Amazing experience!!

We had our wedding here at the end of May and nothing could have been more perfect. We fell in love with the venue (where all facilities worked perfectly); Melissa's warmth made us feel at home from the moment we met her, through all the stages of planning, to our wedding day. She made sure we had everything we needed, caring for us like friends and doing everything she could to make things run smoothly. When my seamstress fell through in early February, she had a great suggestion to help me find a dress I loved. Melissa's experience in the industry is priceless and she absolutely knows the best folks to work with (honestly we regretted when we did not use one of her recommended vendors). She is also a great communicator and handles curveballs with grace. We had planned on an outdoor wedding but we got rain and our guests said everything seemed like it had been planned for inside all along. So grateful we picked this venue for so many reasons!! We could not have been happier with our choice. Thank you Melissa and Glenn for making our wedding perfect!!

Versatile and Gorgeous Venue; Experienced Coordinating; Great Food!

I fell in love with this beautiful, versatile venue from the moment I arrived. I was impressed by Melissa's experience, the ease of working with Melissa, the wonderfully delicious food and especially the versatility of the site. Regardless of what Mother Nature was going to through at us, we were going to be covered (literally) at the Hudson Manor. Melissa was prepared to run with the ball and give us a wonderful ceremony and reception. However, our Chaplain and I wanted a specific format for the wedding itself and Melissa stepped back and let us do exactly what we wanted. For the reception, we were thrilled to let Melissa coordinate it all. She knew what things we wanted to do and executed it flawlessly! My husband and I were thrilled that she gave us exactly what we wanted and it went as smooth as silk. I cannot recommend Melissa, her talented chef (her hubby) and her extraordinary staff, highly enough. Thank you Melissa and Hudson Manor!

Best Day Ever!

There are not enough positive words to describe our experience at Hudson Manor and with their coordinator Melissa! She made the ENTIRE planning process as stress-free as possible. From the first time my now husband and I toured it and sat down with Melissa, we knew that is where we wanted to get married! The grounds are beautiful, the house is spectacular, and the area is quaint and quiet. Within the week of booking, Melissa had already locked down our photographer (Chris Nieto) and DJ (Taylormade DJ service), whom she highly recommended and we were not disappointed with either! Throughout the whole planning time frame she would check in and keep us on track with what needed to be done and when. She took the guesswork out of it, which was such a relief, as it can be stressful when working full-time and taking care of a farm. Planning a wedding during Covid also threw some unknowns in the mix, but Melissa was always the first to reassure us that it would still be the best day of our lives and it truly was.
On wedding day the nerves kick in and you just want everything to go smooth, and be perfect and it absolutely was. Melissa walked us through every aspect of our day and it went off without a hitch. I COULD NOT have wanted it to go any other way. We had multiple friends and family tell us this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Melissa's husband is the chef and the food was to die for. She was genuinely happy for us and thinking back on the day, it was absolutely the best day of our lives! I 10 out of 10 recommend Hudson Manor for your big day!!

Excellent service and Covid friendly

Planning a wedding during a global pandemic is not something we ever expected to do, but Melissa was so helpful and professional. She offered additional dates and was very flexible given the circumstances. We truly could not have asked for a better experience, and we are so grateful! The wedding was so beautiful, and they were careful to follow mandates without making us feel like we were in the twilight zone - a lot of care and thought behind every decision. We highly recommend this venue for its beauty, value, and truly excellent service.

Best Low-Key, Off Beaten Path All-Inclusive Venue for Miles!

Melissa Cogliati was our wedding coordinator. She and her family run the business and they are very flexible and accommodating. Definitely not as uptight as so many others, which for us was a big plus. The venue has a ceremony location (a beautiful white chapel with a pretty red door), a reception area, a getting ready area, and a patio. It can accommodate outdoor weddings in summertime. We were married in November, so we didn't end up seeing that. We LOVED having an option that had a chapel and reception on one property. There were paved paths in between and an easy parking area.

We wanted to do a Star Wars wedding, and she was totally willing to work with us on that front. She sent decoration suggestions and helped offer the decor they had. We had a few out there suggestions too, and she was really willing to work with us without making us feel strange about it! The chapel was gorgeous, and we were easily able to seat our 65ish guests. It was cold, but the patio had warmers and seats for people who wanted to hang out after dinner to get away from the noise.

The food and service was excellent. They were very on top of clearing, passing hors d'oeuvres, getting drinks, etc. Day-of, she was responsible for taking care of us, the couple. We felt very significant because of the attentiveness of her and her staff.

