Not only did this cake look amazing, but it was by far the best wedding cake I've ever eaten. The staff was super easy to work with, very responsive, and was able to do a small gluten free sheet cake which was awesome for my GF guests! If I have one negative thing to say, it's that now whenever I eat cake, I am truly disappointed unless it is from Holly's Cakes. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing and Tasty Cake
My family has used Holly’s Cakes for all occasions. I was so excited to use her for my wedding. My fiancé and I were able to attend a tasting to choose the flavors that we wanted. I sent Holly multiple pictures of cakes that I wanted to combine on each tier for my cake. She made my dreams come true! My cake was so beautiful and tasted sooo good. A very memorable cake
As soon as we tasted Holly's Cakes at a wedding festival, my husband immediately put down a down payment. That is how good this cake is. Their sweet potato cake is the best cake ever. I have had a few other friends who also had Holly's Cakes and the quality has been top tier (haha) for everyone. I knew that I wanted a variety of desserts instead of a big cake. I’m not a big cake person. They had a very affordable menu of treats to pick from. I was obsessed with the tarts and the chocolate covered strawberries.
Also, I got a lot of compliments on the sweet potato (which tasted like carrot cake) cake we had. So delicious. We even got to sample a variety of treats and cakes before the wedding to see which we liked. We had a to go box that we got delivered curbside due to COVID.

Holly's always delivers exceptional service!
I first heard of Holly's Cakes several years ago when I catered while in college. Soon after, I could recognize a cake from Holly's simply by the taste--I'm not a huge fan of wedding cake myself, but Holly's is my ultimate exception that I will NEVER turn down when given the opportunity to grab a piece. That's why when we began our wedding planning back in 2017, there was no doubt who our baker would be. Doing a cake tasting from Holly's even convinced my then-fiancé that sweet potato cake CAN be an amazing cake flavor when done well!
Mrs. Holly & her team were always incredibly accommodating for our needs. We originally signed a contract with the anticipation of 150+ people, but as time went on and a world-wide pandemic began to loom over our wedding plans, we slowly kept decreasing our guest count, eventually ending up somewhere around less than 20 people total for our wedding day. I even had to ask about down-sizing the surprise Groom's Cake I had planned on--luckily, Holly's Cakes gave me a great suggestion--let's make it out of rice krispie! So in the end, we had a beautiful, 2 tiered wedding cake + a small purple D20 Groom's Rice Krispie and it was perfect! They also helped offer suggestions for a Gluten-Free treat for one of our guests!
Several of our guests asked me what flavor the sweet potato layer was--and couldn't believe it was sweet potato! If you've never tried it as a cake flavor...or have and didn't particularly enjoy, definitely try it out from Holly's Cakes, you might just change your mind!

I can’t say enough about Holly’s Cakes! We went to three other cake tastings, and no one else’s compared. Every single flavor we picked was delicious and the whole cake was eaten at the reception! My parents only had a tiny bit left to take home because everyone loved it so much. Holly also sent us with a sweet note for our honeymoon with a slice of every piece and then mailed us a sweet thank you note in the mail. We can’t recommend her enough!

Holly's Cakes did a wonderful job for our wedding. She had some unique options as far as flavors went. When I first read Sweet Potato as an option I was skeptical but once we tried it... it was SOOOO GOOD! We actually made that our take home cake and the one we had at the wedding. We got three different flavors. Everyone said how great the cake was! Holly was very responsive, easy to work with, and very reasonably priced for the quality!
The only thing I would mention to keep in mind for those not familiar with Greenville... This was a destination wedding for us... The only thing that we were not expecting was it was a good 20-30 minutes out of Downtown Greenville to meet for our tasting/ consultation. This is not really a big deal just something to keep in mind if you are an out-of-towner. It was fine getting an Uber out to meet with Holly but getting one to come back was a little difficult because it's in the country. If you have a rental car than that's perfect!

We used Holly for our wedding cake, and i had my eyes on her cakes for awhile from tasting at the wedding festivals. The tasting went so smoothly and was fun. We got to taste a handful of cakes and fillings (and enjoyed every moment of it!) and even had some fun mixing up a few of the flavors. When designing the cake we knew what we wanted to do and had some inspiration photos to help. Holly was so awesome when it came to sketching it out and really making our vision come to life, especially with my request of some hidden mickeys into the piping. The day of the wedding, seeing it in person, we were in awe of how absolutely perfect it turned out!! The designs were just as perfect as I had asked and dreamed it would be! The flavors were AMAZING, and EVERYONE enjoyed them! Aside from all of the wonderful things, the extra little touch of having a layer of each flavor (we had 4) back in the room for us, was the icing on the cake and so sweet! Cannot recommend holly enough and no words can truly describe how happy we are with everything! Thank you Holly. We will be back!

