We are beyond grateful to Kari for making our ceremony so special! From start to finish, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Her organization, professionalism, and communication were exceptional throughout the entire process.
She worked closely with us to write beautiful vows that truly reflected our love story, and took the time to carefully organize every detail of the ceremony at the rehearsal, making sure we felt completely prepared.
Just before the ceremony, she came to visit me in the bridal suite to check in on me, make sure I was feeling calm, and, to my surprise, reminded me to drink water (something I totally forgot to do in the chaos of the day!).
Thanks to her attention to detail and calming presence, our big day was stress-free and beautiful. I cannot recommend her enough – she was truly a gift to our wedding and helped create memories we'll cherish forever.

This was a Dream-Come-True wedding. It couldn't have been any better! Kari is the most wonderful, caring and professional wedding planner I have ever met. She truly went above and beyond in an unbelievably short amount of time (due to the groom's military commitment) to create a ceremony that was just beautiful, thoughtful, sweet, romantic and more than we ever dreamt of! Beautiful Day!
Kari was wonderful to work with and we couldn't be more pleased. She listened to what we wanted for our wedding and made suggestions/recommendations along the way to help make it perfect. We chose to have a small intimate ceremony with just the two of us. The ceremony took place at a lovely spot at Sanibel Moorings, with a beautifully decorated driftwood arch and a flower petal sprinkled pathway leading to it. My bouquet and his boutonniere were made from hand picked flowers out of the properties gardens. Our vows were written just for us and the ceremony was more than we could have asked for. Kari and her staff were exceptional!

Wonderful energy and communication!
We hired Kari to officiate our small, intimate wedding ceremony. From the very first phone call, I felt wonderfully comfortable with her and knew she was the officiant for us. Kari really took the time to get to know both of us to construct a ceremony which met our vision and expectations. She did that and then some! As we read the ceremony draft, I cried. She was also very receptive to the minor edits/changes we wanted made. On the day of the ceremony, Kari arrived early and worked hard to make sure we had everything how and where we wanted. If I had one small negative, it would be that she wore a white dress (which was consequently very similar to mine). I would highly recommend Kari for any of your officiating needs!

We found Kari on a list of preferred vendors at wedding venue we were considering for my daughters wedding. We ended up switching Venues but I am so glad we stuck on with Kari. She was fabulous from the very first moment I spoke to her over the phone very responsive with her dates and her follow up. She has an uncanny ability to tune in to People and her instincts about creating the right environment for the bride and groom and their families made my daughters wedding all the more special. She was extremely professional, she had a great understanding of each member in the wedding party, and the dynamics that held the families together, and she did an excellent job in providing an environment that appealed to everyone of us. If you are looking for someone who is professional and completely present and in the moment, and treats every ceremony as a special -one as if she’s doing it for the very first time -I would recommend having Kari officiate your most important event!

The perfect day!
Kari was fantastic and made my wedding day a dream come true! She was so easy to work with and really took the time to get to know my husband and me. Our wedding was a bit non-traditional and Kari was able to capture each of us individually as well as us as a couple in the ceremony that she wrote. It was sincere, classy, thoughtful and funny all at the same time. From the moment we arrived at the venue, I felt like the bride that I always wanted to be. An Amazing Experience
From the first interaction with Kari we knew she would take great care of us on our special day. She was always responsive to emails and phone calls, genuinely excited for us and to be a part of our big day, and her warm personality and hospitality was better than we could have hoped for.
Kari made sure all the little details were covered and officiated a beautiful ceremony for us. She also recommended an awesome caterer (Bailey's - also the best grocery store on the island!) who then recommended a really cool indoor space, and last minute at that, (The Founder's Room at the Community House), as it rained on our wedding day.
Kari was so wonderful, accommodating, and flexible with helping us, and as a new friend, we plan to visit her next year during our anniversary trip back to Sanibel.

