Holly and her team are INCREDIBLE. My wife and I truly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer. She's a pro with the camera, for sure, but her attention-to-detail on the day and the way she made us feel so comfortable during all of the shoots is the real reason she's a cut above the rest. Amazing Experience, Amazing Photos

Having been both a bridesmaid and a bride in weddings Holly has done in 2024, it’s no exaggeration to say she is amazing! Holly is THE best! We are in love with our wedding album 😍

Holly did my wedding last June, and the photos are absolutely gorgeous! She’s seriously incredible, a joy to work with, and so extremely talented. From the beginning she was extremely organized and on top of it. She works with you early on to ensure she understands all the photos you want taken and with who. On the day of the wedding, she captured ALL of the most special moments absolutely perfectly. She spent time making sure to pose us which was helpful, as my husband and I are both typically awkward when it comes to photos 😂 I’ve never really liked photos of myself so I was pretty nervous to get our wedding album back, but we were both in love with the photos. It was so hard choosing the maximum photos allowed for the album, as they were all gorgeous. I ended up paying extra to add more than 50 additional photos haha. My only regret is not hiring her to take photos of the rehearsal dinner. A photographer is one of the most important individuals to hire for your wedding, and I can say with confidence that Holly is the best of the best. If you are considering her, absolutely do it, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Holly for everything!!!

Great, so much more than I expected..

I highly recommend Holly D Photography. She took pictures of our 50th wedding anniversary celebration She was very committed to making our day special. She was personal, very caring, flexible, and understanding. She asked about how we met, about our family and special parts of our ceremony. She made sure to find out what pictures we wanted her to take. She took so many special pictures. I love them mostly because every time I look at the pictures, I get to relive our special day through the great pictures she took. I have to mention that several of our guest mentioned how impressed they were with her. I can't say enough about how happy we are that Holly took our pictures. I hope I have another opportunity for her to take pictures for us again.

Words can’t express how much we loved working with Holly & her team for our wedding. We truly couldn’t have picked a better person to capture every moment on our special day. My husband and I initially didn’t plan to do a first look but Holly recommended that we do it to catch the sunlight and it was the best decision we made. She really wants the best for her clients and has so much knowledge that we knew we were in great hands from the very beginning. Holly is dedicated to get to know and connect with her clients. Best choice for photography

Selecting our photographer for the wedding day was a big deal for me, I knew the photos were something I would always look back on. From the moment I spoke to Holly, I knew she was the perfect person to shoot our wedding day. She was so personable, professional, and made me feel comfortable. One of my concerns was the dark lighting in our planetarium ceremony, but from the getting ready photos to the first look, ceremony to reception, it was all amazing. I literally can't stop looking at them or sharing them. All of our guests were impressed by Holly and her second shooter Ken, who truly left us with an amazing gallery to cherish for a lifetime, we can not recommend her enough!

I wish I could give Holly a 10 out of 5 stars!

We discovered Holly through our wedding venue, Regale Winery. As we browsed through various wedding sample albums, Holly's work immediately stood out to us with its airy, bright, and summery theme.

Before our wedding, we had a delightful 1-hour pre-wedding photo session with Holly at SF City Hall. From the moment we met her, Holly's cheerfulness and positivity made the experience truly enjoyable. As she captured our moments, she effortlessly brought out genuine laughs and smiles, making the whole process feel natural and easy.

Holly went above and beyond by accommodating our requests for some additional shots at SF City Hall, which we greatly appreciated. Moreover, her turnaround time for delivering the photos was impressively quick, unlike some photographers who take several months to provide the final.

Holly has clearly put a lot of thought into her services, and on her website, she offers questionnaires to help plan various aspects of the event, such as family photos and timeline. Her professionalism and genuine desire to assist shine through, making the entire process smoother and more enjoyable.

Now, about the wedding photos themselves - they are nothing short of breathtaking! The end result far surpassed our expectations, leaving us amazed by the stunning and gorgeous photos. We are excited to create a hardcopy album to preserve these precious memories forever.

Looooove her!

