Perfect Stay
We worked with Robyn from Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor throughout the 14 months of planning of our wedding since initial contact with venue. Even with COVID-19 shutdown and restrictions she still made sure there was communication and execute the wedding day. She was always professional and listened to all our concerns. We felt like the Hyatt Regency staff worked effectively and safely. They put in all measures possible to still have a small wedding of 31 people. Guests made wonderful compliments about the staff from the doorman, check in staff, and staff involved in the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Robyn worked effectively with all our vendors and made accommodations as needed. We felt like Robyn and the rest of the Hyatt Regency staff truly made our wedding weekend special and run smoothly. -

Great Hotel!
We used the Hyatt Regency in the Inner Harbor for our wedding in September. They were very accommodating and provided great service. They do charge per bag though to hand out Welcome Bags to your guests. -

Fantastic wedding reception venue
We just hosted our 200-person wedding reception at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor, and my fiance and I could not have asked for a more perfect weekend. Robyn, Natalie, Jacob, and the rest of the Hyatt's planning team were a dream to work with. Although I considered many venues in Baltimore City, I ultimately chose the Hyatt because of the team's flexibility and understanding of how to prioritize value for cost. Moreover, the attention to detail was fantastic: The team allowed me to incorporate special personal touches, like serving my mom's homemade wedding cookies; at the last minute, they were able to print a small description of the meaning behind our wedding favors on our dinner menus; they made sure my fiance and I were taken care of throughout the reception; and they helped me find ways to cut costs without cutting value, even though that meant decreasing the contract total slightly as well. Most importantly, the food was delicious and creatively plated, and I loved getting ready in the harbor view premier suite - what an amazing view! Any issues that arose were dealt with in a timely manner, and there was no hesitation in issuing an apology and immediate correction, which I really appreciated. Would highly recommend! -

Dream wedding weekend - thank you Robyn!
Robyn helped us organize an entire dream weekend from start to finish at the Hyatt. Both our big familes stayed the whole weekend for rehearsal dinner and full wedding celebration from Friday to Sunday. The Hyatt was great at working with the vendors and keeping all out guests happy. All Hyatt staff from valets to room staff greeted us with smiles all weekend. We hosted a 225 person party with more than enough great space for a big fun party. The Hyatt was perfect place for our whole weekend, no one had to leave the whole time. Thank you Robyn and entire Hyatt staff! -

You will not be disappointed with a wedding at the Hyatt! The views from all of their room options are stunning. The suite was perfect. Robyn and Natalie are so professional and easy to work with. All of the little touches, from being brought welcome drinks at the rehearsal, snacks and water throughout the wedding day, to coming back to the room at the end of the night to cake, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne were so nice and thoughtful. Top notch venue all around.-

I couldn’t have imagined working with another wedding extraordinaire. Robyn was absolutely fantastic, she very helpful provided suggestion where needed, was flexible where required. The team was also equally great! I would recommend Robyn, Natilie, Bryan for the Hyatt Regency Baltimore inner harbor for future events.

You can’t ask for anything more from a venue than what is given to you already by Robyn and her team. They go above and beyond literally on every aspect and gave us our perfect wedding. One major thing with us is it rained all afternoon on our wedding day and our ceromony was to be outside at 6pm. They had an indoor backup plan already set up for us. The rain stopped at 4pm and her team was out there wiping down all the seats and even the ground so there were no puddles. You would never even had known it rained that day it was perfect. Also your guests will love the view. Thank you to Robyn and her team -

We worked with Robyn on our November 2016 wedding and everything was perfect! Robyn was very responsive, pointed us in the direction of quality local vendors who she then coordinated day-of logistics with, and made sure we could focus on enjoying our wedding rather than worrying about things. -

