I can't emphasize enough how dreamy it was to work with Shayna, even in the middle of a pandemic. Shayna was incredibly responsive and detail-oriented leading up to my wedding date, and somehow magically captured all of the key moments my husband and I were hoping for while running around in 90 degree heat and maintaining at a safe distance to keep our guests comfortable and safe. The photos arrived on time, edited to perfection without looking overly-edited. As someone who is super picky about photography and loves candid shots, I'm was SO impressed with how both the posed portraits and natural moments turned out on film. They're timeless and beautiful, and we'll cherish them forever. I've already recommended Shayna to two close friends because that's how much I trust and appreciate her work. Shayna, thank you for handling the most important day of our lives with such tenderness and care. We will never forget it! -

Before I even get into the deliverables I want to talk about Shayna. I have always been a behind the camera kind of girl and was super nervous going into our engagement session and having someone taking our photos. When we met Shayna we were immediately disarmed and by the end of the session we had been shooting for over 3 hours and felt like she was an old friend! You ever just have those unexpected meetings with people and feel refreshed afterwards? That's what it's like working with Shayna! Aside from her joyful presence and excitement for her work she is also highly professional and takes her art very seriously which is very apparent in the photos she delivers. I had an idea of what I wanted my wedding to look like and the vibe the photos I wanted to be captured but honestly didn't have any idea how to put that into words so I took a very long time researching photographers so I can just let them do their work and I was right in trusting Shayna. Our engagement and wedding photos were absolutely gorgeous and truly captured the love in the air and fun atmosphere that was created that day. I was honestly so in the moment that day that I hardly noticed her but she got it all.
Thank you Shayna for being such a joy to work with and giving us wonderful evidence of our favorite day ever. We hope to be hitting you up soon for maternity photos :D -

Shayna's eye for photography is simply amazing! She has a way of capturing the moment without being intrusive or changing the natural vibe. Her photos are truly works of art.

We contacted Shayna after my fiance found her Instagram profile - we had both been looking for a photographer with a more unique style; neither of us wanted the traditional posed suite of family group shots as much as we wanted to capture the emotions of the day (and the party that night). I honestly could not have asked for a better experience on the day of our wedding or during preparation! My job keeps me really busy during summer and fall, and I honestly probably shouldn't have tried to make an early November wedding happen, but Shayna's chill personality and obvious knowlege and experience made me feel so much more at ease. I never second guessed our choice. When she arrived the day of the wedding it felt like she was almost a calming presence, and I only say "almost” because family will be family no matter the day. She wrangled, she kept things moving, and most importantly she seemed to know exactly when to pull us away to have moments to breathe and enjoy being together. The preview photos are SO perfect and I can't wait to see how the rest have turned out! Huge thank you for being wonderful to work with and for giving us the laid back but also 70's glam vibe we were looking for. Love Honeystills! -

When planning our wedding, my husband and I had photography as our #1 priority. I looked at many portfolios, and none did the trick-- I wasn't sure what it was I was looking for, but when I came across Shayna's work, I knew she was the photographer we were looking for. We did an engagement shoot and wedding with Shayna, and now, looking out our pictures-- I understand what made Shayna's work stand out from the rest. Shayna captures genuine moments. Moments that don't require posing or a lot of direction. The pictures accurately represent the memories--- and result in beautiful works of art.
We cannot stress how talented Shayna is! Her kindness, professionalism, and charisma did not go unnoticed, as many of our wedding guests asked for her information!
Do not hesitate in working with Shayna-- we will definitely be lifetime customers!

Shayna was so amazing! Our wedding plans changed last minute due to COVID and we found her through a friend. She quickly responded and immediately made me feel so confident even though the wedding was only 2 weeks away. Day of she was awesome. She was super calm, even when we were running behind schedule, very go with the flow, and also totally willing to change plan and just do what was needed to get all the photos in the time we had. She made us feel very comfortable behind the camera with her calm demeanor and positive feedback. We are so grateful that she was available last minute, came with a huge smile and totally positive attitude and jumped right in. She was super timely in her sneak peak and the full deck of photos and her editing was spot on. We could not be happier with the photos! She was just so nice and brought such a positive energy even with covid and everything crazy going on. -

What can I say I’m utterly disappointed in her service! We had a photo shoot scheduled for today Sunday the 19th but it never happened. I tried to confirm with her last Sunday and I never got a response! Then I tried the whole week to get a confirmation but nothing no response, finally on Thursday I canceled my makeup and hair appointments and around 5 pm after demanding my deposit I got an email back from her stating she was sick. That is totally fine but as a business owner myself I would let a client know as soon as possible. We booked her for our wedding, gave her a deposit and booked her for engagement pictures and the customer service, professionalism, and timely response was MIA just like she was.
