A true professional and artist

Hudson River Photography was one of the best photography experiences we could have asked for on our wedding day. Diane was extremely organized, thoughtful, and enjoyable to work with. She spent time with us to plan how we wanted the wedding day to look, and preparing her for any special moments we wanted her to capture. We felt really good about deciding to work with her, knowing that we would have photos that looked beautiful and reflected us as a couple. We had a large wedding, with bridal party and family as well, and she kept us on time and got all the shots we wanted. She also prioritized taking natural-looking shots from our wedding day, that captured special moments without taking too much time posing from our day. We received our photos about 3 weeks after our wedding, and we were so happy with them. She is a real professional and an artist, and so knowledgeable, communicative, and thorough. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose to work with her again in a heartbeat.

The Perfect Wedding Photographer

How lucky to have met you! Diane at Hudson River Photographer was able to immortalize the magic of such a special day and make great moments last forever. Our priority was to find a professional close, friendly, and with whom we felt at home. With Diane we found much more; someone who loves their profession, who is willing to listen, and, above all, humble and affectionate, able to always capture the emotion and fun of everyone, without losing the spontaneity we value so much. We married at the Basilica, Hudson and our pictures were breathtaking and delivered within a matter of weeks. Beautiful photographs!

We are so thankful that we chose Diane as our wedding photographer! Choosing a photographer was one of the most difficult decisions we made in choosing vendors, because we wanted someone who would help us capture the happiness and romance of our day by photographing real moments, rather than staged poses. Diane's work meets this description exactly, and her beautiful photos exceeded our expectations.

Diane's skill and versatility were especially valuable in our case because we had to switch our wedding plan to a small, socially distanced celebration after COVID-19 hit. Diane captured the magic and love of our wedding perfectly, all the while maintaining social distancing and despite the fact that our guests/wedding party were wearing masks -- truly amazing. We are so grateful for her help in capturing the day so perfectly, not just for us but for our family and friends who could not attend. Highly highly recommend Diane!

Beautiful Work By a Total Pro

We could not have been happier we chose Diane as our wedding photographer. Her work is beautiful but also authentic — no cheesy, prom-style style images here. She captured our day perfectly, and she was somehow everywhere without us even noticing her once the party got going. Even more impressive, she had a preview set of images to us within days, and the full set in a matter of weeks.

I gave Diane five stars flexibility — but I wouldn't necessarily call her flexible. She's a real pro, and she knows exactly what she's doing and how to do it well. She was totally accommodating, but also she made sure that she got what she needed from us. She was exactly as flexible and inflexible as she had to be in order to do her job well.

Our Catskills wedding was perfect, but, as city people, we also realized that lot of vendors worked on what we termed "upstate time." Calls weren't always returned, follow ups didn't always arrive. Except with Diane. You'll wish everyone you work with is as organized, responsive, and competent as Diane. She's the best.

Incredible Photography

If a picture is worth a 1000 words, than we have 1 million wonderful words from our wedding, thanks to Diane! We had such a terrific experience working with Diane from the very beginning. While we didn’t do an engagement shoot to “practice” for the big day, Diane spoke with us multiple times on the phone to get to know us better and to answer all of our questions - we felt so confident and comfortable that she would be the perfect fit for us. We found Diane through the recommendation of The Garrison, and through friends whose photos of hers we saw and loved - this made her an easy choice. Diane and her assistant for our wedding, John, knew exactly how to handle our bridal party and families, and were great at giving us all direction in order to get the perfect shots. We were so thrilled to see our highlight slideshow and even more overwhelmed by the incredible online album we received with the whole day’s images. Each and every photo was edited to perfection, and so creative. We’re looking forward to picking out our shots for the final album - but we know it will be so hard to narrow down to our favorites! Thanks again for an awesome experience.

