Our wedding journey was nothing short of a fairytale, thanks to the exceptional team at The Graduate. From the ceremony and cocktail hour to the reception and day-after brunch, every moment was flawlessly executed, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
The staff at The Graduate truly deserves accolades for their unwavering dedication and friendliness. At every turn, they went above and beyond to ensure our special day was nothing short of perfection. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of our celebration.
A standout among the incredible staff was Megan Ritter, an absolute gem who played a pivotal role in making our wedding extraordinary. Megan's professionalism and impeccable organizational skills were evident from the beginning. She not only answered our countless emails promptly but did so with a level of enthusiasm and expertise that surpassed all expectations.
Megan's ability to anticipate our needs and think ahead on various occasions truly set her apart. Her proactive approach ensured that every detail, big and small, was taken care of seamlessly. Megan's dedication to her work and genuine passion for creating unforgettable experiences were palpable, and her positive energy added an extra layer of joy to our celebrations.
The Graduate itself provided a stunning backdrop for our festivities, and the flawless coordination by the entire team made the transition from ceremony to reception seamless. The attention to detail in the decor, the delectable offerings during the cocktail hour and reception, and the overall ambiance created an enchanting atmosphere that left our guests in awe.

Wedding Venue Review: 5 stars!
If I could give this venue 10 stars, I absolutely would. Our entire wedding weekend lived here …welcome party, ceremony, reception, after-party, AND Sunday brunch … and somehow it all felt effortless. By the second day, it genuinely felt like we owned the hotel. The staff all around was so kind, patient, and accommodating. Valet was lovely, parking was easy, and everyone made us feel taken care of from start to finish. And honestly we would a rowdy group of 225 insane people and no one even batted an eye at the dancing in the lobby or the excited screams coming from all directions.
Now let me keep it real: I was stressed to the brink leading up to the welcome party. But the moment I stepped onto the property, my whole body just… exhaled. I finally felt at peace. Everything clicked. Everything felt handled. I actually got to enjoy my wedding because of how supported I felt.
We originally worked with Megan, who was amazing. When she left mid-planning, I braced for chaos, but then Hilary stepped in like the wedding fairy godmother I didn’t know I needed. She picked up every detail without missing a beat. Hilary is fun, honest, warm, and just incredibly easy to talk to. She made me feel grounded when I was supposed to be spiraling and genuinely cared about getting everything right. She is a star.
The venue itself has so much character, it’s definitely a busy place, and I can see how that could be a turn-off for some couples. But honestly? It ended up giving our weekend so much personality. Our guests LOVED it. The energy made everything feel alive instead of stiff or too quiet. And we captured some incredible photos that we cannot wait to upload.
If you’re planning here, I highly recommend booking the Presidential Suite. Not only is it huge and perfect for getting ready… but you get access to the rooftop, which was such a gem for quiet moments, photos, and just having a private space above the buzz.
If you want a wedding venue that’s vibrant, welcoming, flexible, and supported by actual humans who care, this is it. And absolutely ask for Hilary. She truly made our weekend unforgettable.-

Dream Come True
Hilary, Jeffery and their team executed a flawless wedding for us. Hilary joined the team later in the planning process but didn’t skip a beat. She took our wedding to the next level with her many years of experience in the field. She is well known by several of our vendors and has a great reputation - she is amazing! We appreciated her outstanding communication from start to finish even when she was sick. All of our vendors had experience with working events at the Graduate Hotel and all said they are by far the best venue in the area to work with due to their willingness to accommodate their customers and their unwavering professionalism. My guests were also blown away! I heard people were guessing we spent way more than we actually did. The food was amazing!! Our dinner portions were huge which is uncommon for large events like this. The bartenders and wait staff had great customer service skills and took care of us very well throughout the entire night!! Thank you Hilary and your team for delivering a wedding we will never forget!!!-

10/10 Recommend The Graduate Annapolis
We booked the Graduate for our wedding reception that followed our USNA Chapel wedding. I highly recommend The Graduate, Hilary, and her extraordinary team for your Annapolis wedding. We planned the entire event during my husband’s deployment and a cross country move. Hilary was kind, detail oriented, and helpful every step of the way. We got so many compliments on the food and the bartenders did an excellent job keeping the drinks flowing. I wanted an orange crush station and they put together the cutest little bar just for my signature cocktail. The atrium was the perfect back drop for cocktail hour and the ballroom made for the most elegant dinner setting for our black tie optional reception. We got married in the middle of July, so the Graduate even brought portable air conditioning units into the ballroom to keep our guests comfortable throughout the night! We had about 200 guests and almost everyone stayed at the hotel. We felt like we could really relax and enjoy the night knowing no one was driving to and from a venue and hotel. Thank you thank you thank you to Hilary and her wonderful team!-

Beautiful Day!
If there was one person who I had to work with for over a year to plan my daughter’s wedding, it wouldn’t have been anyone but Megan Ritter! From the very beginning she was pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Lindsey and Liam’s wedding was everything and more, it was beautiful from start to finish. I couldn’t have imagined navigating the planning process without Megan’s guidance and patience. Her flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of was greatly appreciated. The wedding wouldn't have been such a success without all her help.
It went amazingly well, and I cannot express how appreciative I am of everything that Megan and her team did to make it an incredibly special day.
Megan is a master at her craft and the industry. Graduate Annapolis is so lucky to have her.

