Our wedding day was a dream. Everyone warned me before the day that something would go wrong, but nothing did! It almost felt as if I floated through the day like a dream. Kimmy and her team helped me flesh out my vision from the beginning, and gave options of the best vendors possible while still keeping cost conscious. She was also well versed in proper wedding etiquette, and well connected to many resources that helped streamline the process. In general wedding planning is stressful, but Kimmy and her team helped to make things feel less hectic, but did give fair warning when crucial deadlines needed to be met. She gives you timelines, and checklists of things to be done so you don’t have to do the heavy lifting. Even down to the wedding day she has a detailed plan of where each person needs to be and when, so that everyone is on the same page. On the day of the wedding hair and makeup etc went smoothly and I was on time and Kimmy and her team were able to keep the rowdy bridal party in check! Kimmy also spent time with me and my mom while getting dressed and was very helpful in keeping us calm. My guests had only the best things to say about the day, they were comfortable, fed and never waiting too long for the next event, three months later I’m still getting compliments about what a wonderful day it was. If you are looking to have a beautiful, meticulously timed and organized day while you and your partner are carefree, work with I do Islands. You won’t regret it! -

Where do we begin? Every single wedding guest has expressed that they had the best time ever at our wedding in Jamaica! They are actually wondering when Part 2 is being held LOL. When we first hired Kimberly and her I Do Islands Team, we could’ve never predicted our wedding would fall within an unprecedented Category 5 hurricane on the island. And somehow someway this team navigated the situation with grace, unmatched problem solving skills, and extreme professionalism.
Through this experience I Do Islands became family. From the moment we met Kimberly we honestly knew she was the one. It never felt like we were clients . Her attention to detail, organization, ability to budget, and her sharp vision steered our wedding in the direction it was meant to go.
In the days before the wedding, her team was right beside us, helping our guests navigate changed flights, hotels, and transportation. They barely slept. Their ability to work so well under pressure inspired us, and really kept us calm.

I Do Islands are expert wedding planners! Kim and Sarah are incredible to work with—well-organized, highly communicative, and attentive to every detail throughout the entire process. They excel at balancing the details while keeping sight of the bigger picture, which helped keep us on track. Their support throughout the planning process and on our wedding day was invaluable.
I Do Islands has extensive knowledge and a strong network of vendors across Jamaica, which allows them to efficiently match you with the right vendors to meet your specific wedding needs.
Early in our engagement, we visited Jamaica to meet Kim and Sarah in person for site visits. They created a comprehensive two-day schedule and took us across venue walkthroughs, food tastings, hair, makeup trials, and DJ meetings. This trip was super productive, and we selected all our vendors and wedding location from this single trip.
Throughout the planning process, we communicated primarily via email and Zoom. Zoom meetings focused on timeline-specific priorities—an approach that helped prevent overwhelm. While meeting frequency was flexible to our needs, we increased sessions as the wedding date approached. The team was always accessible for questions, and Kim and Sarah's seamless coordination meant either could pick up conversations where the other left off, ensuring consistently responsive communication.
During our day-before walkthrough and on our wedding day, the team was phenomenal—providing clear direction, instruction, setting the perfect tone for our bridal party, decisively pivoting when needed to keep things on track, and most importantly, cheering, prioritizing, and supporting us to the max!
We're incredibly grateful to have worked with I Do Islands, and highly recommend working with them! If you’re in the States and planning a destination wedding in Jamaica, they are absolutely the GO-TO planners! -

Best in Class!
Kim and the IdoIslands team made our dream wedding in Ocho Rios, Jamaica a reality! From the start, Kim was amazing—her attention to detail, expertise, and genuine care were clear from the get-go. Living in the US, we were initially worried about planning a destination wedding, but Kim made it super easy. She helped us narrow down venues and really brought our vision to life. On the day of the wedding, she ran everything like a well-oiled machine, blending and mixing our crowd of Jamaicans and Americans seamlessly. Everyone felt included and had an amazing time. We can't recommend Kim and her team enough to anyone planning a wedding. They were absolutely fantastic!