A Photographer Who Got Us

Hudson River Photographer was the perfect addition to our almost all women vendor team.
We were initially attracted to the style of Hudson River Photographer. Then we were captivated more by the diversity of couples in Diane’s body of work. Then, when we met Diane, the deal was sealed. We knew we wanted her to capture our day. She not only captured our energy and vibe, but most of all, I swear you can feel love when you look at our photos. We have all the usual photos you want of your wedding but we also have all the photos of the the sweet moments, photos of our loved ones coming down the aisle looking like celebrities, folks on the dance floor looking like they are living their best lives and our pups watching their pawrents during the ceremony. Diane captured a photo of our niece admiring herself in a mirror. That’s the kind of eye and photographer who’s photos we will cherish for our lifetime.
Our magical outdoors first look was thwarted by 40 mph winds and rain but no problem for Hudson River Photographer. She found a spot inside that worked perfectly. When Diane said to me ‘Katie, this looks like a Vermeer painting’ I swear I almost lost it with pure joy.
When we were wrangling our wedding parties and family Diane stood in the mud for 30 minutes while she got the perfect shots. She kept everyone on task and was time efficient which was greatly appreciated. I also appreciate the feedback and coaching Diane provided to make sure we looked our best. She wasn’t shy to tell me to lower my head when I thought I looked like a model but looked insane.
The integrity, professionalism and pure artistry Diane and her team poses was exceptional. Absolutely worth the investment. The only negative is I can’t possibly choose a limited number of photos for our album!

Simply the best

Diane did an AMAZING job photographing our wedding. She was able to capture the love and energy we felt the night of our wedding in every single picture. Diane’s kind and easy nature made photographing the day simple. When going through the photographs, my husband and I had difficulty selecting our favorites for the album because they were all so incredible. Diane seamlessly blended into the crowd at our wedding and by doing so she was able to capture the most incredible moments. The preview video she then creates with the photos brought us to tears! We have watched it over and over and over again! Her work is incredible! We also were lucky enough to use Diane for our engagement photos. She met us and instantly chose the most perfect location for the photographs. Diane is the best and we HIGHLY recommend her to capture not only the photographs for your wedding but also the emotions behind them.

Money Well Spent

Diane is a total pro and a joy to work with. As a lesbian couple, we were looking for either a lesbian photographer or a photographer who’d shot lesbian weddings in which both brides were wearing dresses. (We weren’t interested in being put in butch-femme poses that mimic heterosexual couples’ traditional wedding shots.) With DIane, we got both. She was truly everything we were looking for—and she defied expectations.

What stood out to us in Diane’s portfolio were her candid photos—the way she captured the emotion and feeling of an event with a still image. When we look back on our photos, we can hear the music and laughter and feel the warmth and joy of the day. Diane really did an incredible job.

The day of the wedding, we were off to a bit of a late start with figuring out a two-bride first look, but Diane got everything back on track. She moved quickly and gave good direction, without being too demanding. She was assertive, but also managed to make the experience feel laid back. We were truly grateful for our moments with her away from the crowd that day. She made us laugh and helped us take a breath. But during the ceremony and reception, we barely remember seeing her, which is exactly what a good photographer does.

Diane was also very accomodating. We have large families and wanted to do family portraits before the ceremony. Though she was initially worried about time constraints, Diane killed it. She commanded a group of 60+ people, and got every photo we asked for... and in record time. She was also willing to work with one of our mother’s, who wanted table photos. And even though it wasn’t what we hired Diane for—and it’s an outdated wedding photography practice, anyway—she did her best to get them.

Also, we highly suggest doing an engagement session. Doing that months before the wedding helped us get comfortable with Diane and with being in some intimate/awkward poses in front of a camera. By the time it came to our wedding day, we were pros—whispering “look at each other,” “look away,” “look in the distance,” “heads together,” etc. to each other, which made our portrait sessions move quickly. We couldn’t have been so prepared without Diane’s guidance at the engagement session. Also, she was willing to reschedule that shoot for us multiple times when the weather wasn’t on our side, even though she had to come from Rhinebeck to New York City for it.

We’d said if we liked two of our engagement photos, we’d be happy. We ended up “favoriting” dozens. We were blown away by how much Diane captured us, without making us look skinnier or more flawless. It was us, but the best version of us—and we were overjoyed.

The short of it is, Diane is a dream to work with and the results took our breath away. At the end of the day, you only have the memories and photos from your wedding to look back on, and they’re in the best hands with Diane. Whether you’re a gay, lesbian, straight, bisexual, or trans couple, you want her to capture your big day. We couldn’t recommend her enough.

Once in a lifetime moments, captured forever

It's difficult to put into words the immense gratitude we have for Diane. As a gay male couple, we'd had some disappointing conversations, feeling like anything from just another job, to a portfolio novelty. When we found Diane, she made clear that her only point of view and priority was to capture the beauty and truth of our day.

