Riley is the best

My dress shopping experience was everything I could have asked for. Riley was so helpful, kind, and patient with me. She worked with my budget and was very mindful when making suggestions to me. She wasn’t pushy and helped me in every way she could. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this store and Riley specifically ❤️

Loved this place!

Came here hoping to find THE dress. And everyone was so attentive. Especially the girl who was helping me. She was very patient and kind and brought in numerous of dresses for me to try on. By the last dress I tried on I finally found my dress. I highly recommend here if you want that full on bridal experience!

Wonderful experience

Loved the shop, everyone was so nice and they helped me find my DREAM dress at such a. Great price. $800 for the dress without the veil.

I love my dress!

This place is so cool and unique. They offered a more intimate environment for my family and I to pick out a dress. They were super helpful and supportive. I had no idea what I wanted but they helped me find the perfect dress. The prices are also very reasonable and I am glad I was able to save where I could.

Easy peasy shopping experience

I had a great experience. I wandered in about an hour before closing thinking I wouldn't find anything but still wanted to check out the store. I'm plus size and had a very specific look in mind. I told the owner what type of dress I was looking for and the name of a designer whose designed I liked but didn't come in plus size. She said she had something that was similar just in. She wasn't wrong. I found a beautiful dress that had all my must have features and for a fraction of the price I thought I would have to spend for a similar dress. Now she only has what she has so it can be hit or miss but I shot a bullseye.

Found the one!!

I was able to find my dream dress after just two options. I went to a boutique fell in love with a dress that was almost 6k. I knew I was never going to spend that much on a dress and was heartbroken but when I to I do the dress I fell madly in love with a similar but even better dress for $750!!! Trust me give them a try!

Wonderful!!

After trying 5 different bridal shops in Austin with no luck finding what I was looking for, I drove to San Antonio to try I Do The Dress I Do. The owner was amazing. She wanted to exhaust all options in my budget first. We tried on a number of dresses when she decided to check the racks one more time. She came back with the perfect dress and right within my budget!!!! She cared so much about making sure I had found what I wanted. She wasn't pushy about anything and respected my limitations on what I could spend. There was another lady there who needed a dress super fast. She found one for this lady that was lovely and low cost that the woman was brought to tears, she was so happy. It's a joy to see someone who puts the person as their focus while running their business!

Highly recommend!

I went wedding dress shopping at about 6 different salons. This was the first one I went to and then the last. I found the perfect dress and veil plus the alterations shop they recommended in my area was great! The staff is very nice. I had great experiences here and the prices can't be beat.

Keep an open mind when dress shopping and listen to your consultant. My consultant made sure I knew that wedding dresses were made to be deconstructed if need be. I ended up buying a lace mandrian neckline dress that transformed beautifully into a vneck. I would never have gotten my dress if I hadn't listened to my consultant. I am SO glad I did!! They had a lace cathedral veil that went perfectly with my dress too!!

If your a plus size gal this is the place for you. I went to several wedding dress places and they never had my size, but they did say well we can just put one against you to see how it would look. I'm like mmmm no. I heard of this place from a another girl at another bridal place and I'm so glad I went. They have the most beautiful PLUS SIZE wedding dresses and very affordably. Thank you Thank you Thank you a million time i found my dress and I am in LOVE with it.

SO glad I found this place! You'd never know this little hidden gem was there in that office building, but it's chock full of a great (and always changing) selection of beautiful wedding dresses for a fraction of the cost you'd pay at a typical bridal store. Especially perfect for the non-fussy bride who just wants to find a great dress at a fantastic price.

When you are ready to buy your dress go to I Do the Dress I Do... Look at all of the websites before and die of sticker shock, then get your budget together and head over. The sweet ladies at I Do The Dress I Do are so wonderful, they truly love what they do and will only book one bride in the store at a time so you get the royal treatment. They will not try to upsell you so be honest with them about your budget. The beautiful girl before me had a set budget and the sweet ladies at IDTDID made sure to only show her dresses in her price range, because holy moly how heartbreaking would it be to find an awesome dress and not be able to afford it???? Oh wait, that is MOST OF US!!!! AAAAANNND that is why you should go to IDTDID. You will not be disappointed!