I had a destination wedding in Baltimore at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor. I can't even express how much we LOVED the venue and the compliments we received regarding the hotel and the ceremony in general. Robyn Dammers coordinated EVERYTHING and was on top of every single detail. From my first meeting with the Hyatt staff to the day we checked out, we were treated as if we were their only client! If she had other weddings or events, I never knew it. Then there were the little touches, like making sure my elderly family had seating EVERYWHERE; checking in on us over the 10 month period (even after the contract was signed and sealed); remembering that I liked a certain staff member and making sure they were part of the day; being there behind the scene and making sure things went smoothly; and finally being pleasant and happy always! Thank you, Robyn, for making our wedding day as perfect as perfect can be!! -

The Hyatt Regency Baltimore was the absolute best venue for our wedding day! When my fiance and I started touring venues, we fell in love with the Pisces Room on the top floor - it was so unique and modern, and had incredible views of the city. We just knew that it was the right choice, and would be the perfect fit for day and our guests. Our first wedding coordinator was Lindsey, and she was so great to work with from the start. She made us feel super special in our first meeting and even had a photo of the two of us set up with little treats and champagne. She was super responsive throughout the year of planning, and always quick to answer any questions we had. Lindsey ended up having a due date for her baby the week of our wedding (of course!).. but that didn't turn out to be an issue at all! We met Robyn during our food tasting in October (wedding in January), and Lindsey got Robyn up to speed on everything. PS - the food tasting was such a nice experience and we loved every bit of it!! Robyn took over in the weeks leading up to the wedding and she too was just as responsive and quick to respond to all of the questions. I was so happy to get to work with both of these ladies!
Our day came so quickly, and everything went so smoothly. Most of the guests stayed at the hotel, and were so happy with their rooms and service. My bridesmaids and I had a get-ready suite, and the groomsmen all got ready in our hotel room. Robyn checked in with me as soon as I checked in to the hotel the night before. She also checked in throughout the day to make sure everything was running smoothly. The Hyatt also totally set up the reception room and made sure everything looked perfect with all of the random items I had given them. We got to do our first look photos on the roof which was PERFECT for photos with great views. The hotel is also in a great location to get photos around the harbor. I really have nothing bad to say about our experience with the Hyatt - it was the perfect! -

Robyn Dammers is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond to make your special day incredible. She keeps you informed and remembers all sorts of things you may forget. She is truly talented at what she does. The pisces room was perfect for our New Years Eve wedding. It has a gorgeous view of the inner harbor and is magical at night. Every staff member I encountered went out of their way to make us feel special as well as taken care of. -

My wedding took place in December 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor. I can't say enough great things about this venue and the staff, my entire experience with them was amazing.
The best part of my experience was working with Robyn Dammers. She is amazing!!! I sent Robyn several questions every day via email and she was always very responsive and never got impatient with me. She was very efficient and made sure my day went off without a hitch. I honestly had no need for a wedding planner with Robyn handling the details. She made great suggestions which made the event even better. I had been trying to decide between the Hyatt and another venue and due to Robyn's responsiveness I decided to go with the Hyatt which was the best decision. I always felt like I was the only bride Robyn was working with which is definitely not the case since she a social events sales manager.
The second best part of my experience was the breathtaking view. I help my wedding and lunch in the Pisces room which is on the top floor of the hotel. The view was amazing!!! I had nothing but positive feedback from my guests. Also since I had a daytime wedding, the light coming in from the floor to ceiling windows was very flattering and made my pictures look great.
The food at this hotel is also amazing. Again I had nothing but compliments on the food. A few weeks before the wedding we came in to do the tasting and they completely rolled out the red carpet for us and even packed us up meals to go home with. I was very impressed and was not expecting this high level of customer service at all. The service staff was also great, very friendly and attentive to everyone's needs. I would definitely recommend this venue for your wedding.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency. We absolutely loved it, it is a beautiful hotel and we can not say enough about how friendly, efficient, and accommodating the staff was that night. The views from the reception hall and ceremony space were amazing! The food was excellent and the Hyatt's event coordinator (Robyn) went above and beyond our expectations. I highly recommend the Hyatt for weddings/parties/banquets and general visiting.

