Chris was an amazing D.J. for our wedding this September. He was very responsive when it came to planning for the big day and went out of his way to meet with us multiple times, as well as respond to our emails, even while he was on a family vacation.
The experience was excellent from start to finish. Chris listened to all of our requests and understood the vibe we wanted for the night. He kept the energy going without ever being over the top, and the flow of the evening felt seamless because of his attention to detail. The dance floor was packed all night, with guests of every age having a blast.
Chris was professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. We felt completely confident that we were in good hands, and he delivered beyond our expectations.

Chris was a fantastic choice for our wedding! Throughout the whole planning process he was responsive and made our musical visions come to life. I especially liked that he preferred over the phone communication, I think this says everything about Chris wanting to work with his customers on a more personal level than just being their “DJ”! During the event he carried out every single request we had and kept the crowd going, you can tell he has great experience with weddings and enjoys what he does. So easy to work with!!
Chris was so easy to work with! He was always responsive and flexible. He was easy to talk to, and made us feel comfortable and treated us like dear friends during the entire process. The night went perfectly in regards to music, and the process and order of events. It truly felt like Chris was looking out for us and making sure the night was exactly what we wanted. He went out of his way to find us and the photographer for sunset photos outside and communicated with us from start of planning to the last minute of the evening. I cannot recommend him enough.

Dance the night away
We met with many DJs until we found the right one for us. We were looking for someone confident but not cocky, he had to have a positive attitude and be able to listen to our needs. Chris fit what we were looking for! He immediately made us feel comfortable when we were stressing out about our wedding planning. He created a custom mix for dad and I that surprised everyone! He made sure that my parents were present for every big moment (they disappeared to go to the bathroom) and worked well with the rest of the vendors. I I appreciate most his time management, and getting in all of the formalities so we could just dance for the rest of the night. All of our guests had a great time!

We trusted Chris with our reception music 1000% and he delivered! He made sure that our ceremony went off without a hitch and continually checked in on us to make sure that everything was okay. We danced the whole night and created so many wonderful memories in the process. He is the man to go to for an amazing party and an incredible night of dancing. Chris was the DJ at our wedding at Browns Revolution Hall. Chris was so easy to work with and such an easy going and fun guy. We felt like we had known him for years! He did an amazing job through all parts of the wedding. The ceremony to the dancing after dinner it was perfect. Chris made the process so seamless and created the perfect atmosphere for our night! People were on the dance floor all evening. We had a very specific idea for our entrances with special cuts we wanted to use and Chris totally understood our vision and executed it perfectly! He also had an incredible idea for the last song - he proposed something by a band he knew was meaningful to us and created a really special moment where all our guests were singing and dancing in a circle around us. From a planning standpoint, he provided us with a detailed template to help communicate all the names, songs, schedules/timing, etc., and met with us to review it in detail - it also included some resources that were invaluable to us when it came to putting together our must plays, do not plays, dinner playlist ideas, etc. On top of it all, he was extremely responsive to all our messages and questions.

Hollister entertainment was outstanding from start to finish. Very good with playing the songs we wanted to hear and also very prepared for the day as well. The dance floor STAYED PACKED ALL NIGHT! He was very knowledgeable and his experience shows. He also took some pictures for us and a short video which is something a DJ doesn't have to do. He used that to make a Congratulations post on social media which was a great personal touch for us. You won't be just another wedding with Hollister Entertainment, great overall experience!

Chris was incredible! Very professional and easy to work with. We had our first call and I felt excited to work with him. He definitely knows music and was able to provide recommendations based on our description of our guests. I did provide him a list of Must Play and Do Not Play and he followed the list very well while also adding in his flare. He had everyone on the dance floor all night long - I don't think I saw anyone sitting. My mom had so much fun that she did a split on the dancefloor! I originally had Shout on the do not play (idk why..) and I quickly decided I wanted to play Shout last minute, and he was flexible & added it to the list. He is overall such a kind, thoughtful, easy to work with person and his music and DJ skills were a huge hit!! He arrived promptly and actually played acoustic music for the first 30 mins before our ceremony as guests arrived. He covered our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and reception. It was lovely! I highly highly recommend him!

