The talent of Allie and her team is unmatched! Their ability to transform my abstract “vibe” into the most beautiful, cohesive, luxurious wedding day is so incredible. Our guests told us our wedding was the most fun, thoughtful, and joyous event they have been to, and Allie’s attention to every detail of the guest experience made all the difference. Allies dedication to building a relationship with her clients based on trust made all the difference for my husband and I. I love her and her team so much!!
Beckon events made our wedding a beautiful work of art—from sourcing the coolest napkin rings for us—to helping us pick the perfect vendors, they settle for nothing less than perfection. Worth Every Penny!
We could not have planned our dream wedding without hiring Beckon Events and was the best investment we made! Allie, Julia, and her team are PHENOMENAL in every way. Planning a wedding (especially one out of state), can be challenging and overwhelming, but Allie and her team's unparalleled expertise made the process seamless and stress free for us. All of her vendor recommendations were top quality people that were wonderful to work/plan with, and we couldn’t be more pleased with their services.
Allie cares so deeply about her clients and handled the unimaginable and everything behind-the-scenes with such professionalism and grace. She made our vision come to life and could only be described as something out of a fairytale! Our day was picture perfect and executed exquisitely. We could not be more grateful. The best in the business!
Planning a destination wedding can feel overwhelming, but with Allie by our side, it was an absolute dream! From the very first meeting, they took the time to get to know us as a couple and our families. It wasn't just about the venue and flowers – Allie and Julia truly cared about what made our day special.
Allie and Julia’s attention to detail is unmatched. We never had to worry about a single thing being overlooked. What truly impressed us was the ability to find the perfect vendors who not only fit our vision, but also worked seamlessly together. We would like to give a special thanks to our photographer Sarah Bradshaw, who took the most amazing pictures, capturing beautiful moments while being non-invasive, as well as Matt and Meredith Films. We would also like to shout out our amazing band, Steel Toe Stilettos, who really set the tone for the evening. Also, the whole team at Bridal Beauty Authority were very attentive to our own individual styles for hair and makeup. The flowers by Katie Asire went above and beyond with her outstanding designs. It felt like a well-oiled machine on the wedding day, and that is all thanks to Allie and Julia’s knowledgeable experience with wedding planning and over-all talent.

The best team!
Hiring Beckon Events was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process! Allie and her team were VITAL to the planning and execution of our day. We spent nearly 18 months with Beckon Events planning our October 2023 wedding. Allie traveled with us to (many) venue tours and guided us along the way with such professionalism. We ultimately decided on a beautiful venue that did present challenges both in planning and on the wedding day. My husband and I were clueless to any wedding weekend problems because they were handled by the team immediately. Beckon Events thought of EVERYTHING and handled any challenge with such grace. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness that went into planning made us feel so special during this season of life. Allie's extensive knowledge of vendors, layout and design made the planning process so easy and fun for us. Her ability to take our style and translate that to the design left us stunned on the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. We could have never planned anything as beautiful or as well thought out without Beckon Events. We would recommend them to anyone looking to have a professional and intentional planning and design team!-

Hire beckon events
If you do one thing in the process of planning a wedding, hire Allie and Julia from Beckon events. We are so fortunate to have had Allie along our side. She has attention to detail, creativity, and a genuine passion for what she does. Our vision was completely out of the box from what a traditional black tie wedding looks like and she worked to bring our event at the Ritz Carlton on Lake Oconee to life. She handled everything from our overall design, vendor management, and even family dynamics. Things do not go perfect with wedding planning and anytime there was an issue with vendors etc the team always had proposed alternatives ready to go.
When it came down to the day off, the team seamlessly coordinated with vendors, ensuring that everything ran like clockwork. We were blown away with the transformation of the event, and if things went wrong I can say one thing, we had no idea. We received countless compliments with how organized our wedding day flowed and our guests could tell we hired an amazing team to handle the day off. -

Phenomenal in every way
I can not rave enough about my experience with the Beckon team! Allie, Julia, and the rest of the team truly created the wedding of my dreams and went above and beyond in countless ways. From the first meeting, Allie asked about my priorities and intentions for my day and then remained focused on these throughout the planning process. I had autonomy in bringing up ideas and inspiration, but also quickly developed trust in their judgement and guidance and appreciated their suggestions and recommendations regarding vendor selection, decoration, timeline, and other details along the way. Her wisdom and experience allowed me to have peace of mind that every decision made along the way would be executed professionally and perfectly. Not only did Allie and Julia have excellent rapport with me, my husband, and my mom who was also central with the planning, but they also have incredible relationships with the vendors that we used. I could see the reasoning behind every recommendation that they made and would not have known how to select such high-quality vendors without their involvement. They handled all of the communication and coordination, leaving us able to simply enjoy the event without any “behind-the-scenes” stress!
Beckon truly knows how to plan an elegant and special event, and we had so many people tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended.
I had so much fun and it is largely due to efforts made by the Beckon team to take off pressure from me and to give security that everything was handled. Hiring Beckon as our planner was the greatest investment we could have ever made and I'd 100% do it all over again.-

