Quick & organized!

Ryan and his team were amazing - so friendly and easy going. Pictures came back very quickly so it was nice to share those with everyone immediately! They have now shot both mine & my sister’s weddings and we would recommend him to everyone!

Amazing experience

We worked with Kevin and Ryan on our wedding day at Lake Lawn Resort (July 23 2022).
They were both absolutely fantastic. They arrived promptly and prepared, and made us feel at ease right away. They were extremely efficient and knew exactly where to go and how to position everyone to make incredible photos. From the first time we talked with Ryan over a year before the wedding, he listened to what we wanted and made sure the schedule and timeline was tailored to our plans for the day. And finally, we received our photos within 48 hours!! We could not be happier with our photos. They really capture our emotions during the day. We give them our highest recommendation!

Lake lawn wedding

Wedding ceremony/reception photographers

Gio and Kevin were absolutely amazing!! They kept us on our general timeline of the day and our pictures were absolutely breathtaking. They got our pictures back to us in 5 days!! They were fun to work with and very professional! Highly recommend!!

Amazing!!!

Ryan and his crew with Ideal Impressions just did my wedding on 8/21/20 at the Bog in Saukville, WI and did an absolutely incredible job. They were all such a pleasure to work with. We had a wedding party of 17 adults and 15 kids and they managed get incredible photos of everyone. I also wanted pictures with my extended family and they were so patient and made sure to get all the photos we wanted. We cannot thank you enough for capturing these very special moments that will cherish forever!!! Highly recommended!!!

You can’t beat Ryan and his staff.

I was adamant about working with Ryan and Ideal impressions for our wedding. I have experienced other weddings with him as the photographer and I knew he would make my wife and I’s wedding what we wanted. The entire staff is professional and understanding of what the day means to the bride and groom. Ryan responded quickly and completely to all our inquiries. He loves to speak on the phone so you get an answer as completely and quickly as possible, but will work with any form of communication you want. They also were open to doing everything to accommodate all our requests for the wedding day. And their work product is amazing. First they keep you at ease throughout the day. And when the action starts, you don’t even know they are their. The pictures are available quickly and look great. Again they are open to accommodating numerous requests for finishing photos how you want them. I will only ever recommend Ideal Impressions for wedding photography or any major photography needs to anyone looking for professional photography services.

Passionate & Professional

My phone consultation with Ryan was excellent. He is extremely passionate about his work and professional. He answered all of our questions with ease and made us feel very confident to work with him. We booked the Silver Package of 7 hours with two photographers and then added on the Photo-fusion, which is such a unique element. Having the flexibility to add additional services onto our package before our wedding date is wonderful. It made the entire booking process and decision making stress free. We are so excited to work with him for our wedding!

Unbelievable!!!!! My guests cannot get over how amazing the images looked and were in absolute shock that they were able to see a video of the pictures (photo-fusion) during the reception and by the time we woke up (well some of us :-/ ) the pictures were already up on the website and available for download!!! Love the fact guests are able to download immediately for free! And Ryan and Kevin COULD NOT have been more accommodating for our ridiculously large wedding party! I’m sure we were a bit tough to wrangle (all 27 bridesmaids/groomsmen and 11 kids—a new record I would imagine ) but they did it with the utmost professionalism! Cannot say thank you enough!!! You cannot go wrong with Ideal Impressions!

If you are experiencing a special life event, you WANT IDEAL IMPRESSIONS there! With every life event – whether it is a wedding, anniversary, birthday, grand opening of a business, graduation party, etc. there is always a vibe unique to that event. In order to preserve such moments, a great photographer is a MUST. Ideal Impressions is home to the most talented individuals. We knew of Ryan’s work prior to our wedding & knew he was who we wanted to help preserve our memories. We worked with Ryan & Kevin and they captured our wedding day beyond what we hoped for. To preserve memories correctly, a photographer must not only have a good eye, know lighting, & be an artist, but they must also be able to capture the “the energy” of the moment. They must be able to make you comfortable & cue you as to how to move in order for the picture, light, and surroundings to best complement you. Ryan & Kevin were so wonderful in doing this. They arrived on time & worked with us, our families, & our animals to come up with different ideas to capture the day & memories. They were so kind to our families, fur family, & friends. Ryan & Kevin also dressed to blend right into our wedding event & drove from one place to another, climbed up on piers, off piers, took a boat ride to capture the right moment, flew the drone, were in & out of the lake, up & down the beach, at our house, & also at the Inn early. They did all this while remaining invisible, in a sense, because they were so respectful & knew where to be at just the right time. The turnover for our images was less than 24 hours & the video/photo fusion is amazing. It is something we will always have to remember our special day. We cannot say enough about Ryan & Kevin. They were not only our photographers, they were also part of our wedding day. It is because of them that we have these photo treasures to share together, with family & friends, forever. Rest assured that when your perfect day comes to an end, you'll have the most incredible photos and video to remember the day by. Working with Ryan was an absolute honor and he is a truly brilliant photographer and artist. Ryan and Gio were amazing come wedding day, arriving early and keeping everyone on time all day. They are also just genuine and kind people, capturing special moments in the most discrete ways. At one point in the day Ryan put down his camera to help me strap my heels, a true class act. Words can not describe how creative they are and I encourage you to view their albums on their website to see for yourself. They worked from sun up on wedding day to sun up the day after. The day after the wedding we awoke from a text from Ryan with a link to see over 2,000 photos and the most incredibly done photofusion. I'd highly recommend prioritizing their packages in your wedding budget, it'll be the best decision you make. If you are contemplating booking Ideal Impressions for your big day STOP and just book them! And if you are just starting to look, look no further than this review. Ideal Impressions is more than we could have ever asked for from a photography service for our wedding. From the first time I contacted Ryan he was so responsive, friendly, and genuinely excited to hear about our wedding, the dreams we had for our day, and the pictures we hoped to come from it. After booking, he was constantly in touch throughout our engagement whether it was engagement pictures, meeting for coffee to see how wedding plans were coming, or finalizing details as the wedding day got closer...I truly felt like he put as big a priority on making sure our day was perfect as we did.