Chris was such a pleasure to work with and was so amazing and accommodating! He was happy to play Persian music for my husband’s family and really took an interest in getting to know us before our wedding. He’d never been to our venue, but no one would have ever known because he is such a natural. At the last minute, we asked if he was able to stay later to extend our party. Chris was absolutely amazing. 12/10!! He was professional, kept the energy up all night, and made sure all of the reception formalities flowed smoothly. He went above and beyond to make sure the sound and music for our outdoor wedding was perfect for both us and the guests. We told him our vision to turn an open field and our backyard into the ceremony and reception areas, and he made it happen with two setups. My wife and I got married at The Barn at Liberty Farms on July 2nd, 2022.
We are so happy we hired Chris Hollister (Hollister Entertainment) to take care of our wedding ceremony and reception!
From the moment we reached out to Chris nearly a year in advance, he responded right away with his availability. Chris laid out details about his pricing with different features he had to offer.
About 3 weeks in advance of our wedding, we had a meeting about the things we wanted to include in our wedding reception. Chris did a fantastic job making sure he would pronounce names correctly, and taking the time to make sure our needs and wants were met! He took the time to get a feel about what type of audience would be at our wedding (younger crowd, older crowd, mix, etc).
From the moment our reception started, people were dancing the ENTIRE time, which was over 4 hours! Our guests were reaching out to my newly wife and I the next day saying they thought our DJ did a fantastic job, and that they haven't had that much fun at a wedding in a long time! Chris got all of our guests singing and dancing to a bunch of variety of music we requested with a mixture of things he thought would flow well.
Chris is extremely professional and truly cares about making your wedding the best day of your life. We are so thrilled with the way our wedding went!

Kept the Party Going
We are so glad we chose Chris to DJ our wedding. He listened to what we wanted and even was able to do some last minute changes we asked for. It was so nice to just let him do his thing and not have to check in all the time so that we could enjoy every aspect of our wedding. Fantastic and highly recommended DJ
Chris did an amazing job. He helped us every step of the way to help coordinate the music for our ceremony and introductions at the reception. We picked out a few songs and artists we wanted to hear during the reception, but we left the rest up to Chris. And, he did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed all night, and our guests had an amazing time. Chris is a great DJ, and made our wedding a memorable night!

My husband and I got married at The lodge on Echo Lake in the Adirondacks back on 10/23/21 and my review is finally in after our long honeymoon !! Chris was amazing from first day we contacted him. He was easily our most attentive and accommodating vendor. He got to know us on a personal level a couple weeks before the wedding, and even though we had just met him, it felt like we had a good friend DJ-ing our wedding. He even helped our venue set up our ceremony outside when we made a last decision to move the wedding outside when the rain stopped, and accommodated some unique requests we had for our ceremony. We, along with our family and friends, had such an amazing time on the dance floor, thanks to Chris. The only downside is that it went by so fast because everybody was having so much fun!! We highly recommend booking Chris for your special day!

Chris was FANTASTIC! He, without question, stuck with us as we had to change our plans last year due to Covid. He provided beautiful music for our ceremony as well as created a playlist for the reception that kept the dance floor packed all night long! The reception spaced looked awesome with his up lighting and our guests loved the glow sticks that he provided! He even took several great photos of our guests dancing, as he knew we had limited time with our photographer. If you are looking to have a great party with a highly professional DJ, I strongly recommend Hollister Entertainment!!

Dancing the night away on our special day
DJ Chris Hollister was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was so wonderful and responsive to our emails and even was able to stay with us through two rescheduled dates due to COVID-19 shut downs. He was just as excited about our big day as we were and you could tell he was in his element as a DJ that night. Our guests did not leave the dance floor from the time dinner ended through the end of the reception. We even squeezed in one extra song, because everyone was having such a great time. Chris was wonderful about checking in with us about song requests from other guests (only when needed for more suggestive song requests), which was great! For my Father Daughter dance song, there was a song we wanted but there was one verse that we felt just didn't fit us as well as the rest of the song, so Chris was awesome and was able to edit the song to fit our needs. Chris talked with us via email and provided regular responses and suggestions when we asked. He also met with us in person about a month out from our wedding to get an even better feel for what we were looking for, as it had been some time since our first planning meeting, due to the pandemic and rescheduled dates. We felt so comfortable with Chris and truly are so glad that we booked him as the DJ for our wedding. THANK YOU, CHRIS!!!