Couldn’t have asked for better
Megan and the crew at The Graduate are pros when it comes to coordinating and executing weddings. From the time leading up to the day helping us plan every detail to the day of our wedding seamlessly coordinating the front and back of the house. They were absolutely perfect. This is coming from a client who has 13 years experience in the restaurant/wedding catering industry and I can say with 100% confidence that they delivered on every front. The food was fantastic, the service was superb, and the catering staff might be the most efficient crew I have ever seen.

Megan was amazing to work with!
She answered so many questions for us. And revised our final set up so many times until we were happy.
All the staff was amazing actually. The chef even learned how to make a custom dessert for us.
Our guests loved the beautiful Atrium and we loved the cozy ballroom.
The bridal suite was beautiful with its own patio with lounge chairs and a four person table. Our room came with champagne, bottled AND canned water, chocolate covered strawberries and other gifts.

The best!
Megan & the Graduate crew made our dream become a reality. The venue itself is a stand out and we were grateful to have the awesome indoor spaces on a muggy and rainy Saturday in late June! Megan worked through every detail with my planner and I and confirmed every detail ahead of the big day. She was incredibly flexible with us and some very late cancellations - over the top flexible. On top of all of this, after a booking error on my end, she was able to find a way to accommodate us in the bridal suite for getting ready the day of the wedding with all of my girls. I'm not so sure other venues would have been so accommodating. The food - I mean, my gosh, the FOOD! Our guests were all raving about their meals - every steak cooked just right - and the crab cakes were on point. If there were any hiccups (other than ones I created myself, ha) on the day of, I had no idea as the staff @ the Graduate kept everything moving along smoothly. I really can't say enough great things about this venue. It's such a special place, especially now. :)-

Overall amazing
First off, the venue is beautifully decorated, where added decor is not necessary. Second, they are very reasonably priced compared to some nearby venues and the service and quality doesn't get skimped. Shannon was so responsive and amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. -

The Best of the Best
I cannot express enough how happy my family and I were with the job the Graduate did for our wedding. First off, Shannon was amazing to work with. She was always there to answer my questions and made everything so easy to understand and arrange. Not only that, but she was always on point with breakdowns of costs, timelines, and anything else I needed. Second, there was nothing Shannon couldn't help us arrange. Rehearsal dinner? Done. After-party? Done. Post-wedding brunch? Done. She helped us create a spectacular weekend for our guests that went well beyond what I expected we could arrange. Third, the food at the Graduate is phenomenal. Every meal and drink we had was amazing, and well worth what we spent. Fourth, the staff at the Graduate is incredible. Patrick and Al in the Trophy Room kept our rehearsal dinner guests topped off on drinks and were so kind and attentive. And fifth and finally, you cannot beat the look and location of the Graduate. My bridal suite had the most incredible view of downtown and just affirmed to me why we chose the Graduate for our wedding. It's not your standard run-of-the-mill hotel, and really incorporates the culture and feel of Annapolis into its theming. My husband and I loved that we could deliver a true 'Annapolis' style wedding to our guests, and help all of them discover how unique and special Annapolis, Maryland is.Graduate Annapolis's reply:

Excellent Venue, Great Location
Our wedding at this venue really could not have turned out better. The staff was super helpful, friendly, and very on top of everything. The hotel had plenty of space for hanging out, and having such a large open bar area is great for entertaining larger groups a bit more informally, which we took advantage of.
We held our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all within the hotel. The recently renovated atrium space was really cool and so well done. Everything setup and transition wise was entirely seamless for us and our guests, which is quite the feat! We really felt like we got to sit back and actually enjoy all of our time on our wedding night without having to worry about any of the logistics. We even came back up to room after our reception to a sweet note from our point of contact from the hotel, a bottle of prosecco, a pair of glasses, and these very cute bride and groom ducks.
There were also so many intangibles of having a large, accessible location right on West Street. We were walking distance from so many things for our guests to do during the weekend outside of the wedding and it was actually very awesome seeing our guests really taking advantage of that. So we would definitely recommend this location! -

COVID Flexible and Awesome Events Director
My husband and I had our heart set on Annapolis and the Graduate was stunning! The Atrium was perfect for our ceremony and seamlessly flipped for the cocktail hour. Dinner was fantastic. Guests even commented on how it was some of the best wedding food they'd had! The rooms and themed hotel really were perfect for our wedding plus the guest rooms were impeccable. Because of COVID, we weren't able to do a tasting but Shannon, the events director, steered us towards the best options and it was delicious. In fact, Shannon was the best part of this venue. Her customer service, flexibility, kindness, and guidance made for an amazing experience and day. We are a COVID couple and she really reassured us through everything and always helped us explore "just in case" options We added a lot of different precautions and Shannon was great in executing those for our guests. While Annapolis offers a lot of great venue options, I would 100% pick the Graduate again. -