Holly is absolutely amazing! I attended a family member's wedding where Holly worked and she was fun, friendly and professional and her work was great. So my husband and I knew we wanted to have her capture our wedding day. We met with her before the wedding to visit the venue. She had awesome ideas which we loved and wanted to include in our wedding and they turned out well!
During the wedding, she guided us on some poses and made us feel comfortable. The photos turned out AMAZING and I'm so glad I have them and can relive the best day ever.
If you're contemplating on the wedding album, just do it. I'm glad we got the album because we let our guests who come over look at the album and they love it!

Holly is so much fun!

Holly was an absolutely exquisite photographer! She knew all of the best angles and shots and directed us flawlessly. She is also just a super fun person to hang out with. She is so sweet and made everyone feel very comfortable. I had some specific shots that I wanted in a certain area of Monterey and she was happy to accommodate any of my requests. I also found her pricing to be very reasonable considering the amount of time you have her and her assistant photographer, who was also fabulous! I was thrilled with the photos when I got them back and can't stop looking at them. I would highly recommend Holly for all of your photography needs!

We loved Holly from our first phone call with her. I fell in love with her photography style and website and then loved every minute of working with her. Holly is sweet, friendly, and incredibly talented. She really understands wedding photography, brides and their needs. Holly made every shot I dreamed of a beautiful reality. She listened to my ideas and found ways to make them happen. She was responsive, attentive, creative, and flexible. She even got up on top of a wall to take a picture I absolutely had to have!

Amazing photography, incredibly organized

Holly and her second shooter Luis took beautiful photos of our wedding. They were prompt, communicative, friendly, and an all-around pleasure to work with.

We had a stellar set of wedding vendors, but Holly might have been the most organized and hardworking of all of them. She even put together a proposed timeline for our entire wedding day!

Holly suggested all sorts of great places to take photos as well. She proposed two beach locations for our engagement shoot at Half Moon Bay. Our wedding was at the Chabot Space and Science Center and she knew all the best spots and how to get the lighting just right. She had a beautiful redwood area picked out for the first look pictures, too. Holly went above and beyond throughout our wedding day, from showing up early on our wedding day, to pulling things like bobby pins to fix the bride’s hair out of her emergency kit. She is an incredibly warm and thoughtful person and helped keep everything calm and fun when we took photos with her. The photos turned out AMAZING and we and our family are so grateful that we have such beautiful pictures with which to remember our wedding day.

Breathtaking photos; life-saving photographer

I reached out to Holly in a moment of desperation. Our photographer did not comply with the venue vaccination requirements and I was informed less than two months before our wedding date. I called Holly to (hopefully) see if she had availability, and by miracle or divine intervention she did! She called back promptly and we got straight to business sorting out what kind of photos we wanted and those that she suggested. She went the extra mile, attending the walk-through we had scheduled for the NEXT DAY following our initial phone call and also participated in our tech rehearsal. We had consistent communication via her online portal (through email) and she was also open to texting for quick questions. Holly was instrumental in finalizing our schedule for the day. Her experience really helped us understand how long each step in preparation was going to take. She is a preferred vendor at our venue (Chabot Space and Science Center), and with good reason. The photos she took for us in the redwoods and in the planetarium were actually out of this world, so she is excellent at shooting in dim or unusual settings. Her second shooter worked with the groom and groomsmen while she focused her attention on the bride and bridal party. She returned the photos to us within three weeks through her online portal. I can't recommend Holly enough. In addition to having very reasonable pricing, she is so professional and has amazing products that perfectly captured our big day.

The most beautiful photos!!

