I went to Playa Fiesta as a guest for my friends' wedding in 2024, and my now husband and I had such an amazing time that when we got engaged, we decided we wanted to go back, even if that meant waiting 20 months for our wedding to happen. WORTH IT!!
I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this venue. The location is incredible, right on the water and somewhat secluded, but with easy and close access to town. The rooms are unbelievably clean. and most are spacious and have an ocean view.
The experience of renting out a small boutique hotel for only your guests is truly a special experience, and the perfect way for all your guests to get to know one another.
Although the venue and location itself is amazing, what really makes the experience at Playa Fiesta unforgettable is the staff. First of all, the planning process with Lindsay and Gabi couldn't have been easier. They have their system down to a tee and work like a well oiled machine. I don't think there was a single email that I sent without a response within the hour. In addition, the on site servers and bartenders are one of a kind, keeping drinks full, guests happy, and remembering everyone's names.

My husband and I got married at Hotel Playa Fiesta on May 1st, and it was truly better than anything we could have ever imagined. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into our own private paradise. Spending five unforgettable days surrounded by our closest family and friends was an absolute dream.
Every single detail was perfect. The staff treated us like royalty, the location is breathtaking, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere was pure magic. It’s hard to put into words just how special this place is.
A huge thank you to Lindsay and her amazing team. She has thought of absolutely everything when it comes to planning a wedding. From start to finish, they handled every detail seamlessly, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment with our loved ones. The "go to" one stop shop
Playa fiesta is not your ordinary wedding venue. It's an experience, not just for the bride and groom but for everyone in attendance. Putting together a destination wedding is quite the obstacle. The staff here makes the entire experience stress free and ENJOYABLE! I cannot recommend them enough. We had so much fun as guests at our friends wedding that my now wife and I decided to bring it back. If you are looking for a stunning venue that accommodates all of your requests, look no further. My husband and I got married at Playa Fiesta in March 2026. Everything about the experience was absolutely amazing, from start to finish. I can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!
Team
First off, the AMAZING team! I’ll start with Lindsey and Adam, the owners of the resort: they are a DREAM to work with. We are so grateful for how magical they helped our wedding be. And once we were at Playa Fiesta, we simultaneously felt this great combination of being ‘part of the gang’ but also absolutely special/pampered. Everyone who works there is at the top of their game and SO kind. They really make you feel so supported throughout the whole process. I was blown away by their hospitality.
Location
We had guests who wanted a bit of everything. Some wanted to get out and explore Puerto Vallarta, and PF is perfect for that with Zona Romantica being super easy to get to (about a 10 min drive). Others wanted to stay on the property and relax, which was also great especially with the property being right on a beautiful beach!
The Space
Playa Fiesta’s vibes are impeccable. Having the whole resort for just your wedding group is a gamechanger. It made everyone want to instantly get to know other guests because there was no guessing that everyone there was there for our wedding. The shared spaces are beautifully designed with plenty of little alcoves and comfy couches for private moments, while still being part of a larger beautiful space. Every room is gorgeous, feeling modern but also perfect for Mexico. It felt like they also took maintenance very seriously, because the property was meticulously maintained. The restaurant was delicious!! Honestly one of my favorite parts was breakfast every morning, sooo good!
Choose your own adventure
The Playa Fiesta team supports in planning everything from start to finish. Their method is very ‘choose your own adventure’ where they offer different vendors to work with and “add on” experiences for your guests. They also are really supportive of bringing in your own unique elements/surprises and helped bring them to life. In terms of their vendors, they do have a policy of only working with vendors they recommend, which at first I wasn’t the biggest fan of. But after experiencing everything that goes into planning the week, I now understand how important it is to Playa Fiesta to make sure your experience at your wedding is top notch, and they guarantee that through their wonderful vendors. Our florals were stunning. The classical duo was amazing. Our photographer was wonderful. Our videographer killed it. Everyone was the best!
The best guest experience
The whole experience felt like a luxury vacation for all our guests, while allowing them a ton of time to get to know each other in advance of the big day and also time afterwards. We are so happy with all the connections that were made because they were given the time for their friendships to really grow. It’s one of our favorite things after our wedding: seeing all the friendships and connections that resulted from it.
Considering the cost
I know a big component of choosing a wedding venue is the cost. A good thing about PF is the ‘choose your own adventure’ style because it helps you to pick what works for your budget. That said, I must admit, Playa Fiesta was a splurge for us from a budget perspective. We ended up spending more than we thought we would on our wedding BUT the best part is: I have zero buyer’s remorse. The week was the best experience of my life so far and every penny was well worth it.

One of a kind destination wedding
We booked this venue sight unseen risky yes but something about the idea to put all of our family and friends in one place for a destination wedding felt right!
I am so happy I went with my gut because Hotel Playa Fiesta was beyond my wildest dreams! The venue itself is magical you are just steps from the ocean and each room is spacious and clean with breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta.
A very special thank you goes to Lindsay and Gabi, the dynamic duo who really brought my wedding vision to life. They are amazing at what they do so responsive to any and all questions nothing is too big or small for them to tackle. On wedding day they were a well oiled machine everything felt so effortless and as a Bride I was able to enjoy myself and embrace the day!
The food is incredible our guests still message me about the Chilaquiles in the morning and the 4 course dinner we served at the wedding! The wedding cake I still dream about to this day.
The staff is what makes this place amazing they take the time to know each guests name and drink order they make sure to keep the energy and vibes up the whole time.
To any Brides that are uncertain is this place to good to be true I get it but go with your gut take this as a sign you won’t regret it!

From the moment we committed to Playa Fiesta, the service was truly top tier. Every question we had was answered quickly, the team was incredibly accommodating, and they helped bring my wife’s dream wedding to life in every possible way.
Booking a destination wedding venue without seeing it in person can definitely feel stressful, but once we visited a year before the wedding, we immediately knew we made the right decision. The views from every part of the property are absolutely breathtaking and the atmosphere feels intimate, peaceful, and unforgettable.
Our wedding day was executed flawlessly. The Playa Fiesta team are true experts at what they do. They have a calming presence, kept the wedding party prepared, made every guest feel taken care of, and ensured the entire event flowed so smoothly that none of us wanted the night to end.

A dream wedding venue!!
I was a bride at Hotel Playa Fiesta, and I can 100% say picking it as our venue was one of the best decisions!! If you're even considering having you're wedding here or going as a guest, you absolutely should
The venue itself is gorgeous! so intimate, peaceful, and right on the beach. everyone loved the size because there was no coordinating which restaurant to go to, or when to meet up by the pool - they could just step out of their room and have it all be our group. It was especially perfect for those with kids because they didn't have to miss out on anything. The staff went above and beyond for the kids too, even making them slushies by the pool! 🥹 I was really nervous because my family doesn’t travel much, but I truly could not have asked for a better place!!!
The food: Incredible! Every single guest raved about it and I still get comments that the wedding cake was the best cake people have ever had. For guests with allergies, the team proactively met with each person on day one to ensure they were fully accommodated, which meant so much to us
The planning: Soso easy, tailored, and 10000x better than you'll get with any other location. The staff was super responsive and everything was handled through the hotel and for outside vendors, they had a list you could choose from so you didn't have to find your own photographer, etc. The selection was super good so we never felt the need to look elsewhere. Special shout out to Evengia our photographer and JJ our florist because their work was STUNNING
The wedding weekend itself: Truly unforgettable. Like a literal movie. Everything went perfectly and so many guests told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. the DJ kept everyone on the dance floor all night which was what we cared about the most 😊

1000000% Reccomend Playa Fiesta for an INCREDIBLE Experience
My husband and I got married at Playa Fiesta in March 2026, and it was honestly a dream from start to finish. To this day, friends still tell us that experience set the bar way too high for any future weddings—they’re not wrong. It wasn’t just a single day, it was multiple days of being together in an incredible place, and it all felt really special.
As a queer couple, feeling comfortable and celebrated was huge for us—and we felt completely at home the entire time. We worked with the owners, Adam and Lindsay, for about two years leading up to the wedding. They’ve built such a thoughtful, well-run process with structured workbooks that guide you through planning without it ever feeling overwhelming. My husband is definitely the planner between us, and between his vision and the well-oiled machine they’ve created at PF, everything came together seamlessly.
The location is kind of perfect. It’s essentially on a private beach, about 10 minutes (an easy, uninterrupted 3-mile drive) south of Zona Romántica. It gave people the flexibility to either pop into town or fully unplug and stay at the property. The rooms are stunning—clearly a labor of love from Adam and Lindsay over many years. You wake up to the sound of waves, and that’s basically the only noise you hear. Housekeeping was incredible—everything was always spotless—and they were unbelievably accommodating when it came to all the little details and ideas we had.
One of the best parts is that PF has a curated list of vendors they trust, so you’re not starting from scratch. We had great options for photography, flowers, and videography—and even hired a drag queen for a brunch one day, which was a highlight. We also did massages for guests, brought in fire dancers for one event, had a mariachi band for another, and a beautiful string ensemble for the ceremony. It all just worked, and none of it felt stressful to pull together.
Yes, it takes some planning—but it’s absolutely worth it. The value for what you get is honestly great, especially considering the level of service. A lot of the staff have been there for years, and it shows—they’re on top of everything and make you feel genuinely taken care of the entire time.
And maybe the most special part: having all of your people together in one place for multiple days. We had about 75 guests staying on-site and another ~20 nearby, and it gave everyone real time to connect. People who had never met before left feeling like close friends. That’s something you just don’t get with a typical one-day wedding.

We got married here with 65 guests and it was the best experience from start to finish. The Playa Fiesta team knows how to execute at the highest level from day 1 of wedding planning to the last guest checking out. The hotel is so amazing, it feels like you own the place while you are there. Nothing else compares- trust me we looked at like 15 houses and decided this was the way to go. The wedding planning is down to a science and they know the things that a bride will want and need before you even realize you do. The hotel staff, from check-in, waiters, cleaning crew and maintenance are all so friendly and take care of you at a level of Four Seasons Resorts. The food is so good you won't want to leave to eat anywhere else. My wife and I had the most incredible time at Hotel Playa Fiesta, I still find myself reminiscing about the weekend. Afterwards we both agreed that we would absolutely do it all over again, and we will definitely try to convince other couples getting married to do their wedding at Playa Fiesta so we can get a chance to go there again. Lindsay and Gabi were such a huge help with the wedding planning, they kept us organized and guided us through everything, pointing out some things that we didn’t think of, and were proactive and patient all the way.
It’s a beautiful venue that’s perfectly set up for a large celebration – all our guests raved about the place and how it was right on the beach, and loved spending time at the pool too. We heard from locals that the stretch of beach right outside PF is the nicest in Puerto Vallarta, and we agree wholeheartedly. The rooms are well laid out, very comfortable, and provided a nice respite from the festivities of the weekend.
The team was incredible – I can’t say enough about how much we felt taken care of all weekend. Huge shout out to Lindsay, Gabi, Tammy, Lily for helping us with the logistics of the wedding and the entire weekend. I asked for a TV to be set up during our last dinner for our guests to watch a NFL playoff game and they came through in a big way. Service staff all over the hotel was super attentive and helpful, even offering recommendations for excursions and restaurants etc. around Puerto Vallarta. The food all weekend was delicious, and they did a great job accommodating our guests’ dietary restrictions.

