    Fairy Tale Wedding Came True ❤️

    From the moment we called to inquire about the venue we were met with professionalism and respect. We met with Katie and she went over every package that was offered, and showed us the event space. Immediately we knew we were in good hands. The amount of money it cost at others venues were ridiculous, however what the Christiana Hilton was offering was worth every penny spent. They absolutely met all of our budget needs and we received more than we expected. Katie’s demeanor, attitude and personality stayed the same throughout the entire planning process and absolutely played a part of making my Fairytale Wedding come to fruition ❤️

    Absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding

    We had our daughter's wedding at Hilton Wilmington/Christiana and it was perfect. It was an Indian Muslim wedding with outside catering and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. The Events Manager Ms. Katie McDevitt was phenomenal to work with. She was on top of things, with excellent communication, especially dealing with multiple vendors resulting in a well coordinated and a stress free event. The ambiance in both the Junior Ballroom where we had the ceremony and the large ballroom where we had the reception were perfect. All our guests loved the wedding and had nothing but compliments about the venue. Above all, the staff managing the food were very efficient and courteous with top notch service. You will be very happy with Hilton Wilmington/Christiana for intimate weddings and your guests will love it.

    Bruce & Evette 45th Wedding Anniversary

    We were very pleased with Ms. Katie McDevitt and her Team’s services from beginning to end, from our initial planning meeting, coordination with outside vendors, and to the end result. They were very accommodating and professional while adjusting to changes to meet our needs. The scheduling staff ensured that everyone that reserved a room before the cut-off date received one under the coordinated rate and with the appropriate beds as needed.

    Without soliciting feedback from our guests, they were very pleased with the overall environment and hospitality of the hotel staff from check-in to check-out. Todd and his Team did an outstanding job of preparing the event room and surroundings in a timely manner and dressed it up to Evette and my likings (BEAUTIFUL)! Everyone made a compliment on how delicious all 3 course meals were. Please give our compliment to the Chef. The two bartenders did a tremendous job of accommodating our guests. Lastly, the rose peddles in the room were a surprise, but very pleasing!

    Again, Evette and I were very pleased with the services we received for this special occasion. The pricing for the overall event was very reasonable to include the room rates. We feel Katie and her Team went above and beyond to make this occasion very special and if we decide to have a 50th Wedding Anniversary, Team Hilton will be our go to venue.

    Convenient, Professional, Stress Free

    We had a great experience from start to finish, and have only heard great things from our guests as well. We were looking for a venue that was as all-inclusive as possible / as stress-free as possible, and I think we got that and more.

    The team is extremely organized. We had some last minute cancellations, and my now father-in-law was able to make some last-minute changes to our seat assignments with the team directly. The team helped us save appetizers and leftovers, brought the card box into the reception room without us even asking (and later moved it into our suite), and took care of my drinks so much that I never even visited the bar.

    The beignets for the late night sweet snack were a huge hit! Bing's Bakery for the cake was also delicious -- we got to have three different flavors for each tier without any additional cost.

    Beautiful and reasonably priced venue

    Getting married at Christiana Hilton was a great decision. We loved that there was a smaller ballroom available so we were able to have in intimate wedding. The ceremony space, ballroom and hotel in general is beautiful. The food was fantastic and I keep getting compliments from my guests about it. And Katie made everything so much easier than I expected. I did not want a venue where I had to do all the work and Katie made it so I think I did the bare minimum a bride can do. It was a perfect day.

    Waltman Wedding/Hilton

    We had the most wonderful experience at the Christiana Hilton for our wedding in November of 2024! All staff at the hotel answered all of our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The food was delicious! They helped bring our vision to life and we’re so kind and took care of everything for us so we could enjoy our night! I am so grateful for everything they did for us!

    June Wedding 2024

    Choosing to have our wedding at the Hilton was the best decision we could have made. With their all-inclusive packages, it takes the stress out of planning a big event. Katie the wedding coordinator, was so professional and flexible with changes. She always responded in a timely manner and answered all of my questions leading up to the event which made me feel at ease. What else can I say other than we had the best night of our lives! Decor was put together beautifully, food was great, and service was wonderful. Guests had many positive things to say and I will be recommending this location to others in the future. Thank you again to Katie and the staff at the Hilton/Christiana!

    Beautiful weekend!

    I cannot express enough how absolutely amazing our wedding was at the Hilton over this past weekend! Katie and Todd were so attentive, caring, supportive, and helpful during our special day. Katie was instrumental in pulling everything together over the several months of planning. From beginning to end the experience was beyond our expectations. Our guests gave many compliments on the food, decorations, and ambiance which was all taken care of by the Hilton. With the beautiful weather we were able to utilize the outdoor courtyard. Then the transition to the cocktail hour then the ballroom was seamless. Highly recommended to any and all couples looking for a stunning wedding.

    Great wedding venue, and an excellent service

    We were looking for an intimate Indian wedding venue in the Delaware area. After some research based on our needs, we landed at Hilton Christiana/Wilmington. We worked closely with Katie McDevitt and she has been extremely helpful to fit in our needs throughout the entire process.
    We all had a fabulous celebration. Custom Indian food menu was amazing as well.