We booked them in July for our Oct 2016 wedding and they have been so professional and amazing to work with. They did everything possible to show us they want our business. Our wedding coordinator, Lindsey, worked with us on our budget and revising the quote, answered all our questions, and overall has just been wonderful to us. She response quickly to emails and is always helpful for anything i need assistance with. I couldnt imagine having another venue! -

I would definitely recommend the Hyatt in Baltimore for a wedding venu. I loved the rooftop cocktail hour and the reception in the Picses room was beautiful. The Hyatt provided wonderful service throughout the planning phase all the way through the morning after breakfast. Robyn Dammers provided exceptional wedding planning services and advice. If you choose the Hyatt, you will be very happy. -

i have such high standards that I never expected the kind of five star service we received at this wedding. From the moment we pulled in, the valet, the bellman, the housekeepers, the front desk, the catering manager, the catering staff and the extraordinary sales staff...everything was above a level I have seen at the Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton. Lindsey Barton might be the best wedding manager imaginable and Ashley was amazing at managing the catering. Reggie made all of the AV flawless. I wish I could remember everyone's name. They went so above and beyond- even giving me reading glasses when I couldnt read my speech; setting up in two places because the bride wouldnt give in and wanted to take the chance of rain, removing pool cushions so they wouldnt show up in pictures with the wrong color; never a plate out of place; everything beautiful- I cannot say enough. Bravo!!! -

The Hyatt was the perfect venue for a true Baltimore Wedding. Robyn Dammers was such a pleasure to work with - whatever I requested she was able to accomodate. All of the details that I wanted and envisioned came out PERFECT. The staff were exceptional with the guests requests and treated my husband and I like royalty the entire night. I would recommend staying in the bridal suite the night before - it was big enough for hair and makeup artists to do their job. Before the wedding my bridesmaids and I took the bridge over to the Inner Harbor which made beautiful pictures! It is such a beautiful venue - the Pisces room where we had the cocktail hour overlooks the Inner Harbor (guests loved it!). The ballroom was spacious and pretty. I spent about $160/guest (included fees, open bar, cocktail hour, and dinner entrees) and got everything that I could have dreamed of. The guests raved about the food...I mean couldn't stop talking about good it was. Whatever you may want, I am almost positive that Robyn and The Hyatt can make it happen! -

My favorite part of this hotel is the view from the Pisces room and was the biggest reason why I held my event there. You can see the entire harbor from there which makes a fabulous and classy view for the guests. The staff at the hotel was so friendly and professional. Lindsey, the event coordinator was a pleasure to work with. She kept in touch with me throughout the planning and was on site the entire day of the wedding. If you're looking for a classy yet modern venue, this is the place to be. -

We had an amazing reception in the Pisces Room at the Hyatt, and I can't imagine having it anywhere else. We worked with Jodi, and she was wonderful throughout the entire planning process, from helping us to design a good seating layout to creating the menu to ideas for decorations. Our guests could not stop talking about the great view and also the amazing food. I definitely recommend the Hyatt Pisces Room! -

Having our reception at the Hyatt Regency at the inner harbor was the best decision we made in regards to our wedding. We looked at A LOT of places at the inner harbor and fell in love with the Pisces room. It is a wall of windows and all of them look out over the harbor. We were concerned at first that having a long narrow room would cause problems, but the staff were amazing at sending us floor plans and helping us arrange everything. I have to say the day of our wedding when we walked in it was more than we could have imagined. Shelley Billups was our coordinator and she worked magic. The details that the hotel staff put into the room (paper lanterns on the ceiling, extra tables for our photo guest book, and even just the extra mirrors and candles for the table) were all little things that made a world of difference. It is a smaller room (I think they said 120 guest max) but for a breathtaking view and a staff worth $100,000,000 you would be foolish not to at least check it out! -