We hired Beckon Events as our wedding planning team for our April 22, 2023 wedding. Allie and her team are an absolute dream to work with. She was beyond helpful in finding our vendors for our special day and always provided honest, thoughtful, and instructive advice as we made our decisions. She was attentive, creative, and imaginative and she transformed our wedding vision into our own unique reality. She helped us navigate all of the dreaded venue/vendor issues and made sure our entire day went off without a hitch. The best investment we made!
Allie and Julia at Beckon Events were hands down the best investment we made in our daughter's entire dream wedding! I didn't realize early in the planning process how much we would come to appreciate their value. With Allie's leadership, expertise and organization my daughter and I were able to thoroughly enjoy her entire bridal season from the start. What a gift?! She recognizes the importance of this time in a bride's life and makes it her mission to know you, make it one of joy and excitement, take the pressure off and bring your dream to fruition.
For example, Allie and Julia figured a way to bring a personal cake tasting to my daughter, her fiancé, my husband and me when we couldn't nail down a time to visit our destination venue and still fit everything else in. Fun, Fun!!!
However, the crowning moment was definitely on wedding day. No words can describe how far beyond Beckon Events exceeded our expectations. Allie's profession is her passion. She excels at her job. Hiring Beckon Events should be the very first thing you do at this very special time in your life. -

Second Time Client
I never knew the entirety of the details that go into planning a wedding until my first daughter got married four years ago. At that time, Allie helped us plan the special day, but I was able to handle many of the details myself. When my second daughter was engaged last summer, Allie was the first person I called before making any plans. Her service was invaluable to us the first time around, and I knew I didn’t want to do this without her help. This time around, we were navigating three significant family events and a move across the state! I was going to need more help! We hired Allie to pretty much take care of everything from beginning to end. No detail was left unattended, and having someone to help navigate vendor contracts and unexpected hiccups along the way gave us the peace we needed to enjoy our year of milestones without worrying about dropping any balls in regard to the wedding. From caterer to band to transportation and everything in between, her knowledge and experience with vendors helped us to not waste time as we made our choices. We gave Allie the difficult task of delivering an August wedding with a spring feeling, and we were not disappointed. With the help of our florist and carefully selected table dressings and wall draping, Allie transformed what I considered to be an awkward warehouse looking venue space into a beautiful spring garden complete with a garden swing! It was breathtaking! I had different ideas about how to use the space, and she made it work, realizing my vision to move the usual placement of the dance space and dining tables. My guests were also blown away, and my daughter was so pleased with every aspect of the day. Allie’s assistants were very professional and helpful, helping us to keep track of even small things like my sunglasses on the day of the wedding, as they would not fit into my purse. At the end of the event, everything I brought to the space was waiting for me in carefully packed bags, making our exit easy. If full service is what you are seeking, Beckon Events will deliver!-

Not a better Wedding Planner in South Carolina
Beckon was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Allie and her team are AMAZING! They do such a wonderful job of making you feel calm and confident that no matter what happens your day is going to be magical. I can say that I could not imgine going through the planning process without them. The team not only works with you on setting up a perfect vision but they are with you every step of the way. They did a wonderful job making sure we got stuff completed on time and were very open to any feedback we had. There were definitely hiccups during our process that were outside of Beckons control but they did a wonderful job of making sure we knew nothing was going to keep us from having the wedding we envisioned. Allie and her team made us feel like family and I can truly say the things her team can do and come up with are breathtaking. if you are looking for a wedding planner in South Carolina my only advice to you is HIRE BECKON EVENTS!! -