Kim and her team made our special day go seamlessly. It was definitely difficult planning a wedding in Jamaica from the US but she helped us with every step of the process. It was also difficult choosing vendors with out the chance to experience their services before but we 100% trusted Kim and it could not have gone better. The best food we had the entire time we were in Jamaica was at our wedding, the decorator she recommended went above and beyond and the day of Kim made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I would 10000% recommend using I-do-Islands for your wedding planning needs. We even had a weather crisis and Kim did not panic... and somehow neither did I.. she handled it, there wasn't anything she didn't think of. I'm so thankful for her and her team. THANK YOU KIM! -

Where do we begin!!
Kimmy and the I do Islands team were simply the best! We live in New York and trying to plan an international wedding is something in itself, but the I do Islands team helped everything go off without a hitch!
We shared our budget from the start, and they helped us stay on top of it. The team is so organized and took all the stress away. They shared the best vendors closest to the the venue to help with cost, and stayed on top of all communication. They shared their expertise on details and listened to our wants and needs. I could not have asked for a better experience. The day of was stress free because Kimmy & team had everything timed perfectly. If you are looking for a planner in Jamaica I do Islands is your team! By the end of it, they felt like family and I could have not asked for anything more!! -

I was extremely lucky to have the wedding planners I had and I know it was destined because finding a wedding planner was not an easy task! My wedding planners were honestly a gift from God! Exceptional Team & Service!
We could not have had a better experience with Kimberly and her team. They worked within our budget and were understanding of our priorities. They assisted us every step of our destination wedding including site visits, negotiating with the hotel, and recommending great vendors. Our wedding ceremony and reception came together beautifully even better than we had imagined. Even when something did go wrong, my mother twisted her ankle after the wedding ceremony, the I Do Team did everything they could to keep her comfortable while moving ahead with the day. James and I planned our wedding for 2 years with Kimmy's help. Our wedding was delayed due to COVID and with Kimmy and her team's help it was more than we ever dreamed. The I Do Islands Team helped provide the authentic West Indian wedding experience we were looking for. We booked our venue sight unseen and Kimmy and her team drove 2 hours to take a venue tour and send us videos for planning. Kimmy was available whenever we needed her, sometimes having zoom meetings at night or on weekends. She kept us on track with planning even with our busy work schedules. She helped us to pick the right vendors to curate our "Vintage Garden Wedding." She thought of every detail to make our day perfect. Our wedding day was a dream. Kimmy had all the vendors, the wedding party, our families and us organized, on time and happy. The I Do Islands Team went above and beyond what was expected of them. -

Planning a destination wedding in an ongoing global pandemic is no easy feat; however, Kimmy and her team made it such a wonderful experience that I will never forget. She is easy to work with, always available, VERY experienced and always has a solution. We started planning a year prior and she introduced me to some of the best vendors Jamaica has to offer. She kept me organized with our budget sheet. She made sure I read and signed all contracts. On the day of the wedding, she made sure my wedding party was on time, she made sure I ate, and anything I needed she was there for me. After this whole experience, I consider her my friend! Ahhh-mazing!
Kim Wong and the I Do Islands team were the best thing that could have happened to my wedding day! If you're detail-oriented like me, Kim is the planner for you! Every single thing was taken care of! I told Kim after the wedding that she must be a fairy - from big things like realizing there were no dessert plates and somehow finding plates just in the knick of time to smaller things like, magically appearing with lipgloss when I needed a touch up!
Our wedding day was absolutely magical and stress-free thanks to I Do Islands! Also, I know it sounds cliche, but Kim has definitely become more than just a planner to me. I'm excited to share all our future milestones with her and the team, honestly love them! -

