  Amazing Wedding Caterer!!!

  The Hoffman House was amazing!! They catered our wedding last month & we couldn’t have been happier with their service. With our wedding changes due to COVID, we only booked Hoffman House 3.5 weeks before our wedding… in that short amount of time they were so helpful during the planning process! Julie was so responsive and patient with all of our menu choices & changes. The menu was so hard to pick from as they have such fun & yummy choices. The day of, LaVita and the Hoffman team were wonderful & friendly. LaVita was more than just the onsite supervisor, she was constantly making sure my husband & I were okay & taken care of. She was so sweet & we loved her! The whole team made our guests feel very safe (due to COVID) with the food during dinner. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the food was soooo delicious!!! Everything was perfectly cooked & served hot. We received so many compliments from our guests on appetizers, dinner, the dessert table & our late night snacks. We highly recommend them :)

  Best Wedding Reception!

  I had my wedding reception here and everything was beyond perfect! The staff, food and room set up was beyond perfect!
  From the first inquiry call to the day of the wedding, Hoffman House was so accommodating and attentive. I had no worries and no stress. Legendary service from ALL of the staff. Ashley in the office was always prompt with responses and always kept me in the know of next steps. The Banquet Supervisor – another Ashley, was so attentive with what my guests would want. The dining staff were always assertive and hands on. I honestly can’t think of a time where I asked of anything, because they knew what my guests and I wanted/needed.
  Our food was HEAVENLY! The meats were cooked to perfection – full of flavor and juicy. Vegetables were crisp and fresh. I could have eaten every side dish, salad and meat, as their own individual meal because each thing was my favorite thing.
  We decided to have an open bar at our reception. As you would expect, a line would form. But the moment it looked as if it had 5 people or more, Ashley jumped in to help the bartender. The line was never long, and everyone was VERY HAPPY! Super-fast service!
  We had an amazing experience here. I know that if I have another event, this would be my first choice. We had the best time, best experience, all thanks to Hoffman House.

  Amazing highly recommend

  It was at a reasonable and affordable price and they work with you. They made it the best time of my life and the food was phenomenal. The staff was the best that any bride could ever ask for. My favorite staff members were I think her name was Quita. I’m not sure I was drunk(amazing drinks may I add). She was amazing, she had the blonde dreads I know that for sure lol . I loved her just the best and Michael was amazing too!!!!

  Diamond in the Rough

  Hoffman House is an excellent venue for both your wedding and reception. The food is excellent (which is not always the case for banquet food) and the atmosphere/service is top notch.

  Amazing vendor from beginning to end

  I'm not sure that I will be able to articulately describe what a great vendor Hoffman House was! From the moment we reached out to them, to the original tour, to the tasting that included our parents, to the rescheduling 3 different times to COVID, to the actual catering of our wedding night, we could not have made a better decision! Julie was amazing to work with from the very beginning. She is very personable and wants to make sure that everything is perfect for your special day! Even when COVID first broke out and everything in IL was still so unsure, she would reach out and let us know HH was there for us and would work with us in any manner possible. Their onsite venue is beautiful and we loved the new chandeliers and chairs they got! Unfortunately due to COVID we had to change the venue and amount of people, but Julie and team were eager to meet any needs we had to still make sure our day went without a hitch. The onsite team arrived in time, were VERY professional the entire time, helped with things that we didn't even ask (helped move chairs from one location to another, helped bring the desserts to the reception tent from the house, and helped hide my husband and I right before the grand march!). Livetta, the onsite supervisor, was amazing to work with! Or should I say not work with! She knew from the very beginning to find our parents and ask them any questions, she told my mom that the brides already have enough to deal with on their special day and shouldn't be bogged down with any catering questions! How amazing is that!? Literally the entire team was a joy to work with and was more then we could have ever hoped for for our special day. We can't wait to continue supporting Hoffman House for our new date nights! Thank you so much Hoffman House!

  Mother of Groom

  This was only my 2nd experience ever using a caterer and we could not have been more pleased. The attention to detail, constant guidance months beforehand to the incredible service the day of our event was unparalleled! Staff was incredibly professional! Our head server walked in and took charge of every fine detail! She kept the event in track and thought if things that fell through the cracks. The food from appetizers through meal was beyond delicious! Perfectly cooked - served 165 hot meals quickly and efficiently and had enough for seconds. We will only be using Hoffman House for any future needs!! HIGHLY recommend!!!

  Absolutely wonderful!! I always told my mom that if I ever got married, I’d want to have my wedding at the Hoffman House!! That was before I met my now husband!! This place was amazing and worked with me on everything!! Definitely worth the money we paid!