This review is long overdue. Holly was our photographer for our wedding 2 years ago, and we still think of her often. We had such a great time shooting with her,
and she really does AMAZING work!! Her final product is so good, for example, her photo album books, are stunningly original and beautiful. Every person that I
show it to is just completely blown away.
The album itself is like a showpiece, with a leather display box and a gorgeous cover and layout, when I look at it and all
of our photos from our day, I can hardly believe that it is really us! It looks like we
are a couple from a storybook fairytale, and not just us two regular people!
Holly helped make our wedding one of the best decisions of our lives, not just because of what it means to officially seal our love on paper, but also because of
the experience we had at the wedding and with her as our photographer. She took every single thing we said into
account, and catered to our every wish, no matter how difficult. groom with our 2 cats and dog, and let
me tell you, to orchestrate cats into a wedding photo is no small feat! And now these photos are some of my very favorite photos in life!! Holly was game for anything and was an integral part of making our day the most special of our
lives thus far. Holly is also unbelievably supportive. She
helped handle delicate emotions (as can be known to happen at weddings) by being supportive and helpful and played an important role in things continuing along smoothly, which is just totally priceless. I can't say enough wonderful things about both Holly's photos and also
her as a person to work with. But even if Holly wasn't so wonderful to work with, she'd still be the best photographer simply due to her work, which is truly
beautiful and original, with both classic and imaginative elements, making for the

It was a wonderful experience having Holly as our photographer

This review was long overdue! Holly was our photographer for our wedding on September 19th, 2020. My wife and I had our wedding planned on May 30th 2020, but obviously due to Covid, we had to postpone this date. Holly was very flexible with accommodating our wedding date change, even with her busy schedule. Holly had everything organized with a full itinerary of our timeline for our wedding day. During the photo shoot a few hours prior to the wedding, she was very attentive and detail-oriented with her picture-taking. Holly was very professional and had great ideas on where to take pictures, along with the best background, and made my wife and I feel comfortable with the photos. When my wife and I received our photo album from Holly, we absolutely loved it! A Top-Notch Photographer for Capturing any Special Day

Holly was introduced to us by our wedding coordinator, Tan Weddings and Events. Our first impression of Holly was that she was an incredibly kind and professional individual. At our engagement session, we had no idea what to expect, as that was our first professional photography session. The end result was a fun and memorable afternoon. We were immediately impressed by the fact that Holly went out of her way to accommodate our busy work schedules. She took it upon herself to hike up a mountain and scout the area an hour prior to our arrival, to find the perfect spots. Beautiful Photos and Wonderful to Work With

Holly was incredible to work with and was able to capture so many special moments of our Big Day! When our plans completely changed due to COVID-19, Holly was very flexible and worked with us to ensure our day was just as special. On the day of our wedding, it felt like we had another good friend or family member there, who just so happens to be really good at taking photos.

We have already recommended Holly's services to friends and family and will continue in the future.

Oh my! She is GREAT!

Words can’t fully explain how amazing Holly’s talent is! She definitely enhanced our wedding memories through her photography. Her customer service is on another level! So professional, so kind and caring, throughout the whole day. Holly even participated in the gift exchange between my “husband to be” and I, and memorized that experience with every snap of the camera. I’ve been told that some photographers want to capture “their vision” and sometimes forget the couple. Holly takes in consideration all elements of the couple, the family, venue, preferences and makes sure it’s captured in such a beautiful way. My wedding day has past and I am still looking over the photos! The venue didn’t have many options for what many would call for beautiful backgrounds, but Holly made it seem so picturesque. I am soo glad that Holly took our photos. We looked at her work for some time and sorta picked our wedding date based on her availability. It was definitely worth it. Thanks Holly!!!

Above and Beyond!

Holly was the best wedding vendor decision we made. Planning a wedding is overwhelming, and there are tons of options out there when it comes to each part of the wedding, including photography! Right from the start, Holly was kind, professional and reliable. And trust me when I say that reliability isn't something that I can say about most wedding vendors :) Holly went above any beyond on our special day to make the day smooth, easy, comfortable, and fun! Our bridal party and family all commented on how great she was. We received our photos quickly and LOVE them! Holly completely knocked it out of the park and I will always refer her to friends.

Best decision we made for our wedding

My husband and I got married in June in Carmel and Holly was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for our wedding exceeding all of our expectations. Holly felt more than just a vendor and more like a friend that was capturing our entire day. She was so patient, responsive and enthusiastic throughout the entire process and I knew from the first phone call with her that I wanted her as our photographer on our wedding day! She knows exactly how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and helped us enjoy being in the moment. We also did engagement pictures with Holly and they turned out beautifully. We will have no hesitation having her as our photographer again in the future for other exciting events in our lives. We love you Holly!