Beckon Events exceeded our expectations on every single front. Allie Barham and her excellent team are quintessential professionals. We had very high standards for quality regarding event details, and Beckon shared this philosophical approach in planning my daughter’s wedding. Their resources and vendor management are superior. Their ability to vet vendors on our behalf saved us a tremendous amount of time. Beckon’s knowledge regarding contracts, commitments and options were extremely worthwhile. Budget management remained an integral part of the process, and Allie’s scrutiny and understanding of value kept us on track. Allie and Beckon Events provided the perfect planning and day of coordination for our wedding.
Allie and the Beckon Events Team made wedding planning as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Allie planned our entire Oregon wedding from across the country in South Carolina and we were blown away with her talent. She thought about every detail of the day, helped us interview and select our team of vendors, and also provided onsite coordination for the day of our wedding. Our bridal party was impressed with Allie's attention to detail, and said that it was the most thorough rehearsal they had ever been a part of. Our bridal party and wedding guests commented on how perfect the wedding was, which is the ultimate compliment. Best Day Ever Thanks to Beckon Events
I started working with Beckon Events in spring 2019 and had a great time planning our wedding for April 25th, 2020. However, by the end of March 2020, it was clear that our original plan--a 200 person black tie soiree at the SC Botanical Gardens in Clemson, SC-- was not going to happen. Beckon handled the situation so smoothly and gracefully considering the immense amount of anxiety we were all experiencing about the unknown. They helped us swiftly move our date and deposits to the following spring, securing most of the same vendors as well as a few new ones.
My fiance and I still got married on our original wedding date with 8 other people at my parents’ Seneca, SC home, which was a lovely event for which we were very grateful. However, it was important to both of us to have the customary family celebration we had planned, so we would just have to be patient until it was possible to do. It was worth every minute of the two year wait!
While Beckon had pretty much perfected the plan for the party at the Botanical Gardens in Clemson, it became apparent around March of 2021 that the Gardens would not be reopening for events in time for ours. Once again, Beckon handled this situation with such gentleness and grace, it didn’t even feel that stressful. We decided to re-plan the party where my husband and I got married in 2020: my parents’ backyard and the adjoining lot that I had purchased to build on later.
By April 2021 we had a re-imagined plan for our dream wedding reception, and May 1st was everything we could have hoped for and more! Beckon’s design and the world-class vendors they work with created an environment that looked like it came directly out of my dreamscape. They captured our style and personality with the excellently chosen decor. It was comfortable and inviting while also being exciting and mystifying. It was truly an EXPERIENCE, which is why the value of a service like Beckon Events cannot be overstated. They not only designed and created the event that we had articulated but also moved me, my husband, and all of our loved ones through that experience with grace and ease, so that we could all focus on the special moments rather than the logistics that make such an event possible. The quality and professionalism of the vendors they work with are top notch, and they are all true masters of their respective crafts.
It turned out wonderfully that we pivoted to having our cocktail hour and photos in the space where we got married the year before and our reception adjoining--where we hope to have a future home. With fewer restrictions on private property, Beckon was able to make design changes that really elevated our previous plan to the next level and allowed them full creative license. Beckon and their vendors transformed empty spaces into magical places that had everyone present absolutely enchanted. I’ve never seen a dance floor fill up faster than it did after our first dances, as everyone shuffled over to swoon to I Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis. No one could help falling in love with the charm and beauty of this event!
I cannot say enough about how professional, brilliant, kind, creative, and frankly, badass the women of Beckon are. I have heard nothing but wonderful feedback on the party itself and all vendors present--many telling me it was the most beautiful or best party to which they had ever been. Several also told me it was “so YOU!” Goal achieved!
If you want to have an event that artfully yet tastefully exudes your personal style, if you want to enjoy that event and its planning process stress-free with people you can fully trust, if you want an experience that is amazing not only for you but all of your guests, if you want experts to have your back on your big day so your drink is always full and you don’t have to worry about or want for a thing...Beckon Events is the first place to start when you have something special on the horizon.

Absolutely The Best!
I don’t think I can put into words how absolutely fabulous working with Beckon is. Planning a wedding at any time is a challenge but add in the current pandemic and it is not for the faint of heart. But Beckon worked tirelessly to be sure that bathe time spent planning and the day of were full of nothing but joy and happiness . Allie and Kayla helped bring my wedding dreams to a reality and were able to bring to life the most magical day I could have imagined. The team is professional, organized, creative, detail oriented, and all around perfect at what they do. They will help you incorporate details you hadn’t even been able to put words to but they will help the vision became a reality. My husband and I could not have been happier with the way our day turned out and the team at Beckon was a major part of that. I would hire them one hundred times over and recommend them to anyone and everyone planning a wedding , you will not be disappointed. -

