Professional String Musicians
Thank you, Houston String Music, for playing our favorite Music at our Wedding Ceremony! The Prelude Music while our guests were seated before the Ceremony was very romantic and set the charming aura for our entire evening. The real, live, professional String Quartet definitely captivated all of our guests! -

Totally Lovely Music
The Piano String Trio from Houston String Music provided outstanding music for our Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. They played all of our favorite songs from the gorgeous “Claire de Lune” to Bruna Mars’ “Marry You” and naturally played “Canon in D” which was the Bride’s Processional, of course. Totally lovely! -

Houston String Music String Quartet
We had the Houston String Music String Quartet share in our Wedding Ceremony. They are truly knowledgeable and excellent musicians. Very helpful in selecting the perfect songs for our processionals, recessional, and played a lovely rendition of Hallelujah for our Unity Candle. Elizabeth was very easy to work with, very responsive to all of our questions, and kept in touch throughout our planning period. We highly recommend them. -

Excellent Musicians
It is our pleasure to recommend the musicians from HOUSTON STRING MUSIC. They have played for both of our sons' Wedding Ceremonies and Cocktail hour. They also played for their Rehearsal Dinners the night before. We had a String Trio for one son and a String Quartet for the other. -

Special Music requests
We had the loveliest music for our Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour at the Bell Tower of W. 34th and we want to say THANK YOU to the String Trio musicians from Houston String Music. Not only were they easy to work with, they answered every single question we had, and were never bothered when we contacted them. They always said, “thank you for staying in touch”. They were willing and able to accommodate all of our special requests we made back in September. During the Cocktail Hour we had many older guests who really loved that the trio was able to play some of their oldie requests, too. THANK YOU! -

Real live professional musicians
We were especially thrilled to have REAL, LIVE MUSICIANS from HOUSTON WEDDING STRING MUSIC play for our Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony including prelude before the Ceremony while our guests were seated, & postlude Music, and our Cocktail Hour. HOUSTON WEDDING STRING MUSIC played their own renditions of all of our favorite songs from John Legend, Beatles, and the Cohen “Halleluiah “song was absolutely beautiful and was played during our Unity Candle Ceremony. They were extremely easy to work with and had very pleasant personalities Book them ASAP because they are starting to reserve 2027 dates! -

Elizabeth helped us select the perfect Music for everyone's Processional, including my (the bride) special song for (my) big entrance. The Woodlands Wedding String Music
We are fortunate to have the Houston String Musicians play for our Wedding Ceremony in The Woodlands in September. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of our planning. They prepared everything from the Prelude Music before the Ceremony while our guests were seated to the Postlude music following our Recessional. The music they played was not only beautiful but also everything we had requested. A couple of songs we selected were even ‘last’ minute and they played them too! Very professional and easy to collaborate with these lovely musicians! -

Outstanding Musicians
We are happy to recommend the musicians and music of the original Houston String Music ensembles. Their String Quartet and String Trio have played many time for our Open Houses, Receptions, Christmas Parties, etc. for many years. We are sorry that we never wrote a Review before this but highly recommend these musicians as they are very pleasant to work with, reasonably priced, and very professional in their appearance and manner and of course are very punctual. -

Houston String Music String Trio
The String Trio from HOUSTON STRING MUSIC played for our son’s Wedding Ceremony yesterday and the music was absolutely lovely. Everything from the Prelude Music to their Postlude Music was exceptionally wonderful and set the ambiance for the entire Event! Houston string music's piano quartet
We had the Piano Quartet from Houston String Music play for our outside Garden Wedding Ceremony. The Music was superb, and they were so pleasant and easy to work with. Their professional Keyboard sounded exactly like a Piano and everything was lovely. Canon in D was absolutely beautiful. They were very easy to work with and they truly made our dreams come true! -

