Hollow hill was amazing through the whole process from beginning to the end. They made my wedding day less stress and everything.

We loved our wedding at Hollow Hill! The venue is stunning but most importantly Tyrel, Bob and Bob's parents, made sure that our special day looked exactly as we wanted. From change of plans to seating arrangements, they supported us along the way and were always available to help. We couldn't be happier to have chosen Hollow Hill as our wedding venue.

Absolutely Beautiful
I received so many compliments about how beautiful our wedding venue was. The space was well kept and provided ample space for our 100 guests. We did our ceremony outside on the Pecan Grove, had cocktail hour at the Old Town, ate dinner at the Great Room and danced the night away in the Barn. The owners, Jean and Bob, are such kind and wonderful people. They were extremely flexible with last minute changes and provided exceptional service during our tour. So proud to be a Hollow Hill Bride!

Beautiful property owned and built by wonderful people! Highly recommend Hollow Hill. The Lodge on property was the perfect rental spot with my closest friends the night before our wedding. They loved it so much they rented it out the night of as well! Many great places to take pictures and the choices you have for ceremony and reception are endless!

Best Venue Ever!
The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the owners are fantastic. If I had to do it over, I would choose this venue again. Great value, great people, and great views. Also, very flexible venue if you like to have a plan B in case of weather. I had my heart set on an outdoor ceremony, but it was looking like it was going to downpour the day of. They were so flexible and let us hold out until 2 hours before the ceremony to setup the chairs. Luckily the weather held off, but the flexibility of multiple ceremony options really saved a lot of stress on the wedding day.

From the personable experience from beginning to end with Bob and Jean was amazing! They let you see the facility several times, use past decor which took a lot off my plate. The day of was handled with ease with their staff and the venue was seem less all day! I would highly recommend Hollow hill for your happily ever after!!!

Hollow Hills made wedding planning so much easier and fun! They are very helpful and have lots of extra decor that have been donated to them. But to be honest, the venue itself is so beautiful that you need very little decor yourself. We also booked the lodge for the night before and the night of our wedding for family member who came from out of town The lodge is just as beautiful as the venue! I would definitely recommend this venue.

We absolutely loved everything about this venue! So easy to work with, loved the original look and feel to the whole location, and the staff were extremely complimentary and involved with us every step of the way. Hollow Hill was amazing! From the time we contacted them until after the wedding, their customer service was great. The venue was beautiful and had so many options for indoor and outdoor settings. Our wedding started in one building and worked its way across three other buildings too include outdoor settings and the price was the price. My wife was starstruck by this Venue, as it was a surprise Vow Renwal. Jean was the sweetest!

Completely Amazing!
The team at Hollow Hill was a dream to work with BOTH times LOL. Unfortunately, we were forced to reschedule our ceremony due to COVID but they held our hands throughout the entire process. The venue is gorgeous, and it is fabulous having the entire space for your event. We booked the honeymoon suite, the lodge and our ceremony was in the yard of the mission. GORGEOUS and extremely personal while being professional too!

Best Wedding Decision!
There are many beautiful venues in DFW, but choosing Hollow Hill was an easy and instant decision for numerous reasons. Touring venues can be a daunting process, with limited scheduling options and long drives for short visits. However, my husband booked our tour at Hollow Hill with ease online, the day prior to our visit. We met the owners, Jean and David, at their office and they drove us around the entire property on their golf cart. They are so passionate about their venue and it shows in all the amazing details they’ve added everywhere. We truly had a blast at the tour, and I wanted to share that experience with my family and friends.
Prior to our wedding, the owners were very accommodating to our additional tour requests, as our parents from out of town wanted to see our selection as well. With each visit, we were introduced to new features. This venue is always improving and gaining more character!
When I arrived the morning of our wedding, all the chairs and tables were setup and I was truly in awe of how beautiful the space looked without our additional décor. Hollow Hill has storage for guests to leave décor behind, as well as a list of their own unique inventory they allow you to use. We discussed table/chair layout and requested specific inventory to use at our wedding when we met with the owners the month prior and everything was setup as requested! As we decorated, Jean and David were available for assistance the entire time. Their storage area came in handy, as we forgot some needed items and were able to find substitutes that were left behind for previous weddings/events.
I could go on endlessly about the beauty of the venue and how cool the space is, but alas, this review would become too long. I encourage everyone considering Hollow Hill to schedule a tour; I promise you will leave happy and informed!
At the end of the night, the Hollow Hill team made it very easy for us to pack our stuff up with their assistance in gathering our items to a central area. My family stayed at their onsite lodge and my husband and I stayed in their honeymoon suite. Check these spaces out as well when you tour! They are just as impressive as the rest of the venue.
I highly recommend Hollow Hill and I can’t put into words how happy I am with my venue selection.