The Best in the Upstate!
We can not even begin to express our satisfaction with the Beckon Events Team. We had the unfortunate circumstance of having to postpone our wedding due to COVID19 1 month before the event. The Beckon Team did everything in their power to help us reschedule and essentially re-plan our entire wedding to come out even better than the first go around! I have a busy work schedule and can not imagine how I could have done this without Allie and Kayla. Their full service wedding planning is truly full service. They walked us through every small detail, helped me prioritize what was most important to me, helped me make each decision, recommended the best vendors, sent me reminder emails, and executed the entire event flawlessly. Allie brings vast experience from the industry that is invaluable for the design and planning process. Kayla is so organized and remembered every little idea and detail I ever mentioned. Every vendor we worked with had nothing but praise for the Beckon Team and expressed how much they love to work on their events. The day came together perfectly and was better than we could have ever imagined. Not only was the design absolutely stunning, but the entire day went off without a hitch due to their day off coordination. Beckon events is the best!
We cannot speak highly enough of Beckon Events! I can't imagine what 2020 has been like for them, but they never waivered in their professionalism and guidance as we had to postpone our wedding from spring to winter.
They were a breeze to work with from the beginning, and always put up with my being very "direct" with regards to my vision for the event... : ) As an amateur planner myself, they anticipated things I hadn't even thought of.
FINALLY getting to meet the Beckon team on the day-of was very exciting and they kept things running smoothly with no issues. From their "disaster kit" to running around in the rain, I can't imagine hosting a wedding without their expertise. Helpful, experienced, and delightful, I highly recommend Beckon Events for your next event.

10/10 Beckon Events
Words cannot describe what a blessing Beckon Events was to myself, my husband, and my parents. We hired them before COVID hit, having no idea what lied ahead. Our 150 person wedding quickly became 25, and Beckon Events was there every step of the way. They helped us plan the most magical wedding that we could have ever dreamed of, even in the midst of a pandemic. Allie and Kayla were wonderful to work with - sweet, responsive, professional and creative. They truly made our vision come to life. Outstanding!
We were a bit nervous at first hiring Beckon Events for our Indian wedding. We weren't sure just how much they would know or be able to help with when the events are so crazy, jam packed, and culturally different. But we were absolutely wrong! Beckon Events completely blew us away! The amount of research that their team did beforehand to understand our religious events and the meaning behind them was just the most amazing added touch. It truly warmed our hearts and made us feel all the more special. Indian weddings are notorious for running behind and having everything go wrong, but I can safely say we were not that case! Our family and friends are still raving about how organized and on time the events were, which never happens! The entire team was on top of it all the full (very long) day! They even helped me stitch my dress when the zipper broke and helped me take off all my jewelry, bobbi pins. The extra added bonus was walking into our suite after the reception and seeing a slice of each tier of our cake with some champagne laid out on our table. I would not recommend anyone else besides Beckon Events to help create your special day! Thank you again! -

Outstanding wedding planners
Our daughter was married on October 26, 2019. Upstate I do helped us from the beginning to the end. They took care of everything. They were so professional and had so many great ideas! It made the whole wedding process so much more enjoyable knowing we had someone taking care of every detail. You have a team that works with you throughout the whole entire process. The day of the wedding we had 3 people on site making sure everything was done. How does someone do it without a wedding planner? Thankfully, I don't know. I highly recommend Allie and her team. -

Perfection!
Allie and her team were absolutely phenomenal!! They had everything covered. There was not a worry for bride, groom , wedding party or family. Even the clubhouse manager, who has overseen many weddings, learn a lot from Allie. The team was always very calm and reassuring. They stayed until everything was over and even helped the club staff get things back in order for the next mornings event!! I highly, highly recommend I Do. -

Mother of the Flower Girls
I was the mother of the flower girls for our sister-in-law’s wedding. I could not have been happier with the personal service and attention my daughters and I received over the wedding weekend. It was so nice not to have to bother the bride with my random questions. Allie is a mom of small kids and knows just how to communicate with them and convince them to do just what the bride wants. The festivities would not have been the same without help from I Do! -

The Absolute Best!
Gosh, where to start - My wife and I first saw the Upstate I Do team in action at a good friends wedding a couple years ago. To say the least, we were both very impressed. Fast forward a couple years, and it was our time to start planning our wedding day.
Before reaching out to Upstate I Do we had a few details already planned. We had a date and a location locked in down in Charleston, SC. We met with a few local planners down in Charleston and also met with Upstate I Do because they were local to us in Greenville. Allie and Bri had us pretty quick on day 1. Their curiosity about our wants and their excitement about the chance to make our wedding day our best day ever was extremely evident. You could tell they were passionate about what they do and made us feel extremely comfortable and confident in their service.
We spent the next 12 months working with Allie, Bri, and the Upstate I Do team and it was amazing. Whether is was communication through texts, calls, google hangouts, 3-way FaceTimes, in person meetings, or on-site venue visits, every time we talked with the Upstate I Do crew we became more and more excited of what the actual wedding day would be like. They brought so much knowledge to the entire process. Everything from vendor recommendations to design ideas that would align with our visions of the day. They were so great to work with and made the process of planning such a fun and enjoyable part of the wedding experience.
When it came time for our wedding day, it went flawlessly. It absolutely was the best day ever. Everything came together like clockwork with absolutely no worries or stress put on my wife or me. Seeing the overall vision that the Upstate I Do crew put together, all become a reality, was a moment that we will always remember. Not to mention it is now two months later and we still have people saying how awesome the wedding was! The entire Upstate I Do crew are superstars.
Allie and Bri, simply put, y’all are top notch. We cannot express our gratitude to y’all enough for everything y’all did to make June 1, 2019 the best day of our lives. Y’all were such a huge part in creating the day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you!

