A dream come true!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Hyatt Regency Princeton! The venue is absolutely beautiful with its open roof lobby & greenery inside! We loved working with Kristy Shawen so much. She was extremely friendly & gave us so much comfort in a very stressful planning time. She responded quickly & made sure everything went as perfectly as planned. Thank you Hyatt for a lifetime of memories and Kristy for sharing the excitement of our special day as family and making planning such a great experience!! I highly recommend!

Overall great planning/wedding experience!

We had our wedding at the Princeton Hyatt Regency in May 2023. It was an amazing experience overall and we would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a hotel venue! The hotel is large and spacious with a beautiful lobby, and having all our events in one place was super convenient both for us as well as our guests. We had an Indian wedding and the baraat location in the circular drive was perfect and a huge improvement from the parking lot, which is a common site for many other venues. The standout aspect of the Hyatt Regency is Kristy Shawen, the Senior Event Sales Manager, who also served functionally as our wedding planner and coordinator (and is certified in both!). She was very accommodating and went out of her way to help us put together our events as we envisioned them. Choosing the Hyatt Regency was a great decision and one that we would make again without any reservations!

Amazing Venue and Staff

This was the last venue we toured during our search, and we immediately fell in love with it. This place was recently renovated, and its huge lobby with koi pond, accommodating hospitality rooms/suites, and giant ballroom were perfect for our large wedding. They even had an outdoor tent with a beautiful view of the scenery outside. Kristy, the events coordinator, was very accommodating and her optimism was very appreciated during the stressful planning period. Highly recommend this venue!

Wedding events excellent

This wedding,, reception and Sangeet venue for indian wedding events is excellent and beyond our expectation. They provided lots of surprised complementary services. The hotel event management team is excellent and so organized. I would recommend this venue for the wedding events. Food from Moghul restaurant was excellent and guests were delighted.

Fantastic!

Kristy was an integral part of creating our perfect wedding. We cannot stress enough how amazing of a person she is! She went out of her way numerous times to ensure that our wedding went smoothly and successfully. It is clear that she has an unrivaled passion for her job, and it shows in the quality of the service that she and her team at the Hyatt Regency Princeton deliver. From the food tastings to the decorations to the accommodations for our guests and us, everything was carefully planned and executed with meticulous detail. Our wedding was a little complicated because we had both a Hindu and Catholic ceremony in the same day, but with Kristy's help everything went smoothly. Despite the hurdles that the pandemic presented, Kristy and her team made every effort to ensure that we had the best day of our lives, and we can say with complete confidence that we absolutely did have the best wedding we could imagine! - Caroline & Akhil

Beautiful Wedding Venue

Our daughter got married at the Hyatt in Princeton (Nov 2021) and it would not have been possible without help of Kristy Shawen. Over the past few months, Kristy and her team went above and beyond each and every time to make sure all our requests were accommodated. She was able to give us rooms a few days before the wedding to ensure all of the supplies were at the hotel ahead of time. The hospitality shown here by the staff was top notch and they made us feel like guests ourselves.
Our wedding was fantastic, and a good chunk of the reason why the wedding turned out to be amazing was because of Kristy. I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here and most importantly, have their wedding here.

Outstanding

We recently just had our wedding at the Hyatt Regency Princeton. Our plan was to have our reception in their beautiful Regency ballroom. However, 2020 had their own plans! Keeping our date was so important to us and this would have never been possible without Kristy Shawen (Sales Manager) and the rest of the Hyatt staff. We were able to have a beautiful and safe outdoor wedding despite all of the changes all while following the guidelines! Kristy is the kindest, most genuine person, along with the general manager, who made our dreams possible. This is a beautiful hotel with great staff, beautiful rooms, and excellent food. Our experience proves that the Hyatt will exceed all expectations no matter the circumstance! As the saying goes, the only thing constant in life is change and the Hyatt was able to quickly adapt with us during these uncertain times. Our perfect day is credited to the phenomenal hotel staff. We are so grateful and look forward to the next event with the Hyatt!

Perfection

Working with Kristy at the Hyatt was such a wonderful experience, she definitely went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable thank you so much!! Dream wedding!

Kristy Shawen and the Hyatt Regency Princeton have been an absolute pleasure to plan a wedding with! Midway through our engagement year the staff who we were working with had changed at the venue due to a promotion, yet Kristy stepped in and picked up every detail we had planned like she had been there the entire time! Her organization and attention to detail is something I, as a type A bride, appreciate more than I can say! She put any of our stress and worries at ease from the first point of communication and has been an integral part in planning the logistics of our big day! Not only Kristy, but all the staff we have met who will play a hand in our day have been so helpful and easy to reach! We are so lucky to be working with her and all the staff at Hyatt Regency Princeton! One happy bride and groom over here!!

