Hyatt Regency Lisle Near Naperville Reviews

Yesterday, September 7, 2019 was our wedding at Hyatt Regency in Lisle. The venue is elegant and there were rave reviews by the guests. Excellent, abundant food with attentive wait staff. Maureen O’Connor is the on staff wedding planner, and she is extraordinary. We planned this wedding in four months only because of her creative direction. Through her advice we contacted a Pianist, DJ, and Photographer. Maureen answers questions in a timely manner, and we highly recommend her.

Beautiful venue, excellent hotel and great food! Maureen and her staff were the best! As the parents of the groom we wanted to entertain our guests between the wedding and the reception. Maureen suggested handing out drink tickets which keep our bar tab under control. Our guests appreciated the free drink and the Hyatt's nice surroundings!

I threw my Dad's 90th Birthday party at the Hyatt Regency in Lisle which basically took the form of a wedding reception for 140 people. From day one, Maureen O'Connor was responsive, patient, and delightful to work with. Her experience in the industry helped me feel confident I was getting the best for the money I was spending. When it came to the day of the event, the staff went out of their way to accommodate last minute requests that are inevitable for events like this and they did so with a professional, positive attitude.

Working with Maureen and they Hyatt team was exceptional. From the very beginning Maureen listened to my wife and I on how we envisioned our wedding. We got more than we expected and we visited a lot of venues. During the tasting we got full size portions. The food was unique and delicious. She was able to tune the piano in the lobby and bring it to cocktail hour. They allowed us to come on Thursday to set up for the Friday wedding. She spoke to her team and we had no problem coming in and out to set up. We we’re stuck in traffic with a limo service that was expiring and we still needed to take pictures at the park nearby, We called Maureen 45 minutes prior to arriving and she was able to secure a shuttle to take the wedding party back to the park. During the reception the team were ready for anything. I was wearing a white tux and they constantly checked if there was anything on it and if there was they had tide pens to help. The wedding was a success! I highly recommend having your wedding here.

We were very pleased with the Hyatt Regency Lisle. Gina our planner was very professional and the event was very organized. The location was ideal for guests coming from out of town. We worked with Gina and the executive chef for a quality menu that was perfect for our theme and the season.

My family and I had a great experience working with everybody at the Hyatt in Lisle and our wedding turned out PERFECT. Erica the wedding planner was beyond helpful and extremely patient when dealing with my crazy family. She was welcoming and accommodating, and always got back to us in a timely manner. The room rate for our block of rooms was affordable, the best rate we came across when searching around. I trusted the kind and hardworking staff to receive and/or set up from my vendors which included DJ, flowers, and cake. The hotel let us drop off reception necessities the day before to then set up on the day of. I can't say it enough, but everything was perfect. My husband and I ended the night exhausted, then enterd our panoramic suite to a kind note and gift from Erica. The morning after the wedding the staff YET AGAIN surprised us with a private buffet for the guests that stayed the night at the hotel. We knew ahead of time there would be a breakfast, but the fact that we had a private room and buffet was an added bonus and surprise. I can't say enough great things about our experience and amazing wedding. I would definitely recommend having an event here!!

I can not say enough about the Hyatt in Lisle! First of all, if you are looking for a wedding coordinator that is fast to reply, caters to all of your needs, and listens patiently to all of your ideas- then look no further than Victoria! All we had to do was bring all of our ceremony/reception items and she set it all up like I had dreamed. Our guests are STILL talking about how great the food tasted and how beautiful everything was. The pavilion was a perfect ceremony space and was different than just having it in a ballroom. It was very convenient for our guests to attend the ceremony in the pavilion and then walk down the hall for the cocktail hour/reception. We were able to continue the time with our family and friends after the reception at the well stocked hotel bar and in the White Oak room. Definitely look into having your wedding here if you are looking for a reasonably priced venue that gives you everything you've wanted with an AWESOME coordinator. I couldn't be happier!

I loved working with Hyatt Lisle. Our wedding coordinator was AMAZING. I had a lot of questions and she was always there when I called to answer them. She was also very quick to respond to my emails. Although she was not able to be there on the day of my wedding the two ladies that took over were AMAZING as well. I took over my box of stuff a couple of days before the wedding and just explained to them what I wanted and then on the day they had made my idea come come true and even more. Everything was set up perfectly and throughout the night they made sure that everything was going well and if I needed anything. They were wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them. I also recommend having a reception at a hotel because then there is no concern about shuttles.