When the wedding day finally arrived Ryan and Joe were nothing short of amazing. They came early (one to where the guys were getting ready and one to the girls) to make sure to capture those pictures that couldn't be seen by my husband and I otherwise. We had a large party (9 standing up on each side and 2 ushers), not to mention two LARGE families, and pictures after the ceremony were a breeze. My MIL could not stop talking about how quick and professional they were in organizing the groups and just getting everyone on their way. Trust me when I say you want your pictures to be fabulous but you don't want to have to spend your whole wedding day taking them!

On top of a large wedding party came a large wedding--we sat 450 for dinner. I couldn't believe how Ryan and Joe managed to get pictures of nearly all of our guests and a perk to Ideal Impressions is that all photos are available for guests to view so our guests could view and purchase professional pictures of themselves from that day. Ideal Impressions is truly the complete package when it comes to wedding photography and we are forever grateful for the memories that we will have to view for a lifetime. This is the third Family wedding Ideal Impressions Photography has photographed. Ryan and Scottie are ridiculously talented! Professional, organized, and extremely creative! They took the time to really understand our style and it reflected on the photos...perfection! Within hours after our first photo shoot, they had pictures printed and framed for our families to see! Unreal.

It was also a genuine pleasure working with them, love their personalities. I highly recommend them, they are in our mind, obligatory!

We cannot say enough good things about Ideal Impressions, we worked with Scottie from the very beginning through our entire wedding! Selecting our photographer was one of the most important decisions we made and we quickly knew we made the right one. Our mini engagement session with Scottie was relaxing and fun! Not to mention the pictures turned out great!! Leading up to the day we talked a lot to finalize the timeline for the day which helped things run so smoothly!!! On the day of we had Scottie and Joel with us which we are so thankful for! It's really hard to put into words how grateful we were to have them be a part of our day! We had so much fun with pictures the day of and so did our wedding party!!! It all was very apparent when we saw them after! First being with the photo fusion at our reception...this is a must! It not only turned out amazing but people were so impressed. We got access to our pictures pretty much immediately which turned out PERFECT!!! I mean there are like no bad pictures!! We booked Scottie with Ideal Impressions for our wedding in Lake Geneva. We think the pictures are really the only thing you get to keep from your wedding, so we wanted to make sure we had not only the person that had the skill to take good pictures, but someone who's personality we meshed with. It was important to us that the photog was able to make us comfortable and help us take good high quality pictures, especially since neither of us is any good at taking pictures - so awkward! With that being said, we budgeted more money for our photographer than anything else, we thought it was the most important thing.

We met with three photographers, Scottie was the clear winner. He was not the cheapest, but we still think we got a great value. We LOVE our pictures and could not be happier with how they turned out. Scottie and his team were with us for almost 12 hours and they worked hard the whole time. It's evident in how the pictures turned out as well as the number of people that told us how awesome they were.

Our advice to you would be to make sure you speak to several different photographers, and that you speak to your ACTUAL photographer. It's very important that the person you are spending that much time with be someone that you mesh with. They need to be able to tell you when you're doing things wrong and help you through the process. Scottie and his team were definitely that for us and we could not recommend them more.

Totally worth the money! Definitely work spending the extra bucks for more hours too. We worked with Scottie Peterson, and assistant photographer Joel and they did such a great job!!! Working with Scotty from the engagement session to the wedding was a wonderful experience. A wedding can be a very stressful event but Scotty made everyone feel at ease. To anyone looking for an amazing wedding photographer look no further. Scottie, Gio & their team with Ideal Impressions Photography were simply the best! There was not a moment in the entire day where Scottie/Gio were not capturing pictures of moments my husband and I will forever cherish. Scottie and Gio were the whole package too, at one point Scottie was a DJ when we needed it, swooped in and saved the day with an AUX chord, both keeping us on time and always making everyone in our party smile and have a good laugh! If it feels wrong it's right, (inside joke with the bridal party and Scottie but made for the most perfect pictures and heck Scottie taught us all how to take better pictures in the future). The photofusion was perfect and blew our guests away but most importantly blew Ryan and I away. We are almost 2 months post-wedding and Scottie still is extremely helpful with questions when we have them. Looking back on our wedding, Ideal Impressions Photography was some of the best money spent and I wouldn't change them being our photographers for anything. Thank you guys!!

