Delicious wedding cake!

We were so happy with our beautiful wedding cake from I Do Wedding Cakes! From consulting with the team on flavors and design to sampling the cake to enjoying it on our wedding day, the entire process was seamless. The cake was the perfect amount of sweet and our guests loved it!

Beautiful & Delicious Wedding Cake

Working with Debbie and Elisha was great! The cake tasting was a blast and they had many combinations of delicious flavors to choose from They have an array of designs and I loved the honeycomb texture that we ordered with fresh flowers on the cake. The cake itself was not dry but perfect, and many guests told me how much they enjoyed it! I will definitely use I Do Wedding Cakes again for future celebrations.

Beautiful cake!

Debbie was able to make all of my thoughts a reality. The cake was so gorgeous, I honestly didn’t want to eat it. We did eat the cake and it was delicious.

Exactly how we envisioned it!

We are obsessed with how our cake turned out! It was exactly how we envisioned it. I Do Wedding Cakes is very professional and easy to work with. They delivered the cake on time and delicately put out cake toppers on just how we wanted. Highly recommend this bakery for wedding cakes!

Amazing bakery… We loved the lemon flavor.

Our wedding cake turned out perfect! It looked exactly as Debi drew it out and was so delicious. Everyone loved it and some even went back for seconds. 🥰

Under the stars in Carmel

We were referred to I Do Wedding Cakes by the team at Wedgewood Weddings. Due to covid restrictions we weren’t able to do an in person tasting, however, we were able pick up a tasting to go. Our package include 4 cake flavors to try, but we added a 5th for $10 just for fun. We tried the carrot cake, chocolate cake with a chocolate moose filling, a vanilla cake with Picasso filling, a vanilla cake with fresh strawberries and crème filling and a chocolate with a Black Forest filling. All the cakes were moist and tasted amazing but we chose the latter 2 for our wedding cake.

As for the design I had found a under the stars themed cake design on Pinterest that including a forest silhouette, however, we wanted the silhouette to be of Carmel-by-the-sea where our venue was, to add a full moon (since there was a full moon rising on our wedding night and to replace the fondant with buttercream frosting.
As you can see from below, I Do Wedding Cakes delivered exactly what we were looking for and made our wedding that much sweeter. The only thing we had added was our topper. I highly recommend them 10/10. Thank you Debbie, Elisha and team at I Do Wedding Cakes for making our day special.

Best Wedding Cake

I loved my cake and the different flavors choices. I am so sad that it was thrown out at the end of the night. We only got the first bite for pictures and were looking forward to trying the rest. We are hoping to purchase another cake to just be able to enjoy it since at the tasting it was so good! I highly recommend this company.

Wonderful experience all around

I Do Wedding Cakes made the cake for my wedding and it was delicious! We had lemon on the bottom tier and vanilla with the picasso filling on the top two tiers. They did a wonderful job and were so accommodating through all four of our postponements due to COVID.

About 2-3 months before our wedding I contacted them to see if they would prepare a separate dairy free cake for some of our guests that didn't eat dairy and they were more than willing to add that to our order. They answered all of my questions and I got nothing but wonderful customer service every time I interacted with them.

The cake was a wonderful addition to our big day and I highly recommend them.

We decided not to freeze the top layer of our cake and plan on going back to I Do to get a small cake for our one year anniversary.

The team was very quick to respond to my calls and set up my tasting and order. The cake was beautiful and exactly what I pictured it being! Everything was delicious so choosing flavors was difficult.

Delicious Treats

We did a small cake for our wedding and about 80 cupcakes. There were 3 flavors and we had all of them filled as well. All the guests agreed they were delicious. We are very happy we choose to use I Do Wedding Cakes... we plan on ordering another small cake for our 1 year anniversary. They made ordering easy, and of course the cake tasting that went along with it was awesome.

Beautiful Cake, Easy Communication

Debbie is the best!

She is so kind and just goes with the flow. We didn't want anything to crazy and she knew exactly how to make it simple yet elegant. We had a 3 tier cake and each layer was a different flavor/filling. We had our florist put flowers on it and she worked with her no problem. We barely had to coordinate that.

The cake was PHENOMENAL! so delicious and moist. Absolutely stunning. We had our own cake toppers that she knew how to work with and asked the right questions about beforehand.

Debbie responded very quickly and was okay with us being a bit slow and unsure about things. She worked with us and made us feel confident in our decisions.

