Beautiful and delicious cake!
We were in search of a two tier cake pretty last minute in the peak of Arizona's wedding season. Honeymoon Sweets Bakery was not only able to accomate us, they were so kind and helpful with my many questions. We used their online ordering option, and we were set to go in just minutes. Although we didn't use the cake for a wedding, it is an "elopement" cake, so I thought all Bride's-to-be that are considering using Honeymoon Sweets to know how amazing it was!
The cake was not only beautiful, but so delicious! I typically HATE frosting.. this frosting was delicious and not too sweet. We got the lemon cake with a raspberry mouse type filling and everyone was raving about it!
Thank you Honeymoon Sweets! We will be using you again! -

Such good cake!
We loved working with HoneyMoon Sweets! The cake tasted AMAZING and we were able to customize it to get the exact flavors, visual style, and portion size that we wanted. We even were able to do a cake tasting before we ordered, where they packaged a wonderful to-go box of several cake and filling/icing flavors. We've now gone back to order cakes for other special occasions and would definitely recommend! -

Beautiful and Delicious Cake
We found Honey Moon Sweets through a friend and we are so glad we did. We weren't sure if we wanted a cake or to do more of a sweets table at our wedding in March 2021 and as soon as we tasted their cake, we knew we needed it! Their cake is not overly sugary sweet and they have SO many variations of flavors, mousses, and icings. They let us fully customize what we wanted. The overall design was a little different than what we were expecting, but it still turned out beautiful and delicious. There was none left at the end of the night so we know everyone else loved it just as much as we did! I would highly recommend them for any cake needs! -

Amazing sweets of all types!
We ordered petite sweets and petit fours for our wedding in lieu of a wedding cake and they were amazing! Alisa and her crew at Honeymoon Sweets were so easy to work with and plan everything out and they even delivered to our venue in downtown Phoenix. The desserts that we ordered were so beautiful and tasted incredible. I felt that their prices were reasonable for the work that goes into making their sweets look and taste like perfection. I would highly recommend Honeymoon Sweets to anyone who is looking for desserts for any kind of wedding, party, or gathering, you cannot go wrong! I have been and will continue to go back for all my sweet-tooth needs, it's worth the drive from wherever you are! -

Honey Moon Sweets did the most fantastic job with our wedding cake! Alisa was such a joy to work with, and was so organized and helpful in helping us select a wedding cake. We ordered 4 different flavors of cake for our very large wedding, and I can honestly say that it would be quite difficult to pick a favorite -- each one was flavorful, perfectly sweet, and was so delicious that they seemed like they could only have come from a professional pastry kitchen! You can taste the butter in their buttercream (without being too rich or indulgent), you can taste the freshness of their strawberries -- they use real ingredients and treat them impeccably well. We are so grateful to Honey Moon Sweets for making our wedding day so special! We can't wait to come back for each anniversary, birthday, etc for more sweet treats! -

Incredible Flavor, Service and Value
I have hired Honey Moon Sweets twice now: once for my wedding and once for my corporate Holiday party and I can't wait to hire them again. Alisa and team are incredibly helpful and responsive and the cakes... oh my gosh, the CAKES! The cakes I've ordered were both gorgeous and insanely delicious. Great value, beautiful decorations, lots of flavor options and cake that you'll dream of for days afterward. -

Did an excellent job in providing a cake that was perfect for my daughter's weeding. They created cacti topper that was beautiful. Three layers: bottom was chocolate, middle was vanilla, and the top for the bride and groom was vegan. All the layers were delicious. -

Honeymoon Sweets was already on my list of vendors to hire before I ever got engaged and boy did they deliver! They were flexible, worked with me on design and flavors and all with a positive attitude. The cake was SO delicious!!! I still have guests saying it was the best wedding cake they've ever had, and they keep asking me where they got it.
We also had them make small dessert treats for the rehearsal dinner and they were just PERFECT. I'm thrilled that I choose them for the wedding and am pleased with how amazing they were. Definitely go see them if you need a wedding cake! -

