The Elgin Hotel became the perfect venue for our son's wedding. The historical beauty provided an elegant background, and the service was above and beyond anything we expected. When I mistakenly booked the wrong meal, the hotel and restaurant staff added an entirely new service to accommodate us. This required an extra 2-hour trip to get all required supplies and ingredients. Our wedding coordinator from the hotel filled in any and all gaps, and the wedding went off without a hitch. With the hotel and restaurant staff taking care of so many details, it allowed us (family) to enjoy the weekend more than we even imagined. Thank you, Elgin!Historic Elgin Hotel's reply:

A fairytale wedding venue with charming details
We got married at The Elgin on 6/24/23, and it was the most magical day of my life! The Elgin's staff make sure every detail is perfect. Our family rented out the hotel's third floor, and it felt so warm - like home! I can't wait to go back and experience the other luxurious suites that The Elgin has to offer! -

Wonderful Experience
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Elgin in November 2019. They were great to work with, and the space is absolutely beautiful. We were able to reserve most of the rooms for family and friends the night before the wedding, and had a lovely time hanging out and making ourselves at home in the several gathering areas spread throughout the space. Organizing the ceremony and reception was virtually painless, and the Elgin team went out of their way to make everything come together perfectly. What I love about this space is that we can come back to stay and remember the experience - it is going to be a yearly tradition for my husband and I to stay at the Elgin on our anniversary. -

Staff did an amazing job of answering all of our questions leaving up to the wedding. They had a back up plan if it rained and they were very accommodating. All of our guests said it was the perfect place and it fit our Gatsby/1920a theme! This is definitely a place we will recommend and we also plan on coming back to celebrate anniversaries! -

The most beautiful and wonderful time. The staff is A+++. The family style dinning tables at breakfast can’t be beat, what a cool idea. The memories are unforgettable and I would do it again in a heart beat! Best value, best service, beautiful venue. We will be going bsck for our anniversary and other events! -

It was the perfect space for us to relax and enjoy getting ready. Tammy and her staff were more than helpful and made me feel som comfortable!

The process was simple and easy as we selected our venue package, the venue was elegant and inviting in every room, and lastly the Elgin team was accommodating to our needs and helpful during every visit.