Chamber Ensembles
We have had various Chamber Ensembles from Houston String Music play for our Company's Open Houses and Holiday Parties. It is always a pleasure to work with Elizabeth and the wonderful Musicians! I hired a string duo for my wedding ceremony music and they did an awesome job. Elizabeth communicated effectively and quickly throughout the process. Lovely String Duo
We recently attended an outdoor Wedding at a friend's house where a String Duo from HOUSTON STRING MUSIC performed. We are actually serious Patrons of the Arts and attend many, many Symphony Concerts, etc. and sincerely loved their Music. They did a wonderful job despite how they were treated and were expected to set-up outside even though there was on-and-off rain. No provisions were made for them to play under a covered Gazebo area. Consequently, they had to move back and forth from the Gazebo so many times that I finally got up to help them move their equipment. During the Ceremony they had to stand in the back behind all of the guests and then run back to their instruments & music to play the Recessional. They went beyond the call of duty and the Music was lovely!!! -

String Duo
My friend had an outdoor Wedding Ceremony and a String Duo from HOUSTON STRING MUSIC played very lovely Music for the Prelude, all of the Processionals, Recessional, and Postlude Music. I honestly felt sorry for this String Duo, however, because they were expected to play out in the wet grass when it was sprinkling! The planner finally allowed them to sit in a tiny corner of the covered Gazebo after moving them back and forth. She had incorrectly told them when to start playing and then stopped their playing at all of the wrong times. We felt so sorry for the String Duo being moved around so many times during the Ceremony. Actually, another guest got up and helped them move their equipment! Despite how they were treated, they kept smiling and we enjoyed their Music! -

Outdoor Garden Wedding Ceremony
I recently had the opportunity to share in an outdoor wedding ceremony where the lovely String Duo from Houston String Music managed to play wonderfully touching music despite the drizzly, damp conditions. Regardless of the pandemonium which ensued, the String Duo kept their professional, courteous composure and continued with their charming music. The person in charge was oblivious to the very expensive, exquisite instruments played by the String Duo and decided that they should not sit and play under the covered gazebo. Instead, they had to sit in a wet, muddy field next to the gazebo. When it started to sprinkle again the String Duo was finally allowed to move to the side of the covered gazebo. Unfortunately, this naïve organizer kept interrupting and stopping the musicians’ playing of the processional music and even made them move on and off the gazebo during the ceremony. Even though they had difficult circumstances, the very accomplished and skillful String Duo were exceptionally first-class. -

Houston String Music are all true Artists and so congenial with which to work! Everybody was so impressed to see and hear live, professional String Musicians play Can’t Help Falling in Love, Canon in D, A Thousand Years, Only Time, Over the Rainbow, as well as Classical Music! -

Wonderful String Quartet Musicians
Houston String Music's String Quartet played for our Wedding Ceremony, and there could have been nothing 'classier' than having a real live String Quartet. These wonderful Musicians set the mood for the entire day with their beautiful Prelude Music before the Ceremony began. They professionally combined traditional Classical Music with popular Contemporary Music. Houston String Music is very enjoyable and knowledgeable to work with and have been astute to our every wishes. -

Houston String Music String Quartet
We had a genuine, live Piano Quartet from Houston String Music entertain for our outdoor Wedding Ceremony. They brought their own professional Keyboard which sounded exactly like a Piano. Actually, for “The Swan”, they had it sound as though we had a Harpist playing. What a lovely group of Musicians and so pleasant and easy to work with. Truly a dream come true for me! -

Houston String Music
We especially admire not only Houston String Music’s talented Musicians but also their integrity and their sincere reassurance that our Wedding Music be excellent. They understand that this is our Special Day and have given us several options such as their String Quartet, String Trio, and even a Harp & Violin, Cello Trio as the keyboardist would not be available. They went far beyond any other group of Musicians would have gone to substitute their keyboardist with another Musician of our choice. We had the Harpist plus Violin and Cello play for our Ceremony on Saturday and the Music was totally awesome. This is truly a remarkable group of Musicians! -

They were fantastic! We had many custom selections and they pulled them off beautifully! If you are looking for a string group to play some not so typical pieces, these are your group. We had them play Cold Play and the Mission Impossible theme. Everyone thought they were wonderful! -