Meeting Diane for the first time in Rhinebeck, she immediately put us at ease. We could brainstorm and discuss, but also felt comfortable leaving some decisions in her hands, and trusting that she would guide us in the right direction. Diane conveyed a respect for our day; we weren't just another client, she understood the importance of the moment we were asking her to capture for us. All of the preparation beforehand was guided, measured, and manageable, and one of the least stressful parts of planning our wedding.

The day of our wedding, Diane and her team were a dream. She guided us through the traditional shots she knew our families would want, but gave us freedom to capture moments that were unique to us. And during the wedding and reception, she was a photographic ninja! Almost invisible to our guests, but she captured the biggest and smallest moments. The moment during our dance when my mother said the most touching thing and I broke down, Diane captured it. The moment my husband and I arrived on the dance floor and the entire room erupted, Diane captured it. While everyone was dancing and my husband's parents were off to the side, admiring the family photos we'd put out, Diane captured it.

We now have a set of photos that aren't just posed portraits, but they truly tell the story of the most important day of our lives. We are eternally grateful to Diane, and couldn't recommend her highly enough.

DIANE IS THE BEST!!! Where can I even start? Diane is so good at capturing emotions and documenting the love and atmosphere (and of course tears too). These are the ideal wedding images I have been picturing every single day in my dream before my wedding and these are the best wedding pictures I have even seen. Every single time when I look through these wedding images I am impressed once again and again and again. The color, lights, emotions... everything is perfect.

Let me start from the beginning - as a perfectionist, I spent months going through all vendors trying to find the best one possible. The second when I saw one of Diane's wedding albums I burst into tears - this is how well she's able to capture emotions. I can feel the mood of the day and the happiness in the air. Diane has such a warm and friendly personality that calms me down and helps me be myself on my wedding day. To be fair, my husband doesn't like cameras at all even before mine, but Diane captured so many amazing moments of me and my husband because she blended in the guests and knew exactly when would be the best time to bring up the camera.

In addition to being able to capture emotions, she is a true artist in finding perfect lighting, color, and location. The structure of her image is perfect too. I could go on and on for days talking about how much I love her images and how amazing they are - but to summarize - I am so happy to have Diane be my wedding photographer on my special day and couldn't thank her enough for giving me and my husband such a great memory. Simply put Diane was a fabulous photographer and wonderful to work with. She was attentive, listened to exactly what we wanted and responded in kind. Her eye for great shots, angles and lighting is incredible and she produced absolutely gorgeous photos. From the start we wanted to find someone who would capture the love and excitement in the room during the candid moments, and Diane didn't just meet those expectations but exceeded them beyond anything we could have hoped for. We had multiple meetings before the wedding weekend both to discuss scheduling and what we wanted, but also so she could see the grounds, get a sense for the location and lighting, and to make recommendations. She and her team photographed the rehearsal dinner and our wedding day. She caught the big moments as well as the details, with exceptional lighting and framing. Our friends and family, some who are professional photographers, were equally impressed. She was also a calming voice during a hectic day - she is easy going with a great sense of humor combined with a real talent at communicating and moving quickly yet seamlessly. Diane and assistants were wonderful - we were put at ease, even for posed pictures. Our guests were also at ease, and overall the "story-line" of our wedding was exceptionally well captured by their work. Th outdoor shots of our ceremony as the sun was setting over the Hudson River - gorgeous.

Be sure to include the PhotoBooth! Guests had a great time posing and being festive - and we have all sorts of wonderful pictures of them having fun.

But the real star: the wedding album! quality of the photos and how all were arranged, again to convey the "story-line" of our wedding - just perfect.

We are very appreciative.

We loved working with Diane. We appreciated that she spent time getting to know us so that she could take pictures that really reflected who we are. iane and Tatiana, her assistant photographer, are very talented and extremely easy to work with. My husband and I were both nervous about being photographed ahead of our engagement shoot, but Diane made us feel comfortable from the start and it was a great way to prepare for the wedding photos.

On the actual wedding day, we had a few timing issues crop up with the ceremony which ate into our photo session time, but Diane and Tatiana managed to remain calm, cool, and collected while ensuring we got all the family photos we wanted. We also loved the natural look and creativity of some of their shots.

I'm a firm believer that hiring a good photographer is one of the most important parts of your wedding planning, and I couldn't be more pleased with our choice.

