From my mind, to her finger.
The experience couldn't have been any better. I proposed to my wife in March of 2025. Like her, I wanted the ring to be unique, full of life and, above all, beautiful. I came to Vic with a few pictures I found online and a vision for how I imagined the ring would look. He was patient with me and treated the creation as if it were his own. Also, did I mention that I didn't have an appointment? He's literally the best.
Needless to say, she loved it! So much so that we went back (without an appointment again, sorry!) to get our custom wedding bands! Vic greeted us with a warm welcome and remembered who we were and got immediately to work on bringing yet another custom vision to life.
I can't recommend Icing on the Ring enough, especially if you're about to give up on a custom vision!

Custom engagement ring!
I set up an extremely last minute appointment on a Saturday and was kindly helped by Raffi. I came into the jewelry store knowing some knowledge of engagement rings and an idea of what I wanted for the design. He was amazing in workshopping my ideas and explained why some things will work and why others wouldn’t. He provided other design suggestions, which I very much appreciated. I’m extremely happy with the outcome of this ring. Thank you again to Raffi and his team!

Dream Ring, Flawless Execution
My fiancé and I came in with a dream for an engagement ring, and Ice on the Ring brought it to life flawlessly. We shared our vision, and they replicated it perfectly, every detail exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I came here to get our diamond set for my engagement ring after doing a lot of research. I was lucky that I found them through TikTok and they weren’t too far from me. Ani was really helpful and my ring turned out better than expected. I’m so in long, it feels like a timeless classic piece with a modern twist of the dual tone gold. Photos don’t do it justice.

I reached out online with details of the type of ring I was looking for plus a rough budget. Within the same day Ani sent me a video of a ring that she had just done for another client that looked EXACTLY what I had in mind. I went in later that week and started the process with her. Ani was incredibly professional and showed me several different diamonds that were all in line with the vision I had. Together we were able to craft the perfect ring for my now fiancé and she couldn't have loved it more.

We worked with Icing on the Ring for an engagement ring as well as our wedding bands.
Icing on the ring is exceptional when it comes to service, quality, and their diamonds (most importantly!). The staff was super accommodating for me to help customize a ring for my partner. We went with a rose gold and lab grown diamonds. They didn't upsell me on anything, I was considering different sizes of diamonds and they appropriately said I should keep it within a certain size to not look too big. The engagement ring came out spectacular! My partner gets tons of comments on how great it looks.
We then one we would immediately go back to Icing on the Ring for our wedding bands and worked with Ani who helped us select some exceptional bands to complement each other. I feel the store is a hidden gem in the Diamond District and I cannot find better quality for the price. I recommend them to anyone looking around, make an appointment and check them out!

Amazing service!
This was the easiest engagement ring shopping experience. I searched for lab grown diamonds in DTLA and after looking through some pages, made an appointment to see stuff in person. Ani was very helpful and absolutely not pushy. When I came in to Icing on the Ring, all I knew was I wanted a lab grown diamond engagement ring, I wanted it to be round and I had a very small budget. I didn’t know anything about diamonds, colour scale, sizes, etc, but Ani made it easy. Ani presented a few options and with her knowledge and experience helped/guided me through the process of deciding (so many choices and they are all so beautiful) and finding the perfect ring for me.

