Wonderful photographer and human being

Frank was absolutely amazing!! I could haven't asked for a better photographer. He is super chill and down to earth. We had to postpone 3 times because of covid, he was super understanding with having to change the dates.
It rained for our engagement session, so he offered to retake them for us when the weather was better.
Then for our wedding it literally monsooned for our outdoor ceremony. He offered to take post- wedding photos when the weather was better.
He really went above and beyond for us. He made us feel really comfortable when getting the photos done, he had some really cool and creative ideas for the photos too.
We are super happy that we went with him for photos and are happy to say we've gained a friend as well!

Amazing photographer, book him right now!

Frank is the most fantastic person to work with! He went above and beyond for our engagement and wedding photos and we can’t thank him enough for making our wedding day even more amazing with his positive attitude and professionalism. His creative photography style allowed us to have tons of beautiful photos from our big day! He was flexible about changes in our plans due to COVID-19, he made everyone feel comfortable, and all of our guests had such wonderful things to say about him during and after our wedding. Frank is so much fun to work with, we can’t recommend him highly enough!

Frank did my engagement and wedding photography for my wedding in November 2013 at Balboa Park (engagement) and La Costa Resort and Spa (wedding ceremony) and Emerald Chinese Restaurant (wedding reception). I can't thank you enough for the professionalism, creativity, passion, and good fun! I can tell why Frank is so good at what he does is because he truly enjoys what he does! Thanks for getting to know us and then taking what you learned to reflect in beautiful pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime! Frank shot our engagement pictures before our wedding and we were more than pleased with his amazing work. He is artistic and he is transparent. My husband and I felt like it was just us. Frank and his assistant were overall amazing at our wedding. For the group pictures (obviously posed) he was directional but not pushy or bossy and for the rest of the wedding, I know he was there but I didn't even notice him!! He is exactly what we were looking for and more!! When we get pregnant, we will be using his services again. Thank you so much Frank!!!

Frank was amazing! We originally balked at the price it cost for a wedding photographer in general, but we realized this was our big day and the photographer would be the only person to capture it for eternity. Frank made us comfortable - so comfortable that he blended in and we often didn't even notice pictures were being taken, and he was professional, punctual, and reliable. More importantly, he takes amazing photos. He's creative and his photos don't come out looking like every other wedding or engagement shoot you see. If we had to do it all over again, we would hire him again in a heartbeat.

I was initially drawn to I Against I Photography because of the beautiful pictures I saw on the website. When we first met with Frank I realized that not only was his work beautiful, but he has one of the best personalities I’ve ever happened upon. Right from the start it was made clear that Frank is very easy to communicate and share ideas with. He understands what you are looking for and then amps it up further beyond your most ambitious dreams. His artistic vision is beyond belief. While other photographers we met with stuck to what I would call “traditional shots” you would normally find in a wedding album, Frank brought a new perspective on the classic style. One of the best things about him is that he does have this uncanny ability to find beauty in the unusual, work it to his advantage and what ultimately comes through is truly amazing. Frank is professional, punctual, and is easy to get a hold of if you have questions. He is generous with his time, not only making sure to get the perfect shot but also in his prep work. He scouted the best location for our Engagement photos, met us the night before the wedding at the venue to take stock of the location, and is not only taking our “Rock the Dress” pictures, but has brought in volunteers, a film crew (for a behind the photo-shoot video), and a makeup artist to help get the volunteers all gussied up in full zombie wear. Yes, you read that correctly, zombies. Frank contacted me to see if for our dress session we would be interested in being chased and eaten by zombies. All I could say was BEST IDEA EVER. Seriously, what other photographer would dare to come up with zombies? On top of all that, Frank is compassionate. He was on the phone, no questions asked, trying to find a replacement when my makeup artist didn’t show, even though that was completely out of his territory or responsibility. When my husband got severely ill at the beginning of our reception and had to leave, Frank agreed to meet up with us at a later date to go back to the venue and recreate all of the lovey-dovey pictures we missed out on. To find a combination of all the qualities I have mentioned above is really hard to find but Frank definitely has them.

