Amazing wedding!

We had the most amazing day of our lives - largely in part due to the staff. Everyone present at the venue at some point, ie managers Matt, Christy and the staff were so kind, welcoming and accommodating. They were relaxed and made it easy for me to trust them with our big day! Even the ski lift men were over-the-top kind, patient and funny with our mostly non-skiing crew. We couldn't have asked for anyone better to be there for our day! It made me happy to have a wedding at place where we are sharing our money with kind people! Everyone raved about their meals with at least 20 people going out of their way to tell us it was the best wedding meal they ever had. All salad plates were removed and all 164 dinners were served timely (we sat at 6 and were dancing by 7:30)! The staff brought me a backup bottle of champagne upstairs about 30 seconds after asking for it - I was amazed by the speed! haha. Everything was packaged beautifully for us as well and the to-go meals were a beautiful touch at the end of the night. Everything went off without a glitch and it truly felt like a fairy tale!

The Perfect Day

Our wedding at Holiday Valley was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. The venue was stunning, the food was delicious, and every detail was handled with professionalism and care. The staff made us feel like the only wedding that mattered, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly so we could truly enjoy every moment.

Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the setting was, how incredible the champagne deck was, and how seamlessly the day flowed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more magical place to celebrate with our family and friends. We are so grateful to everyone at Holiday Valley for giving us the wedding of our dreams. We would recommend them without hesitation to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding venue. A HUGE shout out to Jolene for being so kind, flexible, and responsive to all of our requests!

June Wedding at Yodeler Lodge

Having our wedding at Holiday Valley was an absolute dream come true. Jolene and her team were nothing short of amazing. They were not only professional but also incredibly kind and helpful throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding. The venue itself was breathtaking. Guests couldn’t stop complimenting the beautiful decor, the perfect pace, and the delicious food. Everything was simply perfect. Awesome Venue and Atmosphere at a Great Value!

The atmosphere was perfect for our daughter's very special day. We loved the venue, both inside and out. All of our guests were able to take advantage of the beautiful views on a great summer night. We felt that the cost of the wedding was a well worth the experience. The quality of the food was tremendous as they served around 200 filets to perfection. We were very pleasantly surprised as that is not an easy task. Our contact Jolene guided us so well and the communication was perfect all the up to and throughout the ceremony. The staff was very friendly and fun. It wasn't stuffy like some venues. It was very loose and professional at the same time. I would highly recommend Holiday Valley for a wedding. We were very pleased.

Amazing experience at Yodeler Lodge Holiday Valley!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day at Holiday Valley! The setting was absolutely perfect. From the beautiful mountain views to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, every detail was picture-perfect. Jolene and her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and their professionalism and kindness made the planning process and day of so much easier. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the gorgeous venue, the delicious food, and how seamless everything felt. Holiday Valley Wedding Review

Jolene went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. Her exceptional coordination and organization ensured that our day went off without a hitch. She scheduled multiple planning meetings with us, patiently answered our countless emails and questions, and even gave us several tours of the venue so we could envision every detail ahead of time.

The entire Holiday Valley staff was equally outstanding—from the service staff and setup crew to the chair lift operators. Everyone was kind, professional, and attentive. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, and we’ve received so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful and seamless the day was.

We got married at Holiday Valley and had the best experience! Kristy was our wedding planner, and she was absolutely amazing. Yodeler Lodge Wedding

October wedding at yodeler lodge

We loved our fall wedding at Holiday Valley! We selected the Yodeler Lodge for our venue. We worked with Kristy who was so attentive to every detail, so easy to work with and flexible! We loved how seamless our day went. We elected not to use a wedding planner to save money and I am so happy we did. Holiday valley provided so much for us. Good food and a beautiful venue with tons of natural beauty. We also loved our shuttle driver who was so quick and attentive to all of our guests. 100% recommend holiday valley weddings!

Yodeler lodge wedding

We had our wedding at the Yodeler Lodge in September 2024. The venue was absolutely beautiful. Jolene was wonderful to work with. She got right back to us on any questions and walked us through everything. It was everything I could have ever imagined. The time of year was perfect! The leaves were starting to change. Everyone loved the food. It was delicious. As the bride and groom we each got a plate of food to take up with us. It truly was magical.

Best wedding venue ever!

We booked the Yodeler Lodge for our August 2024 wedding and could not have been happier. We had our ceremony and reception at the lodge and it was the most perfect day.
Holiday Valley went above and beyond. We worked Jolene and she was so helpful and just an absolute joy to work with. She answered all of our questions and never made any request seem like it was something they couldn’t do. She had wonderful recommendations and made sure everything was seamless for our big day. She truly brought everything we had in mind to life. The entire wedding planning process can be stressful but choosing Holiday Valley as our venue was the easiest decision. It was such a stress free experience. The entire staff on our wedding day was friendly, attentive and so helpful. Special thanks to Preston who made sure we had anything we might need the entire night.
Holiday Valley was able to help with accommodations for our guests and we loved seeing our family and friends get to enjoy all that the town of Ellicottville has to offer.
All of our guests noted how terrific the food was, how friendly every staff member was and just how breathtaking the venue truly is.
We can not thank Holiday Valley, Jolene and all of the staff that made our special day so perfect.