Scottie was absolutely amazing! Right from the start, he had a personality and energy that just made you feel comfortable and excited. We felt like we'd know him for years! He made the most boring part of the day for the bridal party so much fun. As we went around taking pictures with our bridal party, it was clear that everyone was not only enjoying themselves, but having a blast! Scottie exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The amount of time he dedicated to us all day was unbelievable. He has a great eye for beautiful shots, and that definitely showed in our wedding pictures. This is continued from Bridget's review - I hadn't even gotten to the wedding day yet and ran out of space about how amazing Ideal Impressions is!
SO THE WEDDING DAY! Scottie and his team were amazing. They captured shots I didn't even know existed. They caught every moment. They were somehow everywhere at all times.
We decided to get the Photo Fusion video, which I was very unsure about. How could they possibly make a decent video from the day that we could show at our Reception only a few hours later?! I mean seriously. Well, I was SO SO wrong. I can't even put into words how amazing the video was. Danny and I have watched it at least 100 times in the past few days. Our guests were AMAZED. They could not believe what they were seeing! Strangers have watched it and cried. You HAVE to get the Photo Fusion! You will NOT regret it! I would pay a million dollars for it if I had to! It was such a great addition to make our Reception unique and special. Scottie and his team stayed much later than originally planned (because once again - they never made you feel like it was about the contract/cash which I found with LOTS of my vendors).
Here's probably the craziest part. I woke up the day after my wedding obviously in pure bliss! I wanted to text Scottie and ask if he could send me the Photo Fusion video, but thought ...hey...he literally got home after midnight...I'll give him a break! Minutes later I receive a text from Scottie...with the video...and EVERY SINGLE PHOTO from our wedding day already edited and ready to go! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THIS? People wait months for their photos and I had every moment in my hands the morning after my wedding! I immediately posted all of them to Facebook and people could not believe that they were seeing our photos from the big day hours after it happened.

I could go on and on, but I hope everyone got the point. You need to choose Scottie and Ideal Impressions!

Where do I begin!?!?! First I should let everyone know that my mom and I are kinda those crazy wedding people who lived and breathed wedding planning for the past year and wanted everything to be PERFECT. We met with at least 5 photographers and there was always something wrong - they wouldn't stay past 10PM, they wouldn't make us an album, they only have a team of 1, but would hire an amateur to be their asst for the big day... etc.
Then we met SCOTTIE! He literally made ALL of our dreams come true. I need to list all the reasons why I love Ideal Impressions...
1. We fell in love with Scottie immediately. He had such a fun and caring personality! He shared in our passion for my wedding. He UNDERSTOOD that this day was a realllllyyyy big deal for us! He made us feel that we could absolutely rest assure that he was going to knock it out of the park. AND OH MY GOD DID HE EVER!
2. I really wanted our engagement photos to be taken where Danny proposed to me. SO even though it was over an hour drive for Scottie...he made it happen! It was supposed to be a 30 minute shoot and after hours of taking photos he was still hanging out with our families, eating pizza, laughing, having a great time. He never made us feel that he was just there to get the cash and go! He was literally a part of our family during this entire process. The pictures turned out incredible and we had TONS of options to use for save the dates, cards, gifts. There was no limit to how many pictures we would receive from Ideal Impressions - which is something I haven't seen with many companies!
3. Leading up to the big day I would receive phone calls and texts from Scottie about how excited he was to shoot our wedding. He is an incredibly genuine person who once again just made me feel so comfortable to have him be my photographer on the biggest day of my life.
4. OKAY, so the wedding day!! Scottie shows up with an entire team of amazing people!! They were all nicer than the next! Super professional

We just had our daughter's wedding with Scottie and his team on October 1, 2016. The first time I met Scottie I knew there something very special about him. He was very engaging, fun to be with and you just knew on The Big Day he would be very easy and relaxing to be with. During the months leading up to the wedding he went out of his way to make you feel like your wedding was the only one on the planet!! He spent many hours with us to produce the most beautiful engagement photos we have ever seen. He went above and beyond driving a long distance to make the photos very personal at the location we chose. By the time Scottie left that night, we were not just doing business with him but he was our friend. He has a wonderful personality that you just love to be around. He came out another night and met us to make the video shown at the reception extra special . So far this has been about Scottie personally. Now for his talent as a photographer. He is a story teller with his photos that will make everyone cry and did I mention we had all 2500 pictures the morning after the wedding and new profile pics inserted on the bride and groom's Facebook pages. He captured every moment exquisitely and made such an impression on our guests that they were coming up to us and asking who he was and what company we had chosen . Oh and did I mention that he stayed with us for 14 hours when he just moved last weekend and had a new baby just a few weeks ago. It doesn't get better than Scottie. Lastly you MUST get the PHOTOFUSION from Ideal Impressions. It completely makes your reception rock. Call Ideal now and ask for Scottie. No bride and groom could have a better experience on their wedding day then SCOTTIE and his team!!!!

Scottie and his team were extraordinary for our wedding day! They were incredibly polite, professional and helpful during our wedding. Guests were blown on our wedding day of the quality of the movie/pictures that we showed during our reception. People continue talking about them weeks later! If having a wedding in Lake Geneva, or the surrounding area, there is no better choice than Scottie and his team!

You would be a fool not to hire Ryan! His photos are unlike any other and he truly pays attention to his clients' styles, needs, wishes, desires, everything. He was beyond a pleasure to work with. He made our wedding weekend a dream come true! I live in NYC and he is one of the best photographers in the country.

LOVED our photos & videos. Can't say enough great things about our photo experience. We actually had a directions-to-the-wedding mishap on our wedding day but they somehow kept it stress-free and delivered exceptional photos. Our engagement photo session was a blast and our guests and even non-guests are always commenting on the beautiful quality of our wedding photos. The guys are fun to work with, made things happen, and we would highly recommend them. Plus, the video & photos were done sooo quickly after the wedding! Many brides need to wait weeks but we were thrilled to have everything (and all of the rights to the photos) so soon after.

