I had the BEST experience dress shopping here! All the ladies were so helpful from the time I made my appointment, they handpicked dresses and even had some sent over from their other location for me to try on and continued to stay in contact with me through phone calls up until my appointment. Then on my appointment day, when I had car trouble and was very late to my appointment, they offered to stay open late for me and help me find the perfect dress. Thank you so much! I cannot recommend Hope's enough!

Exceptional Service!

I just want to tell everyone how friendly everyone was from the second I walked in to try on dresses to when I picked up my dress from alterations. They really hype you up and make you feel so beautiful! And the amount of dresses they have is CRAZY so there’s always going to be something you find there that you fall in love with. I highly HIGHLY recommend Hope’s Bridal who wants a truly personal experience and wants to wear a beautiful gown on their perfect day. Also, Anna is absolutely AMAZING!!!

Wonderfully accommodating and professional!

Best Bridal Shop Ever!

They were so amazing and organized with having dresses pulled and ready for me when I got to my appointment. I actually purchased one of the dresses and realized once I was home that I should have purchased a different dress that I had tried while there and they were so helpful and willing to switch my order to the other dress! Anna was absolutely amazing and I will be forever thankful for the entire Hopes Bridal team!

Amazing addition to our big day

The entire team at Hope's was supportive and more than willing to help me find the dress of my dreams. I went to 5+ other dress stores and was absolutely blown away by the commitment Hope's had to me and my wishes. Great Service

We had a great experience at Hope's Bridal. They hand picked some dresses for me to try on but also allowed me to look through the racks to find additional options. They were very helpful. They even stayed open late to allow me to come back to make the final decision after visiting another shop. 10/10.

Quad City September wedding

I have lived in Chicago for 14 years and assumed I would find my wedding gown at a bridal boutique there. I went to Hope's when I was home over Christmas so my mom could see me try on wedding dresses. I fell in love with the first one I put on! Hope's has such a great selection of dresses at reasonable prices. My gown was unique, and something I would not have been able to find in Chicago. The lace was exquisite, like nothing I had seen before. Anna was so kind and wonderful to work with. She helped me find the perfect veil to match, in a shade that wasn't just basic ivory so it would match my dress perfectly. I highly recommend going to Hope's and I hear their new space is beautiful.

Easy and enjoyable!

“Go to more than one place,” everyone told me. And yet... I couldn’t leave Hope’s without my dress! With COVID precautions in place, my mom and I were the only customers in the shop, which was actually so perfect. Susan was a delight, and really gave us the time and the space to take in each dress without an ounce of pressure. And, as is so common, I fell in love with the dress they’d pulled that I didn’t expect to like at all! Seems like they know a thing or two about bridal wear... ☺️

The BEST customer service!

Hope’s Bridal went above and beyond with their service! They allow you to look at thier dresses online before your appointment which really helps figure out which dresses you want to try on. All of their dresses are BEAUTIFUL! The best part of my service was that I chose my favorite dress but they didn’t have it at the Davenport location so the owner personally drove all the way from the Atkins store just so I could try it on! I fell in love with the dress and bought it that same day since I knew no other store would have that same style. Everyone there was wonderful to interact with and they made me feel special the whole time. Definitely recommend all brides to go to Hope’s Bridal!

Great Service

Coming into dress shopping, I was skeptical of lining anything. I’m not an avid dress wearer and was picky. My first dress shop experience was a bad one and then I came over to hopes. They had a virtual appointment with me the day before to see what I liked. They had everything laid out and ready for me when I got to the shop. The service was outstanding and every request or question I had was answered. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Hope's is the best!

Beyond pleased we went to Hope's! Not only did they have the dress of my dreams at a more affordable price than other boutiques and have the perfect color for my bridesmaids (and found a matching bowtie for my bridesman!), but they were wonderful throughout the whole process! Every person we worked with was super personable and helpful. They work with you and are very clear on what to expect every step of the way! I highly recommend Hope's Bridal!

There is no where else to go. Hope's Bridal has the best selection in Iowa. Between Atkins and Davenport they have so many dresses in so many styles. I am so happy with my gown. The fit was just perfect, the style was perfect for me, and the color was beautiful. My family just loved it and I love the fact that I could get shoes, bra cups, necklace, earrings, and veil all at the same place. I also took my dress back to have it preserved and cleaned and it came back so beautiful.