We contacted Diane after seeing the beautiful photos she took at a friend's wedding and we could not be happier with our decision! I don't think I need to write a review for Diane's photography. One look at her photos and you will see just how breathtaking and unbelievably beautiful they are and what an amazingly talented photographer she is. Her work speaks for itself.
I found Diane when I was looking for small venues in the Hudson Valley. I found her blog and instantly fell in love with her work. I actually contacted her to find out her availability even before I had a venue. I told her I was looking in the area, but hadn't found a venue because we were having a fairly small wedding (80-100) and all the venues I could find were much larger. She promptly sent me a list with previous small venues she had worked at in the area, even though I had not asked her to do so. I thought that was pretty impressive for a vendor who I had never met and had not booked with her yet. Right from the start, she was so helpful and very quick to respond. When we finally did meet, she was so down to earth. I booked her as soon as I booked the venue.
We used Diane for our engagement pictures, and immediately she helped us to feel at ease. She was also very flexible with her schedule, as we ended up having to change our engagement session last minute due to weather. Both our wedding and engagement photos turned out to be beautiful! I felt really badly for her on the day of my wedding because she was rushed to get all our pictures in on time and the locations were limited due to rainy weather, yet somehow, with her magic eye, we received stunning photos! Every one of my friends has commented to me about how wonderful our photos are! I don't know if I have another vendor I would recommend as highly as her. Needless to say, I was extremely happy with my decision of using Hudson River Photographer for my wedding.

We highly recommend Diane from Hudson River Photographer. We enjoyed every aspect of working with her from the first time we met her, to getting to know her at our engagement shoot and having her be a part of our wedding day. At our first meeting she was warm, inviting, and informative. In no way did she pressure us to make a decision to hire her, but we had no doubts that we would after meeting her and seeing her beautiful work. We really enjoyed our engagement session. Even though I was a bit nervous about having my photo taken, with all of the attention on us, she made us both feel comfortable, like she was an old friend. The photos came out great. On our wedding day she blended in really well and was not at all intrusive, like some photographers we’ve seen at other weddings. The photographs that resulted were absolutely stunning and will help us to remember the emotions from that day for years to come. Definitely choose Diane if you are looking for a stress free experience and high quality work.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Diane and Hudson River Photography. When looking for a wedding photographer I fell in love with Diane’s portfolio. Her pictures speak for themselves, they are clearly excellent works of art, her eye is spot-on and execution impeccable. I don’t believe I need to sell anyone on her pictures, just look at them for yourself.
There are other things to look for when choosing a wedding photographer, besides the quality of the photographs, and that is the professionalism of the photographer. Diane is exceptional in this regard as well. From the moment we starting inquiring about hiring her as our wedding photographer, she was prompt in returning e-mails or phone calls and was able to provide us with all of the necessary information we needed to go ahead with signing a contract.

We had wanted a good amount of family portraits and Diane was able to get everyone in and out for these portraits in a timely fashion and the portraits are GORGEOUS! The whole family is ecstatic with the results and the only problem is that there are TOO MANY great photographs to choose from. This is not something you might initially think about when hiring a wedding photographer, but, trust me, it is very important, and we were able to appreciate Diane’s professionalism in getting it done with very little stress and with great results.

Best decision we ever made when picking a photographer. She was a little out of my price range initially, but her work is priceless and soooo worth it.

Diane did our engagement photos and wedding photos, everything was perfect! We loved our photos and our guests gave us so many compliments. Diane makes sure she gets a good shot and she was great about helping us relax. She is professional and personable, we were so happy to work with her!

Diane's service is impeccable. Her photos are beyond beautiful and she is just wonderful to work with. She has various packages to work from and is very keen on getting to know you both so she can really grasp your personalities. She also takes more candid pictures than pose'y pictures which I think is the way to do it. Capturing those special moments that last for a split second is so important and special, and Diane and her team do that beautifully. She is the best wedding photographer out there!

We hired Hudson River Photographer for our wedding and could not have been happier. We are thrilled with all of our wedding pictures and our album is just perfect! Diane's work is so beautiful and interesting and she really listens to what her clients want. She was extremely helpful with planning the timeline of our wedding day. Not only is she an expert photographer, but she understands the complexities of weddings and works to make everything seamless. We would highly recommend Hudson River Photographer. Diane shot our wedding and was an absolute joy, and frankly, one of our favorite wedding memories. Both my wife and I were shy in front of the camera, but were put at ease by Diane’s playful and fun manner. She is a great person to have around during the stress of a wedding: flitting in and out amidst the chaos, getting what she needs without getting in anyone’s way and bringing her usual charm. All of this is to describe how much we liked Diane as a person, and doesn’t at all cover how great of a photog she is. I think her work speaks for itself, but to say it explicitly, we were amazed by how much we like our photos. Two other notes: 1. we opted for engagement photos after much deliberation, and found it to be a great way to get to know Diane before the big day and to get comfortable in front of the camera, and 2. Diane’s assistant was just as likable and professional.