Tasty Wedding Cake

This was by far the tastiest wedding cake I have ever tasted (not just because it was my wedding cake). Their chantelle cream frosting was perfect, not to sweet. I would recommend this baker to anyone not just wedding cakes!

Easiest appointment ever!

Elisha made this appointment so easy and stress free. She worked with us on what we wanted for our wedding cake. I showed her a picture of something we were looking for our cake, and she helped us customize it to our likings. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had such a great experience with 'I Do' Wedding Cakes. During our tasting, the owner was so understanding regarding an allergy I had. She made sure not to use iodized salt in our cake in order to respect our allergy. Our cake was so delicious and beautiful!

I would not hesitate when deciding to book with "I do wedding cakes". I have never seen such an amazing cake. When I went for my tasting appointment, I was unsure what I wanted. My husband to be was stationed overseas and I was on my own. I made decisions with him via skype and the expression on my face. LOL. The owner was super patient and walked me through different options of tiers and what they could look like. We had several e-mails back and forth and she was always very professional and accommodating. In the end I allowed her to do her magic and simply trusted it would all come together. The day of the wedding, the flowers did not come in that I had ordered for the cake. I ran to the store and purchased what they had. I left the flowers for Debbie to add to the cake and went to go get ready. When I sat down to dinner and finally was able to see the cake for the first time, I almost cried. It was the most beautiful creation I have ever seen. On top of the beauty of the cake, I had so many compliments of how incredible it tasted. I highly recommend the lemon with lemon filling as well as the Chantilly icing. To die for.

Debbie was very flexible when we scheduled our consultation with her. We decided that a two teir cake was the perfect size for us. All of the cakes she had us try were absolutely amazing, but in the end we decided to have chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and raspberry filling for the bottom tier and lemon cake with lemon jam filling for the top tier with Chantilly frosting. We told her that our theme was burlap. lace, and sunflowers and she designed a perfect, simple, and elegant cake based on that description. We provided the ribbon, the florist provided the sunflowers and the end result was beautiful! I would suggest "I Do" Wedding cakes to anyone who asked, and have! Debbie was easy to work with and made us very confident that our cake was going to be everything we wanted.

Debbie was awesome and listened to what my husband and I liked for our cake and design and decor. We had a three tier chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and fudge filling for two tiers and the Picasso filling for one tier. It was absolutely delicious and beautiful and our guests loved it too!
Debbie also ordered our cake topper for us and worked with the florist to decorate the cake. Definitely reccomend!

Ok, so first I need to talk about the tasting. I had given Debbie a list of the flavors I was interested in trying. She was super accommodating and let me try everything. Even though I think I requested a million combinations.

Now to the wedding day. We gave Debbie a picture of a cake we found that was awesome. She let me know that she had never done a "chalkboard" look before but would try it out and send us pictures. I appreciated the candor.

I didn't need to worry because our cake looked just like the picture. It was so adorable! The colors, the theme, everything was there...

Oh and it tasted amazing too!!! Try the picaso filling. OMG.

Debbie and I do wedding cakes was great. They provided a three tier custom cake for my vineyard wedding. From start to finished I Do wedding cakes were wonderful to work with. I dream about the tiramisu flavored cake. That is my favorite dessert and was so happy I could make it part of my wedding cake. We had a custom wine themed cake decoration and Debbie did a great job putting it altogether. She was on time and everything went smooth. Every year we are going to get a mini cake made for our anniversary and I can't wait! They have a lot of yummy flavors to choose from and will make any idea come to life!

They were amazing! We got to sample their cakes before ordering. They made a cake exactly how we wanted it. On the day of the wedding we brought our own flowers and the cake lady made beautiful cake topper and side decorations out of them. I highly recommend! The cakes were DELICIOUS!

My fiance and I met with Debbie to discuss our wedding cake. She was extremely sweet and we had such a great time! I wasn't sure how I would do because I am completely gluten-free and cakes can be hard to make gluten-free. Debbie went above and beyond to accommodate me. She provided my fiance with the regular offerings and gave me the gf ones and the fillings/frosting to get a real feel for how everything tasted. I was so happy and the cakes and fillings were amazing! It was such a hard choice, but we are so excited for our wedding day!

“I Do” Wedding Cakes made the cupcake tower and cutting cake for my wedding on 10/18/14. We we’re so thrilled with the way the cupcakes & cake looked and tasted -- I still have friends emailing me to ask who made our cupcakes because they were so delicious. From the first bite at the tasting, I knew I was going to hire them for our wedding. Their cakes, fillings and frosting are incredible! Working with Debbie and her team was great. They were prompt, affordable & so nice. You truly won’t find a better value for cakes that taste this good!