I went into Hope's not exactly sure what I would find. I was pleasantly surprised with their inventory and by how friendly the staff was. I tried on about 20 dresses and could have gone on for hours. I loved it! The sales lady was so kind and helpful. I never once felt pressured into buying anything. She was genuinely there to help me. I finally narrowed it down "the one" but I still had another appointment to go to that I didn't want to cancel on. So my family and I went to David's Bridal. What a completely different experience. I knew I had to go back to Hope's where there were great dresses and great service. I also did my alterations at Hope's. Once again fantastic service. My dress was everything I imagined and more. I felt like such a princess on my wedding day. I got so many compliments and people just raving about my dress. If you want a great selection of beautiful and up to date dresses and the most kind and welcoming staff then you have got to go to Hope's Bridal.

Cannot say enough good things about Hope's. They made my experience one I will NEVER forget. I was treated like an absolute queen, I was the only bride to be in the store. The staff even stayed almost an hour after closing to help me feel completely positive about my dress choice. Every staff member I came into contact with was so incredibly sweet. I am from the Quad Cities (where my parents still live), but I now live in Madison, Wisconsin. I chose to do my bridal gown shopping in the QC, and visited Hope's Bridal. I also chose to have my alterations done at Hope's, which meant that I did need to drive in a few times to do fittings and such. They were pretty accommodating to my limited availability, due to me living about 3 hours away. They did a great job on the very minor alterations, added a bustle, and found a veil that worked well with my gown. I loved my dress, and Hope's did a good job for me.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience at hopes! They helped me find my perfect dress and keep me sane while the stress of my wedding was really getting to me. We got our tuxes and bridesmaids dresses through them also and everything went so smoothly. I had gotten all my prom dresses at Hope's. I knew I would be a Hope's girl for my wedding dress! I had no idea what I wanted and the girls were all so helpful and patient as I tried on dresses. I found "the one" when I came back to re-try on dresses with my mom! My mom was also a Hope's girl for her wedding dress! Hope's has been so helpful with bridesmaid dresses as well! I had an absolutely fantastic experience wedding dress shopping at Hope's Atkins location (aka: The Pink Barn). My consultant helped me find the perfect dress within my budget! I live in the Quad Cities, so they were more than happy to get the dress sent to their Davenport location for the alterations to be done. I would absolutely recommend going to either location for brides looking for their wedding dresses or girls looking for a prom dress!

I had a great experience at Hope's Atkin's location. Ariel helped me find the perfect wedding dress. I told her what I was looking for and we were able to find exactly what I wanted in the second dress I tried on. I live on the other side of the country, but will be getting married back in Iowa. Hope's said they would be flexible to work with my schedule for alterations when I was in town next. They will store the dress up until the day of the wedding, and provide free steaming. Atkins Location:
We had such a great experience at Hopes in Atkins! My sister and I first came in just to browse, excited about my new engagment. We weren't planning on taking anything in to try on but our consultant, Becky, insisted it was no problem at all and let us take some in to try. One of the dresses was absolutley amazing. I told Becky I thought it was the one but couldn't make a decision without my mom and the rest of my bridal party. She was all for waiting and did not pressure me that I needed to buy it today or anything like that. When I came back with the whole crew (with an appointment) Becky was so awesome, yet again. She let us make our own selections and secretly pulled "my" dress out. We tried on everyone else's picks and "oo'ed" and "ahh-ed" over how gorgeous they all were but I knew my mind was already made up. When we got into "my" dress she turned the lights down to give them the full effect. It was a done deal- everyone loved it! She made our experience so amazing! Even Diane, the owner, and Ariel came in and told me how fantastic I looked and how happy they were that I was happy. Going back for alterations was no hassle, the first time I tried to get them done my undergarments weren't quite working so I had to go back again but that was something I was more than willing to do!! Everyone had great recommendations on where to go to get new ones and we're so thankful that I was okay with coming back a second time. Even though it wasn't their fault they still apologized! No need, things like that happen!! When I went to pick up my dress Ariel and Diane both helped my sister bustle the dress so that on the wedding day she could do it. Diane was the one I saw before I took my dress. She told me how happy she was for me and that we came to them for such a special day. Everyone was awesome, no complaints. Thanks Hope's staff! I had an amazing experience with you all.

