Our elopement experience with Honeybreak was seamless. Alex, our officiant, was super helpful and made us feel relaxed throughout the process. We had an initial call on zoom where Alex talked us through the ceremony plans and asked us more about the style of ceremony we wanted. She then followed up with helpful suggestions and a survey, and gave us feedback on our vows. We loved having Alex officiate our ceremony and would recommend her and Honeybreak to anyone eloping in NYC!

Exactly what we needed
Talley was perfect! Process starts with a virtual meeting to assess fit, then a very good questionnaire to help map out what exactly you want the ceremony to include (essentially a menu of options), then ability to validate the script', help with vows, reminders the day before, etc. We didn't really know where to begin, and this was everything we needed without any worry.

Exceeded Expectations!
We decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony back in May in Central Park and we were nervous that the ceremony would not flow nicely or feel very transactional. Talley, our amazing officiant pulled through in every aspect! From being very reassuring and caring in explaining the process to us, to being very reliable/informative in guiding us through the ceremony customization, to leading a very heartwarming program - we are beyond pleased in our decision to go with honeybreak. Talley was wonderful!
Talley was our officiant on our wedding day.
Before going ahead with our booking, we had a zoom call with Talley and instantly clicked with her; she is kind, friendly, bubbly and super accommodating, so we knew she was the person we wanted to officiate our wedding.
Talley sent us vow options, poetry options and asked us to complete a wedding ceremony survey, giving details about us as a couple, to create our love story. The love story on the day of our wedding was amazing, and so personal, it was like Talley had known us for years! Our family commented after the ceremony, that she made it so personal and beautiful. We cannot wait to watch the video back to relive it again!
When we were trying to decide on music, we asked Talley for advice on where music is needed and she guided us so well on what to do.
In the days leading up to our wedding, Talley contacted us to remind us what to bring with us on the day (this is very helpful when we were busy in the build up, especially as we were able to read back on it!)
We had to change our ceremony location with only 2 days notice, and this was no problem for Talley at all! This may have been something small for Talley but we appreciated it so much.
For start to finish, Talley made the entire process a breeze! We would highly recommend her as an officiant!

We went back and forth on whether to hire an officiant or have a family member perform our ceremony, but I must say, hiring Haley was the best decision we made for our day considering we were pretty far along in our planning process. From the beginning of meeting with her, she made the entire process seamless, individualized, and the ceremony was magical. We revised our ceremony piece a few times and Haley was nothing but gracious. She executed our ceremony beautifully. We are still daydreaming about it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

So happy we went with Honeybreak Officiants!
Honeybreak Officiants was responsive and friendly from our first contact. We were matched with Laura Goehrke to be our officiant and we knew we wanted to go with her from our first zoom call. She immediately made us feel comfortable and you can tell that she cares about and is excited about what she does. We worked with her over a few months filling out questionnaires and answering questions. She was very flexible and even sent along our ceremony transcript (per our request) to my sister as we wanted to be surprised but wanted someone we knew well to look over it first.
On the day of, Laura arrived early and ready to go - it was so nice to meet her in person! We did a walk through and signed our marriage license and it was great to have such a warm, friendly person leading us with this. The ceremony itself that Laura wrote was exactly what we wanted - it felt personal, intimate, and special. It was the perfect balance of meaningful, touching, and some light humor added. We had multiple people coming up to us after the ceremony to tell us how much they liked it. We have the PDF copy of the ceremony now and I'll cherish it forever. Laura made things so easy for us, taking home the marriage license to mail out and sending us a digital copy the next day.
I couldn't recommend Honeybreak Officiants and Laura enough - will forever be happy that we had her be a part of our special day! :)

