The Ice House is the perfect venue to dress up in a variety of ways. The space is modern and open, the staff is knowledgeable, on trend, and very flexible. The venue also offers many different spaces for large/small events. We held our wedding ceremony on the rooftop and then transitioned inside for the reception and it was effortless! We wanted a relaxed, mingling atmosphere and this venue was perfect for it with the "garage doors" open and access to the outdoor patio area, while still being able to see the dance floor and band. I can definitely see how this venue could easily be dressed up for black tie or more formal event as well. Great venue, great staff!

They listened to my vision and exceeded my expectations in creating the perfect atmosphere and the food was beyond phenomenal.

I can't say enough good things about Erica and her team. They took care of everything, and it was so nice to deal with one vendor for venue, catering, bar, and decor. They were easy to communicate with, and as a bride I felt satisfyingly lazy since all I really had to do was have a couple meetings, answer a few emails and then just enjoy the day. Thanks to everyone at The Ice House!

I don't feel like our situation was very typical of what you might experience with the Ice House. However, we have to be honest and say we experienced major turnover throughout our year of planning which made the process a little more difficult. We worked with a coordinator who was consistent throughout all of the planning and then quit a week before our wedding date. Despite the turnover and disappointments, we were sooo happy with the end result! Lyndsay saved the day! Our reception was so fun and was everything we wanted! The venue looked amazing; the bistro lights and uplighting really transformed the space! We got so many compliments from the guests about the open lay out, because the weather was so nice we were able to have the garage doors open to create a great atmosphere both on the dance floor and out on the terrace. I loved our S'more station and the fire pits - they were the perfect touches to our fall wedding! We loved the food, the service at the bar, and the extraordinary staff! We are confident in our decision to choose the Ice House as our venue due to the options with the layout and proximity to downtown Louisville.