Hollow Hill is one of a kind
Hollow Hill is a one-of-a-kind venue. The site is beautiful with so many options and people who make you feel like family too. Jean, David, and Bob went above and beyond helping me get through my wedding, letting me come up multiple times to plan and borrow decor. The rehearsal and day of, went so smoothly because of their hard work. If you are looking for a venue that feels like family and is beautiful and professional, definitely check out Hollow Hill!

Fairy Tale Wedding
Hollow Hill has everything we wanted and more. Jean and her husband David, have created such a Fairy Tail venue, tucked away in Weatherford. The moment we met Jean and had our tour we fell in love with her the beautiful masterpiece they have created. I suggest anyone who is thinking about having an event / wedding here not to think twice. She works so flexible with us as we have never had planned a wedding we were able to come up there multiple times and decide on different things, she even has an attic in the barn where there are many leftover Treasures, decorations that we were able to use free of charge which saved us money and most importantly a lot of time. The bartender and clean up crew were included. All we had to worry about was cake, decorations we wanted to use, Reverend, music, Rings and catering. We had to decorate very little because her venue is already so beautifully decorated. She even had rental items available. My wedding guests were blown away with how beautiful the venue was. It was definitely the best day ever. Caitlin's catering with chef scott was suggested and he also blew everyone away with his delicious meal. Thanks Jean and David!! We will never forget our beautifully perfect day, we hope to have our 10 year anniversary with you guys in the future! GOD BLESS YALL!

Amazing Venue, Wonderful People
I booked Hollow Hill because the Old Town and Great Room were going to be great for my 50th birthday party and the Barn was exactly what I envisioned for our wedding. When I met with Bob at Hollow Hill to discuss my plans for a 50th birthday party turned surprise wedding he was very enthusiastic and supportive which made the planning process great.
I highly recommend Hollow Hill - beautiful place, flexible with multiple locations for pictures and events (The Mission, The Barn, Great Room, etc)
The value is incredible with linens and bartender included. The Hollow HIll team was amazing in switching the barn from wedding seating to reception dance hall!
I was sold when Bob had me stand outside the barn doors and he opened them as if I was the bride ready to walk down the aisle. The moment was even more spectacular on our wedding day.

My fairytale
I don’t think words can do this beautiful Venue justice, it’s simply the most unique place! I can’t imagine my wedding anywhere else.
Jean and David have poured their hearts and souls into this place and you can tell the moment you drive up. The stories of how it all came to be, from the barn, the little town and everything else on the property made me decide this was my choice. Only venue we toured because I instantly fell in love.
They always answer any questions we had and squashed any and all concerns we may of had! They give fantastic ideas and encouragement when you feel stressed from planning. They check in throughout the entire process and make you feel like family!
The price is so worth it, especially since there is payment plans! It also helped we booked about two years in advance. You get what you pay for and so much much more with Hollow Hill.
My favorite thing was when they came to see me right before the ceremony, their faces lit up and congratulated me again. It truly made mine and my husbands experience that much more sweeter because they actually care about each and every couple.
Thank you again, it was the best night of our lives and I’m so happy I got to spend it with you and your venue. Honestly the best in the business!

