    After I choose my venue, I searched for a photography that had shot there. This was very important to me since I wanted to make sure I had a photographer that was familiar with the venue and that I knew had great images. I came across Hooked on Photography in my search and absolutely fell in love with the gorgeous moments he was able to capture of brides on their wedding day. Michael was so helpful to me throughout the process and both met with me and consulted with me over phone and email to make sure everything would run smoothly the day of, which it did. It absolutely poured down rain on my wedding day which nixed most outdoor shots but Michael was able to work around this and produced beautiful moments nonetheless. Both the candid and posed shots are wonderful. I had so many to choose from that I loved, I'm not sure how I will be able to narrow them down. I have and will continue to recommend Hooked on Photography to any bride.

    I was very pleased with the amount of pictures and quality of the pictures that I received. I would highly recommend Hooked on Photography! He took my worries away from me and took care of everything!

    This was first thing I booked when I got engaged! Michael was wonderful throughout the whole process! He was extremely helpful and went beyond the photographer role. The pictures are awesome and full of color and life. I defintely recommend him to capture your special moments on your wedding day.

    I am so happy that Michael was our wedding day photographer. He was AWESOME and AMAZING. After viewing all the photography websites and meeting with him, my fiance and I found his pictures to be the most beautiful. He has an amazing eye for lighting and angles. He also does a great job capturing real, emotional moments. He did our engagement session, save the date, and wedding photos! Spend the extra money a photographer that is sure to please and take lovely photos :)

    Michael was so great and took WONDERFUL pictures of our wedding and events!! He was great with capturing what we had talked about and so kind and attentive to everyone!! We had so much fun together with bridals, engagement, and wedding!!

    Michael and his team from Hooked on Photography were great! Our wedding was supposed to be outside and got shifted inside at the last minute when a storm came through. Michael was so flexible and managed to get amazing photos inside, even as everything shifted. We appreciated all of his quick responses and feedback throughout the process. He was extremely thorough. And the final product was better than anything we could have hoped for.

    I had the pleasure of working with Michael for my bridal portraits. I had such a fun day with him and he made the session very smooth and relaxing. The canvas I ordered came in very polished and looked fantastic and was definitely a great centerpiece at my wedding! Thank you so much Michael for making that day fantastic!

    Amazing photography! I moved away from Austin before my wedding so he had to be flexible with my bridal shoot and wedding album and he was stellar. Michael will do what he needs to do to make the bride happy, he's also super professional. I would recommend him to anyone, he was also my favorite vendor!

    We're very happy with our service and the images turned out wonderfully!! Definitely worth the wait. The photography was by far the most important choice I had to make when planning my wedding and Michael left nothing to-question. He truely understands what people want and need from their wedding photographer and that responsiveness is the key to the bride's heart. We're so happy with the images because they truely captured the day!

    I really enjoyed working with Michael. He delivers high quality images that truly capture the emotions of the day. Michael is also very responsive to any questions/concerns and offers a very user friendly website for viewing & ordering prints, paying invoices, etc. He is very good about listening to what you want from your photographs and delivering images that exceed those expectations. I originally chose Hooked on Photography because of the focus on capturing candid moments and telling the story of the wedding day, and I am very happy with my choice. I have hundreds of beautiful engagements, bridals, and wedding day photographs.

    Hooked on Photography was recommended to me by the venue where we were having our wedding. After reviewing his packages it was more than what we wanted to spend. I wound up booking another photography company and when it came close to our wedding I was not happing with the service I was receiving from them. I was starting to panic and decided to call Michael and thank goodness he was availabe for our wedding date. While it was more expensive than the other company he was truly worth it. I'm so glad we made the switch. He was friendly, professional and after seeing our engagment photos I knew I had made the right decision no matter the cost. I would highly recommend him to anyone. It's true that your photographer shouldn't be the area you cut back on cost. It's been 6 months since my wedding and that day goes by so fast like a blur. Once I started looking at the pictures Michael took I started tearing becuase I started to remember moments in the wedding that was a blur to me. I am truly grateful and feel so lucky to have been able to obtain such a great photogrpaher for our wedding.