One to remember forever
If you are looking to have your wedding somewhere, I promise you this hotel knows how to host a event! The hotel staff and managers were very attentive and accommodating and made sure that we didn't have to worry about anything. We especially appreciated working with the Wedding Catering/group Sales manager Shannon. Everyone was very inviting and willing to go the extra mile to make sure our event and guests where taken care of. February 20, 2021 will be a day my wife and I will remember forever. We only live 10 mins away but decided to extend our stay longer because we were having such a good experience. Can't be beat - best wedding venue in Maryland
Our wedding this past weekend at the Graduate Annapolis was the dream wedding, thanks to Shannon Draley and the hotel staff. Originally scheduled at the US Naval Academy, Shannon saved us the day the Academy closed down and took over our wedding planning for us. She did it all - seating, meals, decor, flowers, and the rest, and got us a great deal on a block of rooms. In the end, we had over a dozen attendees staying at the hotel, almost 70 people in attendance, and everything went off without a hitch, no matter how many changes we made poor Shannon make for us. Always professional, polite, and friendly, she handled it all with aplomb and gave us a weekend that can never be beaten. Travis, Ellen, and Lucy at the front desk were also always friendly, completely responsive, and helped us with any request. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say that if you are looking for a wedding venue in Maryland, you MUST select the Graduate Annapolis and ask Shannon to take care of you, and your wedding will be the best!Graduate Annapolis's reply:

Amazing Venue
Our reception at the Graduate Annapolis was nothing short of amazing. Shannon and the entire hotel staff went out of their way to make sure that our day went smoothly. We had spent months anxious about how our wedding would look due to COVID-19, but Shannon and Mario ensured our wedding was both safe and beautiful. We were unable to have a tasting due to COVID-19, however every food we selected was delicious and plentiful. We are still hearing friends and family rave about the food and venue! Most of our guests stayed at the hotel for the weekend and everyone loved the nautical vibe and cleanliness of the rooms. The room we used as the bridal suite was huge--plenty of room for 11 girls to get ready, spend the day, and take pictures in! The guys were able to have their own room downstairs to hang out in. Shannon was knowledgeable, amazing to work with, calming, and so responsive. The entire hotel staff was kind, welcoming, and did whatever they could to ensure that our guests were taken care of all weekend. Overall we were amazed with our experience with Shannon and the Graduate Annapolis and would choose to have our reception here again in a heartbeat!-

Highly Recommend
We were scheduled to have our reception at the Graduate, and we had to cancel due to Coronavirus. I still wanted to write a review for other couples looking for a venue. The wedding coordinator, Shannon, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive when we had questions. The venue is newly renovated and beautiful. We were able to go to a tasting and find out that the food is wonderful! We were very excited for our guests to enjoy the food. Shannon was the absolute best. My wedding day was fantastic.
To start, it is expensive as heck to have a nice wedding in the DC area. Just ridiculous. To that end, my fiance and I spent 2 years trying to find locations that we both liked, that was aesthetically pleasing to both of us, that offered enough space for our guests and that just made sense for us. In the end, Shannon's professionalism, quick responses and great personality were the deciding factor that caused us to choose The Graduate. Though we signed our contract before the transition was made, it was seamless for us and we felt no confusion or discomfort during the renovations.
Our guests and our family enjoyed every part of the wedding. It was a good time, the hotel was lovely and the staff was very helpful. There were some minor challenges: a few of my guests had heat issues in their rooms (and it was super cold on our wedding weekend) but I believe it was handled quickly and my maid of honor and a groomsman were stuck in the elevator for a short time. The staff came to everyone's assistance immediately and no one seemed too bothered by the inconveniences.
The packages that are offered are nice and including open bar with the packages was another strong deciding factor for us. My guests are still talking about their meals; the salmon with the mustard sauce was a huge hit. The tasting that we did months before the wedding was great. Though the hotel was in the midst of renovations, the service was impeccable, Shannon was superbly helpful and the food was presented well. Be hungry when you go though. It's a lot of food.
If you are considering this venue, based on my experience I say go for it. They are a great team, very helpful, very considerate. They worked well with my vendors and with a very nervous, jittery bride. I cannot say enough good things about The Graduate.
In terms of cost, you could possibly find less expensive options but not with the level of service that this team offers. If I were to do it over, I would choose The Graduate again.-

