best wedding caterer you will find!!
Brandon, Erica & team were AMAZING to work with! We could not recommend them anymore, and had an incredible experience working with them for our wedding. The process of working with them was seamless and their food + execution was flawless. We enjoyed working with them to craft a menu based on our vision combined with their guidance on what is seasonal and made the most sense for our desires. Our guests were raving about the food for weeks. Every request they accommodated and fulfilled flawlessly and creatively. We couldn't recommend a family style meal with Hunt & Harvest any more. Our cocktail hour menu was impeccable and we loved every single passed item along with the stations. Their service was amazing throughout the whole night, and Brandon + Erica checked in with us + our parents throughout to make sure everything was going smoothly.
The entire menu was custom designed for us by them. We loved not just getting a standard "pick package A or B, pick 4 entrees from our options" etc. We loved really curating with them what we wanted.
The sliders and chicken tenders for the after party were a hit!!! -

We worked with Hunt & Harvest, the exclusive caterer at Lion Rock, and now we fully understand why, they were absolutely exceptional. The food was incredible from start to finish, and our guests are still raving about it. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly executed.
Our tasting with Brandon was amazing, he truly blew us away. His creativity, attention to detail, and passion for what he does came through in every bite, and the final menu on our wedding day exceeded even our highest expectations.
Beyond the food, the entire Hunt & Harvest team was a dream to work with. They were professional, organized, and so attentive throughout the entire process. Everything ran seamlessly, and they managed the weekend with such care and ease that we were able to fully enjoy it.

Best Decision!
Hunt & Harvest food is incredible, and was even more so on our wedding day! I’ve been a fan of their grab-and-go food in Millbrook for years, and knew they had to be our caterer when we got married in Ancram, NY on August 23, 2025.
All of the food was outstanding—we had a hard time narrowing down our favorites at the tasting! But more importantly, the food stood up on the wedding day and tasted exactly the same as when we fell in love with our menu items at our tasting. The corn & burrata ravioli was spectacular, and everyone couldn’t stop raving about the short rib with the Hillrock sauce (my husband’s family’s whiskey company).
The charcuterie grazing board was stunning, and our guests couldn’t shut up about it!
I look forward to partnering with H&H for many celebrations in the future! -

We love Hunt & Harvest!
For our outdoor wedding, Hunt & Harvest was by far the best choice! They were able to feed our ~170 person wedding with the most amazing food and drink. Simply put, Brandon and his team created a truly special dining experience for one of the most important days of our lives. The food was unforgettable. From the passed apps to the entrees, desserts, and perfectly paired wines, every bite was decadent and deeply satisfying. We didn’t need a separate catering option for the after-party. Catering superstars
We couldn’t be happier and more appreciative of all the care, effort, and talent that Hunt & Harvest put into making our spring wedding in upstate New York spectacular. Brandon worked with us to craft a menu that reflected our pescatarian preferences and included everyone in all the deliciousness, which was important to us. Our guests are still talking about the food, so many months later. And, we received glowing comments from those with dietary allergies/restrictions, who loved that they were able to partake in the majority of food offerings at a big event and not feel like an outsider in that regard. We'd happily throw another wedding just so we could hire them again. Brandon and his team are true superstars. -

Succulent Summer Repast
Our guests are still raving about the food at our daughter's wedding. Brandon created a feast both for the eyes and the stomach! From the corn risotto to the crab cakes to the steak, every bite was a delight. And the staff was quick, personable and efficient. We were matched with Hunt & Harvest when we decided to have our wedding at Lion Rock Farm in Sharon, CT, and what a fantastic situation we found ourselves in. From the get-go, Brandon from H&H was responsive, collaborative, willing to listen to our every whim, and above all, a true culinary genius. My husband is vegan, and we wanted to make sure he had copious options to eat at his own wedding. Brandon didn't miss a beat, and was able to make the most fantastic menu of vegan and non-vegan dishes that everyone could enjoy. It never felt like we were calling out the differences in the food - the side dishes just happened to be vegan and no one had to feel like they were an outsider in any way! It's a small thing like that, that makes everyone feel included and welcomed at a wedding. Multiple people came up and told us afterward that this was the best food they had ever had at a wedding - and one guest even said the smoked chicken was the "best chicken he had ever had in his life." Needless to say, H&H's work is absolutel restaurant-quality. H&H did our Friday night rehearsal dinner and welcome party as well, kicking off the weekend with a beautiful, alfresco, Tuscan-inspired dinner and cocktail party, which was also a huge hit. Make sure you get the nutella bomboloni on your menu! H&H also staffs the best servers in the business. Each and every server, bartender, and staffmember was so friendly, cool, and helpful at every turn. We could not be happier that booking Lion Rock Farm led us to Brandon and Hunt & Harvest - truly couldn't have dreamt up a better catering company for our wedding. -