Celine made our wedding a dream come true!
My wife and I thought finding an officiant would be one of the simpler aspects of planning our wedding, but when we sat down and started looking for one, we quickly realized just how much more there was to consider than we realized. From the order of events, to the rituals and ceremonies, to the degree of religiosity, there were so many angles to consider and, more than that, questions we didn’t even know that we should be asking. Enter Honeybreak officiants, and specifically Celine, who was our patient, kind, knowledgable, flexible guide through all of these points and so much more. Celine truly gave us the ceremony we had been dreaming of, and we knew within moments of sitting down to speak with her for the first time that she was the officiant for us. One thing we learned while searching for our officiant was that they oftentimes come prepared with a vision of how the ceremony will go. When we listened to them describe their services, we could feel almost immediately that it was not the right fit for us— either too starched, too religious, or conversely lacking in any traditional elements. Not so with Celine. We gave her a few scant ideas and images of what we wanted for our ceremony, more a vibe than anything else, and she gave us back a fully formatted and beautifully moving ceremony, featuring all of the events and moments we asked for and none that we didn’t. In short, she got us. She knew exactly what we were looking for after talking to us for maybe half an hour. More than that, she continued to work with us to refine our plan, being flexible with wording and offering advice whenever needed, but always making sure our special day was just that: special and uniquely ours. I really can’t say enough about the great work Celine did, but if our testimony is not enough, we had friends and family members coming up to us all throughout the reception telling us how wonderful and moving they found the ceremony to be. We could not be more pleased to have entrusted such a delicate thing as the moment of our marriage to Celine!

A perfect ceremony with a personal touch
We came across Honeybreak on The Knot while searching for an officiant for our small wedding. Celine was already highly commended by previous reviews so we mentioned her name when submitting our quote request. After our introductory Zoom meeting, we were confident that we made the right choice. We had only a general idea of the kind of ceremony we wanted at first, but Celine helped guide us through the customization process in a fun and stress-free way. Once we provided her with some details about ourselves and our story, she put together a wonderful ceremony that was so well written and felt so natural, some of our guests assumed that she'd known us for years. The officiant we didn’t realize we needed!
We assumed we’d have a friend or family member officiate our wedding, but when it got down to deciding, we couldn’t agree on the person who felt “right.” Instead, we decided to research officiants online and we found Honeybreak Officiants. What stood out about Honeybreak is that they take a modern approach to weddings and they put storytelling at the center. We worked with Jessica, who helped to guide us along the way. Who knew there were so many things to consider when planning the ceremony?! We’re so glad we ended up going with Jessica because she walked us through so many different styles and options and we ultimately landed on one we were very happy with. She also sent a draft of the ceremony ahead of time and was open to all of our edits. We wanted to keep part of the ceremony a surprise, so we had a relative review it with Jessica via email. If you’re looking for an officiant, we highly recommend Honeybreak!

We loved working with Celine from start to finish! She created such a lovely, memorable ceremony for us. In fact, her script was so special that many of our family members asked to receive a copy.
Celine's kindness and warmth was felt by all, and our guests are still talking about how intimate and personalized our ceremony was. It rained quite a bit on our special day and I have to admit the weather was getting me a bit down, but right before we began Celine said, "they say a wet knot is harder to untie" and that stuck with me for the rest of the day. It's a comment I'll always remember, so thank you, Celine for your positivity and optimism!

Laura Goehrke did a wonderful job officiating our vowel renewal ceremony! She made sure to get to know us beforehand and understand what the event would look like and what we were expecting from the ceremony. Furthermore, she made sure to know some of our personal feelings and motivations towards each other, in an effort to write a very sincere script that felt very personal. On the day of, she arrived on time and was super patient and accommodating with an unexpected delay, and conducted the ceremony beautifully. Laura at Honeybreak was our officiant for our wedding ceremony in Brooklyn. She crafted the ceremony that was the right fit for us, made sure our vision was kept well in mind, and kept us in the loop throughout the drafting and editing process. Celine and Honeybreak were absolutely wonderful to work with! We had no idea where to start with writing a ceremony, but their process was so simple and made for such a beautiful speech. They worked seamlessly with our other vendors, and went above and beyond with explaining the process we needed to take for both obtaining and registering our marriage license, as well as the extra steps needed for international filing. The Perfect Officiant!
We were so lucky to have Jessica from Honeybreak Officiants with us at our ceremony! Jessica was cheerful and responsive to all of our questions during our planning process, incredibly calming and funny during our ceremony, and super organized in handling the paperwork for our marriage license. We loved how she shared our love story, and how supportive she was with our personal vows (she even offered to review our vows separately in advance to help us ensure they were the same length, tone and sentiment!). After the ceremony, multiple friends and family members came up to us to tell us how lovely and romantic our ceremony was. Would absolutely recommend Jessica to others!