Amazing team of people! Dream Wedding!
We just had our wedding reception at the Graduate Annapolis on Nov. 23 and it was amazing! We had a huge reception with 180 guests and my family and friends haven’t stopped complimenting us.
To start of, Shannon Draley is absolutely a dream to work with! She completely eased my mind of all the stress and saw our vision of how we wanted our reception to flow. She completely nailed it and listened to every one of our suggestions and made her the whole team at the hotel was on the same page. Months leading up to the wedding, she answered all my silly questions right away. She is very organized and detailed oriented, which is exactly what you need when planning a wedding! I can’t thank her enough for all her time and patience with us. My mom was ready to adopt her in our family after working with her so much... LOL
When it came time for the wedding weekend, we had a lot of guests stay right at the hotel which was so convenient. It's walking distance downtown and there is plenty to do in the area. Perfect location! Rita did a wonderful job of organizing our room blocks. We were able to get a great rate for all our guests that weekend. Other hotels with ballrooms in the area were far more expensive for that weekend. It was great because all the guests could just go back to their rooms when the party was over! Our guests continued the party to the new restaurant bar after the reception.
The newly renovated Graduate is beautiful. The rooms have their own unique charm and super comfy beds! My bridal party loved getting ready in the admiral suite. There was lots of room for all my bridesmaids to get their hair and makeup done. We also did a private wedding brunch the following day at the hotel and it was absolutely perfect. They had an amazing breakfast spread and even served some of our leftover wedding cake.
Last but definitely not least, the food at our reception was AMAZING! All of the appetizers we had during cocktail hour were so good! We had two huge platters of cheeses, fruits and vegetables in the middle of the atrium area with several tasty passed hors d'oeuvres. For dinner, we had the option of the filet & crabcake or mahogany chicken. Most of our guests ordered the filet and crab cake duet as an entree and it was so so good. We were worried since there were so many people that the food would just be okay, but it was honestly one of the best crab cakes we’ve ever had. And the steak was cooked perfectly! People were raving about the food. The chicken was also very good! We got the Parmesan risotto and green beans as a side and they were perfect sides for the meals.
The staff at the Graduate Hotel made sure our wedding weekend was flawless! They were so accommodating and eased my mind during a stressful time. They made sure that all our guests were completely satisfied. I want to give a shout out to Erick for taking care of us all weekend. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Also thank you to Blanca for making sure the bride and groom were fed! Her service was amazing! I would definitely recommend the Graduate Hotel to any couple! Best Night of Our Lives!
We loved our wedding venue, the Hotel Annapolis! They are currently transitioning, but if you hear good things about Lowes, Hotel Annapolis, or Graduate, it's where we had our special day and it was absolutely perfect.
We primarily worked with Shannon Draley in the planning stages. We picked this venue because it was local, parking was plentiful for our guests, and the convenience of having everything right there at the hotel was unbeatable. Our food, drink, accommodations, rehearsal, ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner/dancing reception were all through the Hotel Annapolis.
Food was a top priority for us, and the hotel DELIVERED! Our tasting was easily our favorite part of wedding planning. The appetizers were incredible -- full cheese and fruit/veggie displays, mini quesadillas, shrimp wrapped scallops, beef and pickled onion crostini, bruschetta, and mini crab cakes. We had a bountiful buffet dinner -- caesar and house salad options with toppings to pick and choose from, baked potato soup per our custom order, crab cakes with Old Bay remoulade, mahogany chicken, beef carving station, steamed broccoli and carrots, and parmesan risotto.
The entire service staff tending to us was so responsive, kind, and positive. They checked in on us frequently, assisting with set up to bring our vision to life, hunting down a nice podium for our ceremony readings, refilling our glasses and getting us drinks from the bar during the reception. Truly lovely. We felt so pampered.
The Power House was an excellent spot for us. Perfect size for our guest count. We had the ceremony on the first floor, cocktail hour on the second floor, and dinner/dancing on the third floor. They recently renovated, both in the hotel and in the Power House, to reflect a nautical/Annapolis theme. The brick and big windows of the Power House remain the most beautiful element of the space. Looking forward to getting some great pictures back soon!
We would recommend this venue to others! We were able to have a stress-free wedding because of the wonderful staff. We loved being within walking distance for historic downtown Annapolis, where we've had many a date :). We had plenty of beautiful photo opportunities, especially having our first look at the State House.
TLDR; Shannon and the service team at the Hotel Annapolis were amazing and accommodating. Our wedding day was flawless. This was the perfect event space, food, and geographic location for us as a couple to host our wedding celebration. 10/10, would recommend! -

We just had our wedding reception at the Loews last month. We used their Powerhouse building and had the most unique and wonderful experience that left our guests raving. The staff was pampering, attentive, accommodating, and all around top quality. We worked with Holly Greve until her retirement, and then worked with Rosemary Whelan, who seamlessly took control of our event. They took care of everything we needed to and I would choose them again in a heartbeat. They hosted our crazy family for the weekend and gave us great cocktails (including a custom cocktail my guests demanded the recipe for), delicious food I want to go back and order, and gorgeous accommodations in the heart of the city. I would really recommend letting the Loews Annapolis handle your special event. -

I could not think of a better venue for our wedding. Growing up in Annapolis I always dreamed of a nautical themed wedding downtown Annapolis. My husband and I looked at over 10 venues between Philadelphia (where we currently live) and Annapolis. Holly Greve was the only person at any of these venues that asked us about our story and wanted to get to know us as a couple before trying to sell us on the location. Holly was a huge reason why we chose the Loews. From the first initial meeting until the end of our wedding Holly and her team were there accommodating any need or request I ever had. The Loews is the best hotel in town. Every detail we had planned with Holly was executed perfectly. The next day they had everything packed up waiting for us to take it away. I can't say enough about the Loews, Holly Greve, and her team.
The only hiccup my family and I encountered was that we knew we had a dollar minimum to hit but we didn't realize until later that the minimum did not include tax which ended up being another $5k or so. Re-reading the contract it is stated but not clearly. -

I don't know where to start. Holly!!! She is one amazing woman, she was always there for guidance,asking questions, whatever it took for her to create your dream reception. My daughter was amazed at how everything turned out. My husband and I are still receiving compliments on the most beautiful, best reception they had ever attended. I did not hire a wedding planner and Holly stepped right into the role of helper along with all her other duties, no matter the question or when I called her the response was immediate. It was a little pricey but we definitely got what we paid for!! I would recommend this venue to anyone. Holly is amazing. You can't go wrong here. Thank you Holly and your staff!!!!! -

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the entire staff at Loew's was for our wedding weekend! We held our cocktail hour in the Atrium, our reception in the Ballroom and held a brunch there the next morning. Holly, the wedding coordinator is absolutely amazing and helped me make the whole weekend a dream come true! Tons of our guests said the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding! -