For dinner, we had roast beef and herb chicken with sweet potatoes, Yukon potatoes, green beans, and salad. The menu variety was wonderful and she was willing to offer us suggestions about how to tweak it. The venue also had a tasting event, which we were able to attend on Valentine's Day ahead of time so we could get a feel for what the food might be like. It was all excellent. The apps were great too. We especially liked the bacon-wrapped filet bites and spring rolls during the cocktail hours. What a variety we had to choose from! Also of note, on the menu items we had to meet some kind of minimum for the package we were offered. However, our guest count kept changing (we are military) and she was very flexible with changing up our food options to help us meet minimums without being pushy or making us buy an excess of food. She even mentioned once not wanting us to buy things just to meet some price point. That was really awesome.

Additionally, she was willing to work with all of our other vendors to take that stress off our plates. She did offer preferred vendor options, but was not only cool with but also willing to work with other vendors from other places outside her preferred list. We did find a few vendors on our own, but once we secured them Melissa really worked with them, which made it much less stressful than it would have been otherwise.

The venue is a little out of the way, but because of that it is beautiful countryside views all the way around, even in wintertime.

Highlights for us: chapel/reception in one place, willing to be flexible with vendors, great variety of food options/choices (we both got something we loved), ease of process throughout -- she was willing to take as much or little as we wanted.

Couldn't recommend more! If we have friends in the area, I will totally suggest sending them out this way!

Hudson Manor exceeded our expectation for our daughter and her now husband's wedding on 8/18/18. We planned the entire wedding remotely, as only the bride and groom live in Raleigh. All guests including parents of bride and groom were from out of town. The service is truly all inclusive- they were wonderful. I could not recommend a venue more highly- their suggested vendors for services such as photographers and flowers were great! We could not have been happier! Thank you for making our daughter's and her husband's special day amazing!! I am sharing some of the photo's shared by friends- we'll update with the photographer pics when we get them!

The Hudson Manor was one of the first venues we visited and I LOVED it! Melissa was so nice and very responsive. We had the ceremony in the outdoor garden area, which was beautiful. I liked how there was an indoor chapel area in case of bad weather, which was also very nice for a ceremony. I also loved how the was an outdoor patio attached to the ballroom. Everything about this set up was great. The major thing that stuck out to me was that it was all inclusive. I loved having Melissa there to help me when I needed it and on my wedding day she executed everything perfectly. When I showed up on my wedding day, everything was set up just how I wanted it and I didn't have to do a thing but enjoy it! I definitely recommend this venue!

There are not enough words to explain the ultimate experience Melissa creates for your wedding day. She is very professional and very quick with all responses. The day of of the wedding runs so smoothly. I planned for little things to go wrong throughout the day, and honestly not one single thing did! She is a dream when it comes to creating your perfect day. She is very open to any ideas you have, and also full of information of the best way to do things! Her vendors are phenomenal! This is a one stop venue. Book all of your vendors and she does all of the communication for you. I would recommend this for every bride that wants a hassle free wedding day!

The Hudson Manor is one of the best venues to have a wedding. My new husband and I went to several locations around the Raleigh area and nothing could compare to what they had to offer. Not only were we able to get dressed in the 100-year-old home, there is a chapel and reception hall right on site, which provided my guests with the ability to transition from one to the other after the ceremony. This was especially important for our elderly family members who have a hard time moving around.

Melissa, the owner of The Hudson Manor also doubled as the coordinator for the day. She provided me with vendors from a preferred list while approving some of my own choosing as well. She is on top of her game and was extremely helpful in assisting me organize the ‘day of’ timeline. She coordinated with each vendor and kept my mom (a.k.a POC) up to date, which was key to making sure the day went smoothly.

We simply cannot say enough about Melissa or The Hudson Manor. It is definitely worth the trip out to Louisburg.

Our wedding at the Hudson manor was everything we could have dreamed of. Meslissa was so easy to talk to days leading up the the wedding. During the rehearsal we dropped off serval things we wanted in the reception hall and over night everything was set up perfectly. Although we really wanted it outside, due to possible thunderstorms and the hot weather we ended up having the ceremony inside. The chapel was a perfect place for the ceremony. So intimate and classic. Melissa did such a great job day of keep both the bride and groom calm and relaxed and allowed us to have the best wedding ever! Thank you so much Melissa!!