Ani and the whole team at Icing on the Ring were so great to work with. My partner and I started our wedding ring/band shopping with a wide variety of jewelers, from big-name brands to individual shops like Icing. None were as approachable as Icing. Great experience and great options! My only complaint was that I didn’t get formally sized, but I also didn’t ask! We used more of a “guess and check” method and the first one happened to fit. I still wonder if I would have tried other sizes if we would have found a different result! Either way, I absolutely LOVE my ring and my experience with icing on the ring. Icing on the ring made the whole ring buying experience very accessible for someone who previously hadn't bought any jewelry. My wife and I shopped for our engagement ring and Ara, one of the GIA specialists, guided us through the diamond selection process and taught us what each of the C's and which features carried the most weight towards our decision. Importantly, we purchased our wedding bands here and are 100% pleased with the buying process. Ara again worked with us to determine which criteria mattered to us most and helped us get bands that truly represent our marriage. When we had a small issue with the engagement ring (due to natural wear and tear), Icing was kind enough to repair the ring for us free of charge. Found Icing on the Ring through some online searching and submitted and inquiry to them back in May of 2021. I’ve been emailing and doing virtual visits with Vic directly in order to find the best option for my fiancé until I had a weekend too make it down there by myself and fully see the options. While I was there, Vic provided exceptional service and professionalism while giving me the best options to choose from. Ultimately found the Diamond I was looking for and submitted my order. Few weeks went by and it delivered at my address and couldn’t be more satisfied with how it turned out. Absolutely stunning and my GF at the time had no idea which was the best part. End of the month we had a special weekend lined up and she couldn’t have been more shocked, happy, thrilled to see the ring I got her. Originally I was going to shop around for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I had about 3-4 jewelers I was planning to meet. The first place on my list was ‘Icing On The Ring.’ Ara was the salesman I met and he was extremely helpful. I immediately felt that he was patient and not pushy and that was exactly what I was looking for. I decided to not go to any other jewelers after that first meeting. I couldn’t decide between 2 diamonds (the only difference was size) and he didn’t try to push the bigger one on me which I really appreciated. Icing on the Ring did an amazing job in helping me find the right diamond. Since I was unsure of what style of ring my partner would like, they provided a "proposal band," a simple and temporary ring for the diamond. Engagement and wedding rings
We visited a lot of jewelry stores throughout Orange County. We decided to research Los Angeles and found the wonderful store “icing on the ring”. So glad we ventured out of Orange County! When we first went, we didn’t think we would find a ring. We were greeted by Ralphi and Vic who spent numerous hours helping us and educating us on diamonds. They provided their professional opinion and never felt pressured rather than provided with many options and suggestions. If it weren’t for “Icing on the Ring”, we never would have found the perfect engagement ring and wedding bands.
We made numerous stops over the weekends to check and decide on the rings. Everyone was so friendly and made the process of choosing and deciding so much easier. We never felt rushed at all! If you are looking for a place to purchase your rings, this is the place! The have options for all price ranges!

We could not recommend Icing on the Ring enough!
My boyfriend and I had no idea where to start when shopping for an engagement ring in LA. We went to a few places together but didn't get the right vibe. That all changed when we walked into Icing on the Ring. We were immediately greeted by Ara and walked through the process gently without too much pressure or any sales pitches. He answered all of our questions and was happy to look at different diamonds and ring styles with us and was very patient.
When we decided what we were interested in we sat down and figured out the financials. We decided we wanted to think a little longer about such a big purchase and he was so understanding about this. We ended up coming back a few weeks later to finalize everything. My boyfriend ended up proposing that holiday season and just got married this October! We came back to Icing on the Ring for our wedding bands and again, they did not disappoint. We found the perfect wedding band for my fiance and mine was custom made to match my engagement ring exactly. Everything has held up and they always take care of us when we come in for cleanings or resizings, etc. We could not recommend Icing on the Ring enough!

My fiance could not stop talking about how much he enjoyed working with Ani to create the most beautiful ring. She was super informative, helpful and really guided him every step of the way. The Perfect Ring!
Buying an engagement ring is daunting because there's so many diamonds, so many settings, and so many small details to pay attention to. Fortunately, I had the pleasure of working with Vic and he made it easy!
He took the time to explain what to look for in a diamond and showed me several options in my price range. After that, we looked at settings and I couldn't find quite the right one in stock, so he custom made one for me. The end product looks fantastic and I couldn't be happier with the end product, price, and service.
If you're down town shopping for a ring, definitely take a look at what they have and ask for Vic!

If I had to summarize my experience with IOTR, I would say that it was MEMORABLE. Ani is super fun to work with and she really invested her time understanding mine and my fiancé's style preferences. Gagan and I knew that we wanted a Tacori setting, and Ani was super helpful in walking us through the entire collection. At the end, we found the ring that was PERFECT for us. Ani helped my fiancé and I both our engagement rings and our wedding bands. She spent hours with us while I had her go back and forth to find me a diamond I loved. Throughout the entire process, Ani had a great attitude: always positive, and never pushed us to make a decision at any time. Even with our wedding bands, Ani spent time talking us through options and gave us all the time we needed. Although we didn’t interact with the rest of the family much, everyone seemed to always have a smile on their face and were very quick to ask us if we needed assistance.