Truly Greatful We Had Kari
Kari did not miss one beat in organizing, officiating and executing a wonderful memorable intimate beach wedding for our daughter and son-in-law. Her initial questionnaire provided them with the opportunity to make important decisions regarding their special day. Communication was excellent with everyone involved. The bride, groom and both sets of parents were relaxed and fully engaged thanks to Kari’s capable direction. She successfully planned the groom’s first glance photo, pics by the driftwood and a very quiet secluded ceremony right at sunset on the beach. It was perfect thanks to Kari.
This was a second wedding for both the bride and groom. As Mother of the Bride, I consider myself a seasoned planner and with my family, experienced many bridal related vendors in years past. None of these vendors come even close to the services provided by Kari Cordisco at I Do Weddings.
The best advice I can give to brides, grooms and their parents is to think carefully about your day and call Kari. You have the vision. She will make it happen. I highly recommend her services to future brides and grooms looking for the very best in wedding services.

Amazing Experience!
On July 28, 2018, we had the pleasure of having our wedding ceremony at Sanibel Moorings on Sanibel Island. Everything about the day (and week that we stayed) was amazing! Living in New York, I was nervous about having a wedding somewhere else, but Kari was phenomenal at making sure that everything went off without a hitch. From the first time we met, I knew that we were in good hands. Kari works hard to ensure that you get the wedding that you want. She allowed me to share our wants for a relaxed, beach front wedding and offered suggestions for a personal touch. She understood that family was the center of our wedding and set up a beautiful sand ceremony for our children to take part in during the ceremony. She took the time to walk my sister through piecing together a beautiful handmade bouquet using the flowers from the Sanibel Moorings botanical gardens and managed to piece in our color scheme throughout the ceremony. Kari went above and beyond at making sure that not only I, but all of our wedding guests were well taken care of during our stay and on our wedding day. Kari made us feel comfortable during a time that can become very nerve-wracking. Kari has a unique way of relating to her clients, making them feel special, and making them feel like friends. We will definitely be returning to Sanibel Moorings in the near future!

Was an amazing wedding!
Kari was amazing! Booking online you always have worries that everything may not be as it seems or that they are just telling you what you want to hear so you book with them. With Kari that was not the case and all our worries washed away the moment we met in person. The venue was amazing and the staff was excellent! We were originally going to get married on the beach but Kari suggested that we get married near the beach but not on it. I’m glad we took her advice! The coloration of the photos were amazing and we were still able to get beautiful sunset pictures on the beach after the wedding. PS) Kari cried too.

Kari was absolutely amazing and helpful throughout the entire ceremony planning process. She responded to all questions my husband and I had and provided us with resources of examples of unity ceremonies and vows. On my wedding day, Kari was great and helped make my wedding day feel extra special. She was there for me to calm my nerves and gave great advice on how to truly appreciate every moment of the wedding. I am very thankful that she was the officiant at my wedding.

Kari did an overly amazing job on our vow renewal! She also does weddings. She was the full package and then some! Throughout the whole time up to our big day she emailed me details and asked questions to make sure our day was perfect! She thought of all the little details that make a day just that extra special! She kept us updated on the red tide which we didn’t see on the beach. I loved all the decorations she put up for us and the location she picked could not have been any more perfect! She knew the island very well and picked this beautiful 6 acres of botanical gardens with butterflies and tons of different plants that most were even labeled so you could know what the plant or flower was! Sanibel moorings is the place to go for your wedding for the full package!!! The sand ceremony was such a beautiful touch, the celebratory toast at the end with champagne and the signed sea shell was so touching and so memorable. The beautiful bouque for me and my daughter was so beautiful I decided I didn’t even want to use the bouque I brought because it was no comparison to how beautiful hers was. Her personality too is so inviting and she is so passionate about your day being perfect! I would give her more stars if it allowed! My guests loved everything about the vow renewal and were all talking about it after how much they liked Kari and the beautiful location. She knew where the best pictures were to take also to make perfect Garden pictures at Sanibel moorings! Beyond amazing of an experience for an August Florida vow renewal and the weather was not that hot at all with a cool breeze from the ocean. My guests enjoyed the walk way to the beach as well to collect some of the most beautiful shells and sand dollars!