Three words: DREAM COME TRUE! My husband and I had our wedding at the Hudson Manor on June 3, 2017. We planned our wedding during a short amount of time, and we could not have pulled off the most amazing day of our lives without this jaw dropping venue and the professional attitude and creativity of the owner, Melissa Cogliati. She had so many ideas that we didn't even think to think of, but all of our guests noticed and enjoyed. We received personal comments from each of our guests about how it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been too. This was all thanks to Melissa. She captured my vision, and took care of the details. As the bride, your nerves can already be everywhere, but she calmed me down each time. When I arrived to the venue on the day of, my heart was overflowing with how she captured everything I had ever hoped and dreamed of and more. My bridesmaids and family thoroughly enjoyed the bridal suite (7 bridesmaids and 4 honorary bridesmaids, mothers and grandmothers) and the groomsmen enjoyed their manly den ( about 20 guys in their total). Our photographer was able to capture the most stunning pics due to the landscape and beauty of all the surrounding elements. All of our 200+ guests were fed and content. Many had comments about how wonderful the food was (And it was delicious). Melissa made sure my husband and I ate and got to enjoy each detail of that day. We all had a wonderful time. Melissa made sure all the guests were kept hydrated before the ceremony and that everyone knew where to go. Its hard to keep things organized with such a crowd, but she did a superb job and the wedding went on without a hitch. I thoroughly recommend this venue to any and every bride. It comes with everything you desire: A bridal/groom suite, a beautiful plantation house, a reception hall, a beautiful terrace, a garden ceremony site, a view of a lake, a chapel, I mean everything! Because of the Hudson Manor, our wedding was a dream come true! Thank you Melissa!

My daughters wedding was everything we dreamed it would be. Since it was all inclusive it made it easier on us. We had several vendors to pick from for the DJ, flowers, linen... we were very happy with each vendor we chose. Melissa was there for us every step of the way and was so easy to work with. The wedding was supposed to be outside. At rehersal the night before Melissa suggested moving it inside the beautiful chapel. But she said it was up to us. We made the decision to have it inside and that was a great choice. The day of the wedding it was hot and humid so everyone was happy to be inside. The chapel is so cozy and beautiful! We had 100 people. The dance floor was a good size. The food was very good. Highly recommend the chicken Marsala! The rooms where the wedding party gets dressed it so beautiful. Highly recommend this venue, it's gorgeous and Melissa is there to help you every step of the way!

The Hudson Manor was the best place to have a wedding! We looked at tons of venues and once I called and talked to Melissa on the phone, I knew that Hudson Manor was for us. She has many years experience, is really friendly, and definitely knows what she is doing. They provide a list of EXCELLENT wedding vendors; everyone we met was amazing and we had a hard time choosing, so you can't go wrong. Once we saw the Hudson Manor, the deal was sealed and we booked the day of. The food was delicious, the views spectacular; and the night was amazing. The day of, they do everything they can to make the bride and groom feel special. Melissa and Glen really know how to host a fantastic wedding and if you are looking for a venue, Hudson Manor is a great place to have it.

My wedding at The Hudson Manor was perfect!! Melissa and her staff were such a pleasure to work with. Anytime I had a question (big or small), I would contact Melissa and she was very quick with her response. I'd heard stories about how much of headache planning a wedding could be, but my experience was not a headache at all thanks to The Hudson Manor. Since it is all-inclusive, there really wasn't much for me, the bride, to do. My wedding was a few weeks ago and the guests are still talking about how awesome the venue was, not to mention how nice the staff was. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding and we owe it all to The Hudson Manor. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Hudson Manor to any couple who wants a stress free day!. The Hudson Manor is not only a gorgeous place but the owner, Melissa, did a fantastic job helping us with all the details and accommodating any changes we wanted! Hudson manor is a beautiful one stop wedding venue with outdoor garden and indoor chapel options. Melissa and her husband, the owners, are dedicated to making your wedding day experience the best possible. Melissa serves as both a wedding consultant throughout the planning process and a wedding day director. She is thoughtful, efficient, and prompt to respond to any questions. She keeps the event on schedule.

Her husband is the chef and he serves up abundant delicious options from appetizers to the main course. Our guests raved about the food. (We served prime rib and it was pink, tender, and perfect!)

Melissa provides several approved vendor options for the bride to consider: photographer (we used Chris Nieto), flowers (Fallons), cake (edible art), DJ (Taylor Pittman), and minister (rev william Scott). We recommend all of the above as dependable and professional.

Hudson manor made our wedding planning process as simple as possible and we appreciate the service oriented attitude of everyone involved. Thanks for the memories.