Frank was an amazing photographer. We bought a package deal that included engagement sesssion and the day of, both times he showed up on time and with all his gear even back up gear. He even came to the rehearsal to figure out where he could capture the best pictures. Looking back he is definately one of my best vendors. Worth every penny, and I wish him all the success, he deserves it!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER!!

We had a blast having our pictures taken when we were in Las Vegas! We were very much impressed with the photographer's vision; from the choices of locations, asking for our inputs, and making the whole experience a very memorable one! The fact that, he took our suggestions and our chemistry together as a couple into consideration,made the collaboration more meaningful. The way he gets people to make fun poses is awesome! I could see that everybody was enjoying the whole experience!! I could not have asked for a better photographer! The pictures came out wonderful! In most of the weddings I have attended, I normally see photographers fail to shoot the magical moments before and after the wedding. But not this one! It seemed like he never took a break till he got all the shots! With his photography, I can easily recall every wonderful detail, from beginning to end!! I highly recommend this photographer! When I was trying to find a photographer with the same ideas I had about my wedding day, I was having a really difficult time. Everyone I found was so traditional and didn't have that artistic edge I was looking for, I searched high and low online and went to several bridal shows trying to decide who I would use. When I came across the IAI website, I was genuinely impressed! I loved the authentic style and different type of photos Frank takes and the way he changes traditional wedding pictures into art. That was honestly the first website that drew me in and made me feel like there was actually a chance to have the type of photos that I wanted. Not only is Frank artistic and cutting-edge in the business, but his services are affordable as well. After meeting with Frank and talking about both our ideas for my wedding, I was sold! I loved all the ideas he had for my big day and how excited he made me about the final product. When the big day came, Frank was absolutely amazing! He made all our friends and families feel really comfortable and we got so many compliments on how great our photographer was. Frank really worked hard for us and our photos directly reflect that! Frank from I Against I was an excellent photographer and I could not be more happy with my wedding pictures! He made sure to attend our rehersal so he could check out the venue and start to get ideas for some great shots. And he showed up in the morning with plenty of time to get some morning shots of the venue, me and the bridesmaids getting ready, along with some really great shots of the guys. Along with the requisite family shots (which turned out breathtaking) Frank saw a lot of opportunities to play with the day's light, the landscape, the boat that we were married on....I love going back to look on those special moments and remembering how special I felt. And not only did we get over 900 photos, he also created a beautiful book of highlights. I fully trusted his eye and am so impressed with the end result. I highly recommended him to anyone getting married.

I have the most beautiful wedding photos thanks to Frank and I Against I Photography. Taking photos the day of the wedding was a joy and Frank made everyone in my wedding party feel extremely comfortable. I was so pleased that we decided to go with Frank. Frank and his team are fantastic! I LOVE my pictures... theyre colorful, and gorgeous! Seriously couldnt be happier. Frank is very creative and will give you everything from classic shots to original modern ones, which was really important to me. It really made the pictures fun to do. The team showed up on time for everything. Through out my ceremony and reception I didnt even know they were there and yet there were beautiful pictures of EVERYTHING!

I Against I Photography was absolutely wonderful to work with for our wedding! They are competitively priced, completely professional and quality of service was excellent - far better than I have ever experienced from any vendor! Frank was personable with all of our family and guests (my new mother-in-law still talks about how wonderful he was) and got every shot imagineable. As a matter of fact, we have already hired them for other events! Quality and service you can count on!

I'm glad and satisfied me and my husband had chosen I against I photography for our wedding because first he was on time he made me comfortable when he was taking picture shots when I was getting ready. He had the best mind and creativity in what pictures he was taking you would never imagine taking pictures in my bathroom. He didn't miss one thing in the wedding he took every shot there is. Most of all is the silhouette picture that he took during the reception was one of my favorites with the lighting he had. We got married at a golf course and of course with his mind setting again he per-arranged to take pictures of us in the golf cart which was so fun. Last but not least the pictures had arrived after 2 months which the contract was mentioned it was going to take about 8-12 weeks. Best quality and pictures I've ever taken and I'm glad it was taken on our special and wonderful day. I recommended him to friends and family for upcoming weddings this year.