I knew from the moment I viewed Diane's website that I had to have her. Her ability to capture moments and in such an organized, meticulous way was irresistible. Working with her was simply fantastic, she is calming but also assertive and full of energy that is really needed from any vendor at a wedding. She really took special care in her work. Diane is extremely talented and has a wonderful, calming energy about her, something that comes in handy when EVERYONE is super anxious on and leading up to the wedding day. Working with Diane was easy from the start and our photos are fantastic. Not every vendor was a pleasure to work with, so that in itself was wonderful. I live in CO but got married in NY. I also have an art and photography background, so I have an artistic eye and I knew what I was looking for in a photographer. Despite the fact that NY is such a wonderful, artistic hub, finding a great, artistic, creative photographer from out of state was not easy, and NY rates for the talented photographers gave me some serious sticker shock. I must have investigated over 50 photographers before finding Diane. I loved her work immediately and from the very first time I spoke with her, she put me at ease. She was honest and transparent with regards to her rates, expectations, etc. etc. etc. She was very professional, quick to respond and good at communicating, and her experience really helped me have a better understanding of what to expect on my wedding day, what to plan for etc. In speaking with her, I learned that she has a very forward looking (i.e. timeless) approach to her wedding photography style, and she made me aware of some stylistic considerations that I had not taken into account and that no other photographer had addressed with me. On the wedding day, we were behind schedule (something that usually makes me very anxious), dealing with overcast skies, the threat of rain (it held off!), losing daylight, and a disorganized crew (our friends and family kept disappearing at picture time). Diane was calm when she could have been anxious. This helped calm my nerves. She was firm when she needed to get people in order (which I loved), but she was able to do this without being rude or causing more anxiety (pretty skillful, actually). We had a wonderful day and a fabulous party. I think Diane's energy had a lot to do with the success of our event as her creativity, flexibility, and easy going nature made these potential “threats” (to the success of the day) nothing more than momentary, insignificant glitches. Diane had some serious challenges to work with (see above), but she was able to capture the essence of our day anyhow. She even listened to my weird and quirky insecurities and managed to take them into account with nearly all of the photographs!. I would recommend Diane/ Hudson River Photographer without hesitation. Thank you Diane/ Hudson River Photographer for your creativity, flexibility, calming nature and for taking this one piece of the stress that is wedding planning off of my plate! Also, thank you for capturing all of the details and beauty of our wedding day.

Diane is great, she provided us with an engagement shoot that really helped us prepare and be comfortable with our wedding shots. The wedding was a crazy, hectic day and Diane still went around and did her thing. She even stayed later and took more pictures. We havent seen the final product yet but I am sure it will
all turn out great based on the sneak peek on her blog. Thanks so much Diane!

I found Diane through a online search and just loved her creative/artistic photography style. Most of our communication was through email. We meet her once before our wedding. She asked us questions regarding our day to get a sense of who we are and what we wanted for our wedding pictures. My husband and I immediately felt comfortable with Diane.
She took the traditional family and group portraits, while also taking many fantastic, spontaneous, quirky and fun shots that truly captured our day. Diane did whatever it took to get a the right shots including laying on the ground or getting on a ladder!
And Wow! I love our wedding pictures! Diane is professional, thoughtful and has a relaxed approach. She is a great artist and a true find. We highly recommend her.

Diane was such a find! I planned my New York wedding from Indiana where my husband and I currently live. We communicated mostly by email, and she understood exactly what we wanted. She was on board with the theme and style of the wedding from the very beginning, and was especially excited about my idea of taking photographs at a local carousel. I knew at the time she was taking some amazing shots, but when we received the DVD of all of our photographs we were blown away. The results far exceeded our expectations.

