Hotel MdR Marina del Rey - a Doubletree by Hilton Reviews

We chose this Marriott because of the location, the view, and the fact that they allowed for outside catering. We received service beyond our expectations. Ibrahim was our coordinator and Janet was the day of coordinator. Shandra was our first contact. All three were super friendly and made everything very easy. Shandra was able to answer all my questions or get them answered quickly. Ibrahim was with me every step of the way in the planning and was so friendly and eager to help me with just about anything. I really appreciated the time that they put into making our wedding day perfect. It really was perfect! Even the bell man that helped us take our stuff into the car the morning after the wedding was wonderful. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We got married on the helicopter pad and were lucky to have beautiful weather in February.

We saved so much money and the food was great!

The only complaint we had were the day-of event managers. They were weak and not where they needed to be. Other than that - the staff who helped coordinate the event were amazing and flexible. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and the room was fantastic. We were on the helipad which was a touch windy, but fine. The room inside was insane. Ebie and Briana are total pros and make the process easy. Their sales staff however are tough so stand your ground and get what you want before you sign that contract!
