No regrets!! Excellent food and service!

We were beyond pleased with the food and service provided by Impressive Catering. David was excellent to work with, from emails back and forth regarding details and setting up last minute meetings to talk about our menu face-to-face. He helped us create our own menu for a Southern style BBQ buffet. He was willing to try new things with us and we were so pleased with how everything turned out, it was delicious! The roast beef and the pulled pork sliders for our late night snack were my absolute favorite! He also helped us coordinate an ice cream bar for dessert even though we provided the ice cream from a local dairy bar. He was very accommodating to ensure that we were happy. We also hired David for bar service, which was customized as well. The bartenders were wonderful! It made things much easier for me by bundling these services. Overall, we have absolutely no regrets with hiring Impressive Catering and would recommend them to anyone needing catering services. David made it so easy to plan and was outstanding to work with!

Amazing staff, service, and food!

Working with David was an absolutely pleasure from the tasting to our wedding day! The food was absolutely amazing and all of our guests enjoyed it just as much as we did. The service was perfect as his staff were very professional and helpful during during the evening. I will gladly recommend Impressive Catering to anyone looking to catering an event!

Highlight of my wedding

Having Impressive Catering cater our wedding was the best choice we could have made. The food and service was incredible and exactly what we wanted! Our guests are still talking about it 4 months later.

Great brunch on Charter boat

Impressive catering was able to design the specific brunch we were looking for on a charter boat with no real kitchen to work with. Together we designed a menu and Impressive catering brought everything with them to make the day a success.

Highly Recommended

Working with David and his staff for our wedding was great! The food was amazing and he was very accommodating even with last minute changes to the food setup due to rain. He was able to include a little bit of everything that we wanted on the menu. I would highly recommend David and his staff to cater any event!

Absolutely amazing! We hired Impressive Caterering for our backyard wedding with 65 guests. David and his team was phenomenal! David was professional and extremely responsive throughout the planning. Our guests raved about the food and the service. We could not be happier with our choice.

I hired Impressive Catering for food and bar service at my wedding and highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event - especially if you're managing guests with dietary restrictions.
All of our food was delicious! I may be bias but it was the best food I've eaten at a wedding and our guests all agreed. They really went above and beyond.
Their staff is fabulous! So many of our guests commented on how friendly the servers and bar tenders were.
David was fantastic to work with. Beyond the usual planning, we live in CA but had our wedding in CT and the distance was no issue with our plans.
I can't recommend Impressive Catering enough!!! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

Impressive Catering is the best!! David was great to work with and responded quickly to any question I had. My guests are raving about the food. They stayed and helped with the cake which was super helpful and we are very appreciative! We plan to go to Davids restaurant every year for our anniversary. We couldn't have asked for better service or food. Thank you David!

Impressive Catering was just that - impressive! David was so easy to work with. He listened, to what we needed and wanted and was very flexible. The only thing I really cared about having at my wedding was chicken parm. That wasn't on their list but David made it happen. Not only that, but he made some that was gluten free, just for me! We wound up having to call them last minute for help with a few things and they did so without batting an eye. I didn't hear anything negative about the food and many guests came up to us during and afterwards asking us who did the catering. We were proud to send them in Impressive Catering's direction!

We had a great experience with Chef David. Very friendly, helped us customize the dinner menu to fit our style. Met in personal several times to confirm details. Everyone raved about the food, it was delicious. Even our wedding photographer said she eats a lot of wedding food and this was one of the best wedding meals she's had. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food we got. Will be recommending impressive caterings to everyone!

My husband and I had a shared 50th birthday party with over 50 guests planned in our home. This was the first time that I held such a large catered event and David provided both guidance, advice and flexibility. His team was amazing and demonstrated wonderful care all the while ensuring everything went flawlessly. I had multiple guests rave about the food and how it was outstanding. I would highly recommend David and his team.

David and his staff went above and beyond our expectations. The wedding reception was in our home. We left to attend the ceremony and in our absnce David and his staff stepped up and greeted guests, gave direction to the DJ and even coordinated parking.
The cocktail hour and buffet were beautifully presented. The food was excellent, again, exceeding our expectations.
He was respectful of our home, keeping his work areas spotless. The wait staff was friendly yet uninstusive.
We highly reccomend Impressive Catering Services.

Our granddaughter's graduation party was a huge success because of the quality and attentiveness of David and his staff. We had over 60 guests and everything went off without a hitch from the table settings to the food to the attention to detail - EVERYTHING!!! We highly recommend IMPRESSIVE without reservation! - They impressed us!!!

I was indeed very impressed by Impressive Catering! We had them cater our Sunday brunch for after the wedding. They were very professional, kind, and served very tasty food! Unfortunately, I messed up and didn't anticipate that more people would come than would RSVP, so we ended up having almost twice as many people come, and as overwhelming as that might seem, Impressive Catering took care of it promptly, and they even apologized for a slight delay in serving food! Given the surprise of how many people ended up coming, I was very impressed by the fact that they were able to react so quickly. They were also very flexible with letting my family bring in a few centerpieces from the previous day's reception, and the Tea Kettle is a very comfortable venue in general. I received a lot of compliments from guests regarding the food and the service.