Venue with an amazing friendly staff!

Kristy was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process! She was accessible, prompt and professional on every encounter that I had with both in person and via email. She was always answered my questions very thoroughly and quickly which made help make decisions quicker! The entire staff at the hotel from John, Cathy, and Julie are absolutely a delight to work with and are great people! I'd highly recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for an Indian Wedding!

Highly Recommend

Professional, personable, patient, and attentive.

My husband and I reached out to the Hyatt in July about reserving the venue for our wedding in November of the same year. Planning the wedding in four and a half months without a wedding planner would not have been possible without Artie Wassif. From the get go, Artie patiently guided us through the planning process, provided excellent suggestions, and made himself available until the day of the event.

Hyatt Regency Princeton is beyond efficient when it comes to large Indian weddings. There were a few hiccups with the reservation process leading up to the wedding day, but the staff was always available to assist guests and hosts with any requests.

Overall, we are thrilled to receive positive feedback from all of our guests who stayed there. Thank you for making our a big day memorable! I would highly recommend the Hyatt to host any events.

Great for room block

The Hyatt Regency Princeton was a unique hotel to use for our wedding room block. They offer many different room sizes, personalized website for your wedding guests and event dashboard so you can monitor bookings. The event coordinator Caitlin was super helpful, making accommodations as much as she could for us. We also hosted a day after breakfast in a private room and enjoyed the large bar staying open late the night of the wedding. Just make sure to reserve enough rooms in your block - this hotel books up fast despite its size!

We chose the Hyatt Regency Princeton for our wedding room block and could not be happier with how our wedding weekend went! We had about 13-15 rooms filled with my husband's family and some of our bridal party. We worked with Bethany Serena, who was so receptive to the needs of our family. She arranged for my husband and I to have a balcony room for his groomsmen pictures the morning of. When we got back to our room, we were greeted with a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a personalized note from Bethany and the staff. The morning after, the hotel did a buffet breakfast for our guests which everyone enjoyed. Throughout the time that my husband's family stayed, the staff went above and beyond to help them with any concerns or problems they had, and everyone raved about how beautiful the rooms and pool were.

Tracy Bendian had been very helpful and accommodating with always smile on her face throughout the whole process, months and months! Which helped us a lot. Our guests were quite impressed with entire upgraded facility, One minor glitch, the morning of the event Maître de didn't set up tables on time.

Tracy Bendian and her staff at the Hyatt in Princeton are a phenomenal team to work with. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and patient. Our wedding included several events. Tracy and her team worked with me, my now husband, and our wedding coordinators extensively to ensure that our big day was exactly as imagined. Not a single detail was overlooked. That weekend we had two happy hours, two ceremonies, a lunch, and a reception. Some events were held inside and some were held outside. Tracy and her team helped ensure that all events were done flawlessly and according to our wedding day schedule.

Most importantly, our guests were treated like royalty. The Hyatt team made sure that each guest was well cared for and had everything he/she needed. This may sound like something hotels should do anyway. However, I have heard complaints that many other hotels do not give guests a lot of attention, particularly when big events are taking place on their properties. Happy guests make for great celebrations, so I cannot thank Tracy and her team for making sure my guests were smiling and comfortable all weekend long.

Tracy and the Hyatt team work like a well-oiled machine. You can always catch them via phone, they are always on time for meetings, and they are incredibly quick to respond to emails from the event hosts and their vendors. When fast decisions needed to be made regarding our other vendors, I could always count on Tracy and her team to send me any information I needed from the Hyatt and quickly!

Even the pickiest and most skeptical people I know agree that the Hyatt did a fantastic job with our wedding and we really cannot thank Tracy and her team enough. I will recommend the Hyatt in Princeton to anyone I come across who hopes to have their wedding in the area. You will beat neither the price nor the excellent and very personalized service.

Tracy Bendian, Social Catering Manager, her captain, Julie, and the entire catering team at the Hyatt Regency Princeton, were professional, courteous, responsive and provided our entire family, but particularly our daughter, a magical event and wonderful memories for her Sweet Sixteen. The entire team at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton (Paula Bennet, Tracy Bendian, Michael Thomas, Randi Parsons) worked with us to create an amazing and memorable wedding for our daughter and son in law!
They were professional, personable, paid attention to every little detail and really made us feel like our event was the most important event for them. They may do hundreds of events every year, but we felt like we were the only event they were dealing with! They knew every detail about our event and took care of all our needs.
It was the best of both worlds - to have the well oiled professionalism of a large international hotel, and the very personable and personal attention from such an amazing team!!!
Thank you for making our daughter's wedding such a fun, happy and amazing evening!