Hope's bridal had a great selection of dresses! The consultants I worked with were all very friendly and helpful. We opted to pay a little extra and try on dresses after hours so we would have the place to ourselves, and it was totally worth it! It can be really busy in there, and having the time and space to yourself, it's amazing. I found a dress that I really loved, and was very unique, hadn't seen anything like it anywhere else. It started as an A-line shape but the alterations job was able to take it in around my hips/butt to make it closer to a mermaid and show off my curves. It was done perfectly and it looked amazing. I would buy from hope's again in a heartbeat!

We also rented our tuxes here, and they looked great. Even when all the coats were too small (the cut was a bit different than we were expecting), they were able to get them exchanged/fixed without any problem.

It was the third dress that I tried on and I fell in love. I went to David's Bridal afterward to make sure it really was the dress. The experience I had at Hope's Bridal was more personal and they really work with you to find what you love. They also really work closely with you in regards to payment of the gown which was a really unique and personal experience.

My experience was a little goofy and I'll try to explain as best as I can-- I went to the Atkins (alone just to browse) location, found a dress, and the alterations manager quoted me a VERY fair price for an off the rack one-of-a-kind dress. I said that I had to let my mom see it before I could make a final decision and they said they would take it to their Davenport location. I stopped in a week and a half-2 weeks later just to see if they had the dress at in Davenport, and they did. I made an appointment to come back the very next day. Up until this point EVERYTHING was perfect. Everyone was WONDERFUL to work with, very helpful, they were creative in finding alternatives and accessories, they were great. UNTIL I came back that next day. The sales associate I had worked with the day before was stuck in an appointment (completely understandable) so the store manager helped me in the dress to show my mother and future mother-in-law. When I said that I was ready to purchase, she told me that the ONLY deal she could give me with $100 off the ticket price. THIS WAS $300 MORE THAN I WAS QUOTED 2 WEEKS BEFORE. When I asked her why I wasn't given the same price her response was "Every time you come into the store, the price goes up." I was floored. I calmly told her I didn't want the dress, and I left, extremely upset. I decided to call the owner of the store just to find out if that was standard policy, or what exactly was going on. She was so so so incredible nice, and told me that their business was to not only sell wedding dresses, but to make my wedding a pleasant and fun experience. She did NOT agree with that statement. She offered me the dress at a price that was way better than before. That part was just a bonus for me. To have the owner truly understand my frustration with a specific manager, and really care about how her own business is ran, shows a me that she is a good person and that she is in the business for the right reasons; to take care of the brides.

This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. A pink barn!! That was a fun first impression and we were greeted and got to start choosing dresses immediately. They have a huge selection- much bigger than I expected. My wedding dress consultant was the highlight. She was supportive and patient, even when I was indecisive and trying on dresses out of my price range. I ended up buying my dress when I visited last Friday and definitely wouldn't have if I didn't trust her so much. I never felt pressured, and she went above and beyond to find great options for me.

My mom, sisters and stepmom were all able to be there- the sitting room with the stage is huge. And although my budget was VERY small, they have a selection of destination dresses and prom dresses that kept the price in my range. I was so happy with the experience and would recommend Hope's Bridal to anyone!

I shopped for dresses in 4 different states (IA, IL, NY, NJ) and 2 big cities (Chicago and NYC), trying on at least 100 different dresses, yet there was something about this dress and Hope's Bridal that kept bringing me back there. Besides loving the dress itself, I think I also fell in love with the pink barn and the ladies who bring it to life. I know that sounds corny but I wanted to get my dress somewhere special … somewhere where I wasn’t just treated as another bride to dress up as if in a bridal factory … a place that I could remember for the wonderful experience I had there and not just that I got a dress there. That’s why I went with Hope’s. They were so patient with me as I kept coming back to try on that dress I couldn’t get out of my head and I felt like they really wanted me to get whatever dress was best for me, regardless of where I got it. They never pushed; they only helped explore options and gave me their honest opinions. Once I decided to go with the dress, they worked with me to modify and accessorize it to create the overall look I was going for. Their attention to detail and very personalized customer service is amazing. They are even now helping me with getting my dress cleaned and preserved now that my wedding is over. Talk about full service! I am glad they offer that service because I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dress. I highly recommend Hope’s Bridal. I LOVE HOPE'S BRIDAL! I went to the shop near Cedar Rapids to find my wedding dress. They had a great selection and an amazing staff to help me find the dress of my dreams. They listen, are flexible, and are very professional. I love how much knowledge they have over their merchandise and how they never pressure you to buy something. Hope's was amazing. I am so happy to know that this is a family business that is locally run and genuinely cares about its customers. It's so fun to shop there with the huge selection of all kinds of dresses and accessories, and you can find the most amazing gowns. I ended up getting a Martina Liana for my ceremony and an Essense of Australia for the reception. I wanted a tea-length reception gown, but fell in love with two dresses that were both full length. So, they found a way to have one beautifully transformed into tea-length, and they were able to make an adorable jacket from the train lace that I wore to my local reception a couple of weeks after the wedding. I got so many compliments! They also had outstanding service on my six bridesmaids, one jr. maid, one flowergirl, and tuxes. We were so thankful to have such a great experience!

