selections that we wanted. Nick not only “got us” but teamed up with my husband to explore various types of music for pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail/dinner hour and of course the dance portions of our evening.
The on-line planning tool that Impulse Entertainment has developed combined with their regularly scheduled follow-ups, email updates and reminders made it so easy for us to customize our evening and keep all of the important wedding details on track. Their knowledge of the wedding industry is evident in reminders about things that are totally unrelated to music but were so helpful to us as we worked to keep everything on schedule. Impulse Entertainment was always in touch with us and answered any questions we had promptly thus removing any stress we might have had as we planned every detail of our wedding. Our guests kept telling us how much they enjoyed the music and the party atmosphere that Nick created for us. Multiple guests approached us during our reception to get Impulse Entertainment contact information for upcoming events they are planning.
When you partner with Nick and Impulse Entertainment you become family. It is not just another DJ “gig” for Impulse Entertainment; it is an important family affair to them, and it is reflected in everything they do leading up to and during the event. Nick checked in with us throughout our reception to make sure that everything was going the way we expected while not interrupting our interaction with our guests. He brought us our first drinks saw to it that our wedding party and VIP guests had everything they needed at all times.

Nick vera: best. Dj. Ever.
Nick recently DJ’d our wedding on 8.24.19. Making the choice to have Nick DJ the wedding was easy. Upon meeting him we fell in love with his enthusiasm and passion for not only music but, people. Nick wanted to get to know us as a couple. I remember at our first meeting he said, “when I leave the house I don’t want to tell my wife I’m leaving to DJ a wedding, I’m leaving to DJ Hannah and Andrew’s wedding and it’s going be awesome!” Nick was right, it was awesome! The dance floor was packed! We got SO MANY compliments on Nick’s ability to transition from song to song, his energy, and his ability to “read” the dance floor! We love to dance and music is so important to us. Nick, understood this and communicated with us on a monthly basis to make sure wedding planning was going smoothly, communicate schedules, and to ensure we were happy with song choices. Nick clearly loves his job, music, and people. That’s what makes him so awesome! Without hesitation I would highly recommend Nick Vera to anyone looking for a DJ for any event! -

Nick from Impulse Entertainment was an absolute pleasure to work with for our January 2019 wedding. He checked in with us monthly via email to see how wedding plans were going, offer advice if needed, and get to know us personally. He was flexible and understanding with last minute changes and helped us coordinate a lot of the details for the big day because we didn’t hire a wedding planner/coordinator.
His passion and excitement for his job is contagious!!!! We had people on the dance floor the WHOLE night and all of our guests were talking about how great he was. Nick would check with the whole wedding party throughout the night, making sure we had drinks & asking how he could help. I would absolutely recommend him for your next event. He was extremely professional and will go above and beyond for you.

He just immediately got us, what type of music we wanted, and the type of environment we wanted to create. His customer service, his attention to detail, his passionate energy, and maybe mostly his genuine want to make sure you love his service and his work make me so happy I could cry writing this. Nick made the day run RIDICULOUSLY smooth. There wasn't 1 snag or issue. He kept me on time as the bride. He checked in every month to see what we might need. He helped our guests know when to go and take photos during cocktail hour. He literally did it All. I felt like he was another bridesmaid. Nick is unmatched by anyone in the world. We are trying to figure out how to incorporate him every month for some type of event, just so we can be with him again.
My only regret is that we didn't get a photo with him. Truly regret this. He would have been framed in our home. -

Tiffany Sent on 07/08/2016If I had to summarize DJ Nicky V and Impulse Entertainment DJ's in 3 words I would have to say PROFESSIONAL, ENTHUSIASTIC, and DEDICATED. From the planning process a year-and-a-half in the making to the day of the wedding Nick was there every step of the way to ensure everything went perfectly, smoothly, and exactly as we wanted it. For those of you that prefer bullet points I'll just get down to the facts:
-Professionalism: Nick is the most attentive business professionals that I ever had the pleasure of working with. From our very first consultation he was never late to a single meeting, and we had about 3 or 4 of them along the way. He responds almost instantaneously to emails, which is very important to any bride trying to make big decisions. He also sent confirmation emails, reminders, follow-up emails, etc to ensure that he and myself were always on the same page.
-Enthusiasm- Part of the reason my husband and I hired Nick on the spot was because of his obvious passion and pride for the work that he does. With every encounter he was full of energy and enthusiasm which showed us that he was sincerely interested in hearing what we wanted and could really throw an awesome party.
Dedication- One of the things about Impulse Entertainment DJ's that sets them apart from the rest, in my opinion, is the monthly check-ins. Each month in the six months leading up to the wedding I received a check in email from Nick asking me how things were going and if he could help in any way. I was a bride planning a long distance wedding, so any help from a seasoned veteran was extremely appreciated! These check-ins helped me to stay on track of tasks and reduce my stress levels.
Bonus! Nick has worked in the industry for over 10 years, and was extremely helpful in recommending vendors! From his recommendations I was able to book my videographer, photographer, and baker through him. -

Kristin Sent on 07/16/2015Best DJ ever! Nick is a consummate professional, and is one of those people that you think, "wow, you can't possibly be that excited about everything", but he IS! He is passionate about making sure you have the best day of your life -- our wedding venue was difficult in that he had to move equipment from the ceremony site to dinner site to dancing site - and he did so quickly, with no break in the action, and still found time to check on the groom and I multiple times to make sure we were happy and had a drink in our hands or whatever we needed. Unlike some DJs I've experienced, he didn't make it "the Nick show" - he made it all about us and our guests and everyone had a blast! So many guests asked us for his info and told us he was the best wedding DJ they'd ever seen (and we're in our mid-30s so our guests have been to A LOT of weddings!). Book Impulse Entertainment and you will get much more than you ever expected! Thanks Nick!
