Leap Day Wedding Success!

Everyone was great! Especially Jennifer!

Every request was taken care of, communication was always super fast and efficient....and Jennifer kept everything on track....from the first email to the viewing then the tasting, all the email details in between and all the way through to the reception! .

The food was AMAZING and the reception was more beautiful than we could have imagined!

Above and Beyond

We had to change venues half way through our wedding planning and it could not have been smoother. The way Jennifer was able to come in and seamlessly pick up where we had felt a bit defeated by our other venue. She was amazing and a joy and the staff was absolutely lovely. We had sooo many dietary restrictions for our specific group but the folks at the Hyatt didnt even make it a big deal. It was amazing. Our day could not have been more perfect and its all thanks to the Hyatt.

I can't say enough just how incredible the entire Hyatt staff, especially Jennifer Ambs, was to work with! She truly made planning my reception such a joy and breeze! From working with me to make my dream reception happen in my budget, to responding so quickly to emails, to making me feel at ease and pampered every step of the way, I am SO thankful I chose to have my wedding reception at they Hyatt!

Our son was married in Lexington, KY and we used the Hyatt Regency as our main hotel for visiting guests. Jennifer Ambs was wonderful to work with. She was always available for any questions and resolved anything I was unsure of immediately. As we needed more blocks, she quickly arranged for more to be added. She sent an update to me each week with number of rooms booked and by whom they were booked. The hotel distributed items from the front desk to each guest in an efficient manner and I would highly recommend them for any event.

Our wedding was June 9th. We were extremely pleased with our reception. The staff was very professional. My husband and I did not need to worry or ask for anything. Our guests enjoyed the delicious food. Haley and Jennifer were extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend The Hyatt for a wedding reception.

The Hyatt in Lexington hosted our daughter's wedding . We were quite pleased and would recommend this venue to our friends. It was important to us that our guest could enjoy themselves!

Working with the sales team (Jennifer) and the Event Team (Trey) from the Hyatt was a wonderful experience. I am a professional Meeting Planner & Even Manager so I work with hotel sales and event managers from around the US and Canada on a daily basis. It's so refreshing to find a team that exceeds expectations, is extremely responsive, and genuinely cares about making your event perfect. It's very rare to find that and the Hyatt Lexington has it! I'm so glad I chose them for the most important even I'll ever plan - my own wedding!!

The Hyatt Regency provided everything my husband and I ever wanted in a wedding reception venue. We initially met with Jennifer Ambs, were given a tour of the reception halls, and chose the Patterson Ballroom. Trey Moreau was our personal wedding contact. Trey was fantastic in every single aspect of our experience. He provided numerous suggestions that proved to be great choices. He was receptive to our late night texts, our countless questions/requests, and our numerous trips to see the venue. At our food tasting, he recreated our table set-up and we got to taste the available food items – the food was fantastic. As our wedding day approached, Trey was always a quick call away. When a small hiccup in our plans occurred the day before our wedding, he bent over backwards to allow for our reception décor to be delivered early and stored until the reception venue became available. On the day of our wedding, He sent multiple pictures of the reception room, making sure each detail was exactly as we wanted.

The Hyatt Regency front desk helped us by distributing welcome bags to our out of town guests. All of the wedding-day workers were very professional and we received many compliments from our wedding guests about the servers and bartenders. The Hyatt Regency provided everything we needed to make our wedding reception absolutely perfect. We would highly recommend this venue and their staff to any bride and groom looking for a reception area in the heart of downtown Lexington.

