  Fantastic Venue

  I am beyond happy with this venue. They have the best people working to help conduct and emails will be responded to at lightening speed! There are about a million details to work out with a wedding and they are so on it! I had both my ceremony and reception there so they even did a room switch! They are also quite flexible as well. A lot of our guests didn’t know about this venue and loved it when they arrived! Thank you Kyle and Taylor for helping my big day be a phenomenal one!

  The Holiday Inn was AMAZING! Christie was amazing to work with and I enjoyed all of her suggestions to make our day perfect. The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating to our guests and wedding party. It was the best day of my life and I'm not sure anything could have been better. Venue and hotel are beautiful and our wedding of 230 fit very comfortably in the classy reception area. Holiday Inn is top notch and I'm so glad I decided to have our ceremony and reception there.

  We were recently married and chose the Holiday Inn-East Peoria, IL and Johnny's Italian Steakhouse for the festivities. Christie Sickinger helped us plan and execute the PERFECT small intimate wedding, everything we had hoped for AND MORE!!! Between the outdoor venue for the ceremony, the beautiful dining room, the waitstaff was awesome, menu choices and personalized Menu's including our 'signature' sangria....we could not have been happier with the help Christie provided......all on a short notice of 2 months. I cannot say enough good things about our special day, and Christie.

  Working with Christie and the Holiday Inn in East Peoria was great! We initially booked our wedding with another venue but after the building closed down, we had to find a new venue fast! I think it was a blessing in disguise because the hotel and Christie were so accommodating and flexible. My husband and I were very lucky to work with them! I highly recommend!

  Amanda is amazing to work with! She was helpful and gave tips before we had even officially decided to use the Holiday Inn & Suites. The hotel is beautiful and you get a lot of space for the money you pay.

  Amanda Douglass was amazing to work with from the second we reserved the space and hotel rooms for our reception. She was extremely responsive to every email I sent throughout our 18 month engagement and always willing to help or get the answers to my questions. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, she helped walk me through every detail and worked with our other vendors to make sure everything was coordinated. Amanda helped take my vision of a reception space and make it a reality and the space was absolutely perfect. I can't say enough good things about Amanda and the team at the Holiday Inn. I'd recommend them to anyone!

  I cannot say enough about how wonderful Amanda was to work with! She answered all my questions right away and went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we wanted to make our day perfect!

  The best wedding reception venue by far! Amanda Douglass, their events coordinator, is amazing. She is so quick to get back with you about details and coordinating the vendors. It rained 6+ inches the day of our wedding and made the choice to move the ceremony from our outdoor venue to the ballroom. Amanda, the staff and the managers quickly got everything set up perfectly. The hotel is beautiful, modern and the staff is above and beyond. So friendly and makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. Great place if you have out of town guests because they can all stay right there and enjoy an amazing brunch in the morning:) very reasonably priced and the cocktail hour, food and drinks were amazing from Johnny's Italian steakhouse:)

  Everything was run perfectly! Christie is amazing to work with! The only issue we had was that the room got a little too warm so people migrated outside. It wasn't a big issue, but in the future I recommend keeping the room cooler so more people stay in the room and dance. The reception went off without a hiccup thanks to Christie fixing issues before they became issues. We did pay for a good amount of food and drink that was not consumed by our guests, but that was due to the food minimum and our guest list kept shrinking.

  All staff is very friendly and helpful. Christie the wedding coordinator at the Holiday Inn and Suites East Peoria was the best! She was not our original coordinator we had when we booked the hotel which was a little nerve wracking, but she made the transition very easy and we absolutely loved her. She was very accommodating with any request we had. Always answered questions promptly and overall made the whole experience stress free. The venue is absolutely beautiful. I don't know how many comments we heard from our guests about how nice the hotel was. For us to have both ceremony and reception at the hotel worked best. The transition between the two was seamless; had no complaints from guests about the wait in between.

  The majority of our guests came from out-of-town, so it was important to us to offer great accommodations. The East Peoria Holiday Inn is beautiful, clean, and conveniently located. Ricky, the group rooms coordinator, was extremely helpful in accommodating our guests’ needs.
  We also contracted with the catering services through Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse to provide breakfast for our guests the morning after the ceremony. We were disappointed that although we were told the buffet would be open at 8:00 a.m., our guests were kept waiting until 8:45 as the catering team was still setting up. A few of our guests also got confused and ended up paying for breakfast at the restaurant.

  This venue was fantastic for a flip (ceremony & reception)! It is a beautifully maintained hotel and our Coordinator was absolutely outstanding and made our wedding dream day all come together without a hitch. We packed the place full, almost up to the 250 person fire code & still had a fantastic time! The food catered from Johnny's Itialian Steakhouse was disappointing from what we had at our tasting. I would recommend having the kitchen cut the cake all at once. We had a 5 tier cake & 2 sheet cakes, the 2 flavored sheet cakes were cut too big, and we ran out of cake. The kitchen was instructed to cut our top tier (not save it) but the kept it in the fridge, as we found out the next morning. The presidential suite was amazing & all of our guests that booked rooms were thoroughly impressed.   Our review is mostly positive but there are a few things to be aware of. Food was good, staff let us decorate the room a day early and was very accommodating. Taylor was helpful. Items to note if you have your reception here. We agreed on a drink menu of singles, wine, domestic and imported beers and soft drinks. Our bar bill included several drinks that were doubles billed at $12.50 per drink which is 50% higher than the price for doubles on their menu and was excluded from our contract anyways. They were quick to resolve it once we pointed it out to them but we should not have had to point it out. It felt like they were trying to jack up the bar bill. Also, make sure you ask for a knife and cake plate ahead of time. They set up the cake table in the center of the dance floor and when the time came to cut the cake there was no knife. Someone eventually brought them a butter knife and they never got a plate. The bride & groom were great sports and made the best of it but there was a bit of a lack of attention to detail.