This store was fantastic. I am a plus sized bride and a tomboy. Plus I planned my wedding in less than 40 days with a Day of the Dead fiesta wedding. I found a gorgeous dress for less than $600 dollars that had the bustle already sewn in, already cleaned, and needed no alterations. They are awesome ladies too. They are 100% honest with if you need alterations and are willing to work with any budget.

After visiting two bridal shops, I started to lose hope but something was telling me that things would turn around once I arrived to Idothedressido - and THANK GOD - I was right.

If I had the chance to say this to every single bride-to-be who is currently looking for a wedding gown NOW - PLEASE VISIT THIS BRIDAL SHOP. I promise that you will have have an amazing experience after you see their bridal gown selections, the amazing prices and excellent customer service they have to offer.

Here are more reasons why I loved this place:

- Website: No gimmicks, no lies, very transparent about their business - which IS key to helping the customer understand what idothedressido bridal shops has to offer.
- Service: I really like knowing that Lisa (owner) was who I spoke with each time I called the store: Lisa picked up when I scheduled an appointment. Lisa called me the day before my appointment. And it was Lisa who answered the phone when I called letting her know I was lost and running late. Lastly, it was Lisa who greeted me and walked me through the shopping experience the minute I finally arrived to her store.
- Selection of Dresses: You will be blown away with the variety of styles and designer dresses this shop has available for you.
- Pricing: OK - HANDS DOWN - BEST PRICING IN TEXAS. I was blown away knowing I walked away with a STUNNING Mori Lee gown for less than $600!!!!

I walked away with my dress, veil and the biggest smile on my face. My mother hugged Lisa and thanked her over and over - and that says ALOT. Thankfully, I forgot about the crappy experience I had earlier in the day - I was so relieved that idothedressido saved my day.

At first I was skeptical because when you first walk in the building you have to look for the room where I do the dress I do Is. But once you do the ladies were so helpful. Lisa was amazing she knew exactly what would look good on my body type. Ms. Gabby helped me in the dresses & out since I traveled a couple of hrs just to come & didn't have some one other than my fiance to go with me. The first dress she picked out is the one I bought. The first one I tried on& absolutely was satisfied from head to toe with how gorgeous the dress was & only for 875 with tax & bag. No extra Alterations needed since it's a pre-owned dress. It fit me amazing. I couldn't have felt more beautiful & like a bride. :) I recommend and would refer :)

My daughter bought the first dress she tried on-- these are samples so you cannot order. The owner was great and able to find just the right dress for my daughter. We also bought a veil. The owner also gave a great recommendation on alterations that were at a great price. I have recommended this place to everyone I know whose daughter is getting married. Saved me about $2000 that I was to put into a beautiful venue.

I had been researching dresses online for some time and discovered Allure Bridals as my favorite designer. Funny, because every single dress I fell in love with out of Lisa's collection just happened to be an Allure dress (I had no idea beforehand). From the moment I started scoping their selection at the San Antonio Bridal Show, I knew this would be the place for me. I tried on a few other dresses at other shops, but when I made my appointment with Lisa, I fell in love all over again. (And let me just point out that I rescheduled my appointment like 4 times, and Lisa was always overly-accommodating.)
Her kind staff helped me swim in and out of several dresses until finally stumbling upon THE ONE. With Lisa's encouragement and a discount I had received from the bridal show, I was able to seal the deal with a nice discount...on a designer dress off the rack!! It was completely meant to be. I will absolutely be visiting again for my veil and other accessories.

I will praise Lisa Jo till my lips turn blue! I LOVED her and her shop. She has hundreds of dresses to chose from and you get personal attention from her (HONEST attention at that). I was very overwhelmed in trying to find a wedding dress, and places like David's bridal and chain retail shops were tough for me- i planned mywedding in 6 months and they kept making me feel very behind schedule and were shocked I hadn't picked my dress at least 9 mo in advance. When I walked in to I do the dress I do, it was one on one attention from teh start, and she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. She gave honets feedback, which i appreciate. I also found my seamstress through her and she was wonderful and affordable as well. Speaking of affordable, I got my originally >1000 dress for only $400. And it was beautiful!! Highly recommend this shop!