If I could give Holly 10 stars, I would! She was so helpful through the entire wedding process, from planning to Printing photos. She was patient with my little ones and captured even the most stubborn little smiles. I would recommend her over and over and will definite be a repeat customer!

Fairytale photos Sonoma

Holly was great to work with for our 25th wedding vow renewal. She made sure to get to know us and our wishes for the event on forehand even though we live in Norway and all contact was through phone and emails and 9 hour timedifference. She has a pleaseant personality and made us all relax and act natural in front of the camera. We had pictures taken of us as a couple and our 4 kids ages 25, 22 and 14, as well as family pictures. The pictures are wonderful and easy to download and get printed. We recommend Holly warmly.

Amazing!!!

Working with Holly has been amazing! She was so good that we booked her twice! Once for our City Hall event and then for our actual wedding day. I'm so glad that I was introduced to her by my best friend. I followed her work on Instagram and after seeing some of her photos I wanted to set up a call. Ever since our initial meeting, I knew right then and there that I wanted Holly to be our photographer.

Throughout the whole experience, she was professional from the beginning to the very end. We set up a meeting in Pleasanton to do a quick walk through of the venue to scope out the area. She shared with us her vision of where and what she wanted to shoot. On the actual wedding day, we did all of that and more. Along the way we had to make some quick adjustments which she accommodated.

I could go on and on about all the details from our 3 months of being in contact with each other, but to sum it up, Holly made us both feel very comfortable and relaxed. She took the time to hear our story and to keep things fun. We all know taking photos does have its awkward moments, but hey, we do it for the gram. To top things off, she even surprised us with a little gift at the end.

The best decision I made for my wedding!

I really cant thank Holly enough. For me when all is said and done, the wedding photos are the thing i look forward to most in weddings, and knew that it would be the most important part for me too which is why i was nervous and careful to choose the best photographer possible so i would never ever have any regrets. Ive seen some beautiful weddings get some pretty lackluster treatment by photographers, ive also seen some very lovely photographs from weddings but that didnt evoke much from me, if that makes sense.. but Holly's are the most beautiful and inspiring ive ever seen, i truly cant get enough and i mean that. The way she understands how light and color work sounds like something any photographer should understand but they just dont have the grasp she does. And the way she knows how to bring out genuine emotion in her clients when she takes her shots.. im seeing these photos and remembering EXACTLY how i was feeling in that moment because my face says it all.

(And this is just an extra TMI here that im sure you all have heard before but as someone thats insecure with her body, knowing i would be photographed at every angle and knowing i wasnt at my ideal weight, i had fears that i would look back at wedding photos and be so upset with how i looked.. shallow i know, but Holly made me feel so confident and comfortable and beautiful, and she looked out for me and helped me show my best self, I dont feel anything other than positivity and happiness and love seeing these. And that is extremely extremely rare for me!!)

The little personal touches she adds to your experience with her, too, like the quality of the photobook... I dont know if i can say it enough but thank you thank you thank you Holly.

Thank you for being someone i will always remember and be grateful for saying yes to being involved in my wedding. She really deserves every bit of praise that comes her way and more. I hope this helps more people find her as their photographer, because they deserve to be as happy with my choice as I am!!

Simply delightful photographer for any occasion

Holly is simply fantastic to work with. She creates beautiful imagery but also makes you feel comfortable and helps you have fun doing something that can feel a little foreign and awkward at times. She's extremely professional but also personable. We have used her services many times and is first to mind when a mutual client needs photography services.

Beautiful Family Portraits

Holly D is the absolute BEST! She took the most beautiful pictures of me and my family. One of my sons has autism, and trying to hold his attention as well as maintaining eye contact is no small feat. She made the experience stress free and was able to connect with him in such a way that only a skilled professional could do. Hmm where do I begin?!? Holly did it again. :). This time it was one of the most important and precious times.. MY WEDDING. I remember calling Holly letting her know I was engaged and needed her for my wedding. We met and discussed dates. She was not available the first date I provided so I pushed the wedding out a week because I truly value captured memories and Holly has that skill. The day of my wedding was amazing! Holly was able to capture moments I didn't even know .... as a bride you're so busy with being the center of attention you can miss some of the small moment. My husband , family , guest and I were able to really enjoy ourselves while at the wedding. Holly has a great sense in know how to interact with everyone to make it fun and laidback. Everyone hates the school picture moment...that being said she was able to capture some great moment of my friend ( maid of honor) and I... we felt like we were back in junior high. I am beyond happy!!!! Thank you Holly!!!!