We used the Hyatt Lisle for our guests to stay at for the weekend of our wedding. The Hyatt was fantastic to work with, they made it so easy for our guest to make reservations without any problem. The room blocks that they put in place for us were perfect, we didn't run out of rooms and everyone couldn't be happier. We also used the Hyatt for our luncheon on the day of the wedding prior to going to our ceremony and reception. Their food was excellent at the Chatfield's Restaurant located inside the Hyatt Lisle. Very nice lobby and lounge area, I highly recommend the Hyatt Lisle.

Brad was amazing and made sure everything went according to plan. He is knowledgeable and so nice!

Everyone raved about the food and the staff at Hyatt.

My fiancee and I had our wedding at the Hyatt Lisle and couldn't be more pleased! Our ceremony was held in a beautiful white pavilion-style tent on site, and our reception was held in the ballroom - we didn't have to share walls with any other wedding! We also had our guest room block at the hotel. With everything in one place, it was very convenient! The newly renovated rooms were beautiful, as was the pavilion, the ballroom, and the lobby. The hotel was only a couple of blocks from a cute park - we used the hotel shuttle to take the bridal party there for pictures. Brad R., the event manager, was so accommodating to dietary restrictions and our vendor needs, and gave great recommendations for meal planning, room set-up, and other ways to make our wedding beautiful and elegant. The rest of the hotel staff was very curteous and helpful as well - they even found forgotten items for me the next day, and held them until I came back to pick them up! Everyone commented on how nice the facilities were at the hotel - I was very happy with our venue pick for our wedding!

Wow, I never knew one venue could be soooo helpful! The Hyatt staff did every little thing I asked for and were extremely accommodating! I could not have asked for a better venue!

Our wedding experience started about 1 year prior to the Big Day. Our first wedding coordinator was very experienced, organized, and helped us get a good deal on our wedding package. We decided to do everything at the hotel including rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. We also had a room block for our guests; our wedding package included complimentary rooms for us and our respective parents. On top of that, the hotel had complimentary breakfast that was top notch!

About halfway through, our first wedding coordinator left the hotel and we were assigned a new coordinator a few weeks later. It was a bit of a rocky start. There was some miscommunication and delayed responses. Also, the accountant went on maternity leave (?) a few months later, so it was strange having to remind the hotel to collect my deposits.

The month leading up to the wedding, the catering manager (Maureen) and her staff really came through for us. They were flexible about what we needed and gracefully carried out our special requests, including allowing us to use their shuttles to take us to and from the Morton Arboretum to take pictures. Everything was taken care of and it ended up being a worry-free experience. Although it may not have been in her job description, Maureen even helped out with coordinating the ceremony (saved me the trouble of asking someone else). Also, kudos to the rest of the Hyatt staff for taking care of us and our 230 guests. Due to inclement weather, many of our guests' flights were delayed or cancelled. Some arrived well after dinner, but the catering staff was kind enough to save their meal and warm it up for them when they arrived. We recommend getting the tater tot/nacho bar as a late night snack; it was a big winner!

The staff at the Hyatt are amazing! Everything we needed or wanted they did for us. We were a March wedding so we got a lot of discounts. The venue is beautiful; we got married there as well. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who wants a reception at a hotel- it was perfect!

Overall, my experience with the Hyatt Lisle was AMAZING and would definitely recommend.

First of all, the place is gorgeous - there is a waterfall in the lobby! They only host one wedding reception at a time so the entire space is dedicated to your group. The cocktail area is open and beautiful, but it's nothing compared to how wonderful their ballroom is. We easily fit our 200 guests and there was space for more. My DJ and florist had worked with the Hyatt before and had nothing but good things to say about them and how well they work with vendors. The wedding coordinator there was absolutely incredible and I'm so glad I had her help the day of my wedding!

Secondly, the food was to die for. I had heard that their food was good, but I wasn't expecting how great it would be. Definitely get the chicken rice soup - I would have eaten that all night if I could! Even more than that, the wait staff were phenomenal. The waiter for our head table was very attentive and knowledgeable, and kept checking back with us to see if we needed anything. We ended up leaving halfway through dinner to walk around and visit all the tables, so he saved our dinner for us and even prepared it to-go so we could take it with us when we left that night!