We were married at Sanibel Moorings Resort by Kari. I have nothing but good things to say. The day went smoothly and stress free. Having a destination wedding was definitely the way to go. Kari made the process go efficiently by answering any questions we may have had as well as offering advice we hadn't thought of. We could tell that we were working with a true professional. She was easy going, on task, productive, and most of all FUN. I would highly recommend her.

Our accommodations at Sanibel Moorings were perfect. The staff was wonderful and Kari (the General Manager and wedding extraordinaire) went above and beyond to make sure that we were relaxed and taken care of!
Kari is extremely responsive and so much fun to plan with and to have standing by your side!

Our wedding called for rain and she was right there with me checking the radar every couple of minutes. She helped ease my nerves and assure me that all would be fine. It was imperative that I chose the perfect getaway. My fiancé (at the time) and I were planning our elopement in Florida, a place that we both have always loved. Having never been to Sanibel Island before, I discovered Sanibel Moorings after finding out that they had elopement packages, via iDO! Weddings by Kari. I did some cursory research of the resort, and of the area, and I was very excited to share my find with my future bride! We both became quite enamored with what Sanibel Moorings had to offer. I contacted Kari Cordisco, who was not only an incredible, accommodating coordinator for our elopement, but became a great friend as well!
My wife and I were wed on a gorgeous, semi-private area of the beach at sunset. The ceremony was intimate. A warm, calming breeze came upon us, with the sound of small waves crashing in the background. The moment couldn't have been more perfect. We loved it. It was more beautiful, and more memorable than we could have dreamed of. Thank you so much, Kari!

Booking our officiant was one the last things we did before our wedding, oops! But Kari did an amazing job we bonded immediately over our mutual love for Disney! We weren't able to meet before the rehearsal unfortunately, due to the lateness of our booking and other life events, but we were able to talk with Kari over the phone, and we gave her access to our wedding website so she could get to know us better. We meet at our rehearsal a few days before the wedding and Kari came prepared with a couple of options for the ceremony as we had a glass ceremony which was the first one she had done but she was excited to try something new. She made the rehearsal run smoothly even through the birds that invaded our rehearsal space. On the day of our wedding Kari arrived early to help make sure that the ceremony went off with out a hitch. If you are looking for a amazing officiant look no further!

My husband and I cannot say enough about the love and care that Kari provided us leading up to and during our ceremony. First, she got to know us and really took the time to find out what made us tick as a couple. Then, when we were deciding what we wanted her to say as the officiant as well as what readings we wanted to be read at our ceremony, she guided us so calmly and confidently. She helped us set the tone of the ceremony so that it reflected the uniqueness of our relationship, and it was so wonderful to hear her words and ours intertwined.
Many times, weddings become about the reception rather than the ceremony. I know that my husband and I had been to so many weddings where the ceremony felt generic or stale. I can truly say that we loved our ceremony the most of any piece of our wedding (and we loved the rest of it so much!!), and the most vivid memories I have and will continue to have will be of the ceremony that Kari helped shape and execute.
Not to mention, she has every. detail. dialed. I have never worked with a more organized person in my entire life!

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful ceremony we had with Kari! She took time to get to know us through both a written survey and a personal meeting. Kari is professional, lots of fun, and her expertise in officiating wedding ceremonies was apparent in everything she did for us. Kari made me a beautiful bouquet prior to the ceremony, and surprised both of us by incorporating Greek traditions into the ceremony. Despite it being a terribly hot day, she took us around the property for an hour taking photos. We did not allow much time to plan prior to the wedding day, and she quickly accommodated us in changing our ceremony location the day of the wedding. We are so happy that she was part of our special day and I would recommend her services to anyone!

