The best investment we made for our wedding

When my fiancé said he wanted to get married in Alaska, I thought it was just a phase and that he would change his mind. After a few months of planning a wedding on our own, we knew we needed help. That is when we found Lorell. She took what seemed to be an impossible dream and made it a beautiful reality. She went way beyond my expectations! She was always there for us. In every detail, step by step, she created my fairytale wedding. Hiring Lorell is a must! You will not be disappointed! She is very kind, professional and listens to what you want and need. She offers top notch service and the outcome was a person I can now call my friend. -

I can't say enough wonderful things about working with Lorell. She was truly a magician when it came to making our special weekend absolutely perfect. From the moment we hired her, she took our somewhat random plan and ran with it, turning our vision into a reality that felt like a dream.
We went with the one carat package for more day-of wedding management. I knew I could invest time and effort into the planning process leading up to our big day but when it came to the day itself, I wanted someone I could absolutely trust to take the reins and ensure everything went off without a hitch. Lorell was that person. She made it possible for me to approach the day without a single worry or hesitation, and that peace of mind was absolutely priceless.
What truly set her apart was her ability to work her magic behind the scenes. I'm sure there were things happening on the back end, but I didn't have a clue about them. That's the mark of a true professional - making everything seem effortless and flawless, so that we could fully immerse ourselves in the joy and love of our family and friends.
Looking back at our weekend at Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge, I think of it as a dream surrounded by so much love. Smooth sailing wedding planning
If you want a planner who will makes you feel heard, special and ensures that you get your dream wedding then Lorell is your girl. My fiancé and I are from California and chose to have our destination wedding in Alaska. We had never visited Alaska before or during the planning process which could potentially stress out any bride. But everything was smooth sailing with Lorell by our side. She is such a sweet and kind planner who always puts the needs of her clients above all else. -

Lorell was the perfect wedding planner on so many levels. She is extremely professional, organized, and patient -- what everyone needs from their planner. Things that made her stand out:
+ She allows for unlimited emailing and contact throughout the process and didn't feel like she was "gatekeeping" information just because we didn't get a larger package
+ We didn't feel like a trend or something she could post on instagram just to further her work -- she was invested in us and our needs
+ She values other Alaskan wedding vendors greatly and that is just a general positive sign of her loyalty, support, and never ending feeling of "I have your back"
+ More on the "I have your back", it was so strong and I felt like I had someone on our team, looking out for our best interests and ensured we got what we were looking for within our budget
+She also has a lot of experience which put me at ease the day of because if anything went wrong I knew she was going to be able to handle it.
+She recommended the perfect vendors for us and helped assemble a team that she knew would lead the perfect day. She also made great recommendations to get the decor exactly where we wanted and within budget.
+Lorell provides two website services to help establish a formal timeline that is shared with vendors and a separate site for the vision, resources, and a place to set up your layout.
You get a lot for your money! The day of the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything and it came out exactly how we discussed and planned for.
She helped give us the perfect wedding 11/10. -

Lorell is an absolute dream!! We are SO grateful we had Lorell planning our wedding and supporting us through the stress, emotions, and chaos of the day and all days leading up to the event.
My husband and I are originally from California and planned to get married in our favorite place in the world (Alaska). When we did our initial consultation with Lorell, we instant clicked and knew she'd be perfect for us. When the pandemic hit, Lorell was supportive and helpful in getting everything postponed, which we appreciated since it's really difficult to plan a destination wedding in the middle of a pandemic. When the time finally came to pick up on the wedding planning, Lorell was on top of everything. She scheduled meetings, told us what need to be done by when, helped communicate with the other vendors, and more! She made this process such a breeze.
When the big day finally came, Lorell literally did EVERYTHING. I'm so used to being in control and on top of everything so it was really hard for me to just "relax" on the big day. But Lorell was on top of the vendors, the wedding party, the family, etc. She made the day such a breeze. It's because of her that I was able to actually enjoy my big day without having to worry about anything. And when we encountered issues during the reception, Lorell was on top of it and made sure that I didn't have anything to worry about.
If you're thinking about hiring Lorell for your event (wedding or other), she's your gal! If I had to go back, I would choose Lorell every single time. She's amazing to work with and I'm so glad I found her. The best thing about it is that I get to walk away from this experience with a new friend! -