Photography isn't about being able to point a camera and press a button; photography is about capturing and bringing to life a moment so that 20 years into the future you'll remember it like it was yesterday. That's the mark of a true photographer. Anyone can pull out their cellphone and snap a shot, but not everyone knows how to create memories and have them frozen in time forever. Holly D. and I have known each other for years and I've had the privilege of watching her develop her craft and her eye, all the while admiring her professionalism and kindheartedness. So it was a no-brainer to have her capture one of the most prolific moments in my life: my wedding! Holly is absolutely fabulous!! She took pictures for our engagement and wedding. She provided some great locations for our engagement photos and was able to find lovely spots around the premises where our wedding was being held. She captured so many great shots of us! There’s so many things I can say about Holly ! My husband and I are very happy with our photos by holly , we had the pleasure of having holly not only do our engagement photos as well as our wedding day photos , and I mean she got both events at all angles I literally was looking at the album like “when was she over there, to get This picture standing over here” it’s amazing , she literally never misses a shot ! , communication was 100% all the time , we are not picture takers and we are very silly so getting serious shots I was surprise but holly made us so comfortable and the best experience ever , every chance I get I’m showing some one my engagement and wedding photos , and as a surprise to me holly also did my bridal shower my friends had for me and those picture were all so nice as well , the way holly takes pictures it makes me feel like “now this is the true meaning of , a picture is worth a thousand words !” Because she literally gets every moment , I love Holly !

My husband and I are extremely grateful to have the opportunity to work with and have Holly as our wedding photographer! All her photos are breath taking and till this day we cannot get over how beautiful our engagement/wedding photos turned out!

What makes it pleasant about having Holly as our photographer is that she has the most kind and genuine heart. She takes the time to know her couples and explains everything in detail about the whole wedding process which helped us know what to expect and helped us feel at ease. She was quick to respond (both through email and by phone) whenever we had any questions or concerns. What we like about Holly is that my husband and I are camera shy and she made us feel very comfortable around the camera. To top if off, our photography sessions were so fun! We had so many good laughs while we were taking our photos which made it even more memorable.

We love the fact that she took time to drive out to meet us at our wedding venue a week before our wedding. We meet to scope out places for photo opportunities and sunset photos. She has gone far beyond what we would think any photographer would do. We are definitely going back to Holly for any other future photography needs! We highly recommend Holly!

Holly is an amazing photographer! She has an eye to pose you in the right location and right position that will flatter any body type. I don't know where to start when I describe how much we love Holly. From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey she has gone above and beyond to help us prepare for our special day and have fun doing it. Holly has the ability to make you feel comfortable and have fun taking photos, even if it's in a crowded touristy area like the Palace of Fine Arts. No matter how gray the weather is or how gloomy a room might look, Holly manages to make the photos she takes turn out bright and beautiful. You can instantly tell when you meet her that she truly loves what she does, and this is certainly visible in her work. We are so glad we got to work with Holly for one of the most special days in our lives!

Holly was beyond amazing. We were very lucky to have her as our photographer! Holly was very sweet and so easy to work with. She was down to earth, which made everyone in the wedding party (including family and ourselves) feel super comfortable when getting their pictures taken. Everyone was raving about her at the wedding, and my mom has already been recommending her to everyone she can. The photos were absolutely beautiful, and better than I could have even imagined. She captured the decor and our special moments so perfectly :). We will definitely be recommending her to others!

My fiancé and I won an engagement photo session at a bridal fair we went to. Holly was so nice and helpful from the very beginning. My fiancé and I had a great time at our photo session. Holly made us feel very comfortable! And our pictures came out amazing! I would recommend her to anyone!