Greatest place to get married

Whether you want one night or a full weekend, Holiday Valley is the best place to get married. We were able to host our rehearsal and welcome party the night before at Edna's, the groomsmen could golf the morning of the wedding, and the wedding day and night itself were unbelievable. It was such a unique experience going up the chairlift for the ceremony, and everyone complimented how beautiful and personal it was. Everything was executed so thoroughly and nicely - from the ceremony at the top, to the reception at the lodge with drinks at the bar, apps, and then dinner. Everyone told us how amazing the food was. It can host a large number of guests without feeling crowded in the space. Kristy was also the GREATEST. She and her team were so responsive and helpful and truly made our dream day come true. We could not have done it without her.

The perfect venue

I cannot recommend holiday valley enough. With the terrific food, beautiful grounds, and so many close options for guests to stay, the venue checked every box. I truly needed very minimal for decor due to the stunning landscaping and lodges. The day of coordinator was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. Everything was so well organized and communication was excellent. The whole holiday valley team made my wedding flawless and stress free!

We LOVED Holiday Valley!

We booked Holiday Valley back in September 2021 for our October 2023 wedding. Jolene was amazing with laying out exactly what Holiday Valley had to offer and listened to what we wanted and explained how they could make it work. Jolene and Kristy were really flexible with us (me) when I was overwhelmed and didn't respond right away. They communicated with me through the whole process and truly made me feel so special. The day of our wedding, it was raining and cold, but Jolene had maintenance bring up heaters to Yodeler from the Main Lodge. They adapted with whatever punches rolled our way and really anticipated what would work best, and they were right! I didn't have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day and our guests LOVED the food. (Hint: Get the Mashed Potato bar, it's STILL a topic of conversation from our guests!). Book at Holiday Valley - it's beautiful, and the staff was absolutely amazing. Our servers and bartenders the night of the wedding were absolutely AMAZING and so fun to work with. We are so happy we booked with Holiday Valley. A wedding is a huge cost but it was so worth it.

We loved it!

We are SO happy that we chose to have our wedding at Holiday Valley. The entire experience with Holiday Valley was absolutely great from the very beginning.

When we first started the overall planning process for our wedding, we were incredibly overwhelmed with all of the details and decisions; many of which were things we had never even thought about or even knew to be thinking about. Kristy and Jolene helped us every step of the way.

We primarily worked with Kristy leading up to our wedding day, but Jolene was available to answer any questions or talk to us if Kristy happened to be off or otherwise unavailable on a given day. On the weekend of the wedding, both Kristy and Jolene worked with us - it truly felt like it was "all hands on deck" to ensure that everything that was as it should be on the day of. Everyone who interacted with Kristy and Jolene over the wedding weekend were so complimentary of both of them - we truly cannot say enough how great they were, both leading up to the wedding and throughout the weekend.

They were very flexible and attentive, and truly went out of their way to ensure that our wedding was exactly as we hoped it would be. For example, even after our final count was due, we had a couple of numbers change, and they were extremely accommodating and flexible allowing for those changes. In addition, at Kristy's recommendation, our 5th hour of open bar was on a consumption basis, so our final contract amount included an estimate for that hour. As Kristy predicted, drinking had really slowed down by that time, so the estimate turned out to be a bit high. A few days after the wedding, Holiday Valley actually refunded us a couple hundred dollars.

Our only complaint would be that the golf course/golfers made it incredibly difficult to get pictures. I have been in many weddings that have taken place on golf courses in the past, and all of those venues have made arrangements so that the wedding party could take advantage of the scenery and otherwise utilize portions of the golf course for pictures. At Holiday Valley, weddings/bridal parties are unable to utilize the golf course for pictures, and because the golf course surrounds the Holiday Valley Lodge, it made us virtually unable to take advantage of the scenery/landscape, which is one of the main draws to this location. In any event, we were not aware of this rule, so after our first look we started walking toward an empty portion of the golf course to get some pictures. The ranger was incredibly rude to us and our photographers and videographers, despite our apologies and explanation. We were definitely taken back by the rule and the way we were treated. Further, even when off the course itself, we often had to wait for golfers to move out of the way when taking pictures because they did not have any regard for the wedding and photos, and almost seemed intent on being in the photos themselves. Overall, navigating the property in light of the golfers/ golf course prohibition unfortunately ate away at some of our time and was definitely disappointing. We wish we had been aware of this earlier and definitely think it should be disclosed to couples at the outset, both to manage expectations and allow for proper planning for photo/video purposes.