Lorell was without question the best investment we made for our wedding. Our wedding was a destination event, and she was honestly THE main reason for our peace of mind. She is so personable, friendly, and charming, all while being the reliable professional that anyone would want on their team. Not a single one of our wedding guests did not notice how awesome she was at running the event while also staying behind the scenes. If you want to make sure your wedding or event is as successful as can be, the first thing you need to do is hire Lorell. Thank me later. -

Beyond expectations
While in the planning process I needed help with decorating the event, especially the guest tables. Lorell helped me pick items and made sure the decorations looked cohesive. On the wedding day she made the venue look so beautiful and she executed everything perfectly. She ran the wedding smoothly to ensure everything was going according to plan. She made sure my husband and I had a chance to eat while we were being pulled in different directions. Lorell truly made our wedding a success.

I had always promised myself that when I got married, I would hire a wedding planner to help with my day. I had witnessed first-hand the stress that weddings bring for setup and during the day. I hired Lorell for day of planning/coordination and I am SO happy that we did. From our initial meeting before actually hiring her, she brought so much energy and excitement into that first meeting. Her overall personality, energy, and presence confirmed that I needed her for my wedding day! Well a year and a pandemic later, I am so happy to have had Lorell there during our wedding. I can say with so much confidence that I would not have been able to fully enjoy my wedding day had it not been for Lorell and her team. Being able to hand over all of the plans that I had made over the year and for her to make the vision come to life was well worth EVERY PENNY. If you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner, I would say that this will be one of your wedding investments that you will never regret, and to BOOK HER! Highly recommend, 10/10! -

Where to begin... Lorell is absolutely AMAZING!!! She is personable, professional, hard working, and helpful beyond words. Hiring Lorell was hands down our best wedding related decision, besides getting married of course :) From day one she provided us with a priceless experience. She met with me monthly and assigned tasks to assure that we were on track with planning. She helped us find a band and a DJ that were the perfect fit. Come the week of our wedding, she had everything under control. She coordinated deliveries between vendors, got everything set up (and looking beautiful), and assured that the activities of the day went along smoothly. Not to mention all of the set up and take down that she did for our wedding. So much work. We are very thankful that we had her!!! She is detail oriented and highly organized. She thinks quick on her feet if and when plans need to be adapted. She makes herself available to you, and is always prompt to respond to any question or concern. She has a wealth of knowledge in the field, and it shows. She knows what she is doing, and she is good at it. We cannot say enough positive things about her. If you are considering hiring a wedding planner, look no further! If you don't think you need a wedding planner, reconsider! ;) i do Events helped to enhance our wedding experience and we are forever grateful. -

Personalized, Professional, Unfussy Wedding Planning
I had such a fantastic experience with Lorell. My situation was needing to have a fairly large, fancy wedding without knowing the first thing about weddings. Lorell gave me all the advice and information I needed without pushing anything on me. Lorell is very knowledgeable about local vendors and has good relationships with venues, photographers, caterers, etc. She found a florist for me that was incredible for a low cost. Lorell was always available to me, even after my wedding, and her software was very helpful and easy to use. Highly recommend! -

ido events just made everything easy and ensured that everything went to plan (and when they didn't they turned out even better than expected!). We hired Lorell to set up our wedding and to be the coordinator on the day of the wedding. Her team put so much creativity into the decor and set-up for the wedding - it was beyond what I imagined. She allowed all of my guests to relax and not lift a finger, which made her worth every penny! She listened to everything I wanted, was flexible when I wasn't sure what to do with certain ideas, and always responded to my email and calls. I highly recommend a day-of-coordinator, and Lorell's price was the perfect value. She went above and beyond - we can't thank her enough for making our day so special and beautiful!