At the beginning: Kimmy provided expert knowledge of vendors in Jamaica and guided me to the right ones for my vision and budget. During the planning stage: She calmed my anxieties leading up to the wedding day and navigated multiple complex challenges (including one postponement and another date change due to Covid) with ease. On the day: Kimmy and her team executed a flawless day, from coordinating with all 15 of my vendors, to setting up a beautiful venue, to solving day of problems, to holding my veil for the "money shot". Our wedding day was by far the most special day of our lives and it is all thanks to Kimmy and her team at I Do Islands. Kimmy is an amazingly talented professional, who goes the extra mile to make sure your wedding day is not only everything you dream of but she also has this unique super power that somehow made the whole process seamless and as stress-free as possible.
Leading up to the wedding and in the midst of planning, Kimmy and her team were always very patient and responsive. Whenever there were problems (and oh boy COVID surely presented us with "a few") - she was always ready with a solution, calming reassurance and even a shoulder to cry on. Kimmy and her team saw us through all the obstacles of a COVID wedding, including, a postponement, gathering restrictions, venue changes, zoom live-streaming, a possible thunder storm ETC. - and they still managed to give us the BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES. I could not have asked for a more dedicated, hardworking and knowledgeable team, working from start to finish to make everything happen.
Working with I Do Islands allowed us to really enjoy the day and live in the moment. On the day of the wedding, Kimmy and her trusted (life-saving) fanny pack were ready for ANYTHING - she readily tackled hair fly-aways, unglossed lips, a guest with an upset stomach (who reached out to praise Kimmy for being a true life saver after the wedding), and even helped me freshen up before my second look (and so much more!). Looking back, I'm so happy that I trusted Kimmy with planning and executing our wedding - you really can't find more capable and caring hands to be in!
The details were exquisite and the execution was beyond our expectations. We are BEYOND GRATEFUL. Thank you to Kimmy and her team for making our dreams come true. We absolutely recommend I Do Islands without hesitation! -

Kimmy was the best choice we made for our wedding. She produced a wedding day that was beyond what we could have expected. During planning, she always responded within minutes, she ALWAYS had a solution, she was efficient, recommended all the best vendors, was patient, kind hearted, and my husband and I knew she cared. When our wedding day came, it went so smoothly it was scary! Not a single issue came to my attention - Kimmy handled everything seamlessly. Our wedding was on January 25, 2020, and we are still getting compliments on our day! She somehow managed to be in 10 different places at once on the wedding day! She is amazing. There is nobody else I would recommend to a friend or family member getting married - this decision is a no-brainer. Kimmy is the best wedding planner in the industry hands down! Such a talented, caring individual who puts her clients first and takes the time to understand them and get to know them before making decisions for them. Tara Sent on 06/03/2018Planning a wedding in Jamaica from New York for 150 people was a daunting challenge in and of itself - not to mention the venue was a remote location on top of a hill, at a house with no infrastructure to host an event of this scale. Kimmie immediately put our minds at ease and assured us she would be able to pull it off. Leveraging her extensive experience and trusted team of vendors across the island, she planned and executed our wedding brilliantly. We could NOT have done this without her. During the months and weeks leading up to the big day, we were in constant communication and she spent as long as we needed to address our concerns, problem solve with us and reassure us that everything would work out. Having someone in our court every step of the way was incredibly supportive. On the week of the event, she was fully activated and handled a number of extraordinary, last minute challenges on her own reporting back only when it was absolutely necessary - she has great judgement, she is very professional, and our family and friends were singing her praises by the end of the weekend. We couldn't recommend her enough - you are in good hands with Kimmie and her team!

My husband and I now reside in the UK, but our hearts (and families) remain in Jamaica and Kimmy helped us to navigate the sometimes stressful road to our destination wedding. She kept us on track during the planning period, really listened to the view we had of what we wanted and worked with our vendors to bring the vision to life. If anything went wrong on my wedding day, I still do not know about it!! Kimmy had a detailed itinerary ready and made sure we stuck to it. She even kept my lip gloss on her person during the night and constantly checked in with me. Simon and I truly cannot say how thankful we are that Kimmy was our wedding planner, she is simply amazing at what she does.

Effortlessly Plan and Plan Again!
We planned a large wedding for almost 500 guests and ended up cancelling due to COVID, and Kimmy made it effortless with the last minute changes. What could have become a disaster with all the vendors, was effortlessly resolved and I was not bothered with any of the behind the scenes mess.
Kimmy and her team then helped us create a whole new plan at a new venue within weeks! Not sure how they did it, but we started from scratch with less than a month to plan, somehow they got it all together and it turned out better than expected!
Grateful to have Kimmy with me on my big day, I couldn't have done it without her! -