We had the prefect wedding thanks to the Hyatt Regency Baltimore! Ashley, the catering manager that we worked directly with in planning our reception was amazing! She was a pleasure to work with and really went above and beyond her job duties to help us plan our wedding day.
The food at the Hyatt was amazing. So many of our guests were commenting on how excellent the food was at our reception. And the service from the people working at the front door, the receptionists at the front desk, the servers, bartenders, to the housekeepers was EXCELLENT. The Hyatt really is a great venue for a wedding reception as it is located in downtown Baltimore right on the Inner Harbor. We held a cocktail hour on the 15th floor in the Pisces Lounge with a gorgeous view overlooking the Inner Harbor. -

I can't say enough wonderful things about the team at Pisces in the Hyatt Regency and the entire hotel!! Ashley Succow, the coordinator at Pisces, was such a pleasure to deal with. Upon our first tasting we could not find a chicken dish we loved. She told us to return with a few of our favorite dishes from other restaurants and she would have her chef create the dishes with a little of their spin on it. Having that option and not having to choose just what was on their menu really opened up a lot of options for both us and Pisces. The food was delicious and the staff was incredible. The view? Ah the view!! A gorgeous panoramic that overlooks Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Our guests were astonished when they stepped off the elevator and entered the modern decored room with a wall of huge glass windows giving spectacular light and a spectacular view. I could go on forever about how wonderful this venue and the team were. You don't want to miss out on seeing this place for yourself!! -

We had our reception at the Hyatt!!!!! Our onsite coordinator was amazing and everything went according to plan. The room was set up to each of our specifications and the staff made sure we had everything we need. The food was out of this world (though we barely got to eat....we were to busy talking). I loved that someone made sure my husband and I were eating during the cocktail hour. I strongly recommending the cocktail hour in Picies!!! The view was amazing. -

We had our reception at Pisces, which used to be a restaurant but is now an event space on the top floor of the Hyatt. Our reception was *amazing*!! The space itself has one of if not the best view in the city, and it's more modern than most hotel event spaces. Everyone at the Hyatt did such a great job, we truly felt like royalty! Our event coordinator was great, the food was delicious, and all of the event staff were friendly and professional. They really went above and beyond to accomodate every request that we had, they even provided me with an extra room for the day in addition to the bridal suite, to use for my hair and makeup people. The event was managed perfectly down to the smallest detail, everything was set up correctly, and the evening went smoothly without any problems. They also decorated the bridal suite for us and stocked it with leftovers. I truly can't say enough good things about the Hyatt as a reception venue, it was definitely worth every penny! -

I am so happy I booked my wedding at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore! After my first meeting with Shelley Billups I knew I wanted to work with her in planning my wedding. She is so knowledeable, professional and friendly. Shelley was available to answer all of my questions along the way and I had a lot of them, especially as it got closer to the wedding date. She never made me feel as if any of my questions were a bother. During our tasting the chef came out to answer any questions and make suggestions on how things could be changed, etc. I felt completely comfortable that everything would be perfect and it was! Shelley ran our rehearsal the night before the wedding and was there the whole day of the wedding, right up until the end. She made sure everything ran smoothly. I didn't have to worry about a thing. My guests are still raving about the food and the service from all of the staff! We had a lot of out of town guests so having our ceremony, reception and brunch the following morning all in one place made it very easy for them. -

Our wedding was a blast, all thanks to our event coordinator Robyn Dammers. From the very first consultation, she was very involved with helping us figure out our vision for the wedding. She and the Hyatt team communicated with us regularly, and they were very organized and made things relatively stress free. The venue itself is gorgeous - we used the rooftop for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and the Pisces room for our reception. The views, food, and overall service were fantastic. It's better value than some of the other venues you'd find around the Inner Harbor. We also were offered add ons in our contract if we signed by a certain time, so definitely things are negotiable. -