You can't beat Holly's Cakes!
We were told that Holly’s Cakes was the best of the best, and that’s not a joke! We met with Holly for a tasting and she provided half a dozen different flavors of cakes and icings/fillings to choose from and it was seriously so hard to decide what we wanted because they were all delicious! We didn’t want fondant on our cake because neither of us are big fans of the taste, so we went with an all buttercream cake and it turned out beautifully. It was simple and elegant and exactly what we wanted. We were even more surprised that she included a separate anniversary cake in her pricing, so that our guests could actually enjoy the top layer of cake at the wedding!
I also had Holly do our groom’s cake and it came out even better than I could have wanted! My husband has a Scottish terrier who he adores, and I knew that for the groom’s cake I wanted to do something with a scottie. Holly and I went back and forth on several designs but eventually landed on a design I found on pinterest. All I had to do was send her the photo of the design, a picture of his dog, and a photo of his collar and she created the most epic Scottish terrier 3D cake! It was a hit at our rehearsal dinner and we are looking forward to using Holly for all of our special occasion cakes in the future! (I’ve got my heart set on a unicorn cake at some point!)

My wife got my birthday cake for Holly's Cake. The cake was the best that I have ever had that is the best way I can describe it. We live in York SC and she delivered the cake to our house and set it up for us what more can I say. My son buys cakes from her all the time he lives in Anderson SC and that is how we knew about her. You know how at most weddings there is a lot of cake left over? People don’t really eat it? Not so with Holly’s cake! We had four different kinds and had enough for 130 with only 105 in attendance and it all was gone. People raved about how good it was. And she was also wonderful to work with. Don’t hesitate- just go with her!

This was our first visit to explore cake venders, and here it was, a one-stop spot because Holly pulled out a surprise. She met with us at the Wedding Group place with a line of small cakes to taste. She also showed us a long list of different flavors and the charges for each groups if we decided to pick them. The cakes were to die for. My favorite is still the churro cake because it tastes like snickerdoodle cookie in cake form and melts in your mouth. When she asked us which one we liked the most out of all the cakes and icing/frosting. We both pointed to the churro and laughed. She makes wonderful cakes! You definitely have to visit her and see what you think for yourself!

If you have never tried sweet potato cake...you're missing out!!! It is the tastiest cake I've ever had! Holly is a true artist... whatever type of cake you're wanting she will deliver!!!! I had been in a wedding where the bride had used Holly previously, and was delighted with the taste a quality of the cake. Holly ended up being the ONLY cake vendor I went to and had an appointment with - she was very flexible with the set-up appointment, had great ideas, understood our desires for a small cut-able cake and large sheet cakes - and the cake was eaten SO quickly. All of the flavors that I was able to try were great - and she wrapped and froze our anniversary cake ahead of time and held it for a week until we were able to get it. It looked perfect too! We were extremely pleased with her work and her prompt answers to questions.

Our cake was easily the highlight of our wedding. Our guests mobbed the cake table waiting for a slice! The cake was perfect in every way, Holly was a pleasure to work with, and the price was beyond reasonable for what we got. The quality is unparalleled- we can't even pick a favorite flavor because they're all so good! In addition to providing a beautiful cake for the wedding, Holly's team made sure we got a slice of each flavor in a to-go box (with utensils!!) since we were too busy to enjoy a slice at the wedding. Beyond that, Holly freezes the anniversary tier for you, so there's no need to worry about a tier being saved at the wedding. Going with Holly's Cakes was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

Excellent experience with Holly! Her cake flavor selections are amazing and didn't disappoint on my daughter's wedding day. Prices were great compared to the other bakers we checked. We would use Holly again without a doubt!

Holly listened to our ideas for our Groom's cake and wedding cake. She made our wishes and dreams a reality. We were very pleased. Holly's cakes are delicious, her team is very talented, and she is absolutely amazing!

From the time we met her up until the day of...she was wonderful. I told her my vision and she created it right infront of me. She was very professional, my husband and I went to three other cake tasting but no one was Holly!!! Everyone loved the cake, not just the appearance but the taste was amazing!!!!! Thank you Holly for our amazing wedding cake!!!

Holly did an amazing job!! Our experience with her was beyond incredible. She helped us to custom design our Groom's cake and Wedding cake!! Our guests were raving about the cake and loved the combination of flavors. I will continue to highly recommend her. My brother and his wife used Holly's Cakes about 5 years ago and we loved the cakes then, so we chose them for our wedding too! But not just for that reason...Holly's Cakes has beyond delicious cake, with a ton of nontraditional cake and icing choices. We had a sweet potato cake which was fabulous. Not only did it taste good, the cake was gorgeous and just what we asked for. It was a great price and not the boring typical wedding cake! I would use Holly again!
