We are so thankful we chose Hire a Minister and had Mathew as our officiant! From the very beginning, Mathew was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and personable. He took the time to really get to know us and made sure our ceremony felt meaningful, personal, and true to who we are as a couple.
Our wedding ceremony was absolutely amazing—beautifully delivered, heartfelt, and perfectly balanced between emotional and joyful. From our very first meeting at an open house at Knotting Hill Place, we immediately clicked as it was clear that he was dedicated to making our day perfect. Initially, I spoke with a few wedding officiants, and nothing was "clicking" for me. When I came across Hire a Minister, and I hopped on the phone with Mathew, I knew instantly within 5 minutes that I wanted to hire him for our wedding. Once we got to the actual script phase for the ceremony, I was totally blown away. He did a wonderful job, and I felt so emotional reading through the first draft. Mathew was very patient with us and flexible about the little 2 tweaks that we requested (that were very minor). And then it was perfect! Three months before our wedding, my now husband and I lost our dog that we've had together for 11 years, and it was so heartbreaking. We thought we would have him there for our wedding and we were so devastated. I reached back out to Mathew before our wedding to see if we could do a special moment in the script for our sweet boy, and he added in a few words with a moment of silence for those who couldn't be with us today. It allowed us to feel like our little fur baby was part of our special day even though he was no longer with us. I will be forever grateful for how beautiful and seamless our ceremony went. I couldn't have asked for a better officiant. -

After going back and forth on having a family member/friend officiate my ceremony, I decided I really wanted the professional touch of someone who does this frequently. I was worried about it not having a personal touch, and I was so wrong to think that! Mathew was absolutely phenomenal, one of my favorite vendors for our day! We had calls ahead of time to get to know each other, and it was so personal that I forgot we didn't know him before! He was punctual, professional, kind, and I would recommend him a million times over! -

Wedding Review
My wife and I are blessed to have Mathew officiate our special day! To expand that, not only are we blessed that he officiated our wedding, but he also spent time with us during marriage coaching. He is someone who we are fond of and will think the world of him forever. Our ceremony was so beautiful how it all came together, and we cannot thank him enough. Even though we were not from the area, he took the time to get to know us on multiple occasions, both in person and over Zoom. The trait that won my wife and I over is his passion for couples and the openness he displays. Our guests were impressed with our ceremony speech, and many people even thought we had known him for years! Mathew is a genuine and easy-going individual and he will mold your wedding ceremony to fit your preferences with no hesitation.
Also, as was mentioned, if you are looking for marriage coaching, he will be able to provide those services too. During our sessions, he wasn't reinventing the wheel but provided pragmatic advice for a successful marriage. After each session, we had resources to review now and in the future.
I would highly recommend HireAMinister to anyone who is looking for someone who cares about your love story, not only as an officiant, but a person too. -

We had Joe at hireaminister.com officiate our wedding and he was awesome! Prior to the wedding, we had a few zoom calls so that we could get to know him and we discussed how we wanted a short but sweet ceremony. The ceremony that Joe wrote was absolutely beautiful and we had so many guests ask us if we had known him for years! My husband and I don't love being in the spotlight, but Joe guided us through the ceremony perfectly and eased our nerves beforehand at the rehearsal. Joe even mailed in the signed marriage license to the county for us after the wedding so we didn't have to worry about a thing! We are so glad that we had such an amazing experience! -

Hire a Minister was recommended by our wedding planner as a team of officiants who we could work with us to create a simple, yet customized ceremony, and they did not disappoint. After interviewing a few officiants, we selected Mathew LeBlanc who was warm and personable, and shared several great ideas about how we could make it unique and incorporate some aspects of my cultural heritage. We agreed with Mathew to include a short "spice ceremony" as part of our marriage vows and he did the rest to prepare us. Our guests really connected with and enjoyed that aspect of the ceremony, and we couldn't be happier! Of course, because of the Covid restrictions, we had to postpone our wedding twice, and Mathew was very kind to accommodate the new dates each time, and we are very grateful for that! A big Thank You to Hire a Minister and Mathew for officiating our wedding and making it special!! -

Mathew was awesome!! From our initial conversation to our wedding he made my husband and I feel at complete ease with everything. He wrote a beautiful ceremony and tied in all the special details we wanted. He didn't miss a beat when I accidentally messed up a part in our ceremony and he recovered it so well as if I was supposed to start our unity ceremony early as I accidentally did. He was very professional and well dressed too! 10/10 would recommend Mathew and his team! -

Mathew was wonderful - highly recommend! He took the time to meet with us a few months out from the wedding so we could get to know each other and ran us through the structure of the ceremony and vows. He took our thoughts and wants into consideration and wrote our ceremony exactly how we had pictured it. We also had Mathew attend our rehearsal and he walked us and our wedding party through each of our responsibilities which helped our big day go very smoothly. Everyone raved about the ceremony and how perfect it was. We highly recommend hire a minister and especially Mathew! He made sure our ceremony was exactly how we wanted. Thank you! -

We wanted a short and sweet ceremony and Mathew did just that. He was so professional, kind and respectful. He really listened to what we wanted during the consultation, crafted a ceremony script within the time frame he indicated, and on the day of, delivered the ceremony with a clear voice. He is a great speaker so if you are looking for a professional through and through that can deliver a great experience, I would not hesitate to book him! -