Overall, we were thrilled with Holiday Valley and were so happy that we chose to have our wedding here. We would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing venue!

Amazing venue!! Kristy is the best and is so responsive. The entire experience was so easy and smooth. The one piece that was disappointing was the staff at the Tamarack. I had multiple people tell me that they were rude on the phone for booking and the day of the wedding that the front desk staff made them feel like they were a huge burden. As a bride, I also experienced the lack of hospitality by the front desk. Everything else, we could not have asked for a better experience

September wedding

The best venue!

I had a wonderful experience with Jolene at Holiday Valley. She responded to every single request and email (and there were a lot!) that I sent in a timely manner. We received so many compliments on the beauty of the venue especially the outdoor sundeck where we held cocktail hour and dancing. 10/10 recommend this team and location, close to the best parts of Ellicottville!

Outstanding venue, Location, and Team at Holiday Valley!

We searched everywhere for a venue that would best reflect my daughter and her finance as well as provide accommodations for all of our guests. As soon as we toured the Holiday Valley Lodge, we knew it would be a perfect location! From the time we met Kristy for the 1st tour - to the day after the wedding - she has been very responsive, and we were very comfortable trusting her to help us with our event! It was fabulous and all our guests had a wonderful wedding weekend in Ellicottvile!!

The Perfect Weekend

We did our whole wedding weekend at Holiday Valley: from the rehearsal dinner, to wedding day, to brunch the morning after, and we couldn’t have been happier. The Holiday Valley team was so helpful with every step, they really went above and beyond for us. The Resort is beautiful inside and outside and the staff there definitely takes pride in everything they do. Can’t recommend them more!

Best Day Ever - Super Easy with these Ladies!

Jolene and Kristy were both so so easy to work with, communicate via email or call leading up the the event, and then handled every tiny detail during the rehearsal and the wedding! Jolene literally kept me calm and focused when I was feeling stressed at the rehearsal. She was so kind and easy to relate to. Kristy made me feel at ease that everything would get done to my standards and she delivered. The venue was gorgeous and perfect, and she even printed out a bible passage we had forgotten to print in advance. I asked day-of if the children’s place settings could have sparking grape juice instead of champagne and they went a step further and put that with a maraschino cherry in it at all of our NA guests places. That was a really special touch for our friend and family. Jolene was also super helpful with facilitating the first look, she helped my dad place surprises at each guest’s place, and she kept me on track with timeline. When I was feeling overwhelmed, she was there to reassure me that it was all going to be perfect. Truly cannot recommend this venue and these 2 ladies enough.

Perfect Wedding Venue!!!

We got married at Holiday Valley July of 2022, and I have no regrets. The Holiday Valley team was so welcoming, and responsive, and went above and beyond to make our day special. My guests are still commenting about how great the food was. The views were incredible and the perfectly maintained landscaping added to the beauty of the space. Thank you again to Jolene who helped us though the entire process! She is amazing. The team at Holiday Valley really made us feel like they cared. From the tasting event, four leaf clover they found and laminated with a special note, boxed up extra meals for us to eat (since we were so busy on our day to even eat), to recognizing us in the café the next morning and just waving hello! It was a perfect venue and I would recommend it to anyone planning their future wedding/event!

Perfect Performance

The venue, the food, and the staff made the my day everything I dreamed of. Jolene and Kristy made every step of planning and the day of easy. 10/10 would recommend, as a whole the value and experience was above and beyond my expectations. (I worked in the wedding banquet industry and was thoroughly impressed.) If you are looking for an easy and stress free venue to work with on your special day Holiday Valley is it!

Where do I even begin?! Katelyn and Jolene were incredible. Every question was answered, every day of wedding issue was solved, and everything turned out amazingly. Yodeler Lodge was very easy to work with and everything turned out beautifully. From breathtaking fall views, to an amazing shuttle driver who even held an umbrella for me during my first look, to the DELICIOUS food that was cooked to perfection… I wouldn’t change a thing. I would do it all over again.

Best day of my life

Jolene and her dream brought our dreams to life.
Holiday Valley was a beautiful perfect venue with incredible food. My guests have been raving about that mashed potato bar weeks after our wedding.
They took everything I dreamt of and made it come true. Jolene and Kristy are very responsive and answered every question that I had.
Would recommend this place and Jolene to anyone!

Superior Customer Service!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Katelyn and Holiday Valley Resort. From day 1 last year Katelyn has been responsive, kind, sweet and genuine. This past year has been beyond stressful for everyone in the wedding community especially us couples but Katelyn went over and beyond for us and we couldn’t be more thankful having her on our side! Our dream was to get married in Ellicottville at Holiday Valley and Katelyn helped to make it happen! We would recommend Holiday Valley over and over again! Thank you for such an amazing day!