Awesome experience at Hollow Hill.
Just got married at Hollow Hill June 8, 2019 and could not be happier with the venue. The venue is gorgeous on its own and needs very little decoration. The owners are fabulous and so helpful. They went above and beyond to make my wedding a perfect and unforgettable experience. The guests all raved about how wonderful the venue was. I would recommend Hollow Hill to anyone planning a wedding!

Best Venue in DFW
We LOVED having our wedding at Hollow Hill! There is a ceremony location for everyone there. We wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and there were at least 3 locations to choose from plus one location with a pavilion over it just in case there was rain. The Great Hall area was perfect for dinner and is beautiful inside and the guests loved the Old Town area! It was perfect for pictures and cocktail hour. I was unsure about having the reception in a different location as the dinner but it was absolutely perfect. It allowed for a smooth transition and made clean up easier. On top of everything about the venue being perfect, Jean is also amazing! She is so sweet and kind and tries her best to help you with your needs.
Would highly recommend Hollow Hill!

Perfect Venue with Elite Service
I had my wedding at Hollow Hill on May 18, 2019 and it was a dream. Despite the monsoon that day the staff came up with a beautiful alternative and it was perfect. The staff has been super responsive since the onset of planning and was so helpful the day of. I absolutely loved working with them and wish I could get married again just so I could have it happen exactly the same way!

The people at Hollow Hill did everything they could to make my day special. They were kind, funny, and caring. The location is gorgeous, and the amount of space you get for the money is crazy! Our price is based on a Saturday during a holiday weekend during the peak wedding season (max price).

One the best days
My husband and I couldn't have picked a better place to have our wedding. This place is truly beautiful and was exactly what we wanted for our day. This was the only venue we toured and immediately decided to book our wedding here after the tour given by David. The owners are some of the nicest people I have met and you can tell how much they love to help couples plan their special days.

There really are no words to describe how amazing Jean & David at Hollow Hill are! I could not have asked for a more perfect venue and day! They were there for every need and question! Best place to have any event
They went above and beyond for me. The day of my wedding it was raining and cold. When the rain decided to stop they dried the walk way and still gave me, my WOW entrance that every bride dreams of. They made my wedding dreams come true.

Dreams come true at Hollow Hill
This is the perfect venue! Various areas to choose from to create your special day! We were even able to have our ceremony out in the field behind the lake under two extremely magical trees that grew together to form one canopy! We used the old town for cocktail hour, great room for dinner and the barn for a funky and fun danceparty. Each wish we had for the day came together. We were pleased beyond our expectations. The Hollow Hill team works together seamlessly to ensure that we are able to see our vision come to life. what sweet, open hearted, creative and excellent people with enchanting and unique grounds. And don't forget to book the lodge we had the best time staying close by!

Great Experience
I loved Hollow Hill the first time I went on a tour there. Everyone was so incredibly kind and willing to help. They have so many cool things that are usable during the ceremony and reception. It was great knowing that they set up the reception hall for us while we were busy! I definitely recommend checking them out!

Amazing venue! Couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding
Can I give this venue a million stars? I wish I could because they deserve it!
After visiting many venues, we instantly knew this was the one as soon as we stepped foot on the property and met with the amazing owners (Jean and David).
The venue itself is so beautiful and packed with unique details and touches throughout the property. Jean and David are also the sweetest people we've ever met and were always very accommodating. We visited the venue so many times prior to our wedding because we just wanted to see it over and over again and show our friends and family, each time we visited we were always greeted with smiles. Jean, David and Bob (their son) were extremely helpful through out our wedding planning and were always there to answer any questions we had.
I cannot reiterate how amazing our experience with Hollow Hill was. Every single member of their staff was extremely helpful and made our special day even better than we could have possibly imagined.

Great Customer Service
We toured the venue today and loved we what saw! The venue has so many photographic areas and areas to entertain guests. I absolutely love the bar area! Bob is so courteous and willing to help in any way possible. Great customer service makes this experience so worth it to us! Definitely recommend.