Best Investment of the Entire Wedding
I wish I could accurately put into words the value that Allie and Bri brought to my wedding planning process and my actual wedding day. All I really need to say is that my parents (who paid for it) and I (who planned most of it) all agreed that hiring Upstate I Do was hands down the best investment of the entire wedding budget. Throughout my short 5 month engagement, "What would Allie & Bri say?" became the simple way that my mom and I made wedding decisions - we both respected their professional opinions and insight so much that we were able to avoid many of the typical wedding disagreements. Even my fiance, who wasn't as into the "planning" part, enjoyed their honest and transparent style. The magic of Allie and Bri is that they work beautifully as a team for YOU - while one may take a more central role in your day, they are in lockstep behind the scenes to anticipate your needs as well as corral an army of vendors. They are organized and ultra professional, while still being warm and enthusiastic supporters of your particular and unique wedding vision (and will gently guide you if you don't have much vision, like me). Once the planning was over and the big day rolled around, I felt like I could be a guest at my own wedding because I knew they had every last detail handled. My only complaint is that they couldn't actually party with us when it was time to celebrate because they were still working hard - it felt like we'd gained a few new friends/family members! -

Highly Recommend Allie & Bri!
My wedding was just a few weeks ago, but I couldn’t wait any longer to write a review for Upstate I Do. My job is incredibly time consuming, and given that I live and work in NYC, but wanted to have a wedding in Greenville, SC, I knew I would need help planning.
I got the Malbec package, plus added on the Design Planning, which was the best way for me to go for my day and my needs.
I was completely blown away by these ladies, throughout the entire process. They made everything so easy for me, often going above and beyond what one would typically expect of a wedding planner.
So detail oriented, and didn’t miss a beat. I felt like I had someone holding my hand during the entire process. I was just involved as I wanted to be. They made my vision come to life, but it was so much better than what I had pictured. The venue was STUNNING. They had so many unique ideas and I’m so grateful for their creativity. They have impeccable taste and I fully trust whatever they think made sense.
That was just the wedding planning. The day of was a whole other story. These girls are passionate and it’s evident in their work. Allie was at my venue at 8am till the event started helping to set up. And Bri was by my side literally the entire day, Helping me get into my shoes putting my mail own, she was literally like another bridesmaid. I even got dirt in the back of my dress on the wedding chapel, and of course Bri had exactly the right tools to take care of that. When I saw that there was dirt on my dress, I didn’t even get nervous because I knew that Bri would handle it and that everything was gonna be OK. And trust me, I’m typically not a person who handles those things well.
That’s only captures ‘one’ of the lifesaving moments These girls performed on my wedding day.
I couldn’t recommend upstate I Do more.

She is extremely organized and attentive to the smallest details (ones you wouldn’t even think of). Additionally, she is very responsive to emails, thorough, and she looked out for us in every way. Bri handled things before I even knew anything needed to be handled. We added design to our package, and my hopes and dreams for both venues were far exceeded. The lovely ladies at Up State I Do surpassed our expectations when it came to planning Brittany and Ben's wedding on February 10, 2018. We first met with Allie a short 6 months before our wedding date, and she was so encouraging and helpful, especially given our short time frame. She listened to my daughter's wishes and was able to construct a design pallet that was personal and elegant. The vendors she suggested were also very professional and worked closely within our budget. The only surprises on our wedding day were the surpassed expectations at every turn. The flowers, the venue decor, the hair and make up, the food, the band, the cake, and the service were beyond our imagination. Allie was even able to secure special transportation and a videographer at the last minute. Not even the rain was able to spoil the day, as Allie and our amazing photographers came up with a rain plan that ensured we still had beautiful outdoor pictures before and after the ceremony without spoiling the bride and groom's desire to not see each other before the ceremony. Allie had excellent suggestions born of her experience, yet she took care to make adjustments based on Brittany's wishes. The result was a seamless event that appeared flawless despite a few things I forgot. We received so many compliments from our happy guests, but most importantly, we left with the knowledge that we gave our daughter an incredibly personal and memorable day. Our hearts are full. -