Impressive Catering was extremely professional, attentive to detail, aware of special dietary restrictions and made all appropriate substations. Everyone at the events raved about the food, the service and the professional of the staff involved. The clean up was outstanding. We can't wait to plan the next event. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I chose to work with David for a couple reasons. My wedding venue did not have preferred vendors, but they did have a list of over 30 recommendations. When I narrowed it down to 5 and reached out, David was the first to respond (within hours). When I emailed him requesting his availability for a phone call, he simply called me, saying how excited he was at the prospect of working with us. After hearing from all 5 vendors, David was also the only one who told me that, based on our venue's layout, buffet was the only way to serve food without it getting cold. His dedication to helping us and his obvious passion for what he does made him an easy choice!

Throughout planning, he was an amazing resource. He was accommodating to our needs and requests, and he and his team were fantastic on our big day- attentive to guests, helpful, and hard working. I couldn't be happier with our choice to work withImpresdive Catering!

This was for a senior group (ages 65 to 101) and each and every one was extremely satisfied. And believe me I NEVER get them all to agree on something. They have already requested that I bring them back and we have scheduled them for Feb. 17.

David and his associates provided to me the service and professionalism that made my corporate event a tremendous success. They were prompt, organized and very professional all the while being friendly and attentive to my guest. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared with an ample amount left over so no one went hungry.

It's not often that we would give anyone a complete 5 Star rating but in this case it was well deserved. David was very easy to work with. He has everything thing thought out and was able to deliver a great event for our daughter's baby shower. He missed nothing in the presentation and the food quality was excellent. His staff was very helpful in making our guests feel right at home. We would not hesitate using his services again, you will not be disappointed!

By the way if you love corn beef hash be sure to try his breakfast/lunch establishment The Tea Ketle on RT 1 in Old Saybrook, my husband can't say enough about it!

My husband and I are wedding photographers so we have worked with numerous caterers in the past, and none of them compare to David and his staff. We knew from the moment we met with him that we wanted him to be there at our wedding with us. They were all polite, friendly, funny, courteous, professional, and we heard from a ton of our guests that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and they loved that it wasn't 'typical wedding food.' I can't say enough good things about Impressive Catering and we now recommend them to all of our clients!

I cannot say a bad thing about David & his team. They were friendly, the food was fantastic, he replied at a moments notice to any emails and it was good vibes throughout the whole process. There was a moment before our introductions I was about to pass out and one of the girls cleaning up got me a big tall glass of water and made sure I was doing ok. He tweaked the menu to fit what I wanted to include/remove and overall I was a very happy bride because of his services. There is no doubt about who I will go to for catering needs in the future.

Thank you very much for everything David. I will be making trips out to Old Saybrook just to go to your restaurant :-)

We could not be happier with the expertise that David of Impressive Catering and his crew provided us for our event. My daughter was married at The Branford House on September 20, 2013, and David and Donna and Alissa and the rest of the catering staff were as accommodative, friendly, professional as can be. Everyone who attended has commented on how good the food was, how professional and courteous the staff were, how helpful everyone was! The entire experience was extraordinary - from soup to nuts!!!

I would recommend David and Impressive Caterting to anyone who asked and we would NOT HESITATE to use them again for another event. Thank you, David! Go Cowboys!!

I can't say enough about Impressive Catering. I was working with someone I didn't know from 1400 miles away via email. David responded everytime I had a question and my Celebration of Life came off perfectly. The food was lovely and all my guests were impressed and several said this is exctly what I would like to do when the time comes.

David (Impressive Catering Services) provided a truly professional service from the start to the cleanup; he supported the entire wedding event and was quite thorough. He knew how to prepare the wild game dishes as well as the traditional fare, and did not 'box us in' to what might be convenient for him, he was creative and detail oriented. His staff were also professional and helpful. David helped guide us during the planning stages of our wedding, offering ideas and suggestions to support our vision of what we wanted on our special day. This definitely kept us out of problems we would have run into if we had not had his input early on. Overall we are immensely satisfied with his services and would recommend him highly!

David was the professionals professional. He was courteous, he delivered what was promised, he helped with suggestions and made follow-up phone calls periodically to be sure we were still on track with everything. The food was delicious and his staff was very professional and courteous and kept that professionalism and smiles throughout the entire service, despite a rain deluge this state hadn't experienced outside of an hurricane -- including mud up to their ankles.

I would not hesitate to recommend Impressive Catering to anyone looking for a caterer for any occasion.

Our event was an outdoor rehearsal dinner for 100. David was great from start to finish. He was very accommodating to changes in the menu and helping us out in other ways. He responded to emails and phone calls promptly. His staff was fantastic! The tables looked beautiful and the service was great. I would definitely recommend. The only problem we had was that we had arranged for mashed sweet potatoes and we received mashed white potatoes. They were fine, but we were disappointed. That is the only reason we can't give all five stars.

David was amazing to work with!!! He helps in any way he can and answers any questions right away. My husband and I are beyond happy with impressive catering and we are still receiving compliments about the food at our wedding.

Great Service

Hired to cater a 50th anniversary surprise party. Food and service was terrific. Surpassed our expectations and at a very reasonable price. Will definitely use them again if the opportunity arises.