My husband and I were married early spring of this year at The Hudson Manor. Melissa Cogliati did an amazing job with our wedding. Despite some inclement windy weather, we were able to have the ceremony in the wedding chapel located on the property- Which was beautiful and very charming. It also accommodated for our 150 wedding guest comfortably. They did a wonderful job preparing the property for the first wedding of the spring season. It was so nice having her there to coordinate everything the day of so we could just sit back and relax. Melissa and her staff were so dedicated to making sure our day was everything we could have imagined. Also, the food was amazing and plentiful! Catering is on site which was incredibly convenient (Melissa even made us some to-go plates to take with us before we made our grande exit!) They were gone by the time we got to our hotel.... We really could not have asked for a better coordinator and venue site. It was such a perfect day.

I just got married at the Hudson Manor and wow the night could not have been any more perfect. From the beginning, Melissa was so helpful in helping my mom and I plan everything from the DJ and flowers to the food selections and table linens. The night of the ceremony we didn't have to worry about a thing because Melissa was making sure everything ran smoothly. The venue is beautiful with 3 locations to pick from for your ceremony and an elegant and beautiful reception hall. The food was delicious, the staff was helpful, and the service we received from Melissa was phenomenal. The all-inclusive package is of much better value than a lot of other venues we looked at and was perfect for our 150 guests. You will have no regrets in choosing The Hudson Manor for your wedding venue!

Melissa and Glenn Cogliati made my daughter’s wedding reception a five star event. I can’t even fathom what we would have done without Melissa’s assistance in suggesting the most fabulous vendors for my daughter’s day. From photographer to DJ to florist and beyond everyone was a true professional. Hudson Manor is such a beautiful setting and a great place to get amazing photos. Glenn is a master chef and everything tasted fabulous. Melissa is totally organized and makes the reception flow with ease. As a mother of the bride, I didn’t have to worry about a thing that day knowing Melissa would be overseeing the event. I cannot give enough praise to Melissa, Glenn and their staff for delivering above and beyond what was promised to us. We had guests who live in major cities around the world and they told us the Hudson Manor was a world class venue and could compete with any venue in their city. If you want a stress free event in an idyllic setting, the Cogliati’s are the people and the Hudson Manor is the place.

The Hudson Manor was the perfect venue for my winter wedding. The catering, cake, linens, and DJ were all a part of the wedding package making wedding planning simple and stress free. If the vendors were not a part of the package, Melissa would recommend vendors they have used in previous wedding (like the florist) and I would give them 5 star reviews as well! Melissa was the perfect wedding planner, always attentive and accessible when needed. Being able to work with the Hudson to plan my wedding was lots of fun and made every step of the wedding process a memorable and happy experience. The ceremony space and reception space are on the same property making it easy for guests and they are absolutely beautiful! A beautiful setting for wedding photos and for me, I'm local, but it felt like a destination wedding in the countryside. The wedding was everything I had dreamed of and I would recommend this venue to any future bride!

From the minute we drove onto the property, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Being very type A, I was looking for a venue that would make sure our day went off without a hitch. We booked at Hudson Manor more than a year before we got married and from the moment we told Melissa we wanted to get married there, she was WONDERFUL! She clearly knows what she is doing. She always made sure that our planning was on track. Via e-mails and phone calls she was very helpful and always happy to answer all questions, even if they weren’t venue related.
The day of our wedding, she made sure everything happened on time. My husband and I did not have to worry about anything. She took charge of communicating with all the vendors so we didn’t have to worry about the details, set up, or arrival of anything to make sure our day was perfect. When the bridal party arrived, she made sure we had everything we needed. Our reception was perfect. While we had a buffet, she plated everything my husband and I wanted for dinner, including seconds if necessary. She kept us well hydrated and set everything up beautifully.
We brought numerous things the day of our rehearsal that we needed her help setting up. We had seating cards, a centerpiece for the buffet table, crystals to jazz up the centerpieces, our champagne flutes, cake cutting/serving, etc. Not only did she make sure she knew exactly what our vision was, she made our vision become even better than we thought imaginable. Our wedding was perfect thanks to Melissa. We couldn’t recommend the Hudson Manor with more enthusiasm. Thank you so much for making our day perfect in every way!!