I’m a non-traditional bride who has NEVER been very girly, so I was absolutely DREADING trying to find a dress for my upcoming wedding. In addition, I was shopping all by myself, so I needed someone I could rely on for an honest opinion…not someone just looking to make a sale. After reading the reviews for this shop, I decided to call Lisa and make an appointment. No harm, right? WOW…. I am SO happy I did. Once I arrived, Lisa listened intently to the details of my wedding, the kind of dress I was interested in, etc, etc, then skillfully pulled a few dresses for me to try. When I say a ‘few’, I mean four dresses….that was it. Less than an hour later, I had come back to the ‘one’ dress that stood out the most. We pulled it on once more and fully laced the back to better judge the fit and, viola! - I had my gorgeous dress! I’m not big into designers, so I can’t help anyone out there…but I am big on results and I can promise that this will be a very positive experience in dress shopping! Lisa is very sweet, knowledgeable, and most importantly (to me), she was honest about what looked good on me and what didn’t. She offered comments, both good and bad points, about each of the dresses I tried on that day and simply said my face lit up when I found my dress! Thanks so much for everything Lisa….

Loved loved loved this place! The owner is an absolute treasure and her talent and knack for finding brides the perfect dress is like none other. She knows what will look good on someone and she is honest about it. She takes the time to give personal one on one service and the prices CANNOT be beat!

The quality and service are a breath of fresh air in a world of non-existent customer service. You will not regret going to IdothedressIdo for your special day! I found the dress that fit my body, personality, style, and budget and the look on my groom's face as I walked down the aisle proved this!

Loved my dress ! Great prices ! However I wouldn't recommend using the seamstress she recommends! The lady that altered my dress should just not ever touch another wedding dress! After she took out the zipper and put a corset back in the top didn't fit anymore. She told me to go get some tape and it would work! By this time im freaking out because it was a week till my wedding....lucky my best friends mom is a seamstress, (should've taking it there in the first place) Needle nook ! Took it to her and she fixed it made it look amazing!

I found my dream dress at I Do the Dress and I couldn't believe the price. Lisa has a huge stock of beautiful dresses for amazing prices. She was also great at helping me find the perfect shape for my body type and genuinely cared about how I felt and looked in my dress.

Lisa was so nice to me and my family. Her shop is quaint but she packs a TON of dresses in it. She wasn't fake and was very easy to talk to. Her shop was the second shop I went to and as soon as I tried on my dress my whole family knew it was the one! Me being my indecisive self decided I should keep looking throughout the day, but every dress after it didn't compare. At the end of a VERY long day of shopping Lisa was nice enough to come back to her shop for us to pick up the dress. Also her dresses are priced SO well. Price was not an issue for me but it was nice to find such an amazing dress without having to fork over a large sum of money! I would recommend her shop to everyone regardless of budget, it is so worth it.

I was a little hesitant to try this place after finding it on Craigslist. The office building it's located in makes it seem a little shady but the actual place is set up just like any other bridal dress store. When I said I wanted to spend about 200 and I liked lace, they looked at me like I was crazy. They showed me a couple that were 300-400 after my mother insisted the budget was flexible. Lisa pulled out a beautiful dress that she had recently marked down from 400 to 200. It needed adjustment but I could tell it would be perfect and you can't beat that price for all lace. I used one of the seamstresses she recommended, Terry. She is such a sweet person and extremely affordable. I went in for a fitting last week and the dress looks amazing. She listened to exactly what I wanted and didn't try to talk me out of anything. Overall, I ended up spending 300 on the dress and alterations. Still seems like a lot for a dress I'll wear once but I know that's insanely cheap for the beautiful dress I got. Lisa is really great about getting back to you and setting up an appointment quickly. I really only had to try on 2 dresses before I found mine. Unless you enjoy wasting your money, don't go anywhere else until you've tried this place