We had a great experience with Debbie. She had a great selection for us during the tasting and prepared a second set of samples with different flavors to help us decide what we wanted. We got a 3 tier with poppy seed/lemon jam (AMAZING!!!), vanilla mocha, lemon/raspberry mouse.
She was great to communicate with, the cake was nicely displayed when we got to the hall and tasted amazing!

Highly recommend them!

Our wedding cake was perfect! They took my vision and made it happen. Everyone complemented how beautiful our wedding cake look and they loved the way it tasted. We had a beach theme and they made delicious shells out of chocolate. The coral was so nice and the extra effort was much appreciated. They found treasure chests and painted them white just for me. They got netting from another company to go under the tiers that made the look exactly what I wanted. We were so impressed with what they did. We highly recommend their services. Thank you for making my vision a reality and my wedding day perfect!

Debbie and her team were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and affordable throughout the entire process. We expressed to Debbie our desire to have a simple yet elegant and delicious cake. Our 200+ guests raved about how moist, unique, and delicious our cake was. We couldn't of agreed more. I was satisfied with the quick response when it came time to go over the final details (flavors, size, design, etc). In addition, it was greatly appreciated that Debbie delivered the cake in a timely manner, while also keeping in mind that our reception was outdoors and hot since it was mid August. Every aspect of our cake was perfect and the affordable price tag was a wonderful bonus. My husband and I can't wait for our 1st year anniversary so we could order a mini replica of our cake and relive it all over again. Thank You "I Do" Wedding Cakes!

Debbie and her team are incredible! Our phone calls and meetings with them were easy and pleasant, and once we tried the cakes we knew she was the vendor for us! Everything she serves is delicious -- we chose three different flavors and fillings for our three layers! And because we were married at a winery we knew we wanted something unique. She helped us create something lovely that looked wonderful on the day of and tasted absolutely wonderful. My only complaint? As the bride I was too busy to try everything and I missed one of the two layers we served! :( But we saved the top for the BBQ we hosted the next day and my husband was in red velvet heaven.

They did a 4 tier 2 flavored cake that was DELICIOUS and beautiful with metallic gold airbrushed frosting. They were easy to work with fun and the Picasso cake is to DIE for. They even did a grooms cake for us and was very inexpensive. I have recommended them to everyone I know for cakes. They even deliver the cake 45 min away to us.

For me the wedding cake was one of the most important aspects of my big day. When some girls dream of the dress and flowers, I always dreamt of the cake. I knew I wanted a tall-layered cake, but I wasn’t quite sure of the design. At our consultation with Debbie, I had tons of photos and she was able to incorporate our favorite elements from the lace, to the pearls, to our monogram and a personal touch: an Eiffel Tower.

When I first sampled her wedding cake, it was love at first taste. The Chantilly frosting was so light and fluffy, not too much, not too little and the cake was incredibly moist. With the extra layers in between, it was the perfect bite of heaven.

Our cake was comprised of four layers and we selected three flavors. I am a chocolate lover and surprisingly my favorite was the vanilla cake with a picasso (raspberry mouse with fresh bananas and pineapple) filling. O.M.G. delicious! We also loved the spice cake with apple filling, which was also on our top layer that we took home to freeze. And lastly the chocolate cake with fresh strawberries and cream. Everyone loved our cake and we even had a to go box for later that night.

I highly recommend Debbie. She was so easy to work with, she is incredibly creative and she is an excellent baker.

The lovely people at I Do Wedding Cakes were so amazing. From our first meeting to the actual date. Debbie was incredible. Her staff answered every question and put me at ease when I wasn't so easy. Thank you I Do Wedding Cakes. Do try their velvet and cream cheese cake. We're still applauding.

We were so happy with our cake! We brought a picture and Debbie was able to replicate it exactly! It was also delicious! She even made us little orange cupcakes to go on our candy table. They were a hit!

Note: I believe we worked with the bakery as "I Do Wedding Cakes". I am not sure how the business is named or divided up legally, but we worked with Debbie who was FANTASTIC.

We met with Debbie to taste and order our wedding cake and we could not be more pleased! My husband and I are space geeks, and she got creative when we suggested an observatory shaped cake. She just went with it and make it really cool!

More importantly: The cake tasted FANTASTIC. It was the most moist (and tasty) wedding cake I've ever had, and I'm really trying to not be biased here! We had the large bottom layer be chocolate for my husband and the smaller top two layers as carrot cake, for me. The cake actually tasted even better than at the tasting, which was unexpected.