Beautiful Fall Wedding

Although we had a pandemic on our hands, Katelyn Tekavec bent over backwards for us to make our day so special. Being an out of town bride was difficult in itself, but Katelyn continued to make herself available for my husband and I, even if we had a video call here and there. We cannot wait to have our celebration next year with all the rest of our family and friends so they can experience all that Holiday Valley has to offer.

Holiday valley is my fav

Holiday valley/Katelyn were wonderful to work with! Helpful, informative and really guiding the day for a smooth/less stressful day. Katelyn is on top of everything and made our day wonderful. We had such a great time at our wedding and it will make it that much sweeter as we return over the years to ski.

Perfect Fall Wedding!

Katelyn was so great to work with throughout the planning process! She was very responsive to all of our questions, big or small. We had both our ceremony and reception at Holiday Valley and everything moved along seamlessly. We also had the chairlift open for cocktail hour, which was a big hit with guests! We had an absolutely perfect fall day and the view at the top of the hill was stunning! The reception staff was very professional and attentive. One nice touch was that Holiday Valley provides a head waitress that is solely dedicated to the wedding party. Our head waitress was amazing! She had drinks ready for us immediately following the ceremony and made sure we had everything we needed all night! Another nice touch - since its hard to enjoy your meal while trying to say hello and thank all of your guests, Holiday Valley gives both the bride and groom an extra meal to take home to enjoy later. My only complaint about the venue was with reserving room blocks. It was a semi-destination wedding (one hour drive) for us, so many guests were staying the night. We were told we could only block 10 rooms at a time which we did over a year in advance. By the time we sent out invitations (5 months prior to wedding), all of the remaining rooms were booked so we had to look into blocking rooms at a different hotel in town. It would have been nice to get a notice that rooms were filling up so quickly given it was so far in advance. Other than the hotel situation, I cannot say enough good things about having our wedding at Holiday Valley! We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and morning after breakfast all at the venue and it went off without a hitch! Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic Experience

Highly recommend the staff & venue of Holiday Valley for anyone who is considering them. We had a late fall wedding & everything was absolutely beautiful. The staff were attentive and the food was absolutely incredible, the price was about the average which was a great deal with everything that was included and the high quality venue and food.

Amazing from start to finish!

Katelyn was amazing from the very first time we sat down with her. She went above & beyond in every way to make our day special. She is so detailed and organized, making the process easy for the us. The staff was amazing, Sandy & Libby are the best and every server, staff member truly cared about our experience, and making it such a special day. Holiday Valley includes many items in their packages so it truly is a great value. I grew up skiing there so the place holds a special place in my heart, and even more after everyone made this the best day of my husband & I’s life.

Best Local Destination Wedding Resort!

Our wedding at Holiday Valley was absolutely amazing! I’ve stayed at the resort during ski season and it’s one of my favorite places of all time! In summer it’s absolutely beautiful! Yodeler Lodge was perfect for a rustic wedding. Jolene was our wedding planner and she did a fantastic job helping us organize the event. She helped me every step of the way. Thr checklist of what do plan each month to prepare for the wedding made my planning stress free!

The food was prepared perfectly and all our guests were satisfied! All of the bartenders and waitstaff were extremely friendly and did a wonderful job! The chef is extremely accommodating and will prepare special meals for guests with allergies and certain dietary restrictions. All the food options served during cocktail hour were excellent. The beef on weck sliders were like full sized sandwiches! The bacon wrapped scallops are a must! Our meals came out perfect and nobody was left hungry. My husband and I also had a nacho bar for the guests as a late night snack. Many guests complemented our food selections!

The ceremony site was beautiful and Holiday Valley has many scenic options for gorgeous wedding photos. The Champane Sundeck is perfect for an outdoor wedding ceremony.

Holiday Valley was perfect for wanting to have a destination type wedding but not having to travel far. As natives of WNY it was great for us having many family members out of town but also having family from WNY. The hotel options are amazing! The Inn has an amazing indoor outdoor pool and hot tub which was perfect to relax in the night before the wedding! There are also many fun things for guests to do at the resort as well as in the town of Ellicottville!

Overall our wedding experience was memorable and we will always return to Holiday Valley to reminisce for years to come!

100% Recommend for a stress free wedding day

When it came to choosing my wedding venue I knew I wanted a location that was experienced with a full catering package, etc. Also, somewhere with indoor and outdoor ceremony options so that I wouldn't have to worry about the weather.

Yodeler Lodge was the perfect location with the beautiful Champagne Sundeck and lodge for the reception. Katelyn was our Wedding Coordinator and completely exceeded my expectations. I have friends who were getting married at the same time and they struggled to find a reliable person to help with their day that knew the ins & outs of the location of their wedding. I barely had to think of anything in regards to the order of events or vendor coordination because of how meticulous Katelyn was with every detail. She answered all of my questions quickly and went above and beyond to help me with extra details for the day. The food was great and they have wonderful relationships with other DJ, florist, bakery and photography vendors that further helped me narrow down my list for the day.
Also, Ellicottville is a wonderful town to have a wedding!