Everything we could have ever hoped for
We visited several venues before we went to Hollow Hill and, after meeting with the Gechters and seeing this amazing venue, we knew we didn’t have to look any further.
The detail and options offered as part of the venue are over and above anything I would have ever imagined or asked for. The Gechter’s and their staff are so caring and giving, as if they are part of the family, and collaborate on the wedding vision and plans as if the event is their own. They continue to add to and expand this truly unique, beautiful venue. And, they treat you as if this is the only event they are planning for.
Unlike most other venues, Hollow Hill has a turn key pricing policy. Other venues have a long list of add on charges that drive the price up significantly. What you see at Hollow Hill is entirely what you have access to.
Hollow Hill should be first on your list of venues to see and will probably be your last.
Thank you David, Jean, Bob, and Michelle! Brenna and Cody’s wedding was everything they hoped and dreamed for and you were a big part of making that happen.

To a guest, everyone said this venue was amazing. We looked at a bunch and this beautiful place stood out head and shoulders above the rest. Perfect Texas Wedding
With multiple ceremony and reception sites on property, this place was great! Our ceremony was inside the Spanish mission courtyard. Our cocktail hour was in Old Town. Finally, our reception was in the gorgeous barn.
The venue is beautiful enough that we didn't have much decorating to do. The owners and staff were great. I cant imagine anything I'd change about this place.
This was the first venue we looked at and none of the others could compare. I'm so glad we had our wedding at Hollow Hill!

We had our company picnic at Hollow Hill. The owners of Hollow Hill are wonderful to work with. They are all very nice and easy to work with. The venue is extraordinarily clean and updated which has to very difficult given the size of the venue. Great attention given to the décor and they just keep making it better.

The only reason their they didn't respond once was because my email went to junk email (it happens often with that email address) and even then, they found it and responded in only a couple of days! They were on top of everything all the way through the process and I book with them over a year ahead of time! All of their staff was amazing and so accommodating! I would tell everyone to get married here if I could!!!

Beautiful venue! Perfect for barn weddings, outdoor weddings or other large gatherings. Owner is super friendly and helpful throughout planning. Decorations not necessary due to the rustic Decor already in place. Several items included in the rental fees such as tables, chairs and linens.

My family celebrated our parents 60th Diamond Wedding Anniversary on April 8, 2018 at beautiful Hollow Hill Farm Event Center located in the rolling hills of North Eastern Parker County. Our family's experience was EXCEPTIONAL!!! The Gechter Family, owner and operators of the venue, attended to our every need! Bob Gechter drove and provided a double-seated golf cart which was invaluable in accommodating guests with mobility issues. The ONE-OF-A-KIND Rustic Venue , with its themed structures such as Old Town, Mission Style Chapel, Wedding Barn, and Great Hall offered so many opportunities to tour during the day. The reception was held in the Great Hall which accommodated our 210 guests beautifully! More importantly, the owners of the venue are present for the entire event answering questions and providing assistance. Compliments continue to flood in regarding this rustic venue with acres of landscaped grounds and gardens!!!

The staff and owners at Hollow Hill will go above and beyond to make your day special! My husband and I looked at 5-8 venues all within the same price range as Hollow Hill (Hollow hill has been my number one choice since I first heard about it a few years back) and every other place charged for any little extra thing, when we took our tour their exact words were “if it’s on the property, it’s apart of your rental”. They were so easy to get in contact with and very quick to respond. They let us come out as often as we needed to make sure we had any pictures or info we needed to make the day go smoothly. All in all they’re just great people running a great venue. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for us!

We had our company Christmas Party here and brought in a bunch of Casino Tables in the barn and it was a blast. The décor in the barn was so unique. Not at all like your typical barn. The barn is beautiful. The Great Room was so spacious and the tables and chairs were great as well. The Old Town is so awesome. You really think you have stepped back into the 1800's when you walk through each room such as the old school house, jail and barber shop. We loved the fact that there was a campfire outside because it was dark and cold so that was cozy. I loved the golf cart picking guests up as well. The lake and the old church was so amazing. The giant Christmas tree and giant Christmas balls that you had line the driveway as guests drove in was the perfect touch. I love the fact that this is a family business and Jean, Bob and David were the nicest people. I am already prepping my boss to have it there next year. I am so happy I found this place!!!