This boutique was wonderful to work with when I went in to find my dress. They quality of service was great. They were always responsive to my phone calls and helping me figure out a good time to come in and try on my dress since I lived 2.5 hours away. All the women working there were professional and helpful. When I first found my dress, after I decided it was "the one," the women were very accommodating for me. Since my mom wasn't there, they let me take pictures even against "policy" and were very patient while I got ahold of my mom to tell her the good news! The value is undeniable. They have pieces and dresses there that aren't in other stores. You get what you pay for, and this boutique is one of a kind. The jewelry isn't cheap-looking or tacky. It's higher-end, but it's well worth it. No one wants to walk down the aisle in $5 jewelry that looks like it's from Walmart! They were always flexible with my times if I wasn't able to make it on time and let me come in when it worked for me. I loved my experience here!

I was able to find my wedding dress the first day I went dress shopping. In fact, it was the first dress I even tried on! I did try on more though just to be sure, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive my dress was. I had made an appointment to go in and the ladies working there were very helpful. I live out of state and wanted to get it steamed there a few days before my wedding. I was able to take it in on Wednesday and have it back the next day. They also have a nice selection of bridesmaids dresses. I did not get mine there since a few of the girls live out of town and it would just be easier for them to go to David's Bridal and find a less expensive dress. Either way, I was very pleased.

I had a great experience with Hopes Bridal in Davenport Ia! The women were all so friendly and SO nice, a completely different experience than I had at David's. The other huge difference I noticed was they knew a lot about dresses and what would fit your style. There were a ton of beautiful dresses and we also were able to get our tuxes from the same place. I got my alterations done there in only a few weeks and they were able to make them perfect in very little time.

We actually used the Atkins location, but I believe they are related.

Due to timing, we ended up getting married a bit quicker than most-- within just under 3 months. We went into Hope's cute pink barn and spent an hour or so looking over dresses. They talked with me beforehand and we determined that with my timetable (and the upcoming holiday- Thanksgiving), I would probably need to get something "off the rack." They also confirmed this via a few phone calls to their suppliers. As I didn't really know what I wanted, I tried on probably a dozen lovely dresses and was able to decide my needs and kept coming back to a particular dress. They made me a great deal and got it fully cleaned. Their seamstress did a phenomenal job as I am fairly trim-- several inches had to be taken in between both sides of the dress. The bottom hem was done beautifully as well. I'm so impressed with her work!

Overall, I don't have a single bad thing to say. The dress came out gorgeous, worked perfectly for my outdoor wedding and I'm thrilled!

After looking at several dresses on a couple visits, I finally found the perfect dress for my special day. The staff at Hope's went above and beyond to help me out finding my dress and showed me how I could complete my look with amazing Meg jewelry and a knock out belt from Kitty Chen! I have a unique situation with only 3 months to my wedding and wanted a brand new dress. I went to Hope's in Atkins first to try on wedding dresses. I didn't find anything but we did try on bridesmaids dresses while we were there and found a couple that we liked. A few months later, I went to Hope's in Davenport to look at their bridesmaids dresses. The saleswoman was very helpful and made a few suggestions based on the types of dresses I was picking. I knew I wanted short dresses since it was a summer wedding, but she pulled a long dress that she knew came in a short style. I asked if they could bring in one of the dresses I tried on at the Atkins location before I decided and it wasn't a problem for them at all. I ended up going with the short style of the long dress she suggested - I never would have taken it off the rack if it wasn't for her! They were a bit pricey, but all the other dresses I looked at were in the same price range. What surprised me the most was how long they took to come in - they took a month longer than my wedding dress! I ended up paying for a rush to make sure my girls got them in enough time to make alterations.