If you are looking for a full-service wedding venue that will help make your planning easier this is absolutely the place to book... not mention the location is stunning!

Unbelievable hilltop ceremony

As an avid outdoor-loving couple that loves to ski and snowboard, we wanted to celebrate our wedding day at the place we both love so much: Holiday Valley in Ellicottville. The resort does so many things well in the winter, but an oft-overlooked aspect is how dynamite the place is as a wedding venue. From front to back, we couldn't have been happier. Our on-site coordinator, Jolene, led us through the entire process -- from booking, to planning, to day of -- and did it in such a way where we felt completely comfortable the whole time. When we began telling our friends (especially those coming from out of town) that we'd be getting married at a ski resort, we don't think they realized that they would actually be riding the chairlift to the top of the hill. And after it was all said and done, they were completely blown away. Holiday Valley's coordination between mountain operations (chairlift operations, setup at the top of the hill, etc.) and food & beverage (having champagne prepared for our guests as soon as they got off the lift) was seamless; the entire operation moved with such grace that there was no possibility of something going wrong from their end. When we told Jolene that the groom's 94-year-old grandmother would be attending, she instantly offered someone to have her driven up in a Ranger (in case she didn't want to ride the chairlift. She did, but the offer still stood.) When we finished up at the top of the hill, we celebrated the reception at Yodeler Lodge, one of three beautiful places to get married at the resort. The wedding party's designated server, Libby, was the absolute sweetest and took outstanding care of us throughout introductions, dinner and afterwards. Holiday Valley offered a myriad of different food options that we tasted beforehand at their tasting event. We're always so impressed when a venue can serve that amount of food in such a short time, and we were blown away by our dinners. The food was excellent. Our bartenders were friendly, engaging and kept the drinks flowing for all of our guests. All in all, Holiday Valley solidified its reputation as one of the best wedding venues in Western New York, and we're so thrilled we chose it for our wedding day.

wedding/reception/day after brunch

As the father the bride, it is a genuine pleasure for me to offer a sterling recommendation for the Holiday Valley wedding/event team. Headed by the organizer Jolene, the entire staff could not have done a better job. Our daughter and her groom wanted to hold the ceremony at the top of the mountain, and with weather cooperating, everything that day was executed flawlessly and with friendly efficiency by all. The ski lift crew, servers, bartenders, shuttle drivers, reception manager and all other support staff all deserve our highest praise and gratitude for making the entire event all that it was. The Yodler Lodge was impeccably decorated and set, the food was excellently prepared and served warm to each attendee, all service very professional. There were absolutely no hitches or problems all day. As "locals" we've come to expect a very high level of quality and service from Holiday Valley for events such as this, but their execution of our daughter's wedding and reception far exceeded even our loftiest expectations. Very, very well done by all.

The perfect venue!

Having my wedding reception at Holiday Valley Yodeler Lodge was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I do not have a single complaint about the service and accommodations throughout the entire night. Jolene was amazing, I could write a book filled with all the compliments and praise I have for her. She helped us along every step of the way, and her level of caring and attention was higher than I could've ever expected. The food was incredible, and the filet mignon in particular was exceptional. I highly recommend Holiday Valley as a venue, I promise you will not be disappointed! Thank you, Jolene and the rest of the Holiday Valley staff, for making our day absolutely perfect!

Just Incredible

I honestly can’t say enough about how amazing Holiday Valley was for our rehearsal and wedding venue. All of the staff are so friendly and nice and willing to help you out in any way to make your wedding weekend perfect. Also, the ground are kept so well - beautiful green grass and colorful flowers everywhere you look. We specifically would like to thank our wedding coordinator, Katelyn, our personal server, Libbi, and one of the managers, Franco, who helped us arrange a last minute transportation service. I highly recommend HV. You will not be disappointed!

Surreal, perfect wedding

Incredible!! Staff was phenomenal, every detail perfect and our wedding was even better then I could have imagined. Amazing wedding

Holiday Valley made our Wedding a dream come true!!! Jolene was our main wedding planner and was almost always available to answer any questions we had. If she wasn't available Katelyn would step right in! Right from the start we know this would be the perfect location! Yodeler Lodge was perfect. It was secluded and romantic. A beautiful venue!!! The coordinated they day without a hitch. Libby was a terrific head waitress just for the wedding party. All the teams worked together to make the day flawless and the food was phenomenal! Our wedding was May 11th, 2019 and it was truly the best day of our lives!