We just spent the week for our best friends wedding. I cannot praise the staff enough for how extremely coordinated and professional they are! Leading up to the trip, I had spoke with Lindsay about my husbands dietary needs. We were able to coordinate meals for the week, and not two minutes upon check in, she was at our door with the floor manager to go over everything for the week! Every single staff member was an essential part of making my week so wonderful. I cannot praise this resort more. If you are on the fence, just do it! We attended a wedding at Playa Fiesta in 2023 and had an absolute blast. When it came time to plan our own wedding, all of the venues we looked at couldn't come close to our experience at Playa. From the minute we decided on Playa Fiesta as our wedding venue, Lindsay and Gabi made the planning process an absolute breeze. They have gotten throwing incredible parties down to a science. All of the vendors that they recommended were phenomenal and it was so nice not having to worry about timelines and coordinating a million things at once - that was all taken care of. As a same-sex couple, we felt completely comfortable throughout every step of the process and with every single staff member we interacted with.
The week of our wedding was absolutely perfect. You can't beat having everyone you love together for an amazing beach vacation. The rooms are stunning, clean, HUGE, and so unique. Every single staff member at Playa Fiesta is a fantastic human being, and it was awesome to see many familiar faces still working there from the first time we had visited. The food, both for the wedding events and from the on-site restaurant, was delicious and they were able to accommodate many different dietary restrictions without issue. You cannot beat the location, far enough away from downtown to feel private, but just a few minutes down the road from Zona Romantica. Almost every room had an amazing view and you could fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves every night.
The actual wedding day was completely stress-free. Any issues that came up were handled by Lindsay or Gabi before it even came to our attention. The attention to detail was unmatched. Our guests are still raving that it was the best wedding that they had ever attended! Hotel Playa Fiesta has such a special place in my heart and I would not have changed a thing about my wedding experience. Groom here. We just had our wedding at Hotel Playa Fiesta in the first week of January 2026 and it was incredible. We (and our 75 guests) had such an amazing time. The location, property, staff, food, rooms… everything - was beyond even our (well-researched and well-planned) dreams. It was truly magical.
My bride is originally from central Mexico, we live together in Boston. We got engaged in October 2023, started the planning process together around March 2024, and booked Hotel Playa Fiesta in June 2024. After a few months I largely took over, so that my bride could focus on other things while I did what I’m best at (I’m a program manager by trade).
We used Tripadvisor to research venues and we chose Hotel Playa Fiesta for 3 key reasons:
1. We wanted to have our wedding in Puerto Vallarta (easier for Mexican family and friends to travel to than Boston, excellent weather, beautiful beaches, fun city, safe) and we loved the idea of having a private hotel all to ourselves/our group. We loved the fact that HPF is owner-operated and not a large corporate entity.
2. Incredible food and drink was important to us, and some of our guests expressed concern about getting ‘mexico belly’ on the trip - we wanted a place where travelers with sensitive stomachs could largely avoid any worries about this AND experience excellent food (especially mexican dishes/flavors.
3. We wanted a hotel in a beautiful location with beach access. Playa Fiesta has all this and more. It’s located a short drive south of the city, which gives it a perfect mix of seclusion/natural beauty & convenience/feeling like you are still very close to the action.
The Hotel Playa Fiesta team was incredibly supportive throughout the year-and-a-half long planning process. Adam and Lindsay (the owners) are a true power-couple and were able to answer my never-ending deluge of questions with so much grace, humility, and care - they did an excellent job keeping us informed (and sane) throughout the process.
What stood out most were the lengths that Gabi and Lindsay (the wedding planning duo at HPF) stopped at nothing to make our dream wedding a reality. From odd requests to a few special rooming accommodations to reaching out to new and unique vendors (like a visit from a donkey, and a ‘stealth’ caricaturist!) they were extremely flexible and sensitive to our (and our guests) wants and needs.
One of our initial worries with choosing a hotel in the area was that the place wouldn’t be ‘mexican enough’ for the very bi-cultural wedding we were aiming for. We worried that in selecting a place that was comfortable enough for our gringo contingent, we might alienate some of our Mexican friends and family. This was not an issue at all with Hotel Playa Fiesta. The team and property at HPF were all wonderfully sensitive to the entirety of our American, Mexican, and International guests and to our desire to truly ‘marry’ the two cultures over the course of the wedding week. It was truly a special event and all-around welcoming atmosphere.
Food options were all amazing, ranging from the exotic to the local to the familiar-and-comfortable, no matter what your group looks like, I’m sure HPF’s food will wow you. When you book with HPF you’ll choose a package option which determines how many and what kind of meals will be included as part of guest’s stay. There’s also a-la-carte menus at the hotel for additional snacks, lunches, dinners, and deserts. Everything we ate at Hotel Playa Fiesta was delicious, and more than a few guests came by to let me know how excited they were to see tasty and healthful salad and vegetable options (seriously - they were all amazing!). I cannot say enough about how flexible the team at HPF is with requests. They were able to swamp items around between the different menus to fit our tastes, make delicious accommodations for all sorts of varied dietary restrictions, and even made some custom items designed to showcase the flavors of the bride’s hometown in central mexico. Our guests ranted and raved about the food the entire time we were there and a common regret we heard was that people wished they had ordered even more of the delicious food.
Having an open bar was also important to us, and the setup at Hotel Playa Fiesta was stunning. We had an open bar for the entire 5-day event - Charly (the head bartender) and the team are so much fun and so helpful. Whether it’s trying out a new cocktail, customizing something to your liking, or making exciting and delicious mocktails, they were always one-step ahead and extremely accommodating. Our group loved chatting with the entire staff, who are all warm, attentive, and friendly (and bilingual). Charly, Ernesto, Tammy, Pascual, and everyone on the team - thank you so much!
About half of our group of 75 was bilingual, half spoke only english, and a handful of folks in our group spoke only spanish - no one in the group felt out of place, and the whole week was just a loving and friendly vibe all-around. It was so nice to walk around the pool area (where you’ll likely spend most of your time) and hear multiple languages being used, guests translating for each other, and lots of laughter. We were truly impressed with how quickly the entire team at Hotel Playa Fiesta learned everyone’s names, and how welcoming and friendly everyone was with our group.
About midway through the process, when I was concerned about how mixing these two groups might go, Adam counseled me that the vibe at HPF is usually like a big, 5-day backyard barbecue: people quickly make friends, old friends reunite, and it’s generally just a great, relaxed time. Adam nailed it with this description. It was incredible for us to see folks from our two different worlds mingling and hanging out together like neighbors and old buddies. It was such a lovely and love-filled experience.
We did our best to be around to greet our guests upon their arrival at the hotel, in part because we loved seeing everyone’s jaw drop when they saw the place. The rooms, the common space, the beach and surrounding area were all gorgeous and immaculate.
We planned a few fun activities on the property throughout the week, including optional package items like fire dancers, a live mexican music trio, karaoke, and salsa dancing; as well as a few custom events that we brought ourselves like a big pile of board games, pool toys/floats, and temporary tattoos (which were a huge hit!). Even though we designed the week so that folks could have an excellent time without ever leaving the property, many of our guests also found time throughout the week to take an uber in to the city (5 minutes and usually under $15) to walk the Malecón (Puerto Vallarta’s excellent concrete boardwalk) and do some sight-seeing/shopping/clubbing; and we had several groups go out to the nearby ‘Los Arcos’ marine reserve to snorkel.
One of my wife’s favorite things about the property is the nearby man-made beach lagoon. Well-placed large rocks create a buffer against any rough water coming to the shore, and creates a ‘natural’ ocean swimming pool right there on the beach. (This was my wife’s go-to spot throughout the week; even on the morning of our wedding day, she opted to spend less time in the makeup chair and more time out in the water)
As for the wedding day, it was a smooth and seamless affair with not a dry eye in the house - (and seriously Lindsay - thank you for the extra tissues! So many people let me know they were appreciated!). The sunset ceremony was so incredibly beautiful. Lindsay, Gabi, and the minister we selected (Tete) bent over backwards to make everything work like a dream. We opted for a spiritual ceremony (we signed our paperwork back home a few months prior) and chose to do an additional ‘shell ceremony’ and a [symbolic] paperwork signing (something we’ve seen at all the Mexican weddings we’ve attended) both of which we customised. We didn’t know this when we planned our wedding, but the January timing came with an exciting extra surprise: when we arrived at HPF we learned that a pod of whales had been spotted making regular morning visits to the bay just in front of the hotel. They even showed up during our ceremony!
Our guests continue to reach out to us to tell us how much they enjoyed the experience, with many saying that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended.
A couple of quick notes/things to consider for other couples that are thinking of going with HPF:
The planning process is highly email-based, so make sure that you are well equipped to see, respond to, and keep track of emails with HPF’s team. Set a calendar reminder to check your email about once a month, then once a week in the 2-6 months before the wedding, then daily in the last month before the wedding. HPF’s specialty is weddings, so they’ve got this down to a science - and a handful of tailored spreadsheets that you’ll receive, fill out, and send back to them every few months throughout the planning process. As a natural planner and type-A person, these spreadsheets were a godsend for me.
The most difficult part of the process, for us, was coordinating our guests’ bookings and their flights/travel. An international destination wedding is no joke, so be prepared to do a bit of cat-herding when it comes to getting your guests to book everything and send you their flight details (do yourself a favor and collect this right away). A solid guest-tracking spreadsheet where we kept all this info was extremely helpful for us and made everything much smoother.
ChatGPT was an excellent co-pilot in the planning process for us: we used it for assigning out the rooms at the hotel, setting up the seating/table chart for the wedding night, and answering a bazillion questions about wedding planning/mexico/you-name-it. Don’t overlook these extremely helpful (and customisable to your needs) tools in your wedding planning journey - HOWEVER, make sure that you’re first and foremost communicating with the team at HPF and asking them your questions and letting them in on your thought process/wants/expectations for your big day: their expertise from 20+ years in business was invaluable and solved more than a few problems that arose from us/chatgpt making assumptions.
The pictures online simply do not do it justice - this place is gorgeous and the work that the team puts into it takes it over the top. Every detail was well thought through and executed.
Local Suit/Dress rental options were not plentiful/easy for us to access - we’re glad we brought these items from home rather than trying to pick them up locally in Mexico. (I know most folks will bring their suits/dresses from home, but I figured I’d share this tip for any others like us who were traveled around for a couple weeks in Mexico before arriving at HPF)
Your guests are gonna take a million pictures of this place and each other throughout the week: set up a shared photo album (we used Google Photos) so that people can upload and download at their own speed and with little oversight needed from you. We used a whatsapp group to send out the link to the photo album and other helpful information throughout the month-or-so leading up to the wedding and during the wedding week.
When selecting our package, we had the option to book a block of rooms a day or two early at HPF. A group of about 20-25 of our total 75 guests took the option to arrive a day early and all were glad that they did (if anything, I wish we had gone for 2 extra days!). If your group and your budget can accommodate the extra time, I highly recommend it.
In summary: I strongly recommend Hotel Playa Fiesta to any couple seeking a gorgeous, intimate, and relaxed beach-front wedding in Mexico. The location, the property, and especially the team at Hotel Playa Fiesta are all second-to-none truly special. You will not regret it.

We first experienced Playa Fiesta in 2022 as guests at a wedding, and from that very first visit we knew it was something special. So much so, that when we got engaged, I didn’t look at a single other venue, and I was so right in making that choice.
From nearly two years of planning with Lindsay, Gabi, and Tami, we truly could not have asked for a better experience. Their communication was always prompt, kind, and incredibly thoughtful, with an attention to detail that made every step feel seamless. That same level of care carried through from planning straight into our wedding week. There was genuinely not a single moment in the process that felt stressful, and that is entirely thanks to them.
It also speaks volumes about Lindsay and Adam as owners to have such an incredibly loyal team. Some staff members have been with Playa Fiesta for over 20 years. You can truly feel how valued and appreciated everyone is, and that sense of care translates directly into the love, pride, and attention they put into their work each and every day.
Now onto the wedding itself, because wow! The minute we arrived at Playa Fiesta, it instantly felt like being welcomed home. Between the breathtaking location and the warmth of the staff, there truly is not a single detail missed. When you’re getting married, you know it’s a once-in-a-lifetime moment, but choosing to get married at Playa Fiesta felt almost as important as choosing the partner standing next to me.
The time we had with our guests, combined with the love and care from the staff, made it feel like we were starting our marriage surrounded by nothing but warmth, joy, and intention. Our guests and families could not stop raving about Playa Fiesta. The intimate nature of the setting, the incredible food, the service, and the constant attention to detail. These are the things we are still talking about long after returning home, and they are exactly what drew us back to Playa Fiesta, this time as bride and groom.
It was truly the most memorable and special week of my life. Leaving was emotional because everyone at Playa Fiesta genuinely feels like family.
Without a doubt, we will be back for a reunion. We are all already desperate to return to Playa Fiesta, and I know it will always hold a very special place in our hearts. -

Our wedding at Hotel Playa Fiesta was absolutely magical. Each and every team member ensures the bride and groom and guests are enjoying their time. We got married at Playa Fiesta on 12/12/25 and we could not have imagined a more perfect wedding experience, and that is entirely because of the incredible team here!!! Lindsay and Adam, the owners, have created something so magical and special here! If this is the only part you read - stop searching for the perfect destination venue, this is it!
From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make us, and our guests, feel completely taken care of. Every single person was kind, attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in making our wedding week unforgettable. The level of service was exceptional, and our guests are still talking about how amazing everyone was!! Pascual, Ernesto, Pato, Charly, Arturo, Jorge, Manuel, Gabi... I'm sure I missed someone unintentionally, but the entire team worked so well together for a one-of-a-kind experience! Be sure to try Pascual's special drink - the Orange Brazilian!
The hotel is obviously stunning; pictures don't do it justice. The rooms are spotless, and you couldn't find one with a bad view even if you tried! Having the place just for our guests, for the entire time, created the most fun and dynamic environment. The food was to die for! The drinks - delicious and never stopped flowing!
Things that we chose with our package that stood out: (1) the fire dancers and drummers, (2) the classical duo for the cocktail hour before the reception/dinner, they were unreal; imagine being in a Bridgerton episode, but better; (3) fireworks - it created such a special moment for us as a couple and for the guests; (4) the massages, our guests are still talking about how they were the best massages they'd ever gotten; (5) the IV service - we didn't think we'd need it, but it was a life saver for some of our guests on Saturday!
Another person that needs a major shoutout is the DJ!!! That man DELIVERED (he ate and left no crumbs, or whatever the cool kids are saying nowadays)! He read the crowd so well that every time you thought you'd get a break to get a drink, he would play another banger! I don't think we stopped dancing and singing for at least 2 hours! There were a lot of raspy voices on Saturday morning haha
And then there is Lindsay - an absolute angel! She was our wedding planner and made my life so much easier. I have a demanding job that left very little time for wedding planning (especially a destination wedding), but Lindsay handled every detail with calm confidence, organization, and care! She was incredibly, and impressively, responsive, thoughtful, and proactive, and I always felt like I was in the best hands possible. There was no curve ball I threw at her that she didn't knock out of the park (and trust me, I threw many!!!!). She brought my dream wedding to life and made it seem so effortless!!! If I could bottle up and distribute "Lindsay Energy", I would be a millionaire. Because of her, I was able to actually fully relax on our wedding week knowing everything would be taken care of and executed flawlessly. I think that Gabi and Tammy played a huge part in that as well. They were there when I woke up until I went to bed and made sure that everything went off without a hitch - not just during the wedding, but the entire week.
I highly recommend Playa Fiesta for your wedding! I left the resort feeling like I was leaving my family. If I could relive my wedding week, I would do it here every single time! We waited almost two years for our specific date, and it was 1000% worth the wait. Our wedding week was truly magical from start to finish. I’m a detail-oriented planner who loves to host events, so I was nervous about pulling off a destination wedding while still including all my personal touches. Lindsay, Adam, and Gabi made the process not only stress-free, but fun!
From the moment we booked in April 2023 until our wedding week in February 2025, everything was seamless. It wasn’t just magical for us — our 80 guests are still talking about Playa Fiesta! Many said it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and a few even joked that their kids will get married there one day.