    Unmatched Experience

    Having our wedding at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana was the best decision my husband and I could have ever made. Katie and her team were absolutely amazing and made the process seamless. From our first meeting a Katie was very professional and came prepared as she anticipated many of the questions I had before i got to ask them which was impressive, she provided me with a few links she used for her own wedding for items i had not thought of, and was really knowledgeable about the facility and all things leading up to our big day. During our food tasting she made sure the entrees were up the par and if we were not satisfied she remedied by offering customized options which was thoughtful and quite a surprise as we were not aware we could customize entrees. Additionally leading up to the big day I ran out if time to get place cards and the night of/ morning of, she completed our place cards for us and provided items we needed for our photo guest book. Words cannot express how much of a blessing Katie was during the wedding process and i am not sure how we would have made as painless as we did it without her. The entire hilton staff did such an amazing job and my guest raved about the food, drinks, and overall experience. I cant thank the Katie and Hilton staff enough and hands down would recommend this venue for a wedding or any other event!

    My experience was wonderful!

    Team was great! My wedding planner Katie was great. She is professional and knowledgeable. The entire staff was so helpful in making my dream day come true and stress free. The entire Catering staff was excellent. Food was excellent. Venue excellent!

    Fantastic venue!

    Our wedding and reception at the Hilton was perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Katie, communicated with us every step of the way and expertly made our vision for the ceremony and reception a reality. Katie and Todd, our day of coordinator, made sure everything ran smoothly the day of our event and thought of every detail. They were both fantastic! Our guests raved about the food (we had a taco bar that everyone loved!) and all of the staff were so welcoming. Everything you need for a wedding except for a DJ and photographer were included in the wedding package, which made planning easier than expected. The reception hall was beautiful and spacious, with lovely chandeliers. Overall, we’d highly recommend the Hilton for your wedding!

    Beautiful wedding venue & convenient

    I fell in love with the Hilton Christina as soon as I walked in the door. It is a stunning hotel and matched my vision perfectly. I got married on NYE so it was very convenient to be able to party into the new year & then be able to just walk to our hotel room! Made it safe for my guests as well. The Hilton packages make your wedding planning experience stress free as they include the catering and alcohol and have partnerships to supply your flowers & cake. We only needed to find a DJ and photographer!

    Amazing wedding day

    Theresa and Kelly met all of my expectations! They were very organized and always responded promptly. I had a lot of ideas and questions which they always answered and helped bring my vision to life. Leading up to the wedding, I was able to drop off all of my decor which they set up and they were very thorough with the timeline for the day of the wedding. They brought us anything we needed the day of the wedding. No request was denied. They truly went above and beyond what we needed! The day of the wedding, they contacted all of the vendors and made sure they knew where to set up. The hubby and I were so busy that they boxed up our food with a few extra surprises in our honeymoon suite. At the wedding, no one was hungry at all. We had plenty of apps, servicing stations, plus the first course and the actual meal. They truly went the extra mile. I trusted them 100% and they did not disappoint. I plan on having other events at the Hilton due to the service.

    Our Moment

    Deciding to have our wedding and reception here was the best choice we could have made. Everything was done professionally and according to our wishes and some added surprises (Thanks Theresa! :-) ). We chose the outdoor garden/patio, the fountain was a beautiful back drop for the ceremony and pictures. What can we say about the food.....absolutely delicious, presentation superb!

    Best Night Ever!

    My husband and I originally wanted to book the Hilton because my husband’s whole side of the family is not from Delaware. We wanted a quick and easy access to their hotel rooms. His family was even able to get it for a discounted rate. We were extremely happy to work with Hilton and their wedding coordinators. They made the process easy for us. Communication was wonderful and it felt very organized. I had complete trust in them to make the dream come to real life. Everything was beautiful and the food was delicious. The groom and bride’s parents were extremely pleased and impressed on how attentive the team was.

    We can’t thank them enough for all their hard work! The day was perfect with no issues that we were aware of! I would recommend the Hilton to anyone getting married/private event.

    Beautiful venue, easy process

    Having our wedding at Hilton Wilmington/Christiana was the best decision ever! The package we chose was all inclusive which made it so much easier to plan a wedding in 4 months. They gave you an option of 2 bakers to choose your wedding cake from (which was included in the package), and a choice of 2 florists to choose your centerpieces from (which were also included although we didn't do flower centerpieces, we used the florist for our bouquets). We had our ceremony in the courtyard which was so beautiful and the reception in the banquet hall which was beautiful and spacious. Teresa was so easy to work with and was very responsive. She walked us through the whole process and kept us on track to making sure that we had everything ready to go. It was honestly a very easy process and we had the most beautiful and fun wedding we could pull off in 4 months!! The food was delicious (we chose the salmon and stuffed chicken option) and the open bar was great too! Having a room for the night and rooms blocked off for our guests was very convenient! The location is close to the highway and easy to get to, and there is plenty of parking. Beautiful areas to take pictures as well available on site! Having a bridal suite for the whole day, made getting ready a breeze!