As I have attended Weddings, I noticed that all the time Hosts(Parents) are always under stress or worries. My personal experience with Hyatt and specially with Mr. Anthony proved me wrong, I was pleasantly surprised that I never thought of anything (Even MR. Anthony) but just having fun of my son's wedding. Very Good Experience.

i highly recommend hyatt princeton. i had two receptions for my two children. one was in november 2010 (daughter's reception) we were so pleased with the hotel, especially with Anthony Valente, next year when my son was getting married, we went back to hyatt. Anthony was very professional, took care of everything. he listened, politely gave suggestions, was very cooperative. couldn't have asked for more.

We worked with Randi and Bethany to set up our room block for our wedding on September 19th. They were both quick to respond back to all of our questions and concerns, and helped to make the process of our guests reserving a room an easy process with a click of a button. The hotel collected and gave out our guest hotel bags. The suites we booked were spacious and clean, as were all the rooms our guests stayed in. My mother-in-law ordered a continental breakfast to be sent to the bridal suite Saturday morning. The arrangement of fruit, pastries, and canisters of coffee were perfect for all the girls while we were getting ready. Thanks for a great stay!

Best wedding weekend!

I had been planning my wedding to be at Hyatt Regency Princeton for over 2 years. We had signed the contract with the Senior Events Manager - Kristy Shawen in August of 2019. Originally, our wedding was set for August 2020, but obviously because of COVID, it was pushed out to 2021. We had SO many back and forth emails with Kristy about various things related to our wedding. I can confidently say that I spoke with Kristy almost every other month for at least 2 years straight. We were always in contact with each other. Fast forward to last weekend when everything came into fruition, everything about the hotel was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Some of our guests with small kids requested Jack & Jill rooms with their parents, and some guests who had reserved a 2 bed-room but were only 2 people, got king bed rooms, and some even got inwards facing balcony rooms. Everyone was so happy with their room choices. All of my guests raved about the way the hotel is organized and shaped. They absolutely loved the resort-feel to this hotel, and loved even more that there were only 4 floors which minimized the wait time for and in the elevator. The little kids LOVED the Koi Ponds, and adults alike loved walking all over the atrium. The check in process for our guests was a breeze & the amenities provided was absolutely amazing. My wedding was absolutely fantastic, and a good chunk of the reason why my wedding turned out to be amazing, was because of the hotel. I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here and most importantly, have their wedding here. You will not regret it!

My wedding at the Hyatt Regency Princeton was perfect. Anthony, the catering manager, was excellent. He always responded to my questions immediately and gave many helpful suggestions. Anthony was wonderful from the planning stage through to the completion of the event. He took excellent care of us and saw to our every need. This was the first event personally and third event as a family hosted at Hyatt. From the time I first contacted the catering division till the end of my event, I found the entire process to be painless. The manager was available every step of the way to guide us and provide practical suggestions to make our event the most enjoyable and seamless. The staff was very courteous and was responsive to any last minute requests. Thank you all.

Paula was very accommodating and made the whole experience as easy as she could for us. The Hyatt was recently renovated and it looks very nice. The ballroom is left to do and I am sure it'll even look more beautiful. The wedding was actually on 10/26.

Event was handled very professionally, they always made themselves available
to us- whenever we needed to communicate with them.

Overall, we had a beautiful reception. The planning phase went smoothly with our very capable planner. Guests enjoyed themselves and the food was good. The room provided to the bridal party for our private cocktail hour was exceptional. There were a few glitches; Guests staying at hotel did not get overnight bags until we called to remind the front desk, several guest tables were missing our framed donation note for our favors, and there was an A/V issue with our slideshow the night before the wedding. Overall a positive experience.

Great venue, beautiful atrium. Professionalism is lacking, both during the planning phase of the event and the day of the event. Not what I would have expected from such a big name and also with the amount we spent here.

Tracy was always hesitant to give us what we requested, which were all minor things. Beautiful venue, but professionalism was lacking. Lights were not on during the entire reception, other than 2 flood lights on the sides of the room. I am not sure who made that decision. Hard to reach maitre D during the reception which was extremely frustrating for a bride. Lastly, the creme brulee was served cold!