There is no better bakery in the Phoenix-area than Honeymoon Sweets. I have been buying and enjoying their products since 2002 and I can testify that they make delicious cakes and treats, they are a top-notch creative team and they offer outstanding customer service. When planning my wedding, I did not consider any other bakery because I knew the Honeymoon Sweets team would be able to create my dream wedding cake and groom’s cake… and they did!
We worked closely with Alisa for months and had a great cake-tasting experience. She and the entire team were professional and exceeded our expectations. They were able to create a 3-tier wedding cake with 3 flavors in the design we wanted. I was also able to work with the cake-designing team on the groom’s cake. They took my specific vision and turned it into a work of art. I was so pleased with both of our cakes! Both were exactly what I envisioned, not to mention absolutely delicious!
Honeymoon Sweets delivers on every aspect of an outstanding bakery. They went above and beyond to make sure we had amazing experience and offered the highest quality of product and service. I highly recommend them for weddings, parties, events, holidays and any sweet-treat needs! -

We had Honeymoon Sweets through our venue and we understand why they only work with them. We did a cutting cake and mini sweets for our wedding. We got to taste test different cakes as well as mini sweets. Everything tasted amazing, the cutting cake turned out perfect! -

What a wonderful experience with everyone here for organizing our wedding cake. We had a deal thru our reception venue which provided a cake. We were able to find the perfect cake. It ended up looking beautiful last month. -

I enjoyed every minute of my experience with this bakery. Our daughter was married two weeks ago and she and her fiancé live in DC so I helped with the arrangements. I went to the tasting at HoneyMoon Sweets and was astonished at how good the cake was. Shelby greeted us at the shop and had several selections. The hard part was choosing from the delicious flavors. Shelby kept in touch with the bride by email so we could be sure she had the cake of her dreams and it was! Shelby also suggested that they could work with our florist, which they did to coordinate. I cannot recommend this company enough. Frankly, after the tasting I drove back there to buy a little dessert for my husband and I. This is truly the best wedding cake I have ever tasted and the folks at Honey Moon Sweets made sure the cake was at the venue on time and beautifully arranged. Thank you!!! -

Our wedding cake was amazing. It looked better than we even pictured. My fiancée wanted funfetti for part of our cake, which they of course did. The cake tasted amazing and was gorgeous. My only regret was that we barely got to eat any because we were so busy. -

Honey Moon Sweets made a gorgeous cake for my wedding. I originally wanted a "naked" cake, but in talking to the bakery, they gave me the idea to have a half-masked cake to keep the rustic feel, but keep the integrity of the actual cake itself. The 3 tiered, 100 guest cake was scrumptious, no store bought taste here! The red velvet with cream cheese mousse frosting layer was smooth and creamy, and the apple spice cake with caramel mousse frosting had actual apples in it! I told them what I wanted and they saw my vision; they delivered a cake that was stunning to look at AND delicious. I can't wait to eat my 1 year anniversary slice! -

The wedding cake was a big focus for me, because I wanted something delicious and moist. The team at Honeymoon made the most delicious wedding cake I've ever tasted. The tasting & design process was a breeze, I changed my mind about a few things just a few weeks before the wedding, and they were flexible and understanding. Emails were turned around in short order, which made planning so incredibly easy. And the cake was gorgeous, too. Their flower placement and design was more than I had even hoped for. -

Stacey, our wedding consultant, was so helpful. She went through everything we needed to know about wedding cakes, frostings and cake types. We had so much to learn and so many questions. Stacey answered each one and helped us pick out the perfect cake for our wedding. She reminded me of deadlines and was great about communicating with me when she received my ribbons and other things. She was also willing to take payments in the easiest manner for me. I would (and have) recommended Honeymoon Sweets to other brides and to others looking for an amazing bakery experience. -

Not only is the cake and goodies above par but the presentation for tasting that Stacey provides is fun, laid back, and I just wish we could go back and taste again! We chose Honeymoon Sweets for our November 15th wedding and couldn't be happier with that choice. Stacy was professional and sweet, even sending us a handwritten thank you card after or first meeting! The cake was just as we expected and remembered from our tasting- moist, delicious, and as we had envisioned it to look. There was also apparently some mishap where our cake topper didn't make it to the venue( our fault- not Honeymoon Sweets) and they added the leftover roses to the top like it was meant to be that way. We were very impressed with Honeymoon sweets in all aspects and definitely recommend them for any wedding. -

