Staff was memorable and incredibly accomdating
In 2018, my then fiance and I visited Water's Table for dinner and had an amazing meal with wonderful bartenders. They absolutely took care of us and we told them we'd be back soon. Shortly after, we decided to hold our at this venue. July 4th, 2019, we had a beautiful and incredible wedding all thanks to Joseph Colucci, the event coordinator who is an amazing person who absolutely loves what he does and will take care of his clients from start to finish. One gentleman who works at the front desk visited me on a random occasion at my place of work, and he remembered me and was very kind. I highly, highly, highly recommend this place to couples - the view, the facility, the staff, and everything about this place is magical. -

Fall Wedding
Perfect day and location! When the sun shines in Seattle and you are able to have a ceremony outside, how can it not be perfect! The dinner and drinks were just as we requested! Helped to be able to taste options prior and the service we got from Joseph was exceptional! Great team, beautiful venue! -

Joseph & His Staff are Amazing!!!
I had a budget and every where I turned to have the wedding wasn't willing to work with me. Except for Joseph! Joseph listen & understood what my needs were. Working with Joseph was very easy. The process was easy and the day of my wedding it was wonderful. The Staff was amazing and so helpful. There is not enough word to express my appreciation to Joseph & his Staff!!!! -

We toured the Hyatt with Jennifer when it was still under construction, she walked us through and helped us every step of the planning process, down to the smallest detail and made sure everything was exactly what we wanted and executed to perfectly.
She worked long and hard hours, even on the weekends she would try to respond to my emails. We were so lucky and honored to have been able to work with her because she is THE BEST! The Hyatt is so lucky to have her and that is an UNDERSTATEMENT!! We love Jennifer so much and can’t thank her enough! From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being amazing <3

Liz Sent on 09/02/2018The events division of Hyatt Regency Lake Washington is top notch. We worked directly with Joseph Colucci, who helped us plan a beautiful wedding and stick to our budget. We appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail, which was consistent from the day we met to tour the hotel up through the conclusion of the event. We looked at several waterfront venues in Seattle and Kirkland, but the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington proved to be our favorite for the following reasons: modern design and conveniences, fabulous views in all of the communal spaces, quiet surroundings (as opposed to a busy tourist area) with Pacific Northwest charm, reasonably priced hotel rooms. We had our ceremony with 60 attendees on Mercer Terrace, an outdoor space that directly overlooks the lake. Our guests enjoyed the opportunity to mix and mingle there after the ceremony, and at sunset, everyone was eager to take in the view and get photos against nature's backdrop. The reception room, like the terrace, did not require a lot of outside decor ( which was important to us). The space looks clean and new with a tasteful design and benefits from large windows that showcase the lake. In sum, we found this venue to be a great choice for entertaining in the Seattle area and the level of care and professionalism exhibited by the event staff allowed us to savor the evening with our guests.

They were extremely organized, answered any question we asked quickly (whether by phone, email, or in person), and were extremely attentive both before and during the event. The views at the hotel were amazing and the food served at the wedding is still being talked about. It was a fantastic experience.

Grace Sent on 06/28/2018My husband and I found Hyatt Regency Lake Washington totally by accident and I'm so glad we did! We originally put a deposit down at a different wedding venue years before the Hyatt was even built. We were actually planning our daughters birthday party and had been searching for local hotels in our area. After our first visit to the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington and seeing everything it had to offer, we switched our wedding venue to the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington almost immediately. I only had about 6 months from our wedding date to plan our wedding at our new wedding venue and I don't regret it at all! It truly was meant to be and everything I've always wanted in a wedding venue.
My husband and I got married at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington on May 26, 2018 and it was more than I ever dreamed of! Joseph Colucci, the Events Sales Manager, William Coward, the Events Coordinator and their whole staff really did everything to make sure we were happy and had our dream wedding. The venue, food (we absolutely loved our Caterer) and staff was even better than I thought it would be. Not only did we have our wedding here, but we've had a few our guests return, simply because they had such a great experience at our wedding. I highly recommend this venue! -

Joseph C was always quick with answering emails and getting us the information we needed. Everyone was always extremely professional and accommodating, and they worked seamlessly with all our other vendors. We always felt cared for and supported.
My wedding turned out to be more than I expected. Everything was just perfect. The location, the view, the weather and the food was excellent. Our guests were impressed with everything.
I will recommend to anyone who needs a wedding venue overlooking the beautiful Lake Washington view.