  The chef at Hoffman house was amazing to work with! He put together an awesome taste testing to help us narrow down our menu. We got so many compliments on the food from our guests. They said that it was the best food that they ever had at a wedding reception! The wait staff at the reception couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating to our needs! They definitely get a two thumbs up!

  The food and service were impeccable. Many guest commented it is the best food the ever had at a wedding. Samantha was fantastic to work with and was present for the entire evening. I would highly recommend Hoffman House.

  We had our wedding at a separate venue, but catered thru the Hoffman House. We had a small hiccup when the event planner we were working with quit and we weren't notified. As soon as we went into speak with someone, Mike was there to pick up right were the other had left off. He was amazing! Mike listened to all of our concerns and helped guide us with all decisions on the catering. We felt so at ease working with Mike. A week before our wedding, we had an issue with a pool table not being moved, we wanted our Buffett where the pool table was located. I was very nervous and called Mike to ask what we could do. He took the initiative to work with us to get the dimensions and speak with the kitchen to see what they could do. Needless to say everything worked out great! The food was incredible and Patty with catering was so wonderful! She came out to check on everything numerous times and even helped set up our gift table, that had been forgotten about. These people know what they are doing. Highly highly recommend the Hoffman House to cater your next event.

  A personal and professional touch helped make our choice of catering for our wedding at The Pavilion the perfect decision. Both Marissa and Samantha helped guarantee a delicious and enjoyable experience for all our wedding guests. All of our requests were met and in some cases exceeded. Their staff flawlessly executed a perfectly elegant event with class and grace.

  Great to work with, nice and professional staff, willing to work with you on details. Better pricing than we expected! Great food! Infact we got compliments on the food! Get the chocolate filled cookies they make, yum! They cut up our rice krispie treat cake no problem!! Although, I wish they let you keep the leftover food and wine, we did however get to keep the rest of our cookies. We would use them again for sure!!!

  We choose Hoffman House to carter our wedding based off the wide selection of great tasting food we could offer each one of our guests. We worked with Marissa who was a joy to work with. During the planning process she was very easy to work with and if we ever had a question she was right there with an answer. Patti our banquet manager that evening was attentive, friendly, and was checking with us often to make sure everything was ok. The food was phenomenal! We didn't have a single complaint!

Marisa was an absolute joy to work with and was always willing to work with us to make the package work to what we needed/wanted. I got so many compliments on our food and I know family member who are begging for their green beans Provencal recipe!!!

  As a former Catering Manager, I was so pleased with our experience with Hoffman House. The staff was friendly, accommodating, thoughtful and extremely helpful. Our banquet captain, Patti, was such a sweetheart and made sure my husband and I were taken care of all day. The food was delicious, the bar was stocked and Andrea was very responsive to all my questions and emails. I would highly recommend using Hoffman House for any special event!

  Hoffman House catered out reception at the Tebala Shrine Center. It was wonderful! They were flexible with changes and even provided someone to carry our plates back to the head table! Food was fabulous and I received compliments all evening. Great place to work with!

  Working with Hoffman House was a breeze. Samantha is the best. We had a lot of questions and needed to communicate frequently with HH as our wedding day got closer. Samantha was always readily available via email and phone. She provided so much support and on the day of our wedding, she was checking in with us as we ate and making sure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. Our food was delicious, came out hot & fresh tasting and all of our guests really enjoyed it. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

  Marissa and Samantha were amazing! I work in the customer service field myself, and I was completely impressed with how professional both of these women were! I have gotten a lot of feedback about our July 4th wedding, but the most common feedback is how "amazing" the food was! So many people came up to me saying, "usually wedding food is just ok, but yours was amazing." The amount of people to come up to me and say that was amazing. However, that was just the least of it. The girls were so patient with me and so helpful on every little detail of the wedding. I believe they both helped me with other aspects of the wedding that didn't even have to do with catering as well! I could not have asked for better caterers! Our servers were absolutely phenomenal! My husband and I are 100% satisfied and truly grateful for every over at the Hoffman House!

  I absolutely loved the food and service provided for our wedding by Hoffman House! We went to them with a specific meal in mind (Thanksgiving dinner) that was not on their typical menu and they worked with us to make it happen at a great price! I found their staff to be SO responsive and incredibly accommodating but most importantly, their food was GREAT! The only thing I would mark them down for is a small amount because they didn't finish serving our cake. We asked that it be cut and placed back on the cake table for guests to pick up at their leisure which was done without an issue, however, toward the end of the night as it ran out and guests asked for more the servers told them it was gone when in fact there was an entire tier in the kitchen that was never cut. We got to take it to the after party so it wasn't a total loss but I would have of course preferred the guests be able to eat it at the wedding. I would absolutely hire Hoffman House again, great food and great value!