Honeymoon Sweets is a great bakery for wedding and anniversary cakes. I used them for our 25th wedding anniversary party and their cake tastes delicious. I did a cake tasting at their bakery before I decided what type of cake flavor to purchase. I brought in a photo of a cake that I wanted and they made it exactly to my specifications. It looked beautiful! They are great to work with; they promptly answered all of my emails, have good payment terms using a credit card, and the cake was delivered on time to my event venue. -

Honey Moon Sweets makes the BEST cakes I have ever had! I knew the first time I had their cake that they would be the ones to create my wedding cake. They did a magnificent job, it looked exactly like the picture we showed them along with the special touches we had requested. The entire cake was pristeen inside and out, and we're STILL getting rave reviews from our guests! We ordered both cake and petite sweets from Honeymoon Sweets. The cake was delicious, but the treats were the biggest hit of the evening. My favorite was the Lime Meringue Tart. Everyone at our wedding raved about our dessert table and we will go back to HS again soon to pick up more of those little desserts. -

We drove to Vegas to get married and had our cake with our 'reception' dinner in Phoenix on our way home the next night. Our cake was fairly simple - just a 50 serving sheet cake with buttercream frosting and a fish fin detail added. Honeymoon sweets was very responsive when corresponding by email about what we wanted and they got the redfish fin just right - my husband LOVED it! Also, we ordered carrot cake with no nuts or raisins and it was made just perfect - if anything, the cake may have been slightly dry toward the end but it traveled back to the Texas coast from Phoenix and it was probably just the box not holding moisture in too well. The middle frosting with the cake was to die for and the outer frosting was not overly sweet but a more buttery flavor and thicker heavier texture but my husband doesn't have much of a sweet tooth so he loved it and everyone who tried it had rave reviews! my only mistake in ordering was I THOUGHT I ordered way more cake than we needed but it was so good we wish we had more! The portion with the fish fin is in our freezer waiting for our first anniversary and I can't wait to enjoy it again and relive the memory of our awesome wedding!! -

Simply put, there is no better cake.! I don't know what they do to make the most amazing buttercream frosting in the world, but once you have it, you want your wedding cake to be made of this. We were referred to Honeymoon Sweets, by our caterer, Santa Barbara Catering. We trusted our caterer for a good recommendation, and our first trip to this bakery did not disappoint. We met with Alisa who was so sweet and helpful. She gave us samples of the cakes we were interested in and we really couldn't decide because they were all just completely delicious. We had been to a previous cake baker and found all the cakes taste virtually the same and topped off with the really sugary buttercream frosting. The cakes at Honeymoon are distinctive in their flavors and the fillings and frostings are delicious and unique. We were able to have a couple of different flavors as part of the wedding cake and Alisa was very good at helping us to work within our budget and to plan for the right amount needed to serve our 200 guests. Every wedding should have good cake and a nice bakery to work with. We were thrilled that Honeymoon Sweets was a part of our special day. -

Honeymoon Sweets was the vendor that we had to go with since our cake was included in our catering package. We had a three tier cake, bottom layer was tres leches and the top two were double chocolate. They have a really cute tasting room with lots of examples, but you only get to taste the flavors of the day...so we had no idea what our cake was going to taste like, just assumed from the random samples we got. They had lots of designs on their website that we were able to choose from. -

Holy cow, this place made the most delicious and most beautiful cake/desserts for our wedding! It was exactly what we wanted. I wouldn't have changed anything. Alisa was a pleasure to work with and the value was beyond great. I even had them make a baseball hat shaped groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner... no one even thought it was a cake! The detail was amazing, I've never seen anything like it. And it was, of course, so darn tasty. Sad to tear it apart and eat it, but I'm glad we did! -

They were very patient with us during the tasting when we were making up our minds, and even let me take home some print outs to think about when I was being indecisive. I ended up deciding to blend two different designs and it turned out perfect. They even sent us home with a bag of mixed pastries on the day of the tasting- just because. :) My cake tasted amazing and everybody loved it. I would reccomend this bakery to any bride. I love them so much I used them for my wedding shower, wedding, and now for my gender party and baby shower! When I needed to change my delivery time on my wedding day to prevent my cake from melting outside, they did just that. They were so discreet I didn't even know they had been there! Our daughter was married on 11-11-2011 at the Doubletree Guests Suites here in Phoenix and the wedding cake was included in the package from the hotel. The cake was simple but beautiful just like our daughter wanted. She chose red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and white cake with bavarian filling. Everyone raved about the cake and how delicious and moist it was. I would defnately recommend this bakery to anyone. -