I found my wedding dress a few weeks ago at Hope's in Atkins, and it was a great experience! I had been to several other bridal stores before visiting Hope's, but hadn't been able to find a dress I loved that fit my budget. I appreciated that my friends, family, and I got to look through the gowns and pull things that I liked. In the end, the first dress my consultant (Ariel) pulled ended up being "the one." I'm so grateful to have found such a beautiful dress that was perfectly in budget!

I found my wedding dress from here. I was very unhappy with David's bridal. I love the fact that you go into a pink barn and it felt some home style. Everything went really well. They offer a really good gown preservation service. The only thing was that the alteration prices seemed a little high, but I hadn't gone to many other places, so the price may actually be very good.

My advice at hopes bridal is if you want the whole experience of finding your dress, make an appointment! They will take you without an appointment but it can get hectic when they are busy- and they have to prioritize those who already had an appointment.

They will take care of you very well here. I worked with Katie for the most part (in alterations and she helped with getting a dress for my daughter on the day), and she was great! I got the dress of my dreams and had plenty of compliments- it was well worth the money!

The only thing I could complain about is I wish I got measured better when I bought the dress, my dress was to big by at least a full size. We were able to tighten it enough to stay on but my bust was still to big on the day as we were not able to get it tight enough- plus we lost the corset back because it was tied so tight. So make sure to go with your own gut when ordering size.

Overall my experience was great and I would recommend this location!

After buying my prom gown with Hope's, I couldn't think of any other place I wanted to go. The staff at Hope's went above and beyond to help me find my perfect wedding dress (I ended up selecting Olivia by Maggie Sottero) after a couple visits. Their inventory is unique and different from the "big box" stores and I really liked that. After picking my gown, we selected bridesmaids dresses and they have a huge selection of designers (I picked Bill Levkoff). Our Moms and grandma even ended up getting their dresses there too! I never felt pressured or pushed, they were patient, honest and kind to me, my bridesmaids, groomsmen and Moms. We also decided to get the tuxes with Hope's too. Would definitely recommend Hope's to everyone.

I was very pleased with my experience at Hopes Bridal. I read some reviews that were not the best so I was apprehensive but I have no complaints. The girls were always very pleasant to work with and very helpful. It was great customer service that they remembered me each time I went in after ordering the dress.
I also liked the connection they had the the Hopes Bridal in Atkins. I originally went to Atkins first and they shipped a dress I thought I wanted to the Davenport store since it was closer to my home. I happened to come across THE DRESS when I went back to try on the dress from Atkins. It was great that they were willing to send the dress from one store to the other for my convenience.

They were great. The only complaint I have is they lacked organization. 2 days before my weeding I went to get my dress and shoes and when I arrived they told me they had lost my shoes!!! I ended up leaving without them and half way hope they called and said they were found. I turned around and got them immediately. Other than that they were very nice and their selection is amazing.

I went to Hope's Bridal after shopping at many other places for my wedding dress. I walked in and saw the dress I knew I wanted in their catalog. They had the dress in the store and I tried it on and purchased it right away. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They actually encouraged me shopping elsewhere for things like a belt and veil rather than making changes to what they had there because it would save me money, which I appreciated. They have many gowns in the store to look at, but I did notice that many of them seemed a little dated. They also have a large selection of bridesmaid dresses (I also found my bridesmaid dress there) and veils. They also have an in-house seamstress which is nice. My only complaint is that they seem understaffed at times; I would be left alone for 5-10 minutes during an appointment because someone else came into the store or the phone rang and only one person was available to help. Overall, great experience and I know that my dress is in good hands with them!

I was very happy with the wonderful selection of gowns that this vendor had to offer, but very displeased with the professionalism. This vendor advertises that they welcome walk-ins, but if you don't make an appointment they get snippy that you should have made an appointment. When we first walked in to find the dress of my dreams (which I did find there), they were very nice and welcomed us to look at their WIDE selection. After a bad experience at David's Bridal of having a consultant constantly bringing me dresses that I continually told her wasn't my style, I was grateful to be able to walk the room and pick the dress myself. I had wonderful help getting the dresses on as well. The great part was being able to get a discount on the dress since it was discontinued and bought the dress that was on the rack. The problem came when we picked up the dress after having it cleaned and the crystals reinforced. My mother had phoned the place that week and mentioned that we would be coming in sometime that weekend. When we walked in the place was a little busy, and we instantly got bombarded by workers stating that we should have called and made an appointment and now they couldn't help us because we hadn't done so. We would have taken this in stride if they hadn't been so snippy about it. After all, we were just there to pick it up not take up a dressing room and try on several more dresses.