From the very beginning when we started planning the wedding all the way till the moment we exit Hudson Manor, Melissa is always there and ready to answer any questions we have. Booking this venue doesn't just mean you booked a place for ceremony and reception. It is far more than that! Melissa was almost taking care of everything during the wedding. She knows so well about when to do what so that I don't have to worry about anything on my wedding day. She even took care of every little details I wanted for the decorations and she did a PERFECT job!!! Without her, I even couldn't imagine how many things I should do and I should worry about!!! Our wedding at The Hudson Manor was absolutely perfect in every way imaginable! Melissa is a true pleasure to work with, and she knows how to make the day run as smooth as possible. She took care of everything the day of the wedding, which made our day so much more enjoyable. The prices are incredibly reasonable, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and it truly is the perfect, all-inclusive package! With several different locations for ceremonies (including an on-site, BEAUTIFUL chapel) I can honestly say that anyone's wedding will be absolutely stunning no matter what! The food was delicious, the service was phenomenal, everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful -- all of our guests had a wonderful time, and we couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. My Husband and I had the most amazing time at our wedding thanks to the venue we chose. The owner Melissa and attentive staff made it so I could relax on our big day and leave the details to them. Her husband handles the kitchen and the food was beyond belief. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the country setting and reception were. I can't say enough about how amazing The Hudson Manor is! Melissa was always quick with a response to any questions I had and provided updates and reminders leading up to the wedding day. There was no question, we were going to get married at the Hudson Manor! Melissa was such a joy to work with, and exceeded all of our expectations. The venue is gorgeous! Being able to have our dream wedding and reception all in one location was perfect. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect for our outdoor wedding. However, had it taken a turn for the worse, she has a beautiful little chapel that we could have used as well. She's got it all! We will forever be grateful and thankful for all she did for us!!!

It was everything we wanted it to be and we had such a great time. I think it is the most beautiful venue not only for photos but for all of our special moments throughout the day. The rooms inside the house were perfect places for us to all get ready in with our friends and family, the garden was the perfect spot for our first look, the foyer was the perfect spot for us to exchange gifts, and the entire property allowed us amazing photo opportunities (the fall tress and leaves didn't hurt either!). I am so thankful we chose the Hudson Manor not only for the venue but for the direction and vendor information you provided us with too. Every vendor was wonderful and delivered exactly what I had in mind.

The value and quality we received on our wedding was worth every penny at the Hudson Manor. We initially were interested in getting married in New Bern area but after checking out a few places and talking with venue owners we were dissatisfied. We met multiple times with Melissa before we committed. We were happy with her responsiveness through out the whole process. She will get back in touch with you unlike other venue owners. The Hudson Manor was also flexible with wedding ideas and things we wanted. We used all her recommended vendors and we were very happy with their prices and performance. I fell in love with the Hudson Manor the first time I ever saw it! I had looked at a lot of different venues but this one was PERFECT! It had every single accomodation you could think of! An amazing plantation house to get ready in, beautiful gardens, a stone chapel, and a stunning grand ball room for the reception! It was everything that I had wanted and more! The property that it was on is gorgeous and awesome for pictures! The owner, Melissa, was very attentive, flexible, and made sure everything was perfect for my special day! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything! The food was EXCELLENT! All of my guests told me that it was the best wedding food they have ever had and the cake was spectacular! I am extremely satisfied and incredibly happy about how everything turned out! I would highly recommend this venue! It is the perfect place for a beautiful wedding!

Melissa was amazing from the moment we considered the Hudson Manor until we left as husband and wife. When looking for a venue, I called her last minute to see if we could see her venue on Christmas Eve. Not only did she take the time to let us come see the venue, but she sat down and discussed specifics with us. Throughout the entire planning process, Melissa called and emailed several times, asking if she could help in any way. Melissa offered amazing service at a price much more affordable than similar venues. The list of items included in the venue price definitely has many more needed items than other places. Her list of recommended vendors are also amazing. I would definitely recommend the Hudson Manor to any bride who is planning on a budget and who needs guidance through the entire planning process. Melissa was always there for us!

The Hudson Manor is a beautiful venue to get married and have your reception at. The all inclusive package was very conveinent because it eliminated having to deal with alot of different vendors. Melissa and her staff were very attentive and very professional. The food was very tasty and well presented. Wonderful - just wonderful! The Hudson Manor was the first venue we looked at after we got engaged and we knew from the moment we saw it that we had to get married there. It's absolutely beautiful and was so incredibly convenient to have the all inclusive package. We had catering, wedding coordinator, all the furniture (chairs, tables, etc), a cake table, cake cutting - everything was included and all in one place. We even had the option to pay the owner and coordinator for all the services and then have her pay the other individual vendors. We got a preferred vendor list from the start and a lot of awesome advice throughout all of the wedding planning. Our wedding day was simply amazing!