Kari is such an amazing person! We enjoyed every minute working with her. She made sure our wedding was perfect and our stay at Sanibel Moorings was more than comfortable. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was accessible for everyone, as I am in a Power Wheelchair. She helped us find a place for our Reception dinner afterwards at George and Wendy's. We had a family member as our Officiant, but she was awesome at coordinating everything else we needed. I would have been comfortable having her officiate too if we didn't have our own. After meeting with 6 officiants, I was thrilled to find Kari. She was wonderful to work with and made the ceremony so easy. She provided a customized ceremony and she was very flexible when I wanted to make a few changes. On the day of the wedding and rehearsal, she helped everything flow smoothly and ensured everything was taken care of. I didn't have a day of coordinator and really I didn't even need one. She got everyone together and placed where they should be. We had the wedding on the beach and the sand fleas were so bad, I was considering just having the wedding under the tent. My husband and I decided to celebrate our ten year anniversary by having a vow renewal. We had a large wedding so wanted an intimate and small but classic ceremony. We searched around a lot and then we found Kari. She was a true blessing! She helped turn our vision into a reality. She wrote our entire ceremony and vows for us and they were PERFECT! Just from meeting us once she knew exactly what was important to us and made sure to include our children in our ceremony which was my favorite part. The day of the ceremony was suppose to pour and she was so flexible with timing and working around the weather but luckily we got to have our sunrise ceremony before the rain started. She had a few surprises for us and made the ceremony perfect! If you are looking an officiant she will be the best decision you can make!

Kari is a dream come true when it comes to performing your wedding ceremony! She so obviously takes great joy in meeting her clients, getting to know what makes them special, and creating the most special event for that couple. Somehow she is able to remove all stress around what can be, but shouldn't be, a very stressful time! She went above and beyond to make sure that everything from the setting to the music we chose was ready and available to us. Kari set the perfect tone for the ceremony and found the perfect words for us, and really hit the mark on giving us the perfect day. I never had a "dream wedding" in mind, but I really cannot imagine anything better than the event we had. Thanks Kari!

Kari Cordisco took every worry out of our planning & ceremony. She thought of every detail to make our day unforgetable & very personal for us. Her professional skills are impecable but she is also extremely caring about the couple & having their experience be the best it can. I am a photographer myself, and I was very pleased with the pictures Kari took. She had ideas I would never have thought of. I would recommend Kari to everyone.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kari! We live in NYC and got married in the town we meet each other in high school at, Cape Coral FL. It was tough to manage planning our entire wedding from a far and when we realized we were less than a month away from the big day and still hadn't found the right officiant we really started to worry! So I searched and made phone calls and no one seemed right, then I finally came across Kari and read all of her reviews, but before then, as soon as we had seen her photo, she seemed genuine and I had a good feeling. After reading so many great reviews I called the very next morning. I told her we were getting married in a few weeks and still haven't found an officiant but that we didn't want to just choose anyone. She was incredibly kind over the phone and personable, she said it was completely fine and that she'd hope she could help us out. She listened to all my questions and concerns that I had and answered them in such a knowledgeable manner. I felt as if we had been friends before yet she was still very professional. She told us to take the time to talk it over with eachother, she did not pressure us or remind me of how short of time I already was, which was very comforting. I called her first thing the next day and said that we would love to have her as our officiant. She sent us a great questionnaire to fill out about each other just to get to know us more. She wrote our ceremony for us and it was as if she had read my mind! It was perfect! When we finally arrived to FL we arranged to meet in person and start preparing for the big day! Our experience with Kari truly could not have been better. It even rained on our wedding day, luckly before I (the bride) arrived to our ceremony location, which was outdoors on a ranch, she managed to help keep everyone calm and on schedule. When I arrived it was magical, the rain stopped, the sun was out and she was so happy to see me! You were amazing, thank u Kari :)

Kari was simply amazing. She took care of every need and was so thoughtful and caring!!! Kari even helped my family set up and she and her wonderful husband helped clean up after the wedding!! She found my lipstick when I was in a panic and brought me a fan when my make-up was melting. The little things mean the most!!! She went above and beyond any expectations. I am currently expecting so I needed the least stressful wedding I could possibly have! lol- She did everything, I only needed to go get the marriage license and she handled the rest.. she made it so romantic & I will never forget the moment looking into my husbands eyes during the sunset and telling him my vows & how much I love him right on the beach at sunset... She made me feel comfortable, and also took our pictures for us & they all came out so beautiful.. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding, it was everything I imagined and I highly suggest her. She was affordable but did everything very classy and professional, and always responded to all of my emails & also had my pictures to me in less than a week after the ceremony... I will never forget that day.