    Highly recommended team!

    The team at Chrisitiana Hilton is experienced and accommodating. Every person we interacted with was willing to help us in any way that they could. We were able to book our venue with food, drinks, and decor within our tight budget. Highly recommend booking them for your big day!

    Wonderful Reception experience

    Hilton Christiana team made my wedding rehearsal dinner/ reception wonderful experiences. The menu choices were varied and affordable, and what my husband and I choose all turned out to be delicious. Sales Coordinator was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Day of staff was accommodating and my guests were so complimentary of the staff, venue, and food. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a rehearsal/reception venue in the Newark area. Absolutely competitive with other local venues.

    Absolutely Amazing

    From start to finish, the staff at the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana were receptive to our wedding vision and worked tirelessly to help us execute a perfect celebration. The food was delicious with large portions with each of our guests feeling full. The ballroom space and outside courtyard was elegant and met all of our needs. The greatest asset of all was the employees, Todd and Theresa (and many others), who spent many hours with great thought and care towards making our wedding day a dream come true. We look forward to visiting the Hilton Christiana/Wilmington again very soon and would 100% recommend this venue for a dream wedding!

    Best venue ever

    Where do we begin with our gratitude and thanks to the Hilton Christiana!?
    The Hilton was the last of MANY venues we looked at and all it took was one visit, I knew the search was over! The location was perfect, accommodations were gorgeous, food was amazing, and the all inclusive pricing took away so many worries and extra planning details that I was stressing over!
    Leah and all of the staff at Hilton Christiana really made our wedding the dream day we had imagined. Right from our first visit we were made to feel at home and could immediately envision our wedding there.
    The personal touches that Leah worked hard to make happen for us were indescribable. (EX: We wanted Donuts instead of Wedding Cake. DONE. We wanted Whiskey Shots for our Unity Ceremony. DONE.)
    She was always available by phone or email and readily answered the many, many, many questions we had up until the big day.
    On the day of, we had absolutely nothing to worry about. The Hilton Christiana Team ran the whole day seamlessly, if there were any issues we never knew about them!
    From Leah and Jessica working behind the scenes, the wonderful Front Desk Staff, and Alfredo catering to our every need – it truly was the best day ever. Alfredo truly deserves special recognition. From the Rehearsal to the After Party, he was guiding us along every step of the way and provided nothing less than PERFECTION. I can not imagine our day with out him!
    There are not enough words to give the thanks you all deserve! Thank you again for everything!
    PS- we loved our experience and The Hilton Christiana so much that we now come the first of every month to have a drink together and celebrate another month of marriage bliss.

    The Most Amazing Experience Ever

    As we begun our journey to the best day of our lives we shopped many venues, did the necessary tours and received pricing. Obviously we settled with the Hilton for a few reason: 1. It smelled amazing when we walked through the doors. 2. They were very flexible with our ideas and receptive to modification we wanted to make. 3. Leah...sweet and gracious Leah, she was there every step of the way. 4. The food...OMG the food. We didn't want the typical wedding food we wanted our guest to leave full and that they did. We received and still receive awesome feedback of the amount of food and quality. 5. The look and feel of the wedding space was elegant, soft and left much room to transfer the space. The bridal suite was very spacious with 5 women a flower girl MUA and hair stylist we still had plenty of room without feeling we were on top of each other. Oh and another perk the suite is on a private floor.
    All of my guest stayed onsite and were amazed by the accommodation and the staff. Jessica made the room block process seamless and provided regular updates she was just as amazing as Leah.
    The Butler staff Shaq and Alfredo catered to our every need even prior to the wedding when we would just show up to look at the space and ask questions.
    We were even taken care of after the wedding, the staff made sure we had food to eat and even left us a nice gift after the wedding in the honeymoon suite.
    I can go on and on regarding our experience. If we had to do it all over again the Hilton will still be our choice.

    Dream Wedding Weekend

    Thank you to the staff of the Christiana Hilton in Newark DE for helping to make our daughter’s wedding weekend a dream come true! From the rehearsal dinner to the cocktail hour, reception and farewell breakfast; it all went perfectly. Leah was great to work with. She answered every question and request, even arranging the unconventional New Orleans Second Line from the patio to the ballroom! Our guests travelled from over 10 different states and loved the convenience of having all the festivities at the hotel and it was great to have the hotel shuttle transport our guests to the church and back again. The ballroom was beautiful, the food was wonderful and overall a great experience.

    The Most Perfect Day

    Our wedding at the Hilton was absolutely amazing. The only thing that went wrong the day of was the fact that it rained. The staff did everything possible to make sure it was still the best possible event it could be, even with having to make last minute changes on the fly. When we did our initial meeting to tour the venue, Leah could not have done a better job to sell us on it. She was extremely helpful with answering all our questions and also got back to us in a very timely manner. I was so confident that all details were perfectly planned for the wedding that I was not stressing and was fully able to enjoy the day. Alfredo was our day of contact for the wedding and he was absolutely amazing. He was right there whenever we needed him and told us everything we needed to do as it came up. All our family and bridal party made multiple comments about how good of a job he did. One of our eight year old flower girls said she wants him to work her wedding (many, many years from now). I can't put into words how good the food was. We had our rehearsal dinner there the night before and everyone ranted and raved about how good the food was at both meals.