Overall I was very satisfied with selecting Diane as my photographer for my wedding. My husband and I set up a meeting with Diane prior to our wedding to go over all the details for our big day. Diane was a joy to work with at our wedding! Her pictures are incredible, we couldn't have asked for more beautiful, expressive, intimate and artistic photographs to remember our special day by! She was super flexible too, incorporating a wide variety of shots, ranging from portraits and group/family photos to spontaneous ones where we didn't even know she was taking the picture! She does a really great job of being subtle and unobtrusive while photographing. Diane is thorough and professional with her work and yet she is sweet, creative and, to be honest, really fun to have at the wedding! Diane was an absolute breath of fresh air!!
Amidst all the vendors we were trying to coordinate, our meeting with Diane was a pleasure and kick started our wedding excitement. It was great to work with someone so organized, who asked all the right questions yet was completely relaxed. My husband and I live in the city so our communication with Diane was almost entirely over email and yet nothing was lost in translation. I am glad we went with Diane's suggestion of a combination of candids and formals. Our photographs are stunning and the formals are a big hit with family! We even wanted to fly Diane out to India with us to photograph our ceremony in Mumbai!!
Most importantly we danced the night away, we have pictures that make us look like we were in a beautiful movie and we never even realized we were being photographed.

I would highly recommend Diane to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Diane's professionalism, energy, and relaxed attitude made her a pleasure to work with! I absolutely knew from the start that we were in very good hands with Diane! She took the time to get to know us, find out what we were looking for, and then took us through her plan/vision for our day. Simple as that! She was easy to communicate with, open to our ideas, and very capable. I mentioned to Diane that I would like a group shot of all of our guests and wedding party, and there she was on her ladder--taking the most beautiful photo of everyone on our wedding day! The photos she took of us on our wedding day are absolutely gorgeous. She was able to capture all of the subtle moments of our wedding that I would have never seen. I've looked at many wedding photos of friends and have never seen any that capture all of the little moments that make up what a wedding is truly about. All of our friends and family were blown away by our photos and we couldn't be happier with them!

Diane was a wonderful photographer, we could not have asked for anyone better to have documented our wedding. She has an energy about her and brings it into all aspects of her work. She went out of her way to take the time to get to know us so that she could tailor her work to our personalities and needs. Diane was very easy to communicate with, asked great questions and really listened to our responses, she worked with us to provide excellent photographs of our wedding combining our desires with her experience, imagination, and more than considerable skill. She as well never grew tired of answering our questions which was great. She worked tirelessly on our wedding day to get every shot we wanted and many we had realized we should have wanted. We have a tremendous amount of fantastic pictures! She is also very flexible and responsive, we wanted a mix of photo journalistic and traditional shots and she was able to produce a large variety of both types of images. The quality and craft of her work are exceptional. I enjoyed working with Diane and have recommended her highly to friends who are getting married.

Diane is amazing. When we first met her she was warm and inviting. During our engagement shoot she worked with the both of us so we wouldn't feel so "caught in the headlights" and awkward. At our wedding, Diane and our second photographer were extremely professional and punctual. One of the last things you want is to stress about where the photographer is! The entire day went by so quickly it was a blur but we have beautiful and powerful photos that we had no idea were taken. Diane is a ninja.

What a wonderful experience!! From our initial contact with Diane through the months after the wedding when creating our album, working with Diane was fantastic. With extreme professionalism and care Diane captured our wedding day and created stunning images we've loved going back to and sharing with friends and family. Ideal in both product and process

We can't recommend Diane enough. Artistically, the photos came out wonderfully. Diane's work shows that she is more focused on capturing candid moments, such as a emotion-filled facial expression, than staging cheesy group shots. This is part of why we hired her, but make sure that's what you're after.

We really appreciated how process-oriented Diane is. In the initial interview, Diane discussed how the day would unfold, gave us topics to consider, and encouraged us what to focus on. It was clear she had a ton of experience, since she was able to point out ways that certain ideas may or may not work as well.

On the day of, Diane's fun and relaxed energy went a long way in helping us feel relaxed. Although she was working hard, her constant smile only added to the joy of the occasion.

We also appreciated the ease of use of her software, including billing and the photo storage and selection afterwards.

Finally, as a same-sex couple, it was such a comfort to have a photographer with experience in queer weddings who made us feel special in all the right ways.

After viewing some of Diane's work online, I knew immediately that she could provide the type of photographs that my husband and I wanted to capture our day. From my first phone meeting straight through the wedding day, Diane lived up to those expectations. On the day of the wedding she did a great job of keeping me, my husband, and family all calm and relaxed. This comes through in the results as well - the pictures truly tell a story of our day. They are fun, candid, and beautiful. I feel like she was able to truly get a feel of the fun that everyone was having, how beautiful the day was, and how happy my husband and I were. We have had the pictures for a few weeks now, and I can't stop looking at them :)
I highly recommend Diane for any event that you may be planning!