Our wedding on April 16, 2016 went off without a single hitch, and it is all thanks to the Loews' wonderful fairy godmother/catering manager Holly Greve! I planned our wedding long distance, and Holly was always prompt in responding via email and in answering any questions I had. She coordinated with all our vendors, ensuring everyone got set up and knew when they were supposed to be there. Holly truly went above and beyond; she allowed my bridesmaids to have their Rent the Runway dresses shipped to her office and accepted my mother's last minute floral order addition (three large boxes of flowers and vases) without batting an eye. This woman is also a mind reader-she must have known I didn't care for the chairs provided, so she had a different style brought over from one of the meeting rooms, and must have known that my fiance and I were never going to agree on a signature drink, so she graciously suggested having both. She even went over to the hotel bar to round up any lingering wedding guests as our cocktail hour kicked off. I could go on and on about Holly, but ultimately, she is a true seasoned professional who made our wedding the most perfect day.
The Loews was a wonderful venue. The Powerhouse is a three story building across from the hotel lobby, with a floor for cocktail hour, another for dinner, and another for dancing. Factor in slightly higher decor costs as you must decorate three separate spaces but let me assure you, it's all money well spent and our guests liked the "progressive dinner" feel. The food was incredible; we had guests coming up to say it was not only the best wedding food they've ever had, but some of the best food they've had, period!
Bottom line- we had an incredible wedding experience with the Loews, and Holly Greve alone would make it worth your while. I wouldn't change a thing. -

My wedding on April 9, 2016 was everything that I wanted it to be. I wouldn't have changed one thing about it. Holly Greve is astounding, and she will make sure that your day goes off without a hitch. She is the reason that we booked the Loews, and she and her team are the reason that our day was perfect.
Pros (in no particular order)
--Holly Greve, your personal event/catering manager. Seriously, she is amazing.
--THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. Your guests will leave completely satisfied.
--The space: the hotel is gorgeous, the ballroom is spacious, and the overnight accommodations are comfortable and incredible.
--You get a separate cocktail hour room and a separate ballroom. The cocktail room then gives your guests a place to escape the loud music once dancing starts. (The rooms are back-to-back/share a wall, so guests can easily move back and forth.) This also helps keep the bar and non-dinner food separate away from the craziness that the ballroom becomes once dancing starts.
--Buses can pull up right in front of the hotel if you are providing transportation to the ceremony.
--Location: After the reception is over, you are in the heart of downtown, so you can continue your party at a local bar
--BAROAK: If you want to continue your party without traveling too far, there is a restaurant/bar in the hotel.
Cons
--Pricey, but for downtown Annapolis it wasn't any costlier than the other venues of a similar size, and we preferred the layout, venue space, and packages compared to the other venues (personal preference)
The Loews was incredible. You cannot go wrong with the Loews and with Holly. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. -

Where do I even begin??
In the days before our wedding, a very unstable environment settled over Baltimore as demonstrations and protests brought our beautiful city to its knees. Our original wedding venue (correctly) decided with a heavy heart to cancel our event out of concern for the safety of our guests and vendors. What was a bride to do?? With my head spinning, I started cold-calling venues immediately. Our DJ then made the fateful recommendation that we contact the Loews Annapolis Hotel.
Mind you, the wedding was only 4 days away and we needed a brand new ceremony space, reception venue and rehearsal dinner space. When I first spoke with Michael (director of catering), I was so surprised to hear him invite me out to examine the premises to make sure it was what I wanted. At this point, I figured what I wanted had to be thrown out the window -- I was prepared to accept anything that was available! We walked through all of the available spaces, he poured me some wine to calm my nerves and sent me home with enough information to share with my fiance and my parents to make a sound decision.
And then I met Holly. Brides -- if you could have one critical individual in your planning process, you need a Holly in your life! I knew INSTANTLY that I was in good, experienced hands when she didn't even bat an eyelash at the thought of putting together a wedding in a matter of days. She made our day even more memorable than what I had originally planned! Holly was the true brains behind the operation. She and her staff kept the day running like clockwork; she coordinated with my vendors and gave them completely new itineraries and instructions without my involvement. She kept the groomsmen in line :)
The compliments were endless -- I made absolutely certain to remind each guest that none of this would have been possible without the true dedication to customer satisfaction and service by the staff at the Loews. We are forever grateful and indebted to you. -

We absolutely loved having our reception at the Loews. Working with the coordinator, Holly Greve, was fun and easy and she really went above and beyond every step of the way. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the food was amazing, and the service was beyond exceptional. After our wedding, we had so many guests comment on the venue. Many of them said that the hotel really made us feel like we were the only ones there and that we were their top priority. All of the food and drinks were delicious and everything just ran really smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better venue! -

Loews Annapolis couldn't have been a better choice for my wedding reception. I was initially hesitant to have a hotel wedding reception, but this venue exceeded all expectations. The hotel has just been remodeled, so the reception site and Atrium looked awesome. I especially loved the nautical decor of the hotel, and the sails and outdoor feel in the Atrium (where we had cocktail hour). The wedding coordinator of the Loews, Holly Greve, is absolutely amazing. She was available anytime from start to finish to answer all questions and do everything possible to make my wedding vision come true. She truly went above and beyond in every aspect of the wedding and made planning an out-of-town wedding such a breeze for my mom and I. She set up the venue perfectly, had wonderful suggestions and ideas, and accommodated all of my requests. The bridal suite at the Loews is also a fabulous place to get ready with the bridesmaids, and Holly even set it up for my husband and I to have dinner together alone on the balcony before the reception began.
The entire staff of the Loews were also amazing, friendly, and accommodating for all of the guests. Everyone was very pleased with the customer service they received. The catering staff was also superb!! The food was out of this world, and every guest commented about the "best wedding food they've ever had." We had about 200 guests so I was expected delays with the dancing because of the amount of people needed to be served, but the wait staff was extremely quick and everyone had their hot food right away.
Overall I cannot say enough great things about this venue and it's amazing staff. You will surely have the wedding of your dreams at the Loews Annapolis!!! -

Holly Greve is a dream come true!! Everything from start to finish was superb. Holly had everything organized from start to finish. I never had to worry about a thing. We just had our wedding and reception at the Loews Annapolis Hotel. We loved it... The staff are amazing all geared to costumer service. The wedding coordinator Holly Greve is amazing, she helped from start to finish and made our so special.
We would recommend the Loews Annapolis Hotel anytime. If you like great costumer service, great location and awesome staff, Loews Annapolis Hotel is the place to go.