Where do I even begin?! I could seriously go on forever about how wonderful Upstate I Do and specifically Bri Sizemore are. Choosing Bri as our wedding day-of coordinator was by FAR the easiest and best decision we made in the whole wedding planning process. She is the most joyful, loving and organized person I could have imagined finding to help on our day. This may sound silly, but she was wearing a black top and long black pants outside in South Carolina in AUGUST, and she was literally running everywhere to make sure every single little detail was perfect and my bridesmaids and I are still talking about it 5 months later. I am typically a procrastinator as you may notice by this review being 5 months late, but you would have never known it by how efficiently Bri helped me plan the wedding. I am one to get fairly easily stressed out, and I came to Bri 2 months before the wedding with no decorations, no florist, no lighting, no chairs... I mean the list could go on, and she never once made me feel like I was behind or needed to stress which is a feat in itself. She recommended the most amazing florist and helped nail down so many details. She went WAY above and beyond the "day of coordinator" title. My husband and I are so, so grateful to have found her, and we would and will continue to recommend her to anyone and everyone!! Even if you don't think you need a coordinator, you need Bri- I promise!! -

We hired Alexandra Barham from Upstate I Do for our wedding in September. She and her exceptional team superseded all of our expectations and made our wedding memorable and stress-free. Throughout Alexandra's experience in event planning she has connected with an array of vendors throughout the community, creating the perfect fit based on quality, style and budget that is specific to each couple. I tend to procrastinate, so it was great to have someone who communicates efficiently between the vendors and the client to ensure everyone is staying on top of their tasks.
We were in such good hands and totally trusted Alexandra for the entire design process. She helped create a design that was far more than Pinterest could conceive, and was a flawless representation of us as a couple. She incorporated boho vibes with a touch of traditional, and added unique concepts like a circular seating arrangement for the ceremony, a comfortable lounge area and a teepee cake display.
Alexandra made the entire day run seamlessly, keeping us in the loop about what we needed to be doing and when. She also took care of everything behind the scenes like all the set up, vendor management and attire adjustments, even helping locate the missing wedding band just in time!
Alexandra is extremely professional, punctual and always does her job with a smile on her face. Everyone attending had an amazing time, and I could not imagine our wedding day being pulled off without her! I was so happy to have her helping me navigate through a whirlwind of a day from start to finish. -

After seeing all their hard work, and everything come together in the end, I could not have been more pleased. My wedding day was everything I had imagined plus much more. I was the bride of the wedding that Upstate I Do planned for me. And when I say planned for me they literally did EVERYTHING all I had to do was make decisions- and when I couldn't they gave great input and helped me along. They are a fun, hard-working team and if problems or bumps in the road came up they tackled them with great professionalism and with a smile. I did purchase the highest package you could through their company as I was planning a 'destination' wedding and needed all the help I could get! Allie is a wonderful wedding planner. The wedding took place in Greenville, SC and my daughter, the bride, lives 250 miles away. From the moment we meet Allie I knew she would make everything perfect, and she did. What she accomplished in 8 months was amazing. The wedding day was magical and flawless. Bri and the team at Upstate I Do were an absolute dream to work with. Bri's strength definitely lies in communicating with and managing vendors the week and day of the wedding, and was able to work well with them to execute my vision for the day. She was flexible with our in-the-minute changes and remained calm when I don't think I could have. I would absolutely recommend Upstate I Do to any couple getting married; the moving pieces of the big day are overwhelming, and it was amazing to have a team focused on logistics so we, along with our guests, could enjoy the day. -

Upstate I Do and Bri, particularly, far exceeded my expectations! I could not have asked for a better quality of service - Bri always responded to my emails immediately and remembered every little detail I had mentioned in our meetings. She is an Esty researching master! They were great with the logistics of a very complicated wedding in a remote location that had no water or power. They handled bringing in caterers, a tent, generators, and bus transportation to and from the wedding. They also were conscious of our budget and our vision for what we wanted for our wedding. I could not have asked for a better team - they went above and beyond on every occasion! I don't have the professional photographer pictures in yet - but even those below from iphones are GREAT!
Also, Bri tracked down the EXACT skirts I had seen in a wedding magazine that were custom made by girl in NYC. I couldn't believe it! -

