Hotel Valencia Riverwalk is a beauty, but the real reason I wanted to write a review is their staff. They are the friendliest and most helpful people ever. Thank you especially to Elise Medina who helped us organize our wedding. It was truly the wedding of our dreams. I cannot think of anything we would have changed. It was all thanks to this staff and Elise. We upped our budget a bit once we saw this venue and we did not regret any part of it. Shout out to the chef and bar staff that kept us full and happy. This venue is worth what they charge and more.

Hotel Valencia is an excellent venue to host your wedding or event!! My husband and I held our reception at Hotel Valencia and worked with Jasmin. She was incredible! She helped us with a large portion of the wedding planning, made sure that our entire party was happy with their experience, and even gave us several unexpected benefits along the way. For example, the hotel/Jasmin upgraded our suite to the Presidential (although this of course can't be guaranteed for all wedding couples). I highly recommend reserving a suite because they are so worth it, especially when getting ready on your wedding day! The rooms, and the hotel more generally, are absolutely gorgeous. Additionally, one of the parts I loved the most was that they don't do more than two weddings in a day, so we basically had the hotel to ourselves. This meant that the staff could be extra attentive and our guests were very comfortable. They really go above and beyond and I would highly recommend selecting them for your event.

I worked with Stephanie to gather all of my options. She was prompt, kind and empathetic to my situation (my wedding was all planned in Puerto Rico, prior to Maria ruining everything). I ended up choosing to not have my wedding San Antonio, but had I chosen to Hotel Valencia is the way to go. Gorgeous hotel with smart, helpful staff.

Very easy to work with. Staff is excellent.. especially Stacy Seaborn.
- the ballroom has a pillar in the middleague of it that is hard to hide, but that is the only drawback.
- ideal for weddings under 120 people

This venue was phenomenal! The staff was friendly, accommodating and great!
We had a small party of 18 people including the groom and bride. We used one room for the ceremony and reception and it was perfect!
The food was awesome, the service was really great, which made the day more memorable. Even the breakfast crew was great! I would highly recommend Hotel Valencia as a destination wedding venue. The event coordinator Brittany was awesome, she helped me plan the entire wedding and stay for my spouse and family from out of state.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel and staff.

Firstly, the hotel is beautiful, with amazing areas to make your day incredibly special - A beautiful courtyard for the wedding ceremony which is so romantic, a lovely modern but romantic bar area with amazingly friendly bar tenders to mention just a couple. The setting right on the riverwalk is so central, but yet so private.

Secondly, the food is amazing. They took the time to understand what I wanted, made great suggestions, and on the day the food was beyond fantastic!

The staff - To the bar tenders, the food servers, the catering team, the management - I owe the biggest thanks to all these people. They all played a part in making my day wonderful. However I have to make two specific shout outs to Stacy Seaborn and Brittany Ruhmel. They saved my wedding day. I had a terrible wedding planner who on my wedding day had not got the paid for and promised cake, flowers and many other things, & also went missing for the entire afternoon of the wedding showing up AFTER the celebrations were meant to begin, 20 minutes before the ceremony. Stacy and Britney literally took over, organised the set up for the pre wedding cocktails, the ceremony, etc... as well as attending to me. They pulled together with the rest of the catering team and sorted everything seamlessly! If it hadn't been for them the day would have been ruined. My husband and I owe our complete appreciation to these two particular people, their team & hotel.

I was a photographer here on March 19th for a wedding. This was my first time working at Hotel Valencia on the Riverwalk. Stacy and the team at Hotel Valencia were excellent to work with, great team! I look forward to working with them again in the future! Thanks!

We are very happy to review Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. We booked Hotel Valencia for our ceremony and reception. There were a few changes with staff before our actual event which caused stress however once Stacy Seaborn came on board, stress was gone. Stacy is very experienced, professional and provided excellent customer service. Stacy was very responsive via phone and email and she exceeded our expectations as a Director of Catering. Stacy was very personable, and always made us feel like a priority. We will never be able to thank her enough for the support and assistance during our wedding planning. The hotel is so beautiful and the staff at the hotel was always very professional and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and everything from our drinks, to the services included in our package made our wedding day special. We recommend Hotel Valencia to any couple that loves a romantic setting, a committed staff and an unforgettable experience.

One step inside the hotel and we knew this was the one! It's modern. It's beautiful. It's one stop shopping for your wedding day. The ceremony was held in the courtyard which has beautiful greenery, a cascading waterfall with fire and nice acoustics. The reception was held in their grand ballroom which we closed off half of to make the dinner more intimate for our guests. The hotel provided a wonderful coordinator who was there for every step of the way. Her experience and knowledge helped guide us for all of the important decisions. On the wedding day, the hotel was very accommodating to our needs and the needs of our guests. The affair was simply beautiful. If you're looking for someplace special, near the Riverwalk-- this is the one! Our pictures speak for themselves. The hotel even allowed us to take our engagement pictures inside, which turned out phenomenally. We couldn't be happier, and we can't wait to spend our anniversaries for years to come back where it all started.

Although there were a few hiccups....everything was still perfect. It was a day I'll always remember. Thank You.

Hotel Valencia in San Antonio was the perfect setting for our quasi-destination wedding. We live in the DC metro area but I am from San Antonio, so we planned our wedding from a distance. It is as gorgeous a hotel as it looks to be online and has an even more dramatic and romantic ambiance when you're inside. We held our ceremony in the courtyard and the reception in the Verona Room and it was perfect. The Catering Manager, Carolina Lujan was very responsive and professional, however, the hotel policies are pretty set in stone so what you see is what you get, don't expect much wiggle room on pricing. Overall, a great experience and we would do again in a heartbeat!

This is the most beautiful hotel on the Riverwalk, in my opinion. I cannot rave enough about how absolutely stunning and beautiful our wedding was. We had to hold it indoors at the last moment due to weather (the ceremony was supposed to be held in the courtyard and our cocktail hour on the terrace), but the indoor ceremony, which was help in the lobby space near the bar, was mesmerizing. We had many difficulties with the event management due to unexpected and uncommunicated staff changes, but the hotel pulled everything together which made our day a true "dream" wedding. We received great value for our money, and it was worth every headache and every penny spent.