So many superlatives to describe Brandon, his team, and the delicious food they served. I was first lucky enough to be a guest at a friend's wedding that Brandon catered. Delighted by the harvest table at cocktail hour, my jaw was dropping by the time I sat down to dinner... I turned to the table and said this is the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and then realized there was no need for a qualifier. Brandon serves the best food I've ever had, period. When it came to my wedding, he was the first vendor I booked. At the tasting with my family, my mom's first response was, "Well, this is guaranteed to be a great party." And it was -- with countless comments from guests asking who was the caterer?! But Brandon is more than a caterer. He is an expert wedding professional, especially if you're getting married at a private residence, with all of the challenges that go with it... His recommendations were flawless, and he went above and beyond to guide us throughout the planning process. Follow all of his advice, is my advice :) -

WHERE DO I START? Brandon + Hunt & Harvest is essentially why my husband & I picked Lion Rock (they are the exclusive vendor). What amazing attention to detail + they worked with us to curate our DREAM menu - an asian-inspired theme using the freshest hudson valley ingredients for friday night (they had never done this before - but worked with us to creatively come up with a menu) + traditional farm to table on our wedding night. Their beautiful charcuterie board alone is worth hiring them for!!
Our friends & family proactively said it was the best wedding food they have had - like a Michelin farm to table restaurant! -

My wife and I got married at Lion Rock Farm in Sharon, CT last month and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Hunt and Harvest, led by Brandon Scimeca, was one of the big reasons why. He and his team are the epitome of professionalism and class. But let me tell you about the food. When we had our tasting, it was our plan to have a first course and entree. But then he brought out the Mushroom Risotto. It was so good that we had to add a course, and Brandon was totally on board. He is a pleasure to work with, and provides an immensely stacked array of options for the reception, as well as hors d'oeuvres. My wife is a vegetarian, and we were able to create a perfect mix of vegetarian options along with plenty of food for our carnivorous guests. Everything was served in a timely fashion, and the cocktail hour harvest station along with the passed canapés table and dessert bites left nobody nobody hungry at the end of the night! If you’re looking to have the PERFECT wedding, look no further. Hunt and Harvest is above and beyond anything you could imagine. -

Hunt and Harvest came recommended by my wedding planner, Stephanie Holst-Grubbe, and they did not disappoint. The menu is far from your typical catering menu - it’s modern, locally sourced, and it makes your mouth water just reading it! While not cheap, the food will blow your guests away. I had a family member who kept saying, “don’t spend money on the food! No one will remember it!” Well, they ate their words, literally, and the next day sheepishly admitted they were wrong in this case. Everyone remembered the food - particularly Brandon’s delicious short ribs. I should also note that my wedding was this fall in the middle of the pandemic (we couldn’t postpone because of a family health concern) - Brandon was completely on top of all the local Covid guidelines and worked with us to figure out how to safely serve food and drinks to a crowd that was fairly anxious about Covid! I feel so lucky to have had him as my caterer. -

Where to even begin.
Words cannot fully express how grateful we are to have had Brandon cater our wedding; he is an exceptional chef and we cannot imagine a better catering team.
Food is very important to us so we knew from the start that we needed a caterer who would leave a lasting impression. We had expressed to Brandon that we wanted some of our favorite dishes to be incorporated into our special day. He curated the most incredible menu for us - from the hors d’oeuvres to dinner and dessert, every single dish was absolutely phenomenal. Our guests are still raving about the food, and even some of our toughest critics have expressed how delicious everything was.
Brandon was so great to work with in general, and was so helpful with guiding us through all of the COVID-related changes. He and his team played an integral part in the day running smoothly, despite all of the restrictions in place.
To say we were stressed out with wedding planning during the COVID pandemic is an understatement, but one thing we took solace in was knowing that the food would be incredible - Brandon and his team truly delivered.
We cannot recommend Hunt & Harvest enough! -

Delicious and creative farm-to-table dishes with bold, beautiful displays
I heartily endorse Brandon of Hunt-Harvest for a wedding of food your guests will rave about! From the beginning, Brandon was supportive in helping to develop the menu for my daughter's wonderful wedding. They wanted a creative, healthy mix of flavors and textures. As all good chef's will tell you, it starts with quality ingredients. This is where Hunt-Harvest shines; They don't skimp on anything. The highlight of the Cocktail Hour was an amazing Harvest Table. Our guests were amazed by the variety of food choices and their quality. He also expertly executed a Taco and a Raw Bar. And then came the plated dinners, which were served hot to 250 guests. This was all done at a Hudson River farm where a temporary kitchen was constructed. Brandon excels at this! If you're looking for delicious and innovative dishes to wow your guests, definitely talk to Brandon. He's flexible and accommodating. Good luck to you! -