All in all, the dress choices were fabulous, but the quality of service could use some more professionalism.

My experience at Hope's was good. It was the only bridal salon I visited - I was only interested in one dress and they were the only local store that carried it. The consultants were always helpful and polite. I used the seamstress thru Hope's as well and she was fabulous. She did a fantastic job with the alterations and her price was much lower than I expected. The only compliant I have about my experience there was the process of actually getting my dress in.

What lowered my ratings for Hope's was the experience one of my bridesmaids had. I had two bridesmaids, and they both decided to wait awhile after we picked out the bridesmaids dresses to get measured. Since one was closer to the Atkins store and one was closer to Davenport, the went seperately to appointments. The girl that went to Atkins had a good experience - her dress came in fitting almost perfectly. The one that went to Davenport had a very poor experience. She thought the right size was ordered... she was measured and after reviewing the size chart with the consultant, they agreed on a size. She thought the size was way off, but it fit the measurements that were taken and she figured that it was just the difference between bridal and street sizes. When her dress came in, it was HUGE. She could put it on and take it off without unzipping it over her clothes. She investigated with my other bridesmaid and found out that they got the same size, which is ridiculous because they are nowhere near the same size. The only possible thing we could think of was that the measurements were done incorrectly because she remembers that the measurements she was given were correct for the size that was ordered. She called the store to let them know of the problem. The staff was extremely rude to her and pretty much told her to kick rocks. Completely unacceptable.

My friend got married in May so I went to the Atkins location to purchase my bridesmaid dress. What a positive experience! Due to my maid of honor and future mother in law living in the Davenport area, I decided that I had to check out this location. I had a positive experience at the first place I tried gowns on that day and it really set the bar high. When I walked into Hope's I was immediately greeted but in a way that sounded as if "what are you doing here" (I scheduled an appointment three weeks prior). The showroom was kind of messy but my associate was so sweet (she is no longer there), knowledgeable, and helpful. Once I put my dress on and knew that this was the one, I was more than happy to buy my dress from such a sweet associate. My party came on a busy day and the computer was in use when we were finished so we decided to head next door to look at bridesmaid and mother of the bride gowns for fun. My associate joined us and continued to be extremely helpful. During this time, another associate entered and told my associate that there were people that needed helped and needed to stop "playing around". This immediately infuriated myself and my party, I was spending almost $2000 from their establishment and we were treated so poorly. If my dress wasn't there and my associate was not so sweet, my party and I would have taken our business elsewhere. This was seriously such a disappointing experience for me but I did get my dream dress, so there is that!

I bought my bridal gown at Hope's and don't have any complaints about the service I received as a bride. However, I also decided to get my bridesmaid gowns at Hope's and would not recommend. I had 4 bridesmaids from 4 different states and the number of "mix-ups" and issues we had with ordering, coordinating, and receiving the dresses was unacceptable. Additionally, my MOH was told she should order a "bigger" dress because she was in between sizes -- she ended up spending over $300 on the actual dress and THEN an additional $200 on alterations because it was WAY too big. When we were encouraged to order the "bigger" dress, the consultant told us that alterations were a flat fee. However, when her dress arrived it needed so many alterations that the "flat fee" promise no longer applied. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and empty promises of Hope's Bridal

We LOVED the wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses.....however, when the girls went (seperatly) to try their dresses on they fit perfectly, but when they went to pick them up one of the dresses was huge.....we suspected that 2 of the girls were given the same dress to try on. (one was a 6 the other an 8). We told her it was too big (the day before the wedding and she said the girl must have lost weight....2-3 inches in the bust! Really? We told her (the owner) what we thought happened and she said that had never happened.....Apparently it was our fault the dress did not fit! Hopes Bridal in Atkins was great up to the point that I purchased the dress, then it quickly went down hill. I had originally felt like a valued customer, but the second after they made the sell I didn't feel like they cared at all.

