Steven Carrol/Hitch and Spin married us over a process of time. We loved and got married over an hour away and he still took the time to meet us in person, was flexible with our schedules, and gave a personal touch to our ceremony down to all kinds of special surprises for my groom, timing, songs, immediate on the fly changes and more. Worked with my coordinator and family as well. Loved the requests on the QR code and lights camera action it was awesome time everyone had a blast!

Steven did such an amazing job DJ'ing our wedding. He made the planning process so smooth and was willing to meet with my husband and I as many times as we needed. He made us feel much more relaxed. Steven also did such a great job being the MC during dinner hour, and helped direct our guests and make announcements as needed. The level of professionalism is unmatched. I also loved that he brought fun lights and fog for our first entrance as a couple. Our guests also loved the QR codes he put on the table so they could request songs. Our dance floor was SO fun and our friends and family still mention how great our DJ was even 6+ months out from our wedding. I would use him again in a heartbeat, and definitely recommend him to anyone with an upcoming wedding. Thank you Steven for making our day that much more special!

Absolutely perfect!
We hired Steven with Hitch & Spin as our wedding officiant and DJ, and he was absolutely incredible. He kept everything running flawlessly from start to finish and took so much stress off our hands—we were able to fully enjoy the day, stay in the moment, and focus on each other.
A few last-minute dances and toasts popped up during the night, and he handled every change smoothly without missing a beat. He kept the energy high, brought so much life to the party, and had everyone out on the dance floor all night long.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better person to guide our ceremony and reception. Steven truly went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for him.

Steven was absolutely amazing! We actually met through Facebook marketplace when I was selling a laptop and he needed one to DJ a wedding. We sat and talked in the Target parking lot about his business and life. I was not engaged at the time but knew it was coming. From the moment I got engaged, Steven was there to guide us through the entire process. He made it extremely easy and fun. He’s the hype man you need at your wedding! Highly recommend! Steven was so amazing! From the first meeting to our wedding day, he was amazing! From communicating and helping us plan all of the ceremony and music details, he was an absolute rock star! On the day of our wedding, with Steven officiating and DJing, we had such an incredible time. We are so incredibly thankful to have had him be a part of our day!

We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant, DJ, and pre-marital counselor! Steven made the whole process easy, meaningful, and so much fun. Our ceremony was heartfelt and personal, and the reception was an absolute blast!! Everyone was on the dance floor! The pre-marital sessions gave us tools we still use today. The perfect officiant
Steven was absolutely incredible from start to finish! He spent so much time with us through premarital counseling and really got to know us as a couple — and we got to know him, too. That made the ceremony feel so personal and meaningful. It was perfectly us.
As our DJ, Steven brought amazing energy and kept the night flowing effortlessly. Our guests could tell he was genuinely having a great time. one of my coworkers even said, “I want to be him when I grow up,” which says it all! Everyone loved the music, and he made sure every moment felt seamless.
He coordinated everything with our vendors and took so much stress off our plates, which allowed us to just enjoy the day. We can’t recommend Hitch & Spin enough. Steven truly made our wedding unforgettable!

Best Officiant Ever!
Steve Carroll was absolutely brilliant. He did our knot tying ceremony and DJ’d for our wedding. Steve kept in touch with us all the way through to the big day, helping us plan the ceremony and the music. Steve put us in touch with a wedding photographer/planner couple who were also amazing. He held meetings with us on video calls once a month to check in and keep planning up to date. He has an app that makes adding music to key moments (brides entrance, first dance, etc.) really easy. He is one of the friendliest and most professional people to work with and he made our big day a dream come true. Don’t second guessit, just book him.
Steven was an amazing Officiant and DJ. He was friendly and personable the entire time. He had several different types of speeches for us to choose from and modify. When it came to the DJ portion of the night he let me create my own playlist which he added to. He has playlists premade, I believe, if you don’t want to create your own. I had a lot of friends tell me that they had sore legs from dancing all night, I think our dance floor was full the entire night! He was gracious enough to let us have some of our DJ friends take over his equipment and put on a set for the last hour of the night. He also had several speakers and equipment that he brought along! I had an amazing wedding and I don’t think I could have done it without him being a part of it! He brought the good energy with him. I 10/10 recommend going with him!!