Melissa and the staff of The Hudson Manor are AMAZING! When my only daughter became engaged in October 2011, we knew we had our work cut out for us since she lived in North Carolina and I lived in Indiana. The first item on the list was to find a venue. Melissa was prompt to answer our calls and emails whenever we had questions. As soon as my daughter visited the Manor, she knew it was the place to have her spring wedding. The day of the wedding everything was beautiful. The outside gardens were breathtaking. The outdoor patio was a wonderful setting for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The indoor ballroom was very elegant. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was. To complete a great venue there has to be great food and that is what we had….GREAT food. Everything was delicious. Melissa also has a complete list of vendors that are needed to make a perfect day. We selected all our wedding professionals from her list and each of them were a joy to work with. Melissa is a true professional. She worked closely with us during the entire planning process, and was very hands on the day of the wedding ensuring that everything went smoothly. Thank you Melissa for making my daughter’s wedding day so special. You were a true blessing not only to the very happy bride but also to the very happy mother-of-the bride!

My daughter wanted to get married in a barn but we could not find one that suited our needs and price. I found the Hudson Manor by doing an internet search. We paid a deposit site unseen at a bridal show to secure our date. We attended two taste testings prior to her wedding so we were able to determine what foods we wanted to serve. The wedding was outside and the reception was indoors in their pavillion. They added a covered area that can be used to weddings due to inclement weather or as a spill over to the outside for the reception. The wedding party was able to dress inside the house. Melissa was very responsive to our request. My only complaint ( which is not a big deal) was that the staff cleaned up the plates too quickly and it was not made know to the guest that they could go back for seconds.

We visited The Hudson Manor first after viewing several venues online. Our daughter and son-in-law found it to be exactly what they wanted and there happened to be an opening on a Sat. in May, so we booked it that night. We found Melissa to be warm, friendly, professional and very helpful. My son-in-law made the comment that she seemed to be as excited about their wedding as we were! You can tell that she enjoys her job and really is so helpful in every aspect of the event! The cost was very reasonable and I have had so many people comment on how beautiful the wedding and reception were! The weather was questionable so we had the ceremony under the terrace. Melissa suggested that it was the only way to be fairly sure of an outdoor ceremony. So glad we followed her advice because we would've had a wet and very unhappy bride as it started to storm at the very end of the ceremony. The ballroom looked amazing and the food was delicious!! When I asked our daughter at the end of the evening if it was everything she dreamed of, she replied, "and so much more"!! Thank you so much Melissa, Glenn and the staff for helping to make our daughter's special day a dream come true!!

The Hudson Manor was an EXCELLENT choice for my wedding and I would choose it again! Melissa was extremely knowledgeable about the entire process and immediately set my mind at ease. She was straightforward and fun at the same time. The venue was gorgeous and was exactly what I wanted out of an outdoor ceremony. They put a lot of time, consideration, and effort into maintaining the grounds. Everything was -easy- and when wedding day came, I didn't have to worry about anything. It came as a package to include her planning expertise, rentals, venue, catering, and set up/clean up. Melissa and her team had backup plans for the backup plans. She used her charm to please both sides of the family and made sure everyone had a great time. She has amazing recommendations for other services like cake, photographer, and dj that she trusts. The Hudson Manor is hands down the best wedding venue in North Carolina! The owners, Melissa and Glenn Cogliati, are professional, fair, and accommodating. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and with the climate controlled ballroom, covered patio, and outdoor reception site, Hudson Manor is the best choice for people who would like an outdoor ceremony with not only one but two back up plans :) Our guests cannot stop talking about how fantastic ALL the food was. Aside from the groom, this was my favorite and most memorable part of my May 21st wedding!!! Hats off to Melissa and Glenn and keep up the awesome work!

The Hudson Manor made everything so easy for me and my fiance. From the decorations to the food, everything was exactly the way I wanted it to be. Everyone who attended thought it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to and they assumed it to be very expensive but that was not the case. It was very affordable compared to other places without any of the perks that come with the Hudson Manor. I absolutely love my wedding and can't wait to renew my vows because I'm definitely booking it the Hudson Manor!!

Selecting The Hudson Manor was one of the best moves we've made in the planning process. Melissa was always will to assist with any and every concerne I had. Living abroad and having limited availability to just stop by the venue would have been very stressful, but it wasn't at all. The grounds are beautiful and having the reception hall on the premises was ideal. Melissa even help bustle my dress...; that's how dedicated Melissa and her staff are; taking care of all the little things so that you can enjoy your day.