My wife and I eloped in Astoria park last weekend, and Celine was our officiant. She was such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning! Celine was organized and professional throughout, and was in regular communication with us in the months leading up to the ceremony. During the planning of the ceremony, she met with us to discuss our vision and tone, and the ceremony she wrote matched it perfectly and was so beautiful. Working with Celine Eid and Honeybreak Officiants made our entire elopement process easier than we thought it was going to be. From walking us step-by-step through the licensing process to obtaining separate appointments for certifications through the City Clerk and Apostille offices due to our foreign needs, Celine was well-informed about what would be needed to satisfy these numerous asks. Additionally, Celine was a helpful resource in providing recommendations for florists, photographers, ceremony locations, and even restaurants for our post-ceremony lunch. We worked with Celine to develop a personalized program for our wedding. She was extremely helpful and helped tailor it to our wishes, which were a bit different than a typical wedding. Celine & Honeybreak Officiants were a dream to work with. We reached out to them last minute and they were incredibly flexible finding a date and time to marry us (we wanted a very specific date for sentimental reasons). After sending an initial inquiry, Celine emailed us back immediately, explained the entire process, and worked with us to find a time and place to get married on our date. Fast forward to the day before we were supposed to be married, and we had a license issue that caused us to have to reschedule our appointment with Celine (with less than 24 hours notice). She was so kind and courteous working with us to find a new spot and a new time to marry us on our special date. We originally saw honeybreak officiants on wedding wire, when looking I really wanted an officiant that was comfortable marrying anyone regardless of race, gender or nationality. Perfect Elopement Experience!
We stumbled across Honeybreak while looking for a really simple option for eloping with only a few close members of our family. After receiving info from the team, we knew Honeybreak was the right fit! The process was incredibly simple and straightforward - we chatted a bit with our officiant, Celine, about we what we were looking for and she was able to create the perfect ceremony for us! She also shared tons of amazing resources and options for readings at our ceremony. We chose a poem and loved it so much that we had it read at our wedding reception a month later with all of our friends and family! One last note: Celine met us at 7am on a Wednesday to perform our wedding ceremony at the New York Public Library(!!) Beautiful ceremony that was our guests' favorite part of the day
Working with Mirelle and Celine at Honeybreak was lovely. Mirelle officiated a Zoom ceremony for us in 2021 due to pandemic postponements and helped us navigate the NYS Project Cupid policies with ease. Celine officiated our ceremony beautifully on our real day and also helped us to coordinate our rehearsal the day before. When it came to constructing our ceremony, there were many options to choose from that made it feel special and contemporary while still meeting our unique needs. We also really enjoyed filling out our love story portion to add our personal touch. My husband and I were both holding back tears the entire time in the moment and our families told us after that the ceremony was their favorite part of the event because of how beautifully it was delivered. Central Park Ceremony
Alex Black did an AMAZING job officiating our small Central Park ceremony! She developed and delivered a highly professional and personalized ceremony and even offered to mail our certificate for us afterwards. We would (and will!) highly recommend her and Honeybreak Officiants to any and all!

Highest Quality Product!
My wife and I decided to get married with about a month and a half to plan. We received a recommendation from our photographer, Sylvie Rosokoff, for Honeybreak Officiants and we went for it and couldn’t be happier with the result! We were limited on time and inconvenienced with work but Celine was outstanding! She made the whole process seem effortless and as low stress as possible. After a virtual call, online correspondence and a survey, Celine produced the most heartfelt ceremony and speech that was reminiscent of an old friend who’s known us forever. We loved how our ceremony turned out and it was all thanks to Celine!

Quick Turnaround for a Special Day!
Honeybreak Officiants helped accommodate a next-day elopement request for 2/22/2022 and made it a smooth process with the paperwork. They asked for my desired time and location and Celine was able to support the request and meet us. Celine was professional and was flexible with the ceremony. We felt comfortable working with her and the ceremony was exactly what we were looking for with a simple and quick event. She provided clear instructions throughout the process. Caring, Affordable, and Fun!
My husband and I were fortunate to work with Celine Eid for our elopement and could not have asked for anything more out of our experience. Celine seamlessly coordinated the big day with us and we felt very stress-free going through everything. I would happily recommend Honeybreak to anyone who asks!
As a bonus, our elopement was extremely affordable and came in one package so we had nothing additional to plan (except of course for our license and rings). Honeybreak gets extra points for that as money would have soured what should be a happy event!