I highly recommend Ideal Impressions Photography to anyone looking for talented and fun photographers that have a passion for capturing your special day. Our experience with Ryan and Gio has been unmatched, and it was truly a pleasure to work with them. Not only were they extremely professional, punctual, and friendly, but they captured every moment that was special to my husband and I. For the wedding, Ryan and Gio took a plethora of pictures, which included not only the wedding party but our guests as well! The photo booth was a hit at our wedding, and our guests said they had so much fun! The next morning we received all the photos, which we have not stopped looking at since. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and everything that we imagined! In addition, the Photofusion that Ideal Impressions offers is hands down the best purchase you can make. I would definitely recommend both Scottie and Brook as photographers, no doubt about it! They photographed my wedding a couple weeks ago and upon getting the photos back, I can honestly say I was absolutely blown away by how amazing they were. Stunning, stunning, photos. The photographs were one of the most important aspects of the wedding to me and I can definitely say I was far from disappointed and actually in shock by how beautiful they turned out. Scottie and Brook are both extremely talented photographers.

I now know why Ideal Impression Photography wins awards year after year. I hired Scottie and Brook for my daughter's wedding and I would hire them again in an instant. They took drop dead gorgeous pictures! They know how to work each scenery in so many creative ways. For instance a field was shot as romance, silliness, playfulness and even loneliness. Their pictures all tell a story which I love. They also have the ability to get these great photo shots in a calm and natural way and thank goodness no cheesy pictures. Every moment of the wedding was captured. They are both fun to be around yet work very hard and are very discrete . We have received so many compliments on how beautiful the pictures are. I highly recommend them.

We initially contacted Ideal Impressions after seeing their name as one of the popular photography vendors for weddings in Lake Geneva - we loved their photos online, and their packages seemed to be just what we were looking for. And they had a drone, which was right up my then-fiance's alley. We set up a phone call with the owner Ryan, and signed a contract almost immediately - we loved his enthusiasm, and his ideas for our big day! Though we did have an odd contractual issue - our contract included Ryan as head photographer, for no extra charge, as part of an off-season wedding special. Then later on, we received an e-mail introducing us to our head photographer, Scottie! This wasn't a huge issue to us, and after meeting Scottie at our mini engagement shoot, we wouldn't have had it any other way!

I can't say enough amazing things about Scottie. He is high energy, professional, and funny - and a great swimmer! (No kidding - he waded into Lake Geneva on a 45-degree day in May to get the perfect shot of us ladies lined up on the pier.) He meshed so well with the whole bridal party - I am a bit disappointed he isn't in any of the photos! His team was also really great, friendly and knowledgeable.

The package we decided upon (after much indecisiveness and procrastination) suited us very well. The drone was able to fly, despite the windy day. We got some awesome aerial shots that were so different from any other wedding photos that we've seen. We are SO HAPPY we chose to do the Photofusion video - I still get goosebumps thinking about watching it for the first time at the reception surrounded by our family and friends. (The team worked through dinner to have it ready to view - it was such a cool feature.)

Bottom line: Ideal Impressions is everything we could've hoped for... and more! Yes, "photography" was a good chunk of our wedding budget, but it was so worth it.

My family has known Brook for a while and have used her to take other family pictures before, so when we got engaged it was a no brainer as to which photographer I wanted to use!

Brook and her team were amazing on our wedding day. We had Brook, Joel and Mikey. We can't say enough good things about this team. All day they were so amazing to work with and so positive and upbeat. Joel kept asking us if he could get us anything, like water or a drink - he totally didn't have to do that!! Brook was amazing taking our pictures, she could make a brick wall feel beautiful with the way she talks and poses you during photos. Our pictures are amazing!

They also provided us with a photo booth. The photo booth was supposed to last for 2 hours but they had some technical difficulties at the beginning and made sure that we got a full 2 hours of functioning time, not just 2 hours of it being there. At the end of the photo booth time, there were still a few people in line and then a few more trickled over after the time was up. They still graciously took our guests pictures even though they had already gone way past the time they should have gone home.

We had our photo fusion video the next morning in time to show at our brunch at 10am and then the rest of our pictures were up by Wednesday! We got married on a Friday!

I could go on and on about how perfect our wedding day was and how wonderful Brook and her team were to work with. They definitely helped to make our day beyond perfect!

I was thoroughly impressed by the level of professionalism and the quality of images and video produced by Ryan and his team. When its your only daughter getting married you want the very best in order to capture that magical moment, and we definitely received that from Ideal Impression. Lastly, our package also included the video Fusion, where Ryan incorporates images and video taken during the wedding and First Look. They put the images to music and show it later that same evening. It was a real crowd "pleaser". Thanks for the great job Ryan...