    Michael at Hooked on Photography photographed our wedding on May 31, 2008 (check his blog and you can see some images!) but our relationship with him started months before the wedding and still continues on. From the moment I initially emailed him asking about availability, he was detailed, helpful and so quick to respond. He even read through our wedding website and learned more about us before we even booked him. To me, the photographer was the most important vendor to book because when the day was over all I would have is the pictures. I wanted someone that not only was skilled at their art, but also fun to work with. I feel lucky to have found Michael because Lord knows there are an infinite amount of photographers out there, most of them just aren't at the level of quality I really wanted.

    Throughout the process Michael was more than willing to offer advice (on everything from rehearsal dinner options, timelines for the big day, and pretty much anything else I asked about). He is extremely professional (and totally honest, which I appreciated!) and completely understands how important it is to each bride to have pictures they love when all is said and done. He spent hours talking on the phone with me during the process (I was planning the wedding from another state - no easy task) and even has a fun worksheet that brides fill out before the wedding asking about images you are really hoping to capture, special moments/guests he should know about beforehand. He is absolutely prepared for every wedding he shoots, and I haven't mentioned yet his most glaring quality... he is a total perfectionist. Between the ceremony and the reception we did what he likes to call "alone time" shots, he had already scouted out cool places inside/outside the hotel to shoot.. and creative stuff I would have never thought of myself. My husband was surprised at how easy he made it for us.

    My husband and I were so pleased when our pictures came back.. beautiful colors, the perfect mix of photojournalistic/classic images we can enjoy forever. Then when our album came I couldn't believe how excited even my husband got... "Wow, this is really nice." I feel happy to share something like that with family for years to come. My only regret in the whole process is that Michael didn't get to do our engagement and bridal pictures, since I was out of state and we were only in Texas the weekend of the wedding. I feel certain that anyone who makes an investment with Hooked on Photography will be pleased with the outcome - Michael will always make sure of that.

    Michael's eye for photography really sets him apart from others. He truly lives in creative photojournalism. His prints are vibrant and captures the moments that are the important part of the experience. He captured a photo of my mother and I kissing one another that made me tear when I saw this tender moment captured. I had no idea he was even around shooting at this time. I was very impressed with his organization skills surrounding communciations, invoices, and apponitments. I have nothing but positive and glowing things to say about his skills as a photographer and organizer.

    Michael is fantastic. He is one of the most artistic photographers I have had the pleasure to work with and has a way of pulling out the most intense colors and eye catching details that I have ever seen. Looking at my pictures, I realized just how many he was taking when I had no idea. And we love our pictures! My only disappointment is that even with 1100 (good) images, there weren't even more because he has such a great eye at capturing moments and little details. If you can afford him, I recommend him beyond a shadow of a doubt to any bride.

    Michael and his assistant are great! We were getting married in Austin but live in Houston and we were able to work everything out on our schedule and trips to Austin. We did both engagements and wedding. The engagement pictures came out pretty well, some of the poses are a little awkward, but look good on camera.

    Since the wedding was much less posed, we had a much better time during our private sessions. Michael and his assistant were everywhere during the ceremony and reception. We got some really great pictures, but that also meant they were blocking our guests from time to time. All our guests saw during our cake cutting was the back if the photographer.

    Aside from that glitch everything else was great. We didn't order an album because we will get all the images on CD and go somewhere else for a little cheaper. The service and images are worth their cost, but the others seem a little over priced with the availabilty of digital images nowadays.

    All in all, highly reccommend checking our his services.

    Michael and his team of professional photographers were very flexible and accommodating for our wedding day which included two ceremonies and two separate traditions. I have received many positive comments from our wedding guests on the photography and images which Michael captured for us on our wedding weekend!