Lisa Jo is amazing - there is really no other way to describe her and her shop! I was not looking forward to a huge dress shopping ordeal so I kept putting it off until I pretty much only had a month before the date. Additionally, my wedding was very small and less formal so I didn't need a full-on gown w/train, etc. I gave Lisa Jo some basics about me and the ceremony and she nailed it. I mean - it was insane - she went rack-to-rack and had six gowns for me in no time. I'm not an easy fit - I'm short, big boobs, and apple-shaped - so I wasn't expecting much. I couldn't believe it but four of the six gowns not only fit me (or required very little alterations that could be done quickly) but really fit my ceremony. Plus Lisa gave really good advice about possible additions and/or alterations. For instance - I am self-conscious about my arms and Lisa suggested adding cap sleeves to my sleeveless gown in a light tulle - which turned out so pretty. It gave the dress such a vintage feel - I loved it! I was in and out of there in an hour and half w/my dress, some ideas on how to make it even better, and a beautiful headpiece - spent less than $500 total too (another thing that blew my mind). Couldn't have been easier. Love, love, love her! Also - if/when you do go here - you should use Blanca for your alterations (one of the ladies Lisa reccommends) - she was responsive, fast, thorough, and went above and beyond for me.

Lisa was so accommodating and wonderful! She does all that she can to find you the right dress and to ensure that you are happy with it. I could not say enough about how great IdothedressIdo is. You can start there (that's what I did) or you can find the dress of your dreams elsewhere and she can help you find it for less expense, or something similar. I got my BEAUTIFUL Alfred Angelo dress from I Do The Dress I Do for about half of what I would have paid in the store. I felt like an absolute princess, and I received so many compliments on it. People were speechless when they saw me in it, and I cannot say enough about the personal service I got in choosing my dress. If you are looking for a brand new dress at about half the price, give them a call! They are super sweet and will do everything they can to make you look and feel like a princess!

I emailed her about a burgundy alfred angelo i was sure she wouldn't have, and she emailed a few hours later saying she could get it in my size for 1/3 the price i was quoted in the boutique! thought this was totally bogus until i actually went to pick up the dress a few weeks later. the dress had minor flaws that were easily fixed by a seamtress that the vendor recommend.

From the moment I made an appointment with Lisa I knew I had found the woman who would help me find the dress. She is super savvy about all shapes and sizes, what flatters, and what will give your day the wow factor. Don't spend a ridiculous amount at a cookie cutter boutique or chain where your just another dress...go to Lisa! She will make all you wedding dress dreams come true!

If you are worried that you'll get a cheap dress at a cheap price don't --- Lisa carries name brand dresses at amazing prices. She is also incredibly professional, understanding and attentive. Do you know how fun it is to have the whole boutique to yourself and know that any dress you pick is in your price range? We had a blast! My sister and I walked out of there with two gorgeous dresses (double wedding) for less than the price of one dress everywhere else. I am so grateful this store exists, it proves that you can look beautiful at any price range.

AMAZING SERVICE!!! I can't thank Lisa enough. She worked with me and my mom until we found the perfect dress!! I purchased my wedding dress from Lisa Jo almost a year ago and my BIG day is coming up in a couple of weeks. I just LOVE my dress and it was well worth the price - even with the costs involved in alterations. I used one of Lisa Jo's "preferred vendors" to alter my dress AND my maid of honor's dress and Teri did an absolute WONDERFUL job. Lisa Jo was awesome! I can't express enough how much of a pleasure it was to work with her on finding my dress. I loved Lisa Jo she was amazing! I was on a serious time crunch as in I had just won a contest for the most amazing wedding and I had about 6 days to find a dress. Lisa Jo called me immediately and set up an appointment for that evening. When I got there she was warm, caring, encouraging and she literally found me the perfect dress. No alterations were needed and I was very thankful, because I didn't have the time. Her shop was great and stocked beautiful dresses at very reasonable prices. She was willing to work with my budget and was just the most wonderful lady. She really made me feel special and that is a trait that you don't see everyday. I will recommend her to everyone I know who is looking for a wedding gown. Thank you Lisa Jo and I DO THE DRESS I DO. We are so glad we found Lisa Jo! The dress was such a wonderful value and it was absolutly beautiful. There were so many compliments. We used on of the seamstresses on her recommended list with success. Not only did we get the dress from her, but the tiara and a veil with crystals. We needed more crystal buttons for the back of the dress and she provided that, she gives everything her own personal touch. Thank you so much Lisa Jo, you made the dream come true (and helped us stay in budget)!

This isn't so much an opinion as a nice story about my wedding dress - I got married nearly 1 year ago and I originally wanted to rent the dress, as it would only be used once, didn't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money, and then we would have another reception in the UK so I would need to own the dress, but at least I got to wear it twice (and it got washed twice).