If you need a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable photographer Holly is your go to woman! For our engagement photo shoot, Holly kept the atmosphere light with jokes and interesting. I absolutely recommend Holly as your photographer. She has an amazing work ethic and at one point I told her to please stop and join our party. We had the perfect wedding planned and then the fire hit Napa. We were told three days before our wedding that we were unable to hold our reception at the designated site. Therefore we had to change venues and flex. There was no time line and we had the wedding of a lifetime. We had to change our location for pictures prior to the wedding. Holly was so flexible and we have the most beautiful pictures. She made our church setting look like a garden, our before pictures look like we were in the Redwoods, and our wedding pictures were just perfect. I adore her!!!

Holly is so AWESOME!! She made our special day even more special, more than I could've ever imagined! We didn't even notice her during the ceremony, she is great at hiding in plain site and getting all the best shots. When I got my pictures back I saw that she had captured every moment of the ceremony, side conversations between myself, my husband, and our guests, and the details of the wedding (rings, flowers, tables, shoes, accesories, etc.). When it came time to go take pictures at our chosen location, she brought the best smiles and poses out of us like it was so easy. My pictures turned out so beautiful, I didn't expect them to be so great because I do not consider myself to be photogenic but I knew Holly was amazing so I trusted her as she guided us through the best poses. We had so much fun and I cannot wait to use her again in the future.

Holly and her assistant were absolutely amazing!! She did our engagement photos as well and by the day of the wedding we felt as though she was just one of our good friends taking our pics. It is easy to tell that Holly LOVES what she does and just wants to make your day an absolutely spectacular memory, which she does with ease! As the bride and groom it's hard to see your day unfold before your eyes. There is so much going on that it's easy to miss things and Holly captures all those moments, memories, and details for you to enjoy for the rest of your lives. Holly is dedicated and a hard worker! There were times during dinner that she and her assistant left their own meals to take our photos while we were talking to tables, all of a sudden they were there snapping away - that is dedication! We would recommend Holly over and over again! Not only were we absolutely lucky to have found her but we can't tell you how many guests and other vendors commented on how great she was! Holly has been FANTASTIC to work with for our wedding! From meeting her in person in advance of our big day to the day of to all the post wedding details, it has been a pleasure working with her! What made us love Holly so much?

* Her skills with a camera. The photos are absolutely beautiful and she got us posed and took photos in no time at all. It didn't feel like an exhausting chore to get all our posed photos for the wedding, it was so much fun instead!

* Her personality. You spend a lot of time with your wedding photographer on the big day and we love hanging out with Holly. My husband and I want to hang out with her more!

* Her professionalism. She was always responsive, consistent, on time...

Holly went above and beyond, when we ran late on our timeline and asked her to stay an extra hour, she was able to with no questions asked. She just made me feel so at ease on a very stressful, but fun, day.

We eloped from NC to the Redwoods in California. Shopping for an online photographer isn't easy, but as soon as I seen some pictures Holly took I knew she was "the One"...not only does she take the time to get to know you aNd your partner, but she's like so Genuine & simply as sweet as sweet can be! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and I am so happy our paths crossed and especially on our very special day to celebrate our love. She takes awesome photos our pictures were such great quality and I couldn't be happier with them or her! :)

From the start, Holly was so incredible! She made sure to get every detail of information in before our big day, from the names of our family, to moments we wanted to make sure and capture, to simply getting to know us as a couple. She made us feel so comfortable and natural while taking photos! When we saw the finished product, we couldn't believe our eyes with how beautiful every single shot was. Holly was the absolute best photographer we could have asked for. She made our wedding even more memorable. She was fun, professional, prompt, responsive, and a great sport. Her assistant John was great too! Holly made our wedding day and leading up to it much more relaxed and smooth. She was so sweet and friendly. I felt like I had a friend photographing me because she was so fun and easy going. Within just a few days she posted a sneak peek of our photos which we fell in love with. We can't wait to see the rest. We know that we will love them. We look forward to framing these masterpieces!