I cannot even begin to express how utterly pleased we were with the attentive service we received from the entire Loews staff, especially Wedding Coordinator, Holly Greve.
From the very beginning of our wedding planning process, Holly walked us through every step and provided superb expertise when helping us plan every detail from decor to menu to bar selections. She helped guide our vendor rental process for linens, chairs and chargers. She truly turned our wedding vision into a reality. She truly listened to us, our requests, our ideas and made them come true. It sounds cliche, but when I saw everything set up for the very first time, I nearly started to cry because it was so perfect and beautiful.
Working with Holly is a dream. We didn't have a DOC or event stylist because we didn't need one thanks to her. The entire hotel staff catered to every need and took care of not just us and our families, but all of our guests. It was a perfect weekend and that is largely in part due to Holly, her staff and the rest of the Loews Annapolis Hotel employees. I cannot say enough good things about them and recommend them to everyone who is looking for a reception venue in the Annapolis area. The stress of wedding planning will evaporate once you book Loews Hotel! -

Awesome! We had our ceremony in the Powerhouse - very quaint. The food was outstanding - people are still talking about the salmon Wellington! They accommodated us to move the wedding and reception two hous earlier due to hurricane Irene. I highly recommend, and the wedding coordinator Holly was great! -

he best decision I made for our wedding was choosing Loews Hotel. Holly Greve was so easy to work with and was able to accommodate all of our requests. On the day of she was always around making sure things were flowing smoothly. The space was great - perfect for my 175 person guest list. After the wedding I had anticipated having to gather the gifts and help with some clean up, but Holly and her staff had everything stacked in piles in our room (the best room in the hotel!) by the time our reception was over.
I only had one issue the whole weekend -- my guests were supposed to get reduced rate parking, but when they started looking at their bills the next morning they had been charged the full price. I was going to call Holly and ask her to take care of it... but with the honeymoon I didn't get a chance to do it right after the wedding. Before we even got back into town Holly and her staff had figured out the error on their own and had reimbursed our guests! Nice and easy.
Would recommend Loews to anyone! Plus... having downtown Annapolis within walking distance was another bonus. -

Look no further - this is your hotel!!!
We went with the Loews for our guest accommodations after talking to many hotels in the area. Everywhere else I called would only give us rooms in small blocks which concerned me because I was afraid they would sell out before all of my guests were able to reserve their rooms. Then I called the Loews and talked to Kelly who said "Of course I can give you 25 rooms!" So we went with the Loews. What a great decision!!! I worked with Allison and she was so great - she always got back to me quickly and with answers to all of my questions. She made everything so easy.
The rate they gave us was great and all of my guests were thrilled with their rooms and the hotel location. -

Truly a fantastic venue to have the reception at. Our reception was in the Power House, separate from the hotel building and it was perfect for our reception. The staff was waiting on us hand and foot, and the guests were astonished with the amount of food and drinks they were given. The wedding coordinator did everything she could to make adjustments for our reception and worked with us from the moment we inquired. She was an excellent adviser for all things reception. The quality of service could not have been topped. We are so glad that we had the reception here instead of any other place down town and I KNOW that our service was insurmountable. -

Amazing amazing amazing place to have your reception. We chose the tri-level "Powerhouse" building at the Loews to give our reception a more intimate and trendy feel. The reception was PERFECT and it could not have been close to that without the help of the event coordinator, Holly Greeves. She is so considerate of her bride and groom and takes care of you from the time you tour the property to the time you finish your reception. Most of our vendors were from her recommendation since I wasn't from the area. I would do this again in a HEART BEAT. You can't go wrong here! Holly is the icing on the cake!! -

This hotel gave my husband and I everything we could possibly want in a reception! The food was outstanding and the ability to use the atrium for the cocktail hour was great. The service was amazing. I have no complaints about my experience with Loews Annapolis Hotel. Holly was our coordinator and she did an outstanding job making my vision a reality. -

The Loews is amazing to work with! Holly does such a great job providing suggestions but accommodating your desires as a couple. They were are very flexible as far as our reception and things we wanted. Holly is so fun, energetic and knows what she is doing! The service goes above and beyond at this hotel! -

All construction was done prior to my wedding which made for more options and a cleaner, nicer look. We had our cocktail hour in the room where the old bar/restaurant was which allowed us to have guests enjoy the perfect weather outside. We then used both the Atrium and ballroom for dinner and dancing. We used the side room "Windjammer" for the photobooth and candy bar which turned out great. It was the perfect space for our ~ 200 guests. The staff was very professional and worked with us, including accommodating our last minute requests. The price is a little high (average for the nicer hotels in historic Annapolis) but you are getting a great location with walkable attractions for out of town guests. Most of our guests ended up staying in the hotel which was very convenient! -