    Coming from someone who works in operations and normally stresses about making sure everything is perfectly planned and goes off without a flaw, I can honestly say I did not have to worry about a thing due to the staff at the Hilton. All details were planned to a T and our wedding day was the most perfect day it could have been, shared with our closest family and friends.

    Amazing Venue

    This venue is amazing. Leah worked with us from the beginning until the end. She answered calls and emails in a timely manner and always had the answers.
    The guests had a great time from the food to the beautiful room, everything was perfect!
    Alfredo helped us the day of the wedding and he took all my decorations and cake and had them packed up ready to go for me the next day. I would recommend this venue to anyone!!!

    Best wedding ever!

    We had our “Surprise” wedding at the Hilton Christiana in May and were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. The staff was so attentive and professional every step of the way, from Leah, who answered every email and phone call, to all of the day of staff who helped orchestrate the best surprise wedding ever. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing and were cheerful and helpful. The customer service was out of this world.

    We never felt rushed, and everything ran like clockwork. We could only imagine the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to make it all happen. It is to the Hilton’s credit that this all happened so effortlessly, allowing us to have a stress-free experience.

    I can’t say enough good things about the food and drinks. All our guests commented on the quality and quantity of food. Alfredo, made sure we had plenty of food sent to our suite, which was also provided by the Hilton.

    Our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they have ever attended. Thank you from the both of us for making sure we had the perfect day. It truly was the best day EVER!

    Leah and her team gave us a fantastic wedding!

    We had our weddding on Feb 02, and Leah and her team gave us a fantastic wedding! First of all, Hilton provides the most elegant set up for everything, the decoration of guest reception tables, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour tables, and the reception tables. Secondly, they are very flexible and professional, they coordinated my other vendors very well to make sure the flow is smooth. They also provide a special drink that was designed for my wedding, which is peach color cocktail drink, we love the drink! All in all, our guests spent a great time together, they love the food, drink, the service, the breakfast and everything during the wedding. After the wedding they provided us a sweet hotel rooms with chocolate and champagne, and we had spent the most wonderful night at Hilton. I strongly recommend my friends to hold their wedding at Hilton Wilmington/Christiana.

    An elegant luncheon for 25

    We wanted to thank you and your staff for the most wonderful luncheon.  We could not have asked for more.  Your attention to detail made the day go so smoothly.

    Alfredo was amazing and his staff was excellent.  He didn’t even flinch when we arrived a bit early.  All of our guests praised the food and service.

    No one went home hungry; that is for sure.  Please pass on our thanks and praise to all involved including the chef.  Everything was fantastic.

    Words can't describe how great the staff is. Leah goes above and beyond to help make things run as smooth as possible. The day of my rehearsal and actual wedding day went absolutely perfect thanks to Todd and Shaq. No matter what was needed how big or small they were right there.     Choosing the Hilton as our venue was absolutely the best choice we made! Leah was awesome during the planning process and ran with every idea we had. She has such a positive, up-beat personality and we loved working with her. The staff at the Hilton are a great group of people who made the whole process and day of so much fun!

    We had a wonderful time the day of our wedding and were not stressed at all throughout the night. We insisted on having our ceremony outside in the courtyard, even though the forecast looked a little iffy, Alfredo handled it like a rockstar! The newly renovated ballroom is gorgeous and fit our wedding theme perfectly! Alfredo and his staff ensured we always had a drink in hand and kept the party going smoothly. At the end of the night he even packaged up our meals (we didn't have time to eat), some tacos from our late night snack bar, as well as cake and champagne all waiting for us in our room! Alfredo seemed to be every where that night and was always there when you needed him. We can't thank him enough!

    We received many compliments from our guests about the venue on the food, drinks, taco bar, etc. We really couldn't be happier with how the day turned out! We will definitely recommend the Hilton to anyone getting married or looking for an event venue!

The easiest, most stress free planning process I could ever imagine, all thanks to wedding coordinator Leah. Leah loves her job (at least it feels that way) and it shows in everything that she does. I felt special, catered to, and cared about from the time I sent my first email, inquiring about the venue, to the day I walked down the aisle and Leah fluffed my train right before I entered. Leah, you are one of a kind and I could not imagine this wedding experience without you. Alfredo was the reason behind a smooth reception and rehearsal dinner. He truly catered to my husband and I throughout the entired reception and set the tone of the rehearsal dinner and wedding. The whole team at the Hilton is amazing.     I looked at several venues prior to going to the Hilton and while they all were nice whe we walked into the Hilton we immediately knew (prior to speaking with Leah the sales coordinator) that this would be our venue. After speaking with Leah who gave us a tour of the hotel. Although the hotel was under construction and we couldn't see The reception room my husband and I Still felt this was the place to share our union. Leah, Jessica, Alfredo made my wedding day a day to remember. I've received nothing but compliments from my family and friends not only mentioning how nice the wedding was but how professional and friendly the Hilton staff was. I'm happy we choose the Hilton.