We had the BEST experience with the Hyatt Regency Baltimore. Our coordinator, Lindsey, was amazing. She helped keep any anxieties I had at rest, she was friendly, and you could tell she genuinely cared out us and our wedding. We spent about a year and a half planning our ceremony and reception with Lindsey and the Hyatt and our wedding day blew my expectations away. It was more than I had imagined. Any issues we were having Lindsey helped us out with, she explained every little detail for us, and made sure we were completely satisfied. -

Robyn was great! When the weather denied me the roof top wedding I dreamed of she and my friends turn the small ballroom into a beautiful space that I was truly happy with. Thanks for everything. -

Robyn Dammers and Lindsey Barton shared the lead on our wedding held at the Hyatt a year ago and they did an amazing job. They worked with me on the major items and my wife on the details. My wife and I work very differently and Robyn and Lindsey did a great job of working with each of us in the way that worked best. Their flexibility in this regard was great.
The one bad experience we did have at the wedding itself was that the staff accidentally threw out some of our favors which we would have liked them to keep for us.
The reason for the 4.5 stars for Flexibility (rather than 5 stars) is that I would have preferred to have the option to bring my own bottles of wine versus paying the steep caterer/restaurant wine bottle prices.
But again, everything was amazing and we would recommend the Hyatt to friends (and we have). -

Had the most amazing wedding at the Hyatt. My catering manager, Jodi Premack was awesome! She was one of the most responsive vendors and was willing to work with me however she could to fulfill my vision. She bent over backwards and went above and beyond. And on the day of, everyone at the Hyatt was so nice and so accommodating. -

We had our wedding at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore. It is located across the street from the inner harbor. The location is perfect for guest and the view is amazing. We got married on the deck on the sixth floor. The set up outside was perfect for our fall wedding. Then we moved inside to the second floor for our cocktail hour which was a nice change in view. Then we had our reception up on the 15th floor. One side of the room is all glass windows and guests are still talking about the view. You can see the whole inner harbor. I worked with Shelley who was great. The day of our wedding, Shelley was there and willing to do anything. I can't thank her enough. We even had about six people back out a week before the wedding and we were able to do a brunch instead of losing a lot of money. Overall this hotel was the best place to host my wedding. I looked at over 40 venues and never second guessed my decision. -

I booked the Hyatt a year and a half out from our wedding. We went through 3 catering managers before we finally got one we stuck with (on Hyatt's end). The Hyatt was very accomodating when it came to the tastings. We weren't happy with the food that we orignially chose, so they invited us back with a whole new menu. 15 days out from the wedding, I get a call from our catering manager. It seems that the hotel double booked our ceremony space and we were being bumped, but the Hyatt had other options for us. We went back up (we live 1.5 hours from Baltimore) to the Hyatt 8 days out from the wedding to design our new ceremony space. At this point I'm ready to pull my hair out! The Hyatt pulled through and did whatever they had to make sure that our day was a nice as what we had planned. I will tell you, it was even nicer than what I had planned. Overall we were very happy with everything that the Hyatt did! -

Yes, book this vendor! Be sure to read your contract from beginning to end, as we got caught up in the initial quote without remembering the taxes and service fees. Once the day arrived, we were overwhelmed with joy and received so many compliments on the service, especially the bar tenders! The venue was beautiful, especially the outdoor terrace! Try to book in a warmer month because that space will blow your guests away! Also, you get vacation points which we used towards our honeymoon and a small getaway during the planning. Well worth the money! Thanks Hyatt Regency! -

The Hyatt did a great job catering & hosting our cocktail hour and reception. The views of the harbor from the Pisces room on the top floor are amazing, and the ballroom is modern and spacious. Our cocktail hour appetizers were especially tasty. Two downsides: 1) we had previously arranged for an afterparty after our dinner/dancing reception, and despite warning staff that it would probably get loud, they brushed off concerns until the afterparty itself, when we ended up having to leave the space a bit early; 2) initially, their coordinator wasn't THE most on top of it, so it seemed, but after we got our own planner we had no issues at all. I don't know if that was because of our planner, or because things got better. The staff seemed to do their best, and we had a blast! -