Best food, best weekend, best person

We had an amazing wedding weekend for so many reasons. But as far as we can tell, the highlight for all of our guests was the food. Post wedding, almost every single person commented on how exceptional the food was. I don’t understand how Brandon is able to cook food so amazing for almost 200 people but he can and it’s great. He catered our welcome BBQ, our Saturday reception, and our Sunday brunch. Each meal was fantastic in its own special, unique way. Everyone knew he was doing our whole weekend and by Sunday, it was clear that our guests were far more interested in tasting his food than talking to us!
Brandon did an elevated BBQ for our Friday night dinner that was some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had. There was brisket and brick chicken, as well as incredible sides (mac and cheese,, grilled corn on the husk, coleslaw etc.). He threw in some exceptional, thoughtful touches (such as pickled blueberries) and we asked him to recreate a hot sauce that is special to us, which he executed flawlessly. Brandon is so creative and caring about his food, and it really shows - not just in the taste, but also in his beautiful presentation. We ate it all - everyone had at least seconds if not thirds.
The reception food was a completely different vibe, but also perfect - showcasing how versatile he is. Brandon made one of the most amazing duck dishes I have ever tasted (not to mention completely Instagram worthy – if you are into that kind of thing). We did both a main, as well as some family-style sides - largely because we wanted everyone to be able to taste multiple of his creations. Our cocktail hour was filled with our favorite dishes in perfect, bite sized forms. His harvest table looks like something out of a movie. And our Sunday brunch was a gorgeous spread of bagels, lox, yogurt, egg sandwiches and fruit (yellow watermelon??? Who knew, but it was exceptional). Brandon’s food really does make the soul feel good. It energized everyone through the weekend.
But it’s not just his food that’s amazing - we loved getting to know him over the course of planning. He is a wonderful person, and a creative thinker - willing to consider anything. He will tell you if something is a bad idea and come up with original recipes if you want something special. Getting to see how he thinks about food and the whole catering process was a definite highlight of planning the wedding. In fact, one of the reasons we chose Lion Rock Farm was because we knew we would get to work so closely with him.
You will not find a more creative, compassionate caterer. If you are in need of extra wedding guests, and have Brandon as your caterer, please call us because we would be DELIGHTED to have any excuse to eat his food again. -

A Whole Other Level Above Everyone Else
Hunt and Harvest hit a home run for our wedding. My wife is a professional chef at a high-end restaurant in NYC. She is very critical about all aspects of the culinary arts - quality, ingredients, flavor profile, presentation, service... We wanted our guests to feel like they were having an alfresco summer gathering somewhere in Tuscany with the food being the centerpiece. Our friends and family had high expectations for the food.
Brandon and his team were so easy to work with, and they delivered on all levels. All our guests said that the food was the best they've had compared to any wedding or party they've been to. It's been over a month since our wedding and our friends are still talking about the food. The passed hors devours and the market table were a huge hit. The 4-course dinner was just magical. People were saying, "even their coffee is amazing." That just goes to show that Hunt and Harvest put a lot into what they do, and they do it well.
Brandon's team operated at such a high level of efficiency. I am still amazed at what they were able to accomplish, especially since our wedding venue had no running water or electricity.
My wife and I had done a lot of research on food caterers (social media, reviews, websites, etc) and had a few tastings but no one came close to Hunt and Harvest. They made our special day so magical and exceeded all expectations, especially my wife's. -