A Dream Wedding at Playa Fiesta - Beyond All Expectations
I recently had the pleasure of getting married at Playa Fiesta and I truly cannot express how magical the entire experience was. From the moment we began planning with Lindsay, Gabi, and Adam, the team at PF made everything seamless, stress-free, and so personal! They didn't just host our wedding - they curated it with heart, attention to detail and genuine care.
The hotel itself is stunning - intimate, boutique-style luxury perched right on the ocean with the most breathtaking sunsets and whale sightings galore. It was so nice having everyone gather at one pool...it gave my husband and I the opportunity to easily mingle and visit with everyone and also gave everyone the chance to meet and get to know each other better before the actual wedding day. Every room is beautiful, and our guests were blown away by the comfort, service, and incredible atmosphere. We had our own private paradise for the entire week. One of our guests on the last day sat there trying to think of something she didn't like about the resort and couldn't come up with anything.
What makes PF truly extraordinary though is the staff. Each person, from the coordinators to the servers to the chefs to the cleaning staff to everyone working magic behind the scenes, they all treated us like family. They anticipated every need, accommodated every request and made our entire wedding party feel so cared for. The food was exceptional (still dreaming of that french toast), the drinks never stopped flowing (highly recommend Charlie's revolution drinks), and the vibe was pure joy from start to finish.
Our wedding day itself was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. Every moment and detail was considered and taken care of. The hotel is so so beautiful that you can really take a less is more approach with decorating depending on your budget! My biggest priorities for decorations were the hanging wisteria for the ceremony and allll the twinkle lights. The DJ easily kept all of our guests out on the dance floor until last call! As a bride, I was able to just relax, get ready with my girls, and enjoy the experience. Trust the advice of PF when it comes to planning! Every vendor, timeline suggestions, and planning tips they offered came from years of experience and a true understanding of what works best! Their guidance is from first-hand experience of years of weddings and they really do know how to craft the perfect experience.

The absolute best week of our lives
I'm not sure if I can adequately express all of the things that make Playa Fiesta so amazing, but I am going to try! To preface, I found Playa Fiesta through Wedding Wire and booked purely off of reviews, having not seen it in person, and it was hands down the best decision I have ever made. So, I hope that this review helps anyone considering PF for their wedding!
We recently had our wedding at Playa Fiesta (May 2025) after over a year of waiting, and I will just say it is worth waiting for any amount of time. From the very beginning, Adam, Lindsay, and Gabi communicated with me via email and phone to review all of the information necessary in the earlier phases and answer any questions I had. Throughout my year + of planning I was in constant communication with everyone. They went above and beyond to answer questions and handle just about everything you could think of. So as a bride it is all you could ask for! They organize and plan all details, you just customize your choices. There was no stress, and everything that I pictured came to life during the week of the wedding.
Wedding week: There is not one thing that went wrong, or that we, or any of our guests could complain about. The food was absolutely amazing (we stayed next door at the Hilton last year and the food doesn't even come close to the quality at PF). All of the staff was beyond amazing, going above and beyond to make sure that everyone was completely taken care of, and it was so amazing just getting to know all of the staff over the week. The day of the wedding Lindsay, Gabi, Martin, and Tammy handled everything from decorating, communicating with vendors, getting everyone where they needed to be, and my entire wedding vision came to life through their immense knowledge of wedding planning. There is nothing I would change about my wedding, or my entire stay at PF. And my entire group would say the exact same thing. We constantly have friends and family coming up to us saying how amazing their week was and how genuine everyone was at the hotel. Lindsay, Gabi, and Tammy, thank you so much for being such genuine, kindhearted people, making our wedding unforgettable. My mother and I went to a wedding at Hotel Playa Fiesta in 2019 and we knew we had to go back. As soon as my husband and I got engaged in 2023, we reached out to PF and booked our wedding for 2025. Planning a wedding is stressful, let alone a destination wedding, but the entire team at Playa Fiesta made planning so much easier. Every question we had along the way was answered quickly and Lindsay and Gabi were fantastic at helping us plan. Anything you can think of, they will make it happen and exceed your expectations. When we got to the hotel, the staff immediately made us feel at home. They remember your names, your drink orders, and make the entire experience a true fiesta. The hotel itself is so beautiful, all the rooms are clean and updated. Our friends loved taking photos at the pool, on the beach, or on the balconies, you really can't get a bad photo with the scenery and location. Our guests still rave about the wedding week, everyone had such a fun time and the food and drinks are top notch which also made a lasting impression. If you are considering a destination wedding, this is the place to be! Weddings can also be expensive, and for what we planned for our wedding day would have been 3 times more expensive in the states. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives, and it's all thanks to the amazing staff at Hotel Playa Fiesta. My partner and I just got married at Playa Fiesta a few weeks ago and it truly was the most incredible week of our lives. Lindsay, Gabi and the rest of the PF team were with us every step of the way from brainstorming, to planning, to executing. And I’m not exaggerating when I say everything was perfect. Wedding and Vacation All In One
It was a pleasure to be a guest at this beautiful villa. I traveled to Puerto Vallarta recently to celebrate my friends, Kevin and Kamilla. Their wedding was a dream to say the least. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs and they were so quick to help before I could even notice and thank them. The food was honestly the best I’ve ever had - the head chef put in the dedication and time to craft dishes that complement each other, as well as the whole experience well. The views from the villa captured the beauty of Mexico with colorful sunsets every night. I can see myself holding my own wedding here. Magical Wedding Weekend
Attending my friend’s wedding at Hotel Playa Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-tier—the staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like family. Every little detail was handled with care, making the wedding weekend seamless and stress-free.
The rooms were absolutely stunning, each with its own charm and breathtaking ocean views. Waking up to the sound of waves was truly magical. The hotel itself has such an intimate, boutique feel, which made the celebration even more special.
And let’s talk about the food—every meal was incredible! They accommodated all of my dietary restrictions which is always greatly appreciated!
I had the best time celebrating Kevin’s and Kamilla’s wedding! I can’t wait until I have the opportunity to travel here again.

My husband, Kevin, and I recently had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at the incredible Playa Fiesta, and we can honestly say it surpassed every expectation we had. ❤️
From the very first moment we visited, we were captivated by the breathtaking oceanfront location. It felt like we were in our own little paradise and it was nothing short of a dream come true.
But it wasn’t just the views that made our experience unforgettable; it was the amazing team that helped bring our vision to life.
A huge shoutout to Tio Charley, our nightly bartender, who was incredibly attentive and everyone’s best friend, keeping the drinks flowing and our guests happy all night long. On the day of our arrival, Charley was the first warm face to greet us as he left the bar and helped us carry our bags into the wedding suite. Having to say goodbye to him on the last day was beyond emotional.
Ernesto, our personal hype man, kept the energy high and made sure everyone was having a blast from start to finish. Our guests were chanting his name by the end of the trip. Salvador, the amazing DJ, kept everyone on the dance floor until the lights went out!
One piece of advice that my husband, Kevin and I received when we first got engaged was to focus more on our marriage and less on the wedding day. Playa Fiesta’s coordination team and the hard work they put in to executing our dream wedding allowed us to do just that.
A huge shoutout to Tammy, Martin, and Gabi - all absolute lifesavers. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfectly taken care of and managed seamlessly so we could fully enjoy our wedding week without any stress.
Here are just a few examples of their genuine care, patience, and attention to detail throughout the week:
1. Our flower girl was craving mangoes which were not one of the fruits available during breakfast. By the third day of the trip, Tammy had a special plate of mangoes prepared for her in the mornings.
2. In the midst of wedding packing, I forgot floss and tweezers. The team contacted the local pharmacy and delivered both items within the span of an hour.
3. One of my dinner outfits did not have the security tag removed. With the help of Lindsay and Tammy, Gabi found the magnet needed to take it off and expertly removed it without any snags!
4. My dad has recently experienced several gout flare ups. The kitchen and coordination team made sure a special plate of food was made for him during each meal — completely free of any ingredients that can cause a flare up.
5. Martin always ensured that Kevin and I were hydrated and had enough to eat. On the nights where we did not eat much, he made sure to send our plates of food up to our room in the event that we got hungry in the middle of the night.
This review wouldn’t be complete without a massive thank you to Gabi, our planning queen. She is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet and is the epitome of a true professional. From day one of planning (over two years ago!), she was a warm and thoughtful guide, making sure we had everything we needed and keeping us on track through the whole process.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without Lindsay and Adam, the masterminds behind it all. They created an experience that felt not only special but completely unique to us. Their vision, creativity, and commitment to their customer service are what made this venue stand out from all the others.
And let's not forget the food — omg, the food was absolutely incredible. We received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious each and every bite was. From the mini al pastor tacos to the shrimp Caesar salads to the fried ice cream, everything was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.
In short, Playa Fiesta goes above and beyond in every single way.
The beautiful venue, the dedicated team, and the top-notch food made our wedding experience everything we could have dreamed of and more. We are so grateful to everyone who helped make our big day so perfect and can’t recommend this venue enough! My husband and I got back from our wedding at playa fiesta two weeks ago and without a doubt our wedding week was the best week of our lives.
When we first got engaged almost two years ago we knew we wanted to do a destination wedding but where was the big question. We wanted somewhere on the beach, that was just us and our guests but planning a wedding so far away from our venue was very nerve wracking. However the minute I found playa fiesta online and reached out my worries disappeared. Lindsay and Gabi would reply to any and every question we had instantly. I once emailed Lindsay at midnight and she replied 5 minutes later. They let us know in the months leading up when certain decisions had to be made and made the entire process so easy and smooth.
Once we got to Playa Fiesta I was blown away. The hotel is even nicer than the photos, the staff were incredibly kind and knew everyone's names instantly. Every single one of our guests told me at some point in the week how impressed they were by the hotel and the service. The food was so tasty, we had a lot of people with serious dietary conditions who were nervous but Martin made them all feel so taken care of and they were all impressed. Every request we had was taken care of, we wanted a tv set up in the eating area and it was, some of our family wanted to move around rooms and it was no problem.
Our wedding day was perfect. We started the day with yoga for us and our wedding party and during yoga there were WHALES jumping in front of us. So cool! Gabi and Lindsay were so helpful all day making sure everything ran smoothly and we were prepared for everything. It all went so fast but some of our favourite moments were the crazy beautiful photoshoot on the beach during sunset, the surprise on our guests faces when the fireworks went off and the truly amazing dance party.
The entire week was so much fun. I highly recommend the fire dancers and drummers and pool volleyball, they were both a huge hit. If you are reading this and wondering whether or not to trust all these reviews, please do. A few standouts deserve special mention: Gabi brought so much warmth and thoughtfulness to our days, always brightening the moment with her kindness. Martin was our go-to in the evenings, keeping us on schedule while making sure we were having an amazing time. And Lindsay—what can we even say? She is one of the kindest, most capable people we’ve ever met. Playa fiesta put on the most amazing and magical wedding for my wife and I. It was better then anything we could have dreamed of, truly!! Adam and Lindsay where so great to work with for the year leading up. Very quick to to respond to any questions we had and explained everything very clearly, we couldn't have asked for better support. Once we checked in to Playa Fiesta the staff took over and was the greatest hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with. They were extremely attentive to all our guests' needs and asks. Making sure no one ever had an empty drink or went hungry. The food was truly astounding, we had multiple guests comment how they had worse meals at restaurants in town and the food at playa fiesta was some of the best they had ever had in Mexico. The staff was also very good about helping guests that had food allergies providing customized breakfasts and altering menu items for them. They would remember the changes and bring these dishes out automatically the following days for these guests. It was truly incredible. Special shout-out to the world's greatest bartender Charley! Manuel and Pato and all the other servers I can't thank you enough for the job you did making everyone feel special. The wedding day Lindsay, Gabi, and Martin you guys are truly astonishing!! Lindsay was sooo good my brothers fiancé wanted to hire her and fire their current wedding planner. Not only did everything go perfectly as planned, Megan and I had absolutely no stress or concerns the day of and were able to just enjoy. Which after being a groomsman in many friends weddings is not something I thought I would ever be able to say. Lastly, the DJ absolutely slayed!! Many guests commented how he kept the dance party going all night and no one wanted to leave the dance floor. I can't recommend Playa Fiesta enough to provide the wedding of your dreams. I write from the perspective of a recent groom to tell you that the hype is real. Five stars does not do justice to the experience my wife and I had. The TLDR of this post is that everyone involved in Hotel Playa Fiesta has gone above and beyond to craft a truly unique wedding experience and will continue to go above and beyond for all of their guests from the second you first talk to them to the second you check out of their hotel and beyond. A truly unforgettable wedding experience. For those interested in more details, I’ve outlined below the 5 areas that Hotel Playa Fiesta stood out most for me.
1) Unique. If you’re like me, you’ve dreamed of going on vacation with all your favorite people in the world. Hotel Playa Fiesta allowed us to live out that dream in a beautiful location right on the ocean with perfect weather and gorgeous scenery. Imagine renting out a small, mostly inclusive resort with all the people you care about and having it be just your group. It provided a rare opportunity for different friend groups to combine and truly get to know each other in a way that I haven’t seen from other weddings including other destination weddings. It also helped us to feel like we got close to being able to spend as much time with each individual guest that we had hoped for. Once everyone really knew each other, it culminated in an unforgettable wedding ceremony and one heck of party on the dance floor.
2) Beautiful ceremony and reception. On top of an unforgettable vacation experience, I was lucky enough to get to marry the person of my dreams in a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The location was beautiful and lent itself to absolutely breathtaking photos. The already beautiful hotel that started to feel like home after a few days transformed in an almost unrecognizable way into the type of picturesque venue that exists only in dreams.
3) Communication. Playa Fiesta went above and beyond from the time of our first correspondence with them to the time we checked out of the hotel. As someone who can be overwhelmed by options or weighed down easily by decision fatigue, I was somewhat dreading the wedding planning phase, but they have created a seamless workflow that breaks it all down into manageable chunks and helps things to feel less overwhelming. They’ve assembled lists of activities that will keep all guests entertained for the duration of their stay. The wedding packages offer a wide range of selections and allowed us to pick the perfect wedding for us. I’m confident that you can find your perfect wedding amongst the packages as well. Lindsay and Gabi were absolutely incredible at answering any questions that came up during the planning phase promptly (almost always within 24 hours) and worked hard to make our vision a reality. They have assembled a staff of experts that execute plans in ways that far exceeded expectations (Tammy and Martin). As someone who can be stressed out rather easily, I never for a second doubted that our dream wedding would come together perfectly thanks to Playa Fiesta’s efforts and demonstration of competence which left even more room for me to stress out about my vows haha.
4) Food and drinks. As a self-proclaimed picky eater, travelling can be challenging for me as it means leaving my comfort foods behind. After my first meal upon arrival I was able to totally relax as everything I ate was excellent and the staff was able to go above and beyond to accommodate every single guests’ food allergies, intolerances, and restrictions. The drinks were also delicious. The bartending staff even introduced us to some of their personal favorite creations. Charly’s El Diablo became the drink of the week. Would recommend.
5) Staff. High up on my list of favorite thinks about Hotel Playa Fiesta was the excellent crew that they have assembled. Everyone went so far above and beyond to make sure everyone had the perfect week. They made an effort to get to know us. By the end of the week, they knew everyone by name, everyone’s go-to drink, and dietary restrictions by heart. It was awesome getting to know many of them on a personal level. They are truly experts in their field. I also want to give a special shout out to all the staff that helped to keep the resort looking as perfect and spotless as it did. Never before had I seen staff clean every inch of a room the way that I saw during my stay at Playa Fiesta.