As a new bride on a budget I was very nervous when I first started checking out locations so once I started looking at the Hyatt and emailing Jennifer Ambs my nervousness slowly disappeared. Jennifer was very attentive to me and my all questions me concerns. She always answered my questions in a timely fashion and assured me that everything would be great if I chose the Hyatt Regency Lexington for my reception.
Boy was she right. I will tell you that after we signed our contract and our catering coordinator Trey Moreau was assigned to us I was still a nervous wreck, a little anxious, & so much more but neither Trey or Jennifer ever made me feel like I was bothering them if I had questions. They always responded quickly to any emails or phone calls and always accommodated me with my crazy work schedule and meeting with them. Looking back I'm actually not sure how they stayed calm with me because I can truly say that I believe I was a Bridezilla as things got closer. Several timelines that I needed to get to Trey weren't met when should have been because of family illness but Trey was always eager to help me by giving me suggestions and even checked with me on the weekend. The big day came and Trey and his staff were there to assist in anyway possible last minute things and yo just make sure that I was happy and it was everything that I wanted and asked for. It was that and so much more. The food was GREAT!!! The staff was GREAT!! All my guest were saying how great it was. Even one of my police officers said normally after a wedding reception they are like hope we don't have anymore to go to awhile but that the atmosphere, the staff, the food, & everything was great so they were looking forward to any other wedding. If you are looking for a great place to have your wedding and/or reception I strongly recommend the Hyatt Regency Lexington. I'm sure the whole staff is great but I'm a little partial to Trey Moreau make sure to ask for him as your catering coordinator!

If you are looking for the best of everything...your search should stop here! We had a wonderful experience working with the Hyatt, and especially working with Trey! He was professional, detailed, accessible, and always quick to respond. Not one time did I ever worry about how things would come together for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception. EVERYTHING was absolutely beautiful!! Trey went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. And it was! Additionally, the banquet staff was awesome and our meal selection was delicious! (Thanks Chef!) We honestly cannot complain about one single thing. We are grateful for the wonderful experience and service we received from the Hyatt and all those who worked with us.

Trey and Jennifer are the best in the business! When I say your search needs to stop here---your search needs to stop here!

This was a dream wedding experience! Jennifer and Morgan were fantastic to work with and helped me organize everything I needed to make my wedding perfect and fit our budget! (And we were able to pull it off in only 2 months!) Morgan was completely on top of everything before and day of the wedding. She was so quick to respond to every text and e-mail I sent her way. I didn't feel like she was "just doing her job" but I truly felt like she was committed to making my wedding a day I would never forget. Not only was our wedding magical, but the food was spectacular! Even better than we expected after our menu sampling prior to the day. Weeks later and our friends are still talking about how yummy our wedding dinner was. Finally, I must speak volumes of the wait staff the night of our reception. They were all highly attentive to us and our guests. If I had to choose all over again I would still choose the Hyatt Lexington!

We looked at the Hyatt Regency in Lexington for our wedding reception after the venue I initially wanted was not available for our wedding date, and I'm so glad we booked with the Hyatt! Trey and Jennifer were very easy to work with and very flexible. My wedding planner and I had a few doubts on some things, but Trey and Jennifer were very responsive and made sure we were completely satisfied. Also, they placed my husband and I in their largest suite on the 14th floor and provided complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne, which was fantastic! Just as a value reference, the hotel's minimum reception charge was less than other hotels we were interested in, so we didn't feel forced to add items that weren't important to us and the total costs for 140+ guests fell well within my budget. For a stress-free wedding reception, I would highly recommend the Hyatt.

We were treated exceptionally well from shopping start to the conclusion of our daughters wedding reception! Service was "top notch", the food was great, and the entire Hyatt staff the evening of our event were just "superb" We could not have been more satisfied at any other Location. They catered our event at the Lexington Center "Bluegrass Room" on July 9th, 2016. The folks like Trey M., Dustin, Lola and Jennifer were great to work with from start to finish throughout the entire process! They each exceeded our expectations! Yes, we can without any hesitation recommend their services and hospitality and we Thank them for helping our family and guests to enjoy such a wonderful evening!!!

The Hyatt is definitely worth checking out, regardless of wedding party size as they provide multiple options. The staff, especially Morgan Keller, the Convention Services Manager, were accommodating, flexible and made us feel welcomed each time we met with her. Morgan asked us detailed questions and followed up our concerns to ensure we had the best experience on wedding day. Pricing was very reasonable for the quality of venue, the staff, and the food! Everybody loved the food!