Our wedding was perfectly captured by Scottie and his team. It showed the smiles, the laughs and the tears. We get to share these memories forever. Scottie knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I can't say enough good things about Scottie and his team. They did a phenomenal job shooting my wedding yesterday, and the photos were already emailed to me THIS MORNING! Scottie will do whatever it takes to get a good shot. He literally got into the lake fully clothed to get a good dock picture. And he helped keep everyone calm and happy (especially me during some minor meltdowns) by lightening the mood with humor. We choose Ideal Impressions based on their website and their initial response to their inquiry. We are glad we made the right decision, as Scottie and his team were professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. We sent Scottie a few samples of photos we liked on Pinterest, Scottie took our personalities and recreated those for us. First off, I would like to say that Heather & Chris need A RAISE! They did a phenomenal job with our wedding and went beyond the call of duty with how everything turned out! We don't even know where to begin...we had such a great time with Scottie and team!! From our first now of the year engagement session to our wedding day and beyond - Scottie has been nothing but amazing to work with. His team is great at taking what you're looking to do and making it the best. The photofusion video at brunch still has our guests talking and my husband and I watch it over and over again! He also surprised us with a drone that flew down to take aerial video of our pre-ceremony boat cruise! The entire wedding party felt at ease with Scottie and team and he made taking pictures fun! My new husband Ken and I are so happy we went with this company for our wedding photographers! Scottie and Joel were amazingly fun to work with and so creative! You can tell they really take what they do seriously and love it just as much. They made me feel so at ease and so happy on one of the most stressfull and exciting days of my life. Scottie and Brook did an amazing job at our wedding. They made us a well as our wedding party feel very comfortable. We were lucky enough to get Ryan, Joe and Heather to photograph our wedding day. Words cannot express how amazing they were. Prior to the wedding Ryan was organized, professional and on top of EVERYTHING. On wedding day their team was attentive, efficient and captured beautiful photos beyond what we could have ever thought to ask for. They played a 6 minute video fusion (photos and video clips from THE SAME DAY) during our reception, that was unbelievably stunning and blew my husband, myself and our guests away! Did I mention they had ariel drones at our ceremony?! AMAZING. We and our guests were able to view ALL of our photos (over 1800 to choose from!!) the very next day. Everyone who attended our wedding cannot stop talking about the quality of work, professionalism and ability to be discreet from Ideal Impressions Photography. The Ideal Impressions crew (Scottie/Joel/Joe/Caleb) were very professional and did such an amazing job with our wedding photos and photofusion!!! Breathtaking is the only way to describe what this company did for our wedding day. The photos were absolutely incredible and the aerial view of our ceremony and reveal was absolutely amazing. They captured every moment of our wedding day and also did our engagement session. The exceeded all of our expectations and took our breath away with our photofusion video that was played before our first dance. All of our photos were up on their site by the time we woke up the next morning and friends and family were able to see them and download what they wanted. We also had a photobooth with our package that gave our guests something extra from our day. Customer service was top notch!

Words do not speak enough volumes to the incredible work Ideal Impressions (especially Ryan and Joel) provided my husband and I on the day of our wedding. The services we were provided was impeccable and top-notch. Ryan and Joel made our day special and personable and brought great energy and enthusiasm to our wedding party. They also captured those priceless "candids" that most brides and grooms miss. And finally, the final products were breath taking. We were immediately impressed by the flexibility and value of the packages they offered. We worked with Ryan and Joe and they proved to be a great team for both our engagement and wedding day photos. Perfection is the best word to describe Ideal Impressions! We had the privilege of having both Ryan and his wife Krista fly to Fort Myers Beach, FL to shoot our wedding photography and we couldn't be happier! From first communications through after the wedding, they were simply amazing. Communication, attention to detail, and professionalism were all outstanding! Ryan would take pictures for days if he could, which made us feel special on our big day!! The photos are indescribably perfect... from our first look to wedding party and family photos, to all our special moments throughout the day- they captured everything! They were even able to get great pictures while dealing with our loud, obnoxious (at times) and fun wedding party! We decided to pass on a videographer and have Ryan make us a photofusion video- BEST DECISION EVER! We worked with Brook Cervenka for our engagement session and her and two other photographers (their names are escaping me right now and I feel terrible about that because they were awesome!) for our wedding and I can't say enough wonderful things. Brook was so personable and wonderful to work with. She immediately put us totally at ease and got so many great shots because we were constantly laughing and smiling. She was so easy to email, call, text, whatever. She was honestly INCREDIBLE on the wedding day. She and the other photographers just did their own thing while we got ready and we barely noticed them. She caught every little detail (even me and a bridesmaid brushing our teeth very carefully after having our makeup done- whoops! It's one of my favorite photos though). They just took my dress and rings, accessories, etc outside and got so many cool shots while we were getting hair and makeup done. Looking back I was shocked they did so much without me even realizing! Brook even helped button up my dress when we were running late, which I was so grateful for. Every time I looked at her with nervousness about the time she just said "we're fine! it's all fine! we're going to be fine!" She really put me at ease. If I could make a recommendation I would say plan for way more time than you think you'll need because you will want as many of these fantastic photos as you can get! We wish we could have afforded to keep them there longer. It is expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for and you own the rights to the photos afterwards which is honestly priceless. My other recommendation would be to pay the extra money and get the photo fusion video. It's my favorite thing we did because it captures the best photos and video snipets of our precious day and we got to see it THAT NIGHT right after dinner! It totally gives you the whole feeling of the day and you get to set it to music of your choice. So awesome! Thanks Brook!