My husband and I got married here last week and it was the absolute best decision!! The whole place is absolutely stunning but what really stands out is the people & the service.
Lindsay, Gabi, Adam, Tammy were my wedding planning gurus and made the process enjoyable. I knew when I got married, I didn't want to plan a wedding, I didn't want to have to find vendors and do all the stressful wedding planning stuff. When I found Playa Fiesta online, I knew instantly it was where I wanted to get married.
Lindsay and Gabi are incredible wedding planners and I loved every second of working with them, they both reply to emails round the clock, constantly impressing me. But what impressed me even more, was their warmth & kindness when I finally got to meet them in person. Honestly, was so sad having to hug them goodbye at the end of our week and i sincerely hope our paths cross again in the future. They made all of my dreams come true & gave us the most incredible wedding.
I got to spend so much time with Lindsay, from her popping in to say hello, meeting lots of our guests, & to even being so involved with my hair & makeup trail. She is such a light & you can tell she clearly loves what she does & she is amazing at it.
Lindsay & Adam have currated the most amazing team at Playa Fiesta, all my guests even noticed & couldn't stop raving about the incredible service. From Charley the bartender who remembered everyone's names & drink orders all week long, to Rico & Jorge & all the other amazing servers, and Martin, our evening coordinator who was always so kind & fun, even got down with us on the dance floor the night of our wedding!
One other thing to note, is I am vegan, and finding a place where I felt I'd have options all week was really important to me. & let me tell you, Playa Fiesta was the right choice. All the servers knew I was the bride, knew I was vegan, and would always immediately point out what I could & couldn't have at all the breakfast, lunch & dinner buffets, even having separtely cooked entrees for me when needed.
From the a la carte menu the chopped salad is excellent, I ordered it more than once. Also the homemade flour tortillas for our fajita night were incredible as well as every mornings Chilaquiles which they also made me my own huge, vegan dish. And can't forget to mention my personal vegan carrot cake, their in house chef made for me for the wedding night, it was SO good, I made sure to finish it poolside the next day.
All of our guests made sure to tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and they are not wrong.Everything about Playa Fiesta is magical. Getting to spend 5 nights with our guests in such a beautiful place, knowing it was just us and our people around the pool, with great food & drinks & incredible service the whole week long, made it so incredibly special. & some how the wedding day was even more perfect. We seriously could not have hoped for a more amazing wedding & are so sad it's over! I hope some of my friends book their weddings here in the future so we have an excuse to go back! Hotel Playa Fiesta gave us the absolute dream wedding week. If you are looking for: (1) a gorgeous venue that is extremely well maintained (I’m talking touching up paint in rooms between weddings, immaculate cleaning of even the legs of chairs, and recent renovations), (2) an easy planning process with regular and prompt communication that makes you feel supported and confident instead of stressed, (3) the best week ever marrying the love of your life!!, then look no further!
We didn’t even know this kind of thing existed where we could stay with almost all of our wedding guests in one boutique hotel. Probably because this is so unique and special. This set up made it so easy to bounce between groups and get lots of face time with all of our guests while we were there.
Lindsay and Gabi made the planning go as smoothly as possible. They have a well oiled machine and are experts in how to plan and execute an incredible experience. Trust their recommendations for activities, vendors, and everything else wedding and PV related! Week of execution was flawless thanks to Gabi, Tammy, and Martin. Lindsay’s calm confidence on the wedding day helped me stay grounded in the joy of the moment and unbothered by any little distractions because I knew she had things covered.
All of the staff are exemplary! Many have been with the resort for over a decade! From their consistent warmth, to learning the names of many of our guests, to teaching us about new favorite drinks, to kicking off our karaoke night (shout out to Charly), they truly went above and beyond. They made me and my husband feel so special and also so at ease because we were certain that our guests would have a great experience and have all their needs met.
It is a big ask to travel for a wedding and our guests were extremely effusive in how much they loved it and were glad they came!
If the 3 star thing is giving you pause, ignore it and book. Did you know a hotel has to have multiple restaurants to be higher than a 3 star? Well I’ve stayed at multiple mega resorts in Mexico and have never eaten as well or had as delicious of drinks as I did at Playa Fiesta.

I attended my sister's wedding at Playa Fiesta in March 2024. To say that it was the absolute best venue is an understatement. From the minute we arrived at the venue, they treated us like family. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were so attentive to our every need the entire time we were there. Our joke was that you couldn't finish a drink before someone put a fresh drink in your hand! There were so many fun perks we were able to add on, like pool volleyball the day after the wedding, and massages. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and every guest room is perfect. I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience staying at Playa Fiesta! From the moment we arrived, I knew we had made the best choice. The rooms and accommodations are incredible - cozy yet spacious, super clean with comfy beds and plenty of balcony space. The pool, bar, and dining area are perfectly situated and there are so many cute spots to mingle and talk with family and friends. As a bride, I wanted for nothing because everything was taken care of by Lindsay, Gabi, Bernard, and the rest of the staff! They made things so easy and it was the most low-stress wedding planning I could've asked for - truly the biggest blessing. From their stellar communication and planning leading up to the wedding week, to the execution the week of, everything was flawless. My friends and family are still talking about what an amazing trip it was - filled with yummy food, flowing drinks and tons of relaxation and activities. About a month ago we checked out of Hotel Playa Fiesta and have reminisced about it EVERY DAY since then. When we first saw the hotel, the amazing reviews, and started interactions, with Lindsay, we thought it was too good to be true. We talked to someone who actually had their wedding there too, my brother-in-law's co-worker, who confirmed the pure bliss of Hotel Playa Fiesta.
I'm here to say, after returning from our trip last month, ITS REAL and it was THE BEST DECISION OF OUR LIVES. Here's why:
-The entire place to yourselves: You have the entire location to yourselves, no random strangers, just your best friends and family. It creates a cozy and intimate space to reconnect, recharge and play!
-The location: Located south of the city, the location is perfect to get out a bit and....the Ocean is right at your finger tips. It's an ocean front property with two pools and a hot tub. The views from each spot in the hotel are stunning, a little piece of heaven.
-Hospitality at its finest: Each staff member was so professional, personable and considerate. They carried bags, delivered drinks, helped inflate the pool floats we brought, held our babies when we needed a quick hand (babysitting services available through outside providers too!) and attended to our every need. They knew all of our names immediately and we left knowing theirs because we wanted to! So many of our guests commented on the staff, their kindness and attentiveness. This aspect made us feel so special, and well cared for, it truly was a HUGE part of what made the trip so wonderful.
-Food!: We had the best food for each and every meal, regardless of the meal plan you choose, the food is top tier - no belly bugs, no picky eaters, just delicious. They are also really aware of any and all food allergies and intolerances the entire visit - just let them know! I am not a big drinker and they accommodated me with non-alcoholic options, my partner, however, LOVED the Pina coladas, margaritas and more, maybe a little too much;) The bar tenders were efficient and knew their way around a drink!
-Attention to detail: Having such a niche in wedding events and 4-5 day stays, they have done it all and seen it all. They have such a keen eye to detail, check our their instagram, it is picturesque and each picture is worth 1000 words. @playafiestaweddings
-Beauty beyond belief: The property, ocean views, rooms, vibes, people, all of it is so beautiful and the fact that they share this little piece of heaven with others is truly such a gift, everything Hotel Playa Fiesta is beyond belief, so incredible. Tropical paradise all to yourselves.
All this to say, I haven't even started on their wedding coordination services!
-Wedding coordination: BIG shout out to Lindsay and Gabi for their team work and thoughtfulness with helping us plan not only our big day but also the entire week! I like to think of myself as a low key bride, I knew exactly what I wanted, down to earth, but I also had my own ideas. Lindsay and Gabi were immaculate in their assistance, always prompt in responses, reasonable to requests, SUPER accommodating. These humans made our dreams a literal reality. We brought some decorations - they hung them up. I shared pictures and table arrangement ideas - they made it come to life. I wanted a group picture at the beach after our ceremony at the sundeck - they made it happen. Lindsay and Gabi are fine tuned to the most intricate detail, if they can help you make it happen, they will. Lindsay and Gabi were even there the day of our wedding, helping make sure the timeline was aligned, everyone was were they needed to be, things were being set up accurately and that everything went smoothly. I DID NOT have to lift a finger or enlist help to do things like make sure the cake had our wedding topper, make sure my lip color was not lost, set up or tear down tables, heard the guests where they needed to be, nope, the staff did it ALL. Over the course of 18 months planning (it sounds like a long time but truly it was the PERFECT amount of time). This team even helped guide us with their outside vendors and/or alternatives to make things before and day of go smoothly. In the end, I gave them my bride ideas and dreams and they made it come true along with seeing it out to the very very end. THANK YOU!!!!!!
Some tips from a longing bride wanting to return and do it again:
--Invite all your family and friends! We loved that our small group made it (56 total but they can accommodate more guest at their hotel and sister hotel) and by the end of the trip, everyone we invited that came were all THANKING us for making it happen. It was no longer something they had to do but were excited that it turned out to actually be a vacation and a wedding in once.
--Stay longer! Our group did the 4 night stay, but you have an option to come earlier, a la carte....DO IT. We flew in early and the moment they opened their doors on Monday afternoon, we were there. We are so happy we came early and stayed until the last minute on Sunday. We didn't want to leave, it was so perfect.
--Ask questions, there is no question to small or too big that this group of incredible humans cannot handle. Downtown dinner reservations, tours and activities on the town, fireworks, stone ceremonies, yoga, euchre tournaments, meals for the kids, modifications for allergies, you name it and they can handle it.
--BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! Do it. We were super apprehensive about booking a place without seeing it so my partner and I went to Mexico and visited Hotel Playa Fiesta on a Monday afternoon. I'm not kidding when I say, the minute we walked into the hotels main area, we looked at each other and immediately knew it was the place. We booked that night and never looked back. For reference: we booked in November of 2022 for a May 2024 wedding and the planning timeline, although it felt long because of our excitement, was ideal.
--Trust in this and other reviews along with the abilities of Hotel Playa Fiesta: The journey to Mexico, flying internationally (I'm located in Colorado, USA), traveling from the airport (they even helped us coordinate with a transportation team), and staying with the hotel (see all the raving I did above) was seriously amazing. With confidence, I can tell you to book it, even site unseen.
--Get ready to have the best time of your lives. Having all of our closest family and friends at an ocean front boutique hotel that serves the best views, food, drinks, hospitality was PERFECT. Not ONE shoe dropped. It was the best vacation with the most amazing wedding, ever.