I am beyond happy with the exceptional customer service that Raffi provided myself and my husband in finding the perfect moissanite for my existing wedding bands. We chose Icing on The Ring because of the fabulous reviews and we were not disappointed. We felt like part of the family in this family owned business as soon as we walked into the door. Raffi is knowledgeable, courteous, patient and an overall great person. He was easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions in a calm, re-assuring manner. When we decided on the perfect moissanite for our bands, Raffi let us know that special customizations had to be done and it being the week of 4th of July, I was afraid that we wouldn’t get the ring on the day that was promised. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the ring was completed on time due to Raffi’s father going into work specifically on his day off just to get the ring completed on time as promised. When Raffi presented my husband and I with the finished product, it is safe to say that we were both flabbergasted at the results. My 17 year old ring was brought back to life. It is simply gorgeous and I get compliments all day long on how shiny and bright it is. I highly recommend anyone to take their business to Icing on the Ring. I loved Icing on the Ring! My fiancé and best friend went into the store and Ani helped pick out the perfect ring for me! My husband designed a ring from scratch for me and we had it made at Icing on the Ring. They provided wax cast versions until we were completely happy. My ring looked great in the final version, and I have been nothing but happy with it.
A few weeks ago, I dropped my ring when getting out of the car. Then ran over it. No joke.
I brought the smooshed ring along with the diamond to IOTR and they completely remade it, for a VERY reasonable price. I am very happy. Great family owned business.

At my friend's recommendation, my husband and I went to Icing on the Ring in the Jewelry District to shop for our wedding bands. While they may be a little more expensive than the other vendors in the Jewelry District, they also are the largest and most professional in the area. This family-run business is extremely knowledgable with their products. My husband wasn't planning to spend much on his ring, but after learning about the unique traits of Triton's tungsten ring with platinum inlay, he was finally willing to let me spend more for a quality ring. We also requested engravings on our rings, which were done nicely. We're both really happy with our wedding bands, and love wearing it everyday.

For months and months, I searched endlessly through the LA Jewelry District for a ring for my now fiancee. After weeding through an abyss of over-the-top, overly aggressive ring dealers, I came across Icing on the Ring! I cannot even explain the weight that came off my shoulders the second I entered their store. First off, the store itself puts anything else in the jewelry district to shame. Second, it's family owned (huge plus)! Third, their selection is incredible! Forth, I worked with Ani -- she was beyond incredible and patient and was so helpful in my hunt for the right ring. Not once did she try to force a sale on me. She was the first person I dealt with in the jewelry district who I felt cared about me finding the right ring as opposed to just making a buck. And that's the type of people I like to work with. Beyond Ani, the rest of her family at the store seemed great as well -- so really, you can't go wrong. Good luck! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! ~Sean

They are outstanding. They have now become our jeweler of choice and have been amazing throughout the entire engagement and wedding band selection process. They are really good about cleaning and fixing any part of the rings and bands. Great place to go- I recommend them!

My husband had my ring custom made here and it couldn't be any more perfect! Service is great and they are always willing to help! We also went back and purchased out band from them.

The staff at this store are absolutely incredible. Every time we walk in they know us by name! I don't know how they do it. We have been so pleased with everything we have bought there. We get so many compliments on our rings. We will continue to be customers for years to come!

Vic was great with helping us picking our wedding bands out! He was incredibly patient even though we were soooooo picky with everything. Make sure you park at Pershing Square and Icing on the Ring will validate the ticket for you.

I had an amazing experience working with Icing on the Ring. We worked primarily with Raffi (for my wife's custom engagement ring / wedding band) and Ani (for my wedding band). Both Raffi and Ani were incredible to work with. Both extremely patient individuals that went the extra mile to work with me to get exactly what I wanted. I never felt rushed nor got the feeling that they were simply trying to make a sale. I made about 7-8 trips total and they gave me their full attention each time. I especially loved how their show room was not off of the street but secluded within a building which made the experience more comfortable for me since it was in a more private setting.
The end result of what we got for the engagement ring and the wedding bands far exceeded my expectations. Their quality is top of the line, their customer service is top tier, and they have always finished ahead of schedule.
Their establishment as a family owned/operated business shows the experience and dedication they have put into the jewelry industry. Rest assured that I will be working with them for any custom jewelry I may want in the future. They are simply the best.