Ideal impressions exceeded every expectation I had for wedding photography. We worked with Ryan and Josh, and they were absolutely amazing! While planning our wedding, we knew that photos were the most important vendor to us. After reading all the reviews on Ideal Impressions and speaking with some friends who had used them for their wedding, we decided to book them, too. Every positive review was so true. They were very professional, very fun, and made our wedding day extremely stress-free and easy. The photos turned out perfect, and the photo fusion video at our reception blew everyone away (I cry every time I watch that video). Another plus -- with Ideal Impressions, we didn't even have to book a videographer because they took care of filming all the important parts of the day. Wow, I can not say enough good things about Ideal Impressions. Scottie and Heather were our photographers and were absolutely amazing! We had met with Scottie prior to the wedding to discuss what kind of photos we wanted to capture. With both of us being Military, Scottie had suggested a shoot with an American flag. Not only did he bring his own flag from home (we were in from out of town), but the shots turned out absolutely incredible! As we were folding it up after the shot, they managed to snap a few without us looking and it ended up being my favorite photo of the day, so personnal and special. At one point he even jumped in the water to get a better angle of us on the pier:) Heather spent the early afternoon with the groomsmen, and being typical guys were not into getting their pictures taken. Heather made it so much fun for them, and they ended up having a blast! The link to all of the photographs was available to us the next morning, and we were blown away. Sooo many great shots, and friends and family said that they had never seen such amazing wedding photos. They were both great to work with, flexible with all of our ideas, and brought some great ones of their own as well. I didn't want the day to be over, but I'm so thankful that we have such an amazing album to look back at. Thank you for making our day such a positive and memorable one!! We could not say better things about Ideal Impressions and Scottie (our photographer) and Ryan. From the very beginning contacting them all the way until the the end of wedding night and beyond, they have been absolutely incredible and supportive and willing to go the extra mile for us! My biggest concern going in is that my husband and I wanted to keep it traditional and not see each other prior to the ceremony. Yet didn't have 3-4 hours in between the ceremony and reception for photos. So I was afraid that we wouldn't be able to fit it all in. But Scottie was game and ready and was even able to get us a quick change of location in between. He got us everything we wanted, needed and more! I remember him saying to my at the very beginning, "I am here for you and I am your official time keeper, to keep you on schedule and on time for whatever you want and need on wedding day." And he kept good on that promise! Even checking in with me two days before the wedding just to see how I was holding up and talking about how excited he was for the big day! It really made my husband and I feel so cared for and stress free on wedding day, knowing that Scottie had it all under control! Ideal Impressions has been wonderful to work with from the beginning. They make it easy to pay via paypal in whateve increments you want until a week or so before the wedding. Heather took the photos for our wedding while Caleb took video. They were both so easyand fun to work with, especially for someone who doesn't especially like photos being taken of themself. Our engagement pictures turned out great and I am even further impressed with our wedding photos and photofusion. I had some photos to me the same day and even more the following day! Their turn around time is wonderful! I love how you can access your photos quickly! I highly recommend Ideal Impressions Photography and Heather and Caleb!!

Ryan and Joe did a wonderful job. We are so happy with the quality and creativity of the pictures. Ryan and Joe were so professional and accommodating the day of the wedding. They always made sure we were ahead of schedule the day of, which was reassuring because we have very large families and had many people to take photos with. Throughout the planning process, Ryan was so great to work with. He was quick to respond to emails and made me feel at ease with his experience and flexibility. At the reception, Ryan offered an iPad photo booth...the guests loved this. Also, he displayed a same day wedding slide show which was unbelievable ...we got so many compliments on those photos from our guests. If that is not enough to convince you of Ryan's talents...the marketing director of the vendor in which we got married just asked if they could use some wedding photos for a resort magazine...how amazing! Going with Ryan with ideal impressions was one of the best wedding decisions my husband and I made!

Ideal Impressions knows exactly what every bride and groom are looking for. You feel their passion from the first phone call or meet you have with them. They are pure geniuses!! After shooting our engagement photos with Ryan we knew we picked the right vendor. He never made us feel awkward or that we weren't doing a good job. They have been doing this for so long that they are able to pinpoint what you like by asking the right questions. The day of, they were just amazing! It ended up being really hot outside and as soon as we said we couldn't do it anymore he knew exactly where to shoot next so there was no standing around figuring out what to do next. They were able to create a video to show at the dinner of moving and still photos from that day. It was amazing that they were able to do this in a matter of time. The guests at the wedding were amazed by it and they were so excited to feel like they were part of the day seeing everything first. We ended up getting our pictures within 24 hours after our wedding. You just don't ever hear of any photographer being able to do this. They are a vendor I would use time and time again. Their work is so unique and makes you feel like you are important to them.