This is the most special and unique venue I could have imagined. It has everything you could ask for in a destination location and my wedding week was perfect. I am a type-A perfectionist and uber organizer and there is not one thing that I would have changed about my experience at Playa Fiesta (except that I wish it had lasted longer).
You can truly make your wedding whatever you want here. If you want to book jet-skis for a day, they will be delivered. If you want to have fire dancers at one of your gatherings, consider it done and the list goes on and on.
All of Lindsay and Adam's vendors are professional and trustworthy. They really make it so easy for you. You never have to worry if someone is going to show up or if the service or product is going to be of quality. The owners have done all of the legwork for you so you can just enjoy your experience.
The staff was phenomenal. Gabi, Tammi, Charlie, Ernesto, Santana, Manuel and everyone else on site all became like old friends. They learned our names and our preferences so quickly. They were so genuinely kind and really make Playa Fiesta what it is.
The location of the villa is perfect. You are 10 minutes from the city and can have a taxi available to pick you up in 2 minutes. You have the beach right in front of the hotel, but honestly, we just loved having our own private pools overlooking the ocean.
The rooms and grounds are immaculate. They do renovations every year so things are always clean, updated and fresh. They were even painting on the day we left for the new group's arrival.
The food is excellent. Everything we ate was delicious and we were given such generous proportions! The team is so diligent to care for guest's allergies and restrictions. They really go above and beyond.
The value for what you receive here is unmatched - trust me, I looked at other venues over a 6 month span before coming back and booking Playa Fiesta. Best Venue in the World!!
We were married at Hotel Playa Fiesta this March and have nothing but GLOWING things to say about this exceptional wedding venue. We stumbled upon Hotel Playa Fiesta on Trip Advisor and were married here site unseen. Because we never visited the property before our wedding week, we relied heavily on reviews. These reviews almost seemed too good to be true. Over 1000 5 star reviews?! We are HAPPY to report that these 5 star reviews are all 100% true. I had also talked to two other brides who had amazing experiences at Hotel Playa Fiesta before booking here, but it is truly hard to express just how special this place is until you experience it for yourself.
From the very beginning of wedding planning, Lindsay, Adam, and Gaby were exceptional. They would often respond in under 15 minutes to our emails! They were thorough, patient, and extremely kind. The actual wedding planning process is so seamless-you choose a food/beverage/décor package for your wedding day, and then you can add additional aspects, such as flowers, fireworks, etc. This really simplifies the process for the bride and groom, especially for a destination wedding. Since they have been doing this for many years, the vendors that work with Hotel Playa Fiesta are all so wonderful. As a couple with busy work schedules, it was important to us that the process of planning was simple, but that we could still personalize the aspects that were important to us. There are so many ways to customize your special day, from your seating chart, to bringing menus/guest books, to various colored goblet options, silverware choices, entertainment, candles, etc. They will truly work with you on any request to make your day special. I was absolutely blown away by the florals for our wedding day. I had several guests come up to me and say that our flowers were the prettiest flowers they have ever seen at a wedding! The hotel was completely transformed for the wedding day and looked absolutely stunning. I was also so impressed with the hair and makeup team-all my girls were SO happy with their hair/makeup. I was able to do a hair trial before the wedding day and absolutely LOVED how it turned out for the wedding night. The team at Playa Fiesta was also extremely helpful in the year leading up to our wedding with additional aspects we wanted to add to our wedding week, such as a boat day and arranging transportation for our guests from the airport. Lindsay connected us to a transportation and boat company, which were also FABULOUS.
Now to the wedding week. To say the hospitality at Hotel Playa Fiesta is unmatched would be an understatement. Charly, Pato, Ernesto, David…ALL the staff were some of the kindest people we have ever met and truly made us feel like family. Throughout the entire week, our guests would come up to us saying they could barely believe how wonderful the service was. The staff knew all of our guests by name, would remember their drink orders, and would often ask if we needed a new drink when we were only halfway through our current one! It was very important to us that our guests felt well taken care of, as they were travelling a long distance for our wedding, and we can say with certainty that this was the case. Just one example of this is this story here: One of our guests told us that the first morning she came down to breakfast and asked for decaf coffee. The kitchen did not have it ready but made a pot for her. Every morning after that she said they had decaf coffee ready for her when she walked down to breakfast. Truly this place provides 5 star service! Furthermore, the food was absolutely delicious and they were SO accommodating to our guests with dietary restrictions. Even on the wedding night, one of our groomsmen is vegan and Gaby personally made sure that he had a late night snack. Amazing, amazing, amazing service.
In addition to amazing service, the property itself is absolutely stunning. The beach area feels extremely secluded, and the views are amazing. The sunsets!!! They are truly incredible. Having the whole property to yourself makes it feel like a big beach party the whole week. The property itself is also spotless. Housekeeping at the resort is incredible-our room would be cleaned meticulously each day. All the common areas are also incredibly well taken care of. We loved having both pools to relax at, and there is no shortage of lounge areas for your guests to unwind at.
We truly cannot stop gushing to everyone and anyone about how incredible our experience was at Hotel Playa Fiesta. Our guests are already talking about trying to arrange for a reunion here, and several of our bridal party want to get married here as well! Perfect Wedding in Paradise
It is hard to put into words how good of an experience it was hosting our wedding at Playa Fiesta this February. One of us had been one time and fell in love with the venue, but it wasn't until we were the bride and groom did we TRULY get to see how wonderful this place is. I was someone who never wanted a wedding, but Playa Fiesta convinced me that it is absolutely worth it! I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
Besides how insanely beautiful and well-kept the hotel is, the staff are next-level. From planning the wedding over 1 year out with the amazing care, assistance and attention from Lindsay and Adam, to the wedding logistics planning by the INCREDIBLE Gabi, Tammy & Lindsay, to the best customer-service from Charly, Ernesto and Pato (just to name a few), everything was perfection. We could not find a single thing to possibly complain about, as everything was truly perfect. The team is a well-oiled machine that predicts your needs, is always available and attentive, and could not be more friendly or accommodating. On top of that, it was amazing to find a venue that had just our friends and family staying there. This unique setup allowed us to spend quality time with everyone who attended
We had about 90 wedding guests, and honestly the majority came up to us during the wedding weekend saying how amazing this place was and how INCREDIBLE the staff was. We've traveled the world and never had customer-service or staff like this before. For example, Charly (the bartender), Ernesto and Pato remembered most of our guests names and drink orders, and would predict when you needed a refill, and knew when to check on each of the guests. It was astounding! Not only were the drinks fantastic, but the food was absolutely amazing! We had several guests with dietary restrictions, and the staff were more than willing to accommodate them.

Our Unforgettable Wedding Week at Playa Fiesta
What I would give to go back and relive our wedding week at Playa Fiesta over and over again! The experience at Playa Fiesta was nothing short of magical.
During the 18 months of wedding planning, people often asked about the stress and how it was going. I can honestly say that planning our wedding at Playa Fiesta was not only stress-free but also a lot of fun! This was due to Adam, Lindsay and their amazing team! I can’t tell you how refreshing it was to work with a team that was so friendly, detail-oriented, organized, and extremely responsive. It was obvious from the very start that Adam and Lindsay are experts when it comes to hosting weddings and their support and guidance throughout the entire process was so appreciated!
Upon arrival to Playa Fiesta we were blown away by how absolutely stunning the property is. If you thought the photos were impressive just wait until you see it in person!! You can tell that they take great pride in keeping everything pristine! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, very spacious and had the most breathtaking views! The pool deck, bar, sunset terrace and patio area were all gorgeously designed! No details were spared!
The Playa Fiesta staff, without a doubt, is the friendliest, most attentive, and hardworking group I have ever encountered. Lindsay, Gabi, Tammy, and Bernard deserve a huge shoutout for making our wedding week perfect. Charley the bartender is iconic! He is a master of his craft! The wait and kitchen staff, especially Ernesto, contributed to our phenomenal experience. Chef Octavio impressed us with his delicious dishes throughout the week.
Our week was filled with so many fun activities!! I highly recommend the fire jugglers and hosting a karaoke night! The massages on the sun deck were out of this world amazing. Best massage I have ever had (you will definitely want to upgrade to the full hour!)
The wedding day itself was a dream. Lindsay and her team orchestrated the entire day to perfection. The Playa Fiesta hair and makeup team, Christy and Brenda, were fantastic. Photographer Eder and videographer Sandra blended seamlessly with our group, making the experience comfortable and enjoyable.
The ceremony setup was breathtaking, creating an intimate atmosphere despite our numerous guests. I can't express enough how obsessed I was with the floral arrangements. Maripepa and her team are true artists who did a phenomenal job with the flowers and bouquets.
Dinner was delicious, and Lindsay ensured we had time to sit down and enjoy our meal. As someone who is gluten-free, I was blown away by our delicious gluten-free wedding cake that I'll be dreaming about for years.
The reception was one of the best nights of my life, from non-stop dancing to a surprise fireworks show. The DJ crushed it, keeping everyone on the dance floor for hours. We have since had several guests tell us it was the best wedding they have ever been to!
I can't rave about Playa Fiesta enough—they are truly the best at what they do, and I wholeheartedly recommend hosting your wedding here.