We had our reception at the Pisces room at the Hyatt. The view of the harbor is amazing and the room fit the size of the number of guests we planned to have. We had a brunch wedding and the food was amazing! Everyone one loved it. The staff that day was very attentive and did an amazing job.
My only concerns were leading up to the wedding. As our coordinator there was nice, she was not very responsive. There were occasions where several emails had to be sent to get a response. But, I do have to say, the day of the wedding she was definitely on point. So, it was well worth it. I could not have asked for a better day. -

Had my vow renewal ceremony for 135 people on 2.12.2011 ..... Very expensive and promised the moon but recieved minimal that was promised. Do not change your date once settled on one because they are not flexible with date changes for any reason.... Spent alot of money and did not feel like i was treated as well as i should have been foor as much money was spent !!!! Again do not change your date even if you are dying you will have to jump through hoops and then some to get any cooperation !!!! Or they might even make you pay more money !!! Do not recommend it at all !!!! Well if you have a wealthy family then maybe this would be a good way to throw your money away !!!!! -

Day of was amazing, planning was so stressful
I will preface this with the fact that at the end of the day our wedding day at the Hyatt was flawless and an absolute dream. So many of our guests were so impressed by everything, the cocktail hour space, the reception room, and most importantly the food. The biggest issue I had was the planning with them. When we signed our contract we partly signed because the event coordinator that was handling everything was SO amazing. Unfortunately, about 7 or 8 months before our wedding, she took another position elsewhere, and that’s when everything went downhill. We went in for our tasting and only the manager was available, the tasting itself was great, but almost none of the details that discussed during that time were passed on to the coordinate, so we had to then go over everything we talked about for a second time. Also, the new coordinator was so unresponsive we got an extra meal on our menu because they didn’t respond to my at least 4 emails for at least 4 weeks and I decided not to wait to hear back about my meal questions and just sent out the invitations with 3 meal options instead of 2. Then this coordinator decided to move locations, so we were then passed to a third coordinator. I will say personally I really liked this coordinator, but nothing got easier from here. Again, barely any of our previously discussed details were not passed on and there was still a huge struggle with timely communication. This time a lot of the issues were on the Hyatt because our new coordinator was clearly overworked and was not given the appropriate support. When the planner took over, she also had these issues. Then there were SO many issues with the bakery they had outsourced for our cake it was insane. I will say I’m a perfectionist when it came to planning so that may have heightened my issues but the Hyatt added so much extra stress while planning during the last couple of months it almost completely wipes out the fact that the day of was flawless. -

Not satisfied
The Hyatt Regency Downtown Baltimore is known to be a professional catering/banquet team. They are suppose to be experts when it comes to catering weddings which is the reason I had choose them. First, I must speak the positive. The food was excellent and the view during my wedding from the fifteenth floor was breath taking and out of this world. It takes family/ friends and along with all their compliments and for me to look back on my photos to realize I had an amazing wedding and a very beautiful event.
I understand that a wedding is a day planned and there are gonna be mishaps as the day unfolds. But I am very upset and disappointed with the carelessness of this team mishandling and misplacing my porcelain cake plate with our last name and date and sterling silver forks with our name engraved on them. These were main details of my decorations for keepsake and I was gonna reuse they on my first year anniversary. The sentimental value of these items alone will never be able to be replaced.
Center piece was broken by their staff no apologies and on top of it was sent back home to me with my decorations instead of thrown out. No broke glass sign on the box.
And my several people from my bridal party etched glassware got mixed up with theirs and was never recovered.
My main concern is the The event planner Joi never got back to me about the missing items as she said she would. I reached out to the Hyatts chat line the sent in a complaint, and I also wrote consumer affairs. And it’s been 3 weeks since my wedding and no one has reached out to me about my concerns. I feel like they are treating me like my wedding was paid for in full and my wedding came and went and my concerns are no longer their concerns.
My event planner had the wrong wedding date told me so her eyes are crossed from looking at dates all day. She reached out to me trying to trying to get me to add suites to get ready in which were already included in my contract. Just weeks before my wedding I was told if my DJ didn’t have a hot spot we may have to rent Wi-Fi. And also being told that my husband wasn’t gonna have a room to get ready in that it wasn’t on our $18,000 contract. Lol where was he suppose to get ready in the bathroom. Many of these problems were solved ahead of time and caught early on. All of these things are bothering me now because the thought of that plate is missing and the simple fact that no one is answering my emails nor my concerns. No one should not have to deal with so much for the biggest day of their life from a professional catering team. -