My husband and I got married last summer. We chose Ideal Impressions and received Brooke as our photographer. We could not have been more pleased. Brooke used our input and her years of experience to commemorate our big day and meet all our expectations. Not only did she know how to use the venue to get the best shots she also knew of special areas close by to really set a special tone. Another thing that both my husband and I found important was that although Brooke and her helper got every shot we had hoped for she also was not intrusive to the experience itself. Finally at one point our DJ was having trouble with his equipment which caused us to delay some events in the wedding that we wanted captured and Brooke stayed past her designated time at no charge for us. My husband and I are so glad we went with Ideal Impressions. Scottie was amazing to work with and responded immediately to all of our questions. We were blown away by the photofusion at our wedding. It wasn't something we felt strongly about having but it definitely gave a beautiful, emotional moment, that not a lot of people get to have at their reception. The pictures along with the video clips and song really bring people in and capture the whole excitement and feeling of the day. It's the day after our wedding and I have to post this immediately to ideal impressions for how wonderful they were! Between Cassie Spiegelhoff and Scottie Peterson and your team holy my god how does it get any more amazing!!! Everything was more than a dream and outside of our opinions even the whole group there pulled us aside to say that!! You guys went above and beyond expectations and had the whole room in awe at the amazing photo fusion - it was so wonderful to share those moments earlier in the day with those who weren't with us in the morning! You provided more than just photos - but an experience that was enjoyed by over 200 guests. Above and beyond our dreams and you helped make us feel so comfortable and easy going! We were so glad we chose Ideal Impressions for our wedding photography. We saw them at a bridal show and loved their work. Our photos turned out amazing and we got so many, and so many awesome shots! As soon as we booked Ryan and his team to photograph at our wedding we knew it would turn out amazing, and it did! Ryan and his team made us feel comfortable while taking pictures, not only my husband and I but out whole wedding party was amazed of how beautiful the pictures turned out, and not only a couple pictures all of the pictures turned out to be perfect!! Ideal Impressions exceeded our expectations with everything! Scottie, our lead photographer was exceptional. Cassie and Neil (our videographer) were outstanding as well. The photos they got really captured the heart of our day. They were so easy going and very fun/easy to work with. They were able to work with any elements that got thrown our way that day (i.e. RAIN!!!) and still make us feel at ease and not to worry, they would get the shots! The three of them literally went above and beyond just being the "photographers". The photo fusion they showed during the reception literally blew everyone away. Us as well! There really are no words for how awesome these guys were. My husband and I, as well as family and friends that were there have already recommended them to others and We loved them so much, we scheduled a family shoot in a few months!!! They were so unbelievably professional and easy to get along with. It felt like we were just hanging out with friends all day that just happened to have cameras with them. I knew the minute we picked a date for our wedding that I needed to go directly to Ryan Bensheimer and the Ideal Impressions team to secure my date. Once secured, I had absolutely no worries for the next 15 months about photography. I knew that Ryan would capture everything, and that his pictures would stun me the way that he has stunned tons of happy clients before me. My complete faith in them was not lost during this wedding process. They have been nothing short of extraordinary. Our engagement photos only helped to ensure that they are a rockstars. At the wedding, they did everything from climb on chairs, lay face down in the grass, jump in the lake, hitch a ride on a safety patrol boat, and, even, get a drone to get just the right shot. The photo fusion was a hit after dinner at the reception, and he even included the song I recorded in the longer version. My pictures were all posted the next day, including the photo fusion, and I am forever grateful for his calm, cool, collected, and kind way of being with us throughout that day and the last year of planning. If my worry is that I can’t choose which ridiculously awesome picture is better then the next, you, Ryan, have proven yourself a guru in your field. Thank you, thank you!

I cannot say enough about Ryan and Heather from Ideal Impressions. I had it in my head from the moment that I met Ryan that I needed to have him take my wedding pictures! He was so customer service focused in our meeting he just won me and my mother over! From engagement pictures to our very amazing day he was GREAT! Within 2 minutes of meeting Ryan we knew he was the photographer for us!! He shows a love for what he does! He got us excited for our wedding!! He has a lot to offer! Ryan and his colleagues at Ideal Impressions provided us with exactly what we were looking for in terms of a photographer and more. He was great to work with and was very accommodating considering my husband and I were traveling from Chicago for consultations with him and our engagement photos. On our wedding day we chose each venue we wanted to shoot at and he provided us with the perfect pictures at each venue - even jumping in the water to get the perfect pier shots. My daughter, (the bride) and I both have art degrees and have taught photography, so when planning our big event, we were very critical of who to select to do the photos. We found "Ideal Impressions" at a bridal show at the docks in Lake Geneva, in Fall 2013.

Once we chose Ideal Impressions, Scottie Peterson met with us a number of times, went over every detail and direction with us. He truly cared about what details were important to us, which photos we wanted, what my daughter hoped for in the style of photos he took. He truly listened to what we wanted and followed through.

Being much more familiar with Lake Geneva than we were, Scottie interjected a lot of helpful advice throughout the 10 months in which we worked with him. His suggestions not only provided better photos, but also he acted as an "almost-wedding- planner" for us!

Scottie was patient with us, We both are strong willed and knew (or thought we knew) what we wanted. He is truly a great guy to work with!

We did have Ideal Impressions shoot both the rehearsal dinner (on Friday), and, of course the wedding day. The team of photographers who worked with Scottie were wonderful, as well!

Most importantly, our photos are beautiful-artistic, sentimental, depicting the emotions of the day and overall, just perfect! We will cherish the memories forever.

Ryan and Krista flew to Naples, FL as both our friends and photographers. They were amazing...shooting at both the Welcome Party and the Wedding. They even popped in at the Salon during make-up and hair! I can't say enough nice things about Ryan at Ideal Impressions Photography. My daughter's wedding was on Sunday at the Grand Geneva Resort. We had to move the wedding inside because of rain and the pictures were still incredible. My daughter was running late
.because of her hair stylist and Ryan said not to hurry her he would make sure it all worked with the time we had. And he did. He put together a fusion video from some of the wedding pictures which he showed at our brunch. Everyone loved it. I don't see how anyone could have made the day go smoother or provided a better product. We love the pictures.

I cannot say enough good things about Ryan and his team. Photos were the most important thing to us and he did not disappoint. Reliable, fun, flexible and incredibly talented.

One thing I thought was outstanding right off the bat was the pricing. I was a little terrified after seeing the initial package pricing, but Ryan and Patie were more than willing to work with us. Ryan, unlike other vendors you may work with during the planning process, is incredibly FAIR. We never felt like he was trying to upsell us or make us add things we didn’t need. If anything, it was just the opposite! What a breath of fresh air.

From the very first meeting, through the engagement session, up until the wedding day; Ryan and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. My husband and I had a lot of crazy photo ideas and Ryan was always onboard. The best part is, he really ran with it and made our ideas even better! You can tell Ryan loves what he does and the proof is in the pudding.