When my husband and I were planning our wedding, we knew we wanted something destination that would also be a vacation for our guests. Playa Fiesta delivered that and more during our wedding week.
We booked our wedding a year and a half out, sight unseen, based solely off reviews and responsiveness of their staff. As you can imagine when planning a wedding in another country and a place you haven't been to before, there can be a lot of anxiety and stress that comes with the process. Thankfully, Gabi and Lindsay were always there to answer my million + 1 questions quickly and efficiently. No detail goes unnoticed as they manage a handful of workbooks to keep everything on track. Planning a wedding can be extremely overwhelming but the second I stepped foot on the resort, every worry literally floated away. The pictures do not do it justice. Every room is unique, beautiful and spotless with a lot of rooms having balcony access and ocean views. I still miss waking up to those views every morning and watching the whales in the afternoon!
The staff is unlike any other resort or hotel we've been too. Everyone gets to know your name (and your guest's names!) and we truly felt valued as guests. Gabi & Tammy are on top of coordination, never overbearing but keep you in the loop on the things you need to know - a true blessing when you're a bride. Charly, Ernesto, Pato (I could keep going) are on top of the service, never leaving you with an empty drink or plate.
Something that was important to us was making sure this was an experience for our guests and Playa Fiesta delivered. I could write a whole post about the food alone but trust me and all other reviews that the food is next level. Our guests also couldn't stop raving about the massages which I can also confirm was one of the best massages I've had. We also had fire jugglers, an ATV excursion, morning yoga and a catamaran ride throughout the week - all that Gabi & Lindsay help us coordinate.
The ceremony and reception were stunning. I was worried about traveling with a lot of decor but you truly don't need much in a place like this - it speaks for itself. The florals were beautiful! It pained me to leave them behind, I was obsessed with the work Florart did for the bouquets, ceremony space and tables. Also, much love to the DJ who used our playlist as a guide, mixing favorite songs and adding in new ones. I didn't know what to expect but truly a great wedding DJ that had the dance floor packed all night.
We hope to return to Puerto Vallarta next year for our anniversary but know that it may not live up to the week we just had. Having a wedding at Hotel Playa Fiesta is hands down the best decision we could have made. We got married in January 2024 and at first wedding planning was very overwhelming as we had no idea what we were doing. That all changed when we decided to host our wedding at Playa Fiesta. Throughout the 18 months of wedding planning , Adam, Lindsay and Gabi made the process extremely manageable and dare I say even fun!!
The entire staff is genuine, helpful, incredibly accommodating, and truly go above and beyond to make you and your guest’s experience unforgettable. This includes all the hardwork put in by Gabi, Bernard, Tammy, Lindsay, Adam and every Playa Fiesta worker. They were all absolutely incredible from start to finish.
Bartender Charley is a legend, Ernesto also a legend, so much fun and kept the vibes/energy high.
Food was fantastic (chef’s kiss!), loved the variety of options, and very accommodating for me and my wife’s food allergies. We are still dreaming of the goat cheese salad!
The location is perfect! We had our own private castle for the week. The rooms were very comfortable and had lots of character making you truly feel at home.
The days leading up to the wedding were so much fun and filled with great activities. We both highly recommend booking the fire juggler and doing karaoke.
Wedding day, everything flowed perfectly. You can tell that Lindsay and team know what they are doing and they do it flawlessly! We can’t say thank you enough for all you did on this very special day!
The DJ crushed it! He kept everyone dancing on the dance floor all night. Many of our guests say they had never seen so many people dancing for so long at a wedding!
There is so much love and joy at Playa Fiesta and it shows in everything that they do. We had so many guests say this was the best wedding they had ever been to and a the vacation of their dreams. We are so gretful for all of the hard work Playa Fiesta put in to make our wedding week absolutey perfect and we are even more grateful for the beautufil friendships that we formed with everyone that works there. My husband and I got married here in January of 2024 and it was truly the most magical experience of our lives. We started the planning process with Lindsay, Adam, and Gabi in August of 2022, and they supported us every step of the way. Planning a wedding can feel very overwhelming, but Lindsay and her team have each step laid out in manageable tasks. They were very responsive to all of our questions and were even available over the phone. Just based on the planning experience, we had very high hopes for the wedding week. To say they surpassed our expectations would be an understatement. The moment we walked in, the staff said, "This is your house." That sentiment was clear in every interaction and small detail. We truly felt like we were a part of the Playa Fiesta family. What a special family they are. Lindsay, Gabi, and Tammy anticipated all of our needs before we even realized we needed something. Ernesto, Charly, and the rest of the service staff knew all of our guests by name and took amazing care of everyone. Everyone and everything was perfect! The resort itself is just stunning, with spacious rooms, two pools, and beautiful beach access. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We wrapped up our week and wedding at Playa Fiesta and can truly say retrospectively, it was our perfect experience; we have no regrets and only high recommendations.
The owners and their staff are all incredible. Specifically, we were in direct communication with owners Lindsay and Adam, and their amazing Wedding Coordinator Gabi for the last 2 years. They were always responsive, usually replying to any questions we had within just a few hours. They kept us on a clear timeline without being pushy, and had us fully prepared for everything we needed - we each had zero experience with wedding planning, and we felt so secure in their hands knowing that we would not be missing anything. There was an Excel workbook we were given to work on, and just by chipping away at it every now and then we finished it with ease. Anytime we were unsure about something, we got a friendly and supportive answer to get us on track.
This whole setup led to the most incredible week. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted with such warmth and felt completely at home. The resort is stunning and we got a tour of each room to see all the individual touches that make each one special. There are 2 pools, a large one where often beach volleyball is set up (a surprising hit for a group of mostly non-athletes) and a smaller pool if anyone wants a less busy space. The beach is right down the steps and surprisingly uncrowded for being right next to the Hilton. Stunning sunsets every evening.
Something that was really important to my partner and I were that our families and friends would not only feel like they were loved and valued by us during our wedding, but also that they would connect with each other and build a foundation for our whole blended community moving forward. This week achieved that and more. When I think about the number of times I had genuine, unrushed, and intimate conversations with loved ones, and compare it to the few seconds I would have gotten with them had we chosen to have a singular wedding night, it solidifies in my heart what a great decision it was to have our wedding here.
The private resort setting created a completely different space than if we had just rented out a block of rooms at a larger resort. Rather than groups of our guests coordinating with each other to head down and spend time together at specific times, everyone would wander down to the pool area when they were ready to socialize just to see what was happening. This led to so much more mixing and mingling, and by the day of our wedding, we had so many mixed groups dancing, drinking, and celebrating together.
The staff at Playa Fiesta have the competency of absolute professionals, but more than that are so loving, accommodating, and kind. We felt like were part of a family and they so clearly authentically cared about sharing this amazing place with us so our wedding could be everything we wanted it to be. On the day of the wedding, I had no fears because Playa Fiesta has been doing this now for over 20 years. They have seen anything and everything and are prepared for all of it.
When planning what to do for our wedding, one of my partner and my biggest fears of choosing a wedding like this was that it would be too big of a burden to ask our friends and family to take a week off and fly internationally, especially during the holidays. Upon leaving, guest after guest told my partner and me that this was one of the best weeks of their lives. I could not recommend this experience enough. This place was 5 star on every level. We had our wedding here and it was simply magical. Everything about it was perfect. When you have that many people traveling from all over someone is bound to have an issue/complaint but literally everyone had the best time and is still raving about it. The location, the hotel itself, the amenities, the food and drink, and most of all the staff. So much attention to detail. I chose this venue from an article I read and all the guest reviews and pictures. Let me tell you it was even better than I expected. We will find an excuse to come back again- it was that good. If you want a wedding or family reunion where you feel like a king/queen and all the coordination is done for you (but to your exact specifications) then this is the place. Having the entire place for just your group is everything/ makes the whole experience custom and next level. The week of the wedding was flawless. Playa Fiesta’s team delivered Michelin-quality service, ensuring both our guests and we were well taken care of. Every event, including those offsite, was meticulously planned and executed with perfect timing.
Our wedding suite was a dream—spacious, luxurious, and boasting a stunning ocean view. The wedding itself was nothing short of magical, set under an oceanside pergola with the soothing sounds of the waves as our soundtrack.
It’s hard to encapsulate just how incredible the experience was in a few words. This was not only the most beautiful and well-organized wedding I’ve been to (admittedly, I’m a bit biased!), but many of our 65 guests echoed this sentiment, calling it the best wedding they’d ever attended. If I could choose only one regret from our wedding at Playa Fiesta, it's that we didn't choose the venue quickly enough and I stressed too much about mishaps that never happened. Every. Single. Thing. about our week was absolute perfection, and I can't say enough glowing things about the venue and staff here. If you're wondering where to host your big event, look no further... seriously, there's not a better place to be found. Lindsay & Gabi are the most dear souls - by the time we arrived, I felt like I was visiting long time friends! They thought of every detail, walked me through planning for a year and a half, and then executed during the whole week with absolute precision. Our family and friends still rave about our experience, we've all seriously considered finding a reason to throw another party there.
I have long believed that the vibe of a place, or the culture of the staff, all flows from the top, down. It's clear from the very long tenure of so much of the staff, as well as how genuine they all are, that Lindsay has created an environment for everyone to do their best work and chosen the right folks for each role. Yes, the beach is gorgeous, and the hotel is perfect... but it's really the people that everyone remembers most, months later. By a few hours after arrival it seemed they already knew our names - and drink orders! - and the top notch service continued throughout our stay. Because I was asking our friends and family to spend time and money traveling for our wedding, it was SO important to me that everyone enjoy themselves - and I can say for certain that they truly did! I wish I could give >5 stars!
If I could give Hotel Playa Fiesta a rating higher than five stars I would! With over 20 years of experience, the Hotel Playa Fiesta team has weddings and hospitality on lockdown. If you are having doubts about whether or not to book - DO IT NOW.
We knew we wanted a destination wedding at a small boutique hotel. When I stumbled upon the other many many 5-star reviews of HPF, I almost thought it was fake. But, we took a leap of faith, booked for our May 2023 wedding sight unseen, and I am SO glad we did.
Why is HPF so amazing? First, the wedding planning and coordination team. Lindsay, Gabi, Tammy, and Martin made what could be an extremely stressful experience a breeze. They send out these wedding planning workbooks in batches which helps make the process less overwhelming. Day of the wedding I was amazed at the level of detail and care that made it truly special. Any family drama? - Lindsay is a seasoned expert who helped smooth it over in a blink of an eye. Gabi was the one who carefully placed my veil and then had my mom pose for pictures. Chance of rain? Not a problem, they are completely weather prepared. They even set aside wedding cake in our fridge for us to eat for breakfast the next morning. Not the mention that the DJ was on POINT and the food was great. Every. Little. Detail. They have it covered.
Second, the rest of the hotel staff. Hands down this is the best hospitality service we have ever experienced and many of our guests agreed. They took great care to learn people's names, how they are related to another, and where they are from. We had to make some last minute room swaps to account for a guest’s mobility issues and they were like - no problem!
And last but not least, the location! The Hotel Playa Fiesta property is truly special. When they say right on the beach that means you literally step off the property into the sand and you can hear the ocean waves in every room. If you book this hotel, every guest on the property will be a part of your wedding celebration. It is an intimate experience I don’t think you’ll find anywhere else.

I was looking for a private venue in Mexico where our friends and family could stay in one place without other guests at the hotel for our June 2023 wedding. When I found Hotel Playa Fiesta, it seemed to fit all of my criteria. The rooms looked beautiful, it was beachfront, and it was big enough to hold a lot of people. However, I had never planned a wedding and had never been to Puerto Vallarta, so I did not know what to expect! I was planning a huge life event in another country from my home in Colorado and felt like I was taking a leap of faith.
Well, I couldn’t be happier that I did! From the first conversations and planning sessions with Lindsay and Adam, the wonderful owners of Playa Fiesta, I was at ease. They had everything I needed and made planning a breeze. They had the florist, the hair and makeup artists, the DJ, and a selection of photographers and videographers from which I could choose. They were extremely responsive, quick to act, and so organized. Planning my wedding was low-stress and fun! BUT I HAVEN’T EVEN GOTTEN TO THE BEST PART!!
From the minute we arrived at the property, I was blown away. The service is outstanding, and it is even more beautiful than the photos can show. I was greeted by Gabi, who acts alongside Lindsay on the coordination team. She gives the greatest hugs! She and Tammy walked us through the hotel and made sure that everything was perfect for all the guests we had coming. The rooms are all a little unique but each one is beautiful. I was worried the standard rooms wouldn’t be as nice as the oceanfront suites, but they were gorgeous and didn’t feel like they were too small.
Let’s talk about the actual wedding now because it was a dream come true. Lindsay and her team coached us through every step, from the rehearsal to the reception. We had our wedding on Friday, per their recommendation, and I am SO HAPPY that we did! It was awesome to have a recovery day Saturday where everyone could still be together and soak in the magic of the wedding night. Every vendor they recommended went so far above and beyond. The flowers were gorgeous, the photographer and videographer we chose were awesome, the glam team made me and my bride squad look so good, and the DJ kept the party rocking!! A special shout out to Christy who is the lead hair and makeup artist – she did some Reiki for me on my wedding day because I was feeling a little nervous and it helped so much! She and Brenda made me feel so calm and cared for. Splurge for the fireworks, you won’t regret it!!
The staff went above and beyond for us. I already mentioned a few names, but Gabi, Tammy, Martin, Charly, Santana, Alejandro, Alexis, Pancho, Manuel, and Rico, with everyone else working alongside them, filled every request and need we had. I can’t forget to mention THE FOOD!! Oh my gosh, I ate so well. The breakfast is delicious, every menu item is incredible, the dinner buffets were outstanding, and the team made sure all our guests knew what they could eat per their dietary restrictions and food allergies. The cleaning staff also does the most incredible job. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the whole hotel is well kept. I was barefoot basically the whole week and never had dirty feet! The pool is the perfect temperature to lounge in all day, the ocean is steps away with a safe little cove for swimming, and the sand is insanely soft.

My wife and I just got married at Playa Fiesta 1 week ago, and we are still on cloud 9 reminiscing about our amazing stay!
Where to begin…
The staff was incredibly wonderful from start to finish- Adam, Lindsay, Gabi- were so thorough and helpful to ensure our day went off without a hitch! The wedding planning process was stress free, they are true pros and it shows- they helped bring our vision to life and that is priceless. In addition, All the staff (Alejandro, Alexis, Tammy, Martin) were all so incredibly helpful and made you feel at home! Special shout out to Charly for truly being a legend !
The Rooms… wow! We did not get a chance to visit hotel playa fiesta before the week we got married, which is always a risk when you are planning a destination wedding. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised to find all the rooms offered nice space and were immensely comfortable for each of our guests .
The food- 🤤 compliments to the chefs!!! All of our friends and family could not get over how delicious all of the meals were.
All the wedding vendors- Maripepa the florist, Brenda and Christy who did our makeup and hair - are incredibly sweet and through and brought our vision to life! This team comes recommended from years of weddings and it shows ! Everything ran smoothly! And we looked fabulous! Also huge shout out to the DJ! He crushed it, we provided our playlist and he did an awesome job of keeping the dance floor going!
After a year or virtual wedding planning, we can confirm that pictures truly do not do the property justice - being there in person was a dream! Playa Fiesta will forever hold a special place in our hearts as will the PF staff. We did not want to leave and are already looking forward to coming back. We couldn’t have picked a better venue for our magical day!!!
For all future brides - once you arrive you can breathe! This team is absolutely fantastic, flawlessly executes and all to your guests will walk away speechless with the care for each event.