Incredible Venue

We just got married at Holiday Valley in the Yodeler Lodge. Everything from making arrangements to choosing table cloth colors was made simple and easy. The Holiday Valley staff was professional, kind, efficient, and amazing. The food was the best meal I’ve ever had and all the guests couldn’t stop commenting on how they loved it too. We worked with Katelyn and she made everything so easy and organized. No request was ignored or overlooked. Absolutely loved this venue and I do not have a single complaint!

Phenomenal venue!

I can’t even describe how happy my husband and I were with having our wedding at Holiday Valley. The day was PERFECT! We did not notice a single thing to go wrong thanks to both Jolene and Kaitlyn who are the coordinators. We worked mostly with Jolene and she was seriously my saving grace. She had such great ideas, kept in touch often, answered my never ending questions, and was always extremely pleasant and professional. We choose Holiday Valley Lodge and it was beyond beautiful. I would choose this venue over and over again. I highly recommend!!

A Great Time!

Our wedding was on Friday, October 26, 2018. The venue was absolutely perfect! We are from the area originally but moved 4 years ago.
We planned our wedding from 2,000 miles away and it was so easy. Katelyn, the wedding coordinator was super helpful with timelines and all of my questions. Our wedding took place at Yodeler Lodge, with our ceremony outside under a pavilion and reception indoors. I have too many favorite parts to name one!

Holiday Valley was the perfect venue for our September wedding. Jolene was an amazing Event Coordinator and the entire staff was excellent! We were married at Yodeler Lodge and our guests raved about the patio, fire pit and gorgeous lodge. We received lots of compliments on the food. We were married by a friend of ours who had never performed a wedding before. Jolene was tremendously helpful at the rehearsal and the during the ceremony and reception keeping everything running smoothly. On top of having a great experience from planning to the big day - we found Holiday Valley to be a great value for the money.

We had a wonderful experience at Holiday Valley for our wedding on Sept 2! Beautiful venue, absolutely delicious catered food, and very attentive staff. Katelyn was amazing throughout the panning process and also went above and beyond the week before and the day of the wedding. She facilitated last minute changes to the menu due to peanut allergies and helped set up floral decor for the ceremony. Katelyn even added her own artistic touch by taking greenery left over from our ceremony chair decorations and adding it to other floral decor. We were extremely pleased and are grateful to the Holiday Valley staff for playing such a big role in making our day great! We highly recommend the venue and Katelyn as an event coordinator! :)

Choosing Holiday Valley's Yodeler Lodge was the best decision I made regarding my wedding (except for my groom). Working with Katelyn throughout the planning process was phenomenal. She is a gem, and knows her stuff. Her colleagues Jolene and Sandy (who was my day-of coordinator) were also phenomenal. I felt like I was in good hands every single step of the way. Their food was wonderful, and their baker options sublime (I went with Chrusciki and had the best cupcakes OF MY LIFE). People loved the woodsy atmosphere, and the fact that I could get married outside, then have a cocktail hour on the massive deck, and go inside to the reception was everything my husband and I hoped for. It was private, intimate, and just a blast. Ellicottville as a town is super cute, too, so it adds a lot for a destination wedding. My husband's family is from around there, but mine was all traveling in. I couldn't have asked for better hosts than Holiday Valley and its staff and I'm so, so grateful we had our wedding there.

My husband and I got married at Holiday Valley a few weekends ago and we are extremely happy that we chose to have our wedding there, we had such an amazing day! Our ceremony was held outside on the practice putting green behind the Tamarack and it was BEAUTIFUL -- such a lush green picturesque backdrop.
Our reception took place upstairs at the Holiday Valley Lodge which is truly a top notch site. Two beautiful stone fireplaces, amazing bar area, serene views off the back decks, modern & clean restrooms (with plenty of stalls! no bathroom lines for your guests), etc. etc. We chose to do a buffet style dinner and everything was delicious. The rustic mashed potatoes....YUM. Oh and I can't forget the appetizers! The pot stickers & BLT crostini were SO. GOOD. The head waitress that was assigned to us was such a sweetheart and super attentive! If I remember right her name was Anna. All of our bartenders were so friendly & efficient as well. So many of our guests went out of their way to tell us about how much they enjoyed our wedding, how gorgeous the venue is and how great the food/drinks and service was.
We had the privilege of working with Katelyn throughout the planning process and we cannot say enough good things about her. She was so responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and is truly one of the kindest people. Thanks to her, our entire day went smoothly and was completely stress-free.
I have so many more compliments to give but apparently there is a character limit on here! But seriously, HV is amazing and we can't thank them enough. You won't regret booking your wedding here!

Working with Jolene was absolutely wonderful! She made planning our wedding from out of town easy and flawless. She answered all of our questions (and we had a lot!) in a timely manner. She always made us feel at ease and made the planning process an enjoyable experience :)

I would highly recommend Jolene (and Holiday Valley) if you'd like a fabulous, stress-free, and special day!