Icing On The Ring was the perfect place to select our rings and my engagement ring. They are so professional. They are more about educating customers about diamonds and do not pressure you to buy anything. We knew nothing about diamonds, so this was so helpful. The jewelry selection is extensive and they hand make every ring. I highly recommend checking them out!

Icing on the Ring is the best jeweler around. We bought my engagement ring here last year. We were able to pick out every detail of this beautiful ring. They were very prompt and even completed my ring early. They have many sales. We have purchased other jewelry here too since then. They are always so helpful and the prices are very reasonable. Great place to go for jewelry. The service is great and professional, the selection of jewelry all high-quality. The staff was very knowledgeable and they did not mind answering any questions I had. The showroom was modern, spacious, and beautiful, yet still had a calm atmosphere. Overall it was a comfortable place to be; I was never truly intimidated by the store. They had a lot of beautiful rings in their selection, and their prices were quite reasonable.

Icing on the Ring was recommended to me by my event planner. They were very professional and not pushy at all. They sized my hushand and I and helped him select a ring that he loves. They also custom made my wedding band to match my engagement ring that was purchased elsewhere.

Icing on the Ring. What can I say? I feel so incredibly blessed to be living so close to such an incredible jeweler!!!
Right in our own back yard, located in the jewelry district of Downtown Los Angeles, this vendor has customers from all over the country fly in to finds that perfect ring. Celebrities proudly show their gorgeous custom made pieces on a message board in this upscale, beautifully designed, family owned and run, jewelry store. But don't let all of that fool you, This family has a ring to fit every budget, has bi-yearly sales, and will remember your names every time you walk in the front door. It's been over a year since my now husband went in to create my ring, and as of two days ago, we were both greeted with smiles, and everyone called us by our first names without having to ask us to remind them;-)
They pay incredible attention to detail. For instance, we went in this week looking for a second band for my set, and Ani, the sister of the two brothers there, and daughter to the owner, immediately noticed a tiny, tiny ship in one of the diamonds that surround my engagement band. Something I never even noticed. She quickly let us know that this diamond would be replaced without cost to us, and I left the store with sparking rings as if I'd bought them that very day.
I would never recommend another jeweler to anyone in the Los Angeles area, and even those out of state should seriously consider looking at their website and seeing for yourself how beautiful their collection is. And if they don't have a style that you want, they will create it for you! It's absolutely the loveliest place a girl could ever lay eyes on!!! Go, you won't be disappointed!

I came to icing on the ring after visiting several other jewelry stores and was pleasantly surprised the moment I walked in. Raffi approached me and quickly helped me look through multiple rings until I found the one for me. Still unsure, I decided to give it a week and see if I still felt the same way about the ring and after thinking about it I did. I returned to IOTR and Raffi and I began looking for the perfect diamond for the ring I chose, he was very patient and explained everything to me, we looked at about 12-15 stones before I found the one that caught my eye. Im very pleased and glad that I decided to stop by IOTR!!!

I am not a jewelry type of gal, so finding the perfect wedding band for my fiancee was a daunting task at first. He gave me a general idea of what he wanted, and left the rest up to me, wanting to be surprised on our wedding day.
Icing on the ring was the first place I ventured to. My first visit was a great experience and Ani was very helpful and knowledgeable. I told her I wanted a two-toned ring (white gold/rose gold) and a 6.5mm band width. I picked out 6mm white gold ring I liked, and she said they can custom make it to tailor to all my specifications (with no extra charge). She even offered me $50 discount for attending a bridal convention they participated in. Awesome!
After that initial visit, I shopped around a bit more, but ended up back here due to the great pricing & customization options. I dealt with Raffi & Vic on other occasions, and they were very courteous as well. I LOVE the way his ring turned out, my now husband loves it as well :)

This place got fantastic reviews on Yelp, so we went to check it out. We were not disappointed. They have a wide selection of settings and stones, and they'll customize whatever you want to create your perfect rings. We worked mainly with Ani, but her brothers and father were all equally friendly. Their workmanship is high quality. As part of their ongoing service they'll clean your ring once a year for free. Three times a year their wedding bands go on sale so you can wait to buy your bands when they're discounted.