This wedding was magical! Bri was amazing, so full energy, smiles and can do attitude. Although I’m sure I met others on the I Do team, Bri stood out through her leadership and enthusiasm. Allie was the lead coordinator for my May wedding in Greenville, SC. I can say without a doubt that I don't think I could have pulled off our wedding without her! From the initial meeting, she just seemed to get our vision for the ceremony and reception (even when my groom gave her direction that was seriously hard to interpret- "noble simplicity" and "like the royal wedding" ... but not on the royal budget). She helped me to narrow down and select vendors with no headache or research on my part, just based on her extensive knowledge of the area and relationships with vendors. When it came time to styling my event, Allie came up with the coolest ideas that I never would have thought of- we brought trees inside a ballroom! And she and the girls at Upstate I do helped to execute all of my other bridal whims- from giant balloons to a boxwood wall, no task was too big or too small. And during the actual wedding weekend, having Allie's down-to-the-minute checklist in hand and cell phone number in my pocket helped to alleviate all my wedding jitters and avoid any scheduling snafus.
When we had a loss in our family during the planning process, Allie was sensitive in helping us process the loss and honor our loved one in a way that felt right for us. Seeing Allie at our reception and seeing how everything turned out, I felt like I had gained a friend who just happened to be a highly capable event coordinator:) Can't thank you enough!

Our experience with the women of I Do was perfect! They successfully planned with us for a year and a half and were on top of the last minute details. Shout out to our planner Shelby for making our day absolutely perfect. Without I Do, we wouldn't have had as positive of a planning experience and we definitely wouldn't have had the most beautiful, perfect, detail oriented, delicious, bright and smoothly run wedding of all times.
If you're like me and you think, oh I can plan my own wedding, I can craft, I can coordinate, I can organize it all - trust me when I say you will be so thankful by the end of it all that you had a planner to fall back on. Just their vendor lists are worth their weight in gold! Not only was the planning up to the wedding successful, but everything went so smoothly the day of. Courtney lives in San Francisco, and Bri followed through and coordinated all the activities for the wedding. She handled every detail, it was like she was planning her own wedding. It was an amazing experience working with Bri.

I was in the maid of honor in my sister's wedding and was really impressed with Bri & Anna. They were super attentive and responsive, brought high energy and smiles to the table every day, and worked hard to ensure everything was seamless. My sister actually overheated in the dress she was wearing on the dance floor during the reception, and Bri did not hesitate to offer to run back to her condo to grab a change of dress. She stayed calm during the situation and was very solution oriented. It made my sister feel at ease. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, my sister just kept saying to me "my amazing wedding planner Bri is handling everything" - and from what I saw, she was right! We ran into an issue about one month prior to our daughters wedding when the coordinator we had been working with abruptly left the company. We were shocked and worried when we got the call informing us. But here is where "I Do" stepped up and showed they were a first class company. We were immediately assigned a new AND BETTER coordinator named Bri. She was/is our previous coordinator times 2, on speed.. :-)
By the time we met with Bri, she had reviewed all the information on file and was asking specific questions to our plans. The professionalism Bri showed was beyond our expectations. Folks... if you are looking to use upstate "I Do", ask specifically for Bri...you will NOT be disappointed guaranteed!

Allie and her team were phenomenal throughout the entire wedding planning process. They prioritized our budget with every vendor we used, and completely shouldered the load when it came to fielding emails and calls. The day of went off with out a hitch. I would recommend Allie to any future groom who is wary of hiring a wedding coordinator. -

Allie and her team were invaluable in planning my 40th birthday party - not their usual gig, but they were willing to take a leap with me to plan my epic event. I had a vision of the evening that I wanted to create and, simply put, she made it happen, down to the last detail. In fact, she and her team created an experience that was far beyond anything that I could have ever imagined. Communication was seamless, coordination with vendors was top notch, and my confidence in the wonder that would be my party was unwavering because of this team's talent. I have memories that will last a lifetime, and I could not have accomplished that without Allie. Guests are still raving about the event, describing it as the best party they've ever been to. I have and will continue to recommend Upstate I Do to anyone that hopes to have an amazing experience. I can't thank Allie and her team enough for making all of my party dreams come true. I was part of the bridal party and Heather and Monica were great during the rehearsal and day of events! I know they took a huge weight off the bride knowing that everything was being taken care of and very seamlessly! They even left a cute pic in the guest book which was a little special touch! -

If you are debating whether to use I Do as your event coordinators stop debating and say YES! They made my day go from amazing to a dream. I was stress free the ENTIRE day and it went SO smoothly because of their professionalism and time management! I wish I could get married again just to work with them again! haha -