    I'm not sure where to begin because there are so many things to praise about the Christiana Hilton, other than to say it was the perfect place for us to get married. Leah, the Hilton's wedding planner, was phenomenal. She had so much knowledge, so many ideas, and she was accommodating of everything we wanted to do. We chose to get married at the Hilton for three reasons: Leah, the amazing food, and the convenience of having the wedding at a hotel not far from the Philadelphia airport because we had a lot of guests coming from out of state. I cannot say enough great things about Leah; she was an integral part of planning our wedding. She was always calm and on top of things. Alfredo was our Head Butler the weekend of our wedding and we were so impressed. Everywhere we turned, he was there, making sure we had everything we needed. He executed our plan for the weekend perfectly and our family and friends loved him. We loved him! Alfredo was also very fast to think on his feet, and very experienced at making sure events happened with no issues. I cannot imagine our wedding without Alfredo there making sure everything was just right. As I mentioned, a lot of our friends and family were visiting from out of town. It was so nice to have everyone staying there at the hotel with us, and we were able to maximize our time with our friends and family. It was very convenient that guests didn't have to travel between venues the day of the wedding because everything was taking place right there. The quality and amount of food was spectacular, and the Hilton was very accommodating of food allergies and our gluten free guests. I'm running out of space, so I'll end with this: from the time we checked in on Thursday, the Hilton completely took over, allowing us to relax and not have to worry about any of the setup, last minute details, or cleanup. They took care of everything so we could enjoy our wedding.

    I cannot say enough great things about the Christiana Hilton! We had our wedding there on Friday, October 13, 2017. It was a raging success! We had a fairly large wedding of 185 people. Initially I was concerned with the spacing but the Hilton was able to accommodate us beautifully. They have the most amazing team of people working behind the scenes to make all your wedding dreams come true. We absolutely LOVED working with Leah. She was very hands on and attentive from our initial meeting all the way to the day of our wedding. She was never too busy to take my calls or emails. Leah always seemed very invested in our big day and never disregarded us as just another wedding. Our butler was Alfredo and he worked incredibly hard to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch. Everything was perfect! The food was a delight. The liquor was all top shelf. The ballroom and hotel look fabulous with all of the recent renovations that have been done. The wait staff and bartenders were incredibly efficient especially dealing with that large of a wedding. Weeks have passed and people are still gushing to me about how fantastic our wedding was and I have to agree with them! We are beyond pleased with everything. So if you’re in the market for a place to hold your reception, please stop in and check out the Hilton. You’ll be glad you did!

The sales manager Leah was so helpful, flexible and kept me on track during my planning. I just absolutely enjoyed working with her. The day of my wedding Alfredo was there to keep everything running smoothly without any mishaps. It was the perfect day!     Leah and the Hilton staff were amazing. We could not have had a smoother wedding reception. Everything went off perfectly. Leah answered all our questions and helped us make sure we thought of everything ahead of time. We had 2 personal day of event coordinators that made sure everything was going exactly as we wanted. The room was perfect size for us and the food was fantastic. Even though the original spaces for getting ready were under renovations they were very accommodating in making sure we had our own spaces and would not see each other ahead of time. We would definitely recommend the Hilton to anyone doing any event.

    The Hilton Wilmington/Christiana honeymoon suite was great! We received free accommodations through Cavaliers Country Club and it was just what we needed. The shuttle transportation was great and was awesome for our guests who didn't want to drive. I was so pleased with everything, including the breakfast buffet.

    My husband and I got married on April 23, 2016 at the Hilton. Everything was perfect! Leah and her staff are truly amazing! I honestly was NOT stressed at all on our wedding day! You sit with Leah multiple times prior to your big day, and go over everything - every little detail. So, on the wedding day I wasn't worried at all! We got married outside, but we had a back up in case it would of rained. The food was pretty good too. Our guests still talk about our wedding! Everyone loved that everything was in one location: ceremony, reception, and hotel. I highly recommend the Hilton.

Other venues we looked at had much fewer options. The Hilton reception room was also beautiful with gorgeous chandeliers. The cocktail hour area and after-hours bar area is great too. The ambiance and décor make it feel very sophisticated/upscale no matter what your wedding theme is (other venues we looked at had the cocktail hour in the center of the hotel with everyone else's rooms from floors above looking down on it, or such bright florescent lighting that it felt like you were at a regular hotel). I can't say enough good things about this venue - the service and the venue itself truly surpassed all our expectations and we are so grateful. We highly, highly recommend!

    Amazing place. My wedding was everything and more. Leah was a breath of fresh air and was there when ever I needed her. Would highly recommend the Hilton to any couple looking for a fabulous place. Oh and the food was to die for.

    We had our wedding here on 12/23/16 and everything was absolutely perfect!!!! Leah helped us every single step of the way and we couldn't be more thankful for her. Suzanne was our butleress and amazing is a huge understatement for her. My bridal party and I got ready on property and everything was beautifully set up and we were checked on often. My husband and I did a first look in the courtyard and the Hilton graciously allowed our two dogs to be apart of it. Almost every wedding guest commented on how much they loved the venue, food, staff, etc. The rooms were all perfect. I've run out of adjectives to say how much we loved hosting the most important night of our lives here.