We loved working with Kari and highly recommend her! We traveled down from the Clearwater area with our teenage daughter for a private, intimate beach ceremony and she made everything so fun and special for us. From the beginning, in planning, the way she was so responsive and personable, she gained our trust, made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The vows she wrote for us were so thoughtful and beautifully written. We included the sand and hand verses to the ceremony and loved that it incorporated our daughter. Kari went out of her way to help us pick a place to stay in Sanibel, a beach for the ceremony and was even thoughtful enough to meet with us when we arrived in town at our condo. She was early the morning of the ceremony and was so professional, but made us feel comfortable like she was an old friend. She is sweet, funny and energetic. I think what impressed us the most, besides the many calls I had with her planning where she left me feeling so "prepared", she helped us organize our simple decorations on the beach, made our daughter feel very comfortable and involved, but also stayed after the ceremony and offered to take some pictures of our little family. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else, she was perfect! We feel like we had an awesome vacation, a beautiful ceremony that couldn't have been one bit more special than it was, and made a life-long friend. Thank you again, Kari, from the bottom of our hearts!

Kari was so and caring and helpful and responded to each of our requests with skill and professionalism. The only thing that I would recommend is if possible having a small sign during a ceremony alerting beach-comers to be aware that a ceremony is in progress so they could re-rout their route. Most did anyhow, but one or two didn't. The event was still wonderful for us, and I would recommend this venue for a private ceremony such as ours.

My wedding day, like many wedding days go, did not go “according to plan.” My family and I were faced with step family stress, extraordinary tragedy, and the love of our wedding all on the same day! Amongst the rollercoaster of emotions we had Kari. Many people fall apart and crumble with that kind of emotion but Kari became our rock. She was there to listen, reassure us, and helped the entire family. Her kind and heartfelt words are genuine. As soon as I met Kari I knew she would be our officiant but I also felt like I made a new friend. My admiration and gratitude for her is immeasurable.

Words cannot describe how amazing our "Wedding Ceremony" was. Just for starters it was raining I mean severe thunderstorms all around us but we had clear blue skies on Sanibel Island. We are SOOOO glad that we stumbled across Kari with "iDO! Weddings". We didn't even interview any other officiates because from the first time we met Kari we knew she was PERFECT!! 90% of the weddings that I have been to were in a church so I didn't now what to expect but wow Kari made the Ceremony AMAZING! I’d like to add my accolades to the many rave reviews for I Do! Weddings by Kari. My husband and I were recently married by Kari in a beautiful seaside ceremony at the Sanibel Moorings. We found Kari to be warm, enthusiastic, accommodating and professional. Kari assisted us with suggestions and fresh ideas in the months leading up to the wedding. On the BIG day Kari and the staff at the Sanibel Moorings gave us all the time and attention of visiting royalty. Everything was organized and orchestrated to be effortlessly perfect. My guests were touched by the lovely ceremony she wrote for us and her heartfelt delivery of it. Kari took photos after the ceremony and again on the beach at sunset. She gave a toast to the bride and groom at our request and stayed available and involved until the conclusion of the poolside reception. Thanks to Kari, we have wonderful memories of our wedding day to cherish forever.

Working with Kari at Sanibel Moorings was great! She made everything simple and really listened to what my fiance were looking for. I was a little worried with planning a wedding from six states away but between e-mails and phone calls, she made it really easy. All we needed to do basically was show up with our marriage license in hand. The decorations were great and the ceremony felt really personal. She even called and made a reservation for us and our family after the ceremony since we were not really familiar with the options in the area. She definitely became more of a friend over the days we were there rather than just someone helping us with our dream wedding. We loved everything about our wedding and cannot thank Kari and the rest of the staff for everything they did for us!

It's never easy to choose the person who you will share your life with, and it may even be more difficult to choose the person who will join you together as husband and wife. But after talking with Kari for only a few minutes I knew she was the one! Flexible, professional and creative...what more could you want in your officiant for an intimate beach ceremony? Highly recommended!