We were lucky enough to have Ryan himself shoot our wedding with his wife as the assistant. What a great team! They captured every moment and gave us so much variety to choose from. One word of advice, GET THE PHOTO FUSION VIDEO. Worth. Every. Penny. They shoot mini video clips and stills, put them to a song of your choice and play the video ON YOUR WEDDING DAY. Seriously, in between shooting, the photographer and assistant are constantly editing and putting this video together....it's insane. We played the video at the reception and people were blown away. When people ask to see pictures from the wedding, I just show them this video. It's just a perfect highlight reel of your special day.

I was an extremely frugal bride, but when it came to photography I asked my future husband if it would be okay if we looked for quality first and then narrowed our choice down by price. We looked at a lot of different portfolios, but absolutely fell in love with Ryan's pictures. Then, we were pleasantly surprised at how affordable he was. By far the best photographer around and we have ever seen. Our guests were beyond amazed at the performance, professionalism, speed, and uniqueness ideal impressions offered. Our pictures were instant with filters on them to look outstanding and guests were able to see then that day and order them or download them within a day. We cannot thank Ryan and his team more for the amazing work they did.

Brides and grooms, my wife and I had the priviledge of working with Ryan from Ideal Impessions and we could not have even dreamt of the photography being better than it was for our wedding. From the pics being taken to the final albums and editing, it was definitely our priviledge to work with Ryan and his staff. The effort that is put into the entire event by this company makes you think each person owns the company with how much passion and care everyone has towards your event. They really team up with you to make it perfect. I will never forget the effort put into our wedding and this photo Ryan took...... My wife and I were on a pier in Lake Geneva and Ryan nearly laid down into the water for the pic with the rest of the night ahead of us; he had no hesitation to jump right in for a picture we will love forever. His willingness just blew me away, we give Ideal Impressions a double thumbs!

Ideal Impressions Photography is an outstanding company! Their quality and professionalism is unmatched by anyone else. I was very impressed by how organized and quick they were. It seemed like every picture they took was absolutely stunning. Bottom line is that you could go cheap and hire anybody and their uncle with a fancy pants camera but you'll never get the professional service and quality images that Ideal Impressions can give you and when it comes to the one special wedding day, It only makes sense to hire Ideal Impressions to take care of the capturing it so you don't have to worry about it.

The photographers with Ideal Impressions are absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. We had the great pleasure of working with Ryan and Scottie. What a great team! We had A LOT of family photos to get through and these two made it a stress-free process from start to finish. They were certainly not afraid to get their hands dirty either. They did whatever it took to get just the right shot; including jumping in the lake! The timeless photos that we have will be treasured forever.

Ideal Impressions is fantastic! The pictures and videos from our wedding were incredible. Our photographers (Ryan & Scottie - love them!) were amazing. They managed to get a ton of shots/footage, and I swear - we hardly knew they were there. They listened to our requests and customized our package and their work to reflect our personal style. Special shout-out to Ryan, who jumped into the lake to get a shot of our bridal party!

This photographer was absolutely incredible!! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this photographer to anyone for anything. The guests at my wedding are still talking about the video that the photographers put together during dinner and showed during the reception! I will be using this photographer for future events and photo shoots.

Ideal Impressions is TOP notch!!! We fell in love with Ryan's creativity and eye for those special shots. The same day wedding video clinched us with going with this wonderful company. Our guests still rave about the video, saying "I've never seen anything like that before!!!" We just received our beautiful Italian made wedding albums (included in our package) and they are gorgeous. We can't wait to display them in our home.

Photography was the most important thing to us on our wedding day....pictures last FOREVER!!! Great company, great staff!!

They included a photo booth that was such a fun element for our guests and a great keepsake! They also put together a spectacular video. They are such nice people and easy to work with. Josh, our lead photographer, was beyond amazing. Both our engagement and wedding day photos were so beautiful. He has a great eye for what will look good and how to get the best shot out of every situation. He was a lot of fun to work with and did an incredible job at keeping us on schedule even though we had a very tight timeline. It is the day after our wedding and many of our photos are already up on the website!! We even had some of our photos included in our slide show during our reception!! It was so great to get to see what the photos we took just a few hours earlier! I would highly recommend Ideal Impressions (especially Josh!) and could not be happier with their services.

The pictures were spectacular. Much thought was given to take a variety of pictures: bride and groom, family, guests, food, the tables, church, limo,... Everything was outstanding.

These guys were AWESOME to work with. My wedding venue fell through at the last minute, and they were extremely flexible to work with me at another location that was even further away. They were very quick to get back to me on any questions. They had pictures from the wedding up for me to download within 48 hours. I had my printed wedding album about 6 weeks after the wedding! They were friendly, and extremely helpful. My family LOVED working with them. They even helped us pick up trash that got left at our ceremony site. They are far and above the best photographers I have ever worked with. I was so happy that they could shoot my wedding. Go with these guys, and you will be thankful for years to come. Fabulous photography!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Ideal Impressions on a few occasions. Our photographer for our wedding was Ryan. He was very professional, easy to work with and even worked with my mom a little on her special project for me and my husband:) Everyone loved the slideshow of pictures at the reception. Everyone still raves about our wedding photos and we have been married for 5 years.

Matt Mason was a photographer of ours when he did my sons wrestling pictures, which was a lot of fun.

Last but not least Zac Smith took the photos at a Benefit for a very special little boy. That meant a lot to a lot of ppl.

Ideal impressions has always been there when any of us needed them and always went above and beyond. We heart you guys:)