    Utilizing the hotel for out-of-town guests served us very well! Make sure to ask about any large events in the vicinity, such as graduation or conferences (due to proximity to the University of Delaware and Christiana Hospital) that could potentially take up many rooms. Fortunately, our wedding event manager at the Hilton had this information handy. The day was perfect, thanks to the help from the staff at Hilton Christiana/Wilmington! Additionally, the food was excellent and we recommend getting the cheesesteak and tater tot hot bar for the late night; your guests will appreciate it!

    Hilton Wilmington/Christiana made our Winter wonderland wedding extrodinary. The first sit down meeting with Leah M our event coordinator was perfect she made our vision come to life on paper,she listened to every detail and went above and beyond to make our vision come to life, the catering team and white gloves butlers were amazing and the good was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Our guest where so delighted and the Hotel made our guest feel so welcomed and comfortable with there hotel accommodations.     The staff at the Christiana Hilton made our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more! They paid attention to our wishes and made all of them come to life. Leah and our Butler were phenomenal! They handled all of the behind the scenes work and really made the day run so smoothly. They were caring, kind, and super friendly.     We selected the Hilton after attending a wedding there the previous year. The location was an initial draw as we both had family coming from out of state. We are so happy with our choice! The entire planning process was seamless from start to finish we worked with Leah and she was fabulous easy to work with genuinely excited to help us plan our perfect day. We had the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all here and our go to guy for the day of was Alfredo he made sure everything went off without a hitch and made sure we were able to have fun at our own wedding and not worry about anything.     If you're looking for the absolute perfect wedding venue, look no further than the Christiana Hilton. From the first meeting we had with the coordinator, Leah, to the last minute of checking out the day after the wedding, it was nothing but perfection. On our first meeting we were greeted with high class and professionalism with personalized signs showing our reserved table. Leah guided us through every step of the way and gave us plenty of suggestions for vendors to use that ultimately made our wedding a complete hit with our guests! During the ceremony and reception we worked with Alfredo, who was at our side every step of the way. Seriously, this guy is like a wedding ninja. He made sure the ceremony and reception went as smooth as glass with zero interruptions or hiccups. As for the venue itself, again, perfect. The whole place was clean and spotless with nothing in disrepair. During the day of the wedding, my family had to go to the Hilton to decorate the gazebo, and the whole staff was very helpful. Anything we needed, they got it for us. Todd made sure all of our stuff was accessible and/or locked away safely. The suite we were given to stay in was clean and comfortable, and they actually go out of the way to make it special for you. The price of this venue was a fraction of the cost of other venues, but did not have a "cheap" feeling at all; everything was very high class. Overall, I can not say enough about the Hilton. If you are on the fence, just go with it, you will NOT be disappointed.

    The staff the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana is amazing. After our initial meeting with Leah, we knew we wanted to have our wedding at the Hilton. Leah was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. We met with her several times to make sure everything was perfect. In addition to meeting with her, I had countless email conversations about the wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Hilton in there Wine Cellar. It was amazing! The room is separate from the rest of their restaurant, so we did get privacy. The food was great and everyone loved being able to order whatever they wanted off of the menu. On the day of the wedding, the bridal party was able to use the hospitality suite starting at 10am. This worked out perfectly for hair, makeup, and pictures of the girls getting ready. The suite was filled with drinks. Susan, our butler-ess was just the nicest. She helped supervise the rehearsal and the day of the wedding checked in on us several times to see if we were okay. While the wedding party was getting ready, Susan and the staff set up all of decorations we brought. The wedding and the reception area looked beautiful. Susan did a fantastic job making sure the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. Everything was perfect! The food was delicious. We had the European Chicken Breast and the Strip Steak for the two entrees. What I thought was really neat was that my husband and myself could have whatever entree we wanted that they offer. All of my friends and family had a wonderful time and they kept telling me and my mother how nice the wedding was. I had a wonderful time at the wedding and could not imagine having the wedding anywhere else. My husband and I both agree that the Hilton is a great place to have a wedding! The price of the wedding a fantastic value; we got so much for the overall price.

    LEAH and her team are AMAZING! I had no worries through this entire process and knew I was in great hands. I do a lot of event planning for my business and these gals had it all covered. Kenny and I had our families all stay for at least the weekend, and the hotel was accommodating and top notch for everyone - those staying, those just attending the wedding, all of it!!     There are not enough positive things to say about the Hilton! The catering sales manager, Leah, is excellent to work with. She listens to the customer and follows through on her word. Working with the Hilton staff makes you feel like family. This is a great place to have the wedding because the Hilton is full service and you can have a wonderful wedding for a good cost. It takes a lot of the stress off the bride to have services such as catering, linen, centerpieces and cake included in your package.