I highly recommend Steven from Hitch & Spin!! Not only did he make things incredibly easy he also was available and quick to answer all of my many questions and concerns. From our 1st meeting I had such a good feeling about him and how he was the perfect for our wedding! He took my playlist and he mixed and managed the best night of fun I could have asked for. I just could not leave the dance floor I was having to much fun. Fantastic DJ and Officiant
Steven did a fantastic job as both our officiant and our DJ for our wedding on Friday April 25th.
As the MC for both the ceremony and the reception, he did a great job with helping us plan both the structure and the music choices during each part of our wedding day. This was especially challenging due to the fact that this was multicultural wedding that was blending both my Pakistani American heritage with my husband’s French Luxembourgian background, which provided a wide range of genres on our playlist. Needless to say, Steven took everything in stride and showed enthusiasm for every detail for our special day.
We met over Zoom multiple times prior to the wedding day to go over the ceremony script, playlists, and other choices and Steven brought a positive and insightful attitude each meeting.
10/10 would recommend!

He was so attentive, professional, kind and selfless. He always promptly responded to our texts or phone calls, even for the simplest of questions. He truly had the goal of providing us with the exact day of our dreams, throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. He was the perfect DJ! He kept the dance floor alive ALL night (seriously all the way until our send-off). He was even creative enough to create a father/daughter mash up dance song, per our request. Steven was amazing. We had his as our officiant and was wonderful to work with. We had multiple meetings with him to go over logistics of the ceremony. Steven was an absolute blessing to have for our wedding! He came recommended by our venue and for good reason. He was incredibly professional, had great advice for us for the ceremony, (we hadn't been to a wedding since we were kids and had no idea what we were doing!) and stepped in to our wedding seamlessly. He requires very little instruction, is very open and communicative, and is really great at reading the room as a DJ. He is incredibly reliable, and between him and an equally wonderful coordinator, our wedding day was virtually stress-free.
He's also a delightful human being, and it was an honor to get to know him better as we planned with him. Steven makes the whole process an absolute delight. We can't recommend him enough!

Steven was so incredibly great!
He answered all our questions, was available for video sessions and phone calls, never made us feel silly for wanting certain things in (or out) of our ceremony, and gave suggestions for helping things go smoothly!
I was a bit concerned initially about how well 2 separate jobs could be managed by one person but the answer is: so much better than I could have hoped!
Steven was fantastic as both officiant and DJ, and even went above and beyond to help with set up and coordination.
My only complaint is that we enjoyed Steven so much, I’m sad that the wedding is over and we won’t need any more meetings with him!
If you have the opportunity to use Hitch & Spin, don’t hesitate! We were so pleased with the services and heard all night (and after the wedding) about how great Steven was as officiant and DJ!

Amazing wedding officiate!
My husband and I had the pleasure of having Steven as our officiant and I can’t even begin to express how fortunate and grateful we are to have worked with him! I remember stressing out because I didn’t connect with anyone we interviewed with but as soon as we got to talking with Steven, we knew our wedding day would be special. The process of creating our ceremony is something I will never forget. He helped us create a script that fit us perfectly and in turn it also brought my husband and I closer. On the day of our wedding he showed up on time, visit us once more before becoming Mr. and Mrs., took photos with us afterwards, and even stayed for cocktail hour! My family absolutely loved having him around, they couldn’t stop talking about how sweet of a person he was after he left. We were looking for somebody who was not just willing to work with us on our budget, but for someone who actually cared about us as a couple and what our vision for the day was going to be. Best officiant/DJ ever!
Steve was absolutely amazing to work with! He really spent time with my wife and I to personalize our ceremony and reception, making it feel like our wedding and nothing we’d ever been to before. He was super accommodating and flexible, offering to help out in any way that he could. This gave the wedding planning process a really nice ease and peace of mind knowing he was on top of things and I wouldn’t need to worry. Can’t recommend him enough! Thanks so much! Also, he was The DJ for the reception afterwards and did an amazing job! It was great finding someone who could do both that we thoroughly enjoyed having!