Holly was truly nothing less than amazing. Her work truly speaks for itself .. she has a personality and a kindness that gets along with EVERYONE and she is so very professional. She doesnt come in and "take over "but she stops and asks you what YOU as a couple wants and blends that with her expertise which is something to appreciate.. she asks you if there are any special shots you would like for her to capture in particular and she makes it her responsibility to get them. Holly was very quick. she was everywhere and did NOT miss a shot and yet, very transparent.. she lets you enjoy your moment and when you look back at all of your photos, you think, "how did she capture that?!" She is extremely creative and always finds a way.. i have to admit, on the morning of my wedding, i was a late, unorganized, bundle of nerves lol. But Holly made a way. And calmed me down! It was almost like she was another encouraging, supportive bridesmaid in the room.. ugh what else can i say?! These are all my honest opinions. My honest review... I would book this woman a thousand times more.. so beyond worth it.. BOOK HER.. She knows what shes doing..

Holly and her team did an exceptional job to make our wedding day so special! Without hesitation, we can say that she absolutely went above and beyond our expectations with the level of professionalism to all the little personal touches she captured. A little back story to our wedding is that my husband and I decided to elope and include only 3 of our dearest friends. This decision was not easy especially to have our wedding day without our parents there but after seeing the beautiful photos that Holly captured, well......we have no regrets with our decision.

We were so impressed with Holly that our next trip to Napa, we will be scheduling some time with her for a family photo shoot! (Hopefully our parents can join us!)

A big thank you Holly for making our dreams come to life with the photos that you captured!

My husband and I got married on August 26th. The advice we got from our recently married friends, is that photography is very important to capture all of the memories of our special day. We spoke with several photographers that were within our budget and were disappointed with their portfolio and/or service. Then we met with Holly. We knew she was the photographer for us before our first meeting was over. Her photos are so beautiful and she was really easy to talk to about our wedding vision. She was very responsive in the months leading up to the wedding, even sending "checking in" emails and offering advice on the wedding schedule. The photos from our wedding are stunning, the only thing I may have done differently is spring for a second photographer. But Holly did an amazing job and we recommend that you chose her for your special occasion too!

Holly was great from the start. Our initial conversation went smoothly and she was eager to learn quality information about my fiancé and I. Leading up to the wedding Holly followed up with me regularly and even helped me with my time line so that our wedding went smoothly. On our wedding day Holly was punctual, social, professional, easy going, friendly, and the list could honestly go on forever. Our pictures are stunning! Holly made my wedding a dream come true form the beginning she was amazing and sweet! I can not say enough nice things about her. Not only was she swest and responsive her work is amazing too! She was super flexible the day of the wedding and ensured I was at ease she asked me multiple times if I needed anything or if she held with anything. Holly was beyond perfect! Words can't fully describe how happy I am to have worked with Holly for our wedding photos! She went above and beyond what I could have ever expected in a photographer. First off, she is such a kind and warm person and her passion for photography and for her couples is so evident from the first time you speak with her. On top of that, she is suuuuuper responsive and organized which really kept me at ease throughout the entire process. Holly is also extremely skilled in finding the perfect setting, lighting, angles, and poses to capture all of your special moments so beautifully. My husband and I were at first a bit nervous we were going to feel and look awkward, but Holly gave us direction when needed and seriously made it so fun. Both our engagement and wedding photos were delivered to us really quickly and were even more amazing than I could have imagined. I'm having the hardest time deciding which one to blow up and frame because there were so many great shots! Holly is seriously the best :)

Holly is a wedding photography genius. It was because of her that our wedding became one of the most memorable moments of our lives. She's was so creative. Holly plays a huge part of our wedding outside of taking photos. When we asked her to be our photographer for our wedding and told her the month of when we wanted to have the wedding, she told us she was booked every weekend of that month. :( then she said something that was like a seed and it grew and became the most beautiful situation we've ever seen. She suggested a weekday wedding... Then more and more ideas came and it all went side by side with what we wanted in our wedding. It was the best Friday night wedding I have ever seen. We're so thankful for Holly!!