We had a fantastic experience with Hollow Hill! David, Jean and Bob were delightful to work with - kind, flexible and laid back. Their facilities are unique and beautiful. We were able to use the vendors of our choice, and they even recommended some vendors that turned out to be great. Our wedding was an absolute blast, and the staff/facilities at Hollow Hill were a huge part of making that happen!

Just book your wedding here ... perfect is not a good enough word to describe our wedding day. It was beautiful full of love and laughter and of course happily ever after!

My wife and I attended an Appreciation Dinner for the City of Azle at this venue last week. What an awesome place. The owners were very attentive to all of the guests. This is not just a building that looks nice. This is an experience. The owners have created "Old Town". You stroll down the 'street and look in the buildings filled with antiques. There area several areas that we were shown where a wedding or an event could take place rain or shine.
I hope the the City of Azle will choose this place again when we have another dinner! I highly recommend it.

We had a great time, the place is absolutely beautiful, the Gechters were very helpful and made sure that everything that we needed is ready for us. highly recommended.

Stop your venue search and go check this place out! The owners, Bob and Jean, are seriously the nicest people. We loved working with them. They are so laid back and flexible. Even before we booked with them they encouraged us to come out to the venue as many times as we wanted. Once we did book we were out there often and they always made sure to take the time to answer every question and to provide ideas when we needed them. The week before our wedding they willing walked around the venue with us for 3hours so help us visualize the day and how exactly It would be set up. I can not stress enough how amazing they were. To add the cherry on top, during our rehearsal we decided that we would like to brand a piece of wood during our ceremony. We knew they had wood available but we really wanted a piece in the shape of Texas. When we asked if that was possible Bob said he didn’t have the means to cut wood into the Texas shape. We were disappointed but understanding. Fast forward to our ceremony and you can only image how thrilled I was to see a Texas shape piece of wood there ready for us to brand. Bob went out of his way to make it happen! We were perfectly ok with not having it but he did it anyways! It was honestly one of my favorite things from our wedding and I will always remember that moment of surprise.
So whatever you’re doing. Even if you think you already found your venue. Go check Hollow Hill out. Talk with Jean and Bob. I promise they will treat you like family.

Best venue I could of ever dreamed of. Definitely my fairytale. So gorgeous it barely needs decorating. They have so many things of theirs they let you use. My friends and family wouldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was days after.
They include set up and tear down which is amazing.

We cannot say enough GREAT things about this venue. To say that the venue is perfect would be an understatement. It is one of the most prettiest venues we've seen, and to top it off the owners are beyond amazing. We arrived for the first time with the intentions of looking around and visiting other venues. After almost 3 hours and a tour of the entire property a contract was signed and we never looked back. If you're looking for an amazing venue with amazing people then you'd be a fool not to book here.

PERFECT WEDDING VENUE!!! They made our wedding dreams come true!!! Jean and Bob, the owners, were amazing and easy to work with. After taking a tour with my mom I called my fiancé and told him I needed to cancel all of the other venue tours because I found the place I had dreamed of. The pictures online are beautiful but it will never do the venue justice! We got married in the red barn, guests mingled during happy hour in the Old Town Area while we took photos, then we all headed to the dinner area while they flipped the red barn for the reception. The details Jean and Bob have put into the venue make it ONE OF A KIND, a texas shaped table, Old Town that's takes you back in time, even the men's bathroom guests were talking about and still are!! -Tiffany and Shaun Piepkorn

This vendor was great to work with. I can't imagine of having my wedding anywhere else. There were there to help me every step of the way. The team was on hand the day of the wedding and never left me not knowing. If I had a question or a problem they were they to take care of me. I can't thank them enough for making my day so special.

From the moment we stopped in for a tour I knew this was the place we would get married. This place is so beautiful and full of the most interesting and fun things that there was no shortage of compliments and picture taking. Our caterer said they had the best kitchen and set up he's seen and all of our guests had the best time there. Jean, David, Bob, and Michelle were so sweet and wonderful to work with and they definitely brought the "Wow" factor to our wedding!