Stop debating and book him!
We had Chris DJ our wedding in July 2021 and he was absolutely amazing. He met with us beforehand and actual tried to get to know my husband and I, not just our music preferences. He did a fantastic job with the playlists at the wedding and my guests were constantly telling me they loved the songs. He also made sure that he knew how to correctly pronounce the names of all members of the wedding party (because nothing is worse than somebody hearing the wrong name). Our dance floor was busy all night and we all had a ball. Thanks Chris!

What can I say about Chris Hollister? This guy is fantastic! We had another DJ booked and when things fell through, Chris saved the day. He is so professional, on the ball and a genuinely kind person. I’m grateful it worked out the way it did because I honestly couldn’t imagine it going any better. The best DJ who gets to know you as a couple and makes you feel important
Chris was an amazing DJ. We were planning during covid which was tough, but Chris made us feel less stressed out. He was always upbeat and told us we will make it work with whatever the rules are. He was very good at answering any questions. He has no hidden fees which was great and he is very upfront. Many DJ we spoke to wanted us to book right away when all we wanted was price quotes. Chris was different he gave us a quote and didn’t pressure us at all which we loved. The price he gave was the price we paid nothing added at the end like some DJ. We only took a day or two to think about it and we decided to go with Chris. We made the right choice. He gives you a very clear planning sheet which made the whole process easier. We had to change the date of one of our meetings and he was very easy going! You can tell he has a lot of passion for this. One thing he does to get everyone dancing is after the entrances he has you pick a upbeat song and has the wedding party dance to get people to come over. During the wedding we decided we wanted to do the shoe game, but thought it was to late. Chris made it happen he acted like we had it all planned. The guests loved the game . He reads the room and decides which music to play and takes requests! He checked up on us during the wedding and made sure we were happy. All the guests said he was very easy going and the music was great! He is very affordable! He also gets to know you as a couple which makes you feel more comfortable. He brought glow sticks which was a huge hit. We would recommend him! He is very popular and when we spoke with him he had many dates booked

Planning a wedding during COVID was less than ideal. However, in choosing Chris as our DJ we were able to have a fantastic night with lots of fun regardless. I cannot say enough good things about working with him. From the time of first contact to the night of our event, Chris was professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and most importantly, flexible. We were unable to have dancing but Chris worked with us to develop ideas to keep the night moving and entertaining and took on more of an MC role. He also worked with us to pick music that was fitting for the evening (not too dance-focused but not boring either). If this is what Chris was like for a wedding during a pandemic, I can only imagine what he is able to do for weddings during normal times!

Fantastic DJ!
Chris was an amazing DJ and kept the dance floor hopping all night long! So easy to work with throughout the whole planning process! He even surprised us with glow sticks which was a big hit with everyone! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!! We really had the best day ever!

Choose chris for dj
We can’t say enough great things about DJ Chris Hollister. Anything that we wanted, Chris made happen. A DJ plays a huge role in setting the vibe for wedding. His energy and love for what he does is shown every time he’s on the mic. Our dance floor is one of the biggest in the area, and it was completely filled for the dance set. Thank you Chris!

Better party than Dave Matthews Band next door!
Making the decision to go with Chris was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. From our first meeting with Chris he made us feel comfortable with how he would be a part of our day and left no doubts in our minds that he was the right man for the job. We had our wedding at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga on the opening night of Dave Matthews Band.. Despite the distraction of DMB, Chris was able to entertain our guests all evening and met our main request.. to keep everyone dancing! He fit seamlessly into the flow of the night and also did a great job MC’ing the evening. He even had a couple fun surprises towards the end of the night and ended our wedding with the great rendition of Frank Sinatra - New York, New York.
We are so thankful for a great wedding and Chris was a key element. Our guests have not stopped talking about how much fun they had!

Hollister entertainment was very easy to work with. Whatever we asked for Chris was happy to provide and he also provided his expertise when it came to song choices for our ceremony. Everyone had a great time and danced the night away!

Wedding DJ
Chris was the DJ at our wedding and he was amazing to work with. Chris is so personable and really took the time to get to know us before the wedding. He made sure everything ran on time and as it should. Chris even took pictures during the ceremony and reception that were priceless. Everyone had an amazing time and danced the entire night. Chris made sure to play all of our most important songs while also playing guests requests. We are so thankful he was able to DJ our day and we highly recommend him, he made our day extra special !