    We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton on June 12, 2015. The Hilton was our top choice from the beginning and we were so pleased. Leah Markiewicz made the planning so easy. Every question or request, no matter how big or small was answered and accommodated. Alfredo Bernal was our day of coordinator and he was awesome keeping the day as stress free as possible. Our day was absolutely wonderful and everything came together perfectly. The courtyard was the perfect setting for our ceremony and the Christiana ballroom was gorgeous. The service and food was very good. What really stands out is all of the positive feedback we have received from our family and friends about the wedding and we can't thank the Hilton enough for executing such a fabulous event! Hands down we will use them again for events in the future.

    There are two words that describe the Christiana Hilton Hotel ‘Absolutely Outstanding’! The hospitality you receive at the Hilton is phenomenal. From the time my husband and I walked into the venue we knew we wanted to get married there and have our reception. The Hilton is so beautiful; when you drive up you can see the pond with the elegant swans swimming around and the water fountain. The customer service was awesome! At our first appointment the front desk representative greeted me with a pink rose as the (Bride), I felt so special. We met with Leah Markiewicz, the (Sales Manager); she is so fabulous and has such a bubbly welcoming personality. We love Leah and have adopted her as a family member. She walked us through planning our beautiful wedding every step of the way and she continued to be very responsive via email as well. The Hilton staff said it best, “Leah is in a class of her own”. She even had a private room for us to show previous wedding videos that took place at the Hilton, in the room she served us champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and other light refreshments. Leah is so organized and very professional; she made our decision to have our wedding at the Hilton so much easier. Everything pretty much fell into place. She tailored our dream wedding to fit our budget. Our guests are still raving about our wedding and how good the food tasted. Sue our Butler and Melissa our Day of Wedding Attendant were fantastic as well and helped our wedding run so smoothly.     It was the wedding of my dreams !! Leah was awesome and helped so much with the planning. The food was superb. We had a few bumps with the fire alarm going off just hours before our ceremony but everything still went on as planned.     Leah and the rest of the staff at the Hilton were wonderful! Each time I spoke with them they were polite, friendly and professional. They really seemed delighted in their jobs. The reception package was ideal for us since it included the cake and centerpieces, and Leah was flexible in working around our budget but also meeting our wants and needs. It was definitely worth the price we paid for 130 guests. All our guests had nothing but good things to say about the reception and how beautiful the hotel was. We used the parlor the morning of the wedding for our hair and makeup, requested a room to be setup for an afterparty and a room Sunday morning for a private mass and no extra charge was added to our package. Suzanne was so attentive and took care of everything for us during the actual reception. Everything went so smoothly. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy ourselves - it was perfect.

    Leah was phenomenal throughout the entire wedding planning process! She was always willing to bend over backwards to make sure everything we wanted was provided. The staff at the Hilton the day of the event were also equally amazing. My bridal party was constantly tended to and never without drink in hand. The bridal suite was beautifully decorated complete with a few small gifts to celebrate our wedding night. The food was AMAZING, seriously the crab bisque was the greatest thing I have ever had and the guests raved over how great everything was. I cannot think of one thing that could have been improved upon. The staff even made it a priority to calm me down when my DJ was over a half hour late to our event (unrelated vendor). I would recommend any bride to use the Christiana Hilton for their wedding!

    Booking our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton was the best decision we could have ever made. Leah made us feel that we were her top priority from the moment we first walked in the door to tour the facility, to the countless number of emails and phone calls through the entire planning process. She was so easy to work we decided (at the last minute) to book the Hilton for our rehearsal dinner. Leah always went above and beyond for us, she was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The day of our wedding, was amazing. The gardens in the couryard created the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and the reception in the Ballroom was everything we wanted and more. Our butler, Suzanne, attended to our every need and knew what we wanted before we could even ask. It was because of her and the staff, we truly were able to enjoy every second of our day. Months later, friends and family are still complimenting us on our wedding from the beautiful set up to the delicous food. I cannot say 'thank you' enough for making our wedding beyond anything we expected.

    The Hilton was such a great place, loved working with Leah to make my day so perfect and Kelly Ann our go to girl that day was completely amazing Kelly Ann knew what we wanted before we even asked for it. I would definitely recommend this place for events, they were so easy to work with and took A LOT of stress off of me. (And if anyone knows planning a wedding could be VERY stressful)

She was always accommodating, friendly, helpful, and responded to any question I had(as silly as some of them were). I cannot say 'thank you' enough for making our wedding beyond anything we expected. Our Butler, Ezscus was wonderful. He brought all my ideas to life for the ceremony and the reception and made sure the night went according to plan without any issues. Michelle who helped in the Bridal suite also went above and beyond for the whole Bridal Party and never stopped smiling! I highly recommend the Hitlon Christiana...you will not be disappointed.

    Working with Leah was amazing, she was there answering every email and phone call in awesome time and always willing to accommodate whatever I requested. My wedding day went off without a single problem, someone was there handling everything and I did not have to worry about a single thing which made me relax and actually enjoy the day and better yet my whole family thought it was the best wedding that they have every been to - which is saying a lot. The food was endless and amazing to beat. Everything was exactly what I wanted and more. I would definitely come back for other events!!