Anyone that sees holiday valley knows what a beautiful venue it is. But our experience with the staff was better than we could have ever expected. They truly go above and beyond. Katelyn is WONDERFUL and was so helpful during the planning process. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives!!!

We really can't say enough about how wonderful our experience with Holiday Valley has been. Katelyn and her assistant were absolutely wonderful throughout the entire process. They were helpful, genuine and made you feel special every step of the way. Every staff member that we interacted with the weekend was outstanding (we really mean it - every single one was a joy - our girl Sandy, her entire wait staff at the receptions, cooks, bartenders at John Harvard's, all hotel staff ). Our gratitude is endless that Holiday Valley made our weekend such a magical experience.

Our wedding was a fairytale come true! Holiday Valley was everything we ever imagined and more. The team of people were amazing - from our wedding coordinators - Katelyn and Joelene to even the servers. Our daughter’s wedding was held at Holiday Valley under katelyn Mueller. We could not have ask for someone who was more professional, helpful and so accommodating. She was always involved to help us make the day the most special day we could have. From the first meeting with katelyn until the day of the wedding she was the reason everything happened so perfect. She was experienced in her suggestions and objective with her advise and nothing was left undone. The entire process was so easy with her and Jolene to help. She is an asset to the wonderful accommodations that are available at Holiday Valley and her beautiful personality is an added plus. We would definitely advise and suggest any event would be completely satisfied with the service provided by Katelyn and her staff.

We worked with Katelyn at Holiday Valley and she was the best. Everything was so simple with her and there was no request she could not help us with. We live in Colorado and were planning the wedding across the county and Katelyn made it so easy to do with her laid back attitude and willingness to work with any of my family members for planning. We are also very last minute and that never bothered Katelyn. The day of the wedding, she was so calm and helpful. She would round up that one person of the wedding party that was always missing and make sure everyone knew what was happening next. The whole day was perfect and we are VERY pleased.

We had the wedding of our dreams here. It was a beautiful venue at the main lodge. Katelyn and Sandy are top notch at what they do. So helpful, kind and made us feel so comfortable. I can't stop thinking and looking back at how perfect the day was. We were so lucky to have the best weather that day! I could not ask for anything more. They really catered to everything and looked out for us. We were able to request our favorite bartender from Yodeler Lodge who we see when we ski, and she made the BEST bloody marys for our guests. we could go on and on about everything we loved but that would take years! Just trust us.. choose Holiday Valley for your special day!

My daughter had her wedding at yodler lodge sept 23 2017. The guests are still talking about what a fun wedding it was . The weather was unbelievable..outside ceremony breathtaking..chairlifts were a highlight to the amazing view..Kaitlin our wedding planner couldn't have been more accommodating especially after a vendor was less than satisfactory... highly recommended holiday valley you will not be disappointed

We worked with Jolene at Holiday Valley to plan our wedding and had a wonderful experience! She worked with us to stay on budget and also had good suggestions along the way for ways to make the day special for our guests. When our florist left out a fairy wand for my flower girl, she tried to make one herself to help us avoid a potential meltdown of a 3 year old. Definitely went above and beyond! Our guests raved about the mashed potato martini bar we had as part of our menu. We also added on chairlift rides during our cocktail hour so that guests could have a different experience while at our wedding. The room block at Holiday Valley Inn and The Tamarack Club worked out perfectly for our guests. Connie was very prompt in getting me a rooming list when I asked and also was kind enough to give us a tour of all the various hotel room options to see what our guests could stay in. If you are looking for a great destination wedding at a resort that has something to offer everyone, definitely check Holiday Valley out!

Wow, is all I can say. From beginning to end, our experience at Holiday Valley was perfection. We worked with Katelyn, and she was always available to answer any of our questions - no matter how big/small or how far in advance we were asking, we always felt that we were a top priority. She helped us work through every possible detail and provided us with excellent recommendations when we were working through the flow of our day. In addition, she always followed up with confirmation of our discussions, just so that all of our information was in one organized place.
We had our wedding at the top of the ski hill, and the HV team went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable with proceeding (it had rained that morning). Our reception was at Yodeler Lodge, and boy, what a place. The views were spectacular, the staff was so accommodating, helpful and professional. There was a waitress assigned just to my husband and I throughout the even, which was amazing - otherwise I don't think I would have eaten or had a drink all night - a very, very nice touch and made us feel even more special.I cannot rave enough about how excellent the service was, how perfect the venue was or how amazing the overall experience was. I don't think anything could have gone any better - it was a smooth process all the way through. Even when we threw last minute changes at Katelyn, she made sure it was handled, double checked and verified. The food was great - everyone raved about it, and again, so thoughtful, they sent my husband and I home with a plate, as we didn't eat much more than appetizers all day (busy greeting guests).
It was pricey, but I tell you, it was worth every penny and a true experience for your guests.