I ordered my bridal dress from them and needed no alterations, just a bustle. However, they do not do bustles on the weekend. I do not live near the area but purchased from them because it was close to were we were holding the wedding. When I explained that I worked Mon-Fri and that I would not be able to come in during the week they told me there was nothing they could do. They implied that I should care more about my wedding and just take a day off - which I did not agree with. I felt as if the owner of the store was talking down to me and she wanted me to drop my life 3 hours away for her store to be able to help me. I eventually had to pick up my dress on a Saturday and take it to a seperate person to bustle the dress, then take it back to them to steam (which was included in the cost of the dress so I was going to get that done).

I ordered my shoes from them so that they could dye it to my dress color. I asked that they contact me so that I could try on the shoes before they dye them but because I lived out of town my mom went to pick up my shoes. The first time she went they made her wait for 20 minutes before they finally helped her, then she waited an additional 20 minutes until they told her my shoes were lost. My mom went home (a 40 minute drive) and waited for them to call back a couple of days later when they found them. When she picked them up she had to wait 30 minutes for service and then discovered they had already been dyed. Thank goodness they fit! During the dying process one of the jewels from the shoe fell off - but instead of raising a stink we just took them and left.

My bridesmaids also had problems with their shoes, but because I was not in the area they dealt with those issues themselves and I felt very bad for them. Unfortunately, I do not know the extend of their problems and do not want to mistell their stories.

I also purchased my earrings from them - they looked great during the wedding, but broke during the reception. I just ended up taking them off for the rest of the night.

We also had problems with renting the under slip - I was incredibly lucky that mom was retired and able to make multiple drives out to them to take care of this issue.

All in all, this was my only problem vendor during the entire wedding which made me even more upset because I was having no problems with anyone else. They were not accommodating, they were unprofessional at the store if you were not looking for a dress to purchase at that exact time and I am very thankful that my mother was so patient with them and was in the area or else I probably would have had several disasters on my hands.

The dress itself fit great, was a good price and looked beautiful - but I probably would have just purchased it from somewhere else had I known the headache that was going to follow!

I was visiting family from out of state and stopped by based on reviews online in hopes of finding a nice dress and I was ready to spend some money if I found it!. I wasn’t greeted at the door, there were two women that appeared to be playing in the computer and I had to walk into the store and around the corner to find them and neither of them even got up. I was surprised and asked where I could find their formal gowns as I was looking for something for an upcoming gala. One of them reluctantly said she could open up the other rooms for me to look. She didn’t ask what size or what I was looking for or really anything. She said here’s the mother of the bride dresses and there are the bridesmaid dresses. What a complete waste of time! I’m probably being harsh but I’m SO sick of attitude by these stupid sales people that have no interest in representing the business they work for or actually performing some work! I’m in sales and very familiar with providing customer service, I know it’s impossible to please everyone but a little effort goes a long way! Good luck and I won’t be shopping here for my upcoming wedding dress. Your loss

I felt like a valued customer on my first visit to Hope's Bridal. I was a little concerned when I walked in due to the size of the boutique. It was very small and they did not have any of the styles of dresses I picked off their WEB site. The gal assisting me was very friendly and helpful. After trying on about ten dresses, I believed I found "the one." Much different than my original thoughts, but it looked great! I ordered it and paid in full that day. My bridesmaids and I also looked at dresses for them, but no one was available to assist us. I dismissed this at the time because I did just make the appointment for me.
When I returned to the boutique to pick up my dress, I felt like they just wanted me to just take it and leave; even though I did make an appointment to try it on. I was extremely disappointed in what I received. It has fabric flower appliques on it where there was beading on the floor model. I specifically said I didn't want a dress with flowers on it. Yes, it was the same dress, but the beading pattern/appliques had apparently been revised on one of the dresses. When I asked to see the floor model I originally tried, I was told it had been transferred to their Atkins location and sold (how convenient).
The only "offer" that was made to me was that I could pay to have their seamstress add beading and remove the flowers. I don't know how many times I heard that "the dress looks different when it is new and perfect." There was no consideration made that that dress actually was different even though my bridesmaids and I all agree it is.
Don't believe their quote "we want your day to be special and worry free." They want to sell you a dress and get you out of the way. Now I am stuck with a $1,500 dress that I am not excited to wear on my special day. AND, I was not given my veil when I picked up my dress. I was so upset I forgot to ask, but they should have had it with my dress. This business is very unprofessional.