Amazing, cognizant of our music style and easy to work with!
Chris was great- given a change of schedule on our end we weren’t able to meet with him in person until the week of our wedding. Honestly being in the midst of busy wedding planning he was such a breeze to work with! He was flexible with our vision of music for the night and made our dance floor a crowded one full of non-stop good times until the night ended. We couldn’t give Chris a higher rating - he does great work!

Chris Hollister is the Man!
Chris was absolutely great DJ'ing at my daughters wedding reception. He was responsive to our requests and played a fantastic variety of music. The dance floor was packed the whole night. I heard from many friends and family about what a great party it was. Chris Hollister was responsible for that. You cannot go wrong hiring Chris for your event.

Ensured our wedding day music was perfect!
Chris was a great DJ! We asked a lot of him with a special song mash up for our first dance and custom entrances and singing and he did everything to ensure it was perfect. He was great to work with through the planning and day of. We would recommend him to anyone!

Fantastic Wedding DJ!
Chris was so great to work with. Aside from a few specific song selections, we gave Chris freedom to pick whichever songs he thought our guests would enjoy and want to dance to. He’s got so much experience, he really knows what songs and what kind of music will get people on the dance floor. Chris also did a great job picking a variety of musical styles and played songs that all generations enjoyed. Our guests all raved about how great our DJ was. Chris was also very flexible with last minute changes to our entrance and he worked well with all of our vendors at the reception to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. We’re so glad that we picked Chris as our DJ! If anyone is looking for a DJ that really knows how to get the party going, Chris is your guy!

A True Professional
Chris is extremely professional, responsive and very detail-oriented. He meets with you a handful of times to go over everything and provides an extensive Planning Form, which we found very useful when making our music selections and determining which of the “traditions” we would want as part of our reception. He kept everyone on the dance floor throughout the night and delivered everything that he promised. We received many compliments about our music.

Chris is the party master!
What a party master. Chris kept our ceremony flowing and the party jumping during the reception. Chris helped Dave execute a secret vow ceremony, he sang, during the ceremony and it came over great. Then moved to the reception. We had provided Chris with very little guidance just a few specific songs to play so it was open to him to read the room. His music selection and interactions with our guests throughout the night kept everyone up and dancing all night. Chris made our party something to truly remember.

Hands down the best dj ever!
Chris was our Dj for our December 30th wedding and he was AMAZING!!!! From the very beginning he was very responsive and made sure everything was perfect for our wedding day. Great evening

Chris brought out the dance in everyone!
Chris was the DJ at my sister’s and friend’s wedding, and I liked him so much I wanted him to do my wedding as well! I would recommend Chris for any wedding reception. He is easy to work with, very responsive, and really brings the party and dancing to the reception. During the first song he played people started heading to the dance floor! I was so glad he was available to be the DJ for our wedding.

Amazing attention to detail!
Chris was absolutely amazing! He was flexible with facetiming us since we were out of state, he played all the songs we requested, he checked in to make sure we had drinks for our toasts, and he paid attention to every detail all night. He checked name pronunciations, if there were other songs we wanted as the night wound down, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. When I needed people inside for the parent dances he went and got my brother to make the announcement on the back deck rather than interrupting the music. His attention to detail made everything run smoothly and flawlessly.

We hired this DJ for my fiance and I engagement party and it was an amazing time. Their music selection was great and they played everything that was requested. Awesome experience!
We hired Chris to DJ our wedding last month and he was just amazing! It’s so important to hire vendors who are talented but also professional and experienced. Chris is all three of these things. He was able to surprise my husband and I by getting even are most reserved guests out on the dance floor. Everyone had a wonderful time and we truly could not have asked for anything more. When it came to choosing a DJ or having a band play at our wedding, it was pretty easy for Dan and I. Our initial conversation was great and I immediately felt confident in our choice. Chris communicated with us in the months and days leading up to our ceremony. He was flexible, patient, and understanding even with some of the last minute things we changed. Chris catered to our guests and more importantly made sure that Dan and I had an amazing wedding day. Chris is an INCREDIBLE DJ and MC! We could not have asked for a kinder, more knowledgeable, experienced and FUN Dj. Chris is very personable and really knows how to get the crowd going. His music selection is “on point” and he can really read the crowd. Numerous people had assumed he was our friend because of how easy and seem less working with him was as well as