So the day after my husband proposed; me and my mom went to have a look at dresses from I Do the Dress I do, just to get an idea. You know what happened next - I found the right dress, the first one I tried on!

Because the shop was fairly new and the dress was already made and the alterations would be minimal, it cost me $390. It included the veil, hair flowers, petticoats and a garment bag. I gave a deposit on the spot and even after looking some more (one of my friends was also getting married and I went along with her) I still didn't like any dresses more than mine.

I love the dress because it didn't cost me a fortune, made me look fantastic, I got to use it twice! Thanks for a great experience!

Extremely helpful. I was dreading picking out a dress. I tried David's Bridal and I left p!ssed at their service. They were aggressive and did not listen to anything I said.

IdotheDressIdo listened carefully and then picked a handful of dresses. I bought the first one I tried on. They didn't pressure me and gave me honest opinions.

I've already referred a friend who bought her dress there.

They made a task I dreaded into something that took 30 minutes or less and was an extremely happy woman.

I just had my wedding (June 9th) in Florida, but purchased my dress from IdoTheDressIdo in November of 2017. After a horrendous appointment at another dress location, IdoTheDressIdo allowed me to bump up my appointment and really helped me find the dress of my dreams. If you are ok with off the rack dresses, this is the place. I got a designer dress (Maggie Sottero) at a third (if not less) of the price if ordered from a boutique. Loved the dress! It was a size too small and was assured that it would be ok. Ended up being a bit of a big deal with alterations, but I had an experienced seamstress who was able to make it work. The owner and stylist (Melissa, I think), did a great job at hearing what I was looking for and finding it - they found a dress that was more than I could have asked for, again, at a crazy price!!

Oh my gosh! This store I'm so glad they are where they are! I had such a fun experience trying on so many of their dresses... to in the end find the perfect dress I will wear! They were beyond helpful with everything, they just love what they do and are always making sure your okay. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else but here! They truly help you make your day magical as ever. A big plus was their tiaras don't even get me started on the beauty of the tiaras! You just have to go here, even if your just trying on make sure they are in the list!

I had the most amazing dress!! I got tons of compliments and was the envy of all my gal pals. I even had a tourist approach me and wanted to photograph me. This place is the fairy god mother of dress shops, you need to visit this place if you can't afford to spend a billion dollars on a dress that makes you feel like a princess. The owner is so personable and treats you with great care and respect. Totally visit this vendor, you will not be sorry!

I got the dress of my dreams for half the price. The biggest thing to remember is that you need to be mindful of alterations. The lady assured us that my dress would be able to be let out two dress sizes. My tailor said that a lot of dresses could be let out but mine was all lace, and there wasn't much room to work with. Luckily she made it work.

I got my wedding dress from here in March of 2018. I was on a budget ($500-$800), but they were able to find me a beautiful dress that was at a good price and already in my size to save me some money on alterations. I loved the dress as soon as I put it on, but there were some cosmetic issues with it when I got it. It was a white dress, brand new, yet there was substantial yellowing in the lace around the train and some beads were missing off of the top of the dress. The missing beads were hardly noticeable, but the discoloration at the bottom made me doubt the newness of the dress. That being said, the ladies working at the shop were very helpful and they tried to get as much yellowing off of the dress as they could before we left. The dress was already at a discounted price so even though it had cosmetic issues they wouldn't lower it any more. Also, I had put the dress on hold at their store earlier that morning (for $100), and I came back around 4:00pm to make the final purchase, but I had a few bridesmaids with me that weren't with me when I first tried it on. The store was not busy at all, there was only one other girl there finishing up her appointment, and they refused to let me try on my dress again because they were "closing soon". Technically speaking they weren't closing for another hour, and it would have taken me 10 minutes tops to try it on again. I would have been done before the other girl even finished her appointment. That's really one of the main reasons why I can't give them 5 stars, in my opinion that's pretty bad customer service, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that they were nice. Over all, I had a good experience here, and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

The dress selection was great, I had to buy off the rack and I was able to find a beautiful wedding dress that with some minor alterations I was able make exactly what I wanted.
Great price point, good selections, location is off of main highway and easy to find just small space to change possibly great with only one person but not whole bridal party going for viewing.