Make sure everything said is in contract
I can't begin to know where to start because there was too much that did not go right. May 2023 was supposed to go off without a hitch. First off when we started out with the 1st coordinator she couldn't get our wedding date right nor get the blocks of rooms at a timely matter. They were supposed to be available 1 yr prior it was not until 7 months prior which a link still wasn't working by the time they were only about 10 rooms of atheist 20-25 that were needed were able to book. By the time we reached our 3rd set of coordinators it was less then a month out. To top it all off 1 week of the wedding we were told we owed $16k how is that? All they could say was it was in the contract ( which it wasn't) it was error on there part that we had to make them see. I would never ever ever ever do anything with that hotel for the rest of my life. I requested a lot of special things but I wasn’t over the top. I wanted the chairs and the ceremony space on the rooftop to be set up a certain way I got a draft of what it was going to look like it was never set up that way I wanted the chairs to go in a certain direction it was not set up that way. The chairs were set up and a basic line formation, which is not what I wanted and was told I was going to get I didn’t find out about the chairs until I had to walk down the aisle and everyone was seated I requested to have our cocktail hour food for the bridal party sent to our rooms. They agreed to set up to go plates with hors d’oeuvres for us to be given to us and containers so we could snack on them while we were taking pictures that never happened, the ballroom set up for the reception. The walls and the reception were stained with giant water stains. What kind of trash is that? I’m sure it’s going to look wonderful in our photos. Also unsatisfactory, the reception wasn’t set up the way we said. They sat the sweetheart table in front of the door where all the servers come out to bring the food, so when the line started forming for people to take pictures with us they kept having to run into the caterers . They set up the room. Why would they set it up to be in front of or even near the door of where all the food is coming out of that was foolish, and the staff was pissed, only good thing I can say was The food. Amazing at the tasting, and reception. The chef is by far one of the best chefs in Maryland and everyone liked their food. we were told there was going to be one elevator operating just for our wedding people. Our guest wandered aimlessly around the first second and third floor trying to get to the six floor for the ceremony. Even crazier when people ask the front desk about the wedding. Apparently they didn’t even know there was a wedding happening which I find absurd. I didn’t let anything bother me on our special day, but we know we will never use them for anything ever again. Even a month after the wedding they were still having to fix the final bill because it was completely incorrect once again. Too many chiefs, not enough, Indians I have no idea what’s going on in the banquet section for them to continue to have the turnover that they have. We had 4 in a one year span. What you read online and what is advertised is 100% not what you’re going to get the food was amazing but nothing else was worth it. I wanted the flowers on the rooftop to be hearty and abundant. They couldn’t even do that. The foliage was sparse and limited. Some of the flower pots didn’t even have flowers in them. It was an eyesore. I requested a drape be placed by the door so that nobody could see anyone coming in and out of the doorway for the ceremony that did not happen either. When you pay the kind of money everyone else pays for their wedding at the Hyatt Regency you expect to get what you pay for, and we did not get it. We never plan on stepping foot or doing business ever again with Hyatt. Disappointment and anger are the only things that come to mind do not book this venue for your wedding you will regret it.-