Wendy Sent on 03/16/2018Oh my! This Hyatt is truly a beautiful location to have a wedding. The view is so amazing for the backdrop for all our photos! The food was really good and the service was top notch. The event manager Joseph Colucci was so helpfull with everything i needed. If i asked the staff for something, BOOM! it was right there in front of me. Everythgin is so new too, I love that ~ So Awesome!

The hotel is absolutely lovely, our ceremony terrace was just gorgeous with breathtaking views of the lake, and the reception room was just amazing with its own private terrace for guests to enjoy. Joseph, our event manager was just wonderful to work with and very responsive and accomodating to our needs. All of the hotel staff, from the valet to the banquet staff, were so nice and helpful. A lot of the wedding was DIY so the help provided by the hotel staff was greatly appreciated by me and my wedding party. There is also a lot of great spaces around the hotel for wedding photos and also just a few steps away Coulon Park where you can get some great shots too. HIGHLY recommend this venue for weddings. -

Pricey But Worth It!
The coordinators are awesome to work with, flexible and extremely responsive. The Hyatt Lake WA is a beautiful setting for a Seattle summer wedding and everything is new and in great condition. Their wedding packages include so many items & services that you definitely get your money's worth. Overall excellent experience. -

Anthony Sent on 10/30/2017The overall experience was great and it was a wonderful wedding we had with them. I received lot of great comments from our guests and the venue have a wonderful view by the water. Joseph the event manager was awesome and he did a wonderful job taking care of us. During the event there was a false alarm from the kitchen, all the guests and everyone had to leave the building, but thankfully it wasn't too long. It was one of the disappointment issue I had. Also when we first we food tasting, we saw and picked the dishes we want, however, the vegetables were different than what we ordered and the portion of the order at least 1/3 smaller than the tasting day. I received lot of bad comments from our guests why the meat small is that small. I just felt bad that some quests gave us a good amount of gift but the serving wasn't like it suppose to, it was a little shame to myself. However, if not Joseph took great care of us and make things right, I would not give out a higher rating. Another big issue was that the valet parking, our guests supposed to get comp valet, but when they arrived to the hotel, the valet department gave some hard time to our guests and it was one of the reason I didn't give the highest rating as well. I work at the retail too and customer service is the number one focus, I truly think Joseph is the only reason I gave all 5, otherwise with the experience we had I think overall could be only acceptable with all those incidents. I have attached the picture i took at the tasting and the wedding day, as you can see the size had BIG difference.

When I started looking at venues online, Hyatt Regency was always my top choice. Seeing it in person then sealed the deal. I have very little negative to say about my experience. I had my dream wedding. But here is a list of pros and cons.
Pros:
- Gorgeous new hotel. Rooms are clean, modern, and luxurious
- Ceremony & reception locations are stunning, spacious and you have a variety of options for guest count
- All inclusive venue, includes all food, alcohol and cake
- Wedding package includes 2 nights in suite
- Food & drinks are top notch
- 8 miles from Seatac airport
- Beautiful beach park next door for photo opportunities
Cons:
- Expensive, but you get what you pay for, and I think overall its a great value for the cost
- You cannot use outside vendors for food or alcohol, other than the cake. They are very strict about no outside food or drink.
- No designated bridal or groom getting ready space. We rented a conference room for the guys and used our hotel suite for the bridal party.
- The Hyatt events team are not the most responsive to emails / correspondence. This is not a huge deal, since they require you to get an outside wedding coordinator regardless
Bottom line, if you want an all inclusive venue that is absolutely stunning, but outside the hustle and bustle of Seattle, the Hyatt is the place to go. Just be prepared to be on top of email communications. -