My now husband and I had been trying to find an officiant for a while and we had been flaked on repeatedly. Which was surprising to us, but apparently it happens quite a bit. So when we found the website for Hire a Minister and read about Mathew and his team we were so excited and so hopeful at the same time. We were not let down. Mathew responded almost immediately, we made a plan, met and talked about what we wanted, put down a deposit, and everything was set in stone. We had to change venues due to some outside circumstances at the absolute last minute and Mathew was more than willing to relocate…to our front yard! (It was amazing). Mathew was respectful to our family and even hung out for a little bit. Mathew made our day so special. I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I sincerely thank him and his team from the bottom of my heart. -

Mathew did an INCREDIBLE job on our wedding ceremony. He puts so much effort into getting to know the couple and personalizing the ceremony script that I can't imagine it having been any better with a pastor who actually knew us before. He came recommended by my photographer and as soon as we met with him it took a huge worry off my shoulders picking who would perform the ceremony.
I have been to plenty of ceremonies that were boring, too long, cookie cutter or impersonal and this whole experience was far from that. He is passionate about making your day special and unique to you. He is a professional and a wonderful public speaker. We got many compliments on how great of a job he did! I would absolutely recommend having Mathew perform your ceremony! -

Absolutely awesome
This company is INCREDIBLE. I found them on wedding wire I did not think twice on clicking the link to hireaminister.com. I went through tons of reviews for them and all the wonderful people Mathew has on the website, we couldn’t decide so we sent in our information it wasn’t maybe 20 minutes and Mathew had contacted us. We set the meeting and from then on out is was amazing. He is down to earth, easy going and friendly man I’ve met (besides my husband). He definitely hit all our notes in the draft he sent over. He made it personal and short (due to heat) we definitely recommend him and his company. -

The Best Ceremony Ever thanks to Mathew!
Mathew DeBlanc and HireAMinister.com came in to save us when we were left out in the cold by our church and pastor that we thought would be officiating our wedding! Nicole Crowley (our wedding Coordinator) highly recommended Mathew and HireAMinister.com, and I am so glad that our previous pastor did not work out -as Mathew was truly a blessing in disguise! From our first meeting with him, we knew that he was a perfect fit for us and that we were going to have an amazing ceremony! Most ceremonies are boring, and people want them to be over with to get to the reception- but not ours! We still have people talking about how great our ceremony was, personalized to us, and like Mathew has known us forever, and that our ceremony was intimate and perfect! We only have Mathew to thank for this! We both got teary eyed during our ceremony with pictures to prove it! We only wish we had a video of our ceremony to remember it forever! Joe was awesome! Highly recommend
We were a little nervous about hiring an officiant, but when our pastor wasn’t available Hire A Minister came highly recommended. Mathew the owner was amazing and put us in touch with Joe Crenshaw. Joe was the perfect match for us!! From our initial meeting where he listened to what we really wanted for the ceremony and actually sending it to us for our review and approval. The ceremony he wrote up for us was absolutely perfect!! When we finally met in person on the day of rehearsal it was like seeing an old friend. He was so easy to work with and talk to and loved his eye for detail. He had little touches like stepping aside when he pronounced as husband and wife so he would not be in the picture. I would have never thought of that. He was so great to work with! We would highly recommend! Thanks for everything Joe! ❤️ -

We talked to many ministers and we are so happy we decided to go with hireaminister! After talking to Mathew over the phone I knew he was the one! We met up with him before our wedding and talked as if we have been knowing each other for a while! He did such a great job officiating our wedding. He made everyone feel comfortable. We attend a larger church in North Texas, and discovered hireaminister after we didn't hear back from the church about an off-site ceremony. We could not have been happier to find him! He met us as Starbucks and got to know us and our story. We talked on the phone a few times about what kind of ceremony we wanted. Matthew asked us questions we hadn't even thought of, and helped us sort out what made sense for us. The ceremony he wrote was absolutely beautiful, and created exactly the romantic feel we were going for. Multiple guests told us they never cry at weddings (including a former wedding planner), but were moved to tears at ours. One guest even asked us where we found our officiant because "he was the most professional he had seen". He was early to both the rehearsal and ceremony, which alleviates so much stress the day of.

My wife and I were looking for an officiant that would be able to attend our rehearsal and would have a lively personality. Pastor DeBlanc introduced us to Pastor Adrian McConnell. Pastor McConnell was amazing. He had that bubbly personality we were looking for and he was very professional. We felt comfortable with Pastor McConnell from the moment we met him. Pastor McConnell kept in contact with us the entire time during our wedding process making communication very easy which made us feel very comfortable. Adrian McConnell went the extra mile officiating our wedding making sure our big day was wonderful. He is awesome! I would definitely recommend Hireminister to my family, friends and to anyone looking for an officiant for their big day. This is the way to go!

Amie Sent on 11/11/2017I was planning my wedding from England and after we decided on an intimate backyard wedding I knew we would need to find a minister. I emailed hireaminister.com and never looked back. Mathew made the process so easy and stress-free. Being in England we couldn't meet face to face, so Mathew and I had several FaceTime chats to discuss the ceremony and specifics. I can't praise Mathew or his company enough. Even the guests commented on how great he was.
