They were awesome! My event ran so smoothly and I didn't have to worry about anything! The food was amazing!

We decided to book the Horizon Convention Center because of all of the options they had availiable and because of the enthusiasm of our coordinator, Amy Deweese. First off, the HCC offered an amazing room with twinkle lights that I could not pass up! The large Delaware Room was perfect for hosting our ceremony and reception in one room. The decorations were beautiful, thanks to Amy and her team. I went in not really knowing what I actually wanted as the theme, decorations, styling, and just about everything else that goes into a wedding. Amy was so supportive and she offered great suggestions that turned out to be exactly what I wanted! Amy was great to work with! I don't think I was very bridezilla and she was the perfect support system for me. I didn't know much about what I wanted and she did a great job helping me plan the most amazing event ever.

Our day was perfect. There wasn't an issue that we were made aware of - hopefully there were no issues but that was a great part of the HCC, they would fix anything that may have come up. The food was amazing, the decorations were perfect and all of our guests were wowed by the whole event. With Amy and the HCC team my husband and I were actually able to completely enjoy our wedding. We dances, we mingled and we enjoyed every minute of it without worrying that things weren't getting done, or that something was going to go wrong.
HCC may be a little on the high-end for Muncie weddings but we think that was is provided is beyond worth it. Our family didn't have to set up anything, buy or create any decorations, and no one had to clean the place up afterwards. It was a wedding everyone was able to enjoy and no one was needed to take care of anything. It was perfect! We highly recommend this for any event, but especially weddings.

Amy was our planner and everything was amazing! Everything is included depending which package you get. Our room was beautiful and everything looked exactly as I imagined it would! It was beautiful and everyone was so helpful throughout the whole process.

My fiancé and I began looking at venues the week we got engaged (18 months out). We toured 8 different venues in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. We had sketched out what features we wanted, including: separate spaces for a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, a lot of parking (most of our guests were driving to our wedding), and easy handicap accessibility (this was important for our older guests). These are in addition to all of the usual things like great service, interesting architecture, and modern amenities.
We found what we were looking for at the Horizon Convention Center (HCC). We were able to have HCC’s platinum decor and menu package (including beef filet and a champagne toast for all of our guests) for less than the price of the lowest tier buffet at many comparable venues in Indianapolis. Amy, Melissa, Monica, Chef Caleb, and the rest of the staff were very easy to work with. From our first interaction, they made it clear that they would do anything in their power to make our wedding vision happen. They took our theme and ran with it. Our wedding was lavishly decorated, without being gaudy, and remained within our budget. The food (both for the rehearsal and reception) was delicious, hot, and served quickly. The wait-staff and bartenders were professional and polite. Many of our guests complimented the flow and organization of the entire day. This venue is a gem in Indiana. If we had to plan the entire day over again, we would skip the tours and jump right into planning with Amy. I can't say enough about how great our experience was.

Horizon was awesome! They took care of everything for us. We literally walked in and walked out. Amy was the person in charge of our event and she was amazing. We took our things to her 10 days before the wedding and we told her everything we wanted. She made sure to get every single detail and did it correctly. It was so nice and hassle free. The venue was absolutely beautiful. We couldn't be more pleased with our wedding reception.

HCC was amazing, from the venue to the people behind the scenes. From day one I felt like everything was about me, I truely felt that everyone of HCC was there for me. My coordinator was there for me whenever I called or sent her an email. I had an answer by noon the next day. I had used two outside vendors and about two weeks before the big day my coordinator took charge and she pulled it all together for me. Come my wedding day my only worry was if I was going to smudge my make-up too much during the ceremony. My hubby and I didn't have th biggest budget but HCC took what we had and gave us beautiful decorations. Everything was so expensive looking, all of my guests assumed we had spent 3 times more than we had. Nothing was spared from HCC, we had security every where we needed security. My husband and I highly recommend HCC to the planning bride.

I love this place. It is so beautiful and inexpensive! You get so much for what you pay for. I was able to create a wedding on a very small budget but my guests will never know. I would recommend this location to anyone.

AMAZING VENUE! The staff was so nice and willing to HELP with ANYTHING we needed! I did not have to worry about decorating for the reception at all they took care of it all. I only had to have the cake a party favors delivered. Great Venue I would highly recommend the venue to every bride who wants a worry free day! :)

The convention center is beautiful and is continuing to look better and better with their new renovations. With the construction of the new hotel, navigating was a little difficult. But over all they are all very helpful and friendly.