Wonderful Wedding Weekend
We fell in love with the venue after a tour with the wonderful Shannon Draley, Catering & Group Sales Manager. The sunlit atrium, updated colorful rooms, and close proximity to the waterfront/dock had us sold. The unique nod to history throughout the décor and things like the keycards is very special. The bad: we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID-19. Our catering agreement stayed the same but the room rate agreement doubled - a big bummer. Couple hiccups reserving suites. Elevators run slowly and staff is not sure why. The good: all Graduate staff were extremely helpful and gave my husband and I the most memorable wedding experience that was worth the wait. Delicious menu, good size dance floor in the ballroom, clean, worked with our vendors well, fun bar/restaurant Trophy Room where we stayed for hours after the reception. Our families and guests were content with their stay. Great Admiral Suite - sunny and spacious for large bridal party and nice balcony. We'll be back!-

Flawless NYE Wedding
When we first booked this venue it was still the Loews Hotel. A few months later we learned that the hotel was sold to the Graduate corporation and I immediately panicked. This scary scenario turned into the best thing that ever happened to us. We worked with Shannon mostly during the planing processes and she was wonderful to work with. She stayed completely calm during all of my minor bride meltdowns and came up with a plan Bs that always turned out better than the original plan As. We also worked with Eric while we were at the venue. He was also super accommodating. We seriously felt like we were VIP rock stars.
The hotel staff was wonderful and very accommodating. 90% of our wedding guests came from out of town and the majority of them stayed at the hotel. We had zero complaints and everyone complimented how wonderful everyone was.
We were blown away by the food at our tasting and that same quality stayed consistent at the wedding. The catering department also did amazing job when it came to accommodating food allergies.
The hotel completed renovations in November 2019, and they did a wonderful job.
I would highly recommend using the Graduate Annapolis as a ceremony and/or reception venue.Graduate Annapolis's reply:

April 30, 2016 was truly "the best day ever" thanks to Holly Greve and the Loews Hotel! Holly was a true professional - making sure that everything was picture perfect on the day of our wedding. She and the team at Loews delivered on every promise they made: from exceptional service, to the outstanding menu options, this beautiful Annapolis venue did not disappoint. We had countless guests tell us that this was the best meal they'd ever had at a wedding! The Loews Hotel is a perfect location for any large Annapolis wedding!
The Loews was incredible. You cannot go wrong with the Loews and with Holly. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

The Loews was a perfect location for our wedding as 90% of our guests were traveling from out of town. The venue itself is beautiful and Holly was helpful throughout the entire process. We felt completely taken care of the day of our wedding and everything went smoothly. The only problems we came across were ensuring enough room blocks for our guests, which ended up being taken care of and also on the night of our wedding, dealing with the late night staff. They were not very friendly to us or our wedding party. However, the rest of the day was wonderful and all of our guests who stayed at the hotel continue to rave about how perfect it all was. We loved Erich who catered to us and our parents throughout the night of the wedding as well as the next morning brunch. He was fabulous! The other wonderful experience was with the wedding suite. The bridal party used the suite in the morning for getting ready and it was plenty big for all 10 of us and has a beautiful balcony/patio which overlooks Annapolis. Perfect location for a downtown Annapolis wedding!! -

Amazing Food and Beautiful Venue!
We were so happy with our reception at The Graduate Annapolis! First, even without decorations, it is a lovely space with a very nautical vibe which was perfect for what we envisioned. They offered so many items for decor including a variety of table linens, napkins, hurricane vases, votive candles, chairs, etc. and most was included in our venue rental which was great. Megan was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and was able to help us bring our vision to life. Additionally, the food was absolutely incredible. We are so blown away at how delicious everything was from the hor dourves, cocktail hour displays, salads, and dinner options. Our guests are still talking about how good the food was! I also thought it was reasonably priced for how much food is provided in the package we selected. Overall, the venue was very easy to work with and everything turn out great!Graduate Annapolis's reply:

Great wedding
Shannon was such an amazing event coordinator to work with. She was flexible with our changes, frequent updates, and very knowledgable about what would help the event run smoothly. The Graduate Annapolis is a beautiful venue and all our guests raved about the fun vibe and natural decor. The exec chef was very helpful with accommodating our Italian cuisine theme, too. -

The Loews Annapolis Hotel could not have been a more perfect place for our wedding guests to stay and to host our post-wedding brunch. They were extremely responsive and flexible since our wedding was the same weekend as Memorial Day weekend and the Naval Academy's graduation. From the rooms to the brunch, it was one of the things on my wedding list I did not have to worry about. Their recommendations and service was incredible and I would be happy to recommend this venue to anyone. -

Loew's Annapolis was great during our wedding weekend and up until recently left very fond memories for both my husband and I of our wedding weekend. We used Loew's for our primary room block and also the day after brunch. We had some friends tell us that they left some gifts for us at the brunch however we didn't see them. I emailed my catering point of contact, Holly, prior to leaving for our honeymoon but was informed nothing was found. I was traveling out of the country most of the next two months and I missed a voicemail from the Loews saying they had found my gifts, at the end of June. When I did call them back, the front desk informed me they "donated" our wedding gifts that had been left. I understand a bit of time had passed between the wedding and when I called but I feel that it is completely unacceptable and unprofessional to donate a bride and groom's gifts without making significant effort to contact them and notifying them via email or voicemail you plan on "donating" their wedding gifts. We are absolutely heartbroken and devastated by the actions made by the Loews team. -