When the guests comment on the officiant/DJ you know you picked correctly!
Steven provided an absolutely seamless experience. It started with the multiple planning meetings where he got to know us and discuss what we were looking for. The ceremony and reception was expertly done. Many guests (and even the venue) commented on his expertise, kindness, professionalism, and energy that he brought. He Was Amazing!!
He officiated & DJ’d our wedding, he was easy and fun to work with and I got so many compliments from my family members about how clear and plain he spoke making it easy for them to hear and understand him. Renewal ceremony
Steven did a phenomenal job renewing our vows last month. We were scrambling looking for an officiant 2 weeks before the ceremony. He was highly recommended by others. When he reached out to us he made us feel like he genuinely cared about this special day just as much as we did! Steven made my husband and I’s day unforgettable. He was kind from start to finish and really took time to get to know us as a couple and individuals to make our day special. He works with you as much as you need to perfect your ceremony. The day of he is just the calming presence you want in an officiant. With a personality that captivates the room he always helps calm any butterflies you may have. All of our guests raved about him. The only regret my husband and I have is not finding him sooner and have him also DJ our wedding. He will be someone we keep in touch with for life.

Steven officiated and was the DJ for our wedding on 3/2/2024 and it was AMAZING!! He did such a great job with the ceremony and making sure it went exactly the way we wanted it too! We had meetings before hand about it and what we wanted music wise as well! He was an awesome DJ and emcee as well!! Kept the party going til closing time! Steven is amazing and so personable! Definitely feel like we've made a friend for life in him! Couldn't have asked for anyone better or imagined the wedding without him!

Steve did a wonderful job with our wedding!!! He created the perfect speech that hit home... he put what bible quotes we wanted said beautifully in his speech we couldnt even ask him to change anything once we read it!!! We even forgot to tell him we wanted a prayer before food, so when the Dj called him up there, he was on the spot and still did amazing!!! He was very respectful and easy to talk to!! Highly recommend him for anyone getting married!! He will show up and do a wonderful job!! Thank you Steve!!!

We loved using Hitch & Spin for our wedding! Steven was super helpful, accommodating, and flexible with us! From the very beginning of gathering details for our wedding, down to the closing of our special day. We really wanted someone who had heart, and wasn’t just ‘another dj’.
We wanted someone who could share our vision and intwine our love story in the unfolding of the night, someone who had sincerity of heart, was intentional with us in planning our day, was professional, and loved what they do as a dj artist/wedding day curator, and we found that in Steven!

Great DJ and officiant!
Steven officiated our wedding and also was our DJ. Working with Steven was great. We had a few zoom calls before the wedding where we walked through our vision for the day. Steven was attentive to our requests and also checked in periodically as we got closer to the big day. He was even able to provide a translator so that our ceremony could be both in Spanish and English. I would highly recommend Hitch and Spin!

I couldn't reccomend a better officiant for our wedding. From planning to the actual day of the wedding, Steven was right there with us. We had multiple meetings through zoom and he had helped us work through the musical playlists and the wedding schedule. When it had come to the day of the wedding, Steven made every move perfectly. Even down to the photos he was dancing back and forth so the photographer could get the perfect shots. After the ceremony the playlist and the songs were perfectly timed to match the atmosphere. When it came time for the speeches we didn't have to worry about any technical difficulties as Steven had everything ready and working.

We knew Steven was the one when we got our ceremony draft! We both cried reading the vows that Steven put together for us. He truly took the time to understand us as a couple and what we wanted to have portrayed in our celebration.
He was also an amazing DJ & Emcee! He orchestrated a beautiful ceremony for us! I will admit, I am a control freak! Steven went above and beyond to make sure the exact order of songs were played for the ceremony, my walk down the aisle and our exit up the aisle as a married couple!
It was perfect 🥰 He was on point for all the other todo’s during the reception as well.