Lovely and professional
We really enjoyed working with Celine as our wedding officiant. She has a calm and gentle way about her, but she's also super capable and responsive, all of which were so appreciated as we prepared for such an action-packed day. Her ceremony script was lovely and personalized, and she was great about letting us incorporate certain religious elements that were meaningful to us. She handled it like a total pro when we needed to make several last-minute changes to the ceremony. She also gave us extremely helpful advice about getting our marriage license, which really came in handy as we don't live in New York State and needed precise timing to coordinate our travel plans. Before we found Honeybreak, I was nervous about having someone we didn't personally know officiate our super small and intimate wedding, but I shouldn't have worried, as Celine made it a great experience from start to finish!

Incredible experience for our small elopement-style wedding!
We had such a great experience working with Celine through Honeybreak Officiants for our very small elopement-style wedding in December in Central Park. Celine met with us over Zoom, walked us through what the ceremony could look like, and offered a lot of guidance and support with our plans. She was also incredibly helpful with our questions about the marriage license process from start to finish. We were so happy with how the ceremony turned out! It felt exactly like us and our family members who attended were so happy and felt the ceremony was just perfect. Choose Honeybreak Officiants!
Searching for an individual to perform one of the most important milestones in our lives is undoubtedly daunting. But Honeybreak made finding our officiant by far, the easiest and smoothest process we could ever ask for. We were so grateful to have stumbled upon Honeybreak Officiants - even more so, for our officiant, Celine. On their website, we were greeted with snippets about each member of their team, giving us the opportunity to find out which officiant fit our needs and expectations for our wedding. We immediately connected with Celine, and we were not disappointed! After filling out questions and surveys, and a Zoom meeting, she reached out quickly and offered us a variety of ceremony options. I am of Filipina descent, my husband of Korean, and though we were not married in a Church, we were able to integrate short, meaningful prayers and a candle ceremony from our respective faiths. Celine swiftly drafted a personalized ceremony order, and answered any questions we had along the way. This also included any suggestions or help with our self-written vows. The day of our wedding, she arrived promptly, early enough to iron out the small details. Celine was professional, extremely kind, and very warm. We knew she would help translate our special day to our family and friends. If we could give Celine and Honeybreak Officiants a hundred more stars, we absolutely would! We will most definitely recommend to others!

Just what we wanted!
My wife and I got our wedding together in about a month. I contacted Honeybreak Officiants and spoke to Celine. Once we nailed down a date (with two weeks to go), she had Jessica get in touch with us. Jessica was lovely! She was kind and patient and accommodated our every wish. She brought a warmth, energy, and joy to our ceremony. Jessica took the time to get to know us and to make the ceremony exactly what we wanted it to be. Perfect, exactly what we wanted
My partner and I have been together for 6 years and finally decided that we wanted to get married before I had to leave for the UK. With covid, we didn’t want a ceremony as such as we wanted to save that for another time. Feline was perfect, understand all our needs and made the event personal and warm without it feeling like too much of a ceremony. She had a great suggestion for the venue and some vows prepared. Touching, bespoke ceremony
We loved working with Honeybreak for our August 2021 wedding. We didn’t have a grand design for our ceremony or how to tell our love story - our wedding was a mix of non-traditional and traditional, and not religious, so we were really grateful that Honeybreak provided us with so much to help us design our perfect ceremony. The questionnaire was super detailed and allowed our officiant, Jessica, to really get to know us and our love story, which she did a wonderful job of weaving into the ceremony. We also really appreciated that Honeybreak had so many different suggestions of how to structure a ceremony, which let us make it really bespoke. (And Jessica was so helpful and receptive in incorporating our feedback when we changed our mind on some elements later!) She also helped us with our vows and gave us really helpful feedback. At the ceremony itself, Jessica did a fantastic job. We got so many compliments on how touching and warm our ceremony was - and most of our guests were in tears, which we didn’t anticipate but says everything. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend both Honeybreak and Jessica.