Customer service wise, Debbie was so accommodating when I emailed her and and the wedding site coordinator when I learned it was going to be over 100 degrees F on our (outdoor) wedding day. Somehow they managed to keep the cake cool and perfect until our cake cutting later in the evening-- I have no idea what they did, but that sort of seamlessness was so appreciated.

I highly highly recommend them!

Debbie was amazing!!! She did such an excellent job with our wedding cake - it was absolutely gorgeous! We met with her, told her what we wanted and on our wedding day, we were thoroughly impressed it was just as we had imagined, not to mention it was delicious! Debbie did a wonderful job with our wedding cake! We had a combo of German Chocolate and Apple Spice Cake. Both were soooo delicious! Our guests commented that it was the best cake they ever had! I would recommend Debbie for any occasion, especially weddings!

Debbie was so sweet and easy to work with. She is the preferred vendor for Wedgewood Carmel so our wedding cake was included in our package. We ended up doing cupcakes instead of a cake and it was no problem making the switch. She let us pick 3 flavors and accommodated our design (it was pretty simple, just some fondant leaves). On top of how easy it all was, the cake flavors, fillings and frostings were all delicious! We've also been to a bridal shower that had one of Debbie's cakes and it was delicious that time too. Highly recommend 'I Do'!

Absolutely loved Debbie. She was great to work with. Everyone LOVED our cupcakes. They looked fabulous and tasted even better. She also helped me with a surprise grooms cake. I sent her a picture of our SF Giants jersey and she made a cake out of it. IT WAS AWESOME. :o) Gabe loved it. Thank you SO much.

Debbie at I Do wedding cakes is amazing! We had a rather strange request: The way that I met my now husband was that we were sightseeing in Spain, and in order to talk to him, I asked him where he had bought the thing in his bag (which was Tarta Ponche, a specialty from Segovia, the town we were in). Therefore, the cake has special meaning to us. We gave her the recipe which we found online, she transcribed the measurements from grams, and I have to say she did a FANTASTIC job at replicating the flavor. Although the cake was basic looking, it was sooooo flavorful (marzapan/ almond flavor). I am so grateful to her for making it, and having it be part of our special day, and at such a reasonable price considering she had to do some run throughs before making it. It really meant a lot.

Debbie is incredible! She made the groom's cake for our wedding and it looked and tasted amazing! It was an xbox 360 cake completed with controller and the Call of Duty Black Ops game sitting on top of the console. It was absolutely unreal. Our guests were so impressed with how good it looked. It looked like something straight off the crazy cake shows on TV. Thank you Debbie!

Debbie was an a blast to meet in person. We'd spoken to her once or twice on the phone, and when we arrived for the tasting she was friendly and happy and almost most importantly nice!! She had a number of her cakes for samples, a number of picture books for us to see some of designs, and it was all so tasty.

We picked a three tier cake (round, square, round) with butter cream, and with three different flavors, the top being 'Fresh Strawberries with Whipped Cream', the middle being 'Chocolate Mouse with Raspberry, and then the bottom was called 'Piccaso' (Raspberry Mouse with fresh sliced banana's and pineapple) – which you have to try for yourself to understand how awesome it is.

The cake was a huge hit – everyone single person I've spoken to has only had great things to say about the cake appearance and of course the taste of the tier (or tiers) they had at the wedding. We loved it, which (maybe?) at the end of the day is most important!

Debbie of “I Do” Wedding cakes did a fabulous job on our wedding cake. We knew after tasting the first bite of cake at our consultation that she was our choice. Each tier was a different cake flavor and filling: red velvet cake with cream cheese, white cake with strawberries and whipped cream filling and lemon cake with lemon jam and lemon mousse. Naturally, I had a piece of each on the wedding day ;) What was even more impressive was that it looked just as good as it tasted! She created a beautiful three tiered wedding cake that was decorated with flowers that matched the table arrangements and ribbon in the wedding color. We selected our own wedding topper and she made sure that it matched the cake. She gave us many options on how we wanted the cake decorated. It turned out exactly the way she had drawn it up for us. We are so happy we chose her as our cake baker!

Debbie was great! She was so helpful and nice when we met with her and she designed a cake that was exactly what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, the cake was there right on time. The presentation was beautiful and the cake looked even better than we could have ever imagined! And to top it all of... it was one of the best cakes I've ever tasted! Our cake was so simple yet so elegant and beautiful. Debbie went beyond our expectations. Debbie was the first vendor we had an appointment with and it was so much fun. All the different choices we could choose from and got to try. The cake was sooo yummy! All of our guest couldn't stop talking about how beautiful our cake was and how good it was.

