My fiancé (now wife) and I came across Trish from I Do, Too while searching for an officiant and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!! First, let me start with the fact that we are a same sex couple and we were specifically looking for someone to marry us who would not only agree to perform the ceremony (not all officiants will perform same sex marriages), but would do so HAPPILY without making us feel any different than any other couple—we found exactly that in Trish.
On her website there are many pictures of her officiating weddings, but I couldn’t help but notice a prominently displayed picture of her doing a lesbian wedding which really made us feel like she was truly all inclusive and catered to everyone. After emailing back and forth, she set up a time to speak to both of us on the phone and get to know our story and US—as people. We really felt like she CARED about us and that this wasn’t just a job for her, but something that she enjoyed and loved doing. She was so helpful in the planning process by sending us sample passages of readings, poems, and different versions of vows that we could read through and select our favorites. I enjoyed that it wasn’t just a simple “one-size-for-all” wording used during the ceremony and I liked having a little say and choice in what she would say during the ceremony. Although, if you prefer a more hands-off approach, Trish is more than capable to handle the wording on her own—I just preferred to be very involved in the process.
As for the ceremony itself, Trish was a lot of fun! We had a rather strange request for Trish during the ceremony which was to hold up and present a pair of handcuffs to our friends and families which we then used to handcuff ourselves to each other. Trish had no hesitation in agreeing to our special request and seemed to love the idea!
All in all, Trish was great to work with—She was prompt in replying to emails, had plenty of samples of vows and readings during the ceremony for her to read that we could pick and choose from, showed real interest in getting to know us and our story, and showed up early for the ceremony handled all the paperwork efficiently. She was incredibly professional yet relaxed and competent and I can’t recommend her enough. You really can’t go wrong with her, and it also was heartwarming to know that she offered a discount to military and first responders, which just goes to show how much she values people. Trish was of an incredible help to build up our ceremony. We were able to have a call where she explained how she was working and what services she was offering. We knew right away that she would match what we were looking for. She was of a great support throughout the whole process, quickly responsive and flexible in gaving us many options on how to create the perfect ceremony for us. She was also constantly checking upon us to make sure we were not missing anything and made sure the ceremony would be as smooth and special as possible. It was Perfect!!!
Trish was my husband’s ex coworker and when he asked her to officiate our wedding she didn’t hesitate she said of course she would!!!!! From the moment she found out she was going to marry us she was on point with everything from the beginning to the end the whole ceremony when she sent it to me I pulled over because I was driving and I started to cry because it was so beautiful and perfect for us!!!! Trish did such a wonderful job and it was the first time I had met her but felt like I had known her for years….. She was the best so sweet and the way she spoke with her soft voice to us in our ceremony made me feel calm and at peace which was such a blessing. Trish White was the absolute dream officiant! Since the beginning Trish was rapid with her response, very flexible, affordable, very professional and knowledgeable about the whole marriage process and helped us with our marriage paperwork. Trish personalized our ceremony to our liking, asking our preferences/thoughts. She was flexible with the ceremony script and timely with drafts and final script. Trish went above and beyond for us. She worked hard on making our ceremony personalized and unique to us. She is such a genuine kind person. She was so helpful. Very responsive, and communicative. I'm already thinking of using Trish again for vow renewals down the road!! She let us enact our vision while providing guidance along the way. She was patient and understanding during an emotional time. She made the process extremely easy for us, even providing printed out instructions for how and where to pick up the marriage certificate after our honeymoon. Highly recommend!I Do, Too!'s reply:

Trish is the most wonderful person and we’re so thankful that she was our officiant. The first time we spoke with Trish we felt like we had known her forever! My husband and I were nervous for our ceremony because we’re a bit shy and don’t like attention, so standing in front of 150 people was not exactly in our comfort zone. But Trish just exudes the most loving, calm and comforting energy, so we knew we would be just fine standing up there because we had her support!
Trish held our hands through the entire process and helped us write the most beautiful ceremony script. I’m not even exaggerating when I say every guest came up to us to compliment how beautiful and intimate our ceremony was. We were so nervous leading up to the wedding because we wanted to read our own personal vows to each other but weren’t sure we would be able to get through them once it came time for the ceremony. Trish encouraged us and helped give us confidence, but also made sure we had a back-up ceremony script just in case we weren’t feeling brave enough in the moment. Luckily we got through our vows just fine and were so thankful we did because it made the ceremony so much more personal and intimate.
Trish also took care of our marriage license which was great not having to worry about that after the wedding. She also gave us a bound book of our ceremony script, vows, and other important documents from our ceremony as a keepsake, which was super thoughtful and touching! We are so happy that we chose Trish @ IDoToo! to officiate our 9/17 Linwood wedding. We booked her super last minute (had a change of plans with our initial church ceremony) and we were able to get to know each other so quickly even in a short period of time. Trish is very responsive, was able to hop on several phone calls / zooms, and even met us in person, all in a short span of time. We worked closely with her to tailor our ceremony to be super special, personal, and exactly US. EVERYONE cried and told us that our ceremony was the most beautiful and special that they've ever seen (which I feel like is rare because guests usually want to get through the ceremony ASAP, ha!) Trish was super early to the venue, was very professional, and handled all of the logistics/paperwork - we didn't have to worry about a THING. Just one word - AMAZING
My husband and I found Trish completely by chance and, honestly, at the very last minute, but I cannot say enough that she was a complete lifesaver. Our big wedding/reception was pushed back to 2021 because of COVID, but we still wanted to get married this year. Luckily (so we thought), my husband's Uncle Jim was supposed to marry us so this wouldn't be a problem. Well, the COVID curse struck again 3 weeks before the big day when Uncle Jim would no longer be able to travel up for our wedding since he resides in Florida, and New Jersey implemented new travel restrictions. Completely panicked, I went to the internet to find a replacement. We really expected to just find someone to quickly get the job done, but Trish was so so much more than that. She was quick to respond to all of our questions, made us feel special and loved, and the day was perfect. Our parents and siblings all raved about how great she was. You never would have guessed that we had only met her a few weeks prior-- that was how intimate and personal the ceremony felt. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant, and I will be recommending her to anyone that asks (or even if they don't ask!). If she was able to put together what she did after only knowing us for a couple of weeks, I can only imagine how special her services are if you book her from the start. From the start Trish has been nothing less than amazing! She worked with us step by step to tailor our ceremony to fit us in the months leading up to our wedding. Our wedding was originally scheduled to take place during what turned out to be the peak of the pandemic in New Jersey, so we were forced to postpone. As soon as we reached out to Trish, she immediately offered to still marry us on our day regardless of the circumstances and to also still perform the ceremony at our wedding when it finally happens. Trish was nothing short of amazing! Trish always went above and beyond to make Pete and I feel like family. She met with us several times before the wedding to ensure that our ceremony was exactly how we wanted it to be. She even recommended songs, poems and ideas for the readers as well as mentioned the idea of using a sand ceremony since our wedding was a beach theme! I had never heard of the sand ceremony before, but quickly fell in love with it when the idea was brought to the table. Trish was very responsive to my needs and was willing to work with us from afar. She even made changes last minute a few days prior to the wedding to make sure our day was perfect. We still receive compliments weeks after the wedding about how wonderful the ceremony was and how cool the sand ritual was. Trish was so friendly, welcoming and kindhearted. Wonderful!
We had the most wonderful experience working with Trish as our officiant. She was extremely professional and personal. She took time out of her busy schedule to meet us at our home and discuss all details of wedding day, putting all our worries at ease. I can't speak highly enough!
I can't speak highly enough of I Do, Too! Trish was truly amazing from start to finish. We planned our New Jersey wedding while living in Texas, holding down tow full time jobs, and being first time parents to an infant. Trish was patient and helpful as we negotiated these challenges. She gave us great suggestions for how to have our ceremony and was open to feedback when we wanted to make additions and changes. She sent us beautiful emails before and after the ceremony, and we had copies of the ceremony to look at and revise as needed (which it didn't!) The morning of the wedding, we were talking to vendors, planners, and guests-Trish was helpful and calm and did not need our help to get setup. She mingled with out guests and family seamlessly. The ceremony itself was beautifully written and delivered. We are so grateful she was there for the planning and execution of our special day. I would highly recommend Trish for any wedding or ceremony in the future. -

Patricia Sent on 03/10/2018We actually met Trish at a bridal show about a year before our wedding, we had met with a few officiants and didn't really get the energy from them we were hoping for, we felt like just another wedding, just two more people, just another day.. and with Trish we really felt like we were important to her, and the most important day in our lives was an important day to her, too - we loved how she spoke and how well we connected with her and couldn't have imagined our wedding being officiated by anyone else. She worked very hard to make sure our ceremony was custom tailored to us and how we are as a couple and exactly how we could have imagined it! She gave us a lot of great ideas on how to incorporate ideas of things we wanted into our ceremony. She was such a genuine pleasure to work with and can even be found getting a little emotioal during our vows. We had already booked our church to be married at and only got hit with the fact we needed an officiant that was a member of the clergy to officiate for us - and lucky Trish had all the credentials we needed (and then some!!) - Everything was beautiful and we thank her SO MUCH for being there for our special day! -Trish & Ari Palomino

Susan Sent on 12/05/2017Our ceremony was a bit out of the ordinary. Our only child together happens to be a 3 yr old Staffordshire Terrier/Neopolitan Masitff mix and we wanted her included in our nuptials, so we decided to tie the knot at our local dog park. Trish didn't hesitate for a minute, she was more than happy to accommodate us. She prepared a ceremony that related to us perfectly and she was more than professional even when the dogs all started to bark. One of our friends said "It was the best wedding of all time!" and we completely agree!!!

She helped me to write my own ceremony, did research for me on specific parts of our special handfasting, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we both wanted.