The ceremony and reception sites were beautiful! Every staff member was helpful, friendly, and professional. We were given great tips and ideas. The reception hall is wonderful, and the food was outstanding. From beginning to end we were more than pleased, and would recommend Hudson Manor for anyone who wants an elegant and fun wedding and reception!

Melissa and the staff at Hudson Manor helped to turn my daughter's fantasy into reality. Melissa was so helpful, and full of advice, and the staff was superb. The food was excellent, with many guests commenting to me on how delicious it was, and on the kindness and friendliness of the staff. Throughout the long day, Melissa kept smiling and directing, making it almost effortless for me.

My fiancée and I visited a few venues in person and it seems like hundreds online. After only 15 minutes at the Hudson Manor, chatting with the owner Melissa and touring its gorgeous grounds, we exchanged a ‘this is the one’ look.

I wanted to get married at a historic home but didn’t like the idea of the party being broken up in the house’s tiny rooms…or being relegated to a hot and bugy tent. The Manor was a perfect compromise.

The extraordinary home with its grand federal-style columns, gracious porch and breezy balcony imbue the property with a sense of history. While the new detached Grand Ballroom offers both a complementary air of grandeur and all the modern conveniences—such as air conditioning, plenty of open space, spacious bathrooms and a professional kitchen.

In the ballroom you’ll find gilded chairs, floor length mirrors, crystal-encrusted chandeliers and a breathtaking cake display table. It is a grand setting but also neutral enough to look fabulous with any number of themes and colors.

One attractive component for us was that the Hudson Manor offers a complete package. The catering, linen, table settings, ceremony location, reception location, parking attendants, wait staff and Melissa herself are all included. No contacting endless vendors. The Hudson Manor is a one stop shop. Jeff was smart enough to know if he wanted to walk down the aisle with a sane girl we needed an option like this.

Melissa’s husband Glenn is the chef and I’ve got to tell you our food was fabulous. The friendly wait staff even brought us full plates and helped make sure we ate, even in our dazed-with-happiness state.

The Manor also has agreements with all the other types of vendors you might need (cake, flower and DJ mavens to name a few). She has weeded through the dross and found the best in the business—most are award winning and they all deserve to be.

But I think the thing that ultimately sold us on the Hudson Manor was Melissa herself. She is down to earth, professional and as nice as the day is long. Having her experience at our fingertips was invaluable.

On our wedding day she was the quiet shadow, the woman behind the curtain that made everything work. She sewed on buttons, pinned on boutonnières and even did an emergency dress bustleing for me with enormous safety pins. So far above and beyond, I felt teary. Her level headedness made it possible for us to do the Rumba we spent about $400 learning to dance. I’m not sure how in the world I forgot that detail. I’m sure I was not her first befuddled bride.

The day was perfect. Not without hiccups. But the hiccups give you memories. So, perfect. Surrounded by our family and friends in a simply lovely location for the most splendid occasion imaginable. The Hudson Manor and Melissa made that possible.

Melissa and the entire staff at the Hudson Manor were absoultly awesome, from the set up to the very end everything was perfect. I would highly recommend the Hudson Manor for any Bride looking for a wedding venue. If your looking for a beautiful venue with great gourmet food, elegent ballroom, and a staff second to none, then the Hudson Manor is your best bet. The Hudson Manor made a very special day for my Daughter and Son-in law even that much more special. We will always be so appreciative to Melissa and the staff.

My wedding was perfect! I couldn't have worked with anyone better. Melissa was the greatest! She did exactly what she said she would, she followed-up with me periodically, and she always responded to my emails or phone calls. I have had more guests tell me how fantastic the food was and how beautiful the venue was. I priced several different places and this was for sure the best value!!

Wow, I can't say enough about The hudson manor. Melissa was great, she took care of the details, from start to finish. She recommended all of my vendors and my wedding went so smoothly, even though I was 2 hours late and missed my own rehersal. She even pulled out a needle and thread when a hook on my dress fell off. The food was amazing too! I used her all inclusive package, which covered the flowers, the cake, the photographer, the dj, the food etc. etc. It made for a very smooth planning process!

Our wedding was on September 4th, 2016. Everything was perfect at the Hudson Manor. Melissa Cogliati did a fantastic job running our wedding. The setting is beautiful and perfect for our outdoor ceremony. Melissa took care of every single detail. Planning a wedding at the Hudson Manor was very easy and extremely convenient. I never had to worry about anything related to planning. The ballroom was set up beautifully and the food was great! Everyone loved it. We also had a ton of food, and I never had to worry about running out of food. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The vendors that Melissa works with on a routine basis were great and did a wonderful job. Having a wedding at the Hudson Manor is also budget friendly for as much as you get. They were priced much more competitively versus every other venue we were considering. Very well worth it and a terrific place to have a wedding!