Hello,
I wanted to mention that Katelyn did a awesome job with the wedding and helping me organize everything. She answered emails in a timely fashion. Amazing job ! We were happy with her service and will let others couples know what great experience we had at Holiday Valley. The only issue we had was with the waiting staff. They didn't know what was in the servering stations. I had to tell the one staff member to please find out what was in the Warner. She had to ask and get back to me. Also, seemed like some of the guest didn't realize of the other food stations. I was greatly disappointed in finding that out. I feel like there should have been table tents underneath the food if a staff member was busy dishing food out that a guest could see what the food was. So, in hindsight I feel like the staff wasn't educated on what they were dishing out. Otherwise, it was an amazing Wedding and something we will never forget!!

I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding/special event. The services were great! Katelyn was amazing! Never had any issues with communication ! The lodging I had the most trouble with but in the end they helped us out. Services were great, Sandy the head manager on floor the day of the wedding made sure I was always replenished with my favorite cocktail. I couldn't of asked for a better wedding and a better place to have it! Also, the food and my cake were AMAZING!!!!!

I had the best experience at Holiday Valley for my wedding. From start to finish the experience was nothing but a pleasure. Katelyn and her team are incredible. They were accommodating, went above and beyond and the day went off without a hitch. We had almost every guest come up to us and say it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We ran the chairlifts, had the outdoor fire pit and were overall just able to make the day really personal. The food was amazing and the wait staff was on point. Definitely recommend this venue to anyone in WNY!

Caitlin, Jolene and Sandy were all the most amazing! There was never a worry or doubt the day would not be flawless! We were looking to go away, but not too far away, for a fall "destination" wedding. A friend told us about Holiday Valley and we went to visit the resort and just absolutely fell in love with the cute town of Ellicottville, NY as well as Holiday Valley Resort. Katelynn was amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. They were very flexible with us and our requests. All of the vendors they recommended also were phenominal. It poured down rain and was freezing our entire weekend, but our guests had a blast and so did we. We loved the laid back atmosphere of Holiday Valley and their staff. Highly recommended if you want a no fuss wedding, the ability to make it your own, but know that you have a team that will make sure the day runs smoothly and the bottom line is to have fun. We also felt the price was very reasonable. We wanted to host a breakfast the day after for our guests and Katelynn gave us a recommended place in town - they were also amazing and it was the perfect location to host the breakfast. We loved every minute of our wedding weekend!

If I had a dollar for every question and random request that was asked of Katelyn and Holiday Valley, we would have a wedding paid for in full lol. Katelyn is the most punctual, polite, motivated, thoughtful, coordinated, driven and observant wedding coordinator you could possibly have. Period, end of subject. She was an absolute pleasure to work with over the past 1+ year of wedding planning. There was literally not one request that her and the Holiday staff could not satisfy. Special beer and drinks? Sure! Floor plan layout change? Great idea! Change of menu including specialty dips at your cocktail hour? Not a problem. Seriously, every detail and teeny tiny question or request was fulfilled without hesitation. She coordinated timing and setup with all of our vendors (mostly all were traveling from out of town) so we did not have to lift a finger or worry in the slightest on our wedding. Everything was on point and perfectly executed! Not to mention, Yodeler Lodge and the Champagne Sundeck were incredibly beautiful and made for gorgeous backdrops in our photographs. We cannot help but to get tears in our eyes thinking back to our special destination weekend. Ahhh, so aaaamazing! Some of our most favorite things about Holiday Valley/Yodeler/Champagne Sundeck include:

Full bar with any and all beers (seasonal & crafts)/liquors/mixers (literally everything you can think of) we had specialty drinks made with odd ingredients like lavender, ginger beer, and mint which they accommodated!
Gorgeous lit up slopes and firepits expand the party to the outside areas
Floor layout is up to you! Band is HIGHLY recommended (we booked Nik Lite) and put them in the center of the room!
Food- one million lbs of it and a mashed potato bar, enough said! Sorbet appetizer- beautiful and delicious!
Mr & Mrs breakfast with everything you could possibly want

We are so glad we chose Holiday Valley for our venue for our wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect. Katelyn and Jolene answered all of our questions (sometimes multiple questions a day!) in a timely manner and did everything they could to make sure everything was just the way we wanted. Katelyn was amazing for the rehearsal and day of and we didn't even have to think about coordinating anything. The food, servers and bartenders were all amazing as well! We wouldn't have changed a thing!

The wedding planners are awesome to work with and will put your mind at ease. The hotels are so close to the venue site, it makes your guests travel time less. I really enjoyed working with everyone!

Katelyn had the unenviable task of jumping into our wedding half way through the process, after Holiday Valley's previous planner was no longer available. Katelyn put us at ease and coordinated the wedding of our dreams. She was there for us whenever we needed her, and was a total star on the day.