The absolute best money I spent for my recent wedding was on finding this talented team, and I would gladly and whole-heartedly recommend them to any soon-to-be bride.
My husband and I are both designers for a living and are currently living and working crazy hours for startups in San Francisco, California, but we needed to plan a wedding on the East Coast in 6 months. I honestly don't think we could have done that without I Do's help. We paid for the highest package possible, and were NOT disappointed. It is worth every single penny you spend.
Our planner, Lindsay, was an absolute Godsend. I always looked forward to having an email from her in my inbox because I knew that it would be exciting! (And trust me, there were a lot of emails exchanged.) She was on the front lines of our planning experience, communicating back and forth with our vendors, keeping our budget in line, and helping us crystallize our ideas. On the day of the wedding, she was gracefully facilitating set up, wrangling lost family members, and even running to CVS to buy lash glue to fix my sister's eyelash that fell off before the ceremony. We couldn't have been more thankful to have worked with her.
I Do took our vision and made it a reality better than we could have ever expected. They have all of the right connections in the Greenville and surrounding areas to truly match vendors with you based on your preferences and personality, and because of this, we loved our vendors just as much as we loved our planners! -

My family chose 'I Do' based on past experience; my oldest daughter used 'I Do' two years ago for her wedding. We were so pleased with their services that my youngest daughter immediately contacted them when she began to plan her wedding. Allie and staff of 'I Do' guided us through every step of the process for a period of time more than 1 year. They recommended vendors, but let us choose the ones we preferred. They helped plan the budget, contacted vendors, helped us negotiate prices and services within our budget, and maintained constant communication with our vendors and with us. They helped with favors, programs, and many unique ideas throughout the planning process. In the weeks before the ceremony, Allie confirmed details, coordinated vendors, constructed and provided a specific timeline for each member of the wedding party. On the day before and the day of the ceremony, she kept the wedding party on schedule, ran multiple errands, provided setup and takedown, coordinated other vendors to ensure the wedding went smoothly, which it did, thanks to the hard work, and professional, yet personal, service provided by Allie.
After using 'I Do' for both of my daughters' weddings, I would recommend their services to anyone! After both weddings, other vendors voluntarily praised the quality of the devices provided by 'I Do' in comparison to other vendors they'd worked with. Even guests commented about how organized and smooth the ceremony was. The service was invaluable, and the cost was very reasonable. Because of 'I Do,' we were able to relax and enjoy every moment of the wedding. I'd give a rating higher than 5 if available! -

Where do I even begin?? Simply put, Allie & the Crew at Upstate I Do are INCREDIBLE! I can truly say that every single detail of my wedding was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT & everything turned out better than I could ever imagine.
Allie & the Crew are so much fun & I had a BLAST working with them! Wedding planning can be stressful, but Allie & the Crew had a solution for EVERYTHING. It almost seemed too easy at times because of how smoothly everything went, but they really know what they are doing! I will always be amazed at their organization. The amount of work they put into the various timelines, budgets, & to-do lists is incredible. One of my favorite things they created was a design board that showed all the details of my wedding, including the layout, decorations, flowers, furniture, etc so that I could envision the exact look of my wedding day. They also helped us find all of our vendors (trust me...they know the best of the best!) AND they handled all of the communication with them which was a HUGE help!
Lindsay Shaw, one of the wedding planners at Upstate I Do, was also very involved in my planning process. She was equally amazing to work with & I couldn't have done it without her! At my wedding reception, Lindsay & Allie made sure that me, my husband, & our family members were able to enjoy every moment of the reception. They catered to us left and right so that we didn't have a thing to worry about at the reception....we never even had to leave the dance floor! We even had guests tell us that Allie & Lindsay catered to them as well!
I would have been completely lost without Allie & the Crew at Upstate I Do. They exceeded all of my expectations for my wedding. Their personality, organization, hospitality, & design aesthetic cannot be matched. I cannot thank them enough for all of the hard work they put in to making my wedding ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I would HIGHLY recommend Upstate I Do without any hesitation!!! -

I Do completely surpassed all of my expectations for wedding coordination and planning. We booked the silver package and added on a few meetings/services. We chose to add on a budget meeting, an initial design meeting (to help me come up with a concept and colors for the wedding), and a couple of vendor visits. We planned our entire wedding from out-of-state, and I Do made it come together seamlessly. They were very responsive to all of my questions, and have a great system in place for managing the day-of logistics. They worked with our vendors to put together a day-of schedule, and I loved not having to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding! I was completely overwhelmed when we started the wedding planning process, and I Do was great about guiding me through each step and providing their inputs! I would highly recommend I Do to anyone getting married in the Upstate. -