The only problems we ran into were with the front desk staff. We had asked ahead of time for tall chairs and a full length mirror in the room where the bridal party was to get ready, and we were supposed to have this room from 8 am to 8 pm. We got to the room and nothing was there, it took multiple calls to the front desk to get what we needed. When we came back to the hotel after the wedding (5pm) they told us we had to move out of the room immediately. It wasn't that much of a hassle, but since it was my wedding day it was not something I wanted to deal with, and we had confirmed multiple times that we had the room until 8 pm. Overall only a hiccup in the day, but easily could have been avoided if they had been doing their jobs.

We had our wedding at the Hyatt in October 2013. We were thrilled and multiple people told us it was the best wedding they had been to! We decided to have our wedding at the Hyatt for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, Brad was absolutely amazing. He was professional, responsive, and tailored the wedding to our needs. I honestly don't think we would have had the same experience without him. We also wanted to have our wedding reception at a hotel to make it easier for our guests. The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. Our guests received their welcome bags easily and we had no complaints about check-in.

We had both our rehearsal, reception, and gift opening breakfast at the Hyatt, and the food was great. We had passed h'ors d'oeurves, dinner, and late night snacks. The open bar also served decent alcohol (no Skol vodka here). The table runners, chair covers, and napkins all looked gorgeous, as well.

One more thing, the entire staff that worked our wedding weekend was AMAZING! Pablo even saved our dinner (that my husband and I didn't get a chance to eat), refrigerated, and gave it to us to take home the next day. They packaged our champagne flutes, cake cutting knives/server, etc and were so accommodating to everyone. Honestly, the Hyatt really stepped it up and made our day great!

We booked our wedding block through the Hyatt Lisle. It was a super easy process and the complimentary shuttles made getting guests to/from our reception a breeze! We did have a couple issues with guests booking rooms but that was resolved quickly. Rooms are large suites, although a bit dated, but they served the purpose. They were accommodating to our request for a late checkout also!

We didn't end up going with this venue but I will swear up and down this was one of the best experiences we had in looking for a venue. Gina was SO accommodating and willing to work within out budget, she really made it seem like she wanted OUR wedding at the Hyatt.

The Hyatt in Lisle made our wedding day go great. They had a great staff that constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything. We held our ceremony and reception there. The price was very reasonable compared to other venues. Ellen was great as our wedding coordinator. She made us feel like family. She said from the time you start to see me till the day you marry you are one of my kids! Mike the catering director was also a great help throughout the day!
The food was great. My brother who is a chef even agreed. The bundle package they have is the best around. Center pieces and cake included! We couldn't have asked for a better venue. We wanted something different than the normal ballroom...we actually had our reception in the atrium room. It was so perfect!

Pricing was a little high for the menu, but Erica was great in working with us to get to a more manageable package that fit our needs. The pavilion was a nice added bonus, and a BEAUTIFUL set up. The food was also delicious, and a very nice bar. Beautiful hotel as well.

We worked with Brad the event coordinator. We actually ended up choosing this location because we loved Brad so much! Brad was AMAZING!! He was a true joy to work with. Some of the other vendors we used also knew of him and had similar feelings of admiration :) Part of the package deal is that the parents of the bride and groom get complimentary rooms at the hotel for the night of the reception. My mother actually needed booked a second room for my youngest brother. Well, the day of the wedding my husband ended up at the front desk for an hour with my sick step-father because the reservation for the free room for my mom and step-dad had been cancelled (I guess there was confusion because she booked another room). Because of this there were some planned photos that we were not able to do. The bridal sweet was spacious and clean and was equipped with snacks (cheese, crackers, and fruit). I did notice a berry that had some mold on it so the snacks were a dud. One of the bridesmaid's had a room on the first floor. Later in the night my husband pointed out an insect problem. There were a bunch of big black bugs on the curtains. The hotel was very accommodating in switching her room. But, Yuck! We had picked out Hors d'oeuvre to be butler passed during cocktail hour ... after we returned from our honeymoon we realized they were never served!! Obviously, it was not a big deal at the time since we didn't even notice but we were disappointed that this was something that was part of our contract that was not delivered. We also had some issues with the billing department there but that was handled appropriately as well. I would recommend Hyatt Lisle for your wedding! The ballroom is gorgeous!! The space for the cocktail hour is perfect! And the food was delicious!! All the things noted above really were small things and at the end of the day my husband and I both felt like day was absolutely perfect!! :)

The Hyatt definitely went above and beyond to help make our day special. There were a couple hiccups that occurred, but Gina took charge and fixed everything accordingly. If it weren't for Gina, our night would not have gone as smoothly as it did.