He was actually excited to be a part of our day and made me feel like he was throughout every step. He was patient with me and is the kindest soul. One of those people that make your special day that much better just by being a part of it. Not to mention I gave him an exact time stamp of when I wanted to walk out and he timed it perfectly somehow so that the best part of the song played when my husband turned around to look at me for the first time. He was totally on it with all of our music, played songs that fit us and our friends perfectly, was extremely organized and professional. We are so grateful this DJ is amazing.

Absolutely perfect!! We had Steven as our officiant and dj! He was so attentive to detail the entire process. We knew we were in good hands after our first phone call.
He made sure our ceremony was perfect, he sent over multiple variations of ceremonies and we got to pick and edit our favorite to make it special for us. He stepped out of the picture for our first kiss and had a microphone so everyone could hear the ceremony.
Steven was the BEST DJ ! He had speakers set up outside and inside our venue and special lights he put up as well. Sound quality was great and he got guests on the dance floor !
While we were running around with our photographer after the ceremony HE EVEN MADE OUR DINNER PLATES ! He truly made our day go so smoothly and at the end of the night he really felt like family. 100% recommend everyone loved him!

Steven made our day memorable
Steven is one of the biggest reasons our ceremony was so memorable. I contacted quite a few officiants looking for someone who could perform a traditional hand fasting ceremony… most were not familiar or really seemed that interested. The second I found Steven and spoke to him about our dreams of a handfasting ceremony he shared in our excitement, and even grew our vision. The amount of research and preparation he showed was incredible. He exceeded our expectations! Our guests were beyond impressed with our ceremony he put together. I heard all evening it was the most beautiful ceremony they have been to.
On top of all of that it was raining on our big day. So it was a bit stressful, we still were married outside and Steven went above and beyond to make sure it was everything we wanted. Once we got to the altar with him all the stresses of the day melted away with his words.

Steven did an amazing job officiating out special day. He met with us weeks before the wedding to go out all the details and guided is in making the best decision that we would never forget. The ceremony was perfect. He delivered everything with such passion and love. I could not have asked for anything better!

Amazing officiant and pre-marital counselor
Steven is an incredible officiant, pre-marital counselor, and person! He is so down to earth, relatable, professional, and fun. We truly could not have had a better officiant for our wedding. We felt like we had known him for years. He gave freedom with preparing the ceremony, and he was just so supportive throughout the entire wedding process.

Officiant/counselor
Steven was amazing! We used his counseling and officiating services and were so pleased with both! He truly takes the time to get to know the couple and helps talk through tough topics in counseling in a light hearted way. We also loved the ceremony he did for us. It was completely unique to who we are as a couple and he made sure to accommodate for the non-traditional things we wanted in our ceremony. We couldn’t recommend Hitch & Spin enough!

The officiant everyone deserves!
Steven Carroll is the officiant every engaged couple deserves. My husband and I took something from every premarital session we had with Steven. This guy is so supportive and kind on top of being a such a great officiant! I’d recommend him to anyone.

We LOVE Hitch & Spin!
We are so glad we chose Hitch & Spin for our wedding! From the premarital counseling sessions, to officiating the ceremony AND DJing the reception, Steven did an awesome job of making every step both fun and meaningful! Not only did he truly help us make our wedding day dreams come true, but prayed for us and with us, guided us, and reminded us to build our marriage relationship on the solid foundation of Christ. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about both each other and God and his purpose for our marriage through the premarital counseling sessions. We got several compliments after our wedding ceremony on Steven's officiating and the beautiful message that he preached, and we are so grateful that he worked with us to make the ceremony just how we envisioned it. Not to mention, he definitely livened up the party at our reception with the best music and lights, and brought all of his own DJ equipment! Helped make our day fun and enjoyable
Steven officiated our wedding at the beginning of the year and was very helpful throughout the wedding process especially planning around covid. We loved getting to learn more about marriage and each other’s personalities through his counseling. Steven makes the whole process very personal and helped make the ceremony more fun and relaxed. He was very flexible and didn’t make the process feel like he was just doing a job.

Steven makes it personal and fun
Steven officiated out wedding. He added personal touches to the ceremony and he made it fun. Absolutely loved my ceremony! My only regret is not hiring him to also DJ the reception.