After our wedding reception at the Loews Powerhouse, I have mixed feelings. There were some really great things- the Powerhouse is such a unique venue, you can't beat the location and access to DTA and the USNA, and the food at the Loews is incredible. But, I didn't find the staff to be very helpful during the planning. A big reason I booked with the Loews was because Holly, the former coordinator, was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was in great hands- something I needed as I was planning this wedding from OH while my fiancé was stationed in CA. Unfortunately, Holly didn't tell me she was retiring, and the transition to Rosemary was less than seamless. Suddenly things were costing different amounts, we weren't allowed to do things Holly said would be no issue, emails weren't being returned, etc. We eventually were able to work things out, but with quite a bit more legwork on my end than I anticipated. For the actual wedding weekend, there were more mistakes than I would have liked. A couple decorations were set up wrong, they forgot about our vendor meals, one of the banquet captains told me my meal count and seating chart were wrong (it wasn't), and the day after they forgot to give us back some of the decorations. In the long run, all minor things- everyone got their meals eventually, the decorations got shipped back. Probably my biggest disappointment though, is how they handled our final bill. The accounting department was completely incompetent. Our final bill was charged to us three separate times, twice on the wrong credit card, and they sent us an extra bill for things that should have been charged to my parents. It took two weeks, hours poring through credit card statements and itemized invoices to show them where they went wrong and to finally get it sorted out. All in all- we're married, we had a great day, our guests had fun, but I really didn't expect everything to be as much of a headache as it was.

We chose the Loews Hotel Annapolis for a 2night stay for our wedding party and our guests stayed there also. The hotel is an overall nice hotel within walking distance to Annapolis Main street. That is about all the good I can say about it other than one of the hair dressers in the salon is exceptionally talented, the rest not so. Don't even go near the makeup artist. The Valet guys are friendly and helpful. The receptionists were not very friendly,compared with other hotels we've stayed at. The value for money: not really any. We did get a bottle of champagne in our wedding room suite and chocolate covered strawberries, that was a nice touch, but everything that happened after that dampenned the nice touch.
I had ordered a lunch through catering to be brought up at a specific time, it was 1h late, (they seemed to have the wrong room number) so no one had time to eat it and we were still charged a nice price for it, it did look like a very nice lunch too, so it was such a shame to waste most of it. Upon checking out, once we got home, we realized our credit cards had been charged 5x for the cost of the rooms we had used and then they had added a charge for 2 more rooms over the two nights which we never used..., basically, we found they had charged up to $8,000 on our cards, our cards were frozen as a consequence and we had to spend many hours on the phone with the manager to sort it all out! What were we given for our troubles? two free nights stay....we certainly don't want to stay there again, and would certainly not recommend the place for a wedding venue, let alone a wedding room block.

We had our daughter's wedding reception at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis. I cannot recommend it. The venue itself is convenient to Annapolis attractions but ugly. You can, however, rent an old tattered white curtain to cover the numerous exit doors and lighted signs. While the salmon dish we had was good, the meat dish was just awful - I don't mean mediocre, I mean awful as in embarrassing. And the presentation was worse! Appetizers were mediocre at best. We paid over $130/person. I don't feel there was any value for the money. However, there are few choices in Annapolis for a large reception that is convenient to downtown. -

Be Cautious
We loved the aesthetics of this venue. Unfortunately, the team at The Graduate did not deliver on our big day. Shannon Draley is the coordinator we communicated with throughout the process. While Shannon is very responsive via email and kind, unfortunately, she provides little guidance on any part of the process. I was constantly emailing her to ask questions and set up times to meet because she provided nothing and I felt in the dark. I have never been married before so did not know when things needed to be done and she did not set up a single call or meeting to help me. I set up the meetings, tastings, final walk through, decor drop off, etc. We postponed twice due to COVID and she did not provide any reassurance or inform us about COVID protocols or changes - another thing I had to ask repeatedly. On the day of the wedding the room was set up as we discussed. However, she did not pay attention to the timeline all evening and we only saw her once that day so not sure where she was all night. The biggest issue was the food service. There was a severe lack of appetizers served. We paid for passed hors d'oeuvres for our 170 guest wedding. The few waiters walked around with trays of appetizers once in that entire hour. There was one small cheese tray that was empty in minutes and never refilled until my parents went to find Shannon or an employee - very hard to find any employee all night. Disgraceful. Our guests were starving the entire cocktail hour. The bar service was great and moved people through quickly. The reception food also was a disaster. The food that was served at the wedding was NOT at all what we chose during our tasting and ordered on our final banquet order. The chicken served to our guests was the same bland grilled chicken the vendor meals receive - we had ordered a mahogany chicken dish for which we were paying extra (not a bland chicken breast). The risotto was cold and crunchy. The employees also did not know how to cut a wedding cake and butchered our cake. Guests received very tiny thin slivers of cake and reported after the wedding that it was good but they only got about 2 bites. The food and service was an utter embarrassment. When asking the next day what happened Shannon and Mario had nothing to say but there was a new chef who did not know what to cook. There was no way to justify what occurred. Luckily, our band and other vendors saved the day and shined. The hotel bar/restaurant is great for an after party. Though the venue itself is gorgeous and a great size space I would proceed with a lot of caution, especially for a large wedding because clearly this team is not equipped to serve a large wedding. -