One in a million!
This review is well over due, but there truly aren't words that would give Hotel Playa Fiesta the justice it deserves. From the moment I reached out to inquire about having my wedding at Playa Fiesta to the moment my guests and I were leaving I truly felt like I was the only bride they were working with because they are so attentive and make you feel so special. I cannot say enough about how truly amazing Lindsay and Gabi are to work with. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful and I was initially hesitant and worried about communication/response times. However, my worries were quickly put to ease as Lindsay & Gabi truly blew me away with how quickly they would respond through email to all my questions/requests. They are truly the absolute BEST people to work with while planning a wedding. Throughout the process there were times where I did not feel I had the time to devote to planning a wedding due to work demands but they made the entire process stress free and simple. They provide you with a detailed spreadsheet (a type-A brides dream) to ensure nothing goes missed or unnoticed and keep you constantly updated with your guests booking information. They really make the process so simple and are always willing to work with you to ensure all of your needs are met.
The day we arrived at Hotel Playa Fiesta we were instantly blown away. The moment we got there Gabi was there to greet us and any worry I may have had was instantly gone.. You truly feel like royalty when you arrive as the staff is waiting to get you taken care of. Nothing will prepare you for how amazing the wedding suite is and how stunning the views are. I know for a fact that I had seen every photo ever posted of this venue and the photos TRULY do not do it justice. It is really the most beautiful place on earth with crystal blue waters, greenery galore, and beautiful mountains. The scenery is like no other and I spent every morning on our wedding suite balcony taking it all in and listening to the waves roll in. Playa Fiesta truly felt like our own little slice of heaven those two days before our guest arrived as we had the whole resort to ourselves with the most amazing staff taking care of us. Playa Fiesta was made that much more special when all of our guests arrived as I don’t think there is any other location on earth where you could bring 50 of your closest friends and family to one place and have it all just for you.
The food was absolutely SPECTACULAR- like seriously unreal and blew all expectations I had out of the water. The pesto pasta, chilaquiles, shrimp quesadillas, and chips and guac became a staple part of my diet for 4 days and left me dreaming of that food till this day. The staff is truly incredible and went above and beyond to get to know our guests and treated everyone like kings and queens. Thank you to Charly for making the most amazing drinks and for making me feel so special by calling me “his queen”. Thank you to Pancho, Alejandro, and Santana for always being so attentive to our guests and making sure everyone always had a drink in their hand. THANK YOU to Martin for making sure everything was always taken care of and that everything ran on time. He truly is a saint for always being so patient with our guests who wanted the party to keep going every night. All of our guests truly came to know and love Martin and even got him to dance on the dance floor with us for a song. The staff truly starts to feel like family as the week progresses and the staff at Playa Fiesta are truly one in a million.
By the time the day of the wedding arrived I truly felt so relaxed and had no doubt in my mind that it was going to be the best day of my life. Being up in the wedding suite all day Lindsay ensured myself and my wedding party had more than enough food and drinks to keep our party going. She constantly kept me updated with how things were progressing throughout the day and even assured me that my guests had left the pool to get ready (as almost everyone was partying at the pool all day).The hair and makeup team were INCREDIBLE and truly brought everyone’s visions to life. The day ran so smoothly that we were ahead of schedule and I got to walk down the aisle early- a testament to how well Lindsay and Gabi ran the day. Eder & Graham (Photography & Videography) were absolutely amazing to work with ensuring we got to enjoy our cocktail hour with our guests and were on the dance floor capturing all the fun us and our guests were having. The fireworks were the BEST decision I made in the planning process as our guests absolutely loved them and were stunned by them. After the fireworks, and 30+ Aggies being able to do the War Hymn, the party really got started with the DJ (Gabis Husband) curating the best lineup of dance music. It truly was the BEST wedding I could have asked for.
From start to finish, my week at Hotel Playa Fiesta was truly the most magical, special, stress free week of my life and I am so incredibly thankful to all of the people who helped make it happen. I don’t think many Brides get to say that their wedding went off without any stress but that is the experience you get when booking with Playa Fiesta. Getting to spend time in paradise with all of your family and friends was the biggest blessing of our lives and I would go back and do it all over again 100 times without changing a single thing. The Most Special Destination Wedding Imaginable
If you're considering a destination wedding, choose Hotel Playa Fiesta! It is an extraordinary experience to have this entire gorgeous boutique hotel all to yourselves, with all 28 rooms occupied by just you and your wedding guests for 4-6 nights. Our close friends and family raved about the special and unique experience, most saying it was "the best wedding they've ever attended".
Having all of your guests under the same roof for 5+ days (along with any additional guests staying nearby), it provided the opportunity not just for us the wedding couple to spend so much quality time with our guests over many days but our guests left Playa Fiesta with new friends and feeling like one big family (some even compared it to "adult summer camp" :).
I don't have words to describe the next-level, luxury hospitality provided by the Playa Fiesta owners and staff. They are a team and a family, with many members of the staff having worked there for decades. The staff memorized our names and our favorite things, and they make you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. The owners and creators of this special place, Adam and Lindsay, are--simply put--good humans. Despite the uncertainty of COVID and having to postpone our wedding from January 2021 to November 2022, Adam was an absolute pleasure to work with during initial stages of the process--incredibly responsive and always willing to hop on the phone to answer our questions. As far as the wedding planning portion of the process, Gabi guided the planning process seamlessly in the months leading up to the wedding, and I can tell you that she gives THE BEST hugs when you at long last get to meet her in person.
When your wedding week finally arrives, Lindsay is there with you every step of the way. Seriously, Lindsay thinks of everything and truly went above and beyond to not only put the wedding couple at ease but to add personal touches and modifications that we certainly couldn't have thought of ourselves to make the wedding week & day that much more special. The staff went well out of their way to make the experience memorable for everyone--including one staff member bringing his personal fishing pole from home just because my father had mentioned off-hand how fun it would be to fish one day. My father had the time of his life , and Playa Fiesta prepared a special plate just for him with bait to ensure he had everything he needed for fishing just a few steps away from the hotel since it's right on the beach.
Lindsay reaches out to check in on us often, even six months after our actual wedding date! It makes me feel like we didn't just pick a wedding venue, but we have joined a special community connected to Playa Fiesta for life and we hope to have a reason to get back there very soon. Adult Summer Camp, Wedding Style!!
This was a 4 night love fest with 48 of our closest friends and family. From start to finish, every detail was perfectly executed! I can't believe they do this EVERY week during the season. My sister and mom are definitely type A and Lindsay was so patient and worked on flowers/center pieces for HOURS with them 2 days before our guests arrived!! Then, fire dancers the first night, karaoke on the rehearsal dinner night and fireworks for my wedding! WHAT?!?! And I love that the 4th night is so chill and everyone is just reminiscing about the week instead of rushing off to a flight home. Lindsay, Gabi, Charly!!! and the ENTIRE HPF team were on point the whole time. They even learn your name and your favorite drink!! and the FOOD!!! I never remember the food at weddings but I will always remember the lobster tail and lamp chops at mine. everyone couldn't t believe how good each meal was. Even the breakfast buffet every morning was delicious with a ton of options. I am still having friends and family text and call me saying they cant stop thinking about the trip and it was such a gift I gave them having my wedding there!!! Good luck finding that anywhere else. What plenty of people spend on one wedding night where im from, we spent on 4 nights! Planning a destination wedding in another country will always feel overwhelming but just trust Lindsay and Adam, trust the process. It WILL be worth it! My husband and I got married at Hotel Playa Fiesta last Friday and had the most magical experience with our closest family and friends that I don't think I'll ever be able to adequately capture in words. Anyone reading this who is considering a destination wedding - DO IT! And do it at HOTEL PLAYA FIESTA! You will not regret the decision to have your loved ones come together here for 4 - 6 days sharing in this special experience together and becoming one family when they leave. It is something you cannot do in a few hours at a traditional wedding and quite frankly, I don't know that it's something that can happen at another venue beside Hotel Playa Fiesta. You walk in the door here, look out on that third floor balcony and you just FEEL the magic right away and you know you are embarking on the most beautiful experience of your life.
I plan events for a living so there are several things I know are important to executing a top tier event and Hotel Playa Fiesta knocks it out of the park on all fronts.
1. Venue - Hotel Playa Fiesta is big enough to accommodate 65 guests onsite in the guest rooms and up to 150 for a wedding and reception with partnerships at neighboring hotels for overflow guests. They also offer options to do a partial or full buyout depending on your anticipated group size. This provides so much flexibility and the ability to tailor the wedding and surrounding events to what works best for any group.
Every single one of the 28 rooms on the property are beautiful from the standard rooms to the suites with panoramic ocean views. No matter where you assign your guests, they are in for a treat during their stay.
The pool/bar area is beautiful and offers the perfect amount of seating, socializing and lounging space for your guests to spend their days as they like whether that means working on their tan, swimming, playing pool volleyball or hanging out with Charly at the bar (10/10 highly recommend spending as much time with Charly as possible, but I'll get to that in my next point!)
2. Staff - This is by far the BEST part of Hotel Playa Fiesta (and that is saying A LOT!). Every single member of the Playa Fiesta staff makes you feel like family from the time you arrive on the property. This begins with the first email/phone interactions with Lindsay and Adam as you discuss reservations and kick off the planning process. They love what they do and they are professionals at making dreams come true! Then Gabi comes into the fold as you begin planning out every last detail of your stay and your wedding day. Gabi is so amazing in her attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and willingness to make everything about your time there perfect. When we arrived on property, we were greeted by the kindest staff and we met Tammy who was Gabi's right hand and always available to us throughout our stay to help with anything and everything and always with a smile. Once you get ready to start the party and head down to the bar you meet the man, the myth, the LEGEND - CHARLY!!!! In all my life I don't think I've ever met a person who was not just great at what they do but exuded a genuine LOVE for what they do the way Charly did! He was the primary bartender for our entire stay and by day two he had everyone's name and favorite drinks memorized and had them ready for us before we even sat down at the bar! It's been a week and all of us can't stop talking about how much we love and miss Charly!
It doesn't stop there, though. Alejandro, Santana, Manuel, Pancho, Rico and Alexis were waiting on us hand and foot the entire trip and made us feel like royalty. Our guests kept saying they felt like they were at a celebrity wedding LOL.
Last but not least, the housekeeping staff was so kind, thorough and left our rooms and all the common areas immaculate every day! Our room was serviced daily by Erik who took the time to ask us about our family, our lives back home and how we were enjoying our stay.
3. FOOD - Every single thing we had from the a la carte breakfast and lunches, the breakfast buffets and all the dinners were delicious! Every guest that arrives is welcomed with a platter of guacamole, pico de gallo and fresh tortilla chips and we lived off that all week. Chilaquiles, beans, rice, carne asada, taco platters, lobster, shrimp, burgers, sandwiches, we loved it ALL! I am still dreaming about the ceviche appetizer from our wedding night!
I could write a book about how incredible Hotel Playa Fiesta is, so I think I'll stop here and end by just saying that this was the best week of our lives. My husband and I invited our loved ones from around the world to join us in celebrating our wedding. Each day we watched as they all mixed and mingled, added each other on social media, compared notes on how they were connected to us, and then formed their own bonds. My cousin summed it up best by saying, "If we didn't know each other before, we're family now." That applies not only to our guests, but to the Hotel Playa Fiesta family as well.

I truly don’t know where to begin. Booking Playa Fiesta as our wedding destination was one of the best decisions we have ever made for so many reasons!
Every single detail from the staff to the planning process, the food, aesthetic and the location deserves so much more than just 5 stars.
For starters Lindsay and Gabi couldn’t have been more kind and generous with their time when it came down to planning and the stay for us and all our guests. We never felt even for a second anything was too much or an inconvenience. When you have over a year to plan, things and ideas change over time and mine did a lot lol. They always had my back and were there to help make everything happen that we hoped for and more. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful and this was the most enjoyable process I could have ever hoped for!
The food! The food was incredible! The reviews of their food was one of the biggest selling points for us and it did not disappoint. You can’t go wrong with anything you order and the staff is the best! I have some food allergies and they took the time to know and accommodate at every meal. That is one of the most stressful things for me while traveling and I didn’t have to worry about it for a moment! Their breakfast buffets, taco platters and guacamole were a few of my favorites!!
The hotel itself will blow you away! There isn’t a single photo or video that will ever due justice to how it is to actually be there. There isn’t a bad room so don’t feel bad about assigning any of them to anyone. They are all beautiful and we couldn’t believe how clean everything was the entire time. I was barefoot 75% of the time and my feet were always clean lol.
The location was stunning! It was so nice to be the last hotel on the beach with unobstructed views down the coast. We ran and worked out on the beach every morning and was the best way for us to start each day. There were jet skis and other water toys to rent right outside the hotel and no vendors at all trying to sell you anything.
The staff…. We have never experience the quality of care, friendliness and attention to detail everyone had. It was such a pleasure getting to know everyone and so awesome seeing the same faces everyday and night. They went above and beyond for us and everyone during our stay and truly made our experience what it was. They helped with all our reservations, transportation and even went to the pharmacy for me when I wasn’t feeling well the last night!
If you are thinking about Playa Fiesta as your wedding/event hotel and venue you should absolutely book as soon as you can! We couldn’t have dreamed of a better more perfect experience from start to finish. We even booked again for 2025 for a family event!!