Hunt & Harvest provided exceptional food for our wedding, and Brandon was a pleasure to work with. My wife and I felt lucky to work with a bunch of great vendors, but Brandon was unsurpassed among them in his professionalism, kindness, good ideas, and attention to detail.
Before we settled on Hunt & Harvest, my wife and I made a list of the 150 or so caterers we thought might be possible for our wedding in Kent, CT -- everyone from Westchester County to the Berkshires and from Hudson Valley to the Boston suburbs. We narrowed things down by looking at websites and Instagram pages, scrutinized online reviews, scheduled about a dozen calls, and finally solicited proposals. At the end of this process we selected Brandon because his food looked amazing, because everyone we could find who’d worked with him seemed to have a great experience, and because we thought that the prices seemed like a good value for the quality of his offerings.
I’m happy to report that our experience was consistent with those first impressions. Brandon really took the time to understand what we like and what we were hoping for from the food at our wedding. Our initial tasting blew us away, and was followed by additional conversations to sort out passed hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and late-night food. Throughout the planning process, he asked great questions, was always very available for advice, and made us feel like we were in great hands and had nothing to worry about on the food side of things. Brandon also went above and beyond, connecting us to a mixology specialist, handling all sorts of complicated logistics about some pies we had brought down from Vermont, helping us fine-tune our order with rental company, formulating a plan for our vegan guests, and ensuring that all the dozens of details and logistics for our wedding day went off without a hitch.
We also felt very well taken care of as bride and groom on the wedding day - Brandon saw to it that we had a chance to try all of the passed hors d'oeuvres, our table was first to be served during dinner (followed by our parents!), and he checked in with us throughout the night to be sure we were happy and ask if there was anything we needed, without detracting from the time we wanted to spend together and with our guests.
At the end of the day, I would say that if food is important to you and Hunt & Harvest is within your budget, you absolutely won’t regret choosing them. My wife and I also thought that it was worth investing the time to really communicate to tell Brandon what we like and what we wanted for our wedding, since it meant that on the big day we wound up with a set of food that delighted us.
Oftentimes food at a wedding can feel generic and tired, but Brandon stays on top of food trends and exciting ingredients, all while creating a meal that less adventurous eaters will still enjoy. We’ve also gotten a ton of compliments about the food at our wedding being the best food folks have had at a catered event, and it remains one of our favorite memories of the day. Hunt and Harvest was easy and comforting to work with, and really came through in the end. -

Creative, beautiful, and delicious food!
Brandon and Hunt & Harvest were tremendous. They catered our entire wedding weekend—rehearsal dinner, reception, brunch—and all of the food was creative, beautiful, and (most importantly) really delicious! Working with Brandon during the planning process was also a great experience. He was so open minded, collaborative, and enthusiastic about our ideas; he helped us create a really unique menu for every meal with food that was just perfect. Jessie Sent on 10/14/2018Oh man - we had such a lucky turn of events TWO WEEKS before our wedding that allowed Brandon and his team to swoop in and help save our wedding day. As our initial wedding venue failed to finish construction on time, we were left scrambling last minute to find a venue and caterer for our upstate wedding. Our wedding planner was very excited when she found out Brandon was available that day; once we met him we quickly realized why. Brandon traveled from Connecticut on a day's notice to meet with us at our initial visit (which was simultaneously our final walk thru) to our newly picked venue 12 days before the event. Even on such short notice, we were able to choose from a variety of menu items for cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert, one sounding more delicious than the next. Our wedding was May 5th, so we threw out the idea of some Cinco de Mayo menu influence. Knowing that beggars can't be choosers this late in the game, I was ecstatic when Brandon effortlessly asked us what kind of tacos we preferred, if we'd like red or white sangria, etc. (This was in stark contrast to our last caterer who was struggling with the idea of even chips and salsa at cocktail hour so we had previously given up on the Mexican idea.) After months of stressing out about our previous venue and their caterer, we were finally excited about our wedding plans - as we should have been all along! Brandon was able to gather staff, equipment, and local, fresh ingredients in this short period of time, ultimately producing a meal that was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Our guests (many NYC food snobs, other tough critics included a handful of older folk and a few picky little kids) raved about our wedding food, surprised that "wedding food" could actually taste so good. We also were told by several people that the waitstaff were wonderful too. Pro-tip: Make sure to eat at your wedding when you book Hunt & Harvest! If Brandon had a restaurant, we'd be regulars.

Not only did he come up with our AMAZING California inspired menu with passed deserts (macaroon and mini s'mores cakes being my absolute favorite!). He also assisted me in finding local vendors and gave suggestions for the overall design of my reception and tables. Everyone was blown away by the food and staff and continued to come up to me throughout the night to let me know how wonderful it was. The short ribs were an absolute hit! I cannot say enough good things about Hunt & Harvest. Everything was so delicious and we received so many comments about how this was the best food people had ever had at a wedding. One of my friends said, and I quote, “I was sad eating the blood orange salad because I knew I’d never get to eat it again.” From creating a special borscht and pierogi passed hor d'oeuvre to honor my now husbands polish heritage, to creating the most delicious, seasonal menus it truly was so special. In particular, we had one guest with severe allergies who said this was the first wedding she had ever been able to eat at (including her daughters last month) and that her meal was fantastic. She was so over the moon. We couldn't have had a better experience with Hunt & Harvest and I couldn't recommend them more highly.
