Tricia Sent on 07/04/2020Hope was not only an amazing musician and harpist, she was flexible with changes to wedding dates and venues due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Hope is a amazing musician and harpist. She was also flexible with our COVID-19 weddings plans for our daughter. The quality of musicianship and professionalism matched the beauty and grandeur of St. Luke’s UMC and The Astorian wedding venue in Houston, Texas. Hope was accommodating when the the dates changed and was able to make her services portable as she moved from St. Luke’s to The Astorian for a cocktail hour. As a musician, I understand the need for wedding musicians to be able to handle musical requests, but also be able to collaborate and facilitate direction for the wedding service. Hope was all of these things, but most importantly a beautiful musical addition to our daughter and her new husband’s wedding day! -

Hope was so accommodating from the moment I first contacted her. Hope played background music for my reception. From the start, she answered all my questions, took all my song requests, responding in a timely manner. She is as sweet as she is talented! My guests loved listening to her and were completely impressed by her talent and repertoire of music, as am I! Hope was an absolute dream to work with. She plays the harp so heavenly! She was always very patient with me and my constant emails about song choices. I was not able to interact very much with her the day of the wedding, but my guests could not stop commenting on how lovely she played and set the tone for the ceremony. We are very happy to have hired Hope to play at our wedding. It truly made the day that much more special. Thank you, Hope! -
Tamala Sent on 08/28/2018Hope gave me hope! Ms. Cowan was such a pleasure to work with. She was recommended to me by another vendor that I had booked and unfortunately had to cancel about 2 months before my wedding. Hope stepped in and never missed a beat. She worked with my niece that was singing in our wedding and she was very prompt in her email responses and very pleasant. I sent her a list of songs that I wanted to hear and she created a playlist without hesitation. Hope is very talented and plays beautifully. Our guests said they could tell what each song was that she played. She was a wonderful addition to our ceremony and I am so glad we were fortunate to have her.