The Hudson Manor/Melissa Cogliati gave us the wedding of our dreams....it was more than we dreamt of! Everything was perfect and the wedding day was straight out of a fairy tale. We can't thank Melissa and her crew enough for the impeccable service, professionalism , and care they showed towards us. There is no other place to celebrate your big day than the Hudson Manor. Hudson Manor was an absolute pleasure to work with! Melissa provides a list of trusted vendors that she has worked which made the process of planning the wedding as stress-free as possible. Anytime we had a question or concern, we would call Melissa and if she didn't answer right away; she called back within minutes! On the day of our wedding she made sure everything went smooth which allowed us to simply enjoy the day (and the food is great!). I can not overstate how pleased we were with Melissa, The Hudson Manor, and the vendors she recommended. Thank You So Much!!!

The Hudson Manor is beautiful and Melissa was such a joy to work with. The process was simple yet the value was tremendous. My husband and I never felt stressed or pressured during the planning process. The vendors that the Hudson Manor uses are amazing and worth every penny. We received excellent professional service.
The venue is lovely and well maintained.
There were great options for additional vendors known to the folks at Hudson Manor and we appreciated getting good referrals for flowers, cake,dessert etc. Our reception meal was very tasty. We always received prompt courteous answers to questions . Day of Wedding we were very grateful that Melissa kept the ball rolling. Large wedding party and 9 children in processional, a big assignment.

Our favorite day at the most memorable venue!

I can’t even begin to explain how happy we are with the Hudson Manor and staff. Melissa was so easy to work with the entire time, she definitely knows what to do and when to do it. It took all the worrying away for my mom and I (the planners)! All inclusive is definitely the way to go! They have great vendors to choose from and Melissa handles it ALL! Makes for a much less stressful time.

The property itself is so beautiful, it’s one of those things that we didn’t want to add much because it was already so breathtaking. I’m over the moon with our entire experience, I want to replay that day again and again.

Thank you Melissa and staff for making our day unforgettable!

I can't write enough good reviews about the Hudson Manor. The property is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and the manor house is gorgeous. Melissa Cogliati (owner/day - of - coordinater) was awesome. Out of the 900+ emails and questions I had for her, she didn't miss a single one. She has an extensive "preferred vendor" list, and they were great! While she may come off a little rigid at first, don't let that fool you. She is incredibly accomodating and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.

The Hudson Manor was an EXCELLENT venue for my wedding. So many things are included in the package, which is such a help. The help Melissa gave me in taking care of so many things that other brides have to worry about was invaluable. I have not stopped getting compliments on the beauty of the venue, how smoothly everything ran and the great food (which is included)! Melissa is on op of EVERYTHING on the wedding day, which was such a stress reliever, as I didnt have to think about much. I would highly recommend this venue and their services!

The only negative is that it is a bit of a drive from Raleigh and people usually drink at weddings so I would suggest setting up a shuttle service or carpooling to help with this.

My daughter and I were really tough customers to please, but Melissa worked with us to help make my daughter's day her dream wedding. The ballroom was set to perfection and was so beautiful. I loved the Hudson Manor. The wedding was beautiful. The food and beverage were excellent. I would highly recommend this venue. The house and grounds have been well maintained. We were invited to several tasting which help make our decision on certain foods, not to mention how much fun they were.

We loved every minute of our wedding at the Hudson Manor! It's a bit of a drive if you're coming from Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, but we felt it was worth every mile. The grounds are quiet and beautiful and the house is gorgeous inside and out. The Cogliati family pays attention to every detail and all of the staff were friendly, kind, and attentive. The food was excellent and we were very happy with the preferred vendors they suggested (cake and DJ). Compared to similar wedding venues in Central-Eastern NC, the Hudson Manor has a lot to offer for the money. Just having Melissa (the owner) helping with everything was a major benefit!

Excellent venue. Having the reception hall on the grounds is extremely convenient. If you want an outdoor wedding (or even an indoor wedding) this is a great place. Melissa (the owner) helps set you up with vendors that she's worked with in the past and allows you to pick amongst them. The grounds are beautiful and lush in the summer. Melissa does what she can to make it uniquely yours and is very kind and experienced. Highly recommended.

We were very impressed with the Hudson Manor and all of what it offered us and our guests. It was truely an all-inclusive experience that allowed us to be less stressed. HM was even able to work with our budget and change some things to meet our needs.