    The amount of professionalism your company showed my husband and I cannot be measured. Leah made all my dreams come true and made it look effortless! I was extremely excited by the turn out of my wedding. My guests still compliment me on what a great night it was!

    Leah and the entire staff at the Christiana Hilton did a wonderful job with our wedding! The entire affair went smoothly and everything was addressed to our satisfaction. We had several guests that stayed overnight (as did we), and the accommodations were very nice. We had a fantastic wedding and were very pleased!

    Our decision to get married and pick a date was quite quick and Leah was able to accommodate us and arrange a reasonable package for a wonderful evening. She even moved us to a larger room the day before being it was not rented...that was AWESOME!!

    We had Leah and she will take care of you from the beginning to the end. She responded to my emails right away. The day of the wedding flowed well without a worry. We were supposed to have the wedding outside and reception inside, but the wedding was cold that the transition was handled without a problem 2 hrs before the event started. The room was decorated well without me telling them what to do. Whenever we renew our vows, they will be top of the list!

    The Hilton was a lovely venue for our April wedding. The hotel is lovely with many pretty and photogenic areas. Leah was incredible, accommodating, and so enthusiastic.

    On April 13th.2014 we had our wedding reception at the Hilton. I just wanted to thank you first of all for just being extraordinary in helping us coordinate this most important event in our lives. You were very understanding and detail oriented and gave us lots of input how the event should take place. I never thought I could have my wedding at a place like Hilton.
    > I think anyone can come and see how beautiful the place is so I just wanted to talk about service.
    > After everything was coordinated is such a friendly and professional Manner, your team at the night of our event was just extraordinary, superb. They cater to each and every need right on the spot no matter how inconvenient it could be. The stuff was extremely friendly,professional and courteous. Even at night around 1 o'clock when my wife and I were really hungry one of the stuff member brought us some snacks before our dinner could get to us.
    > My wife and I and all our family and friends at attends were extremely impressed by everything Hilton as done for us. I would highly recommend only your hotel for any types of events. I am sure there are other hotels and other Hilton's in the area but no one has you and your team which what makes the difference.
    > I would just like to add my sister came from UK and she is a branch manager of one of the biggest hotel chains in UK Premiere Inn and she notice the service and professionalism provided and she took so many notes from the event and learned from it and now applying it at her branch in Manchester,England.
    > You are famous world wide !!!

    We had THE BEST time at our wedding thanks to the staff at the Christiana Hilton. They include the centerpieces and cake in the per person cost (upcharge if you go above their basic options). They handled everything for us from the planning all the way to wrapping up our dinner that we didn't eat and putting it in the fridge in our room for later. The food was outstanding! We have gotten so many comments on the food since we got back from our honeymoon. I would highly recommend the Hilton to anyone getting married, the quality of service and food for the price is great!

    From the very first meeting at the hotel, there was nothing but professionalism and a willingness to make my dreams come true. They brought me a rose and had champagne waiting in the conference room for me. There were 3 packages, but they were flexible so that I could add or remove any of the components. The day of my wedding was flawless. Suzanne, Leah's support staff, was with me the entire day. Anything I needed or anything I had a question on she was there for me. The courtyard location for our ceremony could not have been more picturesque. Leah and Suzanne met me right before I walked down the aisle with my dad and gave me nothing but calming words that made me feel a lot less nervous. We went right from the ceremony to taking pictures. Since we were having the reception one hour after the ceremony there was not much time to get in a lot of shots. Good thing is, even though we didn't have time to travel to a second location for pictures, the Hilton had more than enough places to take absolutely beautiful shots. Since we missed the cocktail hour, Suzanne had made sure that they saved some appetizers from the cocktail hour and had it waiting for us on our table. The thoughtfulness of the staff there is more than you could ever hope for. If I needed anything, it was in my hands two seconds after I asked. It left me without a worry in the world, which is exactly what I wanted. The Hilton staff was so impressive to me. They are what really made me love my wedding. Of course the venue was absolutely beautiful and they were priced perfect for what you receive, but the staff made it all the worthwhile. Leah, Suzanne, our servers that night and even the bartender (who made the most amazing drinks in the world) were so good to me and made my day so much more special than I could have imagined. I would tell a million people over and over again that you couldn't have your wedding at a better location or with better people than the Hilton Christiana!

    Leah and all of the staff at Christiana Hilton made all of my dreams come true and made our wedding reception everything we had always wanted. They were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was absolutely perfect!!

    The staff and venue were perfect for our wedding. The entire staff made us feel very special and treated us like we were family. They catered to every wish and went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. Leah Markiewicz, the sales manager, Provided extraordinary service, she was very professional, flexible and just a real joy to work with for our event. Leah guided us through every step, we could not have done it without her. The ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious, served hot and timely. The two butlers that managed the room that day (Suzanne and Kelly) could not have been more attentive. Everything went very smoothly and flawless as a result of the staff's efforts and attention to detail. After being with my partner for 20 years, we could finally get married. The Hilton and Leah's team treated us with respect and were gracious to host our gay wedding. We highly recommend this hotel.
    Thanks to everyone for making our wedding unforgettable.