Our cake was absolutely beautiful! It was just as I had requested. The little bit I actually got to eat was awesome, unfortunately I was just too busy to sit and eat a slice. We have full intentions of having them duplicate the top layer for us on our 1st anniversary (ours got smooshed due to no ones fault but or own). -

Our cake was perfect! My husband and I had no difficulty in picking out our cake layers and filling. One white (vanilla) with fresh strawberries and one chocolate with strawberry mousse. They even did the color scheme that I wanted, light green with dark purple piping. I want to go back and order another cake for our 1 year anniversary. We couldn't keep our top tier, so we will just recreate it! -

I used Honey Moon Sweets for a specialty groom's cake that turned out amazing! I had requested a 3-D St. Louis Cardinals cake in the shape of the Cardinal and thats exactly what I got! They were extremely easy to work with and were flexible with delivery times as it was a surprise to my husband! We loved the cake and it was definitely a show stopper to his whole family from St. Louis! Thanks Honey Moon Sweets! -

Honeymoon Sweets did a wonderfule job on my cake. It came out beautiful. I did not get to taste it (was to busy dancing) but people were fighting over the leftovers so I imagine it was tasty! -

My daughters' wedding was last weekend, and we used this vendor twice. Both families live out of state, so we had a "celebration" the day before and ordered a cake , which was so unique & very delicious. The wedding cake was simply gorgeous. Our wedding cake looked amazing. I had wanted something that didn't look contrived or 'cathedral,' and Honey Moon Sweets did a beautiful job. I had initially wanted the cake to have a natural, organic look with mixed loose flowers scattered on it and no formal cake topper. I made the mistake of ordering a cake topper through a florist shop, but Honey Moon Sweets was able to 'borrow' flowers from the cake topper as well as some loose bunches that I picked up and turn it into a lovely, more organic, cake topping masterpiece. -

It came as a package from the Embassy Suites in Tempe and I had never heard of them. However, it was AMAZING! I had this idea of what I wanted and that is exactly what I got. We loved the cake so much that we also got one for my bridal shower (just as delicious). The cake is something that is important because it's usually the one dessert of the evening, and everyone remembers it. Our cake was fresh and beautiful. I am so happy that it was amazing and still remember the taste of my Honeymoon Sweet's wedding cake. -

We had our wedding at The Moon Valley Country club and the cake from Honeymoon Sweets was part of the package. I am not much of a cake person, so imagine my surprise when our cake turned out to be truly delicious! We chose 2 tiers of Red Velvet with cream cheese filling, and one tier that was lemmon with bavarian cream and whole fresh blueberries (at the chef's suggestion). Both were delicious. In fact we have been enjoying wedding cake all week at home since the big day. Thie service was outstanding, and the whole tasting experience was fun and laid back. They even allowed my six year old to participate in the fun. Thanks for a great product...it was a great experience. -

The cake tasting was laid back, but the lady we met with was very confident in her product, which was nice. The cake was simple yet gorgeous. They did exactly what I wanted, and the cake wasn’t half bad either...no, it was delicious! They were very flexible...we had a set day we had to pay by (probably a month or 2 prior to the wedding), but we realized we totally forgot about it until two weeks before the wedding! There were no words about it, it was not a deal at all. They have an array of different flavors. We went with a marble cake with amaretto & chocolate mousse filling. The amaretto was TO-DIE-FOR. My mom also used them for my bridal shower cupcakes as well, also yummy! -

Honeymoon Sweets was highly recommended by my daughter's ceremony officiant. They created the cake to my daughters exact specifications. The cake was in two layers, with white cake on the larger bottom layer and chocolate on the top layer. This was the most delicious wedding cake Ive ever eaten, absolutely perfection.
Several guests remarked on how delicious the cake was. The frosting was buttercream, but it was completely smooth and looked like fondant. The cake from Honeymoon Sweets was beautiful, a highlight of the day and this vendor definitely rates an A plus.