Holly was very professional in everything she did. When we did engagement photos at night it just matched our theme for the Friday night wedding. This whole experience couldn't have went any better. Holly made our dreams come true. Capturing every moment of joy and excitement and love. The best of the best! we will most definitely be using Holly Again in our future. Thank you Holly for everything. You really really made our wedding special for us to remember for years to come

If you have particular preferences, be sure to let her know what your likes/dislikes are when it comes to the types of photos you want. She is very accommodating and will work with you so that you end up with your perfect photos.

Holly and Marquis (assistant) were great in EVERY aspect: from initial request and contact, through scheduling clarity, through flexible mobile set up and execution. I commissioned professional headshots to be done for professional use. I had three different outfits, with and without glasses, essentially two settings that lead to 5 very different types of backgrounds and shot variations. I can only imagine how organized, politely directive with open suggestions, and thorough she would be in a wedding! I would hire her for a wedding, for sure! I will likely also ask her to take some family pictures of us in our home at some point.

I appreciated that she came to me and had all the equipment with her. Wow! She was great at making suggestions, taking suggestions, and working magic!! She was fun, fast and clearly dedicated to her craft, but more importantly, dedicated to my satisfaction. I don't know how she did it, but I looked GREAT! :-)

I would love to write positive and negative criticism, but I have nothing negative to say! The photographer was the one vendor I was nervous about hiring, because your wedding photos are so important, but I'm so happy I stumbled upon Holly on the wedding wire website.
Holly was wonderful, she knows exactly what she's doing and takes directions and suggestions wonderfully. Great attitude and extremely responsive and flexible with changes. She had good quality equipment and wasn't afraid to get dirty or get in an uncomfortable spot to get a great shot.
Highly recommend.
Oh, and the photo's are wonderful, only problem I have is to choose from all the great photos.

There aren't enough words for me to express how happy I am with the photos and the experience working with Holly! She worked with our budget, kept in contact after booking, and sent us little gifts with cards as the wedding got closer. It made me feel like she was just as excited about our wedding as we were. The day of was smooth and she was so sweet and easy to work with. Everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera and I attribute that to Holly. And being a pregnant bride is tough as you are wanting to look your best and not like a marshmallow, she was very conscious of that and made sure to adjust my positions to either showcase the baby or cover her up. A million thank yous, and my house is covered with wedding photos because they were all amazing!

Holly was incredible. She was engaged, excited, helpful and super responsive from the moment we met her. She provided a lot of questions to help think about how the wedding would proceed and how she would be involved. I felt very at ease throughout the process which is a tough thing to do. At the end of the process, the pictures were incredible. We were seriously impressed with so many of the pictures. The only tricky part is trying to pick out the best ones! We actually bought an additional photo book since we enjoyed her work so much.

Holly did a shoot for my girlfriend, her family and myself. She also did some exclusive couples photos for us and some professional headshots all in one appointment! The pictures were all awesome! Everything looked better in the pictures she took. She had so many great ideas for different poses that I would have never thought of and when the photos were processed I could see why she chose them. Holly is so fun to work with and she really knows what she's doing. I'm not one to jump at the chance to be in a photo shoot but Holly made me enjoy being in the pictures. She is so professional, knowledgeable and has such an artistic eye for photographs. The best part about it is you can tell that she truly loves what she does and her passion for her work is highly contagious. Very talented photographer. This was my first time taking professional photos and i did not know what to expect. Holly handled the whole photo shoot with professionalism and creativity. She made us feel comfortable with her. We had a blast coming up with poses and just having fun. Holly D Photography has been my absolute favorite vendor ever! I flew out to her area a few days after the proposal to visit my family in July of this year. There, many friends and family supported her and her amazing work. It was just within those few days of visiting that I was confinced and excited that she was available to do a last minute engagement photo session with us. The pictures are gorgeous! Immediately after seeing the engagement pictures she was hired to capture our wedding day as well. Holly came out to take our wedding photos and I am still basking in how beautiful they turned out. Holly was a spectacular photographer for my wedding. Bottom Line - Our photos turned out AWESOME! No one can stop talking about them. She has a gift. She guided us through great poses and caught the special candid moments. She was also very helpful in helping us think about where to take photos and timing given that we had a winter wedding with an early sunset and chance of rain. I highly recommend her and will without a doubt be using her for all my future photography needs.
