Homestead on McVey Reviews

Homestead on McVey was an ideal venue for our wedding of less than 100! They include the tables and chairs and other decorations that you can use to really help minimize added rental costs. The venue is ideal if you want to have an outdoor ceremony and reception, but have the barn as a backup for bad weather or to setup your band & dancing which is what we did! The rental house was also amazing to stay in the night before and night of the wedding for a small added cost. Julia and Cindy were the nicest people and so helpful before and during the wedding!!! Highly recommend this venue, the backdrop of the Bitterroot mountains to the west is just beautiful for an outdoor wedding!

We got married here on a Tuesday in June and it was seriously amazing and I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding. There was even wild deer in the pasture next to us who watched the whole ceremony. Insanely gorgeous mountain views, beautiful trees, the picnic tables were set so beautifully they looked so elegant and simplistic. The house on the property was so comfortable to use to get ready in. Seriously could not think of a single thing to make this place better, it's already perfect. When planning my wedding I had always envisioned a big white barn with plenty of space for our large families, and when a family friend told me to look up the Homestead on McVey I knew it was perfect.

Julia and her mom were so great to work with, let us come by for multiple viewings of the space, and were quick to answer any questions we had and offer help along the way.

The location is absolutely gorgeous, and we held both our ceremony and reception here. The space was big enough to fit our guest list of 250+ but also felt intimate and cozy. Truly could not recommend this venue enough!!

This was the perfect venue for our wedding this past summer. We wanted something that would show off the beauty of the bitterroot valley without being overly western themed (e.g. no red barn with cowboy boots and hay bales). The staff were amazing to work with and couldn’t be happier with the choice.