Not only was our cake super yummy, but so pretty! Debbie really made sure that we had exactly what we wanted in our cake. In our meeting months ahead of the wedding, she made up several samples for us to try. Everything was so good we couldn't decide and wanted to try more. She made us more samples to take home so that we could share with friends and make our decision. She was super helpful, answering any questions we had and always returning phone calls immediately. I would definitely use Debbie's services for parties in the future!

Debbie makes some of the best cakes ever! Typically wedding cakes are dry and sorta flavorless, not the cakes from "I DO" Wedding Cakes. Her cakes were full of flavor and moist. We actually had guests stealing pieces of cake from people who were not sitting at their table. I though it was hilarious wathcing some of the guests running and grabbing pieces of cake from the other tables. I even had one guest confess to me that he liked the cake so much, he took 5 pieces!!

Perfect! My only complaint is that I wish they had more flavors because the cake was sooo good!

I showed Debbie a picture of a cake I found in a magazine and she recreated it. I wasn't sure if she could pull it off but she did!

The basic cake was covered in my venues wedding package, then I paid $1 more per serving to add fondant and some sugar paste designs. The top tier (for us to save) was included. She also offered to include a cake stand, but we had one.

Try the red velvet cake or anything with the picasso filling. I promise you'll love it.

Our wedding cake was beautiful, delicious, and affordable. The bakery had a good selection of fillings and frostings. Delivery was included with the cake cost, and also included the labor for the baker to decorate the cake with fresh flowers from the florist. On top of that, we were able to rent a beautiful silver cake plate on which to display the cake. We were extremely pleased with our cake, and many of our guests commented on how delicious it was. The Bailey's Creme filling, in particular, is exceptional.

Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful! I asked Debbie to do a naked cake, which she hadn't done a ton of in the past, but she did it and it was exactly what I wanted! Absolutely the most tasty wedding cake we've had. A few family friends have used Debbie before, so we knew right where we were going for our wedding cake. We're so glad we did-- everyone loved it!!

I got married on October 2nd 2010 at CordeValle in San Martin Ca. I went through Debbie at "I Do" Wedding Cakes in Morgan Hill. My cake was not only breath taking... but super yummy and cheap!! Super cheap. Based on my 5 star wedding venue my cake needed to fit the bill. The qualifications for my cake were appearance, taste, and price. Debbie nailed it. I highly recommend this place. A Big thumbs up!

They had the best tasting cake for esily the best price. The cake was lovely and they worked with the florist for decorating it. They were also very flexible in what type of cakes they were willing to do for our wedding cake.

Delicious cake

Debbie was amazing! She listened to what we wanted and created exactly that. My only complaint was the cake was a little crooked. The cake was on time and all of my e-mails and phone calls were always answered in a timely manner.

Everyone loved our wedding cake and it tasted delicious! I would give five stars but they messed up the design of the cake that I was very disappointed with. Debbie was great to work with and has wonderful customer service and she made sure she took care of the issue the best she could. We will definitely be working with them again and hoping that next time things will be exactly as planned.

I Do Wedding Cakes was a personal referral from two different friends. The referrals were right on. Debbie was very easy to work with! She was very knowledgeable and skilled. She made great suggestions on what would work best for our vision. She was responsive and flexible throughout the planning process. Our wedding cake looked beautiful and tasted wonderful! We received so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the cake tasted. Would definitely recommend I Do Wedding Cakes for any occasion.

Nice and professional

I went to this vendor because it was recommended by my venue. Everyone loved the cake and devoured it all! I got lemon for two layers and mango. I also ordered desserts and rented a pedestal tray from them for those. I think they are a bit pricey even though my cake was simple plus they are only open certain days, extra little dessert cost me around $600 but i think it was its worth it for good quality, delivery and set up since wedding day is so busy.

Our cake was delicious, and we had no problems with the service, there were a few delays while waiting for information back from them - and their place is difficult to find (you have to get close to see that it is a bakery). We also didn't have the opportunity to try a lot of the fillings, and we got the wrong filling for one of our layers. What we got was delicious, however, so we weren't very upset about it.

While the cake was delicious, we were not pleased with the service. The attendant on the phone was rude and not willing to make even the smallest of adjustments to the order. If they have exactly what you want, would still recommend you check out this place for your wedding cake.