We worked with Stephen Tucker, the Catering Manager at the Hyatt Regency. He was excellent! Stephen was attentive, flexible, helpful in suggesting ideas, answered emails promptly, and his attention to detail was superb. We could not have asked for anything more in our months of planning with him. I think the telling story to this is when my daughter and her new husband were cutting the cake at the reception. They were having trouble pulling the piece out (with 400 eyes on them, watching every move), and they both looked up at the same time and called, "Stephen?" He was at their sides in an instant. So cute that they knew exactly who could make the situation right!

Jennifer & the Hyatt team were great. It was extremely affordable for everything that we got, a brand new dance floor, free room the night of, extra lighting, tables/chairs, linens, etc. We were more than pleased with how everything turned out!

Marie and the rest of the Hyatt staff were wonderful from beginning to end in planning and executing our daughter's wedding reception. Marie's attention to detail was outstanding and much appreciated. We walked away feeling the same joy we felt last year when we also chose the Hyatt Regency Lexington and Lexington Center as a venue for another daughter's wedding. A common theme from our guests when speaking about the weekend was the kindness shown to them by Hyatt staff throughout their stay in Lexington and the lovely venue. Everything was perfect!! The wedding coordinator was very attentive to detail and made sure that everything was taken care of. She was very experienced and was able to offer great suggestions to make our reception room beautiful. She took away a lot of the stress of wedding planning.

The Hyatt was a great choice for us!! Our wedding reception was perfect! The Hyatt provides a clean, classy and modern setup without being overly expensive. Both Jennifer and Haley took very good care of us from start to finish! I highly recommend considering the Hyatt for your reception!!

The Hyatt was perfect for all events in one location!

Hyatt Regency was a great fit for our wedding. Everything was in a central location inside the hotel. We had no problems maneuvering around the day of. Plus, the suite that was provided was an amazing room for getting ready. Our food provided by the Hyatt was great and our guests agreed. Our wedding coordinators was excellent on emailing me back with any questions or concerns.

Great experience. Worked with Trey and then Maria. Great transition btw them, loved the food tasting and the availability of Maria. I work nights and Maria was always responsive to me in the evenings when I am sure she was not required to be at work. The wedding went very smoothly and I could not be happier!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my wedding experience was with the Hyatt. ALL staff were attentive, flexible, and super helpful. Staff that worked our reception (servers, bartenders etc) were AMAZING. I was lucky enough to work directly with Trey Moreau in coordinating most of the day/evening. Trey exceeded any and all expectations I had. Whether I had a silly question at 3 am or a serious concern he was always quick to respond and make sure my needs were addressed. Trey had a genuine concern and desire for my day to go just as I had planned. He and the others at the Hyatt did their absolute best in making sure my day was perfect. And guess what?!?! IT WAS!!!!!!

The Hyatt Regency was an amazing place to have my wedding and reception. The unique services mentioned above are the internet and speakers they provided (at an extra cost) so we could bring in our computer and play our music and photos. It has a great atmosphere. There is a bar upstairs. It was cozy but still roomy. We had a coupon for a deluxe suite that night that was amazing! The catering was great! It was pricey and no outside food is allowed except for a licenced vendor such as our baker for the cake. The staff was very nice. The location was great! It was so nice to be able to walk and get pictures in triangle park. We also took photos before the wedding at the UK Arboretum. We had valet parking for more than one car that day and they opened two of our hotel rooms early as well as the ballroom so we could get ready! Parking for our guests was free and there was a discount for anyone who wanted to stay at the hotel that night. I would say a couple things made this not a 5/5...it is pricey, but still way less than most other places! Our original wedding coordinator disappeared in the middle of planning our wedding. They lost our coupon for the suite for a while and they found it again. I wish I had asked them to turn up the lights a bit for photos. Mostly, it was great and only small things were "bumpy."

If you are looking for a convenient venue in the Lexington area, the Hyatt and Lexington Convention Center are so central to everything downtown. Our guests loved the location and our friends were able to walk downtown after the reception. The staff was very easy to work with and understanding of all our needs. They worked with me on the catering budget and our catering tasting was an awesome experience. I had several guests tell me their service was amazing during the reception. It was also so nice having a hotel room so close to our reception to get ready the day of. I loved this venue and don't regret choosing it for my reception.