I had my wedding at Hotel Playa Fiesta last week and to say it was magical is an understatement! First off, the entire wedding planning process before I got there was a breeze. Lindsay and Gabi walk you through every single step and they don't miss anything! Once I arrived on Monday, the views of the resort were absolutely breathe taking and the service was amazing. When you arrive they have every person with you personally escorted to their room and then greet you with chips and guac by the pool. Throughout the week, the staff gave us the best service we have ever received, they remember everyone's drink orders and names. No one could believe it! They also encourage everyone to have a good time and are super friendly. The actual wedding day was completely stress free thanks to Gabi! She took all the burden off of me and just made sure that the wedding party was having fun. Lindsay (the owner) was not able to make it to the wedding, but texted me everyday to make sure that me, my husband and my son were having fun! When we left it felt like we were leaving family! I actually cried when saying goodbye to Gabi, she is such a wonderful human being! This was truly a one-of-a-kind experience and everything that I wanted my wedding to be. I recently got married at Hotel Playa Fiesta, February of 2023 and CANNOT fully put into words how incredible the experience was. As a bride, I had plenty of desires and concerns for my wedding, all of which were handled seamlessly by the team at Playa Fiesta. I found the hotel by a google search about a year and a half in advance, sight unseen, I just had such a good feeling booking our wedding here. We went and visited the hotel then about a year before our wedding and met with Gabi (Hotel Operations and Wedding Coordinator), who showed us around and already felt like we were family when we walked in. My husband and I spoke back and forth with Gabi and Lindsay (Director, Operations & Wedding Coordinator) on numerous occasions, planning every little detail, which they have down to a science. The planning process was so much easier because of these two incredible women. Then we get to the wedding week itself... We arrive and are met by some of the kindest people I have ever encountered. Tammy, who was coordinating with the team all along, met with me and my husband whenever they had a question, (she even managed to use photoshop to create some table numbers to match our place settings in a pinch) but otherwise, left us to enjoy our vacation and be with our family and friends. The food and drinks are out of this world! Charly, Santana, Pancho, Alexis, Alejandro, Alex, Mario... I know I am missing names, but again, I cannot rave enough about this staff and how kind, thoughtful and attentive they all are. Most all of the staff knew most of our guests' names by the first or second day. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, but what Hotel Playa Fiesta does is make the whole week feel like your wedding. Our phrase for the week to all of our friends and family was "Everyone here is just a friend you haven't met yet, or bonus family." This could not be truer about everyone at Playa Fiesta as well. We cannot wait to do a reunion or anniversary trip back here to see everyone again and I truly could not give a better or higher GLOWING review of this place. Best Vacation & Most Magical Wedding Ever!
Hotel Playa Fiesta gave my bride and myself the best day of our lives!
This is not hyperbole. The owners Lindsay and Adam were extremely helpful every step of the way with planning, advising, helping us decide various aspects of our wedding, and Lindsay was an EPIC photographer on our wedding day as well! Lindsay knew everything that was going on with our wedding, and was always nearby with invaluable information about what was next (rehearsal, cake cutting, first dance, etc.), and what to expect. She was the best cheerleader as well, telling us how great we looked with each photo and video she took, and encouraging our decisions from every major aspect such as our dinner menu items, to the minutiae of the font used on our menus.
Our Wedding Coordinator Gabi gave meticulous attention to detail, every major and miniscule aspect was flawlessly planned and executed. It was a pleasure getting to know her personally a bit during the lead up to our big day.
The staff at Playa Fiesta were also wonderful with helping us recommend and schedule shuttle services, wedding flowers, hair & makeup services, Renew IV Bar visits, off site dinner reservations and excursions. They even packed fantastic box lunches for our friends that went on a whale watching tour!
I gave several speeches during our week at Playa Fiesta. I would email them to Lindsay and Gabi, and printed copies with varying font sizes were brought directly to me within the hour to review. We had some guests that were last minute cancellations due to a snowstorm, and the staff removed and re-organized our ceremony seating and reception seating assignments on the go and without any direction from my bride or myself.
Their attention to detail and level of service is simply second to none.
The hotel itself is one of the best on the planet. Two pools, a hot tub, fabulous lounge areas, a sprawling sundeck, five steps from the ocean, gorgeous views of the bay from all of the spacious balconies, and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. I will never forget the sound of the crashing waves waking me up each morning. And we saw a pod of whales from our room nearly every day!
Not to mention that the food at Playa Fiesta left me speechless, and is plated like a Michelin starred restaurant!

We had our wedding at Hotel Playa Fiesta in Puerto Vallarta and it was amazing! The staff was so helpful and accommodating in helping us plan and execute our perfect day. The hotel itself was stunning, with beautiful views of the ocean and the jungle. The staff was also very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our guests were taken care of. I seriously cannot say enough about Gabi, Tammy and Lindsay. All the staff made us feel special. I honestly can tell people that my wedding was literally perfect. Everything went smoothly. Gabi and Tammy always made sure I was feeling my best. Throughout the week, the team at Hotel Playa Fiesta made sure we were all taken care of.
Upon arrival, Tammy gave me a walk-through of the hotel and the room. ALL the rooms are perfect. I was a little worried that the rooms without a balcony were small or not worth it, however that is not the case! Each room has its own charm. I also brought decorations from home and the team executed my vision.
The food was delicious and the service was great. Each one of my guests were constantly saying how good the food was throughout the stay. The wedding food was seriously one of the best plates I have ever tried. Everyone was satisfied and they cannot stop talking about the wedding. I wish I can go back and do it again. I wouldn't change one thing.
All the vendors were also great to work with. The makeup and hair ladies did a great job. My wedding party loved how everything turned out. My makeup and hair was exactly the way I wanted it. They listened to me. I do recommend booking a hair and makeup trial so you can focus on getting your vision across.
I can go on and on about this venue but I am sure all the other brides have done this already. So all I can say is that you will not regret having your wedding here. I promise.
We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our special day. Highly recommend this hotel for a wedding.

Wow. Where do I even begin. This is not just a destination wedding, but truly an experience. I never in my life have experienced the level of service from a hotel staff that we did during our stay here. The staff remembered guests names, their drink orders, and always went above and beyond for every little detail. If you are even considering booking, just do it!
Wedding planning: Lindsay and Gabi are a dream to work with. They make everything SO easy! They worked with me every step of the way. They were super responsive for every little question I had, and always willing to jump on the phone if needed. My wedding day went PERFECTLY. Seriously, nothing went wrong, which I feel is crazy to say, since every wedding usually has a small hiccup.
A few details:
- if you have a wedding group of about 80 or more I highly recommend adding the dance floor extension over the pool! While the bridge over the pool is also great and spacious, we definitely would have run out of space there, and we wanted one designated area for dancing!
Hotel: the feel of this place is more villa-style than hotel, and just as wonderful! The pictures do not do this place justice. It’s seriously so gorgeous. The pools are big! It’s right on the beach. The beach is public, but it was a quieter beach area. The rooms are all so spacious and luxurious.
Other details:
- THE FOOD!! Wow, the food was incredible, all of our guests raved about it. The drinks were strong even with an open bar package. They have a restaurant on-site open for breakfast lunch and dinner each day.
- It was very easy to get to from the airport. We worked with Superior Tours Vallarta to assist with getting our guests there. Astrid and team were great to work with, and even helped group together all the flights and guests to assist.
- if you are able to definitely book the entire hotel for your stay, it was such a unique experience having the whole place be only our guests. We didn’t have to worry about booking pool space or finding places to meet up, like we would if went with a larger resort.
- Having events each night made everything so fun to look forward to! We hosted a white party as our “rehearsal dinner” where all the guests wore white and we wore a color! The entertainment was incredible!
Photography: we chose Yanen Ali for our special day. I loved that she has a more candid-style with her photographs. She turned around a preview within 36hours, which is insane. We ended up upgrading and adding a second photographer, as we had a larger group. It was definitely worth it! Yanen was so easy to work with!

Just book and you'll have no regrets!! We always knew we wanted a location that was intimate for just us and our guests and we truly found more than we could have wanted with Playa Fiesta. We toured 9 other smaller hotels and villas throughout Mex, CR, and Jamaica before settling on this 28-room venue. We are frequent travelers and have stayed at both very high-end and low-end accommodations - PF's hospitality can compete with the best of the best! The venue team truly went above and beyond at every turn: from the initial email through the literal years of planning amidst Covid. Such a huge thank you goes out to the super responsive and organized Lindsay and Gabi!
Everyone on-site knew all guests names by day 2 and all the guests knew Charley (the famous bartender!) Tammy, Gabi, Nino, and so many of the team members by name quickly too because of their amazing service! Lindsay (one of the owners) was a real life fairy godmother -- she helped coordinate a botox and lash appointment when my appointments at home got sidelined. She coordinated a girls’ night out with only a few hours notice that included balloons and decorations at a cocktail lounge. The PF team handled any lingering tasks (put table numbers on seating chart, created/printed reserved signs that I forgot to pack, coordinated a last minute nail appointment on property) ... truly no ask was too great and everything just really ran like a well oiled machine.

(A bride’s perspective) I cannot explain how perfect everything was - there simply are not words. From the moment we got there, we immediately felt comfortable and at home. Lindsay, Adam, Gabi, and the rest of the staff had all of our needs met before we could even think of them. The venue is beautiful, the rooms are massive and stunning, the staff is incredible… it just goes on and on. All of our friends and family consistently told us that our wedding was the most beautiful and memorable they had ever experienced. We had a traditional Jewish wedding and the staff made sure that everything was perfect and as it should be, and everything went flawlessly. We wish we could relive it over and over again. If you’re on the fence, take this as a sign that playa fiesta is the perfect venue for you! -

Perfection!! The wedding of my dreams (bride)
Wow! Wow! Wow! I don’t even know where to begin. my husband and I had our wedding at playa fiesta on December 9, 2022.
I could not have dreamt of a more perfect wedding!! Everything went so smoothly and the wedding turned out to be stunning. (See pictures below). Lindsay and Gabi were always available to answer my emails and questions during the planning process. The communication during the planning phase blew me away! They had everything perfectly organized and made the planning process so much fun.
When we arrived for our wedding week, our family was in awe with the staff at playa fiesta. Honestly, after the wedding, I missed the playa fiesta staff, Lindsay, and Gabi so much! They were perfect!! Lindsay even sewed a clip on my bridesmaid’s dress the day of wedding!! I was shocked that the venue owner/ planner was doing this a few hours before the wedding! She was incredible. Gabi was the perfect wedding planner and helped me keep all the details in order!! I can’t imagine planning a wedding without Lindsay and Gabi.
If I could marry my husband every 5 years at Playa fiesta, I would!! I am already ready to go back. My husband and I hope to celebrate our ten year anniversary at Playa fiesta! If you are getting married in Puerto Vallarta, I can’t recommend hotel playa fiesta enough!
Additionally, the florist deserves a special shout out! The florist and I bonded over the idea of creating a floral alter at the wedding to honor my mother and other loved ones who have passed away. She did an excellent job!! The alter brought many guests to tears and was so special to me and my bridesmaids. three of my bridesmaids have also lost a parent and the alter was such a special part of the weekend. I attached photos of the alter below. The florist also did an incredible job with my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, and the table centerpieces.

INCREDIBLE (from the bride)
Where to even begin?!
To start, the property and location nestled in the mountains and surrounded by flowers was an absolute dream. The property was CLEAN and so beautiful detailed. Everything was beyond our wildest expectations.
THE STAFF!!!!! Wow, wow, wow. Of course Lindsay, Gabi, and Tammy were nothing short of amazing. I (the bride) felt SO taken care of and all of my visions were executed and exactly as I’d imagined (better actually). Charley!!! He is such an icon and everyone in our group enjoyed him. Jose, Manuel, Rico, Alex, Alexis, Santana !!! All of them were incredible.
Special section for Salvador! He went above and beyond as the DJ and we were so impressed! The silent disco was a massive highlight.
THE FOOD!!!!! We weren’t sure what to expect and WOW, it was so good. Coconut shrimp, fish tacos, taco platters, the carne asada on wedding night !! The churros, FRIED ICE CREAM… some of the best food I’ve ever had.
All of our guests had the best time with most of them experiencing things for the first time! Yoga, massages, whale sightings !! It was such a dream.
I will forever have a special place in my heart for this time and this place and these people.

We hosted our wedding at Playa Fiesta the first week of November and it was the perfect venue!! It was so special to have a private hotel to host our family and friends for a few days to celebrate. All of our guests really loved that aspect as well. It made it so easy for everyone to spend time together and get to know everyone. The rooms were so cute and uniquely decorated. Each one a little different making them special and the views were stunning!! People loved playing pool volleyball or lounging on their floats in the second pool. The waiters, bartenders, and staff were so friendly, attentive, and efficient! They made us feel like family! The food was also delicious!
The planning process was incredibly smooth for me thanks to Lindsay, one of the owners, and Gabi, who helped coordinate. I was SO impressed by their organization and communication. They had different wedding and dinner/entertainment packages to choose from with the ability to customize which was perfect for me. It was so fun to have a massage day and surprise fireworks during the reception. Everything was great from the flowers and decor to the music. The ambiance was everything. The lighting and candles made it feel so romantic. The entire stay and wedding day felt stress free thanks to their guidance and hard work. They are so genuine and the sweetest ever! They are so good at what they do and I truly enjoyed working with them!

Incredible!
We got married at Playa Fiesta 14 years ago and brought our kids back with us for a family trip. We always have a great time at this amazing hotel. They arranged for us to have a family photo shoot on the beach with Eder and it was such a fun experience for all of us. We love the location, the new pool, the food, the drinks and everything about this special hotel. Wow- we booked these folks after reading some of the other reviews, and man were our expectations matched and exceeded! If you are looking for an intimate, beautiful and unique destination wedding in Mexico, look no further than Lindsay and Adam's property in PV. First, these folks are some of the nicest, most professional I have ever encountered with event planning. There are SO many little details that go into making that day special, and their team takes care of all of them. It is so easy to select the experience that's right for you and your guests, and they are happy to make accommodations and changes to bring your vision to a reality. Secondly, the team at Hotel Playa Fiesta take so much pride in their work, and it shows in the service you and your guests receive from the minute you arrive. They knew everyone's name in our entire party by day 2, and no ask is too small or impossible. One of our guests took a last swig of beer, and had a new can in his hand in 5 min without even asking because the bartender saw him finish it! Really extraordinary. The little touches they provide you as a couple make it feel so personalized and special as well. Their set up, from the massages to the food (which is amazing BTW), to the activities and really making anything you want to happen possible is wonderful. Their list of vendors they work with are so professional also. The staff planned the day so well I really go to just enjoy every min. with our guests! Who also, will have an incredible time! They will feel like they also got a vacation, and feel pampered and supported. The property is beautiful, each room unique and feels luxe. The beach is right there and their pool is a great size. We made some tweaks to their suggested itinerary and they were more than accommodating. Some suggestions should you have the opportunity to host your wedding here (book far far out because they do a lot of business!): we added 2 days of the massages (rave reviews from all about them), we also skipped one of the dinners and switched it for poolside guac on Sat, instead hosted a cocktail hour at a delightful speakeasy in town that Lindsay helped us find, and left Sat night open to our guests to do what they pleased! Lindsay is also an amazing human who loves her job and her entire staff was incredible to be around. We walked into another hotel after leaving for a few days for a short honeymoon, and I missed the service experience immediately!
